Our pup is 9 months old and we were very nervous about leaving him anywhere. Based on reviews we read online, when a spot came up we forfeited our deposit at a certified kennel because of the reviews and close proximity to our home. Although we requested updates daily, none was forthcoming until I requested it on the day. The updates were all the same. Showing my pup in the yard being tossed a ball and no interactions with other dogs. To clarify, we ONLY requested updates because we were denied access to view the facilities ie where they slept and played. I found this troubling when we dropped him off but had no choice as we were flying out later that day. When I inquired if they had daily posts or videos posted, I was assured they did. Checking the website I only saw still photos. When we picked our pup up, we were aghast how fearful he was sitting in the back seat of our car. His behaviour was that of a dog we do not know. It remained that way for 2 full days and is slowly starting to show his mischievous self. The staff we interacted with was very pleasant so no negatives there. However - the only way we will consider using Mango Spaw in the future if there was more transparency ie ability to view the pets sleeping quarters, precise information on what the dogs do during the day and see where they play, and to actually see video footage of them all taken randomly during the day and posted on the website for everyone to see. That will indicate to me that there’s nothing to hide. And the spray you used on the dogs just before we picked him up, we are both very sensitive to smells so that’s was definitely not good for us. We've taken previous dogs to Mango, but our current dogs have never stayed at the "doggy hotel". They just returned from their first stay and they are happy and exhausted!

We've brought our dogs to Mango several times over the years. The staff are awesome and our dogs always seem to enjoy their stay!

My Berner girls spent 3 weeks at Mangospaw and had a wonderful time with Beth. First time to stay away from home in a kennel....but it is NOT just a kennel. It is a spa for animals. They played in the big yard together and chilled in the AC when it was hot. Best of all they smelled GREAT when they came home. NO kennel smell here. They will be visiting again soon.

We travel with Popcorn aka Poppy (our Golden doodle) as often as we can. When we can’t take her with us she stays at Mango Spaw. I have every confidence they take great care of her. If she doesn’t want to eat, they’ll sauce up her dinner (with our permission); if she wants to play there will be a dog or a human friend to play with; and if she wants to relax then she can relax in a clean, climate controlled space. Highly recommend!

Very considerate of my anxious dog who was not used to being kenneled. They were very professional in dealing with him and keeping me updated. 5 star business for sure.

We just left our little Siamese kitty with Beth while we went on our "Atlantic Bubble" vacation. We were out of cell phone/internet range for some time while camping so were a little concerned as this was our cat's first time in boarding. Beth was very reassuring and helpful. At one of our "wifi" breaks we even had a cute photo of our cat playing and a lovely little update to say all was well, and I felt confident that Beth would be able to handle any situation while were we out of range. When we picked up our lil one she smelled so nice which is definitely a bonus! Wonderful service and peace of mind! Will definitely book again!

This Kennel is superbly managed. They provide a well staffed facility with very clean well maintained kennels and a very spacious enclosure for pets to run and play.

Lily was very well taken care of..She was a happy girl.. when we got home we asked her did she want to go back and she ran to the car LOL so we took it she had a good time

The staff is great very accommodating. More importantly dogs seemed to live the place. Best of all they came home without that kennel smell. Highly recommended.

Boarded my two Brittany Spaniels over Christmas but had to return home early due to snow storm. Bruce was prompt in getting back even though it was New Year's Eve (when they are meant to be closed - and said as much when we scheduled the dogs in). So, they were very accommodating and understanding in a tense situation when we were having to leave immediately. Would definitely board again.

I can't say strong enough all the attributes of this lady dog boarder "Debbie". She was so kind to us, my two Labradors, and kept us informed all the way through. This was hard for me to board my "Boys" but I was hospitalized and Debbie made it so much easier. She was so good at what she does I tried to give her a $100 bonus on about a $250 bill and she not only would not take it she gave me $60 back.. Thank you so much Debbie. You were so kind to my li'l family when we needed you. You are a star..

Amazing place to take your pets to be be groomed and / or spend time in the boarding kennel. My pups both love Deb and are always excited as soon as we pull into the driveway. You will not be disappointed. Deb treats your furbabies as if they were her own!

Debbie is amazing!!! She is fantastic with our dog. We bring Barley to her for regular grooming once a month. She is very knowledgeable and great at what she does. She is also very friendly and polite. She is very accommodating and does everything she can to give you what you want. Can't say enough great things about my experience with her. It's been almost two years and has been consistently awesome. Highly recommend!!!

