Marlen was such a blessing. We had another sitter cancel just a week before our vacation date so I was so relieved that she was able to step in at such short notice. She came to meet our pups a few days in advance so they would recognize her. While we were away, Marlen sent picture updates and made sure the dogs were cared for. So glad to have found someone like her to help us out.
Once again Dede was the most perfect pup and house sitter you could ever hope to have the pleasure of using. She leaves our home cleaner than we left it and our pups so happy that they continue to search for her after she leaves. Dede handled an emergency situation with a false CO2 alarm which resulted in a visit from the fire department perfectly and we were so grateful! I feel completely comfortable with her in our home and know she is giving our 2 dogs the very best care. Thank you Dede - you truly are the best!
Our dog loved Angela, as did we! She was friendly, efficient, handled our large, happy bernadoodle effectively and with love...we could not have asked for a better dog sitter and would be happy to have her back.
I’m sure most folks say the nicest things about their sitter, but honestly, if there were a “super star” status available then Denise would win the prize as sitter of the year! From the start, Denise was an excellent communicator. While we were still in the decision phase, Denise was always available to chat either by FaceTime, telephone or text. It was so easy to choose Denise; as you can see from her countless 5 star reviews, she truly is the only pet sitter you’d ever need and the one everyone hopes to have. Denise came to our house eager to meet us, our pets and the quirks of our house. Denise has an excellent sense of humor and immediately put us all at ease. Our pets took to her as if she was a long lost friend (even our finicky Siamese cat was loving on her from the start). While we were gone, our dog had a non-emergency health issue come up and just like that Denise was taking her to our vet, and administered the dog’s meds like a champion (Denise is also a nurse BTW). Additionally, Denise brought our pup to her scheduled groom appointments and even made future appointments for us to make our return home as seamless as possible. Denise was even above and beyond helpful to our neighbors and they appreciated her giving them access to our refrigerator when theirs broke down on Thanksgiving Eve! When we got home we were super impressed by how perfectly immaculate our house was! Most sitters leave the house clean, but Denise met and may have even exceeded our military standards of clean and orderly. Seriously, our house felt like we never left it. Everything was spotless, shinny and clean. She didn’t miss a beat!! Our pets were so happy to see us but honestly, I felt like our pup and kitty were disappointed when we walked in the door (I believe they were expecting to see Denise!). Haha. If you are ever fortunate enough to have Denise apply for any of your sits then I can’t recommend her enough. Seriously, you can stop reviewing applicants and just go with Denise. She was awesome in every sense of the word and I hope she’ll come back and stay with our pets again.
We loved Misty!!!! She was absolutely the most perfect baby sitter for our dog and an amazing short term tenant at our house. Not only did she keep the house clean but she even washed everything she used before we got home. We even got a couple gifts from her. She is such a sweet human, kept in contact with us while we were gone and sent videos of the hikes and walks they went on. I would 100% ask her to stay at our house again
Amara was a WONDERFUL sitter for our home and our dogs for the weekend. We were so comfortable with her being in our home, and she provided regular updates and photos of our babies. The house was clean upon arrival home - we would have no hesitation recommending her to others and hope she would consider coming back to spend more time with our dogs!
Robert and Biljana are absolutely the best sitters you could ever get. We have used them several times already. They have always arrived at the stated date and time. They are eager to receive any and all instructions and will follow them as stated. They keep us informed almost every day on our dogs and send pictures regularly. They always go above and beyond their duties. Robert has fixed a few things around the house without being asked. They buy things for our dogs and have even trained our dogs on certain issues. They made a concerted effort to get to know the neighbors and talked up our dogs to all of them. They will be discreet with any and all information given. We really appreciated all their hard work and effort. They have certainly elevated the bar for the next sitters. Biljana took very good care of our plants and spoiled our dogs to excess. They now expect the same from us!! We will welcome them back anytime. Hiring them is a decision that will not be regretted.
