Dog Sitters in Maulden

My Alaskan malamute Wolfie had been going to Doms for quite a few years now with regular photos and updates of how he was getting on Whilst on holiday, with no warning at all, we would never have gone away, Wolfie took ill. Dom rushed wolfie to his vet. Wolfie was diagnosed with severe gastro problems, internal bleeding and kidney failure. It was a shock to us all. Dom kept me informed all the way. Dom's son Marcus, later took Wolfie to my vets to stay overnight, their vets are not an animal hospital, to continue care. We tried to get flights home for 2 days to be with Wolfie, no joy, it was agony. The next day 29/10/2024, in the presence of my daughter, her boyfriend a friend of mine myself on face time talking/seeing him, he was put to sleep. As you can imagine we are all devastated. I needed to let everyone who look at reviews to check about Lower Shelton Dogs....this is how Dom and his son go above and beyond,,,DONT, send your dogs anywhere else. Wolfie loved going and loved being there with Dom and Marcus. They love/loved him too Thank you so much for what you have done,, we are eternally grateful 🙏 If, it's a big if, I ever have another dog, Dom he will come to you. Vicky

Second stay this week for our dog and once again was not disappointed. I feel so happy leaving her with Dominic as I know she is being taken good care of. We get regular updates to put our mind at rest and she really has had her own little holiday of her own. I really couldn't trust anyone else with her. She is very much looking forward to her next holiday with Dominic again soon. Thank you to Dominic and your team for loving her like one of your own 💚

My Dog Bella who is almost 6 years old attends at Shelton Dogs and this is like her home, she is so settled, happy, loved and cared for by the owners, Dominic, Carmen and Marcus she adores so very much. She loves mixing and playing with all the other dogs that also stay during her visits, and she loves her walks and feed times to, I would thoroughly recommend this company to anyone. 9/3/24 Just picked up our little girl from Doms after her 2 week holiday, a happy hound, loved her time again with the guys.... Shelton dogs are the best, don't take your best friend anywhere else. Thank you for love and care

Our cairn terrier Tara always loves her holidays with Dominic and his lovely family. It really is home from home and all of the dogs are treated with great affection. Tara is always delighted to be visiting and we feel happy that she is safe, secure and having great fun. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

For a couple of years now our dogs have gone to stay with Dom at Shelton Digs when we’ve been away and they love it! They’re happy and healthy when they come home and most importantly, they’re very happy when they go back. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Can’t recommend Shelton Dogs enough! Reggie spends 3 days a week there & has just gone for his first overnight stay whilst we are on holiday. It’s lovely not to have to worry & know your dog is having a great time in the best place. Somewhere where they love him as much as we do, just not sure that Reggie doesn’t love Dom, Carmen & Marcus more than he loves us! 😂

My puppy is my shadow so I was nervous about leaving her anywhere over night. I needn't have been. She had a wonderful time and was happy to see me but not over excited, just content!

We have used Bark and Bounce for over 3 years and we can not fault the service we get. Our dog is extremely happy and is obviously cared for by the walkers. The communication is always good and they are extremely adaptable. Brilliant service

Karen is amazing with our cat Bodie; he loves her visits. She is reliable, professional and always sends us regular updates and photos. We'd highly recommend her!

Fullers ark -Gary Fuller was extremely helpful today, he picked me & Roxy my dog up from home and took us to the vets, then also waited for us and took us home. Thank you so much for everything I really appreciated it

I have a kitten (9 months old) named Milo. Milo is REALLY timid, to the extent of being literally scared of his own shadow! Bless him. Milo went to the vet's in his own 'taxi' and was brought back safely after his surgery. I would DEFINITELY recommend, and use, Fullersark again without hesitation - a BRILLIANT service. We arranged cat feeding by Ruth for a few days and it all turned out really well and is quite economical. We will be using her services whenever we are away and our neighbours can't do it.

I would like to highly recommend Fuller's Ark!!! My partner and I went away for a week and Ruth looked our 2 pet rats! We agreed on a once a day home visit and couldn't have been happier with the service that was delivered. Very professional and discreet. We will be definitely use Fuller's Ark again :)

We recently went on holiday and used Fullers Ark as a service to look after our cat with home visits. Ruth came to meet us and CoCo beforehand and she is a very lovely lady who clearly loves animals. Coco took to Ruth immediately. Coco was very happy on our return and had clearly been well looked after. We will be using Fullers Ark in the future and I highly recommend their services.

