We've had our 20 month old retriever here a number of times in the last couple of months. We weren't sure how she'd get on and felt like bad dog parents for leaving her, but it turned out to be a godsend! Sarah is so kind and welcoming and Rosie loves to go and stay at doggy daycare. As soon as I turn into the drive, she gets excited and it's one of her favourite places to go. Plus, it's really affordable. I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone

Sarah provides an amazing service!!!!! We were anxious about our 2 dogs boarding, but Sarah is so lovely with them, that our anxieties went immediately!!!! Our dogs were treated as members of the family and were given loads of love and affection. Please don't look elsewhere, Teddy Bear Pet Care is fabulous!!!!! ❤❤❤

Beautiful, safe, area for dogs to run, sniff, play. Well maintained and very therapeutic for the owners too. My rescue dogs can only be off lead here and they love it. I love seeing them really come out of themselves and enjoy the freedom, since they've been coming here, their confidence has grown.

Was extremely happy with our doggy day out here with our miniature jack russel Toby & fostered Rottweiler Archie. Such a great planned out place with peace of mind for ourselves to let our doggies enjoy themselves. Only regret was not booking longer as could easily spend longer there they really have thought of everything it’s a lovely place and love the quirky features. Will definitely be booking again and can’t wait for our next visit!

Visited for the first time today and was soo impressed, it was fantastic, such attention to detail and well thought out safe spaces with dogs needs at the forefront but which were also beautiful for the humans too, not to mention excellent value for money. My romanian rescue who can be reactive and so requires safe spaces to really let loose had an absolute ball and slept soundly all the hour journey home. Will definately be taking him for another visit hopefully in springtime . Thank you very much 😊

We have been coming here for 6 years. It is doggie heaven! Only downside is one of my dogs barks constantly from leaving home all through the 40 minute journey as he is so excited and knows where we are going!! 😲 All the other dogs do the same when we leave the bypass! 😁 Always something new being added. Margaret has created an amazing place.

Fantastic facility for a dog birthday party! Large field area with plunge pool for the dogs and outdoor seating for the adults. Agility area for the budding crufts enthusiats or just for the dogs to run about daft. Then a beautiful wooded area with a stream for the dogs to cool down in the shade.

My favourite place in Ayrshire for a secure walk with my dogs. They give the perfect space for dogs to run in an open field whilst also having a lovely woodland area with a small stream in it. Perfect

An excellent adventure for dogs and kids alike. Our Hugo hated it!!! He hated waiting in the car for his turn, he hated going back in the car to go home. But he loved everything else that was on offer from the agility course to the plunge pool. He even paid his respect to he who went before him. All hail Axl. Back again, our Hugo is definitely living his best life right now

We and our dogs absolutely love it here. Been twice now and it's such an amazing feeling letting our little terriers off the lead to follow their noses until their heart is content! Highly recommend this place, the owners are obviously very passionate about making this an amazing place for the dogs (and us humans) to have fun! Haven't used the agility bit as ours are not into it. But they love the field and the go sniff area! Secure, fun and beautiful with the wood carvings and the fairy house. The Go Wash facilities are great and the owner is always there to make sure everything is ok or to see if you need any help. Last time we washed the dogs, they smelled lovely for weeks! Such lovely products, clean and very efficient shower! Thank you so much for creating this amazing place!

Go play go sniff is amazing for dogs & owners as ur dogs are off lead in a very secure area. All 3 areas are very well maintained and Margaret has put her heart & soul into making it the best place around for dogs would recommend to everyone

We really enjoy coming to this dog park. It's close to home. The play areas are spacious and offer different things for our dogs to play with. The parks are clean. They have been friendly and cheerful in the limited contact I have had with them :) I do hate that dog parks charge 'by dog'. We have 3 dogs, but one is disabled. She likes to go, but she can't do the tunnels or any of the fun stuff. Yet we pay extra just so she can come and sit and watch the other two play. Most dog parks do this, so this isn't specific to this place. 🤷‍♀️ My only complaint is that the water for the dogs is in the parking lot, not the fenced in dog park. We always take a bowl with us and fill a bottle to take into the fenced park so the dogs can drink while they're playing. Overall, it's a really lovely place and I really enjoy the quiet once our worn out dogs get home. 😉

