I have been taking my babies here for 4 Yrs to have their nails clipped.I have tried many different groomers,I wouldn’t take them anywhere else!!!! You can feel the love and caring they have for your babies.

I have a very hyper 1 year old Lab and I was worried how she would do since this was her first time at a groomer. They were fantastic and did such a great job! Their pricing was great as well! I just keep hugging her and loving how beautiful her fur looks and how clean she smells even days later now.:) They did such a great job on her nails. They are so smooth and no sharp edges anymore! Highly recommend them:)

If you want your dog to look like this, go to Southern Paws. They did not finish our dog’s haircut or cut his nails because “he became too squirmy.” They also refused to finish his grooming the next day. This is the second time his grooming has been very poorly done here. Not one to leave reviews, but I just wanted to issue a word of warning to those looking for a groomer in the area. It is very irritating to pay full price for an incomplete service, then be left to attempt to finish the job yourself.

I want to thank all of you for the wonderful job you did on Abbey yesterday. All of that hair had just gotten away from me and she was a hot mess, but thanks to everyone she now is a beautiful girl once again. Her head looks incredible and her face shows her elegant look. Thanks so much again! We will see you again in July.

We love Southern Paws! We've been using them for quite some time and our girls enjoy being there and playing with other dogs. They always look and smell great after going.

I have never given a poor google review in my life. I think, for the most part, you should give the benefit of the doubt. However, my standard schnauzer looks absolutely atrocious! And we have had a time getting her paw to stop bleeding. This is an absolute hack job by a groomer that clearly doesn’t care about the pets or customers they service. A piece of advise, if you feel a dog had mats that will take more time and attention than you care to address, call the owner and give them the option to pay more for your service or pick the dog up untouched. My biggest concern is the aloof attitude and lack of patience that has this paw bleeding and my Lucy unrecognizable. Below pictures are 6 weeks ago and today.

I have four little seniors and am very particular about boarding. My little ones did great here! If I could give 10 stars, I would! Wally, T, Zelda and Shawnee did extremely well and I can tell that they got all the attention and love here just as they do when at home.

Amazing groomer! I have a very very small old Yorkie and it's hard for me to find a good groomer that doesn't nick her. Today was her first visit and most definitely not her last! They did a wonderful job! Highly recommend!

I would give a zero rating if could!!! I'm extremely unhappy with this place ,my boyfriend dropped of my 2 schnauzer for full care ,my white girl looked fine but my brown schnauzer came home looking like a drowning rat ,he had no skirt which he had going in he was shaved complete off no hair ,and to top this now both my dogs are sneezing and coughing I'm taking them to our vet because I'm pretty sure it's kennel cough and my dogs never leave my house our outside ,I'll be calling them about this because if my dogs are sick it's from there business and I expect them to pay cost ,plus they were rude, no communication, and I went early to check on dogs before pick up they were dogs lined in small cages ,I could go on but I'm extremely unhappy with this place, I will NEVER TAKE THEM BACK, bear before he went he just needed a bath and nails and his face and ears trimmed I already had him mostly cut and brushed before he went ,I'm extremely mad 😠 he doesn't look like a schnauzer at all his skirt is gone and now both my dogs sick neither dog has there skirt, and bear has cuts in and on his ears !!!

I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. My dog is my family and I'm comfortable leaving her here. Prices are good and the service is 5 stars. A wide range of services is available from a quick nail trim to a full groom to boarding.

The ladies at the Doggie Dude Ranch are absolutely amazing! The most nice and polite place I have ever been to honestly!! I highly recommend taking ur pet to these ladies!! The prices are very reasonable and affordable and the ladies are great with the pets. I will most definitely be taking my pets back to them!!!!

Dropped off for a glands cleansing and nail trim, first thing I noticed was employees who clearly weren’t trained in the profession. A bunch of girls who seemed they were only there to see the “cute dogs” and not actually work. They tried clipping her nails and cut clear into quick on her nails and she left bleeding. One of the girls was very rude and said “I’m not holding this dog” and stormed off because Kloyie wouldn’t stay still and was nervous since this was her first time at the groomers. They did a pitiful job cutting her nails and didn’t drimmel the ends of them. Moving onto the glands cleaning, they put a clearly DIRTY towel up to her butt and barely pushed. We could still smell the glands as soon as we got back to the car. They didn’t put her harness back on her and we had to ask for it to be given back to us. Once she gave Kloyie back to us the manager said “That will be $10” so I handed a 20 since it was all I had and she very quickly said “Thank you have a good day” and didn’t offer change back. We will not be back and I advise no one else take their pets there either. While the price was reasonable, I would pay the extra bit and make sure they are being handled by professionals rather than people who clearly have no idea what they’re doing.

The 2 dogs got skunked. Doggie Dude Ranch took them in last minute and cleaned them up. They were so nice and professional.

I needed to board my pup. I was nervous because I called with a little less that a week before I needed them. They were great. Answered all my questions. When I dropped my dog off they took an inventory of everything, wrote out his feeding schedule, and put me at ease. When I picked up my dog, he was happy and looked well taken care of. Highly recommended. I think next time I will have him get a groom before I pick him up. Love that they even post pics of them for me to see.

