Jennifer is absolutely wonderful! She watches my two cats whenever I go out of town, and she is always responsive, courteous, and does an excellent job of keeping the cats happy. With other pet sitters in the past, the cats sometimes seemed needy or stressed after we returned home, but when Jennifer watches them they are happy as clams. I highly recommend her!

Jennifer is wonderful. She cares for my two kitties as though they were her own. She is kind, caring, and absolutely competent. The first time I met her, I felt completely at ease, with no doubt that she would take good care of my four-legged family members. One of my kitties is 17, quite frail, and requires daily medication. The other kitty is anxious and his go-to response to just about anything new or even slightly unusual is to bolt. I can tell from the daily videos that Jennifer sends, however, that both of my kitties are quite calm around her--which is a really big deal. I love seeing the videos of my kitties when I'm traveling and I can hear Jennifer softly talking to them, which is reassuring. I'm grateful to have found someone I trust with the care and safety of my kitties because that eliminates some of the stress I feel when I have to leave them. I will definitely continue to hire Jennifer and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for excellent care for their companion animals.

Jennifer has been taking care of our kitties for a few months. She is extremely reliable, excellent with medications, and very committed the well-being of our cats. One of our kitties has GI Lymphoma. She requires feedings 4 - 5 times per day. Her behavior has to be watched to figure out some of her additional medications. Jennifer has been our eyes and ears and we are so grateful for her! I highly recommend her.

Jennifer pet sits and walks our chihuahua and takes care of our 2 cats and they all just love her. When we come home from a trip it’s as though we didn’t even leave. It wasn’t always like that so we’re very grateful for her services and professionalism. She is just wonderful with animals, they took to her right away which surprised us. It gives us a peace of mind when planning to leave town which can be stressful. Jen takes the stress out of the equation! We highly recommend ATPC!

Jennifer is a reliable, friendly and caring professional for our farm animal care. She kept us updated with texts and pictures daily and assured us all was well. We has pigs, llamas, chickens, turkeys, livestock guard dogs and cats. She is our farm sitter.

Jennifer is awesome. Best pet sitter I’ve ever used. She takes care of my chickens when I travel for work (which is often). She’s incredibly conscientious and responsible - she watches out for them as though they were her own pets (the importance of this cannot be overstated!), communicates well and sends pics to me that provide peace of mind, and keeps me up to date on anything that she notices around their coop or my house so that I don’t come home to any surprises. I never worry about my chickens when I go out of town because I know they are in the absolute best hands! Finding her has been a lifesaver because I used to worry all the time and have to reach out to my pet sitters to make sure they were actually showing up, watching out for things, etc. If you’re considering hiring her, DEFINITELY DO IT you will not find anyone better!!!

Jennifer was able to give me an affordable rate for a college student. She took care of my pet bunny Lola for a couple weeks and they had a great time together. When I came back I was happy to see my bunny healthy.

Had the honor of meeting Jennifer Pullen today on social media. She is a condescending, rude and very racial individual. I would never consider leaving any animal with such a person. You shouldn't either!

Our pup Tilly LOVES it here! We have been coming for years and have received nothing but love, care and attention for our dogs. The staff is attentive and we love the updates we get when we return from trips. We live over an hour from here but happily make this drive anytime we are planning to go out of town. There is truly no better place board with ease knowing they will be save and loved on the whole time you are gone.

We have used Whispering Pines since moving to Northern Colorado 4 years ago for daycare, grooming and boarding. We board our dogs 4-6 times per year and they are always well cared for, happy and quite spoiled during their stays. We were recently evacuated due to the Alexander Mountain fire, and when I called to see if they could take our 3 pups on short notice and for an undetermined amount of time, Whispering Pines didn't hesitate in offering them a safe place to stay. It gave us such a peace of mind knowing our dogs would be taken care of in an familiar environment where they are comfortable, and the staff knows their routine. To our surprise, they generously offered us a 50% discount for the 9 night stay due to the fire evacuation. We can't recommend Susan and the entire staff at Whispering Pines enough. Marley, Reggae and Jules say thank you for being the best and they'll see you in a few weeks for their next stay!

Our puppy, Olive, loves coming here! The staff has a great relationship with Olive. She’s a frequent daycare member and we have also boarded her on a couple of vacations. The facility and staff have always been super friendly and have answered any questions we’ve had. Every employee that handles Olive has always been well liked by our pup. We highly recommend this facility to all.

