I am beyond impressed! Incredible customer service and I could tell they really care about the animals they see and their well-being. I appreciated that they asked about vaccination history and had paperwork to go through. Very thorough. Nichole sent me videos and pictures of Wally while he was there which I LOVED. I also appreciated how Ramon asked me if I wanted anything adjusted when I went to pick up Wally. You can tell he cares about the artistic side to grooming. Wally and I will be back!

I was really pleased with the love and care my dog, Honey, received during our visit. The groomer was patient and understanding of Honey's energy and made sure to calm any nerves she had. She was friendly and helpful. I was amazed at how well she handled Honey's wiggly antics and not being able to stay still for more than 3 seconds. I was really appreciative of the safety measures and techniques the groomer used in her care. I will definitely be bringing Honey back for more visits and recommending SoPaw to my friends and family.

I have been getting my son’s, Vernon- basset hound, toe nails cut by this wonderful couple for a while now. I am so excited they have opened their own place. To have a small business that will come to your house, love on your dog, remember his name and be absolutely professional and courteous is rare these days. I don’t trust anyone else with my Vernon.

They took exceptional care of my yorkiepoo. I am a nervous wreck when it comes to grooming my furbaby. They showed him patience and the upmost care. They are hard working, honest, clean, and detail oriented professionals. I feel they priced reasonably as well. I recommend them!!

We have three fluffy dogs...one is a breeze, the other two are... difficult... We've had to switch groomers twice because no one seemed to be able to handle large, exceedingly hyper dogs. Luckily, SoPaw has been able to handle our furbabies(monsters) with ease. I don't know what their secret is, but they were able to relax the beasts long enough to do their work. Such a great find.

The owners of this establishment are true dog lovers. They will tell you like it is and back the dog before backing the dog's owner. THAT should be why you choose them!

If you are looking for a groomer or daycare...look no further. Barks and Bubbles is amazing. I have two Maltese. They love going there for their spa day! They get to run around with the other dogs instead of locked in a kennel until I pick them up. They always look beautiful when I pick them up!

We had a great experience here and will definitely be returning with both of our dogs. The environment is welcoming, clean and decorated very cute. The owners were very friendly to us and our dogs. Rachel was patient and kind with our young dog that was nervous. She listened to what services we wanted and did a good job with the grooming. The prices are reasonable. Scheduling was easy and we didn't have to wait forever to get an appointment either! We loved that they don't have kennels and our little pups just got to hang out together and socialize with some other dogs. So glad we finally found a great groomer in the area!

Barks & Bubbles Destin is so good and accommodating for our 11 year old nervous Labrador, Charley. They take good care of her. I feel more comfortable going to Barks & Bubbles Destin than another local dog grooming place I’ve been to. Barks & Bubbles is quick and kind and professional.

I was so scared to take my cat here and leave him for an hour (he’s really dramatic and had never gotten groomed before) but they did an amazing job and he was perfectly fine when i came back. I was so happy and i plan on getting him groomed at least every 6 months now.

Our dogs don’t let ANYONE touch their nails when awake. They have also NEVER been so clean!! We can’t wait to our next appointment in 4 weeks, Bark & Bubbles are the best!

Great experience! I had issues with getting Rosie’s hair to look healthy since recently diagnosed with diabetes. She looked amazing and her hair was very shiny and glossy. Very impressed and the owners are very nice.

