I have been dropping off my bestie/roommates new puppy for nearly 3 weeks now. She receives training (they also send email "report cards" complete with pictures - see attached), lots of playtime, and absolutely loves going here. On the mornings she does not go she whines and waits at the front door. I'm thrilled there is a place we can take her where we know she will be treated so well that she can't wait to go back. You can also watch your fuzzy family members on the cams to check on them throughout the day. I highly recommend Suite Dog Daze.
I have taken my Golden Retriever in for grooming a few times. Most recently he was a hot mess before going in. He came back beautiful. Each time I’ve taken him there they have done a spectacular job. I will gladly recommend them to anyone with a dog who loves rolling in mud.
I love suite dog daze! They have been wonderful at adapting to the needs of my silly girl. She used to be troublesome and jump fences which would prevent other facilities from allowing her to stay, but suite dog daze was able to accommodate! We have also been to many training classes which keep my girl enriched and have helped her training in addition to my understanding! When she’s gotten baths from them she is super clean and I always see what a great job the groomers do. I absolutely love them and so does my girl!
If you have a dog, Suite Dog days is the place to go for training, grooming and boarding. Lisa, the owner, is an incredible dog lover, and her staff follows in her wake. Thanks to her big heart, we were united with the most wonderful new member of our family. Thanks Lisa
My husband and I went on our honeymoon in Japan for 19 days so we wanted to make sure our dog, Brewsky, was in a place where he would feel comfortable and where we'd know he was being well taken care of. Suite Dog Daze did a great job of meeting these expectations. We didn't have any phone service in Japan so it was really awesome that we were able to check in with the live feed cameras that were available and know we could reach out via email if we needed to. We also really enjoyed the grooming service that we added so Brewsky was nice and clean when we picked him up! I would recommend this place to anyone who's traveling. It's apparent that the owner and her staff have a deep love and compassion for all the dogs that stay so you know your furry child is safe and cared for!
I will be coming back here with all my dogs! My malamute got sprayed by a skunk and they got me in the very next day as early as possible. They were so nice and understanding, and he came out CLEAN. He is usually pretty grumpy when we try to give him a bath or do his nails at home, but somehow the groomer made him comfortable enough to where he didn’t have any issues. He was so floofy and clean, his nails were perfect, and he even came out with a cute little bandana. I love those guys!
BEWARE!!! This place is not what it seems! I write this review in hopes that it will save others from the disappointment, stress and financial strain using this place has caused me. Let me also preface this by saying that I had reasonable expectations that my dogs would be cared for in the manner for which I paid and I am well aware of the inherent risks associated with boarding dogs. The first time I used Suite Dog Daze(SDD) services I took my two dogs for an afternoon of daycare and baths and one of them wound up with a double ear infection which resulted in at least $200 in vet bills. I thought maybe this was just a coincidence…. For my second experience with SDD I boarded my two dogs for a few days and a few days after picking them up one of them turned up with kennel cough (both dogs are vaccinated and I know it is not guaranteed to protect them) When I called and notified SDD staff they said “we’ll make a note of it”. The conversation was so short and felt very dismissive and unconcerned. The third experience with SDD was the worst and absolutely not the level of care I thought I was paying for. This was a 6 day stay through the Thanksgiving holiday. Already on edge that this wasn’t quite the safest place for them to stay, I checked the cameras more frequently and what I found broke my heart and confirmed my fears. What I thought I was paying for posted on their website : “5ft x 10ft x 6ft, and larger, Or 4ftx8ftx6ft. All day play included!” Note: there is also a disclaimer that says “(SDD reserves the right to choose best fit accommodations for each dog which may include a crates versus a suite.” In this case they decided my two dogs would stay in a very small crate on the cold floor for the duration of their stay. No cot, no blanket, in the”training room” and often spending at least 16 hours in the kennel. They were fed together in the same small kennel during which the larger of my two dogs ate the most of the other dog’s food, which doesn’t usually happen with just a little bit of supervision. “Play time” consisted of the dogs just pacing around the room following the handler cleaning up after them. Not once did I see any engagement with the dogs. With each passing day, my concerns mounted and I watched the cameras more often and witnessed one of my dogs get sprayed with water while the garage door was open in the 30-40 degree weather. It is no surprise that both of my dogs got sick. After stressing for my entire trip about what was happening to my dogs, I rushed back from the airport and attempted pick up at 12:20. Only to find the office closed from 12-2 which is only posted on the front door. Thankfully someone responded to my message via Facebook and allowed the bather on site to deliver my dogs. Upon pickup, both dogs smelled like urine, both had runny noses and sneezes, congestion and cough. Both obviously sick and absolutely exhausted. As if that wasn’t awful enough, the smaller of my two dogs had small cuts all over his body. This place brags on their website about a ratio of 1/10 handlers/dogs which was not the case any time I checked the cameras. In fact I noticed a complete lack of care every time I checked the cameras which was frequent because I had a bad feeling. There were many times I checked the cameras and couldn’t even locate my dogs. Much to my dismay, after doing some digging, I found other reviews on this place that nearly mirrored my experiences. Yes, there are inherent risks when boarding your dogs but each time I used this place something bad happened to my dogs. As a disabled veteran or any dog mom for that matter, it is very disappointing to spend so much money to have someone care for your pets (family) and then to have to turn around and spend hundreds more in vet bills. I suspect this place has its tentacles deeply rooted in the local community which is why it has been able to continue to treat dogs so poorly and get away with it.
