There are not enough stars…our Micro Bully stayed with Ruth, James and family whilst we were away on holiday and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Our dog was quite ‘stand offish’ (not aggressive just withdrawn) with other dogs and humans as we live rurally and she doesn’t have regular interaction with visitors and rarely meets unknown dogs on walks etc. so I really wanted to ensure that the place she stayed understood dog behaviour and made her feel like part of the family. I visited 4 other providers before being instantly reassured as soon as I met Ruth. Ruth wasn’t quick to just book her in, she wanted to make sure she would settle in her home and with her family, given our dog’s socialisation level. Ruth took the time to get to know her and settle her down, giving her space when she needed. During our holiday, Ruth’s communication and updates were so consistent and day by day I could see my shy, slightly neurotic dog coming out of her shell, being treated like a family member, not just by Ruth, but by Ruth’s whole family. The love and care they gave her far exceeded my expectations and watching my dog transform into a confident and playful member of the dog gang was so wonderful. I’ve attached some photos at the bottom. If you’d have told me my dog would be this comfortable in the company of loads of dogs, I wouldn’t have believed you! I was genuinely sad for it to come to and end as I could see just how much she had progressed in that short time. What Ruth and family did for her in 10 days would have taken us months of classes, socialisation days and training. She is transformed, in excellent health and full of confidence. She’s learned how to approach other dogs to play, grown comfortable with a wider circle of humans and as I say, there are not enough stars in the world. I am forever grateful to them for making this stay away so easy on our conscience and hearts. They are fantastic!

Chip has just come home from another amazing stay with Ruth and James. I can't recommend Ruthie's enough, the way Chip is looked after when he stays with Ruth and the family is absolutely brilliant! We get regular updates and the pictures and videos speak for themselves, our baby is clearly happy and comfortable there. Thank you all for looking after Chip, especially with his special medical needs 💙

Highly recommend!!! Ruth and her husband are fantastic and really took care of our dog. He never stayed anywhere else before but he was right at home at Ruthies home boarding. They came to pick him up from our wedding and had him over night, nothing was too much trouble for them. They also offered a trial sleepover a few weeks prior to make sure our dog was happy and got to know each other better before the big day. So so happy we found Ruth, very professional, and friendly! I'm sure our dog would have stay there if he had a choice ! This truly is a home from home boarding service. Thank you so much!

My dogs had an amazing experience at Ruthies home boarding, daycare & grooming , they were very well looked after as if they are their own and spoiled with lots of treats !! Ruth and James are amazing they give you regular updates of your dog thoughout the day !! The dogs were that happy and content they didn’t want to come home . I recommend Ruthies for doggy day care or home boarding as its an enjoyeable environment for the dogs and amazing for socialistion

We can't thank Ruth and her family enough for the wonderful home from home experience they have provided for our little princess, she really is part of their family whilst in their care which is exactly what we were looking for in a home boarding environment. As she is aging she has a few health issues and these were kept in check with her daily medication given which is a great comfort. She came home after two weeks looking happy and healthy and beautifully groomed and clean which I know won't have been an easy task. It is such a worry in trusting someone to love and care for your pet as you do but Ruth and family deliver this 100%. Thank you so much Ruth and family.

My puppy first went to Ruth for the odd session then for a full week . He was still getting up in the night and Ruth treated him as if he was her own .. the next time he visited he settled straight away and loved it.

My dogs go to Ruth each week for daycare. They've also stayed overnight and will soon be staying for 2 weeks. I trust her 100% as I know she cares for them like her own. She genuinely loves all of the dogs that go to her and they're treated to a home from home experience. I can't recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for doggy care!

Ruth has looked after Willow our Golden Retriever on several occasions, and Willow never wants to leave- she just has the best time. I would 100% recommend Ruthies!

We are currently on our extended retirement cruise around the canals of England and had to leave our boat in Nantwich for a few days whilst we returned home to Norfolk for medical appointments. The problem was that we had a dog and two cats on board! Jo at Weaver Pet Care came to the rescue, not only taking the dog into her home, but coming to the boat every day to feed the cats and deal with their litter trays. We would be very happy to use WPC again and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to others. (And the dog agrees) :-)

What Fantastic people our dog is so happy

We adopted Teddy earlier this year after he had been mistreated in his previous home meaning he has trust and confidence issues that we have been working on. For us, we needed someone who would be able to work with us and Teddy on his basic training while keeping in mind his individual needs and character and thankfully we found Maria. Maria was fantastic from start to finish keeping training informative and most importantly fun for Teddy and us and, with a small group size of only four dogs, we never felt abandoned during sessions. That, along with additional support between training sessions where we could ask any questions we had, however daft they seemed, made such a difference. We still have a lot of work to do, both on ourselves and with Teddy, but this has been a great start of the journey which we will definitely be continuing with Maria in the New Year. We can’t thank Maria enough for all the support so far and definitely recommend her for anyone out there wanting an engaged and fun training programme for them and their dog.