Debbie and Bruce are amazing with our 2 small dogs! They make them feel right at home.

This was our very 1st time ever leaving our dog , our baby pug for 10 days , Debbie was very accomadable , sent daily texts and pics and even trimmed her nails.To say we were petrified to leave her was an understatement but within days we weren't stressing anymore and could relax. We also ended up being late due to missing our flight and she refused to charge us for the extra time but we felt she deserved it for sure .Our baby was well taken care of and we felt comfortable with her there. We will def re book :) and be in for grooming !

Great experience from start to end. Debbie clearly loves dogs! We boarded our small 10lb dog with B&D for several nights. He came home better behaved than when we dropped him off :) She said they have a separate space for large and small dogs and walking trails close by that she takes the dogs on if they like going for a walk.

What a nightmare. We went away for vacation on our way back we called to make arrangements to pick up our dog and she stayed no problem you can come when you get home. My husband shows up and for 30 minutes tried to get a hold of her. She did not answer knocks at the door or her or phone calls from either of us. Then she opens the door cursing at my husband and threatens to call the cops and to have her husband assault my husband. After and hour of this ordeal we end up getting our dog but I tell everyone not to use this kennel. I will NEVER be back. I'd give it 0 stars but obviously not an option.

Debbie truly is a dog lover! I bring my fur baby for a grooming every few months and am always happy with the results. She is genuinley happy to see my dog and always sends a picture or an update on how my dog is doing (my dog is only there for a couple hours at a time max) so it's very thoughtful of Debbie to do that.

I would rate zero stars if possible. This was my first and last time using this facility. My main reason for choosing B&D was because of all the positive reviews stating how Debbie keeps clients updated on their fur babies. When we arrived we signed a form and provided our email for updates. This is my first (and probably last) time leaving Niko with anyone. We did not receive any updates until I reached out via messenger and asked. The response I received was oh I'm sorry. I was busier than expected. It takes 2 minutes to send a quick hey your pup is great. Enjoy your vacation. It took Debbie 72 hours and prompting. We had made arrangements to pick Niko up at 3pm (an hour early) due to time constraints on our return. These arrangements were agreed upon Friday when we dropped him off. Here I sit at 3:26pm still waiting. No one here. Not returning my Facebook messages. Not answering the phone. Enthusiastically impressed.

I've taken Bear here a few times for daycare, and we just recently left him for 4 days while on vacation. I've never had to leave him before and was so scared and stressed out. Katie was able to give me updates on him which made me feel way better about everything. Picked him up and he was healthy and happy, that's all I could ask for. Thanks so much for everything ❤️

I give this spot a 5-star review because I feel so comfortable and confident leaving my dog here. I've tried a few places since getting our puppy, and while they were good, I felt the need to keep looking for the perfect fit for us. At Solid Gold, our dog's needs are met, and she is safe and secure. The staff is efficient and confident with animals, so I never worry—though I do miss my girl 🐶. When I pick her up, she is in a balanced mood, thrilled to see me and ready for a little nap, I couldn’t ask for more!

Our princess loves going to summer school (what I call it) here. She gets so excited to spend time playing with other dogs. How they group the dogs is interesting and logical (colored stars based upon personalities with other pooches). Since returning she has lost 1kg in a month with moderate visits too.

We brought our dog here for a couple days. I cannot say enough amazing things about the staff and the pet resort! Simply amazing and our dog came back so happy! They truly care about pets and everything is so clean! I highly recommend Solid Gold Pet Resort!

Had an excellent experience with a longer stay (3 weeks), our GSD was very happy with her stay and was in great spirits when we picked her up and went home. Will use their service again for sure!

We brought our dogs Max and Bentley there for 2 nights. The staff and owner are very friendly. I felt at ease leaving them there. We'll definitely be back!

My two puppers go there whenever I am out of Freddy and they are well looked after. The staff is pleasant to deal with, they also extended out of hours support to us when we were stuck on the road due to weather. Katie especially has been very kind and is super responsive.

