Yvonne is an absolute star. She took my little dog Jimmy, who is blind, for 2 walks on the day of my Dad's funeral. It was a last minute request to her and she was so helpful and caring, I had no doubts about leaving him with her. She sent me texts to say how he was doing and she even asked how I was doing on this sad day. She is a lovely caring lady and Jimmy made a new special friend that day! Thanks again Yvonne. X

I recently got in touch with Freddie’s Friends to see if they had availability to look after my dog, Bonnie for the day as I had a last minute wedding. Yvonne responded to me within minutes and arranged to come and meet Bonnie the following week. Bonnie is quite nervous and doesn’t always warm up to people quickly, but she loved Yvonne straight away, which made me feel at ease. I would definitely recommend Freddie’s Friends if you need a dog walker or sitter. They’re amazing and you can trust they’ll take good care of your pup. Thank you x

Yvonne and Mark were fantastic. They are 2 amazing people with a beautiful house. Honestly wouldn't trust anyone else with our little frenchie. Kept us updated with lots of photos and videos the whole time and it was clear that our little dog had the time of her life. Absolutely recommend Freddie’s friends, Yvonne and Adrian were a godsend, they looked after our cat Tiddles while we were on holiday, coming to the house twice a day, feeding and playing with her and it was lovely to get daily photos and messages of her enjoying their company,Tiddles’s was a happy little cat when we got home, I felt assured knowing the house was safe and she was very well looked after. Great personal service provided by Yvonne @ Freddie's Friends. My rescue dog Elsa loves being cared for when I am away and goes ballistic when Yvonne arrives to walk her. She sends me pictures and updates so I know Elsa is safe and well and it gives me peace of mind. Highly recommend the service 👍🐕

Yvonne has looked after my rabbits on a number of occasions, they were well kept, cleaned, fed and watered, also let out in the yard to play and exercise. very happy with the service received, would definitely recommend Yvonne, she loves all animals and is very reliable and trustworthy.

What can I say, Fiona and James are amazing. They are so professional, dedicated and enthusiastic, I can honestly say this isn’t regarded as a business or just a job to them it’s a love for caring for dogs and cats one hundred per cent. Initially we felt guilty and nervous of the idea of leaving Milo our little Maltipoo puppy with anyone who is not a family member as he has a timid nature and especially around other dogs. By the time we were leaving the meet and greet Milo had already settled himself in and was making himself at home which speaks volumes! This was purely down to Fiona and James. It was so reassuring to see that we booked him in for doggy day care to help him become more confident and enjoy socialising with other dogs making new friends which he loves! In addition to this we have also booked Milo in for boarding whilst we are away on our holidays next year. I am the person who does not trust anyone with my kids or dog, so it goes without saying what trust I have with Fiona and James. It is obvious the welfare/happiness of Milo is their ultimate priority, and he is part of their family in our absence. Fiona and James have been so kind offering lots of advice, support as and when, nothing is ever to much to ask which is really appreciated thank you. I would highly recommend Fiona and James to anyone who is considering a safe place for your dog to play or board.

A absolute lifesaver. I have two cats, one with increased needs, and I’m so happy that We Love Pets exist. We had a meeting beforehand where they took down all the details about my pets into a database, which was reassuring given the medical needs of one of them. Pets were clearly very well looked after, contact was great and they even helped me out with two more visits after I was stranded by cancelled trains. I cannot recommend them enough. Solid gold.

Fiona and James looked after Willow, our five year old Cockapoo for a day, the first time we had left her with anyone other than family. We were very nervous and a little anxious about this but after our meet and greet with these lovely people we were put at our ease. They took the time with bucket loads of patience to get to know Willows likes and dislikes,daily routine,feeding schedules etc and to actually get to know Willow whilst in their home and during a walk around their amazing farm and fields. When it came to the day we left Willow they met us with a reassuring handover which helped us immensely along with videos of Willow and friends having the time of their lives. I will have no hesitation in the future to ask Fiona and James to take care of our precious bundle again and highly recommend their services.Thank you for helping to make what was a difficult day that much easier. Left our gorgeous Cocker Spaniel Hattie with Fiona and James for the first time last week and we were absolutely delighted with how well they looked after her. The pictures and videos posted showed just what a great time she had and how settled she was staying at We Love Pets Calder Valley, which was fantastic as it made the leaving of her so much less stressful for us as we could see how she was with them. Hattie will be returning later in the year for another stay at her new home from home. Tina and Russell.

