We are so pleased that we found Rachel's pet care services. Our little boy loves his walks and staying over when we have been away. He is cared for like 1 of her own. He has regular weekly walks and is so excited to see Rachel. Rachel is friendly, reliable and trustworthy. I wouldn't use anyone else.

I have never had to use pet care services before, so handing over my house keys and beloved kitty to a complete stranger was a little nerve racking! However on meeting Rachel she put my mind at rest immediately. She is a lovely lady, with many years experience. Litter tray and bowls immaculate on return and even received a photo of our kitty when we were away, who actually came out from her safe place to say 'hi'. Very unusual, so Rachel must have the magic touch! Would definitely recommend to anyone, thanks again Rachel! X

We felt so relaxed leaving Milo in Rachel’s care. Milo had proper walks everyday, twice a day & had the best holiday himself. He made a new best friend with Rachel’s dog Ted which was so lovely! We highly recommend Rachel’s Pet Care Services.

Lucy spent a week with Rachel while we were on our honeymoon. Lucy absolutely loved her time there, we could see how happy she was in all the photos we received. Her and Ted were best pals and she also loved her daily pack walks. We will absolutely be using Rachel again as we felt really comfortable leaving lucy with her knowing she was in good hands. We have been using Rachel‘s pets care for a few months now and can thoroughly recommend her. We have been unable to walk our dog Betsi, because of illness and decided to ask Rachel if she could give her two walks a week. Rachel is really flexible and Betsi loves her walks with her. We are now able to walk Betsi ourselves, but have decided to keep going with Rachel as Betsi enjoys it so much. I can thoroughly recommend her services.

We have used Rachel for years to take care of our cats while on vacation. It’s great that they can stay in their home and have Rachel come to them twice a day for feeding and litter cleaning. She’s very good with them and obviously cares about them. Highly recommended.

Rachel walked our dog, Poppy, while we were on holiday and did a cracking job. Poppy loved the walks, enjoyed the change of scenery and loved being with the other dogs. Very happy with how it all went, it couldn't have been any better.

Rachel came highly recommended when we were looking for someone to feed our cat when we had to go away unexpectedly. She fitted us in at fairly short notice and we were impressed with the professional way she looked after our cat. We were a little nervous about how our cat would react to someone she didn't know (she's a rescue cat with trust issues), but we needn't have worried - she was very comfortable with Rachel on meeting her and seemed totally unfazed when we returned home. We (and our cat) are very happy and will certainly be using Rachel again in the future!

Absolutely brilliant having friends for pets looking after our Gilly while we were away. She is very fussy and due to her size, not everyone's favourite dog but Kate and Gilly got on so well we were a bit worried that she (gilly) wouldn't Want us back. I cannot recommend Friends for Pets Penarth enough! Steph has been looking after our cats for a few years now and when Jimi developed diabetes last summer we thought trips away were a thing of the past, but no, Steph is trained to administer insulin and she was able to look after him for us. Steph genuinely cares for her clients and their pets. She sends regular updates, photos, videos or social media posts, so you still feel connected to your pets while you’re away. It’s also things like leaving birthday cards & gifts when she knows you’ve been away for that reason that sets her apart from any other pet sitter. We really value the service that Steph and her team provide-thank you & keep up the great work!!

Jaxon joined the Woodland Walkies fur club about 3 weeks ago. He enjoys playing and walking with all of his new friends. Luke has him twice a week for daycare! He comes home very happy and tired from his busy days! Kirstie Luke and Kellan are always very helpful with any questions we might have! Highly recommended for happy contented dogs .

We had never left Snoopy with anyone outside the family and naturally I was nervous- after meeting Luke I felt confident that Snoopy was in great safe hands - Kirstie was also wonderful. 3 times every day we had videos of Snoopy having a fantastic time with the other dogs on his walk, it was so lovely. Snoopy was well cared for since returning and taking him for walks ourselves we noticed a big improvement when on the lead also not pulling so much when encountering other dogs. We have been using Woodland Walkies for over 5 years and have been delighted with the service. Kirstie and Kellen have been fabulous and shown such care and love for our black lab Bella. Luke has joined the team and we now have another black lab Max who is enjoying his daily walks just as much as Bella is. I can’t recommend this company and it’s service highly enough.

Having just moved to Penarth (during a global pandemic!) we wanted to find a reliable dog walker who can adapt to our quite frankly sporadic lifestyle... Both mine and my partner's jobs have demanding working hours, changing from night to day work, and it's different each week. The flexibility we have with Woodland Walkie's is really fantastic. We don't need to sign up to a weekly regiment - simply log into the portal and book as we need. Poncho our schnauzer returns from her walks having had a great time with the other dogs. She's knackered and sleeps all day until we get home from work. We know she's in good hands when we leave.

