The first thing I do when i book a vacation is to check with Leashrly Life to make sure Jean is available to take my Cavalier King Charles, Daisy. If you're looking for peace of mind while traveling then I can't recommend Jean enough. She's simply amazing! I was so impressed with her thoughtful questions and attention to detail during our initial meeting and I loved the daily text check-ins and pictures she provided while I was away. I feel so lucky to have found her! I have also used the dog walking service on occasion and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pets. I checked them out because entrusting both my home and my four legged kid to just anyone wasn't an option. They are bonded and insured unlike some other services and the Leashrly Life walkers come with years of professional experience. Leashrly Life has an online portal where you can communicate with your dog walker, book overnight stays, include vet info, special needs, etc. You always get photos of the day's activity. And my Daisy absolutely adores them and comes home tired and happy.

The team at Leashrly Life is the best I've ever found to work with! My Boston Terrier, Maxwell first met the Leashrly Life when he was a pup looking for training! Now at the age of 13, Maxwell is blind and requires special attention. I completely trust the walkers and sitters from Leashrly Life to take the extra steps needed to make sure he is comfortable, happy and safe. Maxwell has enjoyed many walks and many vacations with Leashrly Life and is always well cared for. Someone is always available to help, they've gone above and beyond others in the field and you can tell they are caring individuals who truly love animals. I highly recommend working with this group!

We hired Leashrly Life to walk our two Jack Russell Terriers Dallas and Lucy when we moved to Walpole from Cambridge. We have been impressed with the service and professionalism which is above and beyond any services we used in Cambridge. Anytime we have had something come up last minute they have been responsive and accommodating. Andrew has been so patient with the dogs as they transition to life in the suburbs and as we navigate the aging of Dallas who is 15 now.

We were fortunate to find Leasherly Life two years ago when we moved to Massachusetts with our dog Odin. We appreciated the meet and greet with the staff and our walker, Wendy, prior to starting the service. It helped us feel comfortable that we were in good hands and it was apparent the two would get along. Walks with Wendy were instrumental in helping Odin transition through a new baby in the house and she’s now getting him back into a routine after a hiatus during the pandemic. When we do start going back to the office, we know she’ll take good care of him. We love getting updates and photos and have enjoyed getting to know Wendy ourselves!

We have been using Leisurely Life for the past year to keep out 2 energetic labs busy during long work days. You can easily adjust your schedule on their website and they are very responsive. Jessica, our walker, has been great with our pups and handles their antics. She shoots us quick texts to keep us informed about what they were up to. We feel great about having our dogs with them.

Tommy is amazing. He was charged with checking on our two cats (one of whom requires meds twice daily) and six chickens while we were on vacation. The cat requiring medication gave him a run for his money, but he finally won her over by going out and getting tuna to entice her and get her to accept meds from a stranger. He kept us posted all along. My coop was immaculate when we returned, and the girls were happy and healthy despite extreme heat. He really went above and beyond. Highly recommend Leashrly Life. Our animals were in great hands.

Most importantly, the place is super dirty and smells so strongly of urine it is unbearable. The smell permeated my dogs' coats so much I had to bathe them the moment I got home. The place needs a thorough disinfection, as the Renuzit air fresheners displayed about just don't cut it. Also, Customer Service is awful. The Manager Kelly is an extremely rude person. Did not wish to engage in an argument but she obviously has a massive attitude problem and seemed relentlessly intent on it nevertheless. If you have questions about your bill, for example when you were not informed of the fact that they charge you not only a boarding fee, but a daycare fee as well for every day your dog stays overnight (hidden fee that is usually included in boarding charge everywhere else) forget about getting an straight-forward answer. The young girls who work there are very friendly, but could not answer why I was charged like this, (girl on phone said she was relatively new to this) and said that she believed that the invoice was entered wrong and deferred to her manager who wanted to handle it herself the next day- even after I offered to pay it then regardless. The charges were not even the issue, as if this is their policy, so be it, I was not trying to get out of paying what I owed. My problem is with HOW it was handled when the manager got involved. I did not have time for Kelly's condescending attitude and asked her multiple times to just take my payment, but she just wanted to tell me all of "my mistakes" and call me a liar. Needless to say it will be the LAST TIME I bring my dogs there. .

I was in a bind to find a place to take my 1 year old puppy after my I initial plan fell through so I started researching. I contacted dog barn and within a day they called me and asked a few questions about my dogs behavior and got her in their calendar for boarding. I was so grateful. They have extremely convenient hours so you can pick/up and drop off around your schedule and most importantly my dog clearly had an amazing time and I’m planning to bring her for daycare more often !