We recently had to make a trip and leave earlier than expected, so we had some family members drop off our dogs at doggy dude. One of them is a rescue that has bad separation anxiety that we let them know about in advance. Before our family members had left to drop her off she jumped the fence and came back to the car. They brought her back in and told our family they would take care of her in an enclosed kennel. We received a phone call later that afternoon while out of state that she had escaped this enclosed kennel. Eventually she was found hours later through friends helping them look. Our other dog was fine we’ve had him since he was 12 weeks. When we were called about her escaping they didn’t know her gender and kept saying “something is wrong with that dog.” Our rescue was just scared to be alone for the first time. I wasn’t going to leave a review because we got to pick up our other dog early but this morning I saw on their Facebook that a little dog had escaped so it seems like a common occurrence. I wouldn’t bring your dog here if your dog has separation anxiety or is larger breed or needs lots of attention. Pictured below is the one who escaped and “there is something wrong with her “

Stopped by for a nail clip, a very reasonable 5 dollars! An amazing job on a very large dog with thick nails! I was very pleased by how well this young man handled my big dog.

I called & made an appointment for 2 puppies. When I arrived to drop off my puppies, I was greeted by a guy with a mouth full of dip. I literally could see it on his lips. He asks if 1 is a good pickup time. I got them there at 9:45, appointment was at 10 am. I ask, could I get them a little early? He said he would ask & took my number just in case. I called the groomer because I didn't want her to rush, so if I needed to wait, I was taking my family back home. No one answered. Then I got a call from her that she needed 2 hours per puppy. She then let it slip she had 2 dogs scheduled ahead of us with a pickup time for 1. So she gave our appointment away, basically. I offered to wait because she said it would be 2 before she could be done. She said I would need to reschedule so she didn't rush my puppies through their appointment! Do not use these people, very unprofessional!

Not sure why it’s called Steve & Leslie’s? Steve left and came back and now has moved out of state. He was a very good groomer when he was there. Now it’s always too long a wait every time I try to get an appointment. Have switched groomers.

Leslie is great! She does an amazing job with our baby. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

These people are great! They treat every dog like their own animals. They are so friendly with all the clients too. You feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door, no one is a stranger. I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else.

Leslie and Steven are the most loving caring with dogs... They also care about people as well. No matter how you want your dog groomed they go above your expectations and great prices!! In my book they are the greatest!!!

I took my little Chihuahua Bentley to Steve for a long time until he died. I actually took him to Steve when Bentley was starting to die. Steve was so good to Bentley. Steve showed Bentley so much love and care. He always treated him with great treats for being a good dog. This place has always been very special to me! This has me shedding tears because I miss Bentley so bad! I finally agreed to let my daughter Hannah Faith get another Chihuahua. I could never imagine taking her anywhere else but to Steve! I’m fixing to take Sadie Mae for her first time to get her nails done. Steve is the only one I would ever trust with her. She is spoiled rotten Steve LOL

Quinn has the best vacation while we are on vacation. Carmen does a wonderful job personalizing technical things Quinn needs to work on. We sure trust, rely on Inspiring Paw to take meticulous care of our fur baby!

Inspired Paws takes great care of our Beagle Sporty! We board him there at least once a month and he loves going there. Sporty boarded there during obedience school with Thunderhawk Canine. Carmen and staff genuinely love dogs and treat them like family, highly recommended.

Cocoa stayed at Inspired Paws for 5 nights this November. During her stay, Carmen sent us regular photos of her activities. I think they enjoy the doggies as much as we do! Cocoa even made a cute little lick painting that we have on our fireplace. Cocoa was happy to see us but also content, like she had her own little vacation. I highly recommend Carmen and her team. She has a very calm understanding of dogs and their special quirks. Inspired Paws is the best!

They always take care of our three boys. Our pups come home happy and it is like they get a vacation when we do. Each time when we arrive the boys are excited to see the staff. That says it all! They are loved when they stay at Inspired Paws.

First time dropping of my rescue pup to board and a little nervous about leaving him. Inspired paws was wonderful. Got an update with multiple photos of him on his adventure walk. Staff very friendly and quick to respond and very affordable prices! Definitely will use again!!!

My dogs can be pretty high maintenance when it comes to care and handling lol! Having a lot of high energy working breeds that are a range of ages from young to old, they have lots of rules for their care such as this one can be out with that one or that one but these ones can’t go out together. Or this one is on this medication 3x a day and these supplements. It can be overwhelming to say the least! There’s not many places or people that I would trust to take care of them the way I would. I’m sure I could count them all on one hand and still have fingers left over. Carmen and all of her staff at Inspired Paws of Cookeville are consummate professionals who care for every pet as if they’re part of their own family. They’re 1000% dedicated to going the extra mile and making sure every need is met and then some. I love inspired paws! They really do treat your dog like family while you are gone. They created ornaments for my Christmas tree durning there stay. It made me so happy to leave them here. will continue to leave my doggos here!

This is a wonderful boarding kennel. My dogs have trained and boarded since 2018 (Thunderhawk, boarding now Inspired Paws.). The dogs love Carmen and she loves them. They are well taken care of. Carmen treats them as her own dogs. Carmen provides excellent service. My Shepard has allergies and skin issues and Carmen watches for any outbreaks. She feeds them their homemade food and gives them their medicine. The dogs enjoy their stays and my golden will sometimes walk back to Carmen when it's time to leave. 😅 I highly recommend Inspired Paws of Cookeville for boarding.
