Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

Sharon was an excellent sitter who I knew was taking great care of my two dogs while away. She walked them, was a clean guest, and sent regular pictures and updates. I’d recommend her to anyone.
I’m sure most folks say the nicest things about their sitter, but honestly, if there were a “super star” status available then Denise would win the prize as sitter of the year! From the start, Denise was an excellent communicator. While we were still in the decision phase, Denise was always available to chat either by FaceTime, telephone or text. It was so easy to choose Denise; as you can see from her countless 5 star reviews, she truly is the only pet sitter you’d ever need and the one everyone hopes to have. Denise came to our house eager to meet us, our pets and the quirks of our house. Denise has an excellent sense of humor and immediately put us all at ease. Our pets took to her as if she was a long lost friend (even our finicky Siamese cat was loving on her from the start). While we were gone, our dog had a non-emergency health issue come up and just like that Denise was taking her to our vet, and administered the dog’s meds like a champion (Denise is also a nurse BTW). Additionally, Denise brought our pup to her scheduled groom appointments and even made future appointments for us to make our return home as seamless as possible. Denise was even above and beyond helpful to our neighbors and they appreciated her giving them access to our refrigerator when theirs broke down on Thanksgiving Eve! When we got home we were super impressed by how perfectly immaculate our house was! Most sitters leave the house clean, but Denise met and may have even exceeded our military standards of clean and orderly. Seriously, our house felt like we never left it. Everything was spotless, shinny and clean. She didn’t miss a beat!! Our pets were so happy to see us but honestly, I felt like our pup and kitty were disappointed when we walked in the door (I believe they were expecting to see Denise!). Haha. If you are ever fortunate enough to have Denise apply for any of your sits then I can’t recommend her enough. Seriously, you can stop reviewing applicants and just go with Denise. She was awesome in every sense of the word and I hope she’ll come back and stay with our pets again.
Cristina is simply the best house/pet sitter that we have ever had. She is responsible and dependable and an experienced dog owner. Our Wheaten, Bridie, adores her and misses her when she leaves.
Wendy sat for us on three occasions this Summer and I can’t say enough good things about her. The dogs were well taken care of and she was, organized, tidy, and responsible. It’s great to find a house/pet sitter that you can rest easy knowing everything is taken care of. We are hoping she will want to spend more time in the PNW!
They took very good care of my pets which involved feeding cats twice daily, fish once or twice a day and filling up fountain for birds. Animals were healthy and happy when I returned. Nothing was lost or broken, and Diane even found a lost grinder part that had fallen into the cats food while I was using it. They are a pleasant couple. They were invited from Wednesday to Sunday. They arrived on Monday so had 3 days instead of one to learn the pets routine. They also informed me that they wouldn't be leaving until Monday morning, but that worked out well since I was mistaken about the end date of my cruise and couldn't get home until Monday. Everything was left neat, but I had minor housekeeping to do (clean sink, fingerprints off glass table, sweep floor). They are older than stated on the profile, which they said only allows 65 as a top age. 68 and 73. Bruce has health problems that requires he sleeps sitting up in a chair that has a leg lift, which luckily I had, so he slept in my living room. They are fine caring for cats, but my friend with a dog decided to find another sitter rather than leave him with them (she was going to pay) because they seem somewhat frail.
Lynn and Ray were fabulous sitters, going above and beyond to take care of our home, yard, and rambunctious pup. Leaving him for three weeks was very difficult but we felt confident once we met them. They are great communicators, very professional, capable of handling any situation, and personable. Since they are fully self-contained in their van, they arrived a day early so we could show them the place, have our dog Bailey get comfortable with them (that was immediate ☺), and get to know them over dinner together. While on our trip, they sent us daily photos of Bailey, which we really appreciated, and updates on their activities. They took him hiking almost every day and kept him well exercised. Any issues that came up (e.g., our irrigation water ran dry a couple weeks in) they communicated to us and we were able to resolve them quickly. They also harvested ripe berries and squash for us and even harvested and dried tomatoes in our dryer. We spent our entire trip feeling assured that all things were being taken care of and feel ever so grateful that we found Lynn and Ray through TH. We returned from our trip to a house that was thoroughly cleaned (better than we left it ☺), with fresh sheets on the bed, and a happy dog. Five-star sitters for sure!