James visited our house twice a day to feed our cat Rosie while we were on holiday. We really appreciated the photos and videos that James uploaded. Rosie was very happy and relaxed when we got back, she'd obviously been well looked-after. James also watered our patio pots of flowers for us. We were so pleased with the We Love Pets service that we have already made another booking and have recommended James and Fiona to a friend.

Fiona, James and Becky were professional and friendly and did an excellent house sitting service for us. Becky was amazing. We came home to an immaculate house and an immaculate stable yard but more importantly, our dogs and horses were happy and content with Becky and clearly hadn’t missed us at all! Knowing that we could enjoy our holiday without worrying about the animals we wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again.

I left my Whippet Puppy with Fiona and James for 2 nights and they looked after her extremely well. I was very worried about leaving her as she is only 9 months old and a "Mummy's girl" ! Well I can honestly say that she had a wonderful time with them. She even slept on the bed with James!! They have a very safe place for dogs to run around in during the day and fields for a good run around too. My little Violet was very happy and tired out when she came home, after all the fun and games! I can highly recommend them in every way. First time we have put our dogs in kennels and I’m so glad we chose Croftmount they looked after our two French bulldogs amazingly, nothing was too much trouble, they also sent photos to show us they were ok lovely spacious kennels , TV, radio , lovely secure field to run around off lead in and not mixed with others Can’t thank Croftmount enough for looking after our boys .

So well organised,ultra caring and homely. Our dog can be anxious away from home ,but after settling in he clearly loved his time at croftmount. He was calm and happy when I arrived to collect him.

Absolutely delighted to have had this place recommended to me by my dog trainer. We have an incredibly anxious cockapoo and I never really believed we'd be able to leave her happily. She had a day visit to Croftmount followed by just a one night stay to see how she got on before we booked her in for longer. She ate well, looked relaxed in the photographs of her outside and even enjoyed cuddles. When we went to pick her up she went over to the lady who'd been looking after her to give her a nose bump first before she enthusiastically greeted us. I feel 100% confident leaving my dog at Croftmount and recommending it to others.

A friendly, safe, comfortable place that was clean and welcoming. The staff were knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. The accommodation was first-class and roomy, they even have TVs in every room. The graden is large and secure, our dogs are always happy to stay.

Our two 🐕 dogs Bandit a Collie Labrador cross age12 and Angel our 2 year old Jack Russell stayed here whilst we went away in May. We we're so impressed with the care they received and the regular updates and photos were 👏 amazing! We will definitely be using these kennels again. Thank you for taking great care of our babies.

This place is absolutely amazing. Last minute booking to get my fur baby in and they managed no problem and was accommodating from the 1st moment of contact, when dropping Arya off the place looks amazing and super clean. It was clearly a holiday for our girl. She had the most amazing time and was given regular updates on how she was doing. Couldn't of asked a better place to look after her. Thank you so much. Fantastic kennels! Would recommend to anyone. Our 2 very energetic Weimaraner’s are always very well cared for with lots of walks and attention! Huge field out back which is great for them to safely run off their energy! Never any issues and always kept updated whilst away with photos of them playing outside and enjoying their stay. Great and friendly staff and extremely clean! 5* stars!

My 2 ' babies ' have stayed at Croftmount several times from when it first opened. They have always been well looked after in clean, comfortable and spacious kennels. And always looked very happy when we went to collect them. I know they are safe there and can rest easy whilst I am away. The staff and Janette the owner go the extra mile for the dogs if they need special food or medication. I even have then groomed at the Resort too. Highly Recommended.

