This was our first house/pet sit with @zeewoi and we were extremely pleased! Robert showed up when he said he would, he accommodated our timelines and our dog's scheduled routine. He left our home in excellent shape and we had a very happy, relaxed pup to come home to. It was important to us that Robert meet us via video chat or in person before we left and he went above and beyond. He sent photos of our dog, Cooper, and him throughout the sit and we could tell that Cooper was very happy with Robert. He responded immediately to our texts, giving him updates about our return. Communication is so important for making sure both the sitter and the house owners are confident in one another. Robert is very outgoing and friendly and we have 100% confidence in him to look after our home and our dog when we are away. We look forward to Robert providing another future home sit.

I was very happy with the love and affection that was very apparent when Travis and Shannon met the pups. I received one picture on my trip and was happy to see Shannon cuddled under a doggie pile. Nothing like seeing your dogs being loved by others as their own. Every thing was in its place when I return which was nice. I also received a welcome home gift handmade by them which was very lovely and made my day. I highly recommend them as trustworthy and reliable pet sitters to anyone.

Joe and Casey were very easy going and reliable. We organised the sit way in advance with a video chat and we had adequate communication leading up to the sit. We handed over the house and animals after a fairly swift explanation of everything. Being experienced sitters Joe and Casey didn't need us to over explain anything (hopefully they felt the same) and we could see very quickly that they were animal lovers. They asked us how much communication we needed whilst away and we said "no news is good news". So we received just the right amount of updates along with the most adorable photos and reassuring words about all the animals. It was clear that they quickly understood the character of each of the animals. We forgot to mention that Tipper likes to dig dirt beds around the garden which creates quite a mess and it was obvious that these were kept under control. The garden and pool were well cared for. We enjoyed a relaxing couple of weeks away knowing that the animals were being loved and the dogs definitely looked for Joe and Casey when we arrived home. Our pets, home and garden were well respected and cared for and we would not hesitate to invite Joe and Casey to sit for us again.

We could not have asked for a better house sitter than Myria! She is kind, personable, organized, responsible communicative and more...She read all of our instructions before arriving and asked lots of questions about our pups to make sure she understood their personalities and schedules. You can tell she truly is a dog lover. Myria provided regular updates and we felt 100% confident leaving our dogs in her care. We came back to a home that was spotless - you could hardly tell she had been here. I'd highly recommend Myria as your next zeewoi!

Ryan was one of our best sitters we’ve had! Ryan is so lovely to chat with and we looked forward to meeting him before our trip. He was organized and communicated his plans clearly with us and was easy to communicate with while we were away. Our dog took to him immediately and so we knew we could relax while away. We initially accepted Deirdre and Jason for a long stay to look after our dogs. We were very happy they accepted. A few weeks later we realized we needed another sitter for another trip we had planned. So, we posted more dates on zeewoi. To our happy surprise, Deirdre and Jason reached out to us saying they could also look after our dogs and home with the new dates we posted. This made our life much easier and we were very confident to have Deirdre and Jason stay longer with us and care for our dogs. We were definitely right!! D&J have countless experiences on zeewoi with very good reviews from all of their previous sits. They are very experienced with all aspects of a house/pet sitting. D&J are very self-sufficient, have the background knowledge and education of pet care, and most importantly a genuine love for all animals. This is most important for my wife and I. We knew from the first meeting with our pups they loved animals. Communication was excellent. The process before and during our sit was stress-free for us. We were given daily updates on our dogs including photos and videos. Any concerns D&J had were vocalized to us. D&J are also problem solvers and know how to react many challenging situations. Our routine for our pets was followed immaculately and all dogs were very happy and connected with them. Even our female dog Kinki grew close so quickly with D&J which is very rare. We had ZERO issues while we were gone and we were able to really enjoy our trip while we were away. The dogs definitely love being around D&J. Homecare: We are very pleased with the condition of our home when we returned. It was clean, free of clutter, and exactly how we had left it for them, if not even better! D&J even mowed our grass and took care of our yard! Our yard is not a small garden. It is very big and takes hours to mow. So we were very surprised and excited to know they did that for us even though it's not expected of our sitters!! They definitely went above and beyond what is expected. Our dogs are so very important to us. When we know we can trust our sitters it's the best feeling in the world. We definitely trust Deirdre and Jason with our most prized possessions and we look forward to the next sit with them in a few days!!! If you need a sitter don’t hesitate to pick Vanessa, I highly recommend her. She cared for our fur baby for two weeks and received the care and attention she needed. We came back to a very happy pup and clean home which is awesome after coming back from a long trip. I received texts and pictures of our dog while we were gone which gave us peace of mind. You could tell right from the start that she genuinely loves animals and will care for them as if they are hers. I will continue to use her as my pet sitter if she’s available. All I can say is she is a wonderful person!!

