Donna gave off a great dog-loving vibe and her face lit up when I brought my dogs in. I was so frazzled when The Barking Lot let me down, and Lively Lane had room and saved our night! She took great care of our dogs and we were very comfortable leaving our dogs there.

I wish this was a National Wide Brand! Best dog kennel we have every left our Yorkies at. You can see it in your dogs persona when they have been taken care of well - and my babies were happy as can be! And to my surprise they were also given a bath and had their nails trimmed before being returned to me!! WOW!! I can trust these people with my babies anytime, they have earned my business and trust!

Lively Lane Kennels helped us so much. I was due with my first baby December 14th. They held a spot for us from December 11-19th in case my son came early or late and they were very flexible with drop off and pick up times. My dog, Cooper was very well taken care of and I got to enjoy my son completely in the hospital instead of worrying about how my dog was doing. I highly recommend Lively Lane Kennels and we will only use them when we need to put our dog in a kennel in the future.

My dog just loves the daycare. They are always willing to keep her if something comes up. She gets loads of treats and gets out to play with other dogs.

She is a groomer, not a pet watching kennel.

She is great. I thought Jax is going to call her Aunt Donna. She is going to try her best to socialize him within a month not attending very much. Highly recommend doggie daycare lots of interaction.

Awesome place to leave your dog, whether overnight, or for a week. They will have a warm friendly place to stay, and a nice big yard to play in. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars!!

Becca is the BEST!!! My pets absolutely love her and she goes above and beyond to be sure they are safe and happy. She treats them as if they were her own. She provides quality time for them when we can’t be there. She loves them and they love her!!! I’d recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter or daily visit or walk for their fur babies. Prices are reasonable too!!!

My fiancé and I LOVE Rebecca’s services! She is always reliable and trustworthy. We moved to the area at the beginning of the year and were weary about inviting someone into our home to watch our pups, but Rebecca is the best. She updates you while she is taking care of your fur babies so you can travel with ease. I would recommend her 100 times!

Rebecca has cared for my dogs (and cat) for quite a while, we don’t know what we’d do without her! She is very responsible, trustworthy, and devoted to the animals she cares for. Our last dog had medically complex issues and she cared for him as if he were her own. Now we have a very large breed puppy and she is constantly teaching him manners and commands. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a pet sitter!

Becca truly cares about animals and treats our 3 cats as if they were her own. She provides us great (and humorous) updates and takes away the stress of leaving our cats when we travel. It’s comforting to know we have a service like hers in our community.

Becca creates a connection with animals like I have never seen and it’s truly amazing. My dog goes crazy when I tell him that she is coming over to watch him or take him for a walk. He gets more excited to see her than anyone else he knows. She really knows how to take care of pets and make sure all their needs are met.

We are so grateful for the service provided by Becca. Ditto to all the positive reviews here. She took excellent care of our cats and sent updates and photos daily during a recent trip. She took time to meet them before we left and they really took to her. It was such a relief knowing such a professional, caring person was there to check up on them when we could not be there. We used TLC Pet Resort, we were attending a wedding in the area. Staff, very professional and never left you wondering or with unanswered questions. Safety is definitely a top priority when dropping your pets. Double doors at the entry and when taking your pets thru to their kennel. Place was exceptionally clean. They provide food and treats if you wish, no up charge. They also welcome you to bring your own for sensitive pups. Play time and exercise is given throughout the day. Cost is very reasonable. My pup loved it there without a doubt, he thought he went on vacation. They also offer extra services, grooming etc if you book ahead. Definitely 5 star, pet resort. *You will need to leave a message when you call to reserve. They WILL promptly return your call.

We absolutely love Dan and his wife along with all the staff. They take great care of our Ember and we have total confidence and trust in them.

I highly recommend this kennel to everyone. I reached out to this place when another kennel canceled on me last minute before I was leaving for vacation and they were able to take my German shepherd puppy so I didn't have to cancel my vacation!! Dan & Beth were beyond expectional to us and my puppy!! We will definitely be using this kennel again!!! Thanks so much!!

Been taking my cat here since moving to the area and have never had a bad experience. The owners are kind, helpful, and easy to get a hold of. The facility is clean and seems like a very safe environment for any pet. It seems the staff certainly interact with your pet on a regular basis rather than just leave them to sit in their pen. Brings me peace of mind knowing I am leaving my cat with them when need be.

Idk why there was a 3 star review this. This is a 5 star place!! They did great with my dogs when I went on vacation and I have a very big shepard then a tiny spaz dog. The owners are Super easy going nice people. Will use them in the future whenever we are going out of town. Whoever left other review? Idk but changing my password.. I'm onto you....🤨

They are absolutely the best!! Treat my 115 lb lab like he's theirs!! The kennel is always clean. They rock!! I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else!! My dog Max is always thrilled to go, runs right in and is so happy there. We call it his "pup motel" .

I take my 2 pups (Golden Retreiver & American Bully) to Hannah at DHDR whenever we go out of town, and I absolutely love it! I’m very particular over my babies and Hannah takes amazing care of them. She’s very quick to respond to any texts or anything if I’m missing my pups, sends pics, and updates if needed! They also offer baths at the end of the boarding stay for an additional cost which is awesome, and that’s only 1 of the many beneficial add ons you can opt into while booking! The website to book is very user friendly, too! I highly recommend Hannah and DHDR if you need a place to board your fur babies while you’re away!

