After an unhappy experience with our previous dog walker Amanda has regained both our confidence in his walks away from home. She has instilled a calmness and a trust in him which we hadn't experienced before. I would highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for an experienced, professional dog walker.

Amanda did four home puppy training sessions with my puppy and I. She taught us the basic command the we would practice on our own before the next session. I’d tried YouTube videos etc with not much luck before Amanda but the way she trains is fantastic. Exactly at the right pace for the dog and you can see she absolutely loves what she does. Ralph the Cockapoo went from pulling on the lead to walking perfectly in one session and some home practice!!! Would definitely recommend 👍🏽

Amanda provided pet sitting for my 12 yr old dog for 2 days in my home whilst I was away. The service was absolutely superb and couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after Holly. Amanda visited beforehand to spend some time with Holly and really tailored to her particular needs as an elderly dog. I received regular updates and pics, and I knew Holly was in trusted hands. Amanda was just absolutely brilliant. Holly never had a pet sitter before so it was a complete new experience to us both but Amanda made me feel very reassured and Holly was a happy pooch in her hands. I wouldn’t hesitate using Amanda’s services again or recommending to others. Thank you! Xx

Amanda looked after my cocker spaniel puppy just for one night, it was the first time I'd left her so I was quite nervous but Amanda is very calm and relaxed and really knows dogs so my pup was quite happy, Amanda sent lots of pictures which I found reassuring and she came home very relaxed herself (which is totally out of character!). Amanda is very thorough with finding out every important detail about your dog, their likes and dislikes and I'll have no hesitation asking her to look after my pup again. Highly recommend!

I couldn't recommend Amanda more. She is an animal lover and passionate about her job. She is dedicate and professional. She looked after my dog in my house for 10 days, walking him regularly and taking him for evenings out, making my boy feeling like mum was with him. She is trustful and caring. Very knowledgeable re dogs in general but also dogs training and dog behaviour. My dog and I are so happy we found her and will always count on her in future.

Amanda looked after our dog in our home for 3 nights and she was brilliant! We were in regular contact throughout our break away and received some lovely photos of our very relaxed dog. We already have her booked for various other dates this year!

Our dog tilly absolutely loves Amanda and gets so excited for her weekly walks! Amanda provided pet sitting at our home for 5 nights in August and weekly walks since then. Its been brilliant for Tilly. She's a rescue and we've never left her with anyone prior to Amanda, any worries we had about tilly not being confident with someone new were quickly gone, she even goes off lead now! Amanda’s puppy training class was amazing. She has so much knowledge and made us all feel at ease. She is incredibly patient and kind to the dogs and her training has helped us so much. Thank you Amanda!

We did an overnight trial for our golden retriever and Amanda was great with him and brilliant at keeping us updated. You could see when we picked him up that he'd had a fab time and lived being there. The only shame for us is that our big lad isn't a fan of the dog walking van which means Amanda would struggle to take him during the week, otherwise I'd love for her to be able to look after him for longer stays.

Amanda takes our dog for a walk twice or three times a week. She always sends photos so we know what fun our dog has had! Amanda is extremely reliable and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to other pet owners.

Jo's been walking Indy for a few months now and did puppy visits when he was younger. Indy absolutely loves his walks with Jo and his doggy friends, he gets so excited when he sees her van pull up. I was so happy when Jo returned to work during lockdown and have been very impressed with the precautions taken. Its great to have found someone we trust completely with Indy and know Jo always does what's best for the dogs.

Jo has known Monty since he was 8 weeks old (he is now over 2), she did puppy visits when he was too small to go out and has walked him ever since. Monty adores Jo and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Very experienced, reliable and responsible with 4 dogs of her own. She’s simply the best.

Our black lab Lucy has been on walks with Jo since she was a pup. She loves her walks & always comes back tired & happy. In fact Lucy always seems to know when Jo is coming as she waits by the window & looks out for her wagging her tail. Jo has always helped us out when we needed last min walks or help to look after Lucy & I can’t recommend her enough. x

Jo has always been fantastic, Olive cant wait for her walks and is always extremely waggy at the sight of Jo coming up the path. Jo's always been very accommodating and flexible with adhoc requests and alterations. I can't recommend enough.

I recently left my cat here whilst I was on holiday for almost a full 2 weeks. All the staff at the cattery were super nice and polite, they seem quite experienced when it comes to caring for the cats. I visited a week earlier to see what the place was like and all the cats there looked very happy and comfortable. The kennels are quite nice and spacious and the outdoor run is completely safe and blocked off so there is no chance of escape. The environment was also quite nice and clean which was great. They do post regular pictures on their Facebook page so it’s nice to keep an eye out to see how your cat is doing. When I went to pick my cat up, he seemed like he had made really good friends with the kind lady there which was soo cute to see! Overall, I will definitely be using Brookdale Boarding Cattery when I travel next.

