We had an amazing experience with Pets Frolic Inn. They took such good care of our dogs while we were away. The prices are very fair and their service is amazing. We had our boys washed and groomed after their stay at Pets Frolic Inn and they looked and smelled better than they do when we take them to the groomers! The team there were friendly, easy to work with, and great at keeping in touch with us over the course of our trip. Our boys left there happy, well groomed, and even more mindful of their obedience cues! Five stars, definitely recommend them and will be coming back again for future travels!

***update on 8/26/24… the boys came back and boarded with frolic inn while we went to South Carolina. My opinion hasn’t changed. Kind staff and the boys came home wagging their tails. You can tell they had tons of fun. Highly recommend this business for your pups**** Wow! Great first impression. I dropped my dogs, brisket and chowder off at the frolic inn today for a trial run. They have to do a ‘test’ day to make sure they get along with other dogs & can be boarded for the weekend in the future. First impression is everything and from my initial phone call with the front desk staff member to being greeted… you can tell this place really cares about customer service. You can also tell they truly love animals. My dogs go wild for new places with excitement and the front desk staff member handled it so well. It’s obvious they’re used to high energy pups ;) When we picked our pups up at 1… you can tell they had a great time. The staff said they did really well with the other dogs. I’ll do an updated review once they stay the weekend for boarding. But so far, I’m very impressed :)

Good experience with staff at pets frolic inn. We have an elderly dog that requires special attention and when she behaved unusually Julia was really quick getting ahold of us and letting us know the situation in detail, and put us in touch with a vet. Highly recommend that team.

I found Pets Frolic Inn for my brother's cat when I was helping him and my mom move. They needed to be out of their place for nearly two weeks and it was really important to us that we found a safe and loving place for his cat, Honey. Pets Frolic Inn was the perfect place. The staff was so loving towards Honey and she had a nice, clean space and was happy and well-cared for in the two weeks she was there. And the staff was incredibly flexible as we had to add extra time at the Inn when the house was being shown to buyers. The staff was very friendly and patient. I looked at many other places and this was the only place I felt my brother would feel comfortable leaving his beloved cat.

Staff is very friendly, our 12 year old Shepherd stayed with them over a long weekend and by her actions and behavior we can tell she was well cared for. They have large out door runs, and for a dog use to running the hills and open property of Montana this was a great benefit.

Fantastic local boarder, not a chain. Definitely get the feeling they like the dogs and my dogs always come home happy. They even can wash the dogs. I’ve used them a few times and 5 stars

We love Pet Frolic Inn!!! Our 85 pound 8 month old puppy goes there for when we need a safe, loving, and entertaining place for her either over nights or when we take a long day trip. She is never nervous about going and enjoys play dates with a thoughtfully selected single companion pup. Cannot ask for more!

We dropped our dog off here for a 7 day stay and it was super easy. They have a bunch of outdoor space for the dogs to play/run. They also double checked we were all the way up to date on the dog's shots and stuff. Price was super good imo. Would use again for sure.

Heather and Levi are the best in the business I highly recommend them they are very caring and passionate about their career. They are very professional and there do you when you need them in caring for your pets. We have been taking our rotty pup here since she was 3 months socializing her and used to other dogs and environment. I can’t say enough about their curriculum and stance of outlook of a dog’s treatment and life. Pet frolic in is the best in CCC hands down price should not be a concern if you love your pets. We recently boarded our German Shepherds here. They were happy and healthy when we picked them up. The staff at Happy Paws even sent us photos during their stay! Thank you Happy Paws for taking such great care of our doggos♥️

One of the only places we trust to leave our slightly reactive dog. It is a bit out of the way for us, but the peace of mind that she will come back exactly as we left her is worth it. She is well taken care of. The photos are a nice bonus

Happy Paws and all its people took amazing care of my older black lab/ husky mix. He had a great time with them. Ive already booked a longer stay in October 2024.