Jim sat for my extremely shy rescue pup and new kitten for two weeks -- my pup struggles with new people, and is very fearful of men in particular. And yet, Jim was more successful with her than any sitter I've ever had: I can't recommend him highly enough. He has wonderful patience, a calm energy, and is a great communicator. He consistently updated me with photos and videos of my sweet girls enjoying the world with him, taking my dog on hikes and adventures to her favorite streams. He went above and beyond both for her (in meeting her needs and taking the time to get to know her personality), and also in caring for my home. I returned to such a cozy environment, a repaired wood stove, an organized wood pile and an at-peace dog and cat. Choosing Jim as a sitter is ensuring that your pets and home are getting the best of care, and his actions exemplify his kindness, generosity and thought taken in consideration of others. I hope to have him return many times in the future; the experience was a privilege both for myself and my pets.
Alia is truly the most wonderful, loving and kind dog sitter I have used. My husky LOVES her. Not to mention whenever I travel and return home, my apartment is neat and orderly. She even baked a treat for me on my return! I highly recommend Alia. She has sat for me several times and I can't wait to use her again. Thanks Alia! Me and Grey love having you:)
Alia is awesome and we have used her several times. She is a 5 star rated sitter every time. The dogs are happy and the house is perfect when we get home. She even cooked dinner for our arrival home because we came home late. Highly recommend Alia!!
Lori and Joe took great care of our two dogs and tow cats while we were gone. Our plans changed and we actually asked if they could come a day before we had originally planned to leave and they said no problem! They even stayed over on the night we got home so that we could meet them which was very nice! Lori was very good with communication before the house sit and also during the time they were here. She let us they had arrived safely and then sent us a short text or pictures every day of the animals. The house looked cleaner than when we left it when we got home! Lori and Joe were great house sitters and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

We reached out to Nancy a couple of times for overnights for our young male lab and she was great! Our need increased after a cancer diagnosis and she was super accommodating to our sporadic schedule while I was unable to walk him at all. Now Nancy comes 2x a week most weeks and our baby seems to really love it! He gets excited when he sees her pull up and is tired but happy when he gets back home. I recommend Nancy and Take the Lead!
We used Nancy and Take the Lead for several years while we lived in Scituate. She was great. 15 months ago we moved to Atlanta but now (10/16) we are moving back. I called Nancy to see if she could take care of our dog and cat for the first to nights while we moved in. Once again she has come to our rescue. We are a big fan of Nancy and Take the Lead. We trusted her with our keys and our pets. She never failed us. Thank you Nancy! You can use her with confidence.
Nancy is so great with our 2 year old lab. She has watched him overnight on several occasions ranging from a night to over a week. He’s always happy to arrive, play with her dogs, and go on hikes :) Highly recommend her!!
Nancy is a real dog person with a big heart for her clients and very knowledgeable. She cares for your pet like it’s one of her own! She sends you photos of your pet while you’re away so you can rest assured they are happy and safe with her!
Call Nancy for your all your boarding needs. She took great care of our 3 papillons while we were away on vacation. Nancy even took the time to send us pictures and updates on how our dogs were doing. I highly recommend Take The Lead Pet Care to anyone who wants a worry -free boarding experience. 5 STARS!
Since moving to Scituate in June 2011, Nancy and Take the Lead Pet Care have been like a second family to our 3 1/2 year old Portuguese Water Dog, Farley, and our kitties. Nancy provides the utmost in care and experience and has been there for us whenever we've needed her--whether a last minute schedule change for impromptu dog care, or as a caring support to show us tips and techniques when our cat Izzy was terminally ill. Our dog Farley joins in her doggie outing group several times a week and always comes home happy and exhausted! Take the Lead has provided boarding for times when we've been away and Nancy treats our dog like her own--she has even sent daily photos and texts. Take the Lead Pet Care is the absolute VERY best care for your pets on the South Shore--thanks so much, Nancy!!
Take the Lead is fantastic! When we moved to Scituate a year ago Nancy was so kind and helpful to us in so many ways. When she takes our high energy vizsla (Ginger) for doggie play dates and walks, she comes home exhausted (not easy to do with Ginger!). Nancy is caring, compassionate, attentive and I feel 100% confident that Ginger is well cared for with her. I recommend TTL to any dog owner!!
I highly recommend Take the Lead Pet Care! Nancy has taken such great care of my 2 labs, and is especially attentive to my elderly one as she ages. Great communication; extremely reliable. I know she loves my dogs!
I cannot recommend Nancy. Initially our experience with her was very positive. She was very flexible with our schedule and arrived when expected. That all changed this week. Scituate had a lockdown and Nancy never arrived at our house to let our dog out. We were not aware of the situation and she never called me to let me know she wasn't going to make it. My dog was left in the house without relief for twelve hours. I realize the lockdown was out of her control but making a phone call was not. Nancy assured me she would be a our house later in the week and again she never showed up and never called.
