Emma and Simon looked after my dog Nala and my mums dog shelby when I got married in the area. They had such a great time. We felt at ease leaving our fur babies with Emma and Simon as it was clear to see that they are as mad about dogs as we are. There was also a Google photo Album shared with us throughout their stay so we could see how content and happy the dogs were playing with Emma and Simons own family and fur babies Would highly recommend hounds on holiday to anyone Thank you Emma and Simon for taking such good care of Nala And Shelby.

We have an anxious Cockapoo, Oscar who I was nervous about leaving to go on holiday, but after visiting Emma & Simon (and their dogs Wanda and Merlin) with Oscar to make sure everyone was happy, we could see they were absolutely committed to ensuring he had the best time while we were away. They ask about any likes/dislikes your dog has, how you like them to be fed etc. In case of emergencies they have your pet insurance and vet info, dogs are apple ID tagged once they arrive for safety(which I found especially reassuring) The great part was receiving photos and messages daily so we could see how he was getting on. Seeing him having cuddles with everyone and lying on the sofa with Simon giving him belly rubs we knew he was happy and relaxed which was great. Absolutely recommend 100%

Emma, Simon and family are such lovely people who truly care and love your beloved dogs! I was so nervous about leaving our dog for the first time when we went abroad for our wedding but they honestly put you at ease. From little messages to photos and videos daily honestly made me smile to see him every day while we were away. Seeing him out on walks, socialising with other dogs and especially having cuddles on the sofa with everyone is just what Alfie needed while we were away.. Definitely Hounds on Holiday!! 100% recommend to anyone!!

Our little Willow (chihuahua cross) stayed with Emma and Simon overnight this week. Willow is blind and diabetic (insulin injections twice a day). It was her first stay away since the diagnosis and then going blind. We were very worried how she would cope within an unfamiliar environment and people she doesn't know. But she managed brilliantly with the excellent help from Emma and Simon. Not only did they look after Willow making sure she was safe, ate her food, had her insulin, but also updated us with photos throughout the day. This put our nerves at ease and allowed us to have a day away for family celebrations. Thank you Emma & Simon for looking after Willow so well. Maggie, Frank & Willow

Our dog Finnley's first stay here and what a wonderful and caring place for him to stay.Hes an old man with diabetes and blindness and was cared for wonderfully and we were so happy that he was safe and had his insulin, but also updated us with photos of his time there, which reassured us he was happy. Thank you both so very much for your kindness.

Our little Westie is our pride and joy and we were reluctant to leave him at a typical kennels. We found Hounds on Holiday and arranged a meet and greet at their lovely home. Emma and Simon were great and took to Rab straightaway. Rab loved the dogs there and had great fun in the garden which backs onto beautiful fields for long walks. Everything was communicated very well and we arranged a trial sleepover. Emma and Simon set up a Google photos share and very actively updated it through the sleepover, which was very comforting. When we went away we were completely satisfied and confident Rab would be cared for incredibly well. We had many daily photos where he was treated like one of the family; exactly what was needed. I cannot recommend this couple enough. Genuine dog lovers who treated our boy like a prince. Would definitely use Emma and Simon again. Thank you very much, Hounds on Holiday. Superb!

Fantastic! Tilly had never stayed away from home and we were apprehensive about who I'd be happy sending her to. We needn't have worried as Emma and Simon really did treat her like one of their own beautiful dogs, we received regular photos of her playing and enjoying her time away with her new doggy friends. We cannot recommend Hounds on Holidays enough we're so happy with by far the best doggy care you could hope for. Tilly had the best time!

Bruce had the most amazing holiday!! We had so many pictures videos of Bruce and his adventures and snuggle time with Emma and Simon. We highly recommended Hounds on Holiday. Bruce had the best time and make so many pup friends.. thank you so much for looking after our boy your amazing xx

My very spoilt pooch was looked after beautifully for one week. Simon and Emma sent me photos every day, gave my dog his medication and treated him like one of their family. I would definitely recommend Hounds on Holiday.

We were staying very nearby and felt a local dog sitter would be an excellent idea. We found Beverley via a google search. The location is absolutely amazing, and our dog (Fred) thoroughly enjoyed his stay. We highly recommend Beverley and Dogs at Hom. We will definitely be using Beverley when traveling/staying in mid/north Wales again :-)

Dogs at home have a fab space for the dogs in a beautiful countryside setting. Beverley was fab to deal with and was brilliant with my dog! We have never left our dog with anyone other than family but felt very happy with Beverley and would absolutely recommend her and use her services again!

Two year old Milo the Maniac has just returned from his holiday at Beverley's Hotel (Dogs at Home) and he has even been asked back! Milo is a headstrong Springer that needs constant attention and hours of play with ball and frisbee. Beverley has coped wonderfully well and Milo enjoyed his 8 day break from us. He has made friends with other dogs there which is unusual as her prefers his own company normally! We feel that we need look no further for Milo's future holidays as Beverley offered all we required for our baby and more. Sandie and I would recommend Dogs At Home to all who need caring, safe and clean accommodation for their pals. Thank you Beverley!