The Staff and Facility are Awesome! I have taken my dogs Sophi and Sanza for daycare and boarding for 6+ years. Also my cats Bonnie and Clyde have boarded there many times. I always know that my pets are in great hands when they are at Whispering Pines! Sanza gets super excited when she knows that she is going to see all her friends at the pet resort!

Whispering Pines Pet Resort is in a word, "AWESOME!" They treat my dogs like they are their own family pet. We have used Whispering Pines since we moved to Longmont 20 years ago. We regularly use their boarding, daycare, and grooming services for our dogs and granddogs. Our current dog, Boone, is a hound/lab mix who has some special needs and idiosyncrasies. Whispering Pines even helped us figure out a treatment for his skin and ear issues. Special shout out to the groomers, especially Dakota. I ONLY use Whispering Pines for bath and nails for Boone. (Any other lab mixes absolutely hate water?!) The groomers have figured out how to comfort Boone during bath. The staff cares enough to find a solution that works for the dog, the owner, and the staff!

We have used Whispering Pines for more than 20 years for the loving care of our dogs. They always take the very best care and graciously offered us a 50% discount during our last boarding due to a local fire evacuation. Thank you!

My dog Stevie loves going here for daycare! After moving to the area I didn’t want a stressful, conventional daycare situation for her as she was used to smaller groups. I love that she gets her own run for breaks. She is always excited to go and comes home absolutely exhausted. Everyone there is very nice too.

Very dissapointed with my pets boarding experience. I have been taking my dogs here for years but this time was the last visit for them. When I arrived for drop off I could hear someone screaming "shut up" repeatedly in the back. Upon arrival to pick up my dogs I was only charged for boarding not daycare which I had requested they be included on. The dogs were not very tired and acting very strange and skidish when they got home. They also smelled like urine and were covered in dirt. I waited a long time for them to leash my dogs and when the employee brought them up the hallway I could hear her yelling " stop it, stop it, stop it." When I saw my dogs they had collars attached to their harness which were strapped incorrectly and very tightly across their chests and made them winper when I tried to get them off. I also dropped off approx. 2 weeks worth of food for my lab which was almost empty and a weeks supply for my heeler That was still a quarter full after 6 days.

We sent Loki, our German Shepherd, on his adventure, and he seemed to really enjoy it! We had a great experience with everyone on the staff, and we even received an adorable report card from his first stay, letting us know he was a good boy!

Victoria is amazing! She was so caring and loving and took such good care of our dog. She gave updates and photos twice a day. We felt so comfortable knowing she was she was so well cared for. We will definitely use Victoria’s services again and highly recommended her for your pet care!

Victoria is the BEST! I never worry about leaving our puppy home alone when I go to work knowing she is going over to take care of him. He lights up when she gets there and is so happy. Victoria sends a report every day with pictures and what they did during her time there. She’s very reliable and we love having her as our dog walker!!

Great with needy dogs! Victoria does a great job with my two dogs, one of whom gets easily frightened. She walks them regularly and I can really see an improvement in my dogs' behavior after having a day out with Victoria! I absolutely recommend her and refer her to my friends. We boarded our two dogs Pia and Buddy at Longs Peak Animal Hospital Boarding for 4 nites when visiting from out of town. I had requested that they be put in the same kennel; the facility didn’t have a double kennel available but said they would put them in kennels where they could see one another. This is important because Pia is an anxious dog. Both dogs go to doggie daycare at home and have been boarded in the past with no problems. When I dropped the dogs off, they asked if the dogs jumped fences. I said no because that has never happened. I asked to see the kennels where they would be staying, and they said no because they were being cleaned. I stressed the importance of them being able to see one another due to Pia’s anxiety. They put them in a “holding cell” and as we were driving off, we saw Pia jump the fence, so we went back in and told them – she was already very agitated. They said she would have to go into a covered kennel; again, I said she needed to see Buddy, but got no confirmation that would happen. I called that night and asked about Pia. They said she was anxious and barking but eating. I called Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I cannot recall if I was able to talk to someone each day (at least one day I left a message that was not returned), but I was told that she was eating ok and seemed fine. I got no confirmation that they could see one another. When we picked them up on Monday Jul 19: • The dog beds we provided reeked of urine. The attendant said they tried to “air them out” but that didn’t help. • Pia was so hoarse from barking that she was unable to bark for 3 days (when she tried, a sickening cough was the sound). • Pia’s R upper canine tooth was broken. I contacted the facility and while initially I got concern, ultimately the facility said that they did nothing wrong and that I could not prove that the tooth was broken there. Of course, I had no idea I would need to prove that my dog had all her teeth before boarding her. I almost daily look at her teeth and I am quite sure this happened during boarding, given that she was possibly placed in a kennel where she couldn’t see Buddy which added to her anxiety. Pia ultimately lost the tooth, which could not be saved. At no point did they contact me, stating that Pia was extremely anxious and that we might consider some sedation. They kept telling me she was fine, when she clearly wasn’t. I do not believe that medical experts actually assessed Pia's level of anxiety - if a dog barks itself hoarse, that is a pretty good indication that her anxiety wasn't addressed. That is definitely unacceptable. Additionally, the beds smelling of urine also indicated that the dogs were not well cared for. Despite the obvious poor care Pia received, they maintained that their facility had no part in what happened, and that they provided a routine standard of care that apparently they are proud of. I think I should have been contacted to either come get Pia early, or to approve a sedative to calm her. I find it hard to believe that Pia's behavior went unnoticed - indeed, the first time I talked with a staff member, they admitted she was barking alot and was anxious. I'm guessing that she barked less as the days went on because she had lost her voice by then. I feel that they really dropped the ball with my dogs, and their refusal to admit any culpability is concerning. I asked for a refund for Pia (and not the $866 dental fee) and they refused.