I waited a while and now our dogs have had multiple stays here. Basically, it's wonderful! I've been on three surprise tours and they've all been great! My timid dog has gotten more and more comfortable and happy to get there. We did a few warm up days with him and then overnights before a long trip. My outgoing dog has always just loved it! I love the people there, they always do their very best to help me, 100% of the time. Also, several times I've been there people have insisted on leaving additional tips because they are so grateful to have their dog well taken care of... which I completely understand. Thank you!!!

I recommend Happy Paws Kennels for your fur baby or babies :) The process to check in for boarding was really easy and quick. Plus, they have a new office located beyond the gates, which is always nice because you'll have a chance to see the other happy dogs that are boarded there. They were also very communicative and made it easy for bookings. They also gave me complimentary baths at the end of their stay, which was very nice! One feedback that I would add is that I wish they would send pictures of the dogs as a compliment to the stay. A suggestion for Happy Paws is to provide the options for clients to choose the option of receiving pictures and updates during the stay. I think that will really enhance and add value to the experience. Overall, the experience was great, and my dogs seemed happy.

Boarded my dog here for 2 nights, and it was a very good experience! Friendly, experienced staff. This is a very clean facility and the dogs get plenty of excercise(weather permitting)!

Where to begin…I dropped my dogs off yesterday and my truck decided to just die right then and there. The team was SO fantastic and helpful trying to get it up and going. Above and beyond thoughtfulness. I can’t thank them all enough for the help and genuine concern. Getting to what their business actually offers — Our dogs LOVE it here - we are new to the area so have only done day visits so far, but I am sleeping well at night knowing they are here while I’m away for the first time. We absolutely love these guys. They took such great care of our puppy baby. She slept for 2 days when we got home from all the fun and exercise she had. We plan on going back regularly. They have great rates and a military discount. Thanks for really taking care of my baby.

The dogs are always well cared for and the dogs play a lot all day long with each other. My dog loves going there because he gets to play with all the other dogs. When I leave my dog there and go out of town, I feel totally confident that he will be taking care of and fed and loved on!

We LOVE Pampered Pets! They take such good care of our little Mochi! She has a blast there. They always post pictures to update us while we are away. All of the care staff are very loving with the pups!

We have been taking our little “Apple” to Pampered Pets for her vacation while we are on ours since she was very young.She loves it. The minute she gets there she runs away her little tail going fifty miles an hour and never looking back. She loves playing with the other doggies and sitting on the owners lap. The facility is spotless. We recommend Pampered Pets without reservation.

Cannot express how wonderful this business and its owners are. We've used them a few times for drop in care of our cats while out of town, and have always been impressed by their professionalism, attention to detail, flexibility in requests, and most of all their sincere care of our pets. But this past week, we were absolutely blown away with how over the top Jen went in helping care for one of cats who was diagnosed with renal failure, while we ourselves were going through our own personal medical issues out of town. She quite literally saved our kitty's life by finding a vet ER with space, transporting him to and from the hospital, keeping us in the loop every step of the way. And all with the utmost compassion. She even texted the morning after we were all home to check in. We cannot speak highly enough of this company. Especially Jen. Thank you for lightening our load in the midst of a tough week. Recommend with 10 stars!!!

We are so lucky to have Barking Meow here in town. We have two kitties that needed care for five days. One of them takes a daily pill and for that reason we have not gone on vacation as a family for over three years. We found Barking Meow and for the past five days they took care of our cats with love, kindness, and care. We were able to go on vacation worry free and returned to happy kitties. We absolutely love Barking Meow Pet Solutions. We have a 7 year old chocolate lab that I hate leaving behind but when we must we feel so comfortable leaving him at Barking Meow. We receive daily morning and evening text with pics of Roux on his walks, playing or lounging with his home away from home family. I love that fact that Roux is not stuck in a kennel but with the family in their home where he is spoiled with interaction and love.

Barking Meow Pet Solutions does a fantastic job at caring for your pets. I have never used any pet sitting companies in the past and found them listed in Vacaville's Best, Jen and Brian are wonderful. They set up a meet and greet with you and your pets to go over their routine and any specific needs they may have, very thorough with taking notes and asking questions. What I enjoyed most about their service was the pet check in notifications in which you are able to see time stamped pictures of your pets, GPS location of the visit and can keep track of their water and food being refilled and refreshed as well as the litter being clean. If you are looking for a pet sitting company that will give you 100% peace of mind while you are out traveling, I highly recommend Barking Meow Pet solutions. I will certainly be requesting their services in the future.

