caryle is my dog Reggie’s other mother. she really loves Reggie and he is a part of her extended family. I am so grateful for everything that caryle does for both Reggie and I. i have a confident, happy little man in no small part to her care.

Our pup LOVES doggy day care at All Pets. Caryle is very special to our pup and us! She even looked after him at our wedding and he went for a sleep over at hers (that's how much we trust her!). Our pup has had a few health issues and it gives us peace of mind having a qualified veterinary nurse looking after him. The pack walks have really helped our boys confidence and he has made some amazing doggy friends :)

I have no hesitation recommending Caryle as have visited a couple of times and it's a great environment for the pups. She takes wonderful care of them, just what you want!

Benito always has a wonderful day at doggy daycare at Allpets. Caryle is great with him and very reliable :-)

I contacted Allpets through their website. Three days later, no response at all. Apparently, they can't be bothered.

Daisy - my dozy retriever, has been coming here almost every weekday for 8 years. She loves it. The staff are great & know all their dogs - although they're still not always fast enough to stop my girl shooting into the kitchen to snaffle any dinners left out! 😆 One greedy but very happy dog. …

I cannot recommend Gone to the Dogs Kennels and Cattery in Judgeford highly enough! They went above and beyond to accommodate a last-minute booking over Christmas for my golden retriever, Bailey, and also took fantastic care of my two British Shorthair cats, Rocket and Ivy. The facilities are absolutely top-notch, clean, and well-maintained. The team’s customer service is simply amazing—they were so friendly, understanding, and genuinely cared about my pets’ well-being. A huge thank you to the staff for making this experience stress-free and ensuring my pets were so well cared for. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional pet care!

Feel very relaxed leaving our dogs here to stay. They relate to and accept each dog’s individual personality traits and accommodate accordingly for example if a dog isn’t good with socialising not a prob they can still stay and get separate exercise time. Awesome staff and place. Stayed 3 times now and booked in for next summer.

My 5 month old Rottweiler girl has stayed at Gone with the Dogs twice now for boarding and day care. I can't recommend this place enough as she loves it here and is coming out of her shell. We will keep returning.

Thankful for gone to the dogs who is willing to accept our naughty Mao Mao while we head home for a short trip . Love that we get to see him on Instagram which help us to overcome our lovesickness for him! Thumbs up to the team for such lovingly towards him and us. Definitely will recommend to anyone!

The staff are absolutely brilliant with our four dogs, two of whom are very nervous rescues with a traumatic past (from a 35-dog hoarding situation). The staff are so patient and kind with them. When we arrived to pick them up last time, they were all having the time of their life in the sun in the enclosed area outside the outer building where the small dogs reside. I feel happy leaving them at Gone to the Dogs because of the security and also all the love and cuddles the dogs get. Worth every penny! Highly recommend.

We have done two visits in the last two weeks. Clear instructions on food, and medication. Both times he’s come back underfed and this second time was for a week. We weighed him and he has lost three kg. On top of that he came home with a massive infection around his mouth. No one noticed it or let us know. It’s really obvious and painful, and should have been taken to vet, as he’s struggling to eat also. Won’t recommend anyone coming here.

Bailey loves her twice weekly daycare sessions & always worn out after playing with friends all day. The couple of boarding stays (1 X 3 nights, 1 X 8 nights) were hassle free & she was wagging her tail with excitement at the first drop off after the boarding stay, so happy to be back! Staff are amazing with friendly personalised service, including letting is know when she was a bit off her normal excitable behaviour. Highly recommend!

Our two Cavoodles loved their 7 night stay. The team were excellent and had our dogs with a smaller group as they were a little shy. Well done team! Dogs are already booked for a second stay in February.

Highly recommended! Very caring pet sitters who genuinely care about our dog. They always do their best to meet our dogs needs & our requests on the day. I feel 100% comfortable and relaxed when I know they are visiting as they'll take good care of our dog. If there's ever a problem they'll go out of their way to try and sort it.

Creature comforts (Tyla, Leah and Shirley) looked after our 3 cats while we were away for the last week, such an awesome service for very shy cats who are comfiest in their own home. A great weight off our shoulders not worrying about them while on holiday with the daily updates (although they hid from the photos a lot!) Awesome service, highly recommended :)

Whilst the service appeared to be what I was looking for and I signed up and agreed to having a pet sitter come and feed my fur baby, I did not expect that over the course of 9 days three seperate individuals would be given access to my property to feed my cat!!! This was not explained to me. First concern - three strangers were inside my house when only anticipated one, and how was there continuity of care for my cat with all these strangers coming and going? One feeder did a great job, but the other two were average and one even copy and pasted his daily report, and failed to stick to the agreed feeding times. I have reached out to the service but the silence is deafening !!!

