Dog Sitters in Raleigh West, Beaverton

My dog Pilot has been coming to the Raleigh Hills location for about 2 months. He is a rescue dog and I think he is afraid I am abandoning him when I leave him somewhere new. We started slow and the staff were wonderful making him feel comfortable. Now he loves coming to play and starts freaking out when we pull into the parking lot. I think Pilot enjoys the staff more than the dogs and I appreciate how much they cuddle and love on him. Highly recommend for daycare.

Our dog is a little shy but has always had good experiences at Original Bark. The workers seem to really like dogs. There are a couple of rooms so the dogs have room to spread out if they need a little less stimulation. We also love the webcam so we can check in on our dog during the day. We've never had problems with aggressive dogs. The hours are very convenient for what we need. Would recommend Original Bark to people looking for a relatively relaxed place to bring your dog during the day.

Just left our scheduled temperament check. Extremely disappointed with the service and overall experience. 1st we were punched in the face by an overwhelming dog urine and feces smell. After that, the person behind the counter said hello and acknowledged they received our records. From there he stood up and started walking towards the back, and so we followed. He had to stop us and tell us it would be just him for this part. There was no introduction, there was no formalities, no run-through of what to expect. After we were stopped from entering the back room, I had to ask for him to explain how things worked. Again, there was no introduction to us, no intro to the dog, no mood check in or anything, just straight to the back with a stranger. So of course, our 8 mo old dog didn’t do so hot in the high stress environment. And we were all happy to go our separate ways. Here’s my takeaway, I get hiring people is tough. But there are certain positions that just require a tiny bit more than the bare minimum. Had a good introduction been made and this person spent time to say hello and make our dog comfortable BEFORE dumping all that stress on her, things probably would have gone different. I don’t recommend anyone bringing their dogs here based on the amount of care and attention we received for 12 min. Can’t imagine leaving something I care about there for any longer.

As a Canadian who often travels to Portland to visit family and friends, I couldn’t be happier to have found Original Bark! The staff at Original Bark were beyond helpful with answering all of my questions and helped assure me that their facility would take great care of my pup while he was there. The staff are so caring, friendly, and kind, the facility is clean and spacious, and access to the webcams to check in with your pup was easy to navigate and use. I will definitely be using Original Bark again the next time I visit Portland and would definitely recommend them!

Original Bark is the best boarding facility we’ve ever used. We’ve taken our dogs now for multiple years, and this last time our dog had some health complications and they went above and beyond taking her to normal vet multiples and making sure she felt loved and was well taken care of. We could not ask for more and are so thankful to have the Original Bark team to take care of our dogs while we travel. We are especially thankful to Gabi who kept us in the loop.

I am so impressed with this place. I had to board my dog unexpectedly after just relocating to the area. My dog is super anxious so I was hesitant to board her at a new place without first acclimating her. I didn't see her on the webcam much the first day or two, so I checked in with the staff there. They quickly responded with a long and thoughtful message about behavior patterns they had observed with my dog, and all the things they were doing to make her more comfortable. I didn't ask for this, but they continued to send me updates throughout her stay. I also began to see my dog warm up to the staff and go up to them for pets. This really says a lot because it takes her a long time to trust people and feel safe in new environments. I didn't feel that she was just doing "okay" there, but actually thriving. I can't recommend Original Bark enough!

Original Bark Oleson Rd is the best. Wonderfully tolerant staff for my rambunctious Lab who is a complete clown, flexible drop off and pick up times, fair rates, and even personalized invites to pool parties. He falls asleep in the car on the way home every time.

My high energy terrier had a great experience at Original Bark. They do a temperment assessment to ensure the dog will socialize and play with with the other dogs. Fortunately my dog passed and spent a fun afternoon getting tired out in daycare. They also provide a short report at the end of the day and have nest video cams if you want to check in on the action. Will be going back from time to time and boarding in October for a couple days. It's not cheap by any stretch, but on par with other higher rated day care and kennels in the Beaverton, Hillsboro, Portland area.

My dog is shy, but because of this dog community, he is so much better dealing with other dogs. Thank you:)

Original Bark has been a lifesaver while working from home. The staff seem to truly love dogs. 4 stars because I wish there was an outside area to pee and I wish more was done to encourage active play. My dog seems to just sniff butts and nap.

