Where would we be without Shona. Luna stayed with her last year and adored it... Shona then picked luna up from our wedding recently and once again went above and beyond. Shona...how can we thank you! We couldn't have picked a better person to drive our two beloved Pugs from Aberden to London Heathrow for their big journey back to our home in Doha, Qatar. Shona was very organised, timely, personable and kept me updated and at ease during their entire journey. She sent me lovely vidoes and photos. I never worried when they were in her care as I knew at heart she is a true animal lover and could tell she genuinely cared for our dogs. She liased well with our export company at LHR which took pressure and stress away from me. It has meant alot to us to have our dogs (one elderly) treated so well on such an arduous journey. Thank you Shona!

Our dog stayed with Shona for 18 days this summer and it was nice to see her looking healthy and calm on collection. We left our dog with Shona before for various periods of time. The drop off and pick up times are always suitable for us and our travel plans, which is very helpful. Thank you very much for taking a good care of Lola!

I have used kennel in the past and my dog never came out of it looking happy. This has definitely changed since I found Shona - he is happy to leave me and always comes back home cheerful and in a great shape. Shona is great with dogs, she takes them for a long river/forest walks and let them play in her garden once they are home. I recommend this service from the bottom of my hearth to all dog owners

Wouldn't find a better place or a better person to take care of my pet. Shona is just perfect with dogs! She's so friendly and calm, they immediately respond and trust her guidance. It's the most reliable service one can hope for.

I am so happy that we found Shona to take care of our 11years dog Toto during vacation time. She is a very kind person, has a good understanding of dogs and their habits, regularly sharing photos and videos, so you feel connected with your pet even you are miles away. It feels like our dog had a great vacation too, he is happy and healthy after being one month without us :) Highly recommended Shona if you need professional whom you can trust!!!

My Pug chase loves to visit with Shona. We board with her throughout the year and chase is always happy and content when we pick him up. He really enjoys the walks with the other dogs, we know because Shona always sends us video clips of their adventures. Highly recommend her.

We are very grateful for the service Shona provides for our dog, Cookie for the past 18 months. Shona takes Cookie for a regular walks and also home boarding when we are away. Cookie has develped a special bond with Shona. We are very happy and thankful for the service she provides us.

Genuinely a five star service: We are absolutely thrilled with the service we receive from Shona at Aberdeen Pet Services, from the very first visit, I had a really good sense of how calming she would be for our highly strung but loving cavapoo. Before we met Shona I was extremely concerned about leaving Hamish with anyone, he is a nervous dog and enjoys being part of a family and being cuddled, we couldn’t even consider kennels for him and by luck we found the perfect solution. Reliable, friendly and extremely flexible, we wouldn’t consider anyone else. Hamish always comes home, happy and healthy, well exercised and well fed, what more could a dog need 😊

We moved our 4 dogs & 3 cats from Scotland to Morocco, Shona was a huge help In helping with both transportation & going through the customs in 3 countries, but as an animal lover also she cares. and would recommend her services. I cannot thank Shona enough for her help :-)

We have boarded our Spaniel with the guys at Colliestown numerous times now over the last couple of years and everytime the experience has been great. He goes in really well and comes out in great form. Claire really takes the time to get to know the dogs individually and I have complete trust in her to look after him whilst we are away. Can't recommend them highly enough.

We have used Colliestown Kennels for years now, in all seasons. Our dogs are always happy to go in, tails fully wagging, and come out equally as happy. We have used these kennels for many years and our golden retriever has always been well looked after. The staff have a good attitude and seem to take account of each dog’s needs and personality. We have just picked our her up after a short stay during which they continued her course of eye drops without any fuss. Highly recommend.

First time putting our pup into kennels so we were very nervous about leaving him but staff kept in touch the whole time and sent through pictures of him having an absolute blast! He’s looking forward to his next visit. Thanks again for having him!

Alan had our two dogs Lucas and Toffee for 10 day. Was like a little holiday for them, a home away from home. I would totally recommend for your furbabies.

