The groomers did a wonderful job trimming and caring for my two Maltese dogs. They clearly adore dogs.

We adore Paws 'N Play, that staff is friendly and they take great are of the dogs. My dog is a regular for doggy daycare and I also board him when on travel. He gets excited when we turn on the street because he knows it is time to play with his friends. We've been a regular customer for 2.5 years. They are the only people I trust with my Jersey.

My doggo and I HIGHLY recommend Paws ‘N Play. Dakota is a 2 year-old Labrador retriever Mix and has A LOT of energy. Whenever I pick her up, she is napping the whole car ride home and ready for bed when we get home. All the staff are extremely nice and are amazing at communication! They always let me know how she acted throughout the day, how socializing with other dogs is going, and if she ate dinner or not! I truly appreciate all they do, they truly go ABOVE and BEYOND!! They have birthday parties and even holiday parties (pictures attached are photos provided by the staff from their Halloween Party). I love my dog and I know that when she’s at Paws ‘N Play she’s not only having fun, but she is being monitored to ensure the environment is safe for her and other dogs. If you are considering to bring your dog here, I recommend reaching out to them and at least setting up an evaluation time to make sure they are a right fit for you & that you’re a right fit for them. Dakota goes every week, and its always the best day of her week :)

Been coming here for 8 years now. Initially just my Weim but now both my pups are paws n play family. I dont have to constantly call to check on my fur babies. I believe they have the best interest for all of our pups. They are customer friendly and I love the excitement of my boys when I come to pick them up. Plus I know they will have at least 2 days of quiet time at home after boarding.

I’m new to the neighborhood and I was looking for a good groomer. I found this place by accident. I called and made an appointment for my puppy to get a bath and her nails trimmed. I was highly impressed with the results. She’s been to a few groomers and this was by far the best grooming service she’s had. She smells so good. I will be going back at least bi-weekly.

My dog is older and has never really been away from me. She has separation anxiety, and was very hesitant to stay at the facility. However, the staff was very friendly and super knowledgeable about dog temperaments. They even allowed me to walk my dog to where she's be saying so that she was as comfortable as possible. My dog has been boarded three times and has been dropped off for doggy daycare a few times and she's never had a problem. I definitely recommend.

I was skeptical to bring my small dog in for grooming after I read a review where another dog was injured and nearly died by a dog on their facility. I tried anyway to support a small business instead of a corporate groomer. The first groom was great and they happily rescheduled my pup. However I was then scheduled at a time that actually wasn’t available and I wasted a whole day for nothing because he could not be groomed. Then when I returned they overcharged me for handling without telling me beforehand stating my dog was a cut risk. They charged $30 on top of what his cut usually cost. $30 they charged me without consent. No one communicated in the notes, over the phone, or in person the first time my dog was groomed that he was a cut risk or that there would be additional charge for grooming. Then all of a sudden there’s an upcharge without any previous discussion of cost. Unethical and shady. Save yourself a headache and almost $100 in grooming.

I have two demanding schnauzers and she took amazing care of them. I couldn’t be happier. I’d highly recommend her services to anyone with pets! She sends video and picture updates and that’s always a plus.

Pups ‘N US is AMAZING! I was new to the area and Tay was very welcoming to Donut and I. She is professional and passionate with the dogs. Donut loves her and her family which is her family away from home. Your money is well spent and is military friendly.

Maverick has been going regularly to Pups N Us since she was 10 weeks. It has been a great experience. Tay is always very friendly and you can tell she genuinely cares about all the pups. I highly recommend them for doggy daycare & boarding.

Thank God for Tay!! After loosing my 15 year old Yorkie and getting a 5 month old miniature Poole 2 weeks later I was very skeptical about leaving Jazzy with any one. Tay worked with me due to the fact I was unsure of my travel plans. Jazzy stayed Thursday evening until Sunday evening and threw the pictures I could see she had a ball. Tay is very professional, she sent text with updates and pictures of Jazzy with the other pups! Tay will definitely be my #1 pet sitter

My puppy Scooby suffers from separation anxiety and I needed a daycare that was reliable and affordable, and I went through her page on the neighborhood app and felt confident I could trust her with my lil boy. Also he broke his wrist and I knew nothing about giving him his medication, she showed me how to administer it, and give him his flea drops, cause I’m a new pup owner and green as a tree. Pups ‘N’ US! One word phenomenal! Tay is extremely patient, professional, and caring my seven month old yorkipoo was having a very tough time on day one. He had only ever been home with me so this new environment was challenging for both of us lol! He was barking, smelling her and trying to get to know this new area. This owner literally sat on the ground to sooth and comfort my pet!! not only to ease his mind, but also mine, she is extremely passionate about animals and it shows we have been coming now for over a week and I have seen a tremendous change in my pup! Trust me, your money is very well spent here!! Pups’N’US will continue to be at the home away from home for Bentley and I!!