I have 3 fur babies at home (2 cats and a rabbit) and leaving them for work trips is always hard. But knowing creature comforts will come round and feed my precious souls makes the trip a little bit more bearable. I love receiving the daily reports with photos of the pets and cute summary of what your pets have been up too. They clean litter trays (and even hairballs) top up hay baskets, feed and for me even empty the dehumidifier. It's fantastic and means my older cat can stay in her familiar surroundings putting less stress on her. The carers provide pats and treats (what I provide) and you csn see the care for the job come through in the reports. You have to provide Vet details and confirm the carers can take your pet to the vets if they fo d any concerns- which again is a huge relief to know. Highly, highly recommended for anyone in the Wellington region if planning to go away. Whilst all the carers have been fantastic a special shout out to Tyla- my boy cat is very shy and timid of strangers yet they managed to get him to stay inside whilst they visited and even got pets from him- so a proper cat whisper there. :)

We've just come back from a week away to a contented and unstressed cat after daily feeding visits from Byndie and team. The daily emails and photos are much appreciated. We've used Creature Comforts previously and came back to a clean home when the cat was sick one night - can't ask for more than that!

My partner and I are new to Wellington and don't know many people who could watch our cat when we went away; Creature Comforts came highly recommended and it is purrrfect. Great service! We have an elderly kitty who needs her nailed trimmed but won’t let us do it! Creature Comfort offers an easy, low-stress way for our kitty to get that done in the comfort of her own home. We def recommend the wonderful cat friendly staff at Creature Comforts in Wellington!

As our lovely cat got older, she would get stressed to the point of illness if we used a cattery. Creature Comforts was recommended by a co-worker, and I wouldn't use anybody else now. Cally is safe in her own space and has somebody come attend to her every day. Great feedback and information about each visit means we can feel safe. Highly recommend.

I was very anxious about putting my 2-year-old collie into Kennels, but should not have worried. The way Homelands run their overnight stays is great - with plenty of play time (with small number of dogs), and plenty of rest/down-time. Cooper was happy and healthy when I picked him up, and made some girlfriends I was told :) Homelands are very reasonably priced, with caring staff. Will definitely be going back.

Our 1 year old Rottie, Klaus, stayed here a while back and made friends with a German shepherd who was next to him. We were hesitant as Klais is our big fur baby but he was happy and well looked after.

Efficient, helpful staff who were happy to cater for specific needs. Nice roomy kennel space, and our dog Bryn was happy and had been well cared for.

As fairly new dog owners, we were a little nervous leaving our boisterous 7 month old GSD, Freyja, for a week and a bit, while we went on a long overdue and relatively short notice holiday. The staff at Homelands are kind, compassionate and knowledge. They went the extra mile to ensure Freyja was well looked after, happy and comfortable. She was paired with an older dog, who it seems has taught her some manners! We received photos when we asked and feeding her the food we provided was of no issue. She smelled of lovely lavender on pickup, after her bath, before she got home and prompley rolled around to mark her scent. I couldn't recommend this team more, and Freyja won't be staying at any other Kennels, because I know I can rely on Homelands. Freyja had a blast. Thank you for making this a very easy and stress free process for us all.

Have had biggie 2 times at homelands and it was so easy to book him in, pricing was pretty reasonable too, and he is so happy going compared with other kennels we’ve tried. 10/10

We booked our Border Collie into Homelands for 5 weeks after not being able to find a dog sitter to look after him for the whole time while we were on a long planned holiday. Because he had had some “not so good” experiences at other kennels, we were reluctant at first, however after a couple of trial sessions we could see he loved it at Homelands. During the trip the team at homelands kept us updated with photos whenever we requested them, which helped to lassure us that he was being well looked after. When we picked him up after returning home, while excited to see us, we could see that he had been well looked after He was in great condition, there was no change in his personality and he had even made some new friends. Highly recommended and will definitely be using this service again.

Guess what-- Ive been part of Little Wag's family 4 years today. I've loved every minute of it & cant wait to get there. Natalie greets me & Mum at her gate & I have the obligatory lift of the leg ( usually nothing there) before joining the rest of the gang. Natalie is fantastic & me & my mates cant get enough of her cuddles especially at nap time. My UGH always comments on what I've been up to as she checks out the photos Nat sends her. I,m so lucky to be part of Little Wag's family. So celebration for me today. Love from Beau

My pup is wary of new people and places but she settled right in and now runs out and jumps into the van on her daycare days. Natalie and her awesome in-home daycare is totally recommended. It's so easy with pick-up and drop-off. One less thing for me to do!

