I highly recommend Auntie Linda's to care for your sweet fur baby when you are away. She provides a home setting which makes Pugsley very happy. We would never want him to feel like he was going back to the kennel that he was rescued from. She has an amazing pet friendly and fun backyard for her visitors. Pugsley gets lots of love and even some lap time. He has so much fun playing with his friends and she is great about texting pictures and messages while we are away. Great communication and great rates make Auntie Linda's our first choice for our Pugsley. We have taken Pugsley to Auntie Linda's for over four years and we will never go anywhere else. You can see by the expression on his face that Pugsley also loves Auntie Linda's.
I have used Auntie Linda’s pet sitting for three years for our cat Rogue. She has baby sat Rogue for a few days to two weeks. Rogue has always been taken care of and dotted over. It has been a great experience and I have never worried. Recently, we had a family emergency and needed to leave town for a few days. I was desperate and reached out to her. She was still able to make accommodations and get Rogue a place to stay on short notice. She is amazing! I will continue using her in the future for our 14 year old cat Rogue when we take vacations
Linda is great and she will take care of your pet like her family. Our dogs had a great experience at her pet resort.
Auntie Linda took great care of our 3 cats for over a week. She was very accommodating and reasonably priced. She also sent us texts with photos and updates on how they were doing. Our cats looked happy and well taken care of when we went to pick them up and it was clear they had a great week! I highly recommend Auntie Linda's boarding service.
We have been with Linda for years, and trust our priceless animals with her. She deeply cares about everyone's well being. That being said, she is a pet sitter, and not a kennel. If your pet requires extra care, call her she'll gladly discuss what she is and isn't capable of.
This week will be the 3rd time I have entrusted Auntie Linda with caring for my fragile 18 yr old kitty girl. Frieda has a neurological conditionn and is losing muscle strength in her back legs, so can jump maybe 6 inches, and often loses her balance. Instead of the typical tall cat condo with many shelves, Linda came up with using a wide/long bunny cage, which fit her bed, litterbox and food just right. She always sends pictures and text updates on how she was doing; extremely soothing to a far-away purr parent. Her ability to be flexible to owners & pets is amazing! This week I'll be going for surgery, and I don't know if I'll need to leave her there for 2 days or a week depending on the outcome. Linda didn't bat an eye and said let me know when you know Frieda is always welcome here. Although she often has a mix of pets there at one time, her home is clean, friendly, inviting and happy. I told her last time I was there I thought she was undercharging, but she said I want it this way for folks who just aren't able to afford the pricier places. THAT is the kind of woman and caregiver Linda is. Absolutely could not ask for better!
Linda took good care of my rabbit while I was away for a month. She kept sending pictures of the rabbit regularly. She took great care of my Oreo (rabbit) and now he is back home. Definitely recommend her.
Linda is awesome! She took great care of our cat, and gave him a lot of attention!! She would send us a pic of him almost every day, and give us an update. Her rates are frickin unbelievable as well!!!
Absolutely not! If I can rate this no stars I would! Took my dog here she’s a girl. And this lady had already dogs there and released them to meet my dog and the male German shepherd attacked my dog! Absolutely not ok! Maybe next time you let your dogs meet a strangers pet put them on a leash. We tried to pull my girl away and her dog kept coming and with another right behind my baby, myself and my boyfriends mother were holding our dog and she was terrified! She’s terrified to even go in the car now because she thinks she has to come back to this awful place. I would like to mention Linda did mention she would pay for the vet bill but this not just about money my dog is terrified.
So glad I found Auntie Linda’s! I left my two cats under her care to go on a trip for three weeks. I felt no worries leaving them with her, and she frequently sent pictures of them. I recommend her and I will continue using her services! She is also very sweet. :)
If there was an option for zero stars I’d put that! I left my 3 dogs in this kennel over Memorial Day weekend 22. Apparently they are under new management. I would NEVER bring any animal here. They ask you to bring food in a tub for your animal. I bagged am and pm feedings individually for each of my babies and had them clearly marked and separated for ease of feeding. Two of my dogs have extreme anxiety and one of them has medication for it. The 100lb puppy was not fed over the weekend, has a scrapes on his nose from pushing on the lid, probably wanting food and is limping. Only one of the dogs feedings were gone. And one bag of the feedings from the other two were gone. When I called, the new owner, Patrick seemed like it was normal and wouldn’t even consider partial reimbursement and abruptly ended the conversation, hanging up on me. After he tried telling me my dogs were playing with other dogs through the gate- which is not a thing. My German Shepard is dog aggressive through fences. The lies came so easily for him. No compassion and doesn’t care about the well-being of the animals in his facility- just the money. I am appalled by the integrity of not only the facility, but him as a person. He is retired military yet lacks in integrity and it’s disheartening. Everywhere else is expensive but the treatment of your animals here isn’t worth the sacrifice.
We use West Wind Kennels for our two dogs whenever we go out of town. They have very nice indoor runs and on-site grooming, so our pups are clean and smelling good when we pick them up. They take excellent care of our pets, and we feel very comfortable with leaving our pets there while we travel. I think they love our dogs almost as much as we do.
My dog visited West Wind for the first time yesterday. We've always used a chain groomer before for convenience, but decided to try this company that's close to home. I will NOT be returning to the chain groomer. This is Bean's new groomer. They were very sweet and patient, but I kinda expect that from dog groomers. You don't go into that business if you don't like animals. Wonderful people, but what impressed me was the difference in skill. She was matted pretty badly from a winter of wearing a shirt and they untangled her shame, leaving her fur as soft and sweet as when she was a newborn pup. It's been almost 24 hours since she was there and she still smells wonderfully. I've owned cavies for about 15 years now and I can honestly say I've never had one smell nice the day after a bath, but she spent hours playing with us outside yesterday and still smells beautifully. I've never been so satisfied with a dog grooming in all my life. Thank you, West Wind Kennels. You'll be seeing us again.
Have taken my kitty there couple times now. Staff is good and felt like my fur ball was well taken care of. Will definitely continue going back
This place used to be so fantastic for my furbabies until they sold it a few years ago. If I could give them no starts now, I would. I no longer trust this place with my animals.
We have always had great experiences with the staff and our dogs. Very reasonably priced. Will continue to take my dogs there when we travel.
Love the new friendly family Owners & Groomers! Organized, clean, affordable, accommodating. Our Pups came back Spiffy & tails a waggin'! Will definately go back!
Tank and Maizie were in great condition and spirts when we picked them up. Good place for them to spend the weekend!
We boarded two fur babies and, as always, were grateful for the care given them. The only problem was that while grooming our babies, a nail on one paw was cut too close, so we will be walking with a limp for a few days.
Staff is very friendly. I was a little concerned since my dog is older and doesn't like strangers. I gave tips on how to approach her, since all dogs are different. The staff was very understanding and put me at ease. I would leave her here again.