I absolutely love this company!! The first meet and greet, Kate and her colleague came to meet our puppy and go over in detail what was expected during her dog walks, training, habits etc. She also shadow her colleague on the first few days to make sure it was a smooth transition for our girl. We have been customers for almost a year now. 100% reliable, caring, pay attention to detail and my dog loves her caretakers! The best part is our work is both mental and physically tiring so to come home to a happy tired dog is worth every penny. We absolutely love Kates K9 pet service. All the dog walkers have been great and our dogs love them. The app makes it so easy to request a day and time, make payments and communicate. Kate's Pet Care is without a doubt the best I have had in the area. She is so kind and my cat and dog love her. I never have to worry when I am away that they are not getting the best care or attention, and I always get lots of updates on her app about the visits. She offers a great value for what she provides. I tried other services like Becky's Pet Care and had a few really bad experiences. I have a dog, cat, and a fish tank, and she has taken care of all of them.

Kate and her crew are absolutely wonderful. Very reliable and accommodating; they do their research and are more than willing to give individualized special care for each pet. Travis was excellent taking care of my minipig while I was away, following instructions down to a tee and making sure she got everything she needed. I didn't have to worry one bit. The report cards are great so you know how your pet is doing during each visit.

I found Kates pet sitting service after looking for a long time for someone to watch my pets. I have a dog who is very shy but super sweet and most people are scared of him, and won’t give him a chance. Kates team is super patient with him and it shows. They are very professional and I feel very comfortable leaving my pets with them which is hard for me cause they are my babies. I highly recommend them!!

Boarded my two large furbabies for 15 days while I was on vacation. These folks are phenomenal. Highly recommend. Prices are reasonable, staff is experienced, knowledgeable, and really cared for my pets as though they were their own. They gather very in-depth data on your pet prior to boarding, as well as a face to face visit to determine temperament. Check them out for your day care or boarding needs.

Outstanding Care for Senior Pets! We moved to the area in 2021 and have been bringing our Min Pins, Tigger and JJ, to Southern Oasis ever since. The care they’ve received has always been top-notch. As JJ aged and his health declined, the staff went above and beyond to give him the extra attention and TLC he needed. Their dedication to senior pets is phenomenal. Sadly, JJ crossed the rainbow bridge this year, but Tigger continues to enjoy his stays at Southern Oasis. I know Tigger is in good hands whenever I drop him off. The staff understands his needs as he enters his senior years, and they always greet him with excitement. He’s spoiled rotten during every stay, and it gives me such peace of mind. Tigger has also stayed at their Clinton location in the Small Dog House and has done just as well there. Both the Waldorf and Clinton locations truly go the extra mile to keep Tigger happy and healthy. I can’t recommend Southern Oasis enough for anyone looking for a caring, attentive place for their pets, especially seniors! I can’t say thank you enough to the ownership and wonderful staff that make Southern Oasis great!

I am in tears as I author this review. I was visiting the DMV area for an event and also for work, so my husband and I decided to travel with our miniature Dachshund and board him in the area where we would be attending the event. The website for this establishment was constructed beautifully. The reviews were amazing and the customer service via phone was awesome. I knew this was the perfect place to board my Charley. The required documents requested were a plus for me. It identified just how meticulous this establishment was. Loved, loved the detailed questions that needed to be answered. I even had to get Charley an influenza shot so he could be boarded there. I see why it was required. Arrived at the facility and oh my gosh what a BIG disappointment. I had a bad feeling when we were directed to a dirt road but just figured it would all come together. It never came together. I should have did a map view of the area. As we parked, we saw all the man made boards to construct the establishment and was very reluctant to get out. Walked inside with my Charley in my arms, requested a tour and my eyes could not believe how this could possibly be a pet resort.Tiny dogs in crates in this tiny room that were literally so tight together they could paw each other. Did not see windows, feel or smell any freshness to this 2x5 area. Oh lord and when I asked where else would Charley be, I was introduced to the outside. I ran for my Charley’s life and mine. My baby would not have survived there. I have never in the 10 years of boarding Charley seen such a —can’t find the words. I am still in disbelief and truly not understanding how owners could leave their furry love one in a place that simply looks unhealthy. In tears. Thank God we were able to find a safe and healthy place to board our baby. It was worth the extra hour drive and money for a peace of mind during our stay in DMV area. I pray all who decide to board their babies at this facility, that they are safe and remain healthy.I did not take any photos.