I phoned at ladt minute to take my dog as I had to attend a meeting next day in Livingston at short notice. He luckily had a space as he is restricted to the amount of dogs he can have. I dropped Minnie our 12year old Yorkshire Terrier off with him at 7am. Picked her up at 6.30pm same day she was happy obviously did not miss me one bit I was very happy with Alan's srrvice and would not hesitate to use him again. His fees are more than reasonable.

This is definitely the best dog boarder/ day carer in Aberdeen. Great service, dogs come home looking happy and healthy.

Alan was unfortunately too full but he sent me a list of other licensed places to try. Top man.

Eileen provides the best dog care we’ve ever had in 20 years of owning dogs. She is amazing and I genuinely feel like our dog consider staying with her as his holiday for the year. It’s also been wonderful for socialising him as he has been very timid after an attack.

We left our two dogs at LPH. It was both their first time staying in kennels. Our Shih Tzu, Hogan is 12 years old and our Cockapoo, Parker has just turned 1. We were quite anxious about leaving both as Hogan is such an old boy and enjoys his home comforts and Parker is a very anxious dog. The team had a lot of patience with both dogs and i feel both dogs needs were catered for. I messaged a couple of times to see how they were getting on and each message was replied to. I even got a wee video. Jo and her team are excellent at what they do. I was flabbergasted that Parker was out walking with a pack of dogs and happily playing. This is something i never thought would happen with him as he has always been so nervous with other dogs. We will continue to use LPH. Excellent service! Jo genuinely cares for all the dogs. Im a happy dog mum!

One star is too much!!! This was our dog’s first experience of a Dog Hotel / kennels. Picked up my poor pup today, after a 6 night stay. They acted although they didn’t know I was picking her up today. She was filthy, skinny, jittery and depressed. None of which she was when she arrived. Even though they stated she would be bathed by the time we picked her up, she was not. The response was they didn’t think she would cope with a bath. No, it was just pure neglect of our dog. We thought that this would be a good place for our dog, this is definitely not the case with this place. I would highly encourage you to go elsewhere for your dog’s sake. They are just out for the money and have very little concern about the dogs in their care. Reply to your excuses- A pre stay event was not offered, also when dropping off you were made aware if you had any concerns about Skye to call us and we would come and get her. You were also told that Skye would be picked up at about 1200 Today. This should have been recorded. You are supposed to be a dog trainer with years of experience. When the guy said he was putting a slip lead on her, no wonder she got upset. She is only used to her harness which had been provided but not used. We would appreciate a refund of the service we paid for but didn’t receive, as per the email. Yvonne McDonald

Our dog has come home after his second stay at Lumphanan Pet Hotel and we would highly recommend here to anyone. He has been well looked after and we have felt really confident leaving him with Jo and the team. On his first stay, Jo really helped us out as he needed to go to the vet a couple of times for an issue he had prior to his stay and she kept in contact with us and gave us detailed updates on how he was doing. We will definitely be booking him in for future stays at Lumphanan Pet Hotel where we know he will be well cared for.

Our Beagle has been back over 10 days after spending 6 nights as her first kennel experience. She was initially nervous but settled and seemed to have a great stay with her pals. Kennels very clean and staff all very reassuring to us. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Team was excellent with our dog and informative chatting with us too. She came back very happy despite having never stayed anywhere away before. I can tell she really enjoyed her stay and was well looked after, socialised and exercised. The photo is her struggling to stay awake after her busy day at Lumphanan hotel.

This was our Cockapoo Harry's first experience of kennels. We started with an overnight stay. He settled well into his new surroundings. We will be booking him in for a number of stays before our holiday in 2024. Jo put us and Harry at ease. The kennels were very clean and tidy and in beautiful surroundings. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lumphanan Pet Hotel.

Our 2 labs rate Lumphanan Pet Hotel 5/5 We’ve just collected them after a 4 night stay & are delighted that they are not sulking! They’re very happy boys & we can’t thank Jo & team enough. The boys are 10 & 4yrs old & have previously gone to home boarding so we were a little nervous about the pet hotel, however our concerns were unnecessary. Jo has also supported me with training the younger lab & I really can’t recommend her enough. Thanks Jo. We’ll be back again.