Sad customer service. We've supported this local business way too much to be treated the way we have been. From other, recent reviews, it seems like unprofessionalism is becoming a trend at this company. During one visit, our dog came home with another dog's collar because the attention to detail is lacking. At least they got the right dog. Another time, we brought our dog in and couldn't hear the workers because of how loud all of the dogs were. It's a daycare, so barking and jumping is to be expected, but when we picked our dog up from getting groomed, he was trembling from his experience. Barks and Bubbles is the only time he has ever demonstrated this behavior - including overnight boarding kennels. Finally, we tried to make another appointment but were told that our dog was barking during a previous visit and that he needed to be picked up immediately after any future appointments. Why was our dog barking? Because all of the dogs in there do, and he was scared of the environment. Barks and Bubbles is a dog daycare and grooming facility that emphasizes quantity over quality. It is sad to see the (lack of) customer service drive away local, loyal customers. --- Update 1 --- The unprofessionalism mentioned is on full display in the response to this review. We have the owner of a animal-centric business continuing to shirk accountability and trying to blame an animal for being anxious in a completely chaotic environment. Our dog's "anxiousness" at this place is completely out of character, but our concerns about that are not why this review was written. This is a review of the owner, their customer service, and their establishment. --- Update 2 --- Sadly, further updates are required as the owner continues to forego accountability after retracting and changing their initial, hasty, rude response. 1. We didn't share every incidence of dissatisfaction because we wanted to support a local business and figured we'd forgive minor mishaps. 2. While the Dog Owners and *the recommended veterinarians* disagree with the Groomers' opinion of "anxiety", Barks and Bubbles seemingly does nothing except blame an animal for being uncomfortable in an unwelcoming environment. 3. Done with this. Anyone reading this far has made up their mind on what is and what is not a good fit for their animal and them. Best of luck to all.

We absolutely LOVE Barks and Bubbles! Rachel and Thomas are fantastic! Our Lucy girl gets so excited on days when she goes to daycare! We also boarded her for 3 nights recently. We received pictures and text updates throughout our time away. We are so grateful that B&B has come to Destin. Highly recommend!!

If you haven't tried Barks & Bubbles, you definitely should! I brought my 3 dogs in last week and can't rave enough about the service. Rachel and her staff are friendly, competent and amazingly talented. They didn't even have to muzzle my golden retriever who usually transforms into a lion when his nails are trimmed. The Shane kids will definitely be back!

Barks & Bubbles has taken amazing care of my Millie! Her cuts are always fantastic, and the only groomer my dog is excited to see!

The BEST dog groomers in town! Our puppy is always so fluffy, soft, and fresh when we pick her up! She usually has a new cute little bow or bandana on too!

Posh Pups always do an amazing job on our girls including our special needs shih tzu Dory that is not easy at all to groom. I recommend them to everyone.

Called to get my pound pups nails trimmed ASAP and they were able to get them in immediately for a fair price! Everywhere I called denied my dog’s access to nail trimming due to their lack of pedigree or “not enough information” on my dogs. They don’t deny any dog who needs proper care! And the staff is oh so friendly especially with my babies who are usually afraid of situations like this. Very accommodating, very friendly, very well priced!

We. Came to Destin and brought our baby Annabelle (8yo golden retriever), turns out there is a lot dogs are not allowed at so we had to find a sitter. EVERYWHERE was booked, but thankfully Mira's Den was available and reasonable! We used their services twice in one week and they took amazing care of our baby!!! Thank you so much! Definitely recommend!

Best experience yet! My Mollie was in need of some TLC and she got it while she was at Golden Grooming! She is 14 years old and she was moping around the house before she got her beauty treatment. After her spa day she is looking and acting like a puppy again! I will be back!

Hi. We took our Australian Labradoodle to golden grooming and Jordan groomed him. She did an excellent job and was fabulous! We are Canadian Snowbirds and ran into her while walking our pup. I instantly felt comfortable talking to her once she shared she owns a grooming salon I asked for her business information. She got us in quickly and was super professional and kind. Highly recommend this groomer!!!

I've taken my golden doodle pup to Jordan several times, and she has become my favorite local groomer! Fair prices, friendly, efficient, able to get an appointment easily, and not to mention does a great job on the grooming!

We've taken our rescue to Jordyn several times now and have been very happy with the result each time. Our girl was abused as a puppy. A tendon in one of her legs was nearly severed before we got her, so she gets tired and needs lots of breaks. They've accommodated her special needs as if they love her as much as we do. Not to mention, her cut is always on point! See photos...

They are the best and kindest Groomers I have ever taken my dog to see. I have been to many different Groomers, and none seem to do the job like they did. My white furry labrador retriever, returned to me cleaner and hair free than she had ever been. She was so soft, and her fur looked great. I will always come here and recommend them.