I had a week long vacation out of the country and was very thrilled when I found Lori! I have never left my bunny with someone before for that long and was super nervous. Lori made me feel much better about the whole process by giving me access to the bunny room camera and her extensive knowledge on rabbits. I got to check on my little guy the whole time I was gone! Will definitely use Whisker Wise boarding the next time I’m out of town!

My three guinea pigs are very spoiled and precious to me, so it’s hard for me to leave them when we go out of town. I am so glad to have found Whisker Wise! Lori takes excellent care of my girls and responds readily to texts when I inquire about how they’re doing. They stayed with her for over two weeks this summer while we were visiting family and upon picking them up I could see they were happy and healthy (no lost weight, which happened at a previous place we boarded them at). She even gives them fresh veggies/tomatoes from her garden! Definitely recommend Whisker Wise. :)

Our guinea pigs Teddy and Domino were very well cared-for during our week and half away this month. The owner is super responsive to texts, understanding and responsible, and even sent us a cute video of our babies. :) Would definitely use again! Oh, and it was super affordable too!

Whisker Wise watched my two bonded English Lop Rabbits for about 17 days. Lori did such a good and attentive job in caring for them! They seem healthy and happy as can be. I also really enjoyed that Whisker Wise Animal Care and Boarding has cameras set up over the rabbit areas so you can check in on your rabbit at any time. Lori is also extremely kind and definitely cares about the animals themselves. When my rabbits ran out of a supplement/treat Lori went out and bought some more. I would definitely leave my Rabbits with Whisker Wise again!

When I went out of town for a week I was glad to find a place like whisker wise and someone like Lori to take care of my bunny. I've never boarded her before so I was a little apprehensive, but Lori assured me she would be very well cared for. She even offered to place her in a pen with a camera. It was so nice to see her on video whenever I wanted so I could check up on her and be able to move the camera around to see who she was rooming next to.The size of the pen looked very spacious and nicely set up with blankets. I would very much recommend Whisker Wise for any of your pocket pets and will definitely be using them again in the future!

I love Whisker Wise Animal Care & Boarding! Lori is absolutely wonderful and takes such good care of my rabbit. I never have to worry about him when I go out of town. She gives him the attention he needs and gives me updates on how he is doing. The setup she provides for rabbits is really nice and big. I used to board my bunny with my veterinarian, but I much prefer Whisker Wise. I have no reason to ever go to another boarder again!

Lori takes amazing care with the animals she watches. I was anxious to leave my newly adopted bunny for a week, but when I came back my sweet Maggie was even tamer than before! She has an amazing set up for bunnies (super cool modified room!) with toys and boxes and even little sitting pads for the bunns. She's super flexible about pick up and drop off and is very kind! She is awesome! Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience! Our senior bunny was well cared for during the 10 days we were out of town, and I loved being able to check on her via webcam. We will definitely be booking again the next time we go on a trip!

Having recently moved to the area, we were a little nervous with finding a new place to have our rabbits stay while we were out of town. Lori was great to talk to and put me at ease- additionally having a camera where we could view our buns to check in on them was a huge plus as well! Benny and Jasper were well taken care of during their stay over the New Year's holiday. Definitely will be bringing our buns here in the future for boarding. Thank you Lori!

Lori took in my bunnies at the last minute because I lost power. She was super kind and helpful! She was flexible and attentive. I know my kids were well taken care of. I definitely recommend her and will go back to her in the future.

The owner recommended that we take our dog to a different daycare as they were fully booked. He sent us to this wonderful place and said that that is where he would leave his dogs if he was going on vacation and he was absolutely right. In this literal world of dog eats dog the owner of Buster and Lily’s was an exception. I will try to recommend them as well.

Our dogs always loved going to daycare here and spending time with the loving staff. Also the best price we've found if you buy hours in bulk.

Boarded my dog here for a week. Staff were friendly and good with my pup. They even offered a complementary bath so she could come home fresh and clean! Thank you!

My dog starts going all crazy in the back seat. When I get close to the parking lot. He never acted like that at the two other places. I tried for him to have play dates so I'm very happy with that. The staff is very nice. I make sure that they have updates on his shots and everything. I bring them the paperwork and they are appreciative. Love this place!