Take the Lead truly loves our baby and keeps him very active and social. Typically they walk our dog but the value they provide is the flexibility in their care. Time of day, length of service and even sleep over requests are all accommodated by Take the Lead. I have and would recommend their services to anyone that needs care for their pets because our dog is social, fit and well cared for by Take the Lead Pet Care.
I have been working with Stephanie Curran, the owner of Recurve, for 6 years now. Before she even opened a shop, I had gotten my first puppy and needed help desperately. She took my Blue on hikes and did training sessions with me. Once she opened her shop, I was beyond excited! I lived in Brockton at the time, but I had no problem driving to Scituate before driving to Quincy for work. I knew that my dog, and now dogs, are in the best hands with the most knowledgeable and patient staff. They are always so happy and tired when I pick them up. I couldn't have asked to find a better trainer and daycare!
Ultra professional and caring daycare & boarding. My dog comes home happy and tired. The employees are top notch and the daycare is structured so there is always someone outdoors watching the dogs at play and giving correction if needed.
Did a great job on my Chocolate Lab and my Puggle. Their regular groomer retired and their nails had gotten REALLY long. Recurve K9 responded to my message promptly, got an appointment quickly and took us right away. Phenomenal job on both dogs. Will definitely be back!!
Best place you could leave your dogs. They always take the best care of them. Best employees that are nothing but helpful. It’s the only place and people I trust to leave my dogs with when I go on vacation or to leave with just for the day.
Employees are very rude - do not recommend edit- I pulled in to ask about openings for cat grooming as it was listed - I saw the closed sign and paused to check again your times - your employees left and I was blocking the exit so I drove down to the overflow parking lot to turn around- in the process of doing a 3 point turn - your employees drive down and stop the car in such a way that I could no long exit - I grab my phone to wait for them to move which had pokemon go as I have an auto catcher- your employees exit the car and walked over which weirded me out as their car was still blocking the exit- they asked why I was their and showed the phone because honestly I was baffled- they then said private property and then got back into the car and moved it so I could leave - the issue here is the blocked exit - I was there for a legitimate reason - your employees were just so hostile that I didn't both explaining because I desperately wanted to leave and never come back
As so many other dog owners, our pup is literally our child so we were understandably nervous to put her into the care of someone else. Mark and Stephanie, as well as their whole staff, are incredibly transparent, thoughtful and trustworthy. We recently left our little one to board there for 10 or so days while we were on vacation and things couldn't have gone more smoothly. We feel very lucky to have Recurve.
I had an amazing experience with Stephanie and Recurve! I am a first time dog owner and I had no idea what I was doing. Stephanie was a HUGE help with training my puppy! I saw so much improvement after each training session and it was really refreshing watching my puppy learn and grow into a very well trained and happy dog. We worked on leash walking, confidence building, recall, and much more. My ultimate goal was to be able to have my puppy off leash and because of Steph and Recurve, I can make that goal happen! I would highly recommend! I'm looking forward to bringing my puppy to Recurve for daycare and boarding in the future.
Cannot recommend Recurve K9 enough! We did the basic obedience training with our rescue dog, and Stephanie taught our dog obedience and so much more. She recommended food for our dog’s sensitive stomach, taught her how to walk on a leash without pulling, and answered all of our questions about how to care for our first dog. Stephanie and Mark are great people, and we trust them completely with our dog. She loves going there for daycare, and we look forward to boarding there soon!
We boarded our two dogs with Steph for the weekend and couldn't be happier. Knowing our dogs were well taken care of let us relax and enjoy the weekend. They came home clean, happy, and tired. I would highly recommend!
They are great! My dog loves it.
My husband and I recently moved to Cohasset from downtown Boston and we were in need of a reliable dog walking service for our fur baby during the week while we were at work and to get his energy out. He is a 2 year Bernedoodle who still has the energy of a puppy! Dogs Go Hiking was recommended to us and we couldn’t be happier with them! They are extremely communicative with when we can expect his pick up/drop off so we know that he is well taken care of and they are always very responsive and flexible with any scheduling changes that we request. Our pup is taken on amazing hikes throughout the area and the highlight of our days are the great pictures that they send to us. He is making lots of new friends and stays social with all sorts of breeds and sizes. If you love your baby as much as we do, sign them up with Dogs Go Hiking to live their best lives ever!
I cannot say enough good things about Dogs Go Hiking. The hikes are incredible and so much better than a walk around the neighborhood. Our dog gets amazing exercise, mental stimulation and socialization exploring new places. And it is extremely safe and structured- they really get to know your dog and the best way to manage them before they take them out on hikes. All the employees truly love what they do and it shows through their work, they bond with each dog and take such amazing care of them. We've used DGH for both hikes and overnight care and we just feel so lucky to have found them. It is like having another family member around to help care for your dog.