This review is long overdue... Gary and Ruth looked after our rescue cat, Blue, for 3 weeks last summer. He's a nervous cat and always runs and hides when we have friends and family visiting. We didn't have him when we booked the holiday, and were a little anxious about leaving him alone for such a long time. We needn't have been... Ruth visited twice a day. She kept us regularly informed on WhatsApp about how he was doing. Yes, he's eating enough. No, he isn't making a mess. Doesn't seem anxious or worried etc. And most amazingly, after one week of visiting and looking after him, she managed to get him to sit with her and be brushed! This is a big deal... Some members of my family have never even seen him, never mind be allowed to touch him! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this service to other pet owners. Ruth and Gary are fantastic with animals; and are lovely, friendly people too! Thanks for reading.

Fuller's Ark are wonderful, and so affordable too. My two dogs love Ruth. When I come back they are always so relaxed and happy.

I have 2 free roaming house bunnies and was very nervous about leaving them with pet sitters. Previously my daughter helped out but couldn't any more. I am very happy with how Ruth cared for them & my home. I can 100% recommend.

Gary and Ruth are wonderful, caring pet sitters who have looked after our German Shepherd for years. They really have been a huge help and we always came home to a very happy dog.

Recently went away for a week. Catteries were all booked up. Decided to try a cat sitting service and Sharna was absolutely 1st class. Will 100% be using again in future and recommending. My cat is normally very wary of people but the daily video updates on my phone of my cat happily playing and purring were very reassuring. Thank you Sharna

Sharna was looking after our chicks and she did an amazing job! She always sent us photos and videos and did take care of them so well. I highly recommend her service.

Sharna looked after our animals, whilst we were on holiday. She communicated with us throughout and kept us up to date with how our animals were doing. It gave us great piece of mind that our animals were well looked after and we could enjoy our holiday, safe in the knowledge that they were happy. We even looked forward to her update, as we of course missed our furry family members, while we were away. Sharna is amazing with the animals and we thoroughly recommend her services!

Incredibly happy with Sharna's pet service! I was very anxious about leaving my dog for 6 days with a sitter but I had nothing to worry about! Sharna's helper Micah was amazing, my dog Yuna quickly warmed up to them and settled down way faster than I thought. I received photo and video updates and could tell Yuna was in great hands. I thought Yuna would be anxious when I came back but she was actually very relaxed, Micah was definitely amazing I don't think my dog even missed me! Really looking forward to using Sharna's pet service again!

Sharna looked after my two cats for the first time. Every day I received photos, videos of my babies. I felt so relieved knowing they are well looked after. Sharna is very kind, friendly and good with animals. I can highly recommend her service.

A bit of a back story for my review! Sharna has been amazing with my cat Clive, she took time to get to know him and noted everything down when meeting him. She did not even sit on the sofa when I offered, she went to sit with Clive on the floor and he was all over her. Clive can be very sweet at times but most of the time he will attack me if he thinks I was giving him a funny look. He was banned from the bedroom as he has a taste for human flesh and will sit upright next to my face and stare at me all night drooling and a few times tried to take a chunk from my face (he was left alone with his previous owner who sadly passed away and unfortunately ran out of food before anyone found him...) yes! There was no absolute confirmation that he did or did not, only an awkward silence when I asked the rescue centre after his attempts of face eatings.... Sharna was brilliant with him and he loved her, she would send videos and updates and you can see Clive may have fallen for her. Sharna is very reasonably priced especially for what you get. I could tell Sharna absolutely adored Clive and he had a twinkle in his eyes as if he was 5 years younger and suddenly acting all cute and nice with her. I asked Sharna to pop over during awkward hours (sometimes very early) and she is completely accommodating. Sharna has very good communication and always gets back to me very promptly. I am glad that I can enjoy my holibobs without worrying about Clive (although I was more worried for Sharna) but she survived. I am not at all jealous of the relationship Sharna has with Clive.... Not at all, even though I am his sole provider and his rescuer. Not at all jealous nor bitter.... Thank you Sharna for being my go to sitter and someone I trust to see to Clive. I can see that Sharna absolutely adores animals and that it is what she enjoys and it is not just a "job" for her.

Sharna helped to look after my kitten while we went away for a long weekend. She made us feel very relaxed that our cat was looked after and her communication was great. She sent lots of photos, great updates and was very detail oriented. Definitely highly recommend! Really happy I found someone I can trust ♥️ big Thank you Sharna! 😊 …

We are really pleased with the great care and attention Sharna has given to our dog when sitting with him. This has enabled us to go for some days out where it's not possible to take our dog along - knowing he's in safe hands and being so well cared for has been excellent. Above all Sharna is a such a lovely person who's easy for pets and their people to connect with - totally recommend her pet services! :-)

Absolutely amazing. I was very apprehensive about leaving Boo and Bear with a pet sitter but after meeting Sharna I felt so relieved that I had made the right choice. She stayed at home with them overnight and I got regular update in the form of pictures and videos. She was so attentive and caring that both Boo and Bear became great friends with her. I will definitely book Sharna again without a doubt ♥️