Excellent Cattery I bring my cats max and paddy quite often Emma and all staff are amazing the Cattery offers lots very cosy pens and a run for outside which is all very safe and enclosed I've recommended to friends and family a fantastic Cattery my cats have fantastic care and Highley looked after would Highley recommend very happy customer

Thank you for looking after Ozzie and Lulu, at age 11 this was the first time for both of them in a cattery, however it didn't take them long to settle and begin relaxing on their own little holiday. I put this down to the loving treatment of the staff here, they were very much looked after and I would have no concerns whatsoever in booking them in again for another stay. The photos were very reassuring and were lovely to see, thank you again.

Our cat has been a guest multiple times now and we couldn't be happier! Facilities are great, staff are lovely and attentive to the cats. They follow any dietary requirements and nothing is ever too much trouble. Easy process of dropping your pet off and the same on the day of pick up. Safe environment, regular updates on Facebook where you can see a pic of your cat whilst you're away. I wouldn't go anywhere else now! Fair to say we're already booked for another stay ☺️

My cat recently stayed with Brookdale Boading Cattery for the 2nd time. Like the first time, they took the time to ask questions and document info about her personality, health conditions and medication routine. Posted regular photo updates on facebook - reassuring to see how settled my cat looked. Really appreciate how they took care of her and would highly recommend. Will always use in future.

We left our cats at Brookdale for a lengthy stay. It’s the first time our cats have ever been to a cattery and we were apprehensive about leaving them, especially as one has health issues and is quite nervous. Emma was very reassuring and invited us to visit the cattery and see all the facilities. Brookdale was recommended to us by a friend, so we knew our cats would be in safe hands and this was further reinforced by our visit. Whilst we were away, we were able to see our cats via updates on Facebook. This also helped in reassuring us that they were ok. On collecting our cats, they looked well and happy. Our cat that has health issues looked to be very well and had even put some weight on. We are absolutely glad that we booked them in at Brookdale and will definitely use them again without hesitation. Highly recommend. Thank you to Emma and her team for looking after Coco & Ginger 😺

It's an okay cattery but the reason for three stars is because if you pick up your cat in the morning you get charged for the whole day which is unfair. Also they open at ten o'clock which I think is late if you need to set off earlier. We now use a cattery which opens at 8am and doesn't charge for the day if you pick up before 12 am.

Jemma has been an absolutely fantastic dog walker. She was really good at getting our puppy settled with her when he started and he is now so excited for his walks with her! He really does love her and you can tell that his walks with her are the highlight of his week! I honestly don't know what Toby would do without her!! My favourite thing is that she always sends us pictures of the dogs enjoying their walk. It's so lovely to see when I'm at work missing him!

Five stars. I'm the 1st to admit my dogs a handful but Jemma has no problems and the joyous greeting my dog gives her tells me everything I need to know. If I do want to know more I can as jemma sends great reviews of each walk along with pictures. Wharedale paws are so much more than a dogwalking services they are partners in your fogs development.

Jemma is really good with our little dog Molly, she’s always been very nervous around other dogs but Jemma matches her up so well with her other dogs and Molly is now so much more confident and happily plays with other dogs when we take her out. Can’t recommend Jemma highly enough!

Jemma has been brilliant with our anxious rescue dog Libby, not just helping her with her behaviour and socialising her with other dogs but also having fun with her - Jemma is knowledgeable and really cares for the dogs in her charge. Recommended!

I have been using Jemma at Wharfedale paws for nearly a year now and can honestly say she has been brilliant. She is a very professional and experienced animal cater and has never let us down. My dogs love her coming to stay with them and now that I’ve sadly lost one of them, Fly has her all to himself! I would highly recommend Jemma 👍

Our dog absolutely adores Jemma. He has somehow worked out which days she is coming and sits whining at the door until she arrives, at which point he almost explodes with excitement. She takes such good care of all the dogs she walks, gives them tasty homemade healthy treats on the walks, makes sure they have water and is always conscious of their well-being (e.g. checking the dogs when it is hot to make sure that they aren't overheating). I don't know what we would do without her and I think our dog would be absolutely heartbroken if he couldn't see her anymore! 10/10 best dog walker.

The kennels and the service from Kate is amazing and I have a typical weimaraner who is very demanding and attention seeking and despite her whinning gets all the attention and love she needs from Kate. I would be lost without her so I hope she knows her service is very much appreciated

The cattery was in really nice condition, clean and well cared for. My cats seemed to get on well there and might have even enjoyed the experience, which is high praise from two hard to please cats. Will definitely be booking them in again in future if we're going away and stuck for cat care.