Luke has been looking after Monty for 5 months now, since he was 4 months old. He has him at least twice a week for doggy day care. Monty adores Luke and loves all his walks with the other dogs which I can see from the numerous videos that are posted daily. The best thing for me is the flexibility that is given and the ability to book and pay online. Luke treats him like family which is all I can ask for. I would highly recommend.

Woodland Walkies offers excellent dog walks, day care and over nights in Penarth. George, our border terrier, has enjoyed all three over the past few months since we started using the service. It's professional, reliable and kind. Love the videos. Thank you Luke.

Always a great service, Cody enjoys the experience each time. They always follow instructions and always take a consistent amount of time. Had some issues with appointment mix ups but that's nothing. I don't understand 1 star reviews from people that get mad about them cutting out matted fur, brushing your dog isn't the sole responsibility of the groomer, you have a duty of care to your pet and should be doing your best to prevent mats.

Fantastic team! Dropped my 2 scruffy pups off at 10.40 and they were both done and looking great within an hour and a half! And both pups came out with big smiley faces so zero complaints here! Thank you ladies :)

Decided to switch to Jess Takes The Lead after a bad experience with another groomer and only glowing recommendations from others about JTTL, and with complete sincerity can say it was a great decision! Our pup Eddy was booked in with Katelyn and as soon as I dropped him off could see the care and affection they treated him with, and his calm demeanour when I picked him up compared to his eagerness to leave with other groomers was a very positive experience as an owner. Not only that he’s also so soft, fluffy & perfectly trimmed he’s been getting compliments all day! He looks good and we can tell feels good. Over joyed with the positive experience we had with Eddy’s first groom here and already rebooked for him. Strongly recommend to other dog owners in Cardiff looking for someone they can trust! Amazing service! They did a great job with shaving my dog (I have a big labradoodle) Staff was lovely to both me and my dog. Also very good value for money! They charged me a fair price (unlike many other places) Would 100% recommend!

Our dog absolutely loves day care with Jess and the rest of the team. Everyone there is lovely and they take such good care of the dogs. The groomers there always do an excellent job as well, he always comes back smelling lovely!

We’ve used this groomer twice now, the first time, Barney was there for around 4 hours and when we collected him he looked amazing! A completely different dog. You could see the groomer enjoyed they’re work. The second time we had an afternoon appointment 3pm, by 4.15 Barney was ready to collect which we thought was quick considering how long he was there last time. On collecting him, he’d been shaved right to the skin, his ears hadn’t been trimmed and matts were left, fur was uneven around his face and eyes. Completely disgusted at how looked when he came out, the job looked rushed and who ever cut him didn’t show any consideration to the fact that he is our dog. £58 for a job that my child could of done better. Safe to say we’ll never use this service again, Barney hasn’t been been right since going to the groomers, he’s been hiding since he’s come home, so I can’t imagine how he was treated when he was there! Completely over priced, I didn’t even want to leave one star

My two dogs have been getting groomed and walked with Jess since they were puppies and we couldn't be happier. After a bad experience walking them on my own when they were only a few months old I was too scared to walk them again without someone. Only a few months of regular walks with Jess and the staff, their behaviour on lead dramatically improved and they actually had recall when off lead. I can now happily walk them on my own. Jess has also being able to accommodate last minute comfort breaks when we have being delayed getting home. Thank you.

We have been using PontK9 for 3 years now for regular walking services and more recently, day care and overnight boarding. They are wonderful! They always treat our dog as if their own, taking her to a variety of places and giving her a thorough run out so that she always comes home tired and happy. We have never been let down when it comes to us having had to make last minute plans or changes and they are discreet and trustworthy. Highly recommend them without hesitation! 5* for sure!

Pontk9 is THE BEST dog walking and sitting service we could have asked for. Dee is an absolute professional and runs a tight ship, which makes us feel so confident in the business as a whole. Our one-year-old spaniel Wally has been going on walks with PontK9 for the last five months. Our timid boy, who initially hid at the thought of leaving the house with a stranger, now waits at the window at the mention of their names and cannot wait to see them! Wally has gained an infinite amount of confidence and social skills on account of Llinor and Rob and his participation in group walks; we now benefit from his much-improved recall and socialisation on our own walks with him. The team is knowledgeable and well organised, and we are confident that each time Wally leaves the house with them he is having the best time, which is evidenced by the lovely pictures we receive after each walk. We are incredibly grateful to their team for their work and their huge positive contribution to our dog’s life, in particular to Llinor and Rob, who Wally sees as his best friends!