This pet resort is a 20 minute drive from us, it's a bit out of our way especially when it's the opposite direction we drive to go back home or on vacation. But this doesn't matter to us because our dogs love it there!! The staff is so friendly, the dogs are well taken care of, and their prices are the most reasonable out of all the pet resorts I have looked at for boarding my dogs. And I have 2 so the price point is super important to me! Boarding 2 dogs for days at a time can get super expensive., but with these guys I board my 2 dogs in the same kennel area and an they love it and it saves me money! I highly recommend solid gold pet resort as the go to resort when boarding your fur babies!!

MacIntosh Kennel cares about dogs! Gayla loves all of the dogs and the dogs love her! My pup howls with excitement every time we pull into the driveway, you can't make that energy up! Dogs are #1 in her world. Makes the owners feel safe leaving their companions with her! Thank you Gayla!

We had to find a place for my Mom’s service dog on an emergency basis. We found this place because they were excellent communicators. We are so happy we chose them! The place is not fancy, but the owner knows dogs- how to read them and give them the social experience which is right for them. They have different outdoor pens for different play experiences. Our dog came home happy and hungry and ready to take a nap! We thank them for what they do!

We love MacIntosh’s. our husky goes there once a week to get in some good play (and give me a break at home lol). Once we turn off the road, he’s figured out where we’re going and gets so excited. He always has a great time and comes home all played out. It clear that they really care about the dogs in their care :)

My dog loves it when he gets to go to Doggie daycare. The staff genuinely care about the dog's experience, and are knowledgeable. Great place to socialize your dog, and know they are in good hands.

After being put on waiting lists by 3 groomers we brought in our 10 month old Westie X Scottie, Jamie on April 16. Although I have been puppy grooming him since he was 8 weeks, I was prepared to be flexible on how much they might be able to get done with a full haircut. NO WORRIES! He was done in record time and we are SO pleased with the cut. Exactly what we asked for. Jamie loved the groomer and he has spoken. We will be going back. Highly recommend! 😎👍

My dogs love this place, when I pull in to drop them off in the morning they can’t get into to see Gayla fast enough! Wonderful, caring, and great environment for your dogs to socialize. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Website states $36 per night. Paid after 3 night stay and was charged $43 per night. Also extra charges i was not made aware of. Our dog was dirty but seemed happy.

Our dog didn't come home tired. When we went to pick her up the entrance was locked. Well we waited to find out the owner goes home at lunch, not on the property and who knows for how long. All the dogs were in cages while she did this and no cameras to make sure they were safe.

Such a great spot. We try and get our pup in once a week for an amazing work out / socialize. He comes home exhausted every time.

Love this dog care ! Sarah worked with my dog to help him integrate and socialize with the other "furry friends" - now I don't have to worry when I need to be away and he loves it there!

Gypsy was here for two weeks this past summer and she loved it! I had peace of mind as I knew she was well taken care of. She got to go on adventures multiple times a day, make new friends and she was safe at all times. The owner could tell I was nervous leaving her in a kennel for the first time and gave me her personal email so I could check in, which I appreciated! Anytime Gypsy needs boarded in future, this is where she'll be! Thank you for looking out for my girl!

We were lucky to find this spot for our dog Max. After a long road trip, this was the perfect place for him to hang out with a dog pack with plenty of space to run. Phyllis even took the time to show the space to my 6 year old and introduce her to the other dogs. A memorable introduction to our first time in NB. Thanks Phyllis and Tom!

This Dog Boarding Kennel is awesome! It is obvious that Phyllis and Tom take great pride in their operation and treat all their visitors like their own. Simba absolutely loved his 4 day stay at his home away from home! He played non-stop and made new friends with the other dogs who he ran with all day long, every day. We are already booked for our next vacation and are sure that Simba will be well cared for again in our absence. Thank you SO much, Phyllis and Tom. You guys rock! The Powers

Phyllis and Tom were absolutely fantastic!! They treated my pouch like he was their own. Regular feeding, walks, and pen time... which they have many pens to let dogs run. Not far from quispamsis, just a 5 minute ferry ride and 4 minute drive. The accommodations are fantastic!!! They love your pet as much as you do. 100% will I put my dog in their hands again when i cant take him with me. Thanks 😊

Amazing service, my dog was scared to go there and afraid of people. He took the time to spend with her, walk her and by the end of the second day they were playing and she was doing tricks for him. They kept me informed of progress the hole time. The facility’s were clean and I enjoyed the set up for the dogs. I would go back again and would recommend this place to anyone.