Left our 9month old GSD here for 9days August 2017. First time he had been in the kennels so was very worrying. Katie made us feel at ease, such a lovely person and loves dogs which is just what you want. Chaddy was very happy there and settled in well. Katie also said we could keep in touch whilst away of which we did and she would respond asap even though she is extremely busy!! Highly recommend but book fast as she is always full. Just tried to book for a couple of days in October but she is already full! Don't know how I'm going to find a better kennels and a better person to look after our much loved dog.

I would highly recommend this cattery! We were having a bathroom done and our indoor cat needed a home whilst this was going on. The builders kept changing the date and then took longer than we thought possible but this was never a problem and the owner was always happy to help. The owner was really kind and chatty. And our cat came back happy and unlike when we have used another cattery in the past he didn’t come back stressed or bald so the next time we need a cattery we would not consider using anywhere else! Thank you!

We have boarded our dog Willow with Katie for over 4 years and to be honest would be lost without her. Willow loves her stays there and is always very well looked after. Katie is always friendly and helpful. We highly recommend.

First time stay for our cat, just picked him up after a nine night stay. He seemed relaxed and totally unphased by his stay away from home which was great as he hasn't always dealt with catteries very well in the past, hiding in his box and not eating much; but not the case here. My first impression on dropping him off was that it was a lovely quiet setting and only a small place which great, I felt completely fine leaving him and wasn't disappointed! Five star 🐱

We have a particularly difficult dog with anxiety issues and I have no hesitation leaving him here. He is well looked after and always comes home looking really well and happy. I would not hesitate to recommend these kennels.

Sarah is brilliant! We've been with her every week for nearly a year now and she is so kind and treating my boy fabulous. I feel save leaving him with her and she is always super accommodating! If you look for somewhere: You found it!

Sarah was very accommodating for my little dog, Kamikaze. She had a good set up with a big crate and baby gates all over! We booked it quite late for her to take care of kamikaze while we were out for the day. I came back and she'd even walked him which was beyond what I was expecting. I would definitely recommend Sarah for doggy daycare and if I ever need to use her services again, I won't hesitate.

We have left our puppy with Sarah several times now and she's come back well looked after and a happy pup each time. Sarah is professional and makes a real effort to help our puppy settle. She loves going to see her friends. It has completely taken away any anxiety we had about leaving Tilly when away with work or holiday. I can't recommend Sarah highly enough.

Sarah has been looking after my young puppy Peanut for a few months now and he absolutely loves it. He’s a working cocker and she is a miracle worker and actually tires him out! He is so settled with Sarah, her family and the other doggies he plays with there. Sarah has also boarded Peanut for me and really helped with his training. I would highly recommend her! Marina x

Sarah looked after Basil for the weekend whilst we were away and it was an excellent choice. Her own dogs are lovely, friendly and welcoming and appeared to keep Basil very happy playing with him and looking after him on their walks (I know this because Sarah kept in touch and even sent a little video of them playing!). Sarah was great - clear re instructions and also flexible re my own timings for pick up and drop off. Basil came back happy and - here’s a good bit - nicely tired. I will certainly use Sarah’s service again. David.

After being surprised with a birthday trip away I only had two days to sort out pet care for my very first set of kittens. I’ve never had a cat sitter before and didn’t know what to expect or how to go about it. Looking on the internet there was a lot of random advertisements just with a name and mobile number that I wasn’t too sure about. I came across pedigree pet care Leeds which looked professional and I sent a text message at 8am desperate and not too hopeful that I would get somebody on such short notice. Sharon called me straight back, she was lovely, informative and reassuring. She organised to meet me that day after my home to discuss my needs and meet my furry babies. Sharon showed me all her professional paper work, dbs, pet life saving skills you name it she had it. Personalised a care plan with me and completely put me at ease. I was away for three days and every day I got messages and photos of the boys having a great time. Not only did she feed them but took them to the garden, played with them, cleaned the litter trays, took out the bin. My kittens like to spray their kitty litter everywhere when they have a dig so I expected a mess when I got back but everything was absolutely spotless and amazing. I can’t thank Sharon enough or recommend her more highly. I will not hesitate to use her services again. Thank you!!

Keith, my anxious spaniel, boards with Sharon if/when we go away. She keeps me up to date with messages and short videos and photos if it's a longer visit. I love that I'm sending my 4 legged friend to a home from home environment, and he still gets loads of fuss attention and excersise. My kids asked me "Mum, do you think Keith is missing us?" My answer was "probably not", and THAT is why Sharon is awesome.