We were so happy with Lynda's care for our senior pup. Lynda was extremely accommodating with the key hand over situation we had considering our early flights out of Berlin. She was easy to coordinate with and made this part of the holiday very smooth. We could also tell Sesame was in the best care. We received updates and photos of Sesame on walks and getting cuddles. We know Sesame can be sassy sometimes but Lynda was great with her little attitudes and handled her with ease. It was also really heart warming to see that Lynda truly enjoyed her time with Sesame and created a strong bond with her. We love to know that our dog is loved and treated with the care we would give her if we were home. Both my partner and I were able to fully enjoy our holiday as we knew from updates that Sesame and Lynda were doing well. Our apartment was clean and tidy when we returned and the sheets had also been washed. We would definitely have Lynda back and would recommend her to anyone else looking for an experienced sitter to stay with your pet.

Drove to Sorrento from Alberta & left our dog at Parklane for a few days. She has never stayed with anyone other than family & I am so pleased with the service we received! She got lots of exercise and loving. I could tell that they do truly care for your dog while they are there. They took the time to let her warm up, as she is very shy! Definitely will be back if we’re in the area! Highly recommend!
Wayne was very friendly and accommodating. The Kennels are great and have indoor/outdoor access. Our dogs stayed with him for almost a week, and seemed happy and well taken care of when we picked them up. Would definitely use Parklane Kennels again!

Thank you to Wayne at Parklane for caring for Myrah. Myrah doesn't get along with other dogs. Our once in a blue moon family vacation out to Scotch Creek, meant we wanted a kennel in close proximity, just in case of any "problems". She's never been in a kennel while we've had her, so we weren't expecting her to do well. Wayne made it possible for us to pull off this week long vacay. We very much recommend Wayne and Parklane kennels. If your headed to the Shuswaps and in need of a caring and reliable kennel, look them up.
Came from Alberta and needed a place for our dogs to stay for for the day while we rented a boat. Parklane is well organized and the owner is so dedicated. Definitely will use her services again.
This place was great! So friendly and kind and helped us in a jam. Took our dog in for us for daycare and was very affordable. Sheila is very friendly and treated our dog as her own. Nice setup for the animals with air conditioning on those hot days. Would highly recommend!
Nice and clean, individual, indoor, air conditioned kennels. We board our 2 dogs together in one "apartment". Each has its own individual doggie door to an outdoor, enclosed outdoor space, that leads to a larger outdoor dog run area. Very reasonably priced. Love the service and friendliness of the owners who live onsite.

Impeccable service! Davis went above and beyond taking care of my dog Levi and attending his needs. My dog suffers separation anxiety and won't eat when he feels stressed out. Davis comforted Levi by sitting with him so he would eat and feel comfortable each meal. Davis showed personable consideration to reassure my dog would have an enjoyable time by offering photos and videos any time of his stay. Levi had his own kennel each night and had plenty of options to play or lounge around. I will definitely be using Davis's boarding or daycare services when I need again.
My dog is so obsessed with Melissa and Poochies. It is such a relief knowing he is so well taken care of and so happy to be there. Daycare or Boarding, 11/10 recommend.
First time using the dog kennel. The staff and owner were very personable and we felt comfortable right away. Highly recommended. Very clean and well run facility.
Our dog loves Poochies. He greets Melissa with a huge full body wag, and we trust her to watch out for him (he has a little medical issue that sometimes acts up). He always comes home tired and happy. So happy to have this available for our pup!
I went to Poochies today to see what it was all about. There were many dogs but all on cement floor, no bedding, no toys or windows. I guess they don't let them outside when it's raining because then the owners want them bathed? Not sure if I received a great picture of what I was told and what I seen because there are great reviews. At this point I would never let my dog go there unless I was given wrong information by the staff.
Picked up my dog and her bed was filthy, thought it was just dirt until we got in the car & could smell it, so obviously my dog had either thrown up or something. My dog was filthy and constipated. Called the kennel on our way home to ask about the situation, left a voice mail and they never returned my call.
This place is one of the best pet boarding facilities around. I have 3 Golden retrievers and they love coming here. Usually my females have anxiety when they go to other places, but not here. Definately reccomend u bring your dogs here.
My dogs absolutely favorite place! Poochies is absolutely wonderful and there's no where else that I would take my dog for doggy daycare or boarding.