Jen and team were amazing and so professional. I cannot recommend them enough! We had just moved to the area when we had to leave our 2 cats. It was so nice being able to leave them in our new home rather than worry about boarding them to minimize the stress/disruption. When we came home, they were both waiting in the kitchen for Jen--and were so disappointed it was US who walked through the door ha! We got pictures and updates every day and they were so kind in bringing in mail/boxes and taking out our trash. Will absolutely use again in the future and would recommend to anyone!

They are very accommodating and care for my fur baby like I would, which is important to me. Being an owner of a senior bulldog comes with many challenges. We have used Jennifer with Barking Meow Pet Solutions for five or more years. The first time we left Maddie, we were concerned about how she would be with a sitter. It's a great feeling to know when you are away that your pet is being cared for like you would. Whenever we are away Jennifer sends us pictures and messages about how Maddie is doing. Jennifer is dependable, credentialed and knowledgeable about caring for pets. We would never leave our Maddie with anyone else. When it's time for drop- off she goes right inside without hesitation like its her second home. They are the best and we highly recommend Jennifer, Bryan and crew!!

I can’t say enough good things about Barking Meow Pet Solutions. We are fairly new to the area and we interviewed a lot of pet sitters. Jen and Brian got to know our two corgis and the dogs just loved them. We left them with Jen and Brian while we went on vacation for 10 days. Our fur babies were walked, fed, and played with and loved. We received pics and updates everyday. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my fur babies. We just recently had to board our 3 dogs who have not been out of our care for YEARS. I was nervous how they would respond to us being gone until I had our meet and greet with these wonderful people. They are so caring and welcoming! They have a fantastic set up at their home which makes it that much more easily adjustable for the pups. We got text/picture updates everyday and they are very responsive to any questions I had. We will definitely be using their services again and would 100% recommend them to every pet owner!

Absolutely the best pet sitters! We are so thankful to have found Jen & her team! The service is above & beyond our already high expectations. Their updates & pictures of each of visit warmed our hearts to see the joy they brought into our home. Karla’s Pet Care does such a fantastic job! Our pets were frankly a nightmare while we were gone, the cat refused the litter box, the dog kept getting in the pantry and gave herself diarrhea. On top of that we had to keep changing our schedule and they rolled with all of it. They did a great job of keeping us informed while not stressing me out about my pets while I was on vacation. 10/10 highly recommend!

I loved this!! I'm always nervous about people being in my house when I'm not there but after the pre-visit my nerves were put to ease. Karla and Kayla are so nice and professional. Kayla is the one that took care of my fur babies when I was gone. She kept me updated with detailed daily check ins and pictures of them. I loved it and it made me feel so good that they were in great care. On top of all that she brought in my mail and took my garbage cans to the curb! It made a HUGE difference coming home late from a long trip and and not having to clean up cat litter, clean cat barf, or take the cans out etc. Thank you ladies for everything!!!

March 2021 update- Karla and her team continue to provide wonderful care. We started their new poop pickup service and it has been so helpful and convenient. Joe goes above and beyond and has communicated with us actively to address any concerns. I highly recommend! Karla and her team have been caring for our pets whenever we go out of town for over a year. They are easy to work with, friendly, and affordable. My favorite part is receiving an update and pictures of our pups each day during their care, so fun and comforting!

Oh.my. goodness.. These ladies are a true gift. 😭 A review cannot express how exceptional their care for our family fur babies was. They respond almost immediately, put in the effort to get to know your pets and your family routine. They just CARE. My male dog is sometimes misunderstood and has trouble forming relationships with others outside of immediate family. Our little family isn't even home from vacation yet. Joy gave attentive, kind, and reliable care for our baby while we were gone. Scheduling and communication was quick and easy!

