We hired Susan to take care of our home and pets, but it became clear that she had other priorities and didn't take her job seriously. Despite giving her clear instructions to not leave the house with the fireplace running, she did so MULTIPLE TIMES, putting our home and pets in danger. Thankfully, a neighbor was able to turn off the fireplace before anything bad happened. We later learned she locked our cat in a room for most of a day (or more). Susan was also gone for extended periods and left our pets alone without proper care. We have reason to believe that she never took our dogs on their daily walks, and the times she cleaned up after them, she left the bags of poop on our lawn. When we addressed these issues with Susan, she was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She refused to refund our deposit for a future service and demanded that we find alternate clients for her before she would give us our money back - this feels illegal - and then she deactivated our accounts on her platform! Her lack of accountability and disregard for our pets' well-being is completely unacceptable. Susan's negligence and unprofessional behavior made our experience stressful and unsatisfactory, and her lack of customer service is what prompted this review. Buyer beware.

Paula has been talking our dog Titus for walks, play dates and slumber parties for years now and treats him like her own. She will pick him up and drop off which is always very helpful too. If you are looking for a loving, reliable person to care for your dog, call Paula!

Gina and Bay Area Critter Sitters are great—responsible and responsive. I recently needed help with care for my older cat who has kidney disease. In addition to the normal feeding etc., Gina made sure that subcutaneous fluids were administered each day. It’s not easy to find someone you trust who is willing and able to do special care like this. Everything went very smoothly and I will definitely call on her again!

This is one of thee best pet sitter companies in town. Gina is so friendly and she’s so great with the pets she’s watching over. Highly recommended!

I thought they were nice however turns out they are unprofessional and flaky Also one of them VJ is homeless and uses people houses she sits for as her own They totally mislead me and I was very confused as to why they were Why not tell me I didn’t have the job instead of leading me on and then rudely not giving any explanation or any closure I’m qualified no doubt and I’m experienced it is there loss in my opinion I lost my respect for them and I wouldn’t trust them with my dogs for any reason or any amount of time however I’m grateful my dogs were not anywhere near them

My experience with Kelly at Pawsitive Pet Care has been great. Kelly is a caring sitter who is friendly, well organized, and knowledgeable. She spends time interacting with each of my 3 cats and they have been happy and content.

Natasha is wonderful with our two dogs. We've been using her for over a year now. She's dependable, responsible, and playful. Our dogs LOVE her! She takes them to the beach for long walks, and throws the ball for our one dog that fetches. She's also a joy to deal with. She's friendly and extremely upbeat and positive. I feel that whenever I have to leave town, I'm confident that our dogs are in good hands.

What a loving petsitter Natasha is. She was my petsitter when I got Gus in 2008 until she moved to California. I miss her very much. She’d send videos and pictures while Gus was in her care. Anyone who knows Natasha, knows she will give your pet the best of care. 🐶.

I cannot explain how much amazing this daycare is! From great communication to hilarious conversations. They sent videos of my pup and it was just a overall great experience. I was on a work traveling long-term for two months coming from Florida and they worked great with my schedule and super affordable. I was very nervous because my little Doxie is still a puppy and have not been to a daycare or interaction with other dogs in a new setting. Desjardins immediately welcomed her with love and she was in love with them and had so much. She made her first friends at this Daycare and I love the daycare so much they are overall great kind people. If you are looking for a daycare... I AM TELLING YOU, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO REGRET IT! It was worth driving 40 minutes to drop her off at daycare because of how great they are.

We just brought out ten year old terrier mix, Chewy, for a week of boarding with Sara and Kevin. We’ve needed to have him boarded before when we’ve gone out of town and have taken him to other places, but this was top notch. We received videos of Chewy on his vacation, and they contacted us with concerns of his allergies bothering him and came up with a plan to help him get some relief from his allergies and treated him with love and care. We can’t say enough good things about the peace of mind and care they provided to me and my husband and our dog Chewy. We picked him up today and he’s been snoozing ever since, likely because he was so busy and caught up in the excitement with having so many new dog and human friends ❤️

Wow! We are local but were going out of town, and used Desjardines for boarding for our two poodle mixes in their first boarding experience. From tip to tail, everything was perfect. Kevin and Sara were happy to answer all of our (many) questions, and gave us a tour ahead of time. Drop off was easy, and our dogs happily trotted off with Kevin. While we were gone we got videos of our pups being loved on and playing. Before we picked them up, they got a complimentary bath. Pick up was similarly a breeze. They are currently passed out, exhausted and happy after definitely having one of the best weeks of their lives. Not to mention, Kevin was so generous in helping us create a bathing routine for our doodles, whose matting is always an issue. Thank you! We will be back!