Yahoo this is a great Doggie salon. Jordan the owner and groomer does your baby exactly like you tell her and she does a perfect job on my 4 babies. Her store is clean and always smells good. She has always been able to fit me in within a few days. When you leave them with her you never have to worry!! They are in the most loving and kind caring hands around this beach. Dogs just love her. She is So good She is now grooming for the biggest dog training facility in this area. Try her you'll like her.🐾🐾

We just started taking our standard poodle puppy, Cayman, to Golden Grooming and he has gone through two sessions so far. Jordyn is absolutely awesome with getting him acclimated to grooming at his pace and shows such attention to him. He absolutely looks amazing when we pick him up. She truly has a passion for what she does and it shows! Highly recommend!

Jordyn and her team are amazing. I had a bad incident with my dog at another groomers and this crew were patient and kind with my dog who was a little anxious about going back to get groomed. They didn’t rush through the cuts and made sure that she looked perfect by the time she was done. They are one of the best groomers in the area. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely love how much my dog loves it here. Not only does he enjoy waking me up every morning (5am 😭), wanting to go to Daycare and to play with his friends, but he loves to see the staff when we walk in. They’re genuine people and their care for the dogs is remarkable. That matters to me… I have other dogs (that don’t go to daycare) but do get groomed by Saime and Alexa. The employees at the boarding facility are fantastic with my 2 labs. The picture updates during their stay are always fun to recieve. The retail store in Miramar is great as well. Friendly staff and they always have what I need. The owners are also extremely involved in the community with our high school athletes and are incredible mentors to our young adults!!

I have sat on this for a few days to gather my thoughts and also in hopes that the company would call and try to make things right, however they have not. Saturday was our third time dropping our dog to get groomed. I was apprehensive to take the appointment as the groomer was sick on Wednesday and had to reschedule for Saturday when I was out of town. The gentleman that scheduled and rescheduled assured me if I printed out what was needed to be done, it would be no problem as my mom was keeping our dog and taking him to the appointment. Upon arrival they told her it was a full day and it would be nearly 5pm for pickup. His appointment was at 12pm. Unbeknownst to my mom this clearly showed they had overbooked the groomer as it typically takes no more than 3 hours. Knowing that our dog had just healed from a previous hot spot and could not be left unattended long as he gets anxious and chews, something the groomer even admitted to knowing when I called back, our dog was still left unattended for 2 1/2 hours and chewed a huge 6 inch long open wound in his back side. The groomer found this only 2 1/2 hours later when she went to bathe him. The front desk attendant whom was very rude and untruthful called and told my mom he was aggressive and had opened up a scab and they couldn’t groom him. When I called back to speak with the groomer she had again admitted she remembered he couldn’t be left but they had and he now couldn’t be groomed. The worst part of the entire matter is that we had thought he somehow had reopened a previously healed spot as they had blamed him and this on his “skin issues”, however he had no open wounds upon arrival and as the photo shows, the previous hot spot remained closed. They didn’t even apologize or clean him up. They refused to groom him and sent him home as pictured. He should have never been left unattended and sat for this to happen. We were out of town and my mom and 11 year old daughter were left in tears to deal with this all until the vet opened Monday. Almost $300 in a vet bill for a steroid shot and medications, thankfully he is on the up and up but no thanks to What’s Up Dog and their incompetence and lack of care for our poor dog.

First, your store is impeccable and the products you offer are the best quality. Customer service is 5 stars! I started going here recently after my old pet store changed ownership and stopped carrying my dog’s food. I stopped in on 9/19/24 & had an incredible conversation with the owner. He explained his theory on dog training and I picked up a bit of advice on how to get my dog to stop barking every time someone was outside the house (she even barks when she knows it’s me coming home). I’ve used his advice several times now and it worked! My dog is a quick learner and perfect (in my opinion) but I was never able to get her to be quiet when guests approached my house, and I certainly didn’t like hollering like a fool at my sweet girl. I am definitely a loyal customer from here on. Thank you so much!

I unfortunately had a bad experience. Nobody offered to help me. The girl checking me out was not nice asked if I had number and I said my first time here! She never offered me to sign up. That’s not the worst though then I bought these treats for my dog gave her one and she got sick. I checked the date and they are way way expired. I would go elsewhere if you don’t want a sick dog. P.s they didn’t care when I called.