Beverley has looked after boy my Jasper twice over the summer and I would highly recommend. She has a lovely home and there are always other doggos around for him to play with. She has been friendly, reliable and contact is quick. Thank you!x

Rupert my Parsons Russel terrier nearly 15 months old stayed here for 4 days he he was obviously excited to see me for a few minutes , but was super chill in the car back home not stressed one tiny bit . When home he played for a bit then chilled out and slept the day away getting over the excitement of his first ever stay away from me. I would definitely say he was well looked after . Beverly is wonderful. We had our 16.5 year old Cockerspaniel stay with her whilst we went abroad. We picked him up happy and healthy and that’s all we could ask for. Beverly has the dogs in her beautiful home so rest assured they are like part of her family. Highly recommend!!! Luke

Our little frenchie Ziggy had an amazing time, he loved being there and has already been booked back in for our and his next holiday. Truly caring and not a cage or kennel in sight. Doggy’s running around on the garden, looked after with lots of love xx

Cookie & Zena, our two Shih Tzu's, are always pleased to see Beverley. I feel so confident leaving them here, safe in the knowledge that they will be very well looked after. The house and garden is beautiful and spotlessly clean. It is a real 'home from home' environment, where the dogs are all treated as one of their own. Our dog Benji stayed with Beverley for four nights and we knew that he was in safe hands as soon as we dropped him off. The house and garden are secure and perfectly suited to our energetic pup. It was clear that Beverley was capable and caring when it came to looking after dogs and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her services.

Can't rate this day care highly enough. Karin has been a big help looking after our dog with affection and professionalism. Also offering great advice on how to deal with our maxybears issues. I would highly recommend!

We left our Irish Terrier at Dogs at Home for three weeks, having been recommended it by a friend. What an excellent decision! Unfortunately, our dog became very ill due to a pre-existing condition and Karina was ABSOLUTELY wonderful. Sensible, caring, calm and keeping us up to date at all times, even using her excellent local vet too. We have just had the test results back and he is back at full fitness. Karina is not just an animal lover, she has a wealth of experience with dogs, and has exactly the right type of character to look after your dog in a professional and caring way. Anthony

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOME BOARDING SERVICE - We used Dogs at Home for the first time and we couldn’t have been happier with the care given to our two old dogs. They are both on medication, but Karina wasn’t put off by that at all, it just wasn’t a problem for her. Karina is obviously very caring towards the dogs she looks after and her wealth of experience made us feel very much at ease leaving our old boys with her. When we collected them we could see they were happy and well. We will definitely be bringing the boys back to stay.

This was the second stay for our rescue Mr. Darcy. I was nervous the first time we left him with Karina, but he came back home happy and healthy. His second holiday, he was happy to see Karina and wandered off her without any fuss! I am just so happy we have found someone who will care for our boy when we are away. I highly recommend "Dogs at Home", and we love getting our updates of photos and videos. It does our boy good to socialise with the other dogs in day or holiday care. Karina is professional, caring, and experienced in dog handling. Thank you.

I cannot recommend Dogs at Home highly enough. My dog has been attending regularly for day care and overnight stays since she was a puppy and she absolutely adores her time with Karina; always returning home happy, exhausted and content. Karina is really focused on providing a safe, protective and nurturing environment for the dogs in her care and is passionate about their welfare. Look no further for the very best possible care and experience for your precious loved one.

I was a bit worried about leaving our GSD puppy for the first time. Karina has done a fantastic job with caring for our big boy and kept us updated on his well being the whole way through with videos, photos and messages. I will be definitely using this service again. We went on holiday and this was booked before we got our Bear so it only felt right that bear went on a holiday too. I didn’t feel right sending him to an actual kennel where he would be locked away in a cage. He has had the most amazing week and great socialising too. Thank you so much for having him for us and taking such great care of him. He is one worn out pup but he’s had a lovely time. I’m so happy to have him home.

Update 16 months later (April 2023) - our dog was so neclected at Dogs at Home that he is terrified anytime he sees us packing the bags. It looks like poor old boy confidence has been lost forever. --------------------- December 2021 - We left our dog with Karina for Christmas hoping he will have better home than in a kennel. I can not comment how he was looked after as I was not there. Sadly when he was collected his fabric crate had a very strong smell of urine, detected on the drive back home (a very pungent journey!). When we checked inside, we saw that the crate and all of his bedding was full of urine. We had to throw away everything and became really concerned what happened. We called Karina and asked if she has any idea why our dogs bedding was wet and urinated. Sadly, she was unable to provide any explanation, and strongly rejected the fact that his bed was covered in wee. We can only state that upon collection, it was in an unacceptable state, and has caused us serious reservations about the level of care our dog received over Christmas. I don't like writing this review, and it is not something being done for any reason other than outlining our experience.

Parting with our three beautiful fur-babies is always difficult but Karina offers a home from home environment where we know they will be well looked after until our return. The regular photos and videos she sends are lovely touches and reflect the care and attention she gives to making sure the owners, as well as the dogs, are as stress-free as possible. I can highly recommend.

My boy Waffle has been going to Karina for around a year now. He is very attached to me and usually becomes anxious if he cant see me but handing him over to Karina its like I don't exist he doesn't even look back at me as he trots off to his stay. I recieve updates, videos and pictures and Karina is so flexible and has helped me lots at short notice. I'm so relieved I have found Karina as I know my boy is cared for when I can not be with him.

Karina was looking after our labrador Frugo several times now. Never had any issues and we were having a laugh seeing his pictures as he seems to have better holidays than us 🤣 He always looks very happy 😊 …