Absolutely love everyone at Dogs Go Hiking. Giles has been with the group hikes but recently switch to the shorter walks because his arthritis. All the walkers have been incredibly kind and understanding of our old man! He’s even had a sleepover and was showered with attention and treats. Would recommend all their services!
We are so happy with dogs go hiking! Our pups love their hikes and always come back tired and happy. Thanks for taking such good care of them!
My pup adores the hikes and always gets so excited to see her hiker come pick her up! They are so very communicative and organized, as well. Love the app, highly recommend! Tired happy pup photo for reference 🐾❤️ …
Boomer, of Newburyport MA, has been regularly attending Dogs Go Hiking since Autumn 2021. On hike days, he's so happy & excited to be getting out with his friends. Before he started with them, he a bored, lazy & overweight dog. As of his recent vet appointment last month, for a 10 year old lab, he's muscular, lean, and his confidence has changed so much. It's the nicest thing anyone can do for their dog. In the cooler weather, they hike, play ball in the fields, and explore the trails. When it's very hot, they take short hikes and play in the cool water together. The hikers always have his health & wellbeing as their #1 priority. The off road hikes are enriching to your dog who naturally wants to explore in a pack.
I highly recommend Dogs Go Hiking! Our rescue pup Molly loves her hikers so much and always comes home happy and tired!! They are also great helping me with leash training tips as we work on toning down Molly’s excitement a bit!
I chose Dogs Go Hiking after speaking with many other dog walking businesses in the area, so I would say I vetted them pretty well : ) For my two small dogs, I found their pricing to be very reasonable amongst others I researched, but what really stood out is their service and the reassurance I felt that our dogs would be in the best hands with their team. Amity (owner) is highly communicative which is really a relief when you’re in the midst of schedule changes, etc. What I love most is their flexibility and how happy our dogs are after going on a hike with one of their dog walkers. They leave notes when they visit, which is always amusing and fun to hear how your dogs hike was. I can’t say enough about Amity and her team at Dogs Go Hiking!
When I relocated from Boston to Scituate, one of my top priorities was finding great care for my dog, Gary, to make sure he was happy. After making some calls, I came across Amity, and Dogs Go Hiking, which has been nothing short of a godsend for keeping my little guy happy. Rather than just sitting in a kennel, or a small playroom all day, Amity and her staff take their dogs out for daily adventures at Wompatuck State Park, where they can run, play, and explore. I actually get a little jealous when I get photos or Gary hanging out with his friends on a beautiful day. Furthermore, Amity is exceptionally accommodating to my schedule, and I know she loves Gary, so I'm always confident that he's in good hands, when I can't be there with him. If I could give Dogs Go Hiking 100 stars, I would!
We love Dogs Go Hiking on the north shore. We've been with them since they started and our dog Ollie loves all his walkers, the dogs he plays with and comes home exhausted. DGH knows know to communicate with clients, shares walk summaries with the owners, and is on time. We recommend them 100%!
We love sending our puppy for day care. Our dog loves the people and of course the other dogs. This is a friendly and loving environment for your pet. The dogs are safe and have lots of fun.
Really glad I chose here for doggy day care! Very clean facility with friendly, personable, and trustworthy staff. My pup absolutely loves it here!
My toy ShihPoo loves it here! They separate the small dogs from the larger ones, this is the only way to ensure his safety and comfort. They are very attentive and caring, all dog lovers! Note there is a trial period to ensure your dog is a good fit, also usually a waiting list to get your pup in.
My dogs have been staying with Fox and Hound for 5 years now. My first service animal, Jack, was attacked and pretty badly injured. They paid the vet bill but it was tough to see a 16 year old dog go through the trauma and lengthy recovery. Now my new pal, who stayed there overnight last week contracted kennel cough. My vet said that even though immunized, certain strains of the virus can still infect. She's a sick pup. They should shut the place down for a thorough disinfection and more importantly, ask for medical records for all their dogs. The have never asked me for mine. Despite that they offer pick up and drop off, the main reason I continued to use them, I will never board my best pal there again. It's a far cry from the days that Robin was in charge and handled each account personally. Now it's just money, money, money.
Friendly, caring staff who manage the dogs well, giving them plenty of exercise and socialization, including outside activity as weather allows. My dog loves coming here, and our boarding experiences have been very positive.