First time experience for my dog and I was thankful for the welcoming staff! My dog was nervous, but having the ability to watch the livestream video alleviated my concerns. My dog adjusted and did well. The staff are very helpful and kind!!
We have brought our dog Daisy to this facility for several months, utilizing both daycare and boarding. Daisy is a very social and happy dog and enjoyed playing with other dogs. We boarded her (for the second time) over Thanksgiving for two nights. As she jumped into our truck upon pick-up the smell that hit me was atrocious. She was covered in MALE urine. Not just on her paws….all over her body and her paws were obviously burning as she was licking them continuously in the car. This was the second time that we had an experience like this there. When I brought this up to the owner Lisa in an email, she had many excuses of why this can and does happen. She then tried to place the blame back on us for not prescheduling a bath for Daisy on departure. That is unacceptable. At the very least, I should have been notified of Daisy’s condition, and they should have attempted to remove some of urine off of her. I think no one even realized to be honest, which in itself is concerning. There should be a reasonable expectation of safety and care and this fell far below that reasonable expectation. Daisy will not be going back….
The groomers at Suite Dog Daze worked a miracle with my dog. He is a large long haired, double coated dog who has historically been so anxious and rowdy with groomers that he has been turned away by them. I brought Kooper in pretty rough condition, matted in multiple areas and with a ton of energy first thing in the morning. The grooming team called my about 4 hours later saying he was ready for pick up, I half expected to pick up a shaved and anxious dog from them, but instead was pleasantly surprised to see they were able to work out all the matting and undercoat without shaving him at all! I was so happy with their wonderful work! I will absolutely be bringing him back again!
My dog had an appointment in the afternoon. Was told to drop off in the morning. My dog was there all day. Came home with fleas and her haircut could be compared to a home groom. Dogs were everywhere when I dropped off and it seems like the boarding clients and the grooming clients were intermingled. Will not go back. The price is enticing, but at what cost?
Shelly and her team are fabulous. They are kind and take excellent care of my dog. They go above and beyond (like when my dog Houdini’d her way out of my yard and they let me know)! - I am happy to have them in our community!
Great place! I really trust them with our dogs. I continue to board our dogs there because I couldn’t find a place in Salem I really felt comfortable with. Our dogs are a handful to deal with at times and they always do a great job!
Wow, what kind service.!!! Definitely will be looking forward to coming back here.!!! She took care of both of my Shih Tzu’s, they were very relaxed with her also.!!!
I have taken my dog to Shaggy Dog Inc. for boarding over several years. I trust Shelly and her staff. I know Mae especially likes Michael. My dog always comes back happy. Thank you so much Shelly. I so appreciate all you do to provide great care for our dogs.
I moved here from out of state so my normal boarding places for my dogs weren’t an option when we needed to board our two dogs for 2 weeks. The reviews were great here and the people seemed nice enough. I got my dogs back after the 2 weeks and one of them had a raging UTI which I found out after she had accidents in the house, and the other is now afraid of her crate (she used to love her crate and went in it on her own frequently) and refuses to go into it now. I have no idea what happened at this facility or how on earth this could have even happened, but I’ve never gotten my dogs back from boarding with issues like this before. I even paid extra for them to have more outside time. 2 stars because they kept my dogs alive and mostly healthy, so I’m thankful for that at least.
Great place! They are friendly and have great prices. We brought our cat to be boarded for a few hours while we had a home inspection. We will be back!