Merlin and Cooper have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the pet resort and they loved it. I was fretting on holiday but was updated with pictures and they were having such a good time. The staff are lovely and the place is brilliant especially the secure outdoor space which they loved. Well done Croftmount they will definitely be staying again xx

Pippa was great with our two from the moment we booked. Little walks, daycare, and single night stop over to help get to know each other. Then, when the stay came, a good amount of feedback, photos and videos let us know they were enjoying being with her and the other dogs she cared for. Definitely hope to use again next year.

We took our two Westies to stay with Pippa for a week last July and were so pleased we did. Pippa is obviously a dog lover & our dogs seemed very happy for us to leave! When we picked them up they needed a couple of days rest after all the walks they’d had. We didn’t hesitate to leave them later in the year for a long weekend & they’re booked in for two more stays. This is such a relief to us as previously they had gone to the same home boarding place for 10 years until the owners retired. Thanks again to Pippa.

After meeting Pippa a couple of times to get my dog used to her, I felt totally at ease leaving my 6 year old lab here. I had a couple of texts during my holiday, to let me know all was OK. Pippa is experienced and knowledgeable and I would be happy to leave my dog with her in the future. *updated after 3 years - Pippa is still my go-to dog boarder. My dog is 9 now, and loves going to We Look After Dogs. She has been many times, and is already booked in for her next "holiday" 🐕‍🦺🙂

Pippa was highly recommended by another dog walker when I was trying to find somewhere for my dog, Bobby, to stay for a week. Pippa was warm, friendly as well as being professional and efficient as she wanted to ensure Bobby was suitable to stay with her i.e. making sure he was well socialised with other dogs and had good recall. We did a couple of test runs with Bobby staying for a few hours with Pippa and Bobby got to enjoy some walks. After Pippa got to know Bobby & Bobby got to know her, Pippa was more than happy for Bobby to stay. Whilst we were away, Pippa kept me updated with how Bobby was doing and sent me photos and videos of all the fun and adventures he was having with Pippa and his other fur pals. It was evident when collecting Bobby and from seeing all the updates that Bobby felt at home straight away with Pippa and he became very much part of Pippa’s family which I loved as I wanted Bobby to feel like it was home from home. I know Bobby will be super excited to stay with Pippa again and we already have him booked in for when we are away later in the year. Thank you again to Pippa for taking such good care of our Bobby ❤️🐶

Pippa is great with Indie. Indie stayed for two weeks and was no problem coming back home plus you could tell she’d been really well looked after. We had a day care issue twice shortly after our holiday and Pippa stepped in last minute to help us. Indie ran straight to Pippa, clearly having missed her.

Pippa is absolutely fabulous & treats your pets as if her own.They are taken on long walks & let of the lead to run free which is perfect for us. They are allowed to do exactly what they do at home...eg sit on the sofa & are loved. I have used Pippa for many years & see her in our village with other dogs being treat exactly as ours so this is definately not hearsay it is fact!🥰

Wouldn’t want my pooches to go anywhere else. I know I can go away and not have to worry about them. Pippa is 100% amazing.

5 stars all the way! Debs looks after your fur baby’s like her own dogs I can’t recommend her enough. Our boy wanted for nothing while in her care. She baked him home made treats, snuggled him on her sofa and he was like her little shadow. She made him a little take home toy which he still loves now and he got a little goody bag to take home. We have used Wagmore for a short weekend stay and also for 2 week holidays. And we received pupdates for both. My anxious mal-shi puppy, Mabel accesses Daycare at Wagmore boutique boarding and I honestly could not rate highly enough. Debby truly treats them as her own. You can see when someone is truly passionate about what they do and the service which they offer. And I can truly say Debby falls into this category. Mabel is always absolutely spoiled when she has been to wagmore. I can leave her and know she is in safe hands - I am actually able to relax!. Debby keeps me posted and In the loop with pictures and regular pupdates - she is so knowledgeable and I could wholeheartedly trust her to support Mabel should anything health-related occur in my absence. I receive a full handover when I collect Mabel too, and info with regards to the toys/enrichment Mabel has taken an interest in that day - meaning I am able to carry this on at home (extremely beneficial with a fussy pup!!!). As I stated previously - My puppy can be anxious around other dogs (has been well socialised - she just gets a little overwhelmed). When at Wagmore boutique boarding, Debby has the facilities to give Mabel some time away from the others to unwind which is absolutely perfect for Mabel. If you are considering where to choose for your doggy day care/boarding for your small pup - i would not hesitate to recommend Wagmore. So helpful and accommodating too! Cannot thank them enough for keeping my mabel safe and happy and giving me peace of mind!