The best dog daycare/boarding ever. I have kind of a tricky dog, and the employees are always so kind and patient with her. The owner is one of the nicest people I have ever met. I love that I can drop her off just for a couple hours to get some socialization. A lot of dog daycares can feel corporate-y and cold, but this is such a community-oriented, welcoming environment. My dog loves it here!

My pup loves coming here. Anytime we get anywhere near that part of town he starts getting really excited. They are nice, friendly and truly love and care about all the dogs who go here. We've boarded him here overnight many times. They also provide baths, and grooming. Great place, friendly staff. Bonus: I can watch my for my dog on their IG story daily. It's really fun :)

Buster & Lilly’s is like bringing our dog to his second home. He has gone there since he was 6 months old and he is now almost 11years old. The entire staff cares for the dogs as their own. Our dog was staying there while we were out of town and he had a medical emergency. Brian and the entire staff went above and beyond to help our dog as we frantically tried to make it home. I highly recommend this doggie daycare if you are looking for a welcoming and loving place to take your doggie!

Highly recommend! It makes me so happy to see my dog get excited to go inside and play. She comes home and sleeps like crazy. And every time I say “you want to go to Buster and Lilly’s?” her ears perk up and she gets so excited! They are also extremely accommodating, the owner and staff are very kind and the price is great.

My wife and I were feeling hopeless when it came to boarding our mini Goldendoodle. It was difficult to find a good location, fair pricing and someone trustworthy to take care of our pup when we were out of town. Finally we came across Holly’s website and were immediately intrigued. We reached out and Holly was so responsive and caring. We got a meet and greet scheduled right away and it went amazing. Holly and her family are so welcoming and easy to communicate with. It has been such a relief to have found Holly and now we always know we have a reliable plan for where our dog will stay when we need help with her. Our favorite part is the daily photo updates we get from Holly when she is watching our dog ♥️ thank you, Holly!

Holly was very easy to work with, responsive to communications, and thoughtful about taking care of my pup. I had a great trip knowing she was in good hands. The daily pics were not only adorable but high quality, too! Will definitely choose Holly again :)

This review is long over-due. Holly has been caring for our 4 animals (2 cats and 2 dogs) for quite a while now, and she has been absolutely stellar! She is very communicative and very compassionate in the care of our animals. Pricing is fair. Two of our animals have medical issues and one of our dogs in particular has some mobility issues. Holly is always attentive and ensures our pup gets to play without pushing herself too far (she would play fetch all day if she could). When Holly cares for your animals, you can tell she really treats them like family. I would recommend her 100%. Thank you Holly for all you do for our family! PS: She takes some pretty great photos!

We always feel comfortable having Holly watch our two cats while we're away! Holly is responsive, lets us know if there are any issues, and sends the cutest daily photo updates. She goes above and beyond to make sure they feel loved (and we're updated) while we are away!

We left our pet rabbit with Holly for a week. I knew right away that she was in good hands. Holly carefully went over all the instructions with us before we said good bye and made sure our little bunny had a comfortable set up. Then, amazingly, we got wonderful photos and updates throughout the week. Everyone was having a good time together. We were so grateful to have found Holly to share their home and attention with our little friend. Holly is really special.

Holly provided care for our two cats for a week. I could tell by the cute pictures she sent each day that the cats were very comfortable with her. She even took care of an ant evasion we had, putting out ant traps we had to keep the pests away from the cat food! She always replied promptly to texts we sent while away. I will definitely use her services again.

Holly has taken care of my kitty a couple times now and has done such a good job. She checks on my girl reliably and sends me photo updates everyday so I feel reassured that everything is ok back home. Vacations are so much more relaxing when I know my fur baby is being looked after. I highly recommend Holly!

Holly has been incredible with our 1+ yo dog, Maggie. Maggie is full of energy and love and needs a lot of attention and play. Holly expertly guides Maggie through her days and always sends us lots of great photos to put our minds at ease. She has been very flexible to meet Maggie’s needs and our busy schedule. Her toddler is great around dogs, just like her mom!

