We see how happy the dogs are when they come back from their walkies and we see the love they have for our 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks. We can highly recommend their services!

After trying several doggie schools without success, my dog developed bad habits and was expelled. However, since discovering Hipsterdogs, everything has been exceptional from the start. Not only does this place leave my dog Kobe mentally and physically exhausted, but he also receives top-notch training and goes on exciting adventures. The entire team is fantastic, and Kobe eagerly anticipates his pickups. I couldn't recommend Hipsterdogs more highly for pet owners seeking comprehensive care and positive results.

I contacted Hipster dogs after Timmy had a leg injury and needed some on leash walks throughout the day. Janet was really understanding and catered to my work day, providing 30min walks in between her group adventures. Once he was able to run again she was amazing at easing him into the adventure walks, used a step ladder to get in and out of the van and kept him on a long lead. Timmy absolutely loves his adventures with the Hipster team and it gives me peace of mind knowing he's looked after and happy. *the red suit is just another perk to ease his grass allergies haha

This is a very special team of real genuine dog loving and skilled people. Im so bloody glad I found them! I’ve been meaning to pop a review on here for ages and today I was reminded to do it when I happen to walk past a not so great pack walk in progress. With these guys you can be assured your fur kids are in great hands, which in an industry that’s unregulated, can be hard to be sure of. My two are absolutely in love with the whole team and sit by the door waiting for the hipsters van to pull in the driveway. They go out of their way to accommodate my dogs needs from putting on sunscreen to carrying one around when she had a sore leg so she didn’t miss out! They are worth every dollar because I know my dogs are in the best hands when they go out. Thank you so much!

Our puppy Scarlett absolutely loves her walks with Hipster Dogs - she gets lots of sociable time with the other dogs and a beautiful place to walk and play in the water. Janet is great with her and the fact that she does lots of training too is such a bonus. We come home from work to a happy and tired dog!

Janet and the team are absolutely awesome and go above and beyond to ensure our puppy is safe and happy. Janet and the team at Hipster Dogs are absolutely amazing at what they do. I love that I can put full trust into them while they take my girl out for adventures. Lucy also loves going out with team and gets super excited every time she sees the van pull up to pick her up. They also take plenty of photos and post them up everyday so you can see the fun your pooch is having!

Janet and the team are amazing! I can't recommend them enough if you are looking for someone to look after your dog. Peanut loves her adventure walks with the rest of her doggy pack! She also stays for the weekend when we go away and I know they look after her like she was their own dog. I trust them entirely. Such an awesome crew!!

Humphrey and I are so happy that we found Janet and her fantastic team. With a busy job I was worried that Humphrey wasn’t going to get the mental stimulus he needed during the day. Janet and her professional team keeps me informed when Humphrey has been picked up and dropped off. Although Humphrey is very old now, Janet still makes the walking sessions accessible for him. They even got Humphrey a little ramp to help him get in and out of the van. The team is reliable, caring and flexible. Thanks Janet you have been a huge help.

Our small dog Pepper (a Miniture Schnauser) loves the day service and seeing photos of her having fun with the other dogs is great. She is however exhasted on the following day be warned...We have also had our dog stay for the overnights while we were away which was also excellent.

We couldn’t recommend 4 Legged Fun highly enough - we have used them for several years and our dog absolutely adores them, and it’s clear the team also loves him. They are professional, friendly and flexible - exactly what you’d want. We are kept up to date with photos and videos of the dogs’ adventures and it’s a great comfort knowing our dog is so well looked after 🐶

Tosca, our 1 year old I-Love-Everybody has the time of his life at Four Legged Fun! He always has a day-long romp with the little dogs, and photos sent by staff throughout the day not only give hubby and I the assurance that he is safe and happy, but the photos are all keepers that we can share with fam and friends. The carers are A+, cheerful-- and sufficient to say Toss can't wait to get out of our car and into the arms of Tayla, Chelsea and the rest of the highly qualled staff. . Highly recommended.