Fantastic facilities. Our two retriever's came home in the condition they went in. They were clean fresh and no kennel smell. They have been in twice . Never having been in kennels they certainly enjoyed their experience. A big thanks to owners Will and Victoria and a shout out to the two staff that we dealt with , Sam and Louise who looked after our girls. ( Sorry if I have missed anyone out ) We have no hesitation in rebooking. Albeit , it is a good distance away from us (Strathaven) but well worth the journey . We will most certainly be back.

Have booked my dog in 3 times now, he’s a little anxious and so I chose bellslea as they have individual rooms for each dog. It is also really clean, warm and welcoming. As well as this they have their own run free parks so he gets loads of exercise. Staff there seem lovely and remember our dog which is a plus. We pick up a happy and tired dog. Great place and will continue to use

Hired the field for half an hour and my labrador loved it. Excellent area, clean and tidy with lovely views. Very secure, staff friendly on arrival. 10/10 recommended to let your dog off the lead.

What can I say, our dogs love this place, whether it’s doggy day care, boarding or just a play at one of the parks, the dogs know as soon as you head up the drive exactly where their going and can’t wait to get out of the car and play! The team are amazing, friendly and very accommodating, we have no doubt that they have our dogs best interest at heart and are well catered for (our two are very needy 🤦🏼‍♂️). We use the doggy day care every week and often use the boarding service for when we are on holiday, we wouldn’t go anywhere else. I would highly recommend Victoria, Will and their team to look after your dogs!

Left Logan for a few days with his wee pal Frankie as this was Logans 1st time at Kennels although I would say it was more like a doggy hotel. Plenty of updates of both dogs and they were relaxed and had plenty of playtime and interaction and other wee guests which they thoroughly enjoyed. The room they were in had a tv and webcam which i was aprehensive to use in case they were stressed and this turned out not to be the case. Both dogs had their grooming maintained which was appreciated. A lovely added extra was being kept up todate with photos playing outside with their new wee pals. Staff could not be anymore nicer, helpful and welcoming to both myself and doggys. Well done to all at Belleslea Hills will definitely use here again

Arty (the westie) loves his staycations at Bellslea Hills Pet Hotel & Spa his care and attention whilst there is second to none and we can watching him secretly on the spy cam to put our minds at rest. I thoroughly recommend this facility it is fantastic xxxx

Only 1 word to say regarding Bellslea, outstanding. Victoria who works there is an absolute asset, her knowledge, compassion for animals and assistance she provided was exceptional. Leaving your dogs somewhere is a terrifying experience but I can say Victoria put my mind at ease. My dogs were treated with the utmost care and I cannot thank Victoria and her team enough. My dogs will never be going anywhere else if needed again. Never have my dogs enjoyed being away from home until now, must have been pampered well. Thank you again Victoria and your team. I will definitely be returning

Lovely cattery for your cat. My cat is a nervous cat at times and he always comes home happy from this place. The owner is very caring and accommodating especially around my work times for collection. Highly recommend!

Very pleased with their service, professional and friendly. My elderly cocker spaniel was very well looked after. She needed a good close groom. I would highly recommend.

Margaret Poole, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable about many breeds and fortunately for me this inludes Westies. She also trains her staff and also does cat boarding at the same premises. She is very much in demand for dog grooming and would advise 3 - 4 weeks notice when booking appt. Would have given 5 stars except she doesn't take any cards for payment - cash or cheque only.

I haven’t been for a few years but when i did go with buttons they looked after him well i hope to book soon.