We don’t know what we would do without Maria and Steve, or as our very active springer spaniel Luna ‘Looney Tunes’ knows them as, Aunty Maria and Uncle Steve. We met Maria and Steve at puppy training. We thought it beneficial to start training with Luna as soon as possible. Maria taught us how to train Luna as a puppy but also what was best for her breed, being so active. What we learnt at puppy school, although considered basic commands have been fundamental to us and Luna’s training. Attending puppy school also had the added benefit of Luna being able to socialise with other puppies after class which helped to teach her what was acceptable play. After finishing puppy school, we decided to book Luna into day care. Luna attends day care once a week and absolutely loves it. She gets to play with her friends and spend time with Maria and Steve, people that love her like she was their own. As soon as she comes home, she eats and goes to sleep, very happy. If she misses a week because of holiday, we know it! We also decided Luna would benefit from further advanced training as she loves learning new things and we needed further training on a few things since puppy school, mainly her stays, loose lead walking and gate training. Maria taught us some invaluable tricks that worked for Luna and us. Now we can take Luna for a walk and not the other way round. Luna has also spent a night with her aunt and uncle and she loved that too. Leaving Luna somewhere that is a home from home is such a relief to us. We know when she is with Maria and Steve, she is safe, very well looked after, plays, has cuddles and has other friends there to keep her company. Luna loves cuddles more than treats and knowing that after such a hard day of playing with her friends she gets to snuggle on the sofa between her aunt and uncle with a blanket is what makes Maria and Steve’s doggy services stand out from all the others. We have no hesitation whatsoever dropping Luna off and leaving her with Maria and Steve as we know when we pick her up she will still be one very happy Luna ‘Looney Tunes’.

We have recently discovered Train Me and My Dog and cannot praise it highly enough. We have completed the Teachers Pet 2 course and learnt so much. Maria is a fantastic teacher, taking each dog forward from their own strengths or needs. The sessions were relaxed & fun but also useful. She has also taught us so many breed specific tips which we are using. We regularly use daycare & Ivy really loves going. We are so happy with the standard of care, time & attention given from Steve & Maria. Excellent!!

We were recommended Maria by a friend who was using her services. We initially approached looking for advice on our best approach for our new family member. Maria listened and took time to understand our goals and considered the best options.We enrolled on a puppy training class. The atmosphere was informal but very well coordinated and very successful, we have a puppy that we feel is still very much a puppy but the tools to help her develop as well us develop with her. They also have boarding facilities and day care, both of these we have used and continue to use. The daycare is very good for our pups social skills and we have a family member who is social with other dogs and understands how to interact. Boarding service is very reassuring to use as we know Maria and her Steve treat our little pup with the same love and care as we do. We really cant recommended training me and my dog enough. You and your furry family member will enjoy. Thank you Maria and Steve.

Me and my puppy completed the puppy school course with Steve. The course was very enjoyable, structured lessons delivered in a way that was easy to understand. My pup is also booked in for home boarding for a couple of weeks in August and had her assessment day last week. She had a great time and was exhausted afterwards. Steve and Maria are lovely and it is very clear they have a passion for what they do.

We first came across Maria and Steve at Train Me and My Dog when we were looking for Puppy training classes. The beginner classes were really good and we learnt a lot from Steve on how to start to get our new puppy trained and also how we should act around her to get the best from her. At the end of the six classes we felt much more confident with Toffee (our Jackapoo) and we’re so impressed with Steve and Maria’s obvious love of dogs that we have enrolled for more training on the advanced classes with Maria which we have found to be extremely beneficial. Toffee has also boarded with them whilst we went on holiday for two weeks. We were nervous to leave her anywhere as she was still a puppy but we needn’t have worried as Steve and Maria treated her like she was one of their own dogs and we liked the fact that regular pup dates & photos were put on Facebook - Toffee was clearly enjoying herself. Toffee has also been to socialisation classes with big dogs as we wanted her to be confident with all dogs and this proved to be an excellent way of introducing our new puppy to other dogs of all sizes. Toffee now regularly attends doggy day care and is always very keen to go to Steve or Maria for a fuss on arrival - she clearly loves going and we would have no hesitation in recommending any of their services.