I can’t express enough how grateful I am for the care my dog received while staying with Toby. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that she and her dogs Raven, Jonah, and Wally were a wonderful fit for my pup. As this was our first time leaving him, we were understandably anxious, but Toby quickly put our worries to rest. She is truly a godsend, radiating warmth and kindness. Knowing my dog was in such loving hands made all the difference. During his stay, he had the time of his life! The way Toby interacts with her dogs and my pup is nothing short of special. Saw Wild Pups on instagram and that it is a local, women owned business. We wanted to support! Our dog cannot spend all day adventuring but, we did a meet and greet with Toby and are able to board with her pack. Our dog loves getting to hang out with the Wild Pups and Toby is fabulous to work with. I don’t know how she does it but, the dogs she works with are so fortunate. Words can't express the love my dog, Roo, and I have for Wild Pup Adventures. I moved to Portland in early 2020 and tried out a few different services, but I knew when Roo came home his first day on his adventure with Toby that this was the best one. Roo is a 3-year old golden retriever with a bossy attitude and endless energy and I have personally never seen him so tired as when he comes back from his weekly adventure. Toby, the owner/trainer, is truly a dog whisperer. Not only has she helped me with individual training sessions for Roo, but she manages to keep 6-7 dogs at her full attention the entire time she is out in the wilderness with them. Toby takes them to different terrain and places around Portland every week and her knowledge of the forest/beach/anywhere is incredible!! You can truly see the love in my dog's eyes when we walk up to her van and in all of the amazing pictures that she takes during the day. I moved to Bend recently and was SO sad to not be apart of WPA anymore. If anyone is looking for the best thing you can buy for your dog, I always recommend this service. I would give 150 stars if google let me, we will MISS YOU TOBY THANK YOU!!!

There are no adequate words that encapsulate how awesome Wild Pup Adventure is!!! Our wild pup Lucy has been adventuring with Toby and team since she was six months old and it's by far the best thing we could have ever done for our favorite furry family member. First of all, Toby is an incredible leader and small business owner. Her knowledge of dog care, training, wilderness, and safety is beyond impressive. The outdoor treks that Toby plans and executes for these pups make the rest of us who are stuck at work all day very jealous. We get to live vicariously through the beautiful photos that Tobi captures and shares with the parents after each adventure. Wild Pup Adventures is heaven on earth for dogs. Toby has taken her business model and turned it to a haven (and heaven) for dogs and owners alike. There is nothing around comparable to the experience she provides and the dogs are able to experience life in ways that unfortunately most do not. Her experience, understanding and education of canine psychology is unparalleled and I only wish she could clone herself. Accept no substitutes. She and her years of experience are absolutely unparalleled. I love everything she does because she does it for her love for dogs and their quality of life. Only a true animal lover could possibly understand and appreciate what she does. She has extreme knowledge of dog breeds and their capabilities and which dogs can handle the experience and which can’t. She is picky about which ones she takes in because she cares about their quality of life and the experience they have. She’s very educated in all things based in animal science and is definitely one of a kind. Ginger is the best! I have 2 cats, one of them needs medications once a day. She is so loving and caring with them, and they love the "catnip parties". Having the peace of mind that they are well cared for while I'm out is priceless. I strongly recommend her services.

Ginger watched our dog Ellie, which is no small feat. Ellie is an extremely active cattle dog who demands activity. Ginger was up to the task and they fell in love with each other. Ginger is so caring and kind with animals it is really a beautiful sight to see. She really connects with all animals. Ellie was happy and well cared for and we have used Ginger numerous times since then. Ginger is the BEST!!

I want to give a huge shout out to Ginger Matyas. We have been using her to watch our two kitties in Manzanita for a few years. Ginger is a true gem! She takes great care of our kitties and lavishes them with attention. She takes and sends the best photos too! Your fur babies will love her!

Ginger is absolutely wonderful! She loves cats and knows how to give them exactly the attention they need while we're away. Our cat is very shy but Ginger was patient with him and now he comes out to play with her, which is very rare for him. She has also given us great advice and resources. She's prompt, kind, communicative, and great with cats. Couldn't recommend her more highly!