Highly recommend Debby to look after your 🐶💙 It was a first time for us and our 4 month old puppy. We needed someone at short notice and local, someone who can provide calm and safe space for him to relax and play and stay all day without worrying about him. Very nice people, great new experience for our dog and absolutely fantastic service. We will be back 🐶🐾😊

Dotty our Cavapoo has just returned from a 2 weeks howlidays at WBB. Dotty had such a wonderful time and has returned home a very happy doggy. Debby sent frequent photos and videos of Dotty's howliday. We were completely at ease Dotty was in good hands with Debby. Dotty has booked more howlidays with Debby in the future. Thanks Debby 🐾🐶

This is one of the best boarding kennels around. My dogs were kept in a kennel with their own heat lamp with access to the outside. The place was clean and provided a large kennel for their stay. The girls were lovely, I messaged them while on holiday to check on my dogs, and they gave me a great update. The place is in an idilic location but beware of the "guard chickens " they have no fear and roam everywhere... its hilarious. Poppy and Percy seemed to have a good time, they were relaxed and happy when I picked them up. I will definitely be using Toot Hill again...thanks

Amazing boarding kennels. If I could give them 10/10 I would. Always look after our large breed dog and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. We had a bad experience before and Toot Hill changed our view immediately even from the first look around. Very professional, polite and knowledgeable. The service is very competitively priced and reasonable. Emma is brilliant in responding to boarding requests via WhatsApp and they are very accommodating. My dog is always happy to see us when we pick him up, but also happy to see the team at TootHill on arrival which makes the process of leaving him a little less stressful! Thank you to the team

My two cats have just come home from their first stay at Toothill. I can not praise Lisa(the owner) and the staff enough. They are so friendly, reassuring, efficient. They took their time to be caring, and loving towards my cats, nothing was too much. The cattery was very clean, and comfortable, clean beds, plenty of toys, very spacious. I will definitely be boarding my cats there again. Highly recommended.

Would not recommend for rabbits, our house rabbit stayed at Toothill , upon drop off I was instantly concerned about the green algae water bottles. The hutches are placed in a large shed and when the door is closed it is in darkness. There is a run but in wet weather isn’t suitable for house rabbits. When we collected our rabbit he didn’t resemble the rabbit we had dropped off! He had lost so much weight, his, his body was full is scabs and cuts and a lot of his fur was hanging off!. We only learnt when we had complained that a few rabbits has escaped one night and must have been fighting, therefore the hutches are not secure. it has taken weeks to get out rabbit tame and trustworthy again. The reviews for the dog kennels are good but I would definitely not recommend house rabbits 😢🥰

I am really happy with the kennels at Toot Hill Pet Boarding. The staff were really friendly, the kennels were clean and tidy. Most importantly my dog came home really relaxed and happy. Would definitely recommend!

Really good place, the lady owner is brilliant especially with my cat, and always cared for, even the guinea pigs get looked after. And Murphy is just such a lovely dog to be greeted by. Xx

Put my 2 dogs in for 1 night 2 dogs sharing 27.00 dropped off 11.15 am saturday picked up 9.30 am sunday got charged for 2 days they hadnt been in 24 hours and got charged 54 pounds be aware if you book 2 nights you pay 3 etc. they will not be stopping there again

We have now have our puppy from AllBreeds pet Boarding and she is perfect. Shirley has done an amazing job, our puppy is so happy, sociable and confident with important routines in place. We got a puppy pack with loads of vital information in. Shirley is still there for support as needed.

