Not everyone is having fun at Fun4All. We had Maggie at here for boarding a couple times. However, the last time she ended up getting an infestation of lice. The infestation was so bad it took her to the brink of death. We're from out of town. We were unaware that canine lice was a thing to watch out for in the Okanagan. After her stay at the resort she wouldn't eat her regular vet certified food. We though she was just tired after too much fun at the resort, unfortunately her refusal to eat lasted for several days. We didn't realize that she was infested with lice until a few days later. She didn't have the regular symptoms scratching, other than the refusing to eat she didn't have another symptoms. We called the vet but couldn't get in until the following week. We shampooed her with medicated shampoo and cooked up some chicken and rice that she managed to get down. She was lethargic but stable. She suddenly took a turn for the worse and stopped drinking water. Worried sick, I thought it was the end for her. It was horrible to watch the decline of her heath. She is a senior dog but didn't think lice could take her out like this. She was just so uncomfortable and upset. Thankfully she pulled through after treatment from the vet. Between our fun4ll visit and the vet visit it ended up costing us a lot of money. As a warning and heads up to others, be sure to use a anti-flea/anti-lice treatment before taking your dog to a boarding facility. We wish were aware of the implications before arrival. Brought her in for a grooming in march. Maggie looked great and smelled like lemons when she was done. Booking required as they get quite busy. The groomer was super sweet.

We absolutely love and appreciate Fun 4 All Pet Resort so so much. The staff are fantastic and they shower love on our fur babies when we are not with them. We had just moved to Vernon and decided to adopt our little girl from a rescue in Mexico. My husband and I were concerned about what we were going to do with her while we were at work. We own a local clinic and thought we could just bring her to work — well that didn’t work for our pup. She needed more engagement and energy drained out of her. And Fun 4 All was the fix. With hope and prayer lol, we went to the resort, had a chat and they decided to take our girl in to observe how she would be with the others. The manager (at that time) was so kind and understanding to our situation. A quick assessment and pack walk/play with some of the other dogs and we were in!! If you’re on a wait list, stay on it and wait — totally worth it! Just having the peace of mind knowing that our dogs are happy and safe makes all the difference in the world when trying to juggle work life and dog “parenthood”. Thank you so much again. This is truly her second home.

We had an amazing experience with the pet resort! We needed a place for our cat to stay at very short notice due to the West Kelowna evacuation, they took her in with no questions asked and made sure we were reassured she would be well taken care of no matter what happened. They let us know she could stay as long as we needed to be away and gave us updates on how she was. They also waived the fee for us when we went to pick her back up. Thank you to the owners and all the staff there, we definitely have a new vacation spot for our fur babies moving forward!!

my wheaten terrier has been going to fun 4 all every monday since she was a puppy, she's 8 years old now. please people, treat your pets with nexgard and interceptor to ward of pests.

Good service, not bad price. Could be a bit cleaner though, smells like pee when you walk in bit its full of dogs so cant complain. But staff is very friendly and early drop off is a big plus. My dog hank is always happy when I pick him up. Various types of products for sale from food to toys and treats. Would recommend.

Henry my Boston Terrier loves daycare here. The staff are fun, friendly and professional. Play time and learning a few manners while socializing and getting tired for a great night's sleep 🙂 …

Our pup mandie has been going to fun4all since she was about 6 months old. She is now 6 and still loves coming here. She is exhausted from all the love and attention t the end of the day , often sound asleep before I get out of the parking lot. She knows where she is going when we turn down the street and can't wait to get there . We love fun4 all even the boarding is awesome..would t gonanywhere else

The whole team there is grrrreat!!! They’re so good with my dog. She’s always got buddies there to play with, she loves it. I’m so great full they’re able to burn her never ending tank of energy. After a visit there, she’s asleep in the car before I even start the engine to go home. I highly recommend!!!

Chelsea is super great our doggo loves going there. She walks them daily has play time and takes them to the river for a swim if they are allowed to. Our doggo comes back very tired and well taken care of. Due to the forest fires around the area we have had to change some bookings and she has been very flexible and understanding.

Absolutely wonderful kennel! We were traveling this way to go house boating and needed weekend accommodations for our dog. Chelsea was so easy to communicate with, we ended up having to change our reservation last minute as one dog got injured right before the trip and she was fantastic to deal with. During the stay I received many photos/videos of my dog having the absolute best time at the beach.