My 4.5 year old lab mix has been going to Fox & Hound for 2 years, twice a week, for doggy daycare. She comes home happy and tired. The staff is phenominal!!! I highly recommend bringing your furbaby here for daycare, boarding and grooming. You will be very happy that you did!! And so will your pet.
My dog has had the opportunity to take advantage of many Fox & Hound programs - from Petit daycare and boarding in Norwell to puppy and now “adult” day training in Hingham. The staff is amazing!! Oh, and grooming by Lyndsey @ the Hingham location. She’s amazing too!
By far the best place I've ever taken my dog to board and for daycare. She loves going and comes home tired and happy. The staff is great and takes care of her like she's their own.
I've tried other kennels, but, this one is the best. My dogs tell me that anyway. And I tend to agree with them. They are happy and well-adjusted each time I pick them up. The owner cares and so do the staff.
Surprisingly disappointed - did not meet basic expectations. Felt like doing us a favor - not a good positive vibe. Appeared regulars get treated differently. Example: We enthusiastcally signed up for daily 15 minute walks over 6 day stay and we’re told these would occur unless there was really poor weather. When we picked him up we were ‘asked’ if it was ok that they walked him only 3 times - due to lack of available staff. Come on, you tell us after the fact that what was expected to happen did not happen - because you didn’t have staff?? Not cool - not how to run a business. I guess he was treated ok - seemed ok when I picked him up. But still, I feel bad, mostly disappointed in myself for putting trust in them - felt like I let my dog down. Not going back.
Im so so glad we found Christine, my Luna love her soo much and her new friends. She really is an angel, and took care of my baby so well she was howling and crying cause she didn’t want to leave lol. I recommend her services 100% she even give me a photo of luna ❣️ plus she text me and send me videos all time so i feel safe and confortable, we are definitely coming back to her always. Thanks so much Christine.
We were VERY thankful we found Christine to care for our dog while we were away. Christine took great care of our dog, sent photos and updates. He had a blast with her dogs and was showered with attention. It was evident from all of our conversations that Christine LOVES dogs and this came through in photos and just how our dog behaved at and after pick-up. When we picked him up he was content and happy, and not at all in a hurry to leave. (Prior to this we always felt terrible leaving him at a kennel, even if he got some playtime he always seemed nervous for a few days after pickup). Our dog looks forward to his next stay with Christine, we called it his dog-vacation since he had so much fun. Highly recommend.
I cannot say enough about how AMAZING Christine was with my 2 dogs!!!! I have never felt so comfortable leaving my dogs anywhere before!!! Christine is extremely attentive to the dogs and their individual needs. I left my dogs with her for 6 days and recieved frequent updates and pictures, they had SO much fun. They were able to play in the fenced in yard as much as they wanted every day that they were there! And when I came back they just seemed so relaxed and happy in her home!! I don't think they wanted to leave!! This is the only place I will be leaving them from now on!!
Recently had our 10 month old golden stay with Christine, our dog loved it! Christine did a great jobs of keeping us updated and clearly loves does and truly wants her home to be their home while their owners are away. This was the first time that we’ve left our pup Harley with someone other then family, so we were a bit nervous at first. But Christine had us come over a few days before hand to meet her and her two pups and so she could meet Harley. I could tell right away the good care she would take in making sure our dog was happy and healthy while staying with her. She only takes two dogs at a time so our dog got plenty of attention! There’s a fenced in yard for the pups to play in and plenty of toys too. Christine checked in regularly to make us feel at ease and Harley wasn’t in a rush to leave when we picked her up so it was clear she had a good time. We will definitely have Harley stay with Christine again and I would highly recommend her.
Christine is an absolute angel! I just moved here this summer and am super new to the North East. I don't know a soul here besides my coworkers. I had to leave town for several days to tend to an emergency back home. I had no idea what I was going to do with my dog. I found Christine online, and to be honest I was nervous having to find someone here to watch my baby, but she exceeded any and all expectations. Christine has a great personality and you can see the love and passion she has for taking great care of dogs the second you meet her. Her house is nice and cozy, she has a yard that is double gated, and is supervising 24/7. She even slept downstairs in the living room every single night to ensure my dog never felt alone or uncomfortable! I heard from Christine every single day, got updates, pictures, videos, etc. I am so grateful for finding Christine and for the love she has for other's pets. Christine is amazing and I am truly so thankful for her care and hospitality. If I am ever in need of someone to care for my pup, she is the first person I will reach out to without any hesitation! Thank you so much Christine for all that you do! It means more than you know.