I love Southern Oasis Pet Resort, and so does my dog Pippin. She literally runs to the van when she sees it, and this is a dog who can sense when I am taking her to the vet and shakes in fear the whole car ride. The staff is comprised of true animal lovers. I really love my dog, but I‘m not one of those people who loves every dog - I do not fawn over strangers’ pets. At Southern Oasis Pet Resort, every staff member is a person who loves ALL dogs. I almost feel like they love my dog more than I love my dog! :-) I have had babysitters for my children that have given me much less detailed reports of what they did with my kids than Southern Oasis Pet Resort gave us of Pippin’s time and activities with their caretakers. Their pick-up and drop-off service is fantastic and staffed with equally caring and attentive people. 5 stars!

Update: Management called immediately after this 3 star review. I appreciate the sincere apology and willingness to make my overall experience enjoyable moving forward. My first experience with daycare was positive. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions. This experience was very different. I walked in to drop off my fur baby, the young lady at the desk was very polite but the young man seemed irritated that another dog was coming in 🤷‍♀️ he stood up, let out a sigh…… I asked was everything ok? He looked at me, never answered and walked away. I was going to cancel BUT didn’t want one person change my opinion of this place. After a day, something didn’t sit right with me. I canceled my trip and picked up my fur baby the next day vs letting her stay 3 more days.

I'm a first time dog mom to a baby Chihuahua/Yorkie name Kobe, and I needed last minute assistance with him because I was going out of town for 5 days. It was my first time leaving him and I was super nervous. They made me feel super comfortable at drop off. They were very professional, caring, and I love how fun and festive their business is (from outside to inside). When I came back to pick Kobe up, they gave me a portfolio of pictures of Kobe they took and put together while he was in their care. They also gave me a bag and inside was a toy for Kobe, and a welcome packet full of information, and a few coupons. You can truly see through their pores that they love and adore dogs, and Kobe loved every minute of being there. I am very pleased with their service, and overall I will HIGHLY recommend them.

My fur babies were so happy! This was my first time leaving my pets (dog and cat), and I was very apprehensive. Dee totally eased my fears. The kennel was clean and bright. There was lots of room for my dog to play in the yard. My cat had a pretty spacious area, too. I could tell that the attendants really love working with animals. They were gentle, patient, and professional. Dee sent pictures of my pets, which was super nice because my kids were missing them. I'll happily use this kennel again and recommend this place to anyone and their pet.

They treated my dog very well which is very important the only thing that I didn't like was the payment process. I had to correct her on the amount because she tried overcharging me. Then, they say military discount on their website but they have to copy your military ID which is illegal. She said there was no other way even though I told her it was wrong, so obviously we didn't let her take a copy. That just left a sour taste in my mouth about the place.

My Mom's Dog Obi loves this Bef and Park. My husband and I sometimes take Obi to the resort. Beautiful place lots of room and great care takers working their. Very professional and kind hearted people 😉! Obi gets so excited when we arrive just like a kid at a carnival. I recommend this place to all 🐶🐕 Dog lovers. Awesome place the staff are excellent

Southern Oasis is awesome and their staff is excellent. I went to tour their facility and explained to Ms Paula how my dog was a senior and this would be her very first kennel stay. Without hesitation, Ms Paula offered me her personal cell phone number and told me I could call at anytime and check on my beloved dog, Precious (15 yo dachshund). She also said that if she was working she would put her on FaceTime with me. That was so sweet of her and at that point my anxiety was relieved and I knew the perfect place for Precious! During my vacation, Ms Paula texted me random pictures of my dog and gave me updates! When I went to pick her up after 5 days, I was given a bag that contained treats, pamphlets, important information and most importantly, they gave me a summary report to include what she did daily and pics. I’m so pleased that I chose Southern Oasis! I planned to use them for two more upcoming vacations this summer.

Stacey is the best sitter ever! Hera is always so happy to see Stacey! She treats my girl as if she’s her own. She works training exercises with Hera, Feeds her, and makes sure she gives her extra extra love when my boyfriend or I are not there. Stacey makes sure you get updates throughout her visit which I love! Forever grateful for Stacey! I will forever recommend her!