My Dog loves the Dog Barn so much she doesn't even want to come home! These folks love animals and it shows... From the minute you arrive the staff is incredibly helpful and I have a wonderful sense my dog is going to be treated well. Nice to know people who love pets!

I had appointments for noon and 1pm — booked well in advance — and my dogs were not groomed until 5pm. They killed an entire Saturday. And they had the audacity to charge me for daycare for the wait time!! Grooming services are basic, nothing special.

I wouldn't bring my dog anywhere else but here. Very accommodating even on short notice. The staff is very friendly and knows us by name now. My dog, who is very shy, seems to enjoy going here. Highly recommended!!

If you are traveling or want to get your dog groomed there is no better place than the Dog Barn. The staff is passionate about caring for dogs, and your pet will come out with a beautiful coat.

The person at the front desk was extremely rude and swore at me multiple times. In addition, the groomer left the dog unattended on the grooming table to have a conversation with the front desk, extremely unsafe and unprofessional!!

Delightful jusy like the name

I cannot say enough about Puppy paradise. This is my pup, Willow second home and the owner Carol is her second mom. She takes immaculate care of my precious puppy when I need to be away for work or my daughters volleyball schedule. I can always count on Carol and her team at any given moment. My Willow loves going and he’s always well fed and clean when she comes home. I never worry when Willow is here and I always know she gets LOTS of playtime and lots of attention and love! Highly highly recommended!

I have been bring my dog Biscuit to Puppy Paradise for 8 years. When we go on vacation, I don’t worry because I know Carol is taking care of my dog with the same care and love that I would give her. She sends us videos and pictures regularly so we know she is healthy and having fun. Carol is very strict about not accepting aggressive dogs and the dogs are never left unattended. She has wonderful staff. Puppy Paradise is not your typical doggy daycare. I honestly feel like I’m dropping Biscuit off for her to have a vacation too!!

Carol has been taking care of our dog babies for years (8+)! When we got our second dog four years ago, she was so shy and skittish and I worried we’d never be able to leave her! We had her go to Carol’s doggy daycare to get some socialization. Carol and the staff worked with her to make her comfortable. Now she and her older brother both love going to Puppy’s Paradise for their own vacation when we are away. Carol always sends me videos too, which the whole family loves and looks forward to when we are apart from the dogs. We get to see how they are loved and see them playing with all their doggy friends. It is truly wonderful not to have to worry about the dogs when we travel!

Carol and anyone we've interacted with at Puppys Paradise is delightful! Bow is the sweet little baby of our family and we have a hard time trusting her anywhere but Carol has eased those fears for us. Bow gets so excited when we pull up to drop her off and we get photos and videos of her days so we see how much fun she is having! The communication and ability to help accommodate when we need help is second to none. I have nothing but 5 star reviews for Puppys Paradise - highly recommend!

Recently boarded my pomeranian here and it was an excellent experience! Great communication and my dog came back home happy and healthy. Will definitely be coming back for any future trips

My King Charles cavalier went there recently three nights picked up in fourth day . He is not fixed and I did disclose that and I was told he knew his boundaries and was a good pup and great addition. I was then told owner going away Wednesday and son would be there when I pick him up Thursday and 430 pm I picked him up he was dehydrated and black clumpy stuff hard as a rock under his stomach area and was told to fred him dinner .. nose dry face very dry and so much more . Took me hours to get him somewhat relaxed. He will not be going there again .

Puppy Paradise is a dreamy place for dogs to stay. The grounds and home are a well thought out, clean, and spacious place for pups to play, frolic, linger, and rest. Carol is one of those dog whisperers who understands each dog & appreciates their individual personalities & needs. She has created a special niche for small to medium dogs to hang out together happily. Keeping to specific pick up times and drop offs allows for my dog’s day there to always go smoothly. That being said, Carol is flexible when necessary. My boy goes to Puppy Paradise eagerly every time I drop him off and returns with a noticeably peppy & contented demeanor. Best of all, when I am away I am certain my pet is in great hands!

My little dog missy goes to carol regularly for almost 3 years since we moved to Norfolk . She is a timid dog who is quite scared at times but she loves running into carols every Friday and we love sending her she socialises with similar dogs . Carol is very accommodating if we need to pick up an extra day or we need an over night stay . I highly recommend.

My rescue puppies Lucy and Dolly started daycare when they were just a few months old, now they just turned one. My Lucy was very skittish when I brought her home, bringing her to daycare with socialization has made her adapt to new surroundings. In the morning before I drop them off I say, "going to Carol's" and yes they run to the door. They are always excited to run into daycare when I drop them off. Carol takes great care of my dogs. I have boarded my dogs and worried about being away from them and had peace of mind knowing they were safe and being well taken care of. Finding Carol and Puppy's Paradise has been a godsend for me.