The most amazing group of people and place to board your dogs. I have always had issues trusting other people with my babies, but Hannah, Mick, and Maddy are THE BEST. My girls love packing up and heading to “hannahs.” All 3 of my girls are timid at first, but never once showed hesitation with the DHDR crew. I know that when I drop my girls off, they will receive all of the love and care that I would give them. They each come home happy, which is all I could ever ask for when boarding my girls. They also take so many pictures and send updates throughout my longer trips, which means so much to see the girls actively enjoying their time there. I highly recommend Down Home Dog Resort for all of your boarding needs. It’s truly my girls home away from home and I am forever grateful. 🤩

We have been so pleased with Down Home Dog Resort. We have a 3 year old yellow lab who started going for boarding when he was around 1 year old. He was not an easy pup as he struggled with a lot of separation anxiety. Hannah and her staff were so compassionate, patient, and very willing to problem-solve with us so he would feel more comfortable (not to mention they have cleaned up quite a few messes and given quite a few unplanned baths in the process). We also boarded our senior black lab until he passed. We were so comfortable with his care as an aging dog. Hannah and her staff gave him so much appropriate care and attention. We have experienced flexibility and so much hospitality. Hannah posts pictures and is very responsive to questions and needs so that we have always felt comfortable knowing how are fur-babies are doing.

Dogs love it, they keep us updated with pictures and responsive to text. Dogs are always excited when we pull up, which hasn't happened in other places. Shout out to Maddie Ceremuga and her awesome grooming service there!

We love Hannah and Mick! I always know my dog is in the best care when she's with the Down Home crew. Barbie gets so excited to go to playcare. The facility is always spotless, excellent retail section, and top notch care. Hannah and Mick always make sure to go the extra mile for the dogs. I'd recommend to anyone!!

My Aussiedoodle, Nova, began training with Hannah Adams @ Down Home Dog Resort when she was just two months old. She has gone through a number of sessions since that time with the most recent course being the Community Canine course. Today, 10/18/24, I wrote Hannah to say: Nova (now 11 months old) sends a big thank you to Miss Hannah this morning. Yesterday we experienced quite the fiasco when we got locked out of our camper (three hours away from home). Hours later after attempting numerous ways to get us back in, we resorted to a hotel room. Because of Miss Hannah and our community canine classes, Nova navigated everything with ease. Hours in the car and on a leash, crowds, a restaurant, elevators, rolling luggage passing by, stairs and strange places. She’s definitely a little tuckered out this morning and a wee bit off since the routine is off but overall she did great and that was the best part of her mama’s day!! I honestly can’t imagine how much harder this would have been without our classes with you! Training with Hannah/Down Home Dog Resort is definitely worth the time and effort. It benefits both you and your dog!

Hannah is amazing! She helped me train one of my dogs to be a certified therapy dog, and now I'm training another! Wonderful experience and my dogs love going to classes!

We have trusted our Bernedoodle with Hannah & the team at DHDR since she joined our family. We benefited from group training sessions as new dog owners, and it has been wonderful having a playcare option to help our dog with her socialization - I love seeing all the fun that they have! When we have been out of town, we have been able to board Lucy with DHDR too. Over & over, Hannah, Mick, & Maddy show their love for & knowledge of Lucy & her personality/needs. We trust them & value all that they provide to the local dog community. Highly recommend!

We've been clients since 2022. We've boarded, attended private sessions, attended group classes and the occasional group walk. Always a good time with great takeaways each class. Can't wait to see what the future holds!

Our 2 old dogs (10 and 15) were kenneled here for the first time ever in their lives. They were well taken care of! The owner sent pics of the dogs playing outside every 3 to 4 days. They were also bathed before picking them up. Highly recommend!!!

We are so impressed with the excellent care given to our Springer Spaniel, Gracie!! She has a few health issues and usually doesn’t do well away from home. We picked her up yesterday and she acted totally like herself, usually takes her several days to recoup. Jan and her staff give your pets excellent care with play time, excercise and so much more, even pictures!! We absolutely recommend Maxfield Pet Resort!

I'm so impressed! Jan and her staff go above and beyond to make a comfortable boarding experience for both me and my dogs. Response time, accommodations, her clear level of care are all exceptional. We have a dog who can be a little harder to manage and I couldn't feel better leaving him in her watch. I'm glad to have such a good kennel so close to Meadville and will do my best to book with them in the future.

I love Jan and her staff! My two young cats have been going there for a couple of years; this time we included our 14 year old cat and our 7 month old puppy. I'll be able to rest easy on our vacation knowing all of our pets are being loved and cared for. ❤️

Jan is so kind and caring to all animals entrusted to her care. She sent us pictures often of our cat's antics while she was there for a month. I highly recommend Maxfield's for all your fur baby's housing needs!

This pet resort meets all your expectations and more. I took my 4 furbabies their and I truly believe they treated them as their own. My babies, 2 siamese cats, a goldendoodle on medication for seizures and a pit mix who has trust issues will not be boarded any place but here. I got text updates with pictures. I received a collage of pictures of the four of them. They gave the dogs oatmeal baths and reported everything back to me. My babies were there for 10 days, which is a long time for me. As long as they are there, I will rest easy while on vacay knowing they are getting the best care. Thank you so much I am over the top impressed.