Ginger is the absolute best! She goes above and beyond for not only our cat, but for us and our home as well. We receive updates every visit which keeps us at ease, as we have an extremely shy boy. He finally opened up to her, which is a testament to her knowledge, skills and patience - now he loves when she stops by! Ginger is also more than just a cat sitter - as first time cat owners, she's provides great tips, from toys and treats to vet recommendations. Could not recommend her enough!

All I can say is WOW - Ginger was amazing with my 2 cats when I had to go out of town. I am new to Portland and was nervous about finding someone to have come watch my cats for me in my home while I took my first trip out of town. I now have no qualms about future trips because I know my cats will be in great hands with Ginger and her team every time. She brought over toys and played with them and sent pictures/videos every day which was so great. I would 1000% recommend Ginger to anyone needing to find someone to trust their fur babies with!

Ginger has been taking care of my two cats for over two years and she is great! I have an 18 year old cat with early kidney disease and an 8 year old who is frightened of everything after being rescued by firefighters when my condo building had a fire in 2017. Ginger is patient with him and eventually gets him to come out from under my bed covers. My older cat just loves her and climbs all over her. During my last two week trip she came twice a day as it’s important for my older cat to eat regularly. She updated me with photos and videos, easing my anxiety at leaving them for so long. I totally recommend Ginger.

We've used Platinum Leash for our dog, Huck, for years now! Jessica, the owner, is very professional and responsive, the whole system she has set up makes scheduling easy (love online scheduling!). The several people. (Kynzie, Nic, and Chauncey) have all been awesome and were always good about sending us photos and updates!

Excellent! Would recommend them to anyone! My pets are very well taken care of! I never worry about them!

Nate is amazing! Highly highly highly recommend! He doea so well with our 2 dogs and our elderly cat who needs insulin every 12 hours. He also has great communication!

Nate is a wonderful pet sitter. He has watched our kitties multiple times and done a fabulous job. One of our cats has diabetes and has to have two injections a day, Nate was able to give the injections and give us peace of mind. He always sends pictures and updates. Highly recommend!

Nate was fantastic! I always judge a house sitter by my dogs body language when I return, and she was relaxed and comfortable, clearly having been well cared for. I have an older dog who has her idiosyncrasies and needs a lot of attention, so seeing her this way made it clear that Nate paid attention to her needs and won her affection. Nate was highly responsive and communicative; asked questions and went out of his way to provide a superior level of care- he asked about getting her special treats, took her on rides when he learned she loves them, and was overall proactive in providing care. He left my apartment cleaner than he found it and again, was attentive and proactive in doing so. I can’t recommend Nate highly enough- from the moment of the meet and greet it was clear he is an animal lover and professional!

If I could give Nate over 5 stars, I would! He was absolutely fantastic with our very clever and attention loving lab. He kept in contact with us throughout the stay. He went above and beyond for Wally and even cleaned our house! Wally has new best friend and was sad to see Nate leave.

I would highly recommend Nate mainly because he has such a beautiful passion for animals! He absolutely loves his job and the fact that he has such a soft heart for Animals is key! You can trust him he puts his heart into his work! I have witnessed how he treats these animals and I just love it! You can go on your trip with ease knowing that you're sweet fur babies are going to be taken care of!

I have a highly reactive dog so going to a groomer can be extremely difficult, Nate came to our home and was able to groomer our special boy, and gave us text updates!! I have already recommended their services to our family members with pets!!

Nate's service allowed us to feel confident that our pets were in good hands in our absence. He went above and beyond in the normal chores required by offering suggestions, noting the overall health and character of our pets while we were away, and offering love while in our absence. The portal was a great way to communicate back and forth and the added pictures of our pets was wonderful. If you have pets, then as the parents of fur babies, I recommend that you hire Nate's service to ensure that they are well taken care of. 5 stars!

Nate’s ability to connect with animals is a wonder to see. Our very cautious dog, Coda, took to him right away. Nate is professional, helpful, kind, and goes the extra mile. Our dog often gets anxious and unregulated when we are gone. We have only left him with family in the past, but we took a chance with Nate. While we where out of town, Nate really bonded with Coda. We got lots of feedback from neighbors about how attentive Nate was and how happy our dog was. I enjoyed the reassurance and photos he sent daily. He also left the house in better than when he arrived. He mowed the lawn for us! Deeply grateful to have found such a reliable helpful resource. Truly a master at his craft.
