Kayla is amazing. She’s the only person I trust with my high energy and extremely timid pup. Her situational awareness working with sensitive animals is unmatched. We started with puppy classes and are now loving weekly private training walks. So far, every single recommendation she’s made for our puppy has been spot on.

Kayla is amazing. She’s calm truly loves dogs has so much patience for them. And all of her trading strategies are positive and work. Parallel club is a fabulous way to get your dog used to leash walking and not being reactive to other dogs.

Kayla is a highly skilled dog walker and trainer and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. From the moment I met her, it was evident that she possessed a deep understanding and love for dogs. The level of training that kayla has is truly remarkable. She have a keen eye for behavior and is able to anticipate the needs and wants of my Husky Kouma, a high-energy pup. The whistler dog nanny has been amazing!! I could not have asked for more from Kayla and her staff, cedar loves every walk! Kayla was very accommodating when I inquired about dog sitting for the same evening, during our family Whistler trip. She was very prompt to answer my questions and follow up throughout the day. We recently moved to the area and feel very fortunate to be able to have Kayla and her team exercise our young Golden. They are extremely caring and go out of their way to keep the dogs safe while in their care. The group walks are Lumi's favourite part of the day.

Alex and Alex have become part of the family taking incredible care of our dog, Bowen. Being a Springer Spaniel X Australian Shepard he needs extra stimulation and walkies and they give him both in his weekly pack walks. Communication with the Alex’s has been super easy from sorting out scheduling for each week, payment, even when we found out he has a food allergy and they helped honour that request. Worth every penny and I know Bowen would say so too as he always verrrrry excited to see them. We get a super tired dog afterwards, which makes our household run smoother with a happy dog

Awesome stay for our 1 yr old labradoodle. Lots of long walks in the snow with a few other dogs. Alex sent us daily photos/videos of our dog having a blast outdoor. Great solution for us going to Whistler since most condos don't allow pets.

Alex and Alex are the BEST. Our dog Juno almost loves them more than us and gets beyond excited when they arrive at the door to pick her up! They are friendly, reliable, punctual and love Juno as much as we do. We could not be happier. AND, they house sat our two bengal cats, Lily and Scout. I don’t know where to start with this review— Happy Trails is by far the best dog walking and sitting company I have ever come across. The owners treat our dog like family, in fact, we call them Auntie and Uncle (which may make me sound silly— but what can I say, we are crazy dog owners and our pup is family!) The peace of mind I have leaving her with them is priceless. We receive video’s, pictures and updates while she’s away. She even went stand up paddle boarding for the first time and we got the cutest picture of her in her life jacket! Thank you Auntie and Uncle Alex!

Got in touch with Maureen about our dog staying with her while we left town for a wedding. Communication was good, website clear, and she gave me a tour of the facility before I dropped my dog off. There's a big field (fenced) for dogs to run and play in, with a pool and shade and many toys. There are some smaller outdoor runs as well. Inside, there is a large, air conditioned room that is partitioned into individual stalls. We were a little nervous about boarding our dog because a) he's our baby and b) he's a dog-reactive GSD. Because of his social issues, we asked that he be kept separate from other dogs. When I came to drop off our dog, I was met by Lisa, one of the employees. She was great and immediately put me at ease, as she has experience with reactive dogs, and immediately interacted well with him. Throughout his stay, Lisa kept us updated with photos and comments that reassured us that all was well. We picked up our dog tired and happy. He hadn't lost weight, wasn't frantic to leave, and hadn't been a nuisance to his caretakers or other dogs. Overall, we would highly recommend Absolute Kennels to anyone in the Kamloops area looking to board their dog. They are accommodating with temperaments and other individual needs. Thanks to Maureen and Lisa and we'll definitely be back next time!

The crew at Absolute Kennels is amazing. Between our family, we have 4 large breed dogs, and they normally stay together, which was accommodated at Absolute. A few of meds, 1 has high fear/anxiety, and we came home to 4 happy, healthy, and well cared for dogs at an extremely reasonable rate. Plus, there was absolutely NO KENNEL smell on any of them or their beds. Cannot thank them enough for caring for our fur babies! Ginger, Tank, Leo, and Pepper

Great people who love animals. Our dog is happy when we drop him off here. Very organized and clean. Good staff, nothing negative to say. I suggest using this kennel for your furry family members. Our dog is 120 lbs large. They have no issues with size.