They work hard to satisfy customers. I have been using them for a few years. Top notch staff. My dog jumps out of the car whenever we arrive. He so happy to be there it kind of makes me sad.

I’ve been boarding here for 2 years and use their vet services. Called today to board again for 2 dogs and was informed that the owners have chosen to charge a fee for supplying your own food during boarding. This is adding another 50$ in cost for a week stay. So I proceeded to ask if they could atleast give my large breed puppy high protein puppy food like their own vets recommended. They said they can only do hill side sensitive stomach. So now I’m forced into this fee just to have my puppy survive the week he’s there and grow like normal. Atleast give your customer basic options for puppy’s and adult dogs large or small breed if your gunna charge them for costing you less money. Hopefully owners adjust this charge or fix the options available or I will take my 600+$ to another boarding place in town that doesn’t do this.

I've had a great experience there. My pup loves the vet staff and office workers, and Doggie Day Care is staffed by wonderful, kind, living staff.

Amazing care for our furbaby, he did a 6 day boarding stay and he loved it! We got him back freshly bathed and even his nails trimed which we didn't expect. He was exhausted, I'm guessing from all the fun! Forever our #1 go to for our pets needs, thank yall so much for caring for him!

Love this company - Had a great dog sitter who was able to get our fearful older dog to relax and warm up to her quickly. While we were away, she kept us informed, the house was clean upon our return, our pets were happy having gone on walks daily and the plants are watered. John was very helpful and responsive to our questions and concerns we had during the process.

My pet sitter was amazing! I have 3 elderly dogs that are active but not wild and I have a puppy who is a wild lil thing. She was able to balance her time to be with all my pups. Took the young one on long walks and cuddled with the older ones. I have one pup who does not understand humans and he is picky on the humans. He loved her! Came right to her when he met her. John has been a great communicator, orienting me to the process, and being quite flexible when it comes to our last-minute needs. Susie has been great with Willoughby. Definitely book ahead, as this service is popular. All my interactions with both the home office and my pet Sitter were positive and professional. Our dogs loved our sitter, Mario. After meeting him ahead of time I felt confident to let him stay in our home and take care of our dogs and my back patio full of plants during 100+F weather. Communication and responsiveness was excellent. Not cheap, but our kids are worth it. Highly recommend!

Working with the office was easy and pleasant in the first place. Mario, the dog sitter, immediately made friends with our two dogs and provided exceptional care for them throughout our absence. Mario played with the dogs, even slept with them. The dogs were perfectly content when we returned. We would love to have Mario sit with the pups again if we travel again soon.

We reached out to Pure In Home Pet Sitting to hire a dogsitter who would stay overnight at our unit. Our dog is quite anxious and reactive to other dogs so it was important that we had a sitter that was very attentive. Our sitter, Kirsten, did a wonderful job taking care of Joey and providing us with frequent updates. We could tell that our dog was really well cared for while we were away and actually enjoyed the weekend! I highly recommend Pure In Home Pet Sitting and Kirsten.

We have used this company twice and both times our pets and our home were very well cared for and all of our requests and needs were met. We had very responsive communication from both John at the office and Taylor, our pet's caregiver. Taylor took great care of the animals and sent us pictures every day. Prices were reasonable. We would definitely hire them again.