Took my dog there for a nail trimming and they weren't sure if she needed a muzzle or not so I went in with her. Everything was great. The people who worked there were really nice. Good experience
Took my dog to 2 other people to get his nails trimmed and they couldn't do it due to him not allowing it. Was recommended to go here and they were able to get it done. Took him straight in, clipped them, and we were on our way. Will definitely be coming back to them for all his and my other dogs nails!
Our dog Tuck loves to go there for daycare. Shelly the owner is so sweet and so is everyone else there. They’ve bent over backwards to accommodate us and even raised their fence for my escape artist. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. We love you all at the shaggy dog ❤️ Tuck especially loves Michael.
I’ve had Terri watch my dog, Finn 3 times now. He always comes home happy and exhausted from all the fun he has playing with her dogs in the backyard. She is very knowledgeable about all things dogs and I always have complete peace of mind when leaving my pup with her. She really knows her stuff and sends picture updates throughout the stay. I can’t recommend Salem Bed & Biscuit enough!
We are very happy with Salem Bed and Biscuit. We brought our 16 year old yorkie there for the day. When we picked our dog up we knew that he had been well cared for and that he enjoyed his stay. While there he was able to play with several other small dogs. When we got home he was happy and playful! We will definitely use Salem Bed and Biscuit again! Thank you.
We recently had unexpected news about our dogs health. We were referred to Terri and she immediately jumped in w a plan of action for a new diet to help us provide our dog the nutrients needed to help fight his cancer. She is knowledgeable and informative but most of all, you can see her heart and love for what she does. Terri continues to help us and provide guidance along our journey. I highly recommend Terri for nutrition advice for your pet. Need I say, we are in Hawaii and she is just a phone call or text away !!
Friendly and comfortable place to leave your small dog.
We Miss Missy!
Genuinely terrible experience. My mother went in with our dog (husky) on Saturday and had a great experience. He went through his boarding like a breeze and it took only 15 min for them to tell her yes! Looked like a great experience and she loved the place. Sounded like reservations were made and everything. Fast forward to today, I am the son and I was not there for the boarding. This blonde lady at the counter started asking me questions like as if we are going through another boarding. I did not know the answers because I wasn't the dogs primary care taker. She said there was no reservation, he has no records that he had been there and asked me if I knew if I was at the right place. She said "I don't feel comfortable taking him not knowing this information". All it took was a call to my mom... I felt completely judged based off of the experience and she asked me if I had anywhere else to take him... And no I did not. I have a cruise that I've spent thousands of dollars on and this is what's going to hold me up from going! Additionally, don't require someone to make your dog take a shot when you don't already have a booking available. We've spent too much money just for him to get boarded here with unnecessary shots that nobody else needed. Don't ever treat a customer like this again!
I left my dog for four days at the dog bark. I was very nervous about leaving her, not knowing how she would do. But with the cameras, I was able to check on her several times a day and saw she was doing fine. The staff are great with all the interaction and care they give to the dogs, they do an amazing job. I will definitely be using them again. Now I think my dog will be bored after seeing all they do lol. I will definitely take her once in a while for the interaction and socialization. I would highly recommend them. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby.
Our dogs love to visit The Dog Bark! Thanks for always taking such great care of our furry family members and making us feel welcome and at home whenever we drop by.
Last month we needed to visit our family in the Midwest for a couple of weeks. We chose The Dog Bark for our older dog Dulci to stay at because we wanted him to enjoy playing with other dogs so he didn’t worry about us not being around as much and so he had a good experience while we were away. Our dog has a lot of anxiety, and while he’s great with other dogs he can be moody with people. The staff at The Dog Bark did an amazing job working with him, accepting him and providing him with a great experience! I loved the doggy cams; when we were waiting for our flights we would log into what we called “Dulci TV”and it was great to be able to see our dog and see he was having a great time! I loved the friendliness of the staff and that they allowed me to bring him specialized meals and supplements. I was very happy when they emailed me when we were gone to let me know Dulci was doing well. The staff also worked hard to try to find a kennel for Dulci to stay in every night as I was worried about him not doing well in a crate as he is not crate trained. Overall, I highly recommend The Dog Bark to anyone, especially if your dog has anxiety, your dog will be in great hands!!