Desjardins Dog Day care is the best thing to happen to my dog! I am so happy to have found them. They take such good care of us. They keep track of our pup's vaccine records for us. They offer boarding and training. They offer pick up and delivery. They offer to rinse her off before sending her home. My pup is SO happy to go every week. The whole team is SUPER nice. My pup is a pittie and when we adopted her, she was inexperienced being in a house. She was scared. She chewed everything. She pottied in the house. I couldn't take her out on enough walks to get her energy settled. Then, within a couple weeks of going to dog day care at Desjardins, a switch flipped in our pup. She settled down at home and became the ultimate snuggly couch potato in the house. These folks are life savers. I can't say enough about how wonderful they are with our dog.

Simply the best - My 12 year old dog got 2 play with other seniors and had his own nice private shelter and couch. Everything was very clean and very well managed.

We've boarded our blind dog Maize here twice and he loves it. We get regular videos of him having fun playing with the other dogs and wagging his tail. He gets to spend lots of time outside and has a cozy spot to sleep near his friends. We're super happy we found a place that takes good care of Maize. And the socializing and outdoor time is a huge plus for us -- he loves it, and Sara and Kevin do a lot to accommodate him and his disability. Strongly recommend.

Desjardins Dog Care took care our two Greet Pyrenees dog for a week and did an absolutely great job. Our dogs are young, 2 and 3 years old, and we had not kenneled them before, so I we were a bit nervous. Sara and Kevin sent us videos every day, and it was so obvious our dogs were having a great time, and genuinely enjoyed their hosts. I am not sure they even wanted to come home!

Robin's Nest pet care is the absolute best! We have had two of our dogs at Robin's Nest over the years. Our ridgeback Gus is super shy and has been terrified of other boarding places, but loves Robin's Nest. He scratches at the door when we arrive to get inside! We have no worries when we leave Gus for extended periods for travel, and he loves daycare there. Robin and her team are top notch and I love the kennel-free comfortable atmosphere. Robin, Kelly and their team treat our Gussy like their own. Cannot say enough good things about them!

We've been taking our dog to Robin's Nest for about five years now. It's his second home. Robin, Kelli and the rest of the staff are great. They know each dog--his or her home circumstances, care needs and spirit. They walk the dogs, provide treats, and play with them during the day. There is a vast yard area, providing room to roam. Overnight, the dogs sleep in a large room on mattresses and dog beds; no kennels or crates. Once we hit the driveway, our dog jumps from the car eager for another day. We depend on Robin and her crew and trust them completely. I can't imagine a dog getting better care anywhere.

Our dog does not tolerate being alone. Robin's Nest has become extended family. He is happy to go. We have left him for days at a time, as well as, daycare. It is a safe and healthy environment with responsible and experienced people. Don't think a better place can be found.

I have been taking my pups to Robin’s Nest since I moved to the area around 4 years ago. When my pup, with crazy separation anxiety, barrels his way into her yard because he can’t wait to see the staff and other dogs, you know that they are being treated right and they are loved. Robin and staff are amazing, caring and are like extended family.

Robyn s Nest was such a blessing for us! It s a completely unique and family-like setting for your dog. No kennels, great yard space, everyone sleeps on their doggie beds in her home right next to her. It s like a doggie slumber party! At the same time Robyn is very professional and takes the responsibility of looking after your loved one very seriously. There are usually quite a few dogs staying with her and she takes the time to meet any newcomers and makes certain they will get along with the group before she accepts them. This made us feel very safe taking our GSP to her for the first time. We knew that every dog had been screened by her first. Our dog Hunter is very active and needs lots of exercise. Robyn and her wonderful assistant Kelli, made sure that he went on bike rides, walks and even trips to the beach everyday. Hunter stayed with her for ten days over the 4th of July week and we soon discovered that he was very afraid of fireworks. We were surprised, as we hunt with him and he is around gun fire. However, the situation was very well handled. Robyn took the time to comfort him and he even scored the place of honor sleeping right in her bed! (Where he was hiding from the fireworks of course.) When it was time for us to come get him, he was very happy to see us but I think he might have liked it if we could have all moved in, so he wouldn’t have to say goodbye to his new friends! I HIGHLY recommend Robyn s Nest to anyone who needs a pet sitter! You will have complete peace of mind while you are away knowing your dog is being loved and having great play time with other dogs. This was a wonderful experience and Hunter can t wait to go back again to play! Thank you Robyn and Kelli!