I would highly recommend Sharon at Pedigree Pet Care.She came round before our holiday and told us about her services and all her qualifications.She was very easy to talk to and discussed with us our needs for Peter while we would be away.She sent us pictures of Peter,and updates while we were away.This was very reassuring for us as this was the first time we had left him.Everything was fine ,Peter loved Sharon and they quickly formed a bond.We will definitely be using Sharon again,She was brilliant,we will be recommending her to everyone we know with pets.

I can not recommend Paw Dayz highly enough. Richard, the dog walker is brilliant. He has walked our Labrador for over a year now and Percy is absolutely ecstatic to see him. Richard sends us daily updates and lots of pictures throughout the day. Richard also let us know if Percy wasn't being himself and always cared for him as if he was his own. Richard was brilliant with Nellie. He was able to have her at such short notice and she loved her weekend there. I got regular updates of pictures of videos. Nellie is already booked in for another weekend stay. Highly recommend!

Rich has been incredible this weekend with our little Roxy!!! ❤️ first time having her, she boarded for 2 days and she had the holiday of a lifetime. Richard is a wonderful dog Walker. He started walking my dog Poppy when she was about 3 or 4 months old. Poppy adores him. Richard will always go out of his way to help as he did when she was in season. He found the time to walk her round the block on a lead on her own in his busy schedule. Richard is absolutely fantastic, and we count ourselves very lucky to have found him! Cannot recommend him enough. Our rescue dog loves him and all the Paw Dayz 4-legged friends on his group walks. We feel 100% comfortable with our dog under Richard's care, knowing he is completely trustworthy, professional, reliable, flexible and super friendly with all his dogs and clients. We receive video updates and photos whenever he is on a walk, clearly having an amazing time. Over his time with our dog they have formed a great bond, and we would recommend Richard to anyone!

Our dog has been walking with Richard for several years now and it’s honestly the highlight of his week! He is so excited when he gets collected and has the best time running around with his friends. What can I even say, Nero loves Richard, he situates himself by the window longingly waiting for his buddy to come get him for his lunchtime walk. I can tell Richard is amazing with dogs by Nero’s excitement Everytime he sees him. They also offer dog boarding too, which has been invaluable for when I need to travel. My fur baby is in the best hands, he gets to socialise with other dogs, gets a good walk and as an added bonus Richard takes the best pictures of Nero. Thank you paw dayz team ♥️

Richard has been our dog walker for years now, he is great! reliable, professional, he really enjoys his time with the dogs and we really trust him with ours. he sends us walking pictures and i'm slightly worried he may ditch walking for professional dog photography!

I have used MBF service since February and I am really pleased with the service. Doris (my miniature dachshund) was only a puppy when joining the group and she has grown into an extremely sociable and friendly dog. She has great recall and absolutely loves going on her walks. The service has fitted Doris in last minute and communication has always been great, receiving updates after every day she has been with them. Couldn’t be happier with the service and would definitely recommend.

I’d been looking for doggy daycare for a few months in readiness for returning to the Office more often and found MBF by sheer chance on my way home from a walk with Dolly Dog, Molly was dropping off a neighbour’s pooch and we got chatting. She explained how the companion service worked and I had never heard of this before, such an innovative approach to dog care. I contacted Ross (owner) he returned my call that night, I was sold within minutes of talking to him, his passion and commitment to providing the best possible service to his clients shone through and my favourite part was his key priority for our fur babies to be safe and loved whilst living their best life. The rest is history… Molly collects Dolly Dog each morning, takes her out for a few hours of fun and adventures and then brings her home, words cannot do justice to how truly amazing she is, her kindness and sincerity meant that trust was established from the get go and the pictures below speak for themselves to show you how happy Dolly is 🐶 5 stars for service, reliability and value for money, nothing is too much trouble. The entire team are amazing, shout out to Claire too who Dolly also loves to be with the odd day, she even bailed me out at short notice on one occasion to have Dolly an extra day. I cannot recommend Tina, Claire, Ross and the MBF team enough. My labradoodle goes for companion service 2 days a week and loves it. I get photo and video updates showing how much he is enjoying himself, which I love. He was quite a shy dog to start with and after lots of discussions and suggestions from Ross and an initial meet and greet with the team, he settled in so well and I love seeing how much he now adores the whole team and regularly shows it with with all the affection. I would give 6 stars if I could

Total peace of mind that our puppy is being cared for whilst we are at work. He absolutely loves his adoptive parents and they absolutely love him. Brilliant communication throughout the day and always look forward to catching up with the photos on Facebook group when we get home from work. MBF have made having a dog possible for two busy people. Not only that but the companion service has been of huge benefit to our pups development - he is now confident with other dogs and off the lead.