We were a little nervous about using a kennel for our 5 yr old Frenchie and 11 yr old Bugg. They had never been to a kennel and haven't been in contact with other dogs as they are not too friendly. We were put at ease with Lisa explaining that she would have them separated and kept safe. She sent us photos of rhem playing and outside. We are extremely happy with the service, care and love they gave our pups. Our dogs came home tired but happy and actually somehow better behaved. Lol. We all look forward to our next visit soon. We just picked up our Chihuahua after boarding her for 8 days. We have nothing but the best to say about how she was handled. Our instructions on how to look after her were followed and her stay went very well. Pictures were texted to us part way through the stay which showed us how well she was doing...We are very happy and recommend this k Kennel!

My dog didn't want to go home! Great place, great value, clean, and organized. Lots of space for the pups to run around. They also keep the aggressive dogs in thier own areas. I will be using them again and again!

We have taken our dog to Maureen and her team many times. We always feel comfortable knowing that our dog is having fun and being well taken care of. Maureen's knowledge of dog behaviours has been very valuable and she doesn't hesitate to share suggestions to assist us. Frankie loves going to see Maureen!

I have waited over two months to leave this review as I was so upset by my dogs stay that I wanted to process my experience before I left this review. To begin I called months before and discussed boarding my dogs and decided to bring them in for doggie daycare several times before leaving for our trip. The reason I chose this kennel is because they have the home program and I didn’t want my dogs to stay in a kennel for 16 days. I was assured that they would stay in Maureen’s house not the kennel. They both went to daycare twice and seemed ok with their stays, so on the day we were leaving we dropped our two dogs, their leashes, food and beds. I texted Maureen who assured me a couple of days later that they were doing just fine and Lisa sent us pictures again telling us at day 6 that they were good. On the day we picked them up we were handed their beds in pieces with the covers ripped off and in pieces, the bedding was filthy, their leashes could not be found and when I express my concern at this Maureen indicated that perhaps I should not have boarded them for so long…as if it were my fault somehow. She then mentioned that they had a very nice kennel. I was stunned. I didn’t mention anything as I was so upset. We specifically paid for the home program so they would not be stressed in a kennel. I texted Maureen later that night expressing my concern. She said because my dog had just finished her cycle (she is spayed by removing her uterus but her ovaries are intact) she was upsetting the male dogs so she kennelled her with her sister. Never was that mentioned in any communication while we were texting during their stay. I expressed my concern to which Maureen replied back that it was because my dog was so smelly and sleezy. Seriously? Sleezy? I was stunned by that text. The aftermath of a nearly 2k stay was hotspots on my puppy from chewing her tail so much from a nervous reaction post kennel stay and permanent damage of her vocal cords which our vet felt was due to excessive strain likely caused by ongoing barking, which is likely as she has never been in a cage for 16 days straight. This kennel was the simply the worst experience we have had with a kennel and I would ask anyone that loves your pet to reconsider before you bring your pet here

Our dog spent three nights here on two separate occasions, resulting in a chewed up harness, lost food scoop, lost brand new toy, and the requirement to ask for them to search for his bag, leash, and other items before leaving. Better organization and respect for our items would go a long way. The location and setup for the dogs is very nice and I would consider returning if these items were addressed.

Abbey, Becca and the rest of the Doggy Tales team are absolutely amazing! My dog has been going on group walks all summer and has benefited greatly from his time with Becca. He is high energy breed which can sometimes difficult to manage, but Becca has always been very transparent with her communication and I feel confident that his needs are being met.

Abbey and Sadie are the very best dog walkers and caregivers you could ever hope to find. They are consistent, reliable and caring. They are trained in positive reinforcement techniques. They spend time getting to know your dog and finding the best pack group to fit them in with. My dog loves going with them on small pack walks and always comes home happy and tired. I have total trust in these very ethical doggy people.

If you ever need anybody to look after your dogs while in Whistler, Doggy Tales is the people to contact!!! Abbey stayed at our hotel while we went to a wedding and took AMAZING care of our three puppers! Our dogs are a lot to handle and quite loud, and one dog has a lot of behavioural problems regarding strangers but she was able to handle all their issues with ease! The dogs seemed to love her, and even Bentley my one dog who usually hates strangers ended up cuddling up to her on the couch by the end of the night! THANK YOU SO MUCH from my family and of course Bayley, Bentley, and Kaia!!