Stacey is always our first choice when we need a dog sitter! Both of my dogs have the best time with Stacey every single time they are with her. My girlfriend and I both work full time. She is also a full time student. We just rescued a pretty pit from the shelter and knew we would need help during the week - having Hera let out, fed, walked, and loved. My mother treats us as she would any client; she is always on time, shows ample love to our new fur baby, and even gives us notifications for when she is headed over and updates on how Hera is that day. She has even taught Hera new tricks! 100% recommend her business… one of the best in the area.

Stacey is an amazing dog sitter. She was so good with our doggies. She came out and met our 2 babies before watching them. She sat in the house and got to know them and took them outside and they definitely got to know her. She messaged me updates and sent me pics while she was at the house. She is very professional and friendly. So glad we found her. We feel so comfortable being able to go out of town and not have to worry about our babies being taken care of. We have an indoor/outdoor cat and a couple times a year we go on a weekend trip. C-PUP has always provided great service for our critter and has always been there, even on short notice. They feed our cat, top off or change the water, clean the litter, give some pets and playtime, email us a picture of our cat, and bring our mail and packages inside once a day. They've taken care of our cat when we decided to leave her in the house or outside. They have also kept our garden alive during summer trips by watering for a little extra charge. I would highly recommend C-PUP! We have used their services a couple times a year for the past 5 years or so.

We've been working with C-PUP for dog walking and dog sitting for over a year now. If you are looking for a walker or in-home sitting service, I'll assume that your fur family members are incredibly important to you and you want to make sure they are getting the best care possible. C-PUP provides just that. They are incredibly professional, well-organize, thorough and meticulous when it comes to understanding what your pet needs for care. We have three dogs of various ages, including a senior dog that requires extra-special care and C-PUP is incredibly attentive to all of their different needs. They are wonderfully communicative as well, especially during over-night pet-sitting. Your fur family will be in wonderful hands with C-PUP.

Over the years, all of our cats have been well taken care of by C-Pup. They are a pleasure to work with, trustworthy, and they always keep us posted (text msg and e-mail) on how things are going with our fur babies. Also, for us what is very important is that they are a local neighborhood business. Being local means being able to provide their services quickly.

I LOVE C-PUP! We have used them over the past few years and they are fantastic! Shannon (owner) is very professional, thorough in interviewing dog(s) owner(s), getting detailed information on what the needs and desires are of owners and pets!!! She is incredibly organized and meticulous in ensuring that pets and owners may leave each other with an easy mind. All of her staff have been generous, patient, lovely people who treat us (humans and pets) with great care! A detailed report card is left at each visit outlining the activities our dogs performed, their affect, and notes on the overall visit. We have traveled and used C-PUP for home stays and also as a dog walking service. Our dogs have become so familiar with C-PUP staff that it's as if another family member is with them. Wonderful, wonderful people and service. I can't say enough good things about Shannon and C-PUP! I recommend them to anyone and everyone expressing an interest in pet services. Our dogs love them; we love them!

They've been very easy to work with for both their dog walking services and their pet sitting services. C-PUP is super responsive, and incredibly flexible when plans change at the last minute. C-Pup is fantastic! We had someone stay overnight with our pets while we were gone and she did a great job. Typically when I go away I worry about our pets, but with C-Pup we got frequent updates and I knew they were in good hands. When we arrived home our cats and dogs were well-adjusted and excited to see us. I can't imagine going on vacation and having anyone else stay with our pets. I highly recommend C-Pup.

The team at C-PUP has been taking care of my Golden Retriever, Breeze since we brought her home 4 years ago. While my husband and I worked in full-time jobs during the day, we had multiple scheduled walks for her energy level. During that time, Breeze was so well cared for and loved, just as we would have done if we were there. As I transitioned to full-time work from home, I now call on C-PUP for our overnight sitting needs. When we go out of town, whoever stays with Breeze loves her just as much as we do. They provide detailed notes, pictures/updates and take care of any worries we have while we're away. I would recommend any of their services if you wish for your pet to receive the highest quality of care when you can't do it yourself!

We've been using C-PUP to look after our cats for several years, and we've always had an outstanding experience. We get email updates once or twice while we're away. We arrive home to find a written daily log of feeding, meds, visits, etc. I can recommend them without hesitation.