My dog wasn't eating at first, but the staff resorted to spoon feeding her, fantastic level of attention as she was o ly there for a get days. Will definitely trust them with my girl again. Thank you ❤️

Catherine is just lovely! We've found this service really helpful and our young springer/lab just loves his trips out. He needs a lot of exercise and Diamond Dogs is great as he gets a proper work out on a proper walk, not just a stroll down the road. He also loves the fact that he gets to play with all the other dogs when he's out which has been great for his socialisation and general wellbeing. Catherine always tries to make sure he goes out with other dogs that match him in energy and personality so he gets the best out of his run. Very happy with this service

Catherine has been walking my dog since I got him in 2010. He gets a decent walk every time and is happy to see all the walkers. She is attentive to his individual needs and limitations and now walks my partners dog, with equal care and attention. I am very happy to recommend her service. The dogs are always overjoyed to be picked up and exhausted when dropped off.

Our dogs love going out with Catherine and her team. We both work long hours, and one dog can be tricky with other dogs, yet we know they are always well looked after, content, thoroughly exercised, and happy. We love getting the occasional photo of the dogs enjoying themselves. I can not recommend Diamond Dogs high enough. I used other dog walkers previously in another area of Yorkshire and this service is exceptional. Catherine sets a gold standard. Thank you from us all!

Catherine would get ten stars if possible, she has the most caring yet professional approach you could wish for. Dogs have always been part of my life and I am a former veterinary nurse. Catherine has been taking care of my dogs for over five years , having them to stay in her house when I was on holiday approximately 3 times a year, sometimes for 5 weeks at a time. I have the greatest confidence leaving them safe in her care I knowing they are having a wonderful time in a happy, caring environment. They return looking well, relaxed and fitter than me !

Catherine is great! We’ve used her for 18 months since getting our staffie as a pup. She helped us through some difficult times when our dog had a serious operation and needed cage rest; she offered home visits instead of walks and helped us nurse her back to health! We now send our second dog out with her wonderful dog club too. Both dogs love her to bits-she’s their favourite person ever!

For the past 15 years Catherine has walked my dogs. All off them go bonkers when they hear her van trundle to the door, my present dog even howls with excitement. And when she sees Catherine she waggles from top to end of her tail 🌝. I have no doubt the dogs are safe with Catherine even the dearly departed Amos who would bog off for his own walk in search of food, he would stay with Catherine. She has such a lovely way with the dogs and looks after them as if they are her own. Bramble gives 4 paws of appreciation for the walks x

Catherine has been walking my dogs for 4 years. She has been really flexible when I have had contract work at short notice and I know they are well looked after. One of my dogs is very reactive and she manages him really well.

Catherine is amazing. She walked Baxter our jack a poo for 6 years until we sadly had to Say goodbye as he was taken too soon to doggy heaven. Catherine is reliable and flexible and loves and cares for dogs she walks. We wouldn’t trust anyone else Catherine is now looking after and walking our puppy Wire haired vizsla Lophi and is just the best She is helping feeding and helping him Get confidence travelling in moving vehicles. Catherine is a fabulous dog walker and dog boarder. She has been looking after my miniature sausage dogs for over three years now. They love her. She is ably assisted by Barney the lovely lurcher. He is a big soft lad and my girls love him.

I wouldn’t want to trust my dog with anyone else. Catherine and her team at Diamond Dogs have never let us down. You can tell that they absolutely love dogs and Casper (our miniature Schnauzer) is by the door in a flash when they arrive. He even goes for occasional holidays and i am not sure he is that keen to come home. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Can't recommend Cara highly enough. One of the few people I will trust to look after my usually very timid cat when I go away. She's caring, patient and very thoughtful, sending updates on our cat when she pops in to feed her while I'm gone.