We have used Christine to watch our pup twice now (once overnight). She has a well fenced in a yard and two very friendly dogs our puppy got along with great. Christine is a great communicator and was very accommodating. She understood our concerns as pet owners (probably easy being one herself). You should feel very comfortable leaving your dog with her.
Christine took amazing care of our puppy when we went away for the weekend. She is a very kind person and truly loves animals. She kept us updated with pictures of our puppy having a great time throughout. We will definitely be bringing our dog back to her next time we go away. When I picked our dog up I could tell she felt right at home at Christine’s place. Thanks again Christine, Maya can’t wait to see you again.
Christine is so amazing and kind. She really loves the animals and does so much to make the parents feel comfortable. I got pictures and videos through the stay. I have an adolescent 8 month old and she had so much fun. Slept so well once home. Christine even gave us a personalized gift for our first stay which warms my heart. I would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family!
Christine is great! Our dog boarded with her for a week and she got a lot of attention and play time. Christine provided us with updates/pictures every morning and evening which was great. She’s with the dogs 24/7 which really eased our worries about leaving for vacation.
There need to be more people like Christine in this world! This was our first time leaving "Thea" with anyone, and we were nervous wrecks until meeting with Christine. After talking to us over the phone, she invited us to her place so we could see if Thea would be comfortable staying there. Once we arrived, she slowly introduced her dogs to Thea and ensured that Thea was comfortable throughout the whole experience. Christine answered all of our questions and made us feel as if we were family. We agreed to let Christine watch Thea for nine days while we were gone, and we do not regret it. The hospitality and professionalism did not stop there. Christine informed us that we could drop Thea off at any time, and we took her up on that offer. I had a banquet that I had to attend and would not be able to get Thea there until 10 P.M. That was no problem for Christine, and she happily took Thea in at that time. Christine would send us updates, pictures, and videos every day throughout Thea's stay. She answered all of my calls and ensured that Thea and we were comfortable throughout the whole experience. She also allowed us to extend for a day and was happy to keep Thea for an additional day. Christine's place is a must if you are looking for someone to watch your dog for a few days or a few weeks. She never puts your dog in a kennel/cage; she is with them throughout the whole experience, and she goes over every detail with you. Thea did not want to leave when we arrived. Not only did we go home with a happy dog, but Christine added her personal touch by sending us home with a surprise that we now have hanging in our house. We have also booked another week with Christine this summer. We have officially found "A Home Away From Home" for Thea! Thank you again, Christine; you genuinely care about all animals.
I can't say enough wonderful things about Puppy Love Pet Care! April not only takes my dog on play dates three days a week, but she also watches him at her home while I'm away. Henry adores April and playing with all of his friends! It's also comforting to know that Henry is with a family that adores him while I'm away and not locked up in a kennel.
April has been watching our Molly for the past 1.5 years. We found her through a personal recommendation and never looked back. She is so loving & caring with the dogs and helps with anything you on are working on -training wise ( bonus) . Molly is also socialized on these days, playing with many of her other dogs she takes care of. April also does sleepeovers and Molly comes home exhausted and so very happy. I would highly recommend April to anyone looking for a dog walker/pet sitter.
If your looking for a loving, caring, trustworthy person to take care of your “Fur baby” either to walk or help you with training, or to watch while your away. April is the BEST! She helped us with our dogs and continues to help us anytime we need her. Our dogs love playing with her and she works magic with hyper puppies! We continue to recommend Puppy Love Pet Care to all our friends & family ❤️ Kim & Mike .. Holbrook
April is a Godsend. . I was anxious about finding the right fit for a walker for my high energy GSP when I moved to Pembroke. By chance I found April on Facebook and set up a meeting. She came over to meet Gus and it was a great fit from the start. The only downside is I think Gus likes April better than me now :-( From a business perspective - she is super responsive, flexible with weekly schedules changing, and her rates are awesome for the quality of care. I highly recommend April to anyone moving to the area!
We have used Puppy Love Pet Care for our dog Murphy on multiple occasions. All I can say is April is amazing and our dog loves her and everyone at Puppy Love! When they stay with her they are treated like one of her own dogs. Highly recommend!!
My Dog has been doing Daycare with April now for about 6 months and its the best thing I could of done for him. April is so caring, and really loves her pups. I also did a 3 night sleepover while I went away and I seriously do not think my guy missed me cause he had so much fun with April and her family. I highly recommend this business! A+++
I might be biased because the owner is my sister, but April is truly amazing with her fur baby guests! When we go away for vacations or long weekends that our pup can't attend, we drive all the way from NH (2 1/2 hrs!!) to pembrook so April will have her!! I highly recommend Puppy Love Pet Care!!
Thank you so much!