I brought my pandemic puppy here for her first time away from me or family. She was there for 10 days and did great. I brought her a few times for day care before so she could get acclimated and I think that helped. The entire dog gone sister’s team was really nice and communicated with me and helped ease my stress of leaving Toffee was so long. I received photos every night and toffee even made it to their ig page. I have already recommended to friends and definitely will bring toffee back for my next vacation but even plan to bring her for daycare every now and then.

My girl dog is scared of people not in her circle and has bad anxiety. It only took Joy 2 visits for them to be BFFs which is shocking to me! This means my girl trusts her, which means I trust her! My old dog takes meds and is blind. Joy really takes care of him. I have no complaints and Joy is the best! PLEASE TRY HER BUSINESS.

Me and my wife both work away from home a few days a week and we needed a daycare for our dog, Apollo. We learned about the sisters through a friend that uses their services and we couldn't be happier! They had us bring him in for a meet and greet, then allowed us to leave him there for a couple hours to see how he got along with the other dogs. They now pick him up early in the morning without us being home and provide email updates with photos once he's in the car for peace of mind. I pick him up on my way home and he's exhausted from playing all day. The arrangement couldn't be better. The sisters and staff are all animal lovers and super friendly. I'll recommend them to anyone that asks!

TDGS are so sweet and really treat your fur baby as their own. They are very patient, my dog is a nervous nancy, but they knew how to handle him and make him feel secure. I don't even need to leash Doc when I pull up, he runs straight the gate and he is always dog tired when he gets home. I can tell after taking him to daycare he is more confident with other dogs and knows how to communicate better. I'm very picky about my pup, I highly recommend them.

Those Dog Gone Sisters are an excellent family run business and have done cat sitting for me twice now. I am really happy with the exceptional services they provide. They not only visit and refresh the food and water but also clean the litter boxes and collect the mail. They send daily email updates with pictures of your pets which is such a nice added touch to put your mind at ease knowing your pets are happy and safe. What also impressed me was that they do a meet and greet with you and your pets before taking care of your pets for the first time so that you/they know if it’s good fit. I won’t have anyone else other than Those Dog Gone Sisters take care of my pets when I am out of town.

I am truly Grateful for these two amazing women! When I first met them they where so welcoming and kind my dog immediately felt comfortable and safe when we arrived. I love that they keep you updated and send pictures when your dog stay over night. I felt comfortable leaving our dogs with them❤️ I definitely recommend those dog done sisters for your pet.

Great staff!! You know your pet loves the place when he runs off without telling you good bye (not sure if I should be happy or sad). The only downfall is there's no way to look in on my little guy. My two dogs love spending the day or week at Delta Dog Camp. They can come home looking good as Erica is an outstanding groomer. Everyone is kind and loving to our fur babies.

My dog Stella gets super excited when we pull up twice a week for doggy day camp. I can tell she enjoys being there and the staff always greets her with a smile. When I come to pick her up I hear stories about her day. This is an affordable safe place for you to take your dog while you go to work.

Mix up in appt time for evaluation by the business resulted in us not being able to use them for vacation. Unprofessionally handled. No response from owner as requested. But the silver lining is that we found an awesome pet sitter on Rover (for about the same price) who we now use for all pet sitting needs!

We have used them for 6 years ish, very polite. They definitely care for your dog. I completely trust them with my dog.

We regularly board our 2 Greyhounds at Delta. Only place they have been excited to be taken they happily march in with Kerry or other staff members. A special treat is a separate play area and time for Greyhounds with muzzles due to their thin skin. We drive an hour plus to know our hounds will be well cared for!

Elizabeth has been our dog walker/pet sitter since 2023. Our dog, Charlie, needs 3 walks a day and Elizabeth takes good care of him. He gets exercise and enjoys time in her company. She is also great when our fire alarms went off in our house during our last trip. She disarmed them and sent pictures. We were happy she was able to take care of the problem. She is a great communicator and I highly recommend her to those who want to leave their animal with a responsible and caring pet sitter!

Elizabeth is a fantastic dog sitter. She is very responsible and reliable. My dogs always seem happy when they are in her care. Much better than leaving them at an impersonal kennel. Zoe and Nacho love spending time with Elizabeth. I would highly recommend her.