Being going since my dog was a pup. Great people, safe, reliable and the type of overnight boarding I wanted for my dog. No crates or separation. Highly recommend.

I can’t recommend Pacific Paw enough!! My pup Lulu is always soo excited to see them in the morning and comes home a tired happy pup. Some of the things I love about them - positive training techniques, all the staff is smiling and happy when they pick up the pups. Love the pictures and emails with notes of how the day went. Michelle is a VERY good dog trainer. She came to our house for all our sessions with our 17 month old King Charles cavalier spaniel, Nikki. Michelle has a calm, consistent approach to her training. Our little one was very responsive. Most importantly, Michelle is really good at teach the humans how to follow through with the training exercises, leaves you with written instructions and follows up between training sessions. Unless the human is trained, the dog can’t be trained. Nikki was able to learn all the basic commands and address some specific behaviors we wanted addressed. Without hesitation, I would recommend Michelle for trying any dog.

Pacific Paw welcomed us into their family 9 months ago, and I am so so happy to have met these wonderful women. They give 10,000% to the doggos daily, rain or shine. They are filled with love, patience and all speak dog fluently. I have a 90lb timid boy and they took the time to make sure he was always comfortable and loved and having a grand ol time back at day care. We call them the aunties and they truly are that to Otis. He loves them, and the whole dog crew there. Every day I get a full report on all the happenings, with occasional dress-up moments included :), and their instagram also keeps me constantly up to date if I need some dog space out time during my day. Doggie day care is so much more than just your dog getting exercise. It's about community, it's about teaching your dog independence, it's allowing them to have a stable group of friends to feel comfortable with outside of their nucleus family. Raising a dog can take a village, and I'm so grateful to have this amazing Pacific Paw community as Otey's village.

Michelle is a top tier dog trainer! She is gentle and compassionate toward the animals' experience, and is effective in her training. I truly can't say enough good things. I trust her more than anyone I know or any trainer on the internet. I know she will always go above and beyond to understand why my dog is acting the way she is and help me gain understanding and compassion for the 'bad' behavior. She truly cares. Not only is she comfortable and skilled with animals, she's good with humans too, and is a joy to communicate with and learn from. Highly highly highly recommend Michelle to anyone looking for dog and puppy training; she's the one I turn to personally and recommend to friends and family. Thank you Michelle!

Michelle and her team are wonderful! Dog lovers all, and all loved by our dog Topsy who is so excited each time they pick her up and she joins the pack for the ride to their morning walk. She then loves to stay and play with her friends for the afternoon session. They are always reliable, great communicators, send wonderful pictures each day. We are so glad we found this well-run dog care service with such wonderful people. They are the best!

Pacific Paw is amazing! Penelope loves the gang. She gets to spend a lot of time with Michelle -her favorite dog walker EVER. She's excited every time we drop her off. Highly recommend, woof!

There isn't any person I'd trust more with my dog Meeka than Michelle at Pacific Paw. She's reliable, communicates with me, and always ensures my hyper shepherd mix gets plenty of exercise and socialization. Meeka even seems better behaved when I walk her now, thanks so much M!

Pacific Paw has been truly exceptional for my adorable, yet skeptical labradoodle. A dog who normally takes time getting used to new folks had no issues assimilating to the pack and getting along with all the dogs and humans. The entire staff at Pacific Paw really goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs are well loved, that they get great walks in and the daily service reports make the entire experience one you won’t want to skip on for your dog. Pacific Paw is best there is in my opinion and my doggo has been to a few dog walking businesses. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Amazing service and attention to detail that is second to none. I started taking my yellow lab, Gracie, to Pacific Paw in January 2017 and there has been a dramatic difference in her normal behavior. She is much more obedient when I tell her to sit, shake and stay before receiving a treat and doesn't tug my arm when I take her on walks through the neighborhood. I would definitely recommend Pacific Paw dog services to anyone who needs help keeping their dog preoccupied during the day while they're at work. Ask for Michelle, she's great!

I can't say enough about Pacific Paw and the fantastic group of people who work there. The time, energy, love, and attention they all provide to the pups (and their humans) are incredible. The website is easy to schedule additional walks and overnight stays, and the daily walk updates and photos are a huge plus. 10 stars!