Roo had an amazing day with Abbey! It was great to work with Abbey. She is lovely, caring and obviously very good with dogs. She checked in to make sure that Roo would be a good fit for her group to ensure both Roo and her other dogs had a good day. Roo came home tired and happy! I would highly recommend Abbey and her services!

My dog absolutely loves his weekly walks with Sadie and Abbey! I love the report cards they send out after the walks. It always comes with awesome pictures of my boy having fun! Would highly recommend!

We had Abbey look after our 3 year old dog Moose while we were visiting Whistler. It was one of the best daycare experiences we’ve had. She picked him up and dropped him off at our hotel and was very punctual and provided timely updates and pictures throughout the day. Moose had a great time and was tired for several days later. We would definitely use Abbey again when we visit Whistler.

These ladies are the best! Abbey is so thorough and ensures that all the dogs in her small walks are compatible which is great for the more sensitive pups. Report cards and photos after every trip out, even if it's just a check in. They go above and beyond and love the dogs as if they were their own. I cannot say enough good things.

We had Abbey watch our dog during our wedding weekend up in Whistler. She was awesome with our dog and allowed us to be fully in the moment, knowing he was having a blast and being taken care of. Abbey was extremely accommodating, and worked great with our wedding planner, so that our dog was able to be a part of our big day! We would 100% recommend Abbey to any of our friends and family!!

I am so happy with the personalized service from Doggy Tales. Abbey and Sadie are very dedicated to all dogs and their well being. They work hard meeting dogs beforehand and finding the right group walk for their many different personalities. Our poodle has stayed there four times and we are well satisfied with the are and facilities. We have full confidence in Jane's management.

My dog is five years old and had never been boarded. She generally stays with family. She did not love being boarded, but she was safe and well taken care of. There is ample exercise time and doggie playtime is supervised. She was just getting used to it and making friends when we picked her up. We will slowly get her used to it.

Jane is wonderful, generous, kind woman who goes out of her way for her furry clients as well as their pet parents! We will be return customers.

I got to drop my friend's precious puppy (ok he's a dog) here while she was in the hospital and Jane was so nice and helpful with the care of my friend's dog that it relieved a lot of stress on my friend! When I picked the dog back up he was happy and healthy and well taken care of.

I made arrangements while I was in the US to drop off Noodle on a Friday. However, due to mishaps on my accomodations, they immediately took her in as soon as I landed Vancouver. It was a last minute request and they are very nice folks. I will bring my dog to them again. Ken and Yvonne are really nice. When I was picking up Noodle, they felt they were being separated from their grandchild, Ken’s arm on Yvonne’s shoulder as they bid us goodbye. Noodle would climb up to Ken’s lap as soon as he sat on the couch. Noodle became more affectionate when we returned to the US. Yvonne paid attention to the needs of the other dogs as well. Fed 3x a day plus treats and lots of hugs. They are really wonderful! I will bring Noodle back to them on my next trip.

This is the best place to take your pup! Ken and Yvonne have exceptional dog care skills. Whenever we take our Suka there we consider it a vacation for her as she loves them like Aunti and Uncle! Thank you both for being so wonderful and considerate!

The owners were wonderful and really helped us out of a bind. We had to go on a trip and we had planned to leave Kevin with another boarder. The other dog wasn’t really happy with a new 4 month puppy joining so we couldn’t leave him there. We were leaving the following day so now we had to find someone to leave our puppy with who we trusted. After meeting with them and having a long conversation you could tell they were great with dogs. Kevin instantly felt at home. So we felt comfortable leaving him there. We would get regular updates and pictures and when we picked up Kevin after 6 long days apart he looked happy and tired (must have played the whole time). I would highly recommend Marpole Dog Walking. 5 stars for sure! Very impressed!