Hello, I don't think we have met. Im so sorry that you felt you needed to rate 1 star! What could i do to change this?
Thank you 💕🐾 …
Boarded my 2 dogs here for a week and I think they had a better vacation than me, all the staff really cares about the animals and gives them a lot of love and whatever they need. Great prices too would highly recommend to anyone
Amazing staff, very personable, they are awesome with my dog reactive dog. They give her lots of love while we are away which helps me with leaving her in kennel as I know she’s being well cared for!
Miss Holly is wonderful, my dogs pull me to get in there to see her! That's how you know it's all good!!!!!! Plus she does a beautiful job
I get my dog groomed with Holly every few months. She is SO loving and caring to every dog in there. She does a fabulous job with her grooming and always gives advice on how to cut/shave depending on the time of year. Holly TRULY cares about the dogs there and I feel so comfortable bringing my dog Foxy in to get groomed with her. So thankful we found her! Highly recommend.
Holly is great. She has groomed there for a long time! Always a pleasure to see her and my dog looks great when he comes home. He is a big guy so I really do appreciate her working with him. Thank you Holly.
I have been boarding and grooming my dogs here for over 30 years. And I occasionally do daycare. I trust these people. Most of my dogs have loved going here. (Current dog not so much, but that's just her.) I recommend this place highly!
Elja kennels knows the breeds and does an amazing job! Our 6 month old Airedale is getting used to grooming and we are taking direction from Holly and keeping him looking good!
My dog loves it here. Lisa, the owner, is super friendly and you can just tell she loves all the dogs here!
Have used them for several years and ALL have been fantastic experiences. My boxer is a bit shy and doesn’t do well with many dogs The kennel owners walk her separately and play with her too I highly recommend this kennel
The folks at Elja are so kind and caring for my little doxie Sansa - even to the point of hand-feeding her when she wasn't interested in her kibble. I appreciate that caring attention!
We were in a bind and needed our English bulldog to stay overnight during our camping vacation. Not being from the area we were nervous about leaving him anywhere, but the staff was calming, friendly and reassuring. They allowed us to tour the whole facility and showed us where our boy would be staying. He was very well taken care of and came back to us safe and happy!
I bring my dog and my mom’s dog they are both HORRIBLE to get their nails done and the woman takes them back and gets them done and says they were good everytime! The fact that she could get get clippers near them let alone walk out completely done with both dogs in less then 15 min! The staff are extremely kind and reassuring I’m a paranoid dog Mom and I’ve had bad experiences with groomers in the past. They allowed me to tour the facility my first time there. And put my mind at ease
I want to thank Taylor for the amazing grooming job that she gave my dog Hank today. As my niece would say “he is stage ready” …. I am so glad we found you Taylor! -Carrie Gabrielle
They love my dog like I do. They take very good care of her. Very kind people. Reasonable prices. Love supporting local. I never worry when my dog is in their care.
10/10 ! I was referred here by a friend for my pup shih tzu Marley and have loved the experience since Day 1. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The place itself is very clean and very spacious. With a place this big I was nervous about my small dog being over powered by the other big dogs in the building however, they are kept separate and all the dogs in there have been super friendly which is a plus. The grooming has been wonderful. I got exactly what I’ve asked for and the groomer, Taylor is wonderful and experienced. She found a few ticks on my dog and then took the time to explain how to search for them, the areas to search and what to do to help prevent it aside from the medicine / ointment & collars. Even though I love 25 minutes away, it’s well worth the drive!
My dog, Mac, absolutely loves it here. He gets so excited to be dropped off and is exhausted by the end of the day! Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
They are the best at pampered paws. My little frenchie gets so excited the second we get off the exit & comes home wiped out from playing all day. Cyndi & Michelle are so good to my little guy! Couldn't recommend enough!
Absolutely incredible place. My dog loves it there. Always so excited to see the staff. I love that he plays so much he's tired when he gets home.
Great place for both, Dog boarding and daycare, clean and well kept. The Staff is extremely friendly, Highly recommend!
Love this place- I’ve only taken my dog for grooming (not boarding or doggie day care)- everyone is so friendly and professional. Booking is easy and they are prompt and their prices are very reasonable.
We couldn’t recommend Donna and The Daily Dog more highly! When we got our German Shorthaired Pointer as a rehomed pup with very little formal training, we were lucky to find Donna to help us with EVERYTHING from understanding the dog’s perspective, to proper training techniques, tips on products, and basics of E-collar training. Donna has a special talent for communicating her vast knowledge without making it feel overwhelming - in fact she makes training fun. And Ginkgo loves her boarding stays – she always comes back happy and just a little bit smarter!