The Dog Bark was recommended to us by our local dog park community. We left our 8 month old husky girl for 8 days while we attended a wedding in O’ahu. This was the first time we have ever used a dog boarding service and the first time I have left my dog. I am a stay at home mom so I am with her 24/7. I loved that I could watch her from the cameras, I even called in to check up on her and the staff was very kind and let me know how she was doing. We go on several out of state trips and will be coming back to The Dog Bark. The only cons were that we missed out fur baby. ☺️
This facility is clean and has enthusiastic and helpful employees. You need to book far enough ahead of time to get a dog evaluation and a short daycare stay too see if your dogs are friendly.
My pup LOVES it here and so do we. We were having issues at home because we can't entertain our hyper girl 24 hours a day and she has so much energy that needs to get out. So Dog Bark is the perfect solution with very reasonable prices. Our girl gets so much play time with her friends she is exhausted and happy when she gets home. She is much more behaved even on days she doesn't go. I also love their cameras. We can check in on her and see her at anytime. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Edit: We have been part of the Dog Bark family for over a year now. Shannon and her team and just simply amazing. My girl is well taken care of and there is NEVER a worry in my mind when she is there.
I started bringing my dog here around may of ‘23. I really wanted to like this place as I need someone I can trust to take my pet. I brought my pet there many times but would look at the camera and there would be SO many dogs that they could hardly move around. My first thought was “oh those poor workers” and my 2nd was “what if a dog fight broke out”. This place doesn’t seem to cap the number of dogs they accept. My dog came home stressed and vocalizing when I saw her. Each time we went back she cried. We stopped going about a year ago and have found a daycare that has smaller sizes and more interactive play. They also don’t “punish” my dog with water if she jumps. There are many other places in Salem.
It has been a year now since my dogs have come here. Owner and staffs have provided fantastic care for my dogs whether it’s for daycare or boarding. We even boarded our dogs for 2 weeks straight once with no worries and came home to tired but satisfyingly happy dogs. Everytime I drop my husky off for daycare in the mornings he cannot wait to get inside and play. Everyone here is easy to work with, customer and dog friendly. I would recommend this facility for anyone who loves their pets and need someone to care for them when they are at work or away.
Love to take my dogs here. Staff is so nice and knows them as soon as we walk in. My pup with separation anxiety makes a big fuss whenever I drop him off but when I watch the stream I can see he's having fun. Much better than leaving him alone at home wondering if he's okay
We have a corgi, and ordinarily have always had trouble taking her to get either her nails clipped or other hygiene needs assisted with at other places. The staff here have always been extremely respectful and caring with her and we’ve seen first-hand how calm they’ve been able to be while doing something that she’s generally very uncomfortable with having done. This place is very clean and works hard to ensure all pets have all their necessary vaccinations so that all pets that come in are healthy. Thank you guys for what you do! We really appreciate it!
They took excellent care of our cats for an extremely reasonable price! When we picked them up, they were looking very healthy. The kitty boxes have plenty of space to move around in. The people answering the phone were very nice when I called asking to check on how the cats were doing, and both times, the person I spoke to knew which cats I was talking about immediately and was happy to give updates, which I really really appreciated. The facility is clean and warm, and the people were very competent and professional. We'll definitely be back if we need a kitty hotel again!!
We LOVE Pet Village! I used to worry about boarding my dogs, but now they almost jump out of my car straining to get inside the building! The staff are always so nice, and I always get my pups bathed before pickup. I pick them up smelling fresh and tired from all the playing they get done. I won’t ever board anywhere else!
Amazing place. In the 3 years I've been using them to board my dog they have been wonderful without exception. I don't know how they can treat everyone this nice, but they stayed open 10 minutes late once when I was running late, they've called to check in when my dog wasn't eating much (which is normal for her but I appreciate them checking!) and most importantly my dog loves going there so much it almost makes me jealous! I can't say enough good stuff about Pet Village, so I'll also say if they ever expand to make a "Person Village" I've got first spot on the waitlist.
Took my adult dog to Pet Village for their 8-week Novice training course. Overall super experience! Obedience courses are group classes held in a huge, indoor, fully enclosed arena with a concrete floor. Jen, the lead trainer, manages to choreograph the training of multiple dogs (and their owners) with aplomb and patience. We all ended up performing better than we expected, with both dogs and owners happy. Highly recommend!
Best dog training, highly recommend! Jennifer has been teaching for over 30 years and is soooo good. The cost is reasonable for what you get.
Jennifer is amazing! Koda and I have learned so much. Obedience and agility. He gets so excited when I say it's time to go to school. Looking forward to taking more classes. Leisa and Koda
They have the best trainer/dog whisperer I've ever met. The training it's great and VERY reasonable. They will help correct unwanted behaviors and make you and your dog feel safe and comfortable. I've not used their boarding.