Harry had a wonderful short stay at LPH the other weekend, as we are going away in September and wanted a few short stays beforehand. LPH is spotless, the kennels are a great size and the outdoor runs are perfect. The entire staff are kind, knowledgeable and excellent at their jobs, we couldn't be happier leaving Harry in such capable hands. Thoroughly recommended.

Our little spaniel, Luna, stayed at Lumphanan Pet Hotel for the first time in Aug 2023. Finding a kennel you love for our wee furry friends is never easy but we couldn’t have been happier with Luna’s stay. We have Luna booked back in at the end of October and will be booking again next year. Would highly recommend, you can tell the guys here love looking after animals. Thanks again and see you soon.

My dogs have just returned from a long stay at Lumphanan Pet Hotel where they had to stay a while as our house was flooded & we were unable to find somewhere to live that allowed multiple dogs. It was a very stressful time however knowing that they were being well looked after by Jo was such piece of mind, she has a wealth of knowledge & experience when it comes to dogs. The kennels are clean, spacious and the dogs are walked in stunning surroundings, it’s definitely a home from home for the dogs. Thanks Jo for taking such good care of the gang.

Our dog Toby has been going regularly for around 2 years now and we wouldn’t put him anywhere else, he loves it and always comes home super happy (and tired), Mark and the team are always so friendly and nice and you are always greeted with a smile.

I didn’t exactly want to write this review considering that it’s negative but I have tried contacting K9 Care on multiple occasions by calling the phone number provided on the website, I have tried on multiple days and different times which they are open and not a single time did anyone pick up or call me back. Quite disappointed as I was looking forward to leaving my dog with them. On the services that they provide I can’t make a comment as I never had a chance to use it due to never having my phone calls answered.

Mark, the owner, has extensive experience with dogs and operating kennels/day boarding facilities. He takes the time to learn the personalities of all his charges and matches them in small playgroups accordingly. It's nice knowing my pup is in a small group and not a giant pack of 20-30 dogs. Since starting my pup at daycare, I've seen a huge boost in his confidence and he's learned how to play nicely and respect other dogs. Highly recommend!

We've been sending our dog there since they opened. He absolutely loves going and always comes home happy and tired after a day of fun :)

I have taken my dog here a number of times and have to say that they are the best kennels I’ve ever used and the owners / dog carers are awesome - Darran & Fay. Massive thank you for all the care and support you have provided me & Rufus. Massively appreciated. I’ll miss you greatly in moving away. This was our first time using Broombrae and we were very happy with it. It's clean, friendly and well run and Darran takes a personal interest in each dog. Our dog can be quite nervous in new situations but was happy and relaxed after his week there. Will definitely use again.

Collected my golden retriever pup today and he was super happy to have been on his holidays at Broombrae. Very clean kennels. Would most definitely use them again for our boy. Very friendly dog kennels, which is popular and fairly busy - we didn't see any other customers but 9 out of the 12 kennels were occupied. There's a good field for the dogs to exercise around and this happens, we believe, twice a day.

Fay and Darran are excellent. Brilliant with our pups and will do there utmost to squeeze you in at short notice. Genuinely care for dogs. Not just after the cash like some kennels. Our GSD's love them.

An excellent kennel run by caring, knowledgeable family. Our 16 week old lab found the experience well to his liking as he was befriended many other gundogs of all ages, correctly fed and exercised. If I have need of kennelling in this area, I would not hesitate to come back to Broombrae. Thank you!

Kennel and cattery run by a couple who loves the animals. Daily/twice daily outing for the dogs and cuddling for the cats. We used their service several times, up to 4 weeks at a time, for a dog and three cats, some of them needing daily medicine, never a problem, excellent care and very reasonable cost. Very very highly recommended

Jan always provides a great service. My cats are always very happy when I return from a trip and I can relax when I'm away from home knowing that they are being well looked after.

Katie has walked our miniature dachshund for 9 years and is impeccable. Down to earth, caring, professional and experienced; she’s perfect. I can’t recommend Katie enough, she’s been more than a dog walker… She’s part of our family.

Great place. No issues and Jimmy loves getting pampered... They pick him up and drop him off aswell which is great as don't drive. He goes every month now for a grooming.