Although I've never used this service, I live up the road and I can see their field from my home across the valley. The dogs always look and sound like they're having a wonderful time and it brightens my day!

Highly recommend! My partner and I are soo happy with K9 Heaven. We can see that our dog loves it there, and honestly it’s a big peace of mind knowing she is in good hands. We love the stories and posts you do everyday, it makes our day. And we know our baby and her friends are having such a great time. We appreciate the time, activities and energy you spent on these babies- from the daily walks, water fun and bath times 🐾 She is always excited to go, which is the best way to tell how much she likes it there!

During the trial process, the staff has been nothing but amazing regarding my queries and looking after my pup (special mention to Holly who has been dealing with me predominantly). The facilities and care K9 Heaven has offered thus far has exceeded my expectations. I can now go on my holiday knowing that Mac will be well looked after during his over night stays. After many failed trials at other day cares due to one of my boys being a cheeky fence jumper, K9 was my last option of hope and to my surprise they passed!! Their team never fails to be very helpful from our very first trial date up until now. I could honestly cry at the thought of my boys now being accepted. It’s no easy job catering for many dogs and then having one who jumps but their team is amazingggg!! Communication is top tier. Absolutely love K9 Heaven! It's a fantastic place with a warm, welcoming staff who treat every dog like their own. The facilities are top-notch, offering loads of fun and safe activities for the pups. My dog, Mocha, always comes home wagging his tail, full of joy and wonderfully tired from a day full of play. I couldn't ask for a better daycare experience! Highly recommend to all dog lovers!

We love the care and attention that k9 Heaven offer our dog. He is shy and takes a while to warm to new people and K9 Heaven are so patient and loving with him. He has the best time and we know he is well cared for. They also have an excellent grooming service.

Our doggo has been going to K9 Heaven for almost 2 years now and it's been the best decision we've made for him! We've tried a couple of other places in the past with varying levels of success but K9 Heaven far surpasses them all. We as humans highly recommend bringing your doggo here and well our doggo can't wait to get out the car when he knows where we're going and isn't as keen on coming home at pick up... The team are amazing, super caring and friendly. The farm runs that the team do with dogs seem to be the highlight of our doggo's day. Heaps of space with regular water for a dip and mud for those that like it dirty (they clean and dry the doggos before you get them at pick-up so no dirty cars). Very competitive prices in comparison for other options in the Auckland area and you truly get your money's worth and some. They regularly make improvements to the facilities, offerings and they even do regular surveys asking for feedback on how they can improve things. If you're looking for a doggie daycare or a doggie hotel for your pooch, look no further - this is the best in town! 🐕

My energetic Pup absolutely loves coming to K9 Heaven even after her first visit she was excited when she clicked on where she was going again. She loves being around other dogs so this is perfect for her to burn energy and socialize with other dogs. The team also takes photo which they post on there social media so you can see all the dogs very happy

k9 heaven is AMAZING!! My dog Zoey was a rescue and really shy and anxious around dogs and people when I got her at 9 months ( wasn’t socialized)k9 heaven staff has helped turn her into a happy , social secure dog , they are all amazing , patient and expert in all dogs from all backgrounds . Zoey is now 5 years old and still absolutely loves coming here . She always gets an amazing farm run and lots of cuddles from the amazing staff. I will always send her here as a fun outlet and it keeps her on track with remembering how to play well , with great manners with other dogs ( and people ) Cant thank you enough K9 heaven staff !!

You can trust these people with your best pal. Our fur child absolutely loves this place. He doesn't go on a regular basis but as soon as we reach the driveway entrance he cries with excitement. The staff are quite clearly dog lovers and are enthusiastic and passionate about what they do. It honestly looks like the dream job! One of my favorite things about these guys is their social media presence and photo updates. Rex won't be going anywhere else for daycare or boarding :)

Our dogs attend K9 Heaven regularly and always eagerly run through the door to all their friends, both human and canine. They are excited to be there and come home exhausted after their farm runs each day. We can highly recommend K9 Heaven as a great way to socialise your dog and an even better place to stay on long weekends or holidays. Best doggie hotel ever!