Great place to get dog training. I took both my dogs to training here and it was top notch. I would recommend Pet Village to all dog owners without hesitation. The trainer Jennifer goes over and above to make sure you get the results you want. My older dog that is over 10 years old, wasn't treat motivated and she had other training methods that worked just as well. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly satisfied.
1# in dog boarding and day care. The staff at pet village are by far the Best in the business! They are always working hard and are super kind with answering any questions as well as caring for my dog. He's been going here for about a year now and it's been a life saver. My dog has severe separation anxiety and can't be left alone at home anymore. When I'm at work, he's here being looked after and gets to play. Overall its the best in customer service and pet care! So happy I found Pet Village ☺ 💓 Thank you guys!!
Our dogs don't stay anywhere else! We know they are well loved and cared for here :) Debbie sends us updates and pictures too, so that is really nice.
Had to make an emergency trip and our other sitters were unavailable. Found Debbie's service through Google and had no idea she was available just down the street. She was able to accommodate our last minute need for a sitter and am very glad we found her. She had her for a little over a week and took great care of our Lhasa Apso who also required daily eye drops. She would send us pictures and updates which relieved our stress about leaving her. Could not have asked for better results. Will be sure to continue using her in the future. Much appreciated Debbie!!! Highly recommended!!!
Debbie took such great care of our dog while we were away. She had excellent communication with us and we felt assured that our dog would be in great hands. It was very comforting to know he was getting individual attention from someone who clearly cared about the animals. So happy we met her!
I needed someone to watch my dog for a couple days and I found this lady through a directory. We met at her house and I found her to be so nice. A really suitable, professional and comfortable environment. It turned out in the end that my mom was able to watch my dog but I will for sure use her in the future if I ever need someone to watch my dog.
super nice
Thank you for your rating.
Thank you for your rating!
I had to leave my 17 1/2 year old dog with Canine Cognitive Disorder (Doggie Alzheimer's) and difficulty walking due to loss of muscle tone along with some other issues for 5 days. After the 1st day, they told me they moved her closer to where she could see them and away from the noise at the groomers. They sent me pictures and were receptive to my phone calls or texting. Zoe was greatly taken care of that I am not sure she wanted to leave. We are going back for a grooming appointment even though I live out in Salem. My Chiropractor recommended them to me and I am so glad he did.
Great Staff and Kennel service. I’m so grateful to have found them online. Our family has been struggling and their staff have been incredibly kind and understanding of our situation. They have made an uncomfortable process so easy. I’m over protective of my fur baby and they have really put my mind at ease. Thank you, especially to Courtney and Mitch for your outstanding service and helping our family in our times of need.
I have been trusting my fur babies with Courtney at Oak Grove for over a decade. They are the best when it comes to rescues and understand animals with different issues. We never had a problem and they communicate brilliantly!
Great kennel, very nice and understanding staff. My goto kennel for my boys. Be sure to check your inventory on pickup. I always seem to forget something.
We have tried 3-4 different grooming locations and no one connected with my pup like Courtney. I highly recommend Oak Grove Kennel in Monmouth. Courtney is very knowledgeable about how to handle anxious pups. I certainly will be going back.
Great place to take your fur babies!! Lox got a bath/blow out, nails cut, paws trimmed, and his coat feels soft. He is still a hyper puppy and they were so patient with him. Would recommend. We will be back!
So brought in my reactive very anxious older puppy in for a nail trimming. I had tried taking him to a different local groomer in the past and it was nothing like we experienced here. He’s a difficult trim for sure and we’ve had a bad experience at the other groomers. But the two people we saw at this place were really amazing. The guy who worked there took the time to try and let my dog warm up to him and feel more secure. The women in the back who trimmed his nails was so patient with him and when he was struggling they let me come back with them to comfort him through the process. He straight up had bitten them both but they didn’t bat an eye and were incredibly kind and understanding. He got his nails done and didn’t seem totally traumatized by it like he did with the other place. I’d recommend them to anyone with a dog who struggles with grooming and needs a kind and understanding environment. They definitely got a long term customer with us. They’re also very reasonably priced. My poor anxious boy got better care here for a $15 nail trim then we revived paying $55 elsewhere for just his nails.
My dog loves it here. When I pull into the driveway she can't wait to get out of the car. I know that she will be well taken care of and all of my requests honored.