Only boarding facility I trust with my Belgium Malinois. They are very attentive, kind and professional. Great staff.
Used to love bringing our dogs here - they had so much fun running and playing with a big group of other social dogs under the trusted supervision of the staff. Megan was the best at looking after our pups and they loved going to visit her! Sadly she is no longer there and although we’ve tried visiting since then, we find that we don’t feel that same level of trust with the new owners. They don’t share the same philosophy as the previous owners, and so the dogs are no longer socialized in big groups, they don’t get much time to go out and exercise (not like before) and we don’t feel that the new staff is as experienced. Even when we drive by the property now, we no longer see dogs out playing in the fields like we used to. Such a shame as we always felt good taking our pups to Hy Country in the past.
Found them last minute and they fit us in for the long weekend! beautiful real grass fields for dogs to play on. each dog has its own secure room to sleep in that is quite large for a kennel. was impressed to see the dog runs are all individually attached to the outdoors by way of separate entrance!!! rate was lower than others which made them my last call as I kind of thought the old "you get what you pay for" but I will always go here from now on!!!!!!! thank you Hy Country!!!
Great experience with our 2 young Boxers. We found them after their first kennel experience to be happy and relaxed. They ate well, and played outside lots. The facility is clean, well set up, and very organized. Staff are friendly and seem to really enjoy their job.
I used to board my dog here while I was away at work. I felt comfortable and safe leaving him there. That is until the new owners took over. They are inexperienced and just plain bad at their jobs. They isolated my dog the last time saying that other dogs are afraid of him because of his size. However, no dogs have ever been afraid of him before or since. They were projecting their own nonsense. Why would I want my dog to be isolated for two weeks and I only found out when I picked him up. They also had been using my leash on other dogs. They don't know how to handle dogs. They repeat phony pleasantries over and over and don't actually know the first thing about what they are doing. Whatever they did to lose Megan was a huge mistake. I'll go wherever Megan ends up. They also went out and bought food and added it to my bill without asking for permission first. There are so many other kennels in town I don't recommend going to this one anymore. It's unfortunate they are ruining a good community legacy for hy country.
We love Hy Country Kennels! Our girl Baia is always super excited to go for a sleepover and loves the friends she makes there! Megan is great with the dogs and is always able to accommodate our last minute plans. I would highly recommend Hy Country to anyone needing a kennel!
Terrible experience dropping off my dog to a large, industrial, dark, cement, feces smelling room that had 15+ loud barking dogs. My dog didn't want to go in, he was scared. The worker tried using his foot to convince my dog to go into his cage... Not appropriate. I had to leave my dog with someone who can't even try and make my dog feel comfortable!? The cages were a fair size, joined immediately to the neighbors cages. They had doors to go outside, however all were boarded shut. The procedure for dropping and collecting your furball was very stressful, both for pet and owner. My dog was stressed when collected, out of sorts and scared. Now is fighting kennel cough that he picked up there. never again!
We normally try to find a way to leave our dog at home with friends or family but when it just doesn't work out, Hy country has been great to our dog. Friendly happy service. :)
The owner and staff alike are very friendly and professional. The animals appeared very cared for. Not just their basic needs but affection too.

Absolutely incredible service and care of our two dogs by the owner Tania. She went above and beyond for us when we had an opportunity to extend our ski trip in Sun Peaks for an extra two nights, and didn't hesitate to accommodate our request. She even provided the extra dog food we needed to allow us to stay. There's good service and then there is exceptional service, which is what Tania provided. Thank you so much again for caring for our fur babies.
Tania's kennel is a good one. There is indoor/outdoor accommodation for all weather conditions, a good play area, and great care provided. Our Alaskan Malamute, Ruby, had stayed at Two Paws Up several times for 2 or 3 days at a time over a recent span of two years. Then we went to Europe for 18 nights away. Ruby didn't agree to an extended stay and chewed through the chain-link fencing on her run only to find she had "escaped" to the run next door! In a different run with heavier chain-link, she figured out how to get under the heavier fencing! Tania brought Ruby into her home for the remaining 15 nights of our absence. She and her Staff looked after Ruby with the professional diligence that prevented any further difficulties. I trust Tania and the Staff she works with. You can too! Aleta Wallace 16oct23
We've been boarding our poodles here for well over a decade (after a horrible experience at another local kennel where my standard poodle was traumatized). He LOVED 2 Paws Up!) On the drives to Tappen the dogs figure out where they were going and get so excited! At pick-up time, they greet me happily, but are in no hurry at all to leave all their new canine friends and the fun at Tania's. They give her goodbye kisses. That is the best sign to me that this is the best boarding kennel around! We travel several times a year, and are thankful our baby(ies) are cared for, and enjoying their vacation, too.