Cannot recommend these kennels ENOUGH! A lovely family team who have cared so well for my dogs each time we have been away (9 days for the latest stint). We’ve been using Carbieston Kennels for a number of years now and never had a single problem. Matt and Doreen are very accommodating, polite and friendly. We care very much about our dogs and have great confidence that they will be looked after well including a heated kennel in the Winter. They were recommended by a friend and we would certainly recommend them to anyone who wants their dogs looked after.

Took my rescue here as a small test to see what he was like around other dogs since usually he's quite snappy, would definitely recommend as the dogs were kept separately if required and actually bonded with their walker. Will definitely be back!

I have twice contacted Carbieston kennels, whereupon it is evident that the responsibility of care for the dogs under their control falls far below the standards expected by the average dog owner. Specifically Carbieston Kennels, advised that the kennels will be unsupervised from the 23rd of Dec to the 27th of Dec and I quote from an email from them "Although we do have dogs staying with us over the festive period, from lunchtime on the 24th till the morning of the 27th December we do not have arrivals/departures. We trust you will appreciate that this is a convenient way to help folks out and also allow us to spend time with our own family" And in an earlier communication I had with Carbieston Kennels , I advised I would be arriving late at the kennels the solution offered by Carbieston Kennels was to leave my Dog in the car overnight until the next morning

I have just dropped my 6 precious dogs today. I couldn't have been given a better welcome. I absolutely hate leaving them but I feel they will be extremely well looked after. Can't wait to see them next week! Thank you to Matthew and your lovely team.

Very very very rude response from the male owner! Speaking to a potential customer like that, no idea who he thinks he is! Will certainly never attempt to use this kennel again, if you're looking for a fabulous kennel go to the country kennels and cattery near stair, only enquired with this one as country kennels were full!

Placed our dog for just over two weeks. He settled very well and came home full of beans. Happy to use them again.

Booked our dog in to cover our upcoming honeymoon this August directly after a successful stay in February. 2 weeks before our wedding and Knowhead are unresponsive to us on any means of communication, phone, text, Facebook or email. Had to find last minute accommodation for our dog, a simple reply to any of our communications even if they had made a mistake in the booking is the minimum level of customer service I expect to receive from a company. **update due to reply to review, we had been trying to contact for several weeks with no reply, if this was due to a holiday then fair enough but to this day, several weeks later we still have not recieved any correspondence from any messages we sent or answer phone messages we left, only a reply to this review**

Stan, our Vizsla, had a fantastic time with David, Katie & most of all his running pals! He had a 5 night stay & with daily updates with photos you’re guaranteed to have a worry free holiday knowing your pup is in safe hands. Thanks guys☺️

We are visiting the area for a holiday and hoped to visit a couple of non-dog friendly places with our children. I contacted Jennifer and she was happy to offer us dog daycare while we did this. Our dog was with her and Robbie yesterday, and she was clearly very relaxed when we collected her. She happily rushed back in this morning for her second day! Huge thanks to both for clearly looking after her so well! (And for the local tips and information!) We can’t recommend Woof Woof Walkies enough, and we will definitely use them again if we are in the area!

Absolutely exceptional service! Picked our dog up bang on time, looked after him and brought him to our ceremony at Brig O Doon. Jennifer stayed so we could take photos with our dog and we never felt rushed, and we could tell he was in really safe hands! Would 100% recommend

We first started using Woof Woof Walkies as a way to familiarise our puppy with other dogs during lockdown. Over the past 6 months the way we use the service has evolved. We have always found Jennifer to be flexible with hours and days, even if we have to change our plans at the last minute. Our puppy bounds out of the car for his puppy day care sessions, every time. Jennifer has a chat at the end of each session and when required, offers guidance on feeding and training. This was our first puppy & we found it reassuring to have a second (& less biased) opinion on how wonderful he is. We get pupdate pictures for every session and we can see how much fun our puppy has running free in the (fully enclosed & soon to be cctv protected) garden with the other dogs. We have absolutely no hesitation in giving Woof Woof Walkies 5 stars.