Our cavachon Ruby loves going to Puppy Paradise. She’s been there for the day and has boarded as well. She’s always excited when she gets there. And Carol does a nice job of sharing photos and videos of her playing.

We love and highly recommend Camp Bow Wow! Tucker is always excited at drop-off and comes home happily exhausted after a full day of fun. When we need to board him, we have peace of mind knowing he’s in great hands. The staff is incredibly friendly and truly cares about their work. Jamie and the team go above and beyond to make Tucker feel welcome and loved!

My husky pup Milo loves Camp Bow Wow in Bellingham. He isn’t a talker but always yelps when we turn the street corner. Being from out of state and signing him up was so easy even with all of my schedule changes. They were able to accommodate us and were the friendliest bunch when we arrived. The facilities are clean and the app is a breeze to use. I even called in to book one day and they were accommodating. Love Camp Bow Wow!

Poor customer service. Owner lacks empathy and did not appear to care about helping when my dog was bitten at the day care and the attacking dogs owner refused to cover the $3000+ in vet bills. Owner was unsympathetic and cited contract that I signed releasing the daycare from any liability. It appeared as though her primary concern was not to be held responsible (despite my requesting help holding the attacking dogs owner accountable and not the daycare).

My dog loves going to Camp Bow Wow, the staff are really attentive to our dog. I feel safe knowing I he is well taken care of. Highly recommend this place! Awesome staff!!

My puppy is not quite 8 months old. I looked around for the best care and found it in Camp Bow Wow! I can monitor him on video, which I did, but don’t have to anymore because I know he’s getting all the love and care he needs! Thank you Camp Bow Wow!

We love camp bow wow for day care and overnight boarding. Our dogs are always happy and the staff really knows each dog!

Very friendly staff. They have cameras so you can see the dogs all day. A bit pricey but you get ehat you pay for. Will absolutely use then again to board our dogs when we go away.

Our dog is always happy to be there and it's nice to be able to take a peek at him on the webcams while we are away. The staff is always friendly and caring and seem genuinely happy to see our dog.

Managing a Great Dane is no ‘small’ feat, thankfully we found Jane! We’ve tried a bunch of dog walking/overnight options for Serc, but none of them can match the care and attention Jane gives him. Her flexibility to our schedule and reasonable rates only make the decision to continue to use her services easier. If you are looking for someone who will love your dog as much as you do (maybe more), look no further than Jane of Bark!

A great dog walker who is passionate is hard to find. Jane does a fantastic job, and really cares about getting your dogs the exercise and care they need. She has only been over a couple times, but my dogs love her and give her an amazing greeting whenever she comes over.

Jane watched my 110 pound power house Rhodesian ridgeback, Delilah while I was out of town for the week. She sent photos everyday as well as updates. She was very accessible and very responsive to further pet care needs. Her calendar was fully up to date unlike other walkers I tried to contact. She responded to my service request promptly and seemed to genuinely enjoy meeting delilah. I would definitely recommend Jane as a reliable and caring dog walker. She did a wonderful job and I could not be happier with her service.

Jane has been wonderful with Hercules - she truly cares about him and their outings, the socialization has been great. We know when Jane arrives as Hercules goes a little bit crazy-happy to see her ! Hard to keep him in the house when she leaves so we know he enjoys their outings!!

Have used Northeast Kennels for 10 years and could not be happier. My dogs love them and they genuinely care for animals. The grooming is also excellent and my boys look so fetching in their bandannas!

We left our pups there for 2 weeks while we were overseas. The pups were treated very well (based on their behavior - they were very happy and playful while there), and the staff were very nice and patient. Will definitely use them again!

Our dog, Penny, was kenneled at northeast for 15 years when we traveled. They are unbelievable.. When we got the leash at home and said "kennel", she ran us over to get in the car to go. So sad at what happened on the south shore, but no worries about Northeast Kennels. they are all wonderful Jay Swanson

I brought an older cat (18 yrs old) on short notice to Northeast Kennels. He had six months before been imported from Sardinia. The staff was helpful and patient in figuring out what shots he had that were written in Italian on his passport. When we brought him in there were other cats, but when we called we were told he was the only guest cat there, which meant that he would get more time to roam the cat room, with the toys and scratching posts, etc. The staff, instead of getting annoyed, seemed to find Vivaldi's appetite and his habit of calling out for food humerous and commented on it both by phone and when I picked him up. His stay was just under two weeks, but he seemed happy and content and had even put on some pounds. In fact, he now has a better eating habit and we can leave food out without his eating every ounce of it! Vivaldi was clean and didn't smell bad when I went to rtetrieve him. So, I am very happy with the place. I used it because it was nearby.