The two-leggeds and four-legged members of this household give Tess a 5-star rating! We think she's one of the best sitters you will find - highly communicative, friendly, competent, reliable, and great with pets. Tess was also flexible about start and end dates to accomodate possible winter weather complications. For this sit, Tess was able to bring along her mom, Cathy. Tess introduced me to Cathy during one of our Skype conversations prior to the sit. It was a bonus to have her here with Tess. Their travel to Marquette was complicated by weather. A fierce winter storm swept across Michigan just before the sit. It took Tess and Cathy two days to drive here but they arrived, as promised, in time for us to fly out early the next morning. We even had time for a lovely dinner together and to introduce them to the dogs and house. We left the next day and never had a moment's worry while Tess and Cathy were caring for our pets and home. Tess sent us regular updates and photos. The dogs immediately accepted them as great new additions to their pack of friends - even our cranky, old chihuahua, Nike! We returned to happy pets and a spotlessly clean home. We plan to invite Tess (and Cathy if available) to return for future sits. Thank you, Tess and Cathy!
Stephanie, Brian and baby Martin took fabulous care of our home and pets for two weeks. From the outset, communication was quick, smooth and friendly and it was clear that both Stephanie and Brian are reliable, professional and warm sitters who take all the various elements of a sit seriously. They kept us up to date with photos and messages, dealt proactively and competently with any unexpected issues that popped up, and most importantly showered our dogs and gerbils with attention and care throughout the time we were away. We returned to a spotlessly clean home (with thoughtful touches of fresh milk, bacon and bread waiting for us) and happy, settled pets. In short, we would recommend Stephanie and Brian to anyone looking for reliable, attentive and proactive sitters for their pets and home. We would be delighted to welcome them back for another sit, should they ever find themselves in the area again.
Ranji was a wonderful pet sitter for my dog Zoe and was very easy to communicate with and kept me informed. She took wonderful care of our condo and wouldn’t hesitate to have her in my new home in NJ if she wants to check out a new area.

Paisley always had the best times with you guys! your team always energetically greet her when she walks through the door! She is always in good hands. The staff is so good with the pups! Facility is clean and provides your pups with plenty of activity throughout the day.
Thank you to the incredible staff for the warm welcome you gave Sam during our visit to the area this past weekend. This location is convenient and the atmosphere is very friendly and professional. We’re so happy to find a Dogtopia location when we travel. We knew Sam would be in great caring hands and have fun at the same time!
Staff is attentive, facility is very clean & in a convenient location. My dog comes home tired & happy. I love that I can check in on the webcams. Picture of dog for attention.
Excellent customer service! Really nice staff members who work there. It is obvious they care about my dog. Gave me lots of really helpful information, and it's great to be able to see my dog during the day while I'm at work.
Bean absolutely loves Doggy Daycare! I couldn’t ask for a better place to watch my Wife and I’s Dog! I know he is well taken care of and I don’t have to worry. The staff there is very helpful and friendly. If I could rate this daycare higher than 5 stars I would. Bean has become more comfortable around others since going to daycare. We always enjoy watching him on the cameras and love the events they have for the dogs. We LOVE Dogtopia!!
Update in response to the business reply: My foster dog Jude has been in my home for 6 weeks, so their reasoning for denying him still does not apply. Instead of communicating that policy to me or even ASKING how long Jude had been in my home for, they automatically told me fosters aren't permitted to attend. This business has very poor communication and it's clear staff are not informed of the policies in place. I was told they do not accept foster dogs, but they failed to provide any proof of this policy or reasoning behind it. After I got a manager involved, they suddenly were open to discussing it. It’s clear either the employee I spoke to is woefully uninformed or making a conscious effort to discriminate against foster and rescue dogs. Definitely don’t recommend them to anyone with a rescue dog, check out Greenlin Pet Resorts instead!