Ken and Yvonne are just the best with dogs! They are caring, experienced and my dog absolutely loves them. I have dropped off my dog with them for the day on several occasions so she can get some exercise and play with other dogs. I have also left her with them for one month while I was on a trip last year and they took very good care of my dog. Ken and Yvonne are truly amazing - professional, caring, competent and amazing with dogs. They made an impression with me from the initial call inquiring about their services, to picking our puppy Rodney after 2 nights boarding, and everything in between to assure us that he was doing well and sending pictures too! I was particularly nervous about boarding because Rodney was assessed at another dog boarding place and they had to cancel our reservation due to fear aggression he showed when he stopped by for an hour visit. When I told Ken about this experience and to warn him, he was confident with their abilities to manage Rodney and didn’t hesitate to take him in still. They gave Rodney lots of exercise, socialization with other dogs and just as an important love like he gets at home. Rodney was really happy and so tired when he got home. We will definitely come here again!!

Our doggy stays with them twice a week for the day and she runs straight in their building tail wagging. She warmed up to them so fast when it usually takes her a long time to warm to new people. They always send the best photos of her during their days together. Overall I'm really happy with their service.

It was all last minute, and a short long weekend stay, but it worked out Ciel and Jared could jump in and help us. While we were sorry not have done the hand-off in person due to a last minute medical appointment, we returned to a clean and tidy home, with bowls of our garden veggies prepped for dinner, and ‘chores’ completed. They sent a couple of photos and texts during their stay which was reassuring. You can tell they are experienced house and pet sitters and we feel lucky to have had the opportunity to go away and leave our "fuzzy buddies”, and our world, in their capable care.

Our dog had a great experience at Ruth & Jeff’s. They were extremely considerate and flexible with our long drive to Whistler from Golden in light of the highway flooding, and Ashley was very communicative throughout. Max made a ton of friends and came back healthy & happy. Would 10/10 recommend.

Ruth’s Pet Hotel is great and the team is lovely. They take amazing care of our pup when we’re away. She gets so excited when we drop her off and comes home well socialized and exercised. I highly recommend boarding with Ruth’s - we never worry when they have our dog. It helps that they post photos to their Instagram account of the dogs having a blast in the yard.

We have been bringing Mr. Walter to Ruth and Jeff’s since he was 6 months old, and he almost 6 now. We are so happy to have a place like Ruth’s Pet Hotel in our community. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and most importantly Mr. Walter LOVES going there. All we have to say is “your going to Ruthies” and he runs to the door with his tail wagging!

Charlie had a really fun time at Ruth's Pet Hotel. It is nice of them to even give him a wash before handling him over to us, he is clean and has been given a bath. Jessie the dog caretaker is awesome! Ruth’s Pet Hotel has a big area for the dogs to run and it is located at the base of mountainous Pemberton Valley, great outdoor location! They also have a dog pool which Charlie enjoyed for sure. Most of all they have very reasonable and affordable rate and quickly responds to inquiries. Charlie would want to come back again😊

Feel very lucky to have found Ruth Pet Hotel during my stay in Whistler. Was able to enjoy skiing knowing my dog was well looked after. The place is well organized, affordable, friendly, stimulating for the pet. She was happy to go back the second day and really enjoyed herself. Slept thoroughly once we got back to the hotel!

My boy Bentley is just obsessed with Ruths and would live there if I let him. They take such amazing care of all the pups and are very cautious about the amount of dogs they keep at once for safety reasons and although it means they book up quickly, I am thankful that they pride safety over too many dogs. He has the tendency to be a little anxious but when we get to Ruths he just goes mental with excitement and he is always so tired on pick up. I know they take amazing care of my boy and I know I can trust them to keep all the dogs safe, exercised and happy. Cannot say enough fantastic things about this place!

Tammy and the TLC staff are the best! I couldn't imagine leaving our pets with anyone else. Jagger had an absolute blast making new friends and I felt great knowing our boy was somewhere he would be treated like one of the family.

TLC Pet Resort in Kamloops has been the most wonderful place to leave our dear little dogs whenever we have gone on vacation. The staff are amazing. They are so thoroughly trained, so exceptionally kind and friendly to everyone and to all of the pets in their care. They are pet owners themselves so understand well the responsibilities of looking after pets as well as the emotional bonds shared between pets and their owners. They are playful and have fun with the dogs, big and small, indoors or outside in the vast, adventurous playground. I always appreciate the watchfulness as well knowing that the staff are alert to anything that arises where a pet might need extra attention. Our oldest and last dog became hard of hearing and partially blind. She was confused at times and needed to be close to people for reassurance. She was given such tender care by the staff for which we are forever grateful. As pet owners we knew that our dogs were always welcomed, safe, happy, well cared for and so cared about at TLC Pet Resort. Thank you, Tammy and staff for all the years of such exceptional care for Molly and Dublin!

