Anita was a wonderful dog sitter for Balto! They were super tentative, made sure to ask any and all questions before we went away, and they sent the best updates about Balto while we were gone. I felt so much better knowing my dog was in great hands, and I could not recommend Anita enough! Quality care, and our apartment was spotless when we returned home.

Jerry gets a five star in every area! We actually connected on the phone before he ever arrived but once he got here, it was like we known each other forever! He was very thorough and how he was going to take care of the dogs and the house!! very friendly with the dogs, and they immediately connected with him!! dogs know when they are💖💖 he arrived early so he could become familiar with Circus and tinker and the house and we had a meal together and quickly became best friends! He sent pictures while we were away and updates. Every day. He was gone by the time we came back, but it honestly looked like he had never been in the house. We initially accepted Deirdre and Jason for a long stay to look after our dogs.  We were very happy they accepted.  A few weeks later we realized we needed another sitter for another trip we had planned.  So, we posted more dates on zeewoi.  To our happy surprise,  Deirdre and Jason reached out to us saying they could also look after our dogs and home with the new dates we posted.   This made our life much easier and we were very confident to have Deirdre and Jason stay longer with us and care for our dogs.

We were definitely right!! D&J have countless experiences on zeewoi with very good reviews from all of their previous sits.  They are very experienced with all aspects of a house/pet sitting.  D&J are very self-sufficient, have the background knowledge and education of pet care, and most importantly a genuine love for all animals.  This is most important for my wife and I.  We knew from the first meeting with our pups they loved animals.  

Communication was excellent.  The process before and during our sit was stress-free for us.  We were given daily updates on our dogs including photos and videos.  Any concerns D&J had were vocalized to us.  D&J are also problem solvers and know how to react many challenging situations.  Our routine for our pets was followed immaculately and all dogs were very happy and connected with them.  Even our female dog Kinki grew close so quickly with D&J which is very rare.  We had ZERO issues while we were gone and we were able to really enjoy our trip while we were away.  The dogs definitely love being around D&J.


Homecare:  We are very pleased with the condition of our home when we returned.  It was clean, free of clutter, and exactly how we had left it for them, if not even better!  D&J even mowed our grass and took care of our yard! Our yard is not a small garden.  It is very big and takes hours to mow.  So we were very surprised and excited to know they did that for us even though it's not expected of our sitters!! They definitely went above and beyond what is expected. 

Our dogs are so very important to us.  When we know we can trust our sitters it's the best feeling in the world.  We definitely trust Deirdre and Jason with our most prized possessions and we look forward to the next sit with them in a few days!!! We can't thank them enough for giving our dogs the love and attention they deserve.

Hamsa was very quick to respond in all communication.  She was prompt on her arrival and listened carefully to our detailed instructions about the house and dogs.  While we were away the amount of communication between us was just right.  When we arrived home the dogs were happy and the house was in order.  A good sign that a dog sitter paid lots of attention to the pups is when we see a bit of depression set in after a dog sitter departs - this did occur after Hamsa left our home  She is a very caring and nurturing individual.

Jim sat for my extremely shy rescue pup and new kitten for two weeks -- my pup struggles with new people, and is very fearful of men in particular. And yet, Jim was more successful with her than any sitter I've ever had: I can't recommend him highly enough. He has wonderful patience, a calm energy, and is a great communicator. He consistently updated me with photos and videos of my sweet girls enjoying the world with him, taking my dog on hikes and adventures to her favorite streams. He went above and beyond both for her (in meeting her needs and taking the time to get to know her personality), and also in caring for my home. I returned to such a cozy environment, a repaired wood stove, an organized wood pile and an at-peace dog and cat. Choosing Jim as a sitter is ensuring that your pets and home are getting the best of care, and his actions exemplify his kindness, generosity and thought taken in consideration of others. I hope to have him return many times in the future; the experience was a privilege both for myself and my pets.

Alia is a wonderful furbaby sitter and also a wonderful person.  It is our privilege to have her for the 3rd time.  She keeps us informed, our dogs love her, and she even cooked dinner and left it for us.  The house was perfect when she left.

Melissa and Chris are amazing.  We are very picky about our dog sitters, and we chose them because they have been doing this for a long time and track your wants and needs carefully and follow through with utmost care and integrity.   They offered to come the day before we left to meet Winnie so that we could rest in that she would trust them and connect to them.  Honestly, we would hire them as our only dog sitter all of the time if we could.  I cannot thank them enough and say enough good things about them.  They also took very good care of our house and  plants.