I cannot recommend PontK9 enough. The quality of care is exceptional. The daily walks are fantastic, with dogs having opportunities to walk in different surroundings and socialise with other dogs. The dog walkers are kind, caring and show great love towards the dogs. They post daily updates in the app, with photos that are nothing but wonderful. Payments and scheduling is easy to navigate via the app. Their duty of care, great communication and dedication is second to none; I would highly recommend.

Our dog loves being part of the pack at PontK9. He has groups walks 2 or 3 times a week and has sleepovers when we are away. PontK9 take amazing care of him, he loves being with Prys or Rob and they love him to bits in return. They have become our puppy’s extended family ❤️

PontK9 are incredible, I can't recommend them enough. Our dog Ella was nervous about leaving the house so we were unsure it would work out but they have been amazing. Prys is our dog walker and Ella can't wait to see him. No problem leaving the house as she has so much fun. The app is really good, booking is easy and the chat function is perfect for keeping us up to date. Prys let's us know how Ella has been and sends us pictures of her having a great time with her new buddies. 100% recommend, they're caring and passionate about what they do. I felt a bit nervous and guilty going on holiday and leaving Bela for the first time last week with Esther but she had a blast! Esther and Bagel looked after her well and she came home a tired and excitable beagle. I can't recommend Esther enough. She's experienced and patient and sent us lots of photos and updates every day. Dee and Ben have been a godsend for me and my little labradoodle Alfie 🙏🏻 he’s got separation anxiety to the point where I can’t leave him home alone at all at the moment, as it’s just me and Alfie at home this has been very challenging. Dee was so helpful finding the right place for Alfie with Ben, and Alfie’s had a blast at Ben’s house, he’s taken such good care of him. They’ve both been really responsive and accommodating, I couldn’t recommend them more 😊

We are very happy with the updates and Alfie's walks. We love the photos Rob sends us. Alfie, our black labrador enjoys the pack walks so much, he jumps in the van, no barking not a peep. The booking and process is excellent so easy to use.

We feel really lucky to have found PontK9, and our dog gets so much enjoyment and confidence from group walks and boarding (diolch Lee!). It's a really professional service, and everyone is really knowledgeable. Booking is really easy too. 15/10 recommend.

My husband and I can’t thank Lyn at Lead and Feed enough for her incredible service she provided in looking after our dog Gus at our home as well as escorting him to our wedding in August. It was one of the hottest days of the year and Lyn pulled out all the stops to make sure Gus was cool, comfortable and happy at all times. She provided us with some gorgeous photos and videos from her time with Gus which showed just how much he loved spending time with her. It is incredibly difficult finding someone who is able to look after our dog as he can be reactive with other dogs, and so many home boarders have dogs of their own, so the fact that Lyn was able to stay in our own home was amazing. She was kind, patient and Trustworthy and provided a very professional service. We will definitely be using her home boarding service again and would recommend her wholeheartedly to absolutely anyone with a fur baby. Thankyou so much again Lyn, from Beth , Josh and Gus!

Lyn really knows about dogs and deeply cares about dogs. I trust her with my boy to keep him safe and very well cared for. Especially when he was a young.

Lyn has been taking care of Bertie, our very important cuddly therapy office dog. Bertie is always so excited when Lyn arrives, ready to take him out for his daily adventure. We have 2 dogs, Violet and Bobo. Like most dog owners their well being and happiness is paramount to us. So having found Lyn and Jez about 7 years ago when looking for a home to home for Violet while we were away for a week was heaven sent! We were lucky to find Lyn & Jez for our dog Ellie. Ellie has been going regularly for the past 6yrs and she loves it. It is like a second home and Ellie loves the varied and stimulating walks that the group go on. Lyn always goes the extra mile and has helped us in emergency care at short notice and even bought Ellie to our wedding so that she could walk down the isle with us on our special day. Kari has looked after my cat, Pippy, for a few years now. She's always taken great care of her and the house while I've been away. Great communication with updates & photos after her visits. Kari is a wonderful pet sitter. I've engaged many different cat sitters in many different cities in recent years and Kari is one of the best I've encountered. Her service offers good value for money and peace of mind for both your home and your pet. From the first meeting she was very professional and caring and gave very clear information about looking after our cat, securing our property while she visits and making sure if anything goes wrong - an emergency vet visit, etc. - our cat would be in good hands. Our cat has really thrived since Kari started looking after him when we are away and Kari keeps us up to date on how he's doing regularly which is really reassuring. He is happy at home, never over or under fed, cuddled and kept safe whilst Kari is looking after him - we could not ask for more!

Kari was the most amazing pet sitter for my cat Pippa. It was the first time leaving Pip for so long and having Kari come in twice daily gave me much needed peace of mind. She went above and beyond, with not only regular updates of how Pip was doing and photos of her too, but also checking in on things around the house like a window I accidentally left open which she kindly notified me of and closed it after checking. I will definitely use Kari in the future and recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter.