Unfortunately, this past Friday, there was an incident where my puppy was sent home with the wrong owner. When I went to pick her up that day from daycare, I am greeted with “I really don’t know how to tell you this, but she is not here. She got sent home as another dog.” I am explained the situation, and thankfully she was brought back to the daycare and seems to be okay. I was previously told my dog had a look-a-like there, and I’ve seen pictures of them where there are similarities, but you can still tell them apart. Because of the incident I was asked to meet the other dog that my own dog was swapped with to ensure it wasn’t mine, and it is EVEN MORE obvious, they are two different dogs, especially as the pet parent. So as to how the TWO owners for the other dog could not identify their own dog, after given the chance to see both dogs to make sure they took the right one home… is a whole other frustration I won’t dive into. All the owners had to say to me was “Well she got a lot of treats!” I’m just thankful my pup has no known allergies. As for Dogtopia, there was clear negligence. And I completely understand mistakes happen, but it is clear that there should have been other actions taken to prevent this from happening on their part. Why are the two “look-a-likes” not wearing different collars or why isn’t there a different way to identify them since apparently they are so similar? Why was I not contacted right away? I walked in and was told the news. So it makes me wonder, were they really just waiting for me to arrive? Or were they not even going to tell me if I had showed up after my dog was brought back? Why when the owner and employees questioned which dog was which (and I was told it was clear the other owners were still unsure prior to them leaving), was I not contacted or even texted to just say “Hey we’re having some confusion, can we send you pictures or could you stop in to ensure they are taking home the correct dog?”. I am located very close to the daycare and could’ve easily been there in minutes need be. Since this incident, the only apology I’ve gotten was from one of the workers who just told me that they were sorry and they aren’t really sure what to do because this hasn’t happened to them before, that there’s new staff, it was so chaotic that day, and that there was no manager in today to assist in how to handle it. Myself and the other owner were given a free day of daycare card for this happening. I emailed them that night to have a manager call me to discuss this incident and to ask what will be done in the future to ensure this doesn’t happen again if I chose to bring her back- I got no response to that. So I reached out again the following day and was told a district manager should give me a call that day- still nothing. Then they told me that they should be giving me a call the next day (Sunday), and it is now late Sunday night and STILL nothing from anyone, not even the location manager. With all of that being said, we will not be returning to Dogtopia. There is so much that could’ve went wrong from this incident alone, and such a lack of concern and communication. My puppy has been going to this location 3 days a week for daycare since March until this occurred. I have not had any issues up until this point and the employees have always been kind to us both. My pup always seems happy to see the employees. So it is just very disappointing it was handled the way it was. Update: The district manager called me this morning (Monday). He was not made aware of the incident until Saturday evening and completely agreed the employees handled this entirely incorrect and did not follow protocols. He even agreed that so many things could've went wrong because of this. As there is not much he can do for me moving forward, I still appreciated the call to explain the frustration and concern, in hopes that this would not happen in the future to others. Though he understood we would not be returning, he ensured there would be a conversation had with staff and that this should not happen again.
Everyone is wonderful. We're glad we decided on Dogtopia for us and our dog. In the morning, we only need to ask our dog, "Do you want to go to the playground? ", and he immediately becomes super-excited. He can't wait to get back to the his play room. My coworkers think it's awesome when I switch on the webcam at work. He is undoubtedly so exhausted from all of the trotting, barking, drinking, and cuddling that he sleeps until the following morning, when we ask him if he is ready to go again. Additionally, we've had him groomed with Dogtopia when he was having a playday, which is quite convenient.
My doggos love their coaches at Dogtopia - they always give big hugs and go straight back. So grateful for the car they give my babies!
My pup loves attending all of the events Dogtopia puts on! He is always well taken care of, and I love being able to watch him on the webcams throughout the day.
Deborah has been taking care of my two girls (kitties) since I moved to Mechanicsburg a year an a half ago. I am military and travel ALOT for work on short notice. She never over charges me, has a key to my home, even brings in my packages and I have never asked her to do that.I trust her completely and would never consider going anywhere else. She sends me pictures of my girls when I am away, which bring me joy, and she goes above and beyond. She has gone to the store to buy floor cleaner to clean up messes (of course I reimbursed her) and on one trip away the piping froze and no water was running to the house so she brought it in. Can not say enough wonderful things about Debbie. She has been the best pet sitter experience I have ever had.
I cannot say enough about Debbie and Roger! They are absolutely wonderful caring people. I am over the top protective of my “Diva Yorkie” (Miah), and when I leave her in their care at Bow Wow Meow I know she is in the best care I could possibly ask for. It’s a wonderful feeling not to worry when I am away that Miah is protected, loved, and cared for like she gets at home. I highly recommend!
Debbie and Roger often took care of our dog -Sasha - until they left NC. Since they moved to PA we haven't found a pet sitter that Sasha likes as much as she likes them. We miss them. They are caring and trustworthy, I absolutely recommend them.