Elizabeth has been watching our first rescue dog Nico since we got him in 2021, and now our latest addition, Vinny. As with a lot of rescues, ours had some social/ behavioral issues in the beginning, but Elizabeth is an expert. She knows how to work with and around those issues and also make recommendations. The controlled socialization our dogs get when staying overnight with Elizabeth have been immensely helpful to their training. They come home pooped and happy from all the playing! She also offers reasonable pricing and flexible scheduling. If you’re in the Davis area, highly recommend giving Elizabeth a call.

Elizabeth is awesome, she takes wonderful care of our Jack Russell mix and border collie mix. They always come home happy and smiling and well cared for. She sends lots of pictures to keep us updated and we are really grateful for her skill with the dogs. Our border collie is on medication which Elizabeth skillfully administers and doesn’t always get along with other dogs in our experience, but Elizabeth is so good with her. She always comes home better trained and socialized then we left her :-)

We’ve relied on Elizabeth for years to take care of our pets and house while away. Guinea pigs, fish, dog - she does it all and keeps an eye on the house. We’ve used her for weekends to over a month. Always reliable and responsive. Pets are well cared for and happy. Good value, good and reasonable service. Highly recommended and much preferred to a kennel.

I've trusted Elizabeth to look after my Labradoodle Molly for nearly six years now, both for dog park visits and extended stays at her home. Elizabeth loves our dogs and cats like they're her own and they are always excited to see her! She sends pictures from the dog park and when she sits the cats she often spends time hanging out with them beyond a standard visit. She was very patient with out dog who is not great with new people and going to dog group with Elizabeth has been great for her self confidence.

We have boarded our cat here a few times in the last year & it has been a good experience. The staff is friendly and quick to respond to emails & phone calls. Being able to call & get updates on how he is doing puts me at ease. Plus they are open on Sundays, which is convenient for pick up and drop off.

Took care of my little ones while husband n I drove to Dallas n back. Incredibly kind. I was a crying mess when I dropped my girls off but was given some ease by the kindness of the staff. They replied to my emails w comforting replies every day. Upon our return home, we were excited to see if our pups did as well....n they smothered my husband n I with tons of happy kisses! Lisa is Moki's new groomer and she met him when he was 4 months overdue for a groom. That made his coat full, thick and matted and she did such a wonderful job. Moki is a sweetheart and his only downfall is he "kisses" when he doesn't like something (getting his nails clipped.) It took her a afternoon to get him out from that hair, she was patient and kind with him. His last grooming appt at Banfield, he came home with a very uneven groom, his coat had patches that were noticeably rough clipped, he had skin areas that had dried blood and he was extremely anxious and shaking uncontrollably when we picked him up. It took me months to find a groomer, Brentwood Pet Resort has policies that took us a bit to fulfill with safety protocols for Moki. They were patient with guidelines and suggestions to make his 1st appt easy for him and Lisa and Katelyn kept lines of communication open right to the day of. Moki was hesitant the 1st 5 min. when he met Lisa but he finally went with her, he was "silly" when we got him and he was so happy and handsome. He slept till past his dinner, and he only does that after a bath at home. We could tell he was relaxed, thank you so much Lisa. 😊

Boarding our dogs was a very bad experience. I would not recommend at all. We were told that we could call to check on our 2 dogs as much as we wanted. We were told we had until 7:00 to call, so we tried at 5:00pm and the phone rang, and rang and rang. Someone finally picked up and hung up without saying hello. Had to call our vet next door and ask them to please go check on our dogs for us. We also had a huge problem with using our credit card there. I definitely would recommend not doing it. Can't say much because it is an ongoing investigation. Our dogs both smelled like pee when we picked them up. We were only gone for 1 night. We came home a day early because of the way this facility was operating. Help others with

🤬BEWARE🤬 *please read to bottom!*. Easily the most disgusting people in the world, we had our male dog there for a week he lost a ton of weight, but we still trusted them.. So I brought my female dog there and the guy (part owner) snatched the leash out of my hand and brought her DIRECTLY to another dogs the cage, and shook the leash (on my female dog) it was a Yorkshire type dog, she barked and he IMMEDIATELY said your “dog is aggressive!!” Well thanks for proving you can provoke a dog to bark!!! PATHETIC!!! **Edit; to follow up on your response Lisa. NICE TRY FREAK! YOU WERE STANDING RIGHT THERE IN THE “TUFF SHED LOOKING OFFICE”… YOU ARE BOTH SCUM OF THE EARTH!!