Kari is absolutely fantastic. We have employed Kari to look after our cat for several years and she has always been incredibly reliable, trustworthy, thorough and professional. In addition, it is clear how much she cares about the animals she looks after, and our cat (who is very fussy!) absolutely adores her. Kari has helped us out numerous times at short notice when we have suddenly needed to be away for work, and has also been kind enough to do some extra things for us, such as watering our plants and taking in post, which has been an absolute Godsend. I cannot recommend Kari more whole-heartedly, for her helpfulness, professionalism and her obvious love and passion for the animals she looks after.

I'd recommend Pets Go Walkies to anyone! Kari provides a great service. She's visited our cat while we're away and always takes the time to play with them and give them some fuss and a lap, as well as filling food and water etc. She'll always text to let us know how the cat's been which is great for peace of mind. We have used Wagging Tails for 3 years and and our dog Ralph has enjoyed every one of his holidays - Lots of long walks, loads of fuss and he is treated like a king. We receive pictures and videos from the carers whilst we are away which is lovely to see, he always looks very settled and like a member of their family. I’ve been using Friends for Pets since Sept ‘23 and highly recommend Beth (I’m sure the other dog walkers are just as great too but I’ve always had Beth to walk my collie). From day one, she’s made me feel reassured that my dog is in safe, loving hands. Sblot (my dog) is always excited to see her, even when she’s out on a walk with me and spots Beth out with other dogs!

I found Friends for Pets Cardiff by chance/providence whilst chasing my lurcher puppy round several different locations in the Cardiff area. Cath, Anna, Beth and Georgina were always super friendly and tolerant of my dog wanting to join in with the fun of their walking groups. Beth who walks Maggie now regularly is a great help on our journey through puppy mayhem. Maggie is beyond excited every time she sees Beth for her walk and Beth somehow manages to have the patience to walk/run her through the rain, wind, mud and occasional sun even when she's ill herself and would probably rather not be being jumped on by a lunatic spaniel x saluki. It's a testament to her dedication, understanding and love for dogs and I'm very grateful to Friends For Pets and regularly recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable, trustworthy and caring dog walker service.

My dog Martha loves her walks with Catherine. She also loves having her holidays with Anna (I'm sure she prefers staying with Anna more than being at home!!). We wouldn't use any other company. They are reliable, friendly and most of all they love Martha as much as we do.

Friends for Pets have been walking my Sprocker Morgan for over 18 months, having previously used them when Morgan was puppy. They offer an excellent, reliable service, and always accommodate, where possible, any last minute changes. Morgan loves going out with Aunty Anna and her Spaniel gang. I love seeing their adventures on insta and FB, I can tell she’s having a great time, she returns home, happy and relaxed. Can’t recommend them enough!

Just like to say what an amazing company Friends For Pets is. Catherine is a lovely woman who is very accommodating and helpful with dogs. They would text me the day before about times they are coming for my dog which was very helpful. They always take my dog out for a very long walk. Friends for pets Cardiff have been taking our dog Marvin on group walks for a year now and it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made. Beth his walker is amazing and the care and love she has for him is clear to see. Marvin doesn’t stop wagging his tail the morning of his walks as he waits near the door for Beth to arrive and it’s lovely to see the pictures of him out enjoying himself. Beth has really helped us, especially with last minute changes or needing to do extra walks. I can’t recommend Friends for Pets Cardiff enough and wish we’d found them sooner.

Our doggo has been walking with Auntie Anna for over a year now, and she absolutely loves it! We got her during COVID and as such were unable to socialise properly, she got on well with other dogs, but we wanted her to have more regular interactions with different dogs. Since we found Friends for Pets we have been using their services for 1 walk per week. It’s her favourite day and she really looks forward to her jaunts with Auntie Anna and friends. Friends for Pets Cardiff have been our dog walkers since 2020 when I got my whippet Luna. Beth has been walking Luna for the last 2 years and is wonderful, she always makes sure Luna has had a good run and it is clear from how Luna greets her how much she loves Beth. She really loves and cares for the dogs as if they are her own and is a lovely person too. Catherine is also so kind and helpful and will go above and beyond to help if she can. We have been using friends for pets for a year now since our puppy was just 12 weeks old! The amazing Beth has watched our Lola grow up and she truly adores her! Beth always makes sure Lola has the best time on her walks and even lets her sit up front in the car sometimes. We've used Friends for Pets several times over the last few years and have always had a really positive experience. Both Anna and Beth have visited our two cats and we always feel reassured that they're well looked after when we're away. Beth sends us pictures and updates from her visits which is always appreciated and we feel like she's got to know our cat's different personalities really well! We'll definitely continue to use Friends for Pets and would recommend them to anyone looking for reliable pet visits :)