We've been taking our beautiful Miss Wynn Lee, one year old German Weimaraner, to Noah's for more than half a year. Wynn LOVES day care about once each week, and she's also been kenneled during one of our week-long vacations. Wynn has made …
My beautiful 9-month old German Weimaraner Wynn has been at the Mechanicsburg facility multiple times. SHE LOVES IT! A happy puppy weim makes for an EXHILERATED Mother! ;) Every staff I've met here smiles, discusses the pup and her experience, and is kind. Every other customer I've talked to walking in/out with their pups RAVES about this place too! The Facebook photos are a BONUS, and I love sharing Wynn's pics for her day care experiences at Noah's Pet Hotel & Spa West, everything from playing with other happy pups to chasing bubbles to rolling on the ground with new pup friends to relaxing in the shade to enjoying the special attention from human friends. And the price is right... though, honestly, the experience is so 5* that the price is secondary. WARNING: if you go here, you will never go anywhere else, even if it means driving out of your way (which is why I GLADLY do). P.S. Yesterday Wynn was at puppy camp plus she stayed over night for the first time. It is now mid-day AND WYNN IS STILL NAPPING... OH HAPPY MOTHER! <3
This place is the best! My puppy has so much fun here. I love that he makes friends everyday. I purchased the unlimited pass and I am so excited that they offer it. It only makes sense. I take my puppy here m-f and I have trust that they take good care of him. He’s so worn out and tired when we get home that all he wants to do is eat dinner and go to bed. It makes me happy to know he’s getting great exercise. One thing I was a little sad about is my boy had sunburn on his nose. I’m hoping that maybe they can start applying it on his nose if I provide it. Overall do not hesitate this is the place to go!
I was pleasantly surprised when I brought Clover for her free day. The the facility was very clean and the girls that I spoke with are very knowledgeable. They kept me informed as how Clover was doing for the day. I am very happy. I have signed Clover up to continue to go there she seemed to have a very good time. I think her big smile says it all. Very happy I found Noah's pet hotel and spa for my baby.
Our dog Bella stayed from Sunday to Sunday at Noah's Pet Hotel & Spa West while we were out of town. We were so happy with her time there. She needs medication and they did an amazing job of caring for her. Highly recommend the La Carte Service for Daycare Group for their entertainment. We looked forward to seeing the daily pictures on the facebook page. We will definitely continue to take our fur baby to Noah's West.
1st week (1 day a week) visit for our 2 year old lab. He had an older brother who passed not long ago and our younger boy was missing him so we wanted to give him some companionship with other dogs. So far so good. We were able to see some photos of him playing with others on their Facebook. They spend time outside playing in groups which is pretty cool. We think he was still overly excited when he got home, ended up not keeping his meal down so we will have to see how that goes.
First-time dog owner here. I toured about 5-6 different daycare/kennels in the area and picked Noah’s because I liked how the facility was laid out and how the dogs get more personalized attention here. The kennels have access to outdoors which my dog loves. The staff really made him feel at home when he first started and even sat with him in his kennel to ease his anxiety. During boarding, they offer webcam access so that really eased MY anxiety. Everyone is friendly and very helpful.
I originally started bringing my boy here when he was a puppy, he was so happy to come every day. I did go on vacation to come back and my dog had kennel cough. No one called me or anything. They kind of just said to take him to the vet. I was really pissed about that for a while. Fast forward a year and a half later, after going to many other daycares my dog has the most fun here. They actually play with the dogs. It’s really good to see that they allow all the dogs to play together instead of segregating them. I will continue to bring my dog here even though I live an hour away. The staff are pretty friendly, more friendly to the dogs than people though. But in my eyes that’s what I care about most. The prices are very fair compared to other places around here charging $50 a day which is ridiculous. Again I love this daycare and never had any issues other than kennel cough that one time.
The registration process was easy and so was drop off and pick up. My dog was in for the weekend, so there was no social play, but I was able to pay a few dollars extra to get some one-on-one playtime. That is a great feature. I liked being able to check on my dog throughout the day (he was in a junior suite), although I could only see him when he was inside (not the outside portion of the suite). Noah's Pet Hotel fed my dog the food I brought in for him along with treats. I was very happy with his stay.
Noah’s provides excellent service to my two dogs. Always accommodating. My dogs always are happy to go. They wash them without hesitation every time I request them to before I pick them up. They are also very knowledgeable with my dogs. I never have to ask them to do things for my dogs. They stay on top of things and always care about the pets that stay there. I would highly recommend boarding your dog here.