We were nervous leaving our boys for a 9 day trip. They called us to let us know how they were doing! Can not wait to pick the boys up...hope they enjoy their vacation as much as we will! Update: Just wanted to drop back in and say that our boys are just as happy coming here for "dog-cations" as they were two years ago. The attentive staff always have observations to share with us when we pick up and even my nervous boy happily walks in each time.
Oak Grove Kennel has been so wonderful to our three dogs! We had to take an unexpected 3 week trip and they treated our dogs like family. They made sure they had extra attention and love. We have used them many times and will continue doing so for both grooming and boarding!
I have had two dogs that I board (boarded) at All Breeds Dog Boarding. Darcy gave my old boy, Jake, excellent care for the last 2-3 years of his life. She spend extra time with him; giving him his meds and giving him hugs. I recently rescued a 3 year old lab, Hazel. Hazel has been to All Breeds Dog Boarding four times. When I pull into the driveway, Hazel gets so excited! She loves going to All Breeds. Darcy and her team are always welcoming, truly love dogs and do their very best to take care of my dogs. I am grateful for the care and love they have given to both Jake and Hazel!
My dog really enjoys his stay at this kennel. The staff is kind, loving and superb with my precious Tucker! I travel a great deal and I have absolutely no qualms about leaving my dog for weeks at a time!
10/10 would recommend to a friend. Our 3 year old German Shepherd stayed here for just over 7 days while we were on vacation. The staff was friendly and professional when dropping her off and picking her up. The price was very reasonable. When we picked up our dog, she was freshly groomed and looked very happy and healthy. The facility was equipped to manage small and large dogs without issue. We will be useing this service again in the future. Thanks for taking such good care of Tep!
LOVE bringing my dogs here! Staff are amazing and so accommodating! My pups are always so excited to come and play!
This is the best boarders in the area. We have taken our 3 small dogs there for 9 years! They have rooms for small, med, and large dogs. They are on a large wooded acreage for the dogs to run and play under supervision. One of our dogs eats special food and has medication twice daily. They have never made a mistake or forgotten the medication. They are gentle and loving to all our dogs and act excited when we bring them for a day or 3 weeks.
I don't worry about my dogs when I leave them at All Breed Dog Boarding. Matt and his staff have many years of experience in taking care of dogs. It's fun for my dogs to stay there because they get to play with lots of other dogs, lay on couches and watch tv. You can tell the staff loves dogs and enjoys playing with them when they go outside for exercise. Great place! Customer for life!!!
We boarded our two Great Danes for a week here. The owner, Matt, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It was our puppy's first boarding experience, and both dogs came back happy. The major critique I have is that when you call, the number only connects to the owners cell phone. And he's not in the boarding facility as much as his other staff is. If there's a major problem with your dog, the owner will know and tell you, but if you're looking for more detail, it's hard to get that information.
First we toured the property and facilities and concluded that this was one of the cleanest facilities we had seen. We also liked the fact that they kept the large dogs in a separate location from the small dogs. We also liked the schedules that they had for the small dogs. Your dog has almost constant attention for 12 hours a day. We had been a little nervous about leaving our little Yorkie as he had no experience with other dogs even though he was 5 years old. We need not have been. When we returned 4 days later he was enjoying his socialization with his 20 other buddies. The only problem I could see is that now we have to take him back there for his vacation.
If I could give zero stars, I would. These people were told that our dog was a runner. They still thought it was a good idea to put our dogs in a room with an open window which our dog quickly jumped out of and ran away. We were out of state and got the call that our dog was loose on the property and they could not get her to come to them. Matt the owner originally said he would take care of everything after we had to track our son down and find him a ride out to their facility to help wrangle our dog. This was a very stressful situation especially since we were out of state. Needless to say, Matt gave a very small discount on a $200 boarding charge for this inconvenience that ruined our entire 4 day trip. If you love your pets and want them in a boarding facility that you can trust, I would continue looking. This place is the cheapest in the area and there is a reason. They are under staffed and do not listen when you explain your animals personality. We boarded 2 dogs and would've been happy paying for one dogs stay. Why should we pay for a stay that was so stressful because if they're lack of follow through and professionalism. They chose to charge us for a horrible stay and have lost our business for around $40. I will never recommend this boarding facility and will tell everyone in the area know to avoid it. Very unprofessional and bad business. Go anywhere else but here.
The staff is always full of smiles when we take in our dog. Our dog can be a little wild and the staff are always happy to see her and take great care of her. They bathe her and cut her nails, which we have found difficult to do at other places. I use the facility multiple times throughout the year and have always had a great experience