I highly recommend the services and support offered at Train Me and My Dog. Maria and Steve are always so helpful and have provided us with guidance and information which has been invaluable. Our girl always loves going to day care, she looks forward to her visits and sleepovers and is always very happy and content on return. I never have to worry about her whilst I am away as I know she is in such safe hands. The dogs have so much fun, have variety and stimulus throughout the day and are cared for by an exceptionally experienced team. Maria and Steve really know all of the dogs and understand their characters. An outstanding service.

Would always recommend Maria and Steve at Train Me & My Dog, for any doggie needs :-) We originally found them when looking for somewhere for our new Vizsla puppy to have an overnight stay; and have used every service since - training, boarding and daycare. Maria's training is brilliant, and with such a high energy pup, it was definitely worth the investment. They are just fantastic with Cookie, and I am not sure I have ever seen a depressed dog before, but she is every time she comes home!

I would 100% recommend Train Me & My Dog to train take care of your four legged friend. Due to a friends recommendation I first contacted Maria during lockdown as we had become the proud parents of Max a black lab puppy & we wanted to take him through basic training. Joining the online puppy training was the best thing we could have done for Max as not only did he develop his manners we found a fantastic place for him to home board over the summer holidays. He stayed with Maria & Steve for two weeks and he loved it. We included some further training in his stay and he came back to us more socialised and well behaved. Maria even did a video so we could see the techniques used. Max now goes to day care twice a month, not because we need him to but because he enjoys it so much and keeping him more socialised is key to his overall development.

We have used Marie and Steve from day 1 My puppy started off with Maria and puppy school. Excellent training course for my puppy and myself. Learning all the basic skills. Maria takes pride in her job and won't give in until she is happy with the lessons. Cobey passed puppy school no problems. Then we had a fun day with Maria and Steve a group of dogs had a fun packed play day . I have also used Marie and Steve's boarding service. And I must say nothing is to much trouble. It's home from home. No out door Kennels. All in the comfort of there own home. Lots of cuddles and love. This couple are a 100% dedicated to there job. And I will definitely be going back again and again. Thank you both again Such lovley people I can call friends.

Thank you Waggy Tails for changing our Wolf care experience for the better! Doggy day care might seem like such a fun and exciting idea when you get a new puppy! But after being told they don’t have time to send any updates, not supervising a little Wolf near big doggies, coming home soaking wet with big chunks of hair missing and no explanation, our experience wasn’t pleasant! I was very apprehensive to let anyone else look after him. But since finding Waggy Tails we have had a much more positive experience. I get regular updates (including lots of cute pictures) which really settles my mind when I’m at work! They show real care to him and respect when they come into our home! Wolf absolutely loves the team and he’s always so happy to see them. Would really recommend Waggy Tails to anyone 🐾

Waggy Tails are a life saver when it comes to them popping over to spend some quality time with Kaiser when we are both out on work commitments. They certainly have the gift with dogs, especially Kaiser who is quite a large dog. We can't recommend them enough and trust them implicitly when coming over to visit.

Waggy Tails Pet Care is simply the best dog walking service you could possibly wish for your pet. I feel reassured that my dog Hendrix is in safe hands with Neil and Marianne. Our spaniel Rowan has received regular visits from Waggy Tails for over a year now and I cannot fault their absolutely amazing services! Marianne and Neil are reliable, friendly, dependable, accommodating, trustworthy and have incredible time management and communication skills. Very good value for money considering the 1:1 nature of the visits and the photo updates each time are proof of how happy and content Rowan is in their wonderful company. We can go on holiday with the full confidence that our Fur Baby is well taken care of while we are away. I love the daily photo updates on Whatsapp, you don’t even get the chance to miss them. We wholeheartedly recommend Marianne and Waggy Tails.

Julie & I cannot praise Waggy Tails service highly enough. Marianne & Neil visited a our two Jack a Poos everyday throughout the year while we were at work. They are very caring and professional and have a love for their work - seldom found these days. The dogs really enjoyed their company and we enjoyed the daily pupdate photos that they sent to us.We thoroughly recommend them and needless to say will use them again when we need them.

