Dog Sitters in North Curry

We have two pups who stay with Helen and Simon regularly and have used them since 2022. They are the only dog boarder we will use for our holidays. Ours have spent countless weekends and weeks there and words can’t express how amazing they are. One of our dogs experiences significant health issues and Helen and Simon are understanding, cautious and so meticulous in ensuring medication is given and that he is looked after correctly. Mix the love and affection alongside fantastic walks and interactions the dogs get when at Milo’s, the dogs come home exhausted but so contented! Helen and Simon truly treat them as one of their own. So long as Milo’s is open, our dogs will always be going there ❤️

I have nothing but positives to say about this business. So impressed with the service Milos have offered that we will never leave our boy with anyone else. I was so nervous about leaving our dog for the first time to go away but I had no doubt from my first contact with Milos that he would be left in good hands. From the onset, my communication with Milos was very professional and all of the forms required for booking requested appropriate and pertinent questions to ensure that full care could be provided for our dog whilst we were away. Our dog was booked in for a familiarisation visit before the booking and we were very happy with the environment in which he was to stay. Helen and her family were very welcoming and clearly love dogs - Dougie was very happy with a waggy tail confirming that he was very happy with the surroundings. When we away I was sent messages and lots of photos and videos and he looked like he was very happy and having a wonderful time. It gave me great comfort to have these updates and to see that he was being well looked after. We have him home now and he is exhausted after such a good time and lots of lovely long walks with new places to explore. I highly recommend Milos and will only ever use this service to look after our beloved pooch :)

My two dogs recently spent the weekend at Milo's Dog Hotel and I couldn't recommend this place enough! Milo's gave our treasured pets a wonderful home from home experience that they loved. With loads of outside space and regular countryside walks, they loved it! We also had regular updates from Helen including pictures. It was lovely to go away knowing that they were being looked after so well.

Milo's dog hotel is the only place I will send my 2 x furbabies. They are always treated as a part of the family, have lots of fun and seem to thoroughly enjoy themselves. Highly recommend.

So I've been going to Milo's 3 days a week with my besties, Simon and Helen for ummm, well I'm not so good at hooman time but basically forever and it's great. I get to play with my friends all day on the beach or in the woods. We also play in the paddock by the house and when I'm tired I can snooze by the Aga. Only thing is I think mum told them what training I'm doing so sometimes I get lessons. When I get home I am exhausted, which mum loves, the photo is of me when I've come home! I've even heard mum ask if they let hoomans book in. I think they must send 'school reports' every day as my mum always knows what I've been doing... I can't get away with anything. Love it here though, I'm even staying here for my holidays soon... can't wait. Love Bertie.

I have written a review of Milo's Dog Hotel before but I think it fully justified to repeat our huge thanks and gratitude to Helen, Simon and their wonderful children for taking such fantastic care of our precious pet. As always, he was looked after as if he was a member of their family and I am sure he felt very bored when he returned to our home! To find such wonderful care takes all the stress and anxiety away from leaving your pets knowing that they are so well cared for. Thank you all so much.

Our much-loved family dogs: Otis, a 12 year old Labradoodle and Cleo, a 4 year old Labrador Cross have been staying at Milos, whether it be for daycare, a sleepover or a longer board over the last year. We were so lucky to discover this doggie paradise! Helen and her family treat Otis and Cleo like family, and they absolutely adore going to stay. The excited cries begin on our approach, and we’re dragged into the house as soon as the car boot opens. What’s special about Milos is the attention to detail and the professional individual care provided to the ‘guests’, depending on their needs, all given with a great deal of love. We get updates, photographs, and videos daily of Otis and Cleo having fun which are great and reassuring to see – but quite honestly, we know they’re in the best hands and are having a ball!

Our two working cockers have the most wonderful time here. It means we can go away and not worry about them as we know Simon and Helen will be brilliant. Helen had to take one of our’s to the vet, and she made the insurance claim without me having to do anything. I would not hesitate to recommend Milo’s.