Absolutely great service. I was recommended by a friend and so glad as its hard to find someone who will look after your dog as you would. I have the reassurance that my pup is looked after and happy, with regular photos and updates from Tina. She is amazing and really genuinely cares for all the dogs she has. Penny is always excited to see her each week which shows how much fun she has on her days out. Even when penny was poorly Tina would always message to make sure she was OK. We couldn’t be happier with the service we’ve experienced with MBF! Our golden retriever joined group walks at 4 months old and quickly settled in. It’s been a great experience for him to socialise with other dogs, gain confidence and we’ve noticed an improvement in his training such as recall. He comes back a truly happy and sleepy pup and we have the peace of mind knowing he’s being truly looked after by Ross and the MBF team with excellent communication via video and photo updates of his adventures. We’ve experienced an outstanding service and couldn’t recommend MBF more!

Buddy has been on weekly group dog walks with Ross for over two years. Over that period, Ross has shown a lot of patience and understanding with Buddy, as a result Buddy"s social skills with other dogs have improved. We can't thank Ross enough and would recommend him to other dog owners.

We had struggled to find care for Ted in Horsforth for longer than a one hour walk a day and then we came across the companion service which MBF offer. Ross was very responsive from the get go and Ross, Molly and Claire came to meet us within a few days and put us at ease straight away as they were all so lovely and passionate about the service they provided. The service we have received from Ross since has been excellent, he always keeps us well informed and is very responsive and helpful if we ever need anything. Ted goes out with Molly 3 times a week and he absolutely loves it. Molly is a ray of sunshine and is amazing with Ted, she clearly cares so much about the dogs and we know that he is in very safe and capable hands when he is with her. Ted gets so excited as soon as he sees Molly’s car and you can tell from the photos Molly takes on each walk that he is having the time of his life! Amazing service, great value for money, can’t recommend enough! Thank you MBF!

I wanted to post to say how fantastic MBF Dog & Training are. Based on a recommendation we got in touch with Ross about 6 years back as we were interested in employing a dog walker for Jessie our sprocker. Following a home visit by Ross, we were delighted that Ross (& Bosco) accepted Jessie to join the pack and more recently Peggy our second addition and I'm pleased to say that we've never looked back since then. Ross, Bosco & Claire have surpassed all of our expectations and we now consider them to be good friends. The walks are usually varied and our two especially love the Friday walk up to Swinsty & Fewston whenever possible. Communication is crucial in running a tight ship and Ross always keeps us informed on schedules & other things like photos & videos on social media which are brilliant. Our girls absolutely love Ross, Bosco & Claire and we can't recommend them highly enough. They are certainly top dog in our opinion ❤️

We are incredibly pleased to have found MBF, Cris cares for our cocker spaniel Oscar 4 days a week on the companion service. Cris always arrives on time and Oscars enthusiasm when seeing him speaks volumes about the genuine connection they've formed! We receive daily pictures to update us on his adventures, which is an added bonus. Trustworthy, reliable, and clearly passionate about his job, we would honestly be lost without the service!

My dog, Rudi, absolutely loves his time with Charlotte and gets so excited when he sees her at the door. The group walks are the highlight of his week—he comes back happy and well-exercised every time! It's clear she genuinely loves dogs, and I feel confident knowing Rudi is in good hands. Charlotte has made such an incredible difference to Rebel, our retired greyhound. When we first adopted him he was distracted by pretty much everything on walks and found other dogs very confusing and a bit scary. It was our goal to eventually build his confidence up to be able to go on group walks. Within just a few months of solo walks with Charlotte Rebs is like a different dog, so confident and friendly with other people and dogs! He now loves his weekly group walks and we're so grateful!

Charlotte does a fantastic job with our lab Lyra. Lyra is a bundle of energy, so it really helps to have Charlotte give her weekly group walks to get that energy out of her system! Charlotte is always kind and friendly, and was so gentle with Lyra even when Lyra was apprehensive the first few times. Lyra absolutely loves Charlotte and the other dogs in the group, and obviously has a wonderful time every walk. Thanks so much for all your care of my gorgeous pup! Charlotte is absolutely brilliant with our dog. His face lights up whenever he sees her. She has done wonders for his confidence and sociability with other dogs. We love the photo updates after each walk. Would fully recommend

Chester absolutely loves his walks with Charlotte and all of his dog friends and Richard who looks after my cats when I'm away is great, always staying in touch. Charlotte is always great at accommodating my last minute (as i'm slightly disorganised) requests. I would totally recommend!