Cuba our little Yorkie has just got back from a 17 day holiday at Waggy Tails and he was so happy to see us on our return that his tail never stopped wagging. Marianne and Neil have been professional from the onset. We also got regular pictures of Cuba sent to us and regular updates about Cuba’s well being while we where away on holiday. It’s very reassuring to have regular updates about Cuba. Oh and always on hand are their children who regularly give Cuba plenty of cuddles. We where so impressed with the care and attention Cuba received that we’ve booked another holiday for Cuba February 2019. Thanks you Waggy Tails you certainly live up to your name. 😊

Marianne recently look after our cat Butters whilst we were on holiday for 5 days. I would thoroughly recommend waggy tails pet sitting service! It gave us piece of mind that our lovely cat was safe and well looked after whilst we were away. It was also nicer for our cat to be at home rather than in an unfamiliar cattery with not much freedom. Marianne, was thorough in finding out about our cat by visiting beforehand and it was so nice to get the photo updates via WhatsApp each day 😊 she even fed our fish and watered the plants, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend waggy tails!

Our old rescue was treated with care and patience by Neil and Marianne. They are reliable, friendly and genuinely love and look after your 4 legged friends. We are moving away and will be very sad to leave but would recommend Waggy Tails without reservation.

We left our dogs for the first time time in five years when we went abroad at the end of November. Our previous dog/house sitter had stopped doing it so this was the first time with Stacey. Our dogs loved her and she kept us supplied with photos and comments for the whole week. They were very well looked after and perfectly content when we got home. In addition (a big bonus for me) the house was spotless. I would hardly have known that someone had been staying. Thank you, Stacey.

Stacey is absolutely brilliant. My husband and I got married in May 23 and were only allowed our dog Arnie there for part of the day. She came to meet Arnie a couple of days before just so they were settled together and even brought us a bottle of wine as a wedding gift. She then came to the venue to pick Arnie up and looked after him at the cottage we’d rented until our guests got home at the end of the night. She sent us regular updates and photos which put our mind at ease knowing Arnie was happy with her. Highly recommend using Stacey!

We recently used stacey while we went away, being a home boarders ourselves and always being here with our pets. I was very nervous to leave them. But stacey took on both our dogs, cat , rabbits chickens, ducks and surprise baby rabbit while we were away for a week and I felt completely at ease, we stayed in contact and I came back to happy pets, a very tidy house, beds stripped and milk and bread ready for our return home. I will definitely be using her again and recommending her on to people through our home dog boarding too. Thank you again stacey xxx

Stacey, is wonderful with our pets, our dogs love her so much. Coming home from a two week holiday, we found our pets were very well looked after, they were so happy and content. Our home was clean and tidy, it was nice to think someone was at home and that made us calm and happy on holiday xx

Called stacey last week to arange dog sitting for my 2 . She arrived at exactly the time we agreed . She was very professional and spent time playing with 1 of my dogs and the other 1 who is very nervous even showed signs of trust which even shocked me . Shes even coming back next week to see the dogs again before she comes back to look after them for a week .

Professional, knowledgeable and friendly approach to her work, Stacey is quick to make the dogs and owners comfortable and trusting. 10/10.

We have put our border collie and border collie cross into Primchurch for two individual nights over the last two weekends. I'd already had a chance to check out the kennels, which was great, but was still unsure what the dogs would think! Su and Paul were brilliant, and the dogs settled really quickly, and clearly have taken a shine to both Su and Paul. They've come back happy and relaxed and I'm really pleased to have found somewhere we're happy to use if and when we need to.

Only place I'd trust with my dog......dog is over the moon when he knows where he's going.

Although this is not the doggy Hilton it is a warm, friendly, caring place to leave your much loved pet(s). The team clearly love animals and show real interest in your pet and making sure they get the best care and attention during their stay. We left our 2 dogs for 2 weeks and they showed no signs of stress or anxiety when we picked them up. Happy to fully recommend!

Fantastic place to leave your dog! Su could not have been more helpful, we left Bailey with her for a couple of days while we moved house, and he had a whale of a time, running round their lovely big field with her two dogs. Bailey will be going to visit regularly once a week for a ‘play date’ giving me time to visit family. Thoroughly recommend!

Of course, we are very selective of where we would leave our dog. She is a Border Collie, which brings it's own issues such as boredom. Primchurch are brilliant, caring, professional and they quickly created a strong bond with Gwen. Absolutely would not go anywhere else.

Loved it. Friendly and clearly like dogs, rather than it just being a business. Our labrador puppy after 2 nights stay was relaxed and happy when we collected and clearly liked the owners.

Best kennels ever. Our dogs love going and I never need to worry as I know they will be well looked after.

Primchurch Kennels is one of the best in the area. Paul and Su are absolutely lovely and it's amazing to see how far they have come and the improvements they've made in the relatively short time they've been there really. Warm and welcoming, they really care about finding the dogs the right homes. Please contact them if you're interested in rejoining, volunteering or donating.

Lovely people, they showed us all round and discussed all their procedures with us, really happy to leave our dog in the care.