Jennifer was professional from our first contact when I asked to arrange a meeting with myself, my husband and our dogs at our home. She met the dogs and answered any questions we had. After moving to Scotland, I still needed to find work so it was going to be several weeks before we would need her assistance. When we were ready for her to start, as several weeks had passed she came back to see us and confirm details of care required. My husband was particularly impressed that she’d remembered our back gate wasn’t very secure but had now been sorted. We live on a busy road and she took care to ensure the gates were closed before entering our property. During the first week one of our dogs were sick and she contacted me at work and helped clean up and even offered to come back for a second visit as I work an hour away. That kind of care cannot be bought! Jennifer will text with updates after her visits occasionally too which is always comforting. Highly recommend Jennifer and Woof Woof Walkies to anyone looking for professional and reliable care for their fur babies.

My Chihuahua Coco absolutely loves her time with Woof Woof Walkies. I always feel extremely happy leaving Coco in Jennifer's care. No matter if she has stayed over, had a puppy play date or been taken for a walk, Coco always returns with her tail wagging. I could not speak more highly of Woof Woof Walkies and would highly recommend them to anyone. Five star service!

I have 3 dogs and have used Woof Woof on different occasions, most recently looking after one of my dogs who has fear aggression. Woof took the time to meet Barnaby twice before the actual booking, so that he would feel relaxed, on the day. Woof are most professional, caring with attention to detail with each dog, I receive texts from Woof on up dates with photos, of the dogs, when they are in their care. When I am away from the dogs, I have compete peace of mind because I know with Woof they are in safe hands.

I am pleased to be given the opportunity to comment on the service provided by Woof Woof Walkies. I have a thirteen year old Golden Retriever, who though relatively fit, does have a few problems with his back legs. However, Jennifer has been marvellous in walking him at his own pace and when required taking him to the Vet. I found Woof Woof Walkies to provide a professional and friendly service and to cater for a large variety of “doggie” needs.

Jennifer is a fabulous, well organised and very doggie-focussed dog walker. Woof Woof walkies have given my timid puppy a new found confidence and she always has great fun there 😀

My two girls, Bo & Willow who have attended Run ‘n’ Fetch for the past year and a half absolutely love going to day care at Julie’s - it’s so comforting to know just how much they’re loved and well looked after and just how much enjoyment they have with all of their other pooch friends. I can’t speak highly enough of Julie and what a truly wonderful and exceptional service she provides! Julie is very knowledgeable when it comes to all things to do with dogs and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to look after my two! If I could give Julie more than 5 stars I would as she absolutely deserves each and every single one of them.

This place is absolutely amazing! It’s like a home from home for the dogs. My dog has been going for four years and just loves it. Your dog is Julie’s dog, you can see how much she loves them. 🩷 Julie is amazing with advice too, esp during the naughty puppy stage! She has so much knowledge of dogs. We love seeing the photos of Bella on the Facebook page, it helps put your mind at ease knowing she is having fun with her furfriends. When we go on holiday I feel much more relaxed knowing she is well cared for. Nothing is a problem for Julie, she can fit you in at short notice if needed, she is very accommodating and so friendly! Her family love the dogs too, I have seen them Out walking the overnight dogs on several occasions, her little girl help takes care of the dogs when she is off school. A lovely family with a shared love of dogs. 😍 Friends have asked me where Bella goes and a few have now started going to Run and Fetch on my recommendation. A waggy tail from Bella going in and coming out says it all. 😊 Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere for your furbaby 🐾

Lola has been going to Julie at Run n Fetch for 7 years! She attends day care every week and has occasional overnight stays. Julie is amazing with the dogs and we can’t thank her enough for what she does for Lola❤️

Positives - This woman is a superhero. Literally nothing she won't do to accommodate you. Extremely knowledgeable and will happily give you tips and advice, without pushing it on you. Excellent value for money and the easiest way to describe how good she is ......we have recommended her to countless people who now utilise her services. If it was possible to give 6 stars I would. Negatives - My dog doesn't want to leave and now recognises how rubbish I am at being a doggy daddy.