A top-notch facility with staff who are amazing. They care for your fur-baby as if they were their own and though they’re in business to make money (obviously), you’re never made to feel that way. Their primary consideration always seems to be for the wellness of your pet. Very impressive and comforting to know your baby is in such good care.

Great service and excellent staff! I was in a bind and needed to kennel my dog on what seemed like the busiest weekend ever. BPR had availability! I spoke with Katelyn, she was very sweet and professional on the phone. I stopped by to look at their facility beforehand. I was so impressed with how clean and tidy everything is! I was initially a little concerned there are no runs for daytime, but my dog has stayed twice now and each time I’ve picked him up, he’s happy and sleeps well for like two/three days! I would recommend them to anyone looking to kennel their dog! I think their hours are great! I love they are open every other Sunday. It’s great to have the option for pick up if it works with your schedule. (For those complaining about hours - you read them on their website and the sign driving onto the property. Not that I want them to lose business, but if you don’t like it, maybe choose a different location vs making a stink about it??) As a new Brentwood resident, I’m so happy there is a place close by I can take my dog and know he will be well cared for! Thank you Brentwood Pet Resort!!

Fantastic place to take ur pet. Staff was very polite and put the wife at ease about leaving the dog there. My dog has yet to learn to speak English to give us her 1st dog account, but she seemed very happy. She was nice and clean and smelled great when we pucked her up also. Will definitely use this place again when needed.

Stacy is ABSOLUTELY the most caring, thoughtful and thorough pet sitter that we have had! We have had overnights with many steps that our pups need (dog mom imposed I guess!) and Stacy never said anything was too much. Rather, Stacy understands that dogs are our kids - and they deserve the best care and love. She has a ton of affection and patience even for our “problem child” and loves all animals no matter their personalities. In a world where it’s so difficult to find pet sitters that really go the extra mile and not have to worry about anything - Stacy is a god send! Stacy is the best! Professional, hardworking, reliable, and, just as importantly, so sweet and friendly. She truly loves your dog as her own! My boy Shadow is obsessed with her. They hit it off immediately, and it was such a relief to know he was in good care during an extended vacation of ours. I think he was so comfortable and having such a blast with Stacy, he was almost disappointed we came home 😆

Stacy is the best, and our senior dogs (17 and 15 year olds) absolutely love her! I don’t think I trust anyone with our fur babies as much as I trust her! She’s also very flexible and charges more reasonably compared to other services out there.

Can’t say enough about how great Stacy is with my two senior fur babies! She visits with them while I work, and also takes excellent care of them when I go out of town. Stacy sends plenty of updates and pictures, which is very important to me, since my pups both have health issues. She clearly loves pets and I feel like I couldn’t leave mine in better hands. I wholeheartedly recommend Stacy!

I could take about how amazing Stacy K is ALL day. My husband and I have 3 dogs, and have always struggled to find good a good sitter for them in the past. When we met Stacy almost 2 years ago, our dogs have never received better care, and we have never felt so stress free while leaving town because we know that our babies are in the best hands. Stacy makes sure they get their walks, rain or shine, and gives them so much of her time and love. She is punctual, reliable, understands animals and their behavior, a very good communicator, and has the biggest heart. We trust Stacy explicitly with our dogs, which is not something that we have ever been able to say about any pet sitter before her. She has made our live much better and our trips away more enjoyable ♥️

Stacy is the dogs sitter that we have always dreamed of having! She took such amazing care of our 3 medium/large dogs while my husband and I were out of town for 5 nights. I use Stacy when I am away on vacation. She takes such good care of my dog and gives her so much love and attention while I am gone.