Thank you for looking after our kitty. Very pleased all around! The condo was great, with multi level shelves for her to climb on. The facilities are clean, the staff is friendly and caring, we would definitely board her again and will happily recommend!

I just want to share the kindness of the owner and staff! My friend and I were driving back to Kamloops from Edith Lake when we were stopped just ahead of this place due to a telephone pole on fire. The owner immediately welcomed us to park in her driveway in the shade so that we were off the road and away from the fire. She then invited us to use her restrooms, and her staff brought us over water bottles, as it was 30+ degrees! I was so touched by their kindness which means everything these days. Thank you for being so kind and helping us and others 🤍

I travelled to Kamloops to visit my mom who was placed in dementia care; and my parrot came with me for the drive. I contacted TLC to inquire about bird sitting and they welcomed us and took loving care of her so that I could be with my mom. Thank you so much!

Look no further for a boarding facility for your pet...Tammy takes AMAZING care of the animals that stay at this facility. All of the staff are so happy and helpful - it is clear that they love working with animals. Even if I am not going anywhere, I like to bring my dog here for daycare sometimes just because she loves it so much. I love the amount of socialization, outdoor time, and exercise she gets. Such a great and easy experience. Have never left my dog with anyone outside of family before and only a few times but Charlotte was so incredible and made me feel so comfortable. My dog immediately loved her and she was updating me the entire time and sending pictures of their adventures (she knew I was a little nervous). Highly recommend. Will use anytime we return to Whistler and need am extra hand.

WDS is the best!! We come up to Whistler in all seasons and Lola loves to go on long, fun walks with the WDS team, especially Sarah 💞. We can ski or out for dinner knowing Lola is having a fun day. I cannot recommend this business enough! We used Whistler Dog Sitting on two different occasions while visiting Whistler and had a fantastic experience! Sarah is really easy to communicate with and so flexible that she accommodated our last minute sitting request that was less than 24 hours before with no issues. Kate watched our dog-reactive dog on both occasions and was wonderful with him. She took our dog out to quieter hikes and sent us lots of pictures. Our dog came back happy and tired. Overall A+ experience. Look nowhere else for dog sitting services in Whistler. These guys are affordable, know what they do and are the best!

We used Whistler Dog Sitting on our recent Anniversary trip to Whistler. We brought our 5 month old high energy Aussie puppy, but soon found out it was too hard to shop & go out for nice dinners. I called & received an immediate response. Communication was A+! Puppy had never been left before, but happily jumped in w Sarah. Absolutely amazing service w pics sent throughout the day. Puppy went on hikes& playtime w lots of care & came back happy & tired.Pick up & drop off in front of our airbnb was perfect. Only con was the price at $500 For 2 full days. But I do not regret. Sarah saved our vacation!

Amazing service. Great staff and communications. Josh was our walker and came to the Fairmont Hotel to pick up our dog and drop her off on two separate walks. He took pictures of Tia on her walk and was a great communicator, along with Sarah, the owner operator. We will definitely use their services again! Note that they have a minimum 2hour call out. So if your dog just needs to be taken out for a pee, you might as well get a 2 hour walk in at the same time.

We absolutely LOVE whistler dog sitting! Sarah and her team are caring, loving, experienced dog handlers who look after our two fur babies on a regular basis allowing us to ski and golf without worrying about them. They handle our reactive dog expertly and provide the care and comfort needed to make Bailey and Lily super excited to see their sitters whenever they arrive. It warms my heart to see them so excited and looking forward to their day with their Whistler Dog Sitting pals. Highly recommended

We (my husband and I) wanted to thank Whistler Dog Sitting so sincerely for taking such great care of our girl on Saturday (July 8th). We were completely blown away by Sarah's kindness and her genuine care for Bentley. Bentley had arguably the best day of anyone (and it was our wedding day lol). We loved Anna so much! She took care of our 5 month old pup on our wedding day and he had such a great day with her. She even sent us pictures to show his day and picked him up from our hotel and dropped him back off! She even brought him by our venue mid-wedding reception so our photographer could take some photos of us with him. I’ll post some of the photos she sent us of his day. He got to play with puppies and have his own special day while we had ours. ❤️