Choosing somewhere for your precious pet can be a very anxious time but you need look no further than Milo’s. Helen and her wonderful family treated our boy like he was one of their very own family - in fact, if he could talk I suspected that he would have asked to stay longer! I agree with all the praise others have written and we are so thankful and grateful to have found somewhere as exceptionally caring as Milo’s for our treasured dog to have a holiday too. My dog Bella stayed at Milo's a few weeks ago, and she had the most amazing time! I had photos every day of her adventures, and she looked so happy which was so reassuring for me! The facilities are great, and the dogs are certainly made to feel one of the family. We will definitely be back again. Thank you very much for being so lovely!!

Super friendly and professional, she puts a real big emphasis on what's best for the customer and their Dogs needs. You can really tell she has a real passion for making sure she's doing the best for the customer. our collie has had a few group walks with LDwalkies…having used several others in the area over the last year, this one is by far the one our dog benefits most from. she has matched our dog with 3 others of similar energy levels. she is respectful to our home and responds to enquires in a timely manner. our girl always comes home knackered after her run and we know she looks forward to her dog walker arriving now. furthermore she is very reasonably priced and much more affordable than many other companies in the area. strongly recommended service.

Polite, timely and reliable. LDwalkies has been taking our dog out the past few weeks and our tired pup is loving life. She has had lots of swims and decent walks thanks to this service. Would recommend.

Highly recommended! We have 5 Hungarian Vizslas in our home, and as a gundog breed, they are lively and may be considered a bit of a handful if you don’t know them. After initial introductions which Sax accommodated at short notice, she did a brilliant job with a home visit to care for the dogs while we were away for the day. She not only managed to identify each one individually by name and personality, but she ticked every box in terms of being responsible, caring, friendly and reliable. Sax demonstrated all the things you’d need to feel comfortable about leaving your pets (and the security of your home when leaving) in her very capable hands. Glad we have found our new ‘go to’ pet service provider, giving us peace of mind that our dogs will enjoy their time with her and be well managed.

Sax has taken the time to get to know my rescue dog Charlie who is rather nervous of people. Saxan took the time to 'bump' into us so Charlie could get used to her being near him and eventually built up to getting him in the van to go on group walks on a longline so he's not missing out on the fun but doesn't become a flight risk! Charlie loves his walkies with the Wags & Whiskers crew and comes back well exercised. I get lots of pictures and videos showing him having fun.

Wags and Whiskers Somerset, and in particular Sax, has accommodated our needs and taken the time to get to know Nova and understand where she is in her journey of life. Nova 🐾 has been on wonderful adventures and then been returned, clean and comfortable, home - so that I can focus elsewhere when life dictates. Thank you 🙏 …

Wags and Whiskers have been amazing at fitting in with the needs of our family and taking on our English Bull Terrier, Koda. Sax was very keen to hear about our training methods and ensure she continues to use the correct terminology to improve her time with Koda. She is very analytical and cares deeply for the pack and most importantly, the needs of the individual dogs. Every walk has been accompanied by a large selection of pictures and a rundown of what our dog has been up to! We couldn't be happier.

Nothing is ever to much trouble for Sax! She will always pick up Roo at late notice if she has the space when I need an extra walk for him. The walks are varied and he always comes home tired out and ready for a nap. Sax has really taken the time to get to know Roo and has a good understanding of his personality and behaviours. Roo gets so excited when he see's sax coming up the path to collect him. Roo has had the opportunity to mix with other dogs and have some one on one walks too. I am so pleased we decided to try a dog walker and now I really don't know how we managed before we had her. 😊🐾 Thank-you 🐶

My chihuahua absolutely adores Sax ! I’ve been really happy with all the updates I get from his walks and I am 100 % confident he is in safe hands when he is out and about walking or in the van. He is always returned towel dried which is a major plus when your interior is all cream and light grey ! I couldn’t recommend this dog walking service any less than a 10/10 !

Barney has the best time out with Sax and the rest of the pack on his walks! We can’t wait to hear how he gets on and always look forward to seeing the pictures after. Sax is so lovely and we couldn’t think of anyone better to take care of our mischievous little pup!