I would not recommend this kennel to anyone. My dog comes home depressed, fearful, sloppy (appearance). Just picked her up, was told she ate her food that morning but seems impossible because come to find out she has a huge cut which led to an infection on her tongue. Also no cameras. DO NOT GO HERE.

For boarding and grooming our dog , I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Unlike many of the overpriced alternatives, these people know dogs and how to take care if them.

I have used this kennel for two of my dogs. I am happy with the care they got here. My dogs always came home happy.

The absolute best pet care service in Boston! I have used Happy Pet Care for cat visits for years now and they deliver first class service every single time. They took dedicated time to understand my cat's personality and needs before their first visit and I love that I get pictures of him and updates for each visit. Each time I come home I can tell he was very loved and had lots of play time. I truly can't recommend this service enough and am incredibly grateful for them all!

Happy pet care took care of my cats while I went away for a few days. Mary was very quick at communicating and setting things up smoothly and efficiently. The cat sitters were great, giving me daily reports with pictures which made me feel confident they were very well taken care of. I came back to kitties that were happy and healthy. When I lived in Fenway I used to use Rover for all my pet sitting needs. But it was a pricy service and I had to do a lot of research and vetting when choosing someone who would look after our small dog. I moved to Brighton during the pandemic and have since relied on Happy Pet Care for all our walking and sitting needs. Mary, the owner is extremely good at communicating. She is quick to schedule us in even the night before (so sorry Mary). We set up autopay so I don't have to worry about the hassle and with fixed rates every time I know exactly what the cost will be upfront as opposed to Rover which can charge me different rates depending on who is working. Happy Pet Care did increase their prices during the end of the pandemic to adjust for the rise in cost of living. I appreciated the transparency about the cost increase and the sensitivity with which it was communicated to me. I would also like to personally recommend Debra, who has cared for our dog multiple times. I feel that everyone at Happy Pet Care gets to know my dog, and seeing the same people get to know her makes me feel secure that she is in good hands and that she can recognize who is caring for her without the added stress of meeting a stranger. Happy Pet Care is a great small business that we can rely on. I have been recommending their services to new dog owners in the area and I would certainly recommend them to you.

I needed a dog walker in Brighton for our new rescue and came across glowing reviews for Happy Pet Care. They are professional, super flexible, and really care about your pet. Mary is very easy to work with and very responsive. Our first meeting was with Jen and she was great with our dog and asked all the right questions. Sean was our main dog walker and he was so caring with our dog - she is 12 years old and he never got annoyed with how slow she needed to walk. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the level of quality care you get. We will greatly miss their services in the suburbs!

We've been using Happy Pet Care for dog walks 2-3 times per week since we adopted our lab mix puppy (now over a year ago). Mary is always so responsive, kind and flexible - which is so important when you have a dog. There have been multiple occasions where we need to switch days, length of walks, or add on an additional walk. Mary has almost always been able to accommodate us! Our walker is mostly either Sophia, Jen, or Mary herself. My pup can be nervous around new people when her humans aren't around, and they have all been wonderfully patient with our pup. We could not ask for a better, more reliable, patient, understanding, and kind dog walking service. We've had Mary, Sophia, Jen, Matt, and Debra walk our pup - and they've all been great. Mary is always very responsive, and easy to work with, even with last minute changes. Additionally, her prices have not gone up, while other services we use for our pup have. The dog walks are high quality with a great price, and a lot of flexibility (because life happens). We're sad that our pup won't have them for her mid day walks while we're at work after we move.

I spent two weeks out of town and Lisa from Happy Pet Care came by my apartment twice a day to look after my rabbit, Auggie. I've never left my bun alone for a such a long time and was initially anxious about the separation, but Lisa was wonderful in every way. First, she had previous experience caring for her own rabbit, which was important to me because rabbits are nonverbal creatures and require someone who is familiar with their signs of illness or distress. Second, she sent sweet text and photos updates of Auggie twice a day, and it was apparent that he was both happy and comfortable in her care. Third, Lisa went above and beyond in caring for my bun--she weathered fierce storms to check on him, doted on him with his favorite salad greens, arranged a last-minute emergency visit when my flight home was delayed, and showered him with so much affection that not once did I worry about Auggie during the two weeks that I was gone. Can't recommend Happy Pet Care enough, and Ms. Lisa especially! She's my go-to gal from here on out whenever I'm heading out of town.