It was a great feeling to know that our dog was well cared for and able to run on a big acerage with a river beside it. Chelsea runs the pet resort as if every dog was hers, she posts daily Instagram photos..We would definitely recommend Chelsea and the pet resort !!!!

Shuswap Pet Resort is PHENOMENAL! This was my first time leaving my little dachshund anywhere, and I was beyond nervous. Right from booking, Chelsea made me feel SO comfortable with answering all my questions. The facility/land is absolutely beautiful and drop off was easy and smooth. Chelsea kept me informed for the entirety of my 8 day vacation constantly sending me videos and updates on Toby. I love that Chelsea posts on Instagram so I could stay updated through her story when I wanted to check in on my dog. Toby had an AMAZING time and is a whole new pup now that I've picked him up. I would 150% recommend Shuswap Pet Resort as my FIRST and ONLY choice in the Shuswap area. They took care of amd loved my dog in the same way that I do and I couldn't be more grateful! Couldn’t ask for a better place!!! I was kinda skeptical about bringing my dog to a place for a week, but right away I could tell she was in great hands. They go above and beyond! I got pictures and videos everyday of my dog Charlotte playing, swimming and sleeping. She definitely cares about every dog there, it’s not just a job. This will be the only place I bring my dog from now on. Couldn’t be happier

We are so happy we found the shuswap pet resort. The owners and staff were absolutely amazing with our lil busy boy Arlo. We have never felt comfortable leaving him at any kennel until now. As soon as we drove in we knew he was going to love it. He spent 3 wonderful days making new friends and even used as a therapy dog for active and anxious dogs having trouble settling in. We picked him up a happy and confident lil man. Definitely highly recommend the wonderful shuswap pet resort for your furry lil friends. Amazing kennel where you feel so comfortable leaving your furry family members. Wendy was so quick to respond, incredibly friendly and accommodating. She was great with our dogs. We left both my dog and my parents dog together and they were extremely well cared for. We will definitely be coming back :)

I had an excellent experience with Shuswap Pet Resort. I was tree planting in the area and needed daycare for my dog during the long hours I was at work. They were very flexible and accommodating with the early morning drop off and late evening pick up times that I needed. The price was really reasonable and my dog seemed to enjoy going there too!

To anybody reading the reviews, please ignore the one from Daisy Franks. She must have been having a bad day. These people will accommodate your needs as best they can. I have seen them pick up and drop off at your house, instead of you driving to Lumby. These people look after up to 20 dogs at a time, they all get fed, they get medication that they need, they get exercise and play time. The dogs are not kenneled, they are allowed to sleep wherever they want except the kitchen table and counters. My senior dog goes there on a regular basis. She doesn't do stairs well. They always make sure she goes through the garage, where there's only 3 stairs to climb. Robb and Michael have gone out of their way to help me look after my beautiful bull mastiff. Any one who thinks they provide poor service is off their nut. Find out for yourself. Thanks Robb and Michael for everything you have done for me and Koda.

I’m so happy to bring my pups to Robb and Michael. They genuinely love having them and I like that my dogs get to run and be free with the other dogs. They are always pooped out when they come home and they are always excited to be dropped off with them. Great value as well!

Our Dog loves going to Holiday Hounds he gets so excited when they pick him up in the morning. Holiday Hounds take such good care of our dog as well, whenever we travel we know he is safe with them.

We cannot say enough about The Dog Guys!! Our pup always returns to us in excellent health and spirits with unchanged behaviour. Plus she is always happy to be dropped off there. The care is evident. We could not ask for better guardians when we're away.

Holiday Hounds are the best! We know our 2 big babies are being fed, supervised, exercised and loved when we have to leave them. Our dogs are Cane Corsos, a pretty intimidating breed on paper, but Robb & Michael have welcomed them without prejudice into the pack. And they work with us to make pickup & dropoffs convenient and quick. Very highly recommend (but don't take our spots haha)!