Although we 'only' get our black lab's nails trimmed here, I am very glad to have found Lori (and her staff) after a referral by my masseuse. We tried to do his nails ourselves but it didn't work out after a couple of attempts. For the very reasonable price and quick job, without having any long waits (drop-in basis), this is much better for both dog and us. The facility looks very clean, the grooming appears very professional and the attitude of the people working there is great. Great bargain and wonderful service.
I took my dogs here for the first time to have their nails trimmed, and WOW! Fast, efficient, friendly, and the cost was great! My dogs were super nervous to be in a new space but the staff made it quick and painless. I would definitely recommend taking your pups here.

Lori has a way with dogs and listens to what a person wants. This old guy doesn't like being bathed but with Lori he sits through it without fussing. She also uses Earth brand Pet Shampoo which is so great !
I looked at these reviews and sounded good. So I brought my puppy in to get his claws clipped. And it was unbelievably fast as I had read and cheap. Was awesome. And the lady was very nice. I recommend this place for sure. 2 thumbs up.
I take my dog here to get her nails trimmed. The ladies are fast, caring and efficient. My dog even loves coming here! I recommend taking your pets here for pampering!!!
My husband took both of our Tollers here and they came back looking horrible. She over-groomed them tremendously. They don't look like their breed anymore at all. Mikayla said she knew how to groom this breed but she absolutely does NOT!!! She said she brushed them but I don't believe it; when WE brush them hair doesn't come out in your hands and it does now. I believe they were washed, blown dry and clippered. Their paws haven't much hair left on them as they should, all the feathering of their coat is clipped off jagged and extremely short. Nothing is smooth it looks horrible. 😠 This is disappointing because they needed to be groomed a certain way. Will not be returning and do NOT recommend.
LOVE these ladies... My dog is in good hands! I drive from next town to get my Irish Water Spaniel groomed regularly. I also drop in with my bunnies or dog to get nails trimmed - just pop in, and they will immediately do it for you. WIZ

Ted and Nicole took excellent care of my friends cat Strawberry on two occasions when he needed extended care for her. They were available on short notice and flexible with the time frame as we were unsure how long she would need their care. Their price is more than fair, especially considering how much attention they gave her. They also sent photos to my friend to keep him smiling. Thank you so much Ted and Nicole, I'm sure you will see Miss Strawberry again!
I was going through a tough time and Ted and Nicole took my sweetpea in and let him stay for a year! Just until I found place to live, they would send me photos and updates and on the day I picked him up they made sure that I had litter and food for him, I know they took excellent care of my baby while I was away. I can tell they are very passionate about what they do and the service they provide.
Ted and Nicole have been caring for our very shy cat Button for an extended period while are moving from one home and waiting to settle into the new house. We receive regular updates on her (with photos!) and I know they make every effort to ensure she is comfortable. I know too they've gone the extra mile as well to keep her as stress-free as possible in understanding how wary she is with new people. Highly recommended.
I have left my cat Pockets at Serenity Meow many times. The enclosures are so spacious and lots of room to play. Ted and Nicole really care about the cats. My cat comes home just the same as when I left her, which is how I can tell she's well taken care of. They are the only place I would trust to care for and love her while I am away. I would give them 10 stars if i could!
I always sent my children to this daycare whenever we went on long trips. They received such wonderful care and had a great time there. I really appreciated how the owner would often update me on how they were doing.
Needed to board our two kitties for 2 nights very last minute over the weekend. Ted & his wife were so easy and friendly to deal with over the phone, and Ted was even more delightful in person once we arrived. You can immediately tell that they do this 100% out of their love for cats & we didn't have a single worry after dropping them off. The boys are now back home and seemingly unphased by their first boarding experience. Big THANK YOU to Ted & his wife at Serenity Meow for making a sometimes stressful situation a breeze!!!