They are not nice, not friendly and always seem to have something more important to do than interact with the customer. Reading through these reviews clarifies that and the owner responding as if everyone is wrong who complains shows why people don’t feel welcome. I won’t be back

I also had a bad experience. I have been to the store several times different days in season, out of season, morning, afternoon , it didn’t matter. Not once was I greeted or asked if I needed help. I went in one last time this morning because I have a new animal and again there were two people in the store one behind the counter and one talking on the phone. Nobody said hello can I help you? I walked up and down the isles and right out the door.

Great place, great people! Love taking my dog there for grooming and also buy my dog food there.

I’ve been taking my Australian Shepherd, Winston, here for doggie daycare every Saturday for the entire summer and we’ve had an amazing experience! Everyone who works here is very friendly and you can tell loves animals and Winston has the best time!! He always comes home tired which is a big plus for me and I love that they share photos of their time at daycare 😊 Also, their store is very well equipped with pet supplies, food, toys, etc. I highly recommend! We will continue coming here every week.

I brought my 6.5 month old dog in for doggy daycare. It was his 2nd time there. I asked how he did and the owner said not very good. He said my dog was immature. Uh… yeah he’s a puppy. They said they didn’t want him back. I thought the whole point of doggy daycare was for your dog to get exercise. I see the other comments saying how the owner is rude. I agree. Kind of a snob I would say. Dogs don’t get much exercise. You’re not allowed to see the area where your dog is kept. I think this is a lazy dog care facility. They train dogs too so I asked his opinion on how to socialize my dog to have him not be so hyper with other dogs and he had no recommendations. Mind you my dog was not aggressive or a fighter. The owners name Is Steve. He’s the short guy who is a snob and rude. It’s a No for Me Dog!

Brittany loved my animals better than I do. She sent pics everything and cheered us up when we missed them. On time and reliable and went above and beyond to please. 10/10 recommend.

Brittany is my niece which could make me a little prejudice but I am not. I have seen in action at Alaqua showing all the love to animals. I have a little rescue from Alaqua who is people selective. She runs from most people with Brittany she melts in her arms and literally squeals. She has fostered many cats which I have seen her interact with. She is great at gaining trust in animals. I truly recommend her.

Such a blessing to find Brittany, she was amazing with my cats and provided the best service! She checked in with me every day and sent pictures and videos which was so lovely while I was out of town knowing my kitties were having a good time. If you’re looking for someone that genuinely cares about animals look no further. Will definitely be a forever customer!

Brittany always does an excellent job pet sitting my fur babies. My one little five pound senior dog is high maintenance and Brittany is so sweet with her and takes excellent care of her. She will rearrange her schedule to be at my house as much as possible to care for her. And she always walks my big dog and makes sure everyone is happy. When I return home the house is always clean and the pets are happy and well cared for. I have used Brittany several times and will always ask her to pet sit whenever I go out of town. Thank you Brittany for caring about my babies as much as I do.

Brittany was a lifesaver and possibly the best pet sitter I have ever used. She stayed at my house to take care of my 2 dogs and a cat. She kept me abreast of her comings and goings, frequently communicated, and sent pictures. I would highly recommend her to take care of your pets. She treats them like her own.

We love Happy Tails! We have a little batch of rescues who all have their quirks, and Brittany takes such good care of them. I was able to be fully present for my daughter's wedding week a few years ago and not worry one bit because I knew I could trust her care and attention to detail while we were gone. She sends daily updates about the pets, pays attention to anything possibly amiss in the neighborhood, and keeps me posted on her schedule. We were gone during a severe weather event once, and no sooner had the tornado warning gone off on my app at 4AM than I got a text from her letting me know she had everyone gathered safely. We can't ask for better care!

I hIghly recommend Happy Tails. Brittany stayed at my house for a long weekend and took great care of my big dog, Hazel. I got updates and pictures through out the duration. And when she left, you could not tell she was even here. She clearly loves animals and it’s so nice to go on vacation knowing your pets are in such good hands.