Cork is always SO happy when we pull into the “Barking Lot”. They greet him by name and he is off and running. When he is there overnight I can see pictures of him and I know he is so well cared for. It is such a comfort to k own that when I have to be away he has another home to go to ♥️

The staff are 10⭐ - very caring, knowledgeable, and attentive, and THEY TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES OF THE DOGS DAY so you know what your pup was up to!! My pup had never been left with others and had pretty bad separation anxiety, but the staff had excellent suggestions on easing him in. In just a few weeks his confidence and trust have grown so much, and he is SO excited to get to Collar Club to go play!!

Staff wasn’t friendly and a “mickey mouse” set up. Fine for small dogs that wont cause staff any work vibes. As below they don’t have in their “records” myself my wife and dogs were never there. Our appt was 21 August 1015 AM. Showing again how micky mouse it is.

Awesome place to board your dog. Wonderful caring staff, great facility. My dog Rosie loves staying there, she gets so excited when she knows she's going to stay at The Collar Club. What a relief knowing your loved puppy is being so well cared for. Cannot say enough good things about the doggy daycare and the personnel. My go to place to board my girl when I go on vacation and when she needs to socialize with other lovely dogs.

We love The Collar Club! Noelle literally starts dancing when it’s time to go hang out with her friends and she comes home happy and tired from a day of play.

Archie loves the Collar Club. He was a rescue and we were told he could never be around other dogs. We spoke with the staff and they agreed to work with him and socialize him. A year later and he is mixed right in having the time of his life! He's so exhausted from all the playing when he gets home. I highly recommend Collar Club. They have done wonders for Archie!

We adopted a dog Peggie from the SPCA in Jan 2023 and she came from a horrible experience, was very nervous and anxious around other dogs - The Dog Collar Club in Vernon - has been absolutely FANTASTIC in helping Peggie feel comfortable, safe and make new friends. Both our dogs get so excited when I turn onto PV Rd because they know they are going to the Collar Club. They cannot get out of the truck fast enough. They come home happy and tired from a day of ‘clubbing’ with the other dogs. Staff are wonderful and our furry family members get to enjoy a safe place to play and hang out with a great group of dogs.

Shelley and Shannon were incredible and took great care of my two cats. One of them is very skittish and likes to hide when afraid. They gave him two units so he can have a hidey spot to make him feel more safe. They truly love and adore cats and it made it so much easier to leave them for a few days as I knew they were in great hands. First time using Kits and Kats and definitely not the last. Thank you Shelley and Shannon for taking such great care of my babies!

Shannon and Shelley took absolutely great care of our cat while we were away on holidays. They were always quick to reply to e-mails, and gave us updates on our little guy, giving us peace of mind during our trip. The live stream camera footage is a great feature when you're missing your furry friend and want to check in. Lots of spacious kennel room and plenty of toys. You can really tell how much love they put into their work. We will definitely be using Kits & Kats Sitting Service in the future!

Shannon and Shelly have worked caring for two of my babies each with very specific needs. They work with you and your cat to make it the best experience possible for all. Their prices are more than fair for what they offer. You can't fake being a cat person and these two people love your pets like fheir, if you want peace of kind while you're away; book a spot for your kitty with them.

You can tell they are cat lovers. Very clean and modern place. Very loving people. We were nervous leaving our kitten figgy (she’s our first cat) and they made us feel very comfortable. When we came to pick her up she was sitting in their laps and could tell she felt comfortable as well. Thank you so much, will be our choice for cat sitting in the future ❤️

We were very pleased with Kits and Kats. They made special efforts to make our senior cat "Blues" ultra comfortable. I recommend them. They are cat lovers and understand the sitting service profession.

When my dad fell sick and I needed someone to watch his pug (Rambo), Kelly at Laughing Dog really came through for us. She took excellent care of him and he looked better than when I dropped him off! She obviously knows a lot about dogs and gave me some really good advice about taking care of him. She even brought Rambo to see my dad at the hospital and it totally made his day. I can't say enough good things about Kelly. Highly recommend her!!