Vicki is fabulous! Our almost 6-month-old puppy, Gifford, loved Vicki from their first meet and greet! He’s a lot to handle especially when anyone first comes into our home and Vicki wasn’t phased at all! He’s the typical “covid puppy” and not used to being alone She watched Gifford for an afternoon into the evening in our home. She gave us updates on how he was and what he was doing (which we loved!) and I know they both enjoyed their time together! You just can tell what an animal lover she is! We can’t wait to use Vicki’s services again soon and have already recommended her to our friends with fur babies! Give her a try and you will not be disappointed!
Vicki is awesome. I contacted her very last minute and she was very accommodating. My pup was experiencing separation anxiety when my husband and I went back to our teaching jobs after summer, and I realized I needed a mid day visit for her. Vicki communicated with me while she was in my home and even cleaned up an accident. She went above and beyond what I was expected.
Vicki watched my pug Joey for me while I was on vacation for a week. She stayed in my home and took wonderful care of him. She sent me updates and pictures of him, and put my mind at ease while I was gone knowing he was in good hands. She also went above and beyond in getting my house ready for me to return, it was very much appreciated. I will be using Vicki again for all my future pet sitter needs!
What would we have done without Vicki! We found her after two other pet sitters canceled with a very short notice. We left our house and our four legged daughter with her for 15 days. I thought Tika was going to suffer horribly without us. But as the days passed and we received pictures and videos of Tika, we knew she was in good hands and what a relief it was! Vicki went above and beyond. We will use her again for sure!
We are so grateful to have Sara in our lives. We've spent years looking for a walker/sitter that was willing to work with us on slow introductions for my reactive/nervous pup. We were extra blessed to find Sara, because her background as a vet tech makes me confident that my pups IBD will be managed correctly while I am away. My pup loves Sara and I've already been recommending her to everyone I know.
Sara and her team were awesome. They watched my senior cat for a week while I was away. They arrived at the requested am and pm times, took pictures, and sent updates every day. They were able to medicate my cat each day even though she was constantly finding new places to hide from them. Sara even brought in my mail and took out my trash. I would definitely hire Sara again.
A dear friend referred Sam to us after we had a horrid kennel experience for our two cats. We talked with Sam in person and felt a bond. Over the last few years, "Uncle Sammie" is our only cat sitter during the day or overnights and two week trips. We get photos each day and the cats love him. Now when he comes in the door they come running to him. We trust him to no end.
Sam is caring and treats our pets like they are his own. They love when Sam comes to walk them or stay with them. We know our pets will receive the same care and love we give them. Sam is trustworthy, kind, and reliable.
Sam is the best. Great with our dog and adjusts to what she needs. Always gives updates so I never worry. Communication is excellent.
We have been working with Sam now for over 2 years and he continues to be a reliable , caring, responsible pet sitter. He feels like a member of our family and we never worry about our 4 legged family members when we travel. He provides updates while he is with our girls and he genuinely enjoys snuggling with them on the sofa, in the bed and playing with them outdoors. He is skilled with animals and was easily able to navigate our 2 new anxious rescue pets without any issues! You will not be disappointed if you choose to give him a call to help you with your pets.
Sam is great! Always on time and responsive. And he always keeps us updated on our dog.
The best dog walking service in Mechanicsburg. I highly recommend!!
Highly recommend, came over a few days beforehand to meet our pup and get the lay of the land. Took great care of our pittie all day for us and our boy really enjoyed his time with Matt - our usually anxious pup even fell asleep on him. Will definitely use them again.
Aj and Matt took great care of my 4 cats and dog on many occasions. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I felt at ease having them take care of my pets because they treat them like their own.
Great people, great business!! They treat your animals like you do, a member of your family! Definitely giving them some more business in the future!!
We recently moved to the area without knowing anyone. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I found Sonya through her Wags and Whiskers website and we are very fortunate to have found her! She is flexible, quick to respond, checks in frequently, and …
Sonya has been wonderful to work with!. There have been times when I need to leave town quickly, and she has always responded promptly to my requests and taken great care of my cat and my house while I am away. I highly recommend Wags and Whiskers for all your pet sitting needs!