We recently rescued Nori from Puerto Rico and although she is very sweet, she needed some guidance and structure. One our goals was to allow Nori to walk off leash with us on the trails around town. Donna was able to help us through the process of Nori's settling into our home. We are happy to say she is a very happy girl who walks on and off leash with no issues. She has learned multiple commands and enjoys just being with us. I highly recommend Donna for any training your dog may need. She has a lot of experience and taught us things about dogs we didn't know. Nori adores her and was a great student! Donna can even come to your house, which is what we opted to do as Nori was a little reactive around other dogs.
Donna and the Daily Dog are the best around, I highly recommend working with them! I was lucky enough to have been referred to Donna when I got a puppy and was looking for a trainer. As a first time dog owner, Donna was patient enough to educate me as well as work with me to train my dog. Starting with fundamentals and progressing as the dog learned her commands. Donna also has a true understanding of dog behavior which is extremely helpful in training and overcoming any behavioral issues. Now I have an obedient, well trained dog who gets to live her best life!
Donna is an awesome trainer, she was a huge help with training our young Wheaten Terrier so she can live her best life. She is truly passionate about dogs and very professional. Jessie loves to see her for some boarding vacations with Donna!
Donna was our trainer for a very rambunctious puppy. After a couple of sessions with Donna, he was walking on a leash like a champ. Came when he was called and did everything else she taught him. We are forever grateful to Donna.
My dog Jackson is 13 3/4 years old. He has several health conditions and has had 4 surgeries in the past year. I contacted Donna to come train him to stand with his back legs on a wave vibration board as this has been shown to be a potential benefit for his neuropathy & hind-end weakness, (caused by laryngeal paralysis). His front legs needed to be on a surface equal in height to the wave board. Right away Donna began looking at the set-up I’d planned and made suggestions on how to change it for his confidence and comfort. She worked with him and I to coax him to at least put a paw or two on the surfaces. Which he did. She gave me amazing tips on language to use, ways to get him accustomed to the process and homework for us! Our next session was 2 weeks later. Jackson was so happy to see her! Immediately greeting her like he’d always known her. This was a definite surprise to me! He is very friendly, but usually shy and reserved with strangers We showed her the setup changes I’d made and she approved. She talked again about using language and we landed on “wiggle exercise” as his verbal cue for the process. Pretty quickly he stepped on the board, repeating the successes of the prior session (even though we had failed to do our homework!) Next she coaxed him onto the entire surface - which he used to climb onto the couch (we all laughed!!) We worked more on setup, with great suggestions from Donna on space markers for his feet, how to get him to position himself in the correct spot for vibration to back back feet & legs. We practiced that a few times and she decided it was time to turn on the vibration and see how he would respond. She repeated the same process of coaxing him and he stepped right up onto the noisily vibrating board, with no fear whatsoever We were ALL blown-away!! We practiced two times with 1 minute intervals on the board and lots of suggestions from Donna on continuing on our own. I am using her method and Jackson has successfully completed his wiggle exercise twice since Donna’s visit. We need to work slowly to not over-stress his muscles and joints. I was amazed with Donnas knowledge and ability to make my dog instantly comfortable with her presence and instructions. I highly recommend her training services. Especially because of the complexity of successfully training Jackson to do this really unusual and potentially scary vibration activity!! Thank you Donna !! ❤️🐶
Moonshine is currently 10 months old. We have been working with Donna for a few months now. We liked the 1:1 teaching and never felt rushed. Donna always got back to us when we had questions. We now take our pup with us to some outside sitting areas and relax. I would highly recommend the Daily Dog.
Donna was very informative of Finnegan’s needs at our in home consult today. She explained the program that would best fit Finnegan for in home training. Highly recommend her
Donna is a skilled dog (and dog parent) trainer who takes the time to truly understand the needs, concerns, and goals of her clients. We feel fully supported and are never afraid to reach out for help and guidance. She is always there for us! Daily Dog offers a ton of valuable services so please don’t hesitate to lean on them for boarding and dog walking in addition to best in class training!
I need to give a big shout out to Donna @Daily Dog! When leaving our fur baby Bella at 7-months for our first time I felt comfortable and confident that she would be taken care of, safe, and loved in amazing hands. We did the 10-day training package to help us learn how to best communicate with Bella so she can be the best she can be. The updates and pictures during her stay were impressive and enjoyed hearing and seeing how she was doing. I was absolutely thrilled at how much Bella learned and how helpful Donna was at our pick-up training session teaching us what Bella had learned so we can continue this work at home. Look forward to our continued trainings with Donna!!