Antonia did a fabulous job with our older Schnack (mini Schnauzer / Jack Russell), she came home chilled out, happy and looking beautiful. Highly recommend.

What great women Antonia and Nell are! They treated our dog Topsy with such wonderful care and attention, and gave her a superb full groom at a very reasonable price. Their service is top rate and I recommend them to all. They have a very warm and welcoming place and all the in-house dogs were friendly, curious, and quirky. I loved (and wanted) them all.

To my amazement they offered free nail clipping for my pomeranian, also a shave of her paws and a brush. Great family friendly vibe with awesome service! Will be back for grooming 😊 …

Had a trial day here and was told my dog is not suitable for day care as he tries to escape, however my understanding is that a day care should be trained and prepared for situations that arise like this. Seems like they're not in it for the love of dogs and responsibility but for the money. Pleasant people to deal with however, I would suggest finding something a little more reliable and professional.

I left my dog and cat for xmas. Even though short notice, they accepted a booking and well took care of my pets. Price is reasonable and location also good. Just haven't checked facilities throughly but seems fine. Thanks again to owners.

Left our Labrador here over New Years Eve for around 3 nights. Just picked him up and he is Happy as Larry. Thankyou so much for taking care of our boy 😊 Just one minor is and I'm sure it is for safety reasons but we weren't allowed to see him off and were stopped at the gates but other than that reasonably priced paid $20 per night and at peak season would have expected to pay more. Overall good.

We leave our fur babies (Lana & Louie) here whenever we go away. They love the place so much and are always happy to see the owners. They have always come back home happy and well fed. Thank you Rowanglen Kennels for looking after our babies for us :) - Venessa

Great service and price

I saw the Korea Post ad and inquired via email, but they were very unfriendly. They are so insincere and unfriendly during the inquiry process, but I wonder if it is really a good place. The price is cheap per night, but if I were you, I would go somewhere else. I contacted the owner by email to ask for a quotation for multiple days then got an initial reply with price per night. I replied back to ask for a facility photo and also briefly explained the medical condition of my dog, age etc asking if it's okay. The owner replied back with one sentence "Hi, go look for another place."

My two dogs stayed at Bark Avenue for 3 weeks, it was the first time that the dogs were away from us for an extended period of time and we were quite nervous to begin with as our dogs are senior dogs. The staff at Bark Avenue were very friendly and helpful, very responsive with emails and had good communications. Bark Avenue posts photos of all the dogs on their Facebook page everyday and it was such a relief to see that my dogs were doing well. I highly recommend Bark Avenue and we would definitely take our dogs there again the next time we are away. Thank you!

Our dog Elle loved her time at Bark Avenue! It was great to see the her with the other doggos. She’s a medium sized dog with loads of energy and was put with larger dogs which matched her temperament so well. Firstly, I want to acknowledge and say how good the staff are to deal with and how lovely and clean the facilities that I saw were. My review and score only relate to the cattery. My three stars are for the staff and the cleanliness as a whole. It's very apparently that Bark Avenue feels like a kennel, with a small cattery attached. During the 10 days I had cats staying there, there wasn't a single photo or post on Facebook about the cats, but multiple a day about the dogs. The "deluxe unit" for two cats are small for the price (about the size of a double kitchen cupboard with two shelves on each side, which is a lot smaller than other places that charge less). Our taller, larger cat couldn't sit up comfortably, so I'm not sure how he found using the litter tray in such a confined space . The open area is about the size of a living room. It is clean and tidy and modern looking, but I imagine when it is full it is quite crowded. I'm unsure if they alternate "yard time" (time outside their cages) or whether all cats boarding are let out at the same time. You can also definitely hear the dogs barking from inside the cattery. I will say that my cats looked lovely, and well taken care of, but unfortunately there were a few things (as above) that would likely see me not return. I do hope they take this as constructive criticism, as it is intended.