We were on the waiting list for Little Wags for a long time and it was so worth the wait! Natalie was incredibly kind and supported by a highly anxious puppy to feel safe and secure. Ash was given several settling visits to get used to the space which she really found helpful. Natalie is a true dog person and genuinely wants what is best for dogs. Ash, who isn't a fan of many humans, would run to Nat tail wagging when she came to pick her up in the mornings, this is a massive achievement. I loved the daily photos posted to see how Ash was going and Nat would go the extra mile and send me photos of videos when Ash started to really let her guard down and enjoy herself. Ash really benefited from being at Little Wags, it helped her confidence and reduced anxiety around other dogs when we are out in public now.

We are sadly moving away and will not be able to send our two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to see Natalie and her team any more. Lucy and Milly almost burst with excitement when they hear her van coming up our driveway - and it is a scramble to see who can get into the van first! We have been using Little Wags for almost 7 months and cannot recommend them enough. Not only does Natalie take care of the dogs but she always tries to go that extra mile to accommodate our busy schedules and fit the girls in. It will be really hard for us to find somewhere as special as Little Wags, the care and attention she gives the dogs is outstanding, she treats my dogs as if they are her own. Little Wags is not just a business but a place where you know your “babies” will be well cared for, loved and pampered. They love the garden environment that has been built especially for the dogs to have fun and play, and when they are eventually tired out, they can go and relax on the couches where the team are always at hand to give cuddles. Everyday Natalie posts pictures on her Facebook page so you can see how much fun the dogs are having, but when they come home and sleep all evening you know they had a really great day. Little Wags is a fabulous doggie daycare. Natalie has created an excellent establishment perfect for wee dogs, with lots of play and stimulation and some quiet time too. Eddie loves it and it has been the best thing for him since we lost his house buddy last year. Natalie's pick up and drop off service makes it so convenient too. I highly recommend Little Wags.

Little Wags is fantastic, our puppies adore her, and it's obvious they love their day with their second mum. Natalie is very accommodating and caring, we didn't hesitate to pickup more days with her when they became available, and you shouldn't either. Highly recommended.

Tank & Ike have been going to LW for some time now and just love going. They are so happy when Natalie arrives and they are off. LW does not just provide play for my boys but also discipline and nurturing. Both boys behaviour has improved since attending and Natalie will always let you know if something is not right or she notices something with your fur baby. Cannot say enought good things about LW.

Catherine took care of our Kobe for two weeks whilst we were overseas, and he seemed so happy playing on the beach and in the lounge with the other pups. When Kobe became unexpectedly ill, Catherine promptly took him to the local vet and kept us informed every step of the way. Thank you so much Catherine for your care and attention!

We highly recommend Catherine for doggy daycare and boarding. Charlie was a timid dog when she joined daycare and has benefitted from regular socialisation with other dogs and she adores Catherine! Charlie just spent 10 days happily boarding with Catherine in a safe and loving home environment. Charlie was well cared for and happy on our return. Catherine took great care of Nessie our 2 year old dog while we were away on a recent holiday. From the start Catherine’s approach and understanding of dogs was immediately reassuring that Nessie would be both well cared for and have a good time. Nessie settled really quickly in Catherine’s home and with the other dogs. We received photos & videos of the dogs out walking, exploring new dog parks and relaxing at home almost daily. Nessie was clearly having a exceedingly good time and was being well cared for. I highly recommend Catherine as a dog minder and we would definitely leave Nessie with her again.

The service Catherine provides at Salty Dogs is fantastic and this is evident in how excited our little cavoodle is to go there. We get sent photos and videos of the various adventures the dogs get to go on during the day. I think it’s fair to say that the time our dog spends at daycare with her friends is the highlight of her week.

Catherine is amazing and has provided so much love, kindness and support for our dogs, present and for our recently departed boy. We are blessed to have her in our lives, Poppy loves the walks when we are at work for the day.

Our dog Squid is our princess. We were worried about taking her from the daycare she's been at for 12 years to move onto somewhere new. Salty Dogs has exceeded our expectations in every way. We would never have thought that for the same price, Squid would get one on one attention (as opposed to 20:1 attention), two walks a day, quality sofa snuggles and in the care of Catherine, who clearly is a dog person. Squid loves Catherine who recognises her needs as an older girl, so much so that Squid HOOTS with excitement on the drive to Salty Dogs. We should have moved her sooner. 100% recommend.

I was so thrilled to have my precious boy dropped off after spending a lovely weekend with Catherine. He came home relaxed and happy. Catherine sent me lots of photos and a video of Reggie running around the beach. I would highly recommend Catherine.

My dog Hero had such a fun time with Catherine and Hugo, he was happy and relaxed throughout and has been very expressive since he came home and keen to play.