I wish I could give Kelly more than 5 stars. My boys having been going to Kelly's daycare for almost 4 years. From the first day she met them they loved her. Kelly took care of them like they were her own boys. My one boy has allergies and even when they spend overnight trips there she goes out of her way to ensure he is okay. Kelly is knowledgable everything there is to know about the boys. She spends time on them and they love it there. Everytime I turn the corner on the highway to Aberdeen they know they are heading to Kelly's place and they get so excited. They enjoy playing with the other dogs and romping in the big play area. Kelly has been fantastic to deal with, she has helped me get through the puppy years and now that they are big boys she has been a fountain of information. One time on facebook Kelly posted a video and her voice was on speaker and both my dogs went crazy, they got so excited to hear her voice we had to record the boys and send it to her. She took Christmas pictures of our boys and sent them to us. She shares pictures of the boys on walks and playing in the back yard. We just love it and wish we didn't have to work so much. I love knowing that I can take my boys somewhere safe and where they are well cared for. If you need a home away from home I recommend Kelly. She is so easy to deal with and is straight to the point. My boys love the place and go there two to four times a week and all of our holidays. I am a very happy fur mom to have found Kelly.

We have been taking our dogs to Kelly's "Laughing Dog Kennels" since 2013 or 2014. Kelly is absolutely amazing, I don't even know where to start. First, she treats our dogs like family. They get so much attention and love from her and her children and she sends photos of them playing, and snuggling throughout the day. The dogs have so much open space to play in her huge backyard, and they come home exhausted from all the activities and fun. Second, Kelly is very responsible, and makes sure all the dogs have their shots and are up to date. This helps protect our dogs, so it always makes me happy to know they are somewhere safe. Lastly, her rates are super reasonable and I am always happy to take our dogs to her place for our date nights or when we need a day off their energy. Our dogs LOVE Kelly's! Thanks Kelly for so many good years of reliable care for our pups! We all love you!

Kelly and her staff are amazing! My trip was extended unexpectedly and she was flexible and understanding! I knew that my Luna was being well taken care of and that I could choose to stay longer rather than drive a new to me vehicle on the Coquhalla at night and be safe! If I lived here, I would take Luna here again for sure!!

Kelly has watched our dog Rexxi for daycare in the summers and just recently boarded her for 2 weeks while we went to Mexico for Christmas. Rex was so well taken care of and Kelly put us at ease knowing our girl was in good hands so we could enjoy a stress-free vacation. Kelly even went out of her way and bathed her for us when we got back to make our lives easier when flying in late. Will be continuing to keep Rex in daycare and trust Kelly with boarding her whenever we leave town and can't take her with us.

We had already left our dog in other places, but from the first moment we arrived, Kelly transmitted the right energy to our furry boy and we felt comfortable. The owner took care of our Sam as if he were her own and we were happy.

My dog 🐕 just loves being at Laughing Dog Kennels. Kelly the owner is amazing! Whenever I bring my dog to her for boarding. He literally just runs in without looking back to say bye 👋. Kinda breaks my heart 💔 but I know it's because he is just excited to be back. My family and I were camping in Vernon and we decided to put our two boys here for 2 nights so they could have dog fun with other dogs. Although I appreciated the call from the owner because my dogs were barking that night...I felt that at a dog daycare, someone in that industry should be able to handle my dogs barking like any other dog at the kennel when we arrived. They have been in several kennels and it has never been of concern. The barking, which I told Kelly, is normal for this herding breed and it did not concern me although she was concerned. I assured her it was normal for them to bark a lot. It's a breed trait. What concerned me is that after they had settled, (We were in constant contact, ) we were still asked to pick them up a day early because they bark. When I dropped my dogs off another owner was coming to pick up her dog because of barking. I am glad we picked them up because they are very sick. We had a larger Tupperware container full of various treats and it was basically empty. She later told me some had spilled out of the container but admitted she did give them a lot. My dogs, after only one night of I assume accessive treating to keep them quiet, had diarrhea and were throwing up all night. After one night with her. They stink like crazy, my two year old dogs bum was caked in poo. And my younger dog is the most loving, cheerful, outgoing boy and he is sad, withdrawn and even seems afraid. Is hiding under furniture...I am really upset about this. A professional daycare should have the knowledge and ability to deal with various types of dogs and adjust to their needs. They are intelligent, loving and fully trained Icelandic sheepdogs... so disappointed.

I lived beside Kelly and her family for 3.5 years. My kitchen window looked over her back field. I spent many a day watching her run and play with the dogs. Getting her beautiful children interacting with them too. She makes your dog part of her family. She helped my eldest over come his bit of dog timidness. He now needs to speak and hopefully pet, every dog he encounter's. When we do get a dog, the only person who will be watching our dog, will be Kelly :)

Absolutely incredible service and care of our two dogs by the owner Tania. She went above and beyond for us when we had an opportunity to extend our ski trip in Sun Peaks for an extra two nights, and didn't hesitate to accommodate our request. She even provided the extra dog food we needed to allow us to stay. There's good service and then there is exceptional service, which is what Tania provided. Thank you so much again for caring for our fur babies.