This company spent considerable time and patience getting my reviews, talking about jobs, and verifying 3 days ago they had plenty of sitter jobs available. Wrote a letter scheduling a final zoom meeting this morning. Ooops, just shortly before scheduled zoom -- suddenly a letter arrives saying they are now out of jobs, no sitters needed -- long letter redacting all that had been discussed. Since I am a very young appearing, energetic and capable but quite senior citizen, can this be what suddenly changed their status? Have a recording of the principle person reassuring that sitters are needed now. Total brush off, yuck Boulder ageism

Our sitter was very attentive to our extremely active pup and took her on nice, long, walks. We received daily updates with pictures. Our house was also very well cared for. Sheets and towels were even washed and everything looked exactly as we had left it. Great experience.

Kitty cared for my six month old French Bulldog for 5 days while I was traveling. She provided a safe and comfy environment for my little guy at her home. She sent daily text updates, which left me feeling at ease. I recommend giving her a call!

We tried several high-end dog boarding facilities and every time our dog Mia was unhappy. Then we found Kitty and Mia was a new dog. When we went on vacation, it was a vacation for Mia too. She absolutely loved Kitty! Kitty is great with all pets, big and small. She gives them a home away from home with personal attention. We were so impressed with Kitty that we put her in our will to take Mia if anything happened to us. You cannot give any higher praise than that! Unfortunately, Mia has passed away but I can assure you our next dog will be just as happy with Kitty as Mia was.

Kitty looks after my two cats, Angus and Humphrey, whenever we go away. They stay at home and she looks in on them every day. While they can't tell me what they think exactly, they are always in apparently good spirits when we return! Just as importantly, Kitty is a very good communicator, and always lets us know how they are getting on, which is super reassuring. Given I'm also often pretty last minute, and she is always very accommodating - although I'm sure she'd rather have fewer clients as flaky as me ;). Also, the automatic billing system is super convenient. No panicking about needing to leave a cheque when you go away, etc... I couldn't ask for a better cat sitter!

I can't say enough nice things about Kitty. She has been taking care of our zoo since 2012. Though we currently only have 2 dogs, at one point we had 3 cats as well. One of our pooches can be a bit high maintenance from time to time and I feel confident that she handles his personal issues exactly how we would handle them. Kitty is very reliable and trustworthy. We are often gone for 2 weeks at a time and I know our home, animals and plants are in safe hands.

Even though Juliet is more experienced with dogs and cats than with birds, she was very willing to learn how to take good, gentle care of our parrot while we were gone on vacation. Our parrot is 26 years old and a bit set in her ways (stubborn!), but Juliet has managed to do a fabulous job with "our baby". I have no worries about our parrot's health and well-being under Juliet's care when we leave on any trip now.

I travel a lot and I know I can rely on Juliet to take care of my pets when I am gone. She is extremely reliable, takes good care of the animals, always gets in contact if there is even the slightest issue and she has great backup systems in place to make sure no matter what happens, my cats will be taken care of. This was great for my dogs. Juliet came by the house to meet them beforehand, made it very easy for me to drop them off, and took great care of them -- including texting me photos of their activities. The price was also very reasonable. I definitely recommend Boulder Pet Care for dog sitting!

This review addresses the house sitting service as the dog sitting/care was, like other reviewers have stated, good. We were not satisfied with the condition of our home upon returning from our trip as it was not cared for appropriately. Juliet, the owner of Boulder Pet Care was not helpful in resolving the issue. Will not recommend nor use this company in the future.

If you are looking for a good dog sitter that can handle it all, truly cares about your animals, and is a person that your animals will love and look forward to seeing look no further! My wife and i absolutely love using Mary and her company to watch after our dogs, and let me tell you, it isn't an easy task. we have three dogs ranging from an old lab who has trouble getting up the stairs, to a handicappable pibble, to an energetic lightning bolt of a puppy that enjoys long walks, carrying shoes, and digging holes under the fence. Mary is able to keep them all in line and i think the little devils actually enjoy us going out of town so they can see their friend! our Cat also loves Marry and she does a much better job than my wife and i of not overfeeding the hungry little butt! my wife and i love our animals, and we were always trepidatious about leaving town without them. but the great people at Pets' best friend have made us feel unbelievably confident and at ease when we are away from our little herd.

Excellent, reliable service. Mary let's me know how my guinea pigs are doing while I'm away and when I return, the pigs are always happy and healthy. I can't tell you how valuable this service is for someone who has to travel frequently. I can't recommend them enough!