Tania's kennel is a good one. There is indoor/outdoor accommodation for all weather conditions, a good play area, and great care provided. Our Alaskan Malamute, Ruby, had stayed at Two Paws Up several times for 2 or 3 days at a time over a recent span of two years. Then we went to Europe for 18 nights away. Ruby didn't agree to an extended stay and chewed through the chain-link fencing on her run only to find she had "escaped" to the run next door! In a different run with heavier chain-link, she figured out how to get under the heavier fencing! Tania brought Ruby into her home for the remaining 15 nights of our absence. She and her Staff looked after Ruby with the professional diligence that prevented any further difficulties. I trust Tania and the Staff she works with. You can too! Aleta Wallace 16oct23

We've been boarding our poodles here for well over a decade (after a horrible experience at another local kennel where my standard poodle was traumatized). He LOVED 2 Paws Up!) On the drives to Tappen the dogs figure out where they were going and get so excited! At pick-up time, they greet me happily, but are in no hurry at all to leave all their new canine friends and the fun at Tania's. They give her goodbye kisses. That is the best sign to me that this is the best boarding kennel around! We travel several times a year, and are thankful our baby(ies) are cared for, and enjoying their vacation, too.

Tania was amazing. We dropped our 3 pugs off several times during our vacation for some sleep overs - they loved their play dates!! Highly recommended!!

5 stars for Morgan! Super impressed with Morgan and her work with my lab pup. Charlie is so excited to see her and it’s a big relief that’s she not stuck inside all day while we have to work. Have recommended Dirty Paws to a few other dog owners and will continue when anyone ever asks me!

I signed my dog Piper up with Morgan a few months ago to see how she would do with other dogs. Piper struggled for a bit with sometimes displaying dominance towards other dogs, so I asked Morgan to take her out with her own dog to see how they would fair. Not only does Piper have ZERO issues now getting along with other dogs, she actually knows what days of the week Morgan comes to pick her up. She waits on her bed by the front door patiently, and happily goes off with her when she arrives. Seriously, from day 1 she left with Morgan without any fuss. Piper comes back absolutely exhausted. She goes on 2 hour hikes with Morgan, her dog Fynn and sometimes other clients dogs too! Morgan shares photos and videos of them on the accounts page, and it's so nice to see how happy she looks during these adventures! With my family and I working varying shifts and all full-time, this helps us ensure that she still gets a good run 3x a week and tires her out, keeps her happy and healthy. So if you're looking for someone you can fully trust with your dog, to take them out, to love and treat them as their own.. look no further. I am incredibly selective on who I would leave Piper with (she's my baby, after all), but I fully trust Morgan with her. Piper does too! She's amazing! We love Morgan (and Fynn)!! Thank you so much for everything you do.

I can’t say enough amazing things about Morgan and Dirty Paws! She has helped my big scaredy-cat Swissy learn to navigate through distractions of all kinds, be a very good boy off leash, and be happy to run and play with other dogs... all while having a blast and getting all his energy out! Morgan consistently accommodates to any requests for certain areas or types of walks/hikes and works with me each time for pick up and drop off locations. She even made a house call to let the pups out and give them dinner when I was stuck out of town longer than expected! She recently started taking my new female Swissy on “exposure” walks and I can definitely see an improvement in her behaviour! It’s not just a dog walking service, she really helps your beloved furry ones become their best dog selves :)

I can't say enough great things about Dirty Paws Adventures! My husband and I both are working long days one day of the week and Morgan from Dirty Paws shows up in her Vehicle to pick up our dog Lincoln. He is so excited he runs outside and jumps into the back of her vehicle and off they go on an adventure for 2 hours. We have also trusted Morgan of Dirty Paws with all our animals and our house when we were away and were beyond happy how things went while we were away.

Morgan has been amazing! Remmy loves going for walks with her and always comes back tired! From the moment I met her I knew I could trust her to come pick my dog up and return him while I was at work! Dirty paws is the best!
