I had a work trip in Napa and my Fiona tagged along with me ... She went to Maranda Ranch Kennels each day and had the best time. She played all day. By the time I picked her up she would sleep all the way back to the hotel, eat dinner and go to bed. Highly recommend Maranda Ranch and their team of amazing Pawfriends. 🐾

We recently boarded our pups at Maranda ranch kennels. Our dogs got alot of attention and playtime, the staff is great. The added bonus for us is our mini aussie Sophia was born there and was part of Setters 2019 June litter. This past stay she was able to see and play with her sister Goose, who is still part of the ranch. We will continue to board our pups there in the future. Also many thanks to Marybeth.

I’m not gonna lie, back in March, I hated the idea of putting my little man in a kennel. But Maranda is different! He has so much fun there (pictures to prove it) and gets excited pulling up to the check-in area. Thanks guys for taking great care of Leaf and giving me the piece of mind an anxious dog dad has!

My dog's 3-day stay was a horrific experience! (Photos below). Her paws were so infected and swollen she could hardly walk when I picked her up. And she was so heat exhausted I had to stop the car on the way home to make sure she was still alive! When we got home she shivered for over an hour. It cost over $100 at our vet, which included having to give her antibiotics for a week. And, my dog is super-sweet and mellow but her brand new canvas bag that had her stuff in it was ripped and the handle torn off -- which no one told me about when I picked her up nor would they tell me about it later when I asked. The only thing they said when I picked her up was, "Bring more food next time; she was hungry". They only feed once a day (!) so I brought her extra meals but no one bothered to call me to ask about feeding her more (I would've been paid extra) because they were perfectly fine with her going hungry!?! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR DOG, only about your money. Maribeth the owner said she would call me back and she didn't even when she was told our veterinarian was concerned. My dog's favorite thing in the world to do is to go for walks, but her paws were such a mess from being there she didn't want to go for a walk for three days. Three days! She was traumatized and I was so upset it ruined my vacation. This kennel needs to be shut down!

This place is fantastic. My dog has been to at least three other boarding places and while they were all perfectly fine, he was always not himself when he comes home. He would act like a wild dog that doesn’t recognize the family at first and then would seem depressed and not want to eat until he was home for a few days. The first time he stayed at Maranda Ranch was for 2 weeks, longer than he’s ever been at any boarding, and he was his normal happy self when I picked him up. That alone makes me trust this place. He also had a bit of a medical issue while there and they took wonderful care him. He will definitely be staying there again when needed and I highly recommend this place.

This is a great place! I also own a kennel, so I knew what to ask about and what to look for. Everything was clean, the dogs were well taken care of, and the staff was wonderful. They made my vacation better by easing my mind and heart while I went on day trips. Thanks for taking such good care of my pups!

Amazing place to bring your pups and doggies! Our 3 year old has been going there since he was born, and I have run into friends out there as well. The dogs are well cared for and have so much fun playing on the trampoline or splashing in the kiddie pool on warm days. Maribeth, who previously trained guide dogs for the blind, is beyond experienced and has created a true doggie daycare and retreat. Every human out there is so kind and loving. Can't say enough about this place!! Ohhhh, and the best part might be that they do almost daily videos of the dogs so that you can watch them on Facebook while you are on vacation thousands of miles away!

I can't say enough good things about my experience here for day care for Bud. It is large, clean, and well maintained. The section Bud was in had her in an indoor/outdoor space to herself. She is a shy dog. Right outside her run was the large group play area with a water feature. It was shaded and quite large. I think this was the small dog section but don't quote me on that. I was so pleased I booked an extra day. When I picked her up I got a report of how she did. I always appreciate that.

Our vet recommended Maranda Ranch, and we could not be more grateful ! They warmly and efficiently care for the unique needs of our arthritic old lab, as well as our "crazy" young boxer. Our dogs can have time together there, but also space apart from eachother, and our boxer can run out his energy playing with the other dogs who are staying - so we found him a LOT less stressed out than he was after staying at other facilities in the past. I can bring in my own food with the dogs, but find it convenient that they will feed their own high-quality food at no additional charge. Plus, we got a small discount for boarding multiple pets at once. If that's not enough, it feels great supporting a local family-owned business.

The staff is incredibly friendly, there's animals to look at- a pig, chickens, cats, ponies, alpacas, and depending on the timing, you may even get to see new puppies waiting to go their new homes...if you need to leave your dog somewhere for a little while, I recommend the ranch...friendly staff and competitive pricing! Beautiful location just outside Sonoma, in the green hills.

We couldn't be happier with the system and staff at Vintage. Boarding our 5 mo old Labrador Retriever for 11 days gave her lots of new experiences and so many different dogs to play with while we were on vacation too. It gave us peace of mind to relax while we were away. She came home with improved obedience, content, tired out, and even more lovie than before! The communication was great and the experience far exceeded our expectations! We love Vintage Ranch and will bring her back for playdates & overnights in the future! Can't thank the staff enough for making the whole experience smooth and great!! Highly recommend!!

I have just become a client at Vintage Dog Ranch and feel compelled to post about my fantastic experience with them. The staff and management are incredibly professional, kind, and responsive. They have a whole system for dogs checking in and out and their friendly care for all of the pups is impecable. I am thrilled to be a regular client!

When you want your dog to have a vacation just as fun and energizing as yours… this is the place! Our wheaten loves it here when we’re out of town. She’s stayed more than a dozen times for anywhere from 5-12 days. Always ample communication from the team when necessary and there’s never been an issue of care or judgment. The staff and owners are trustworthy, caring for your pet just as they would their own.

We have been going to Vintage for many years. Our last visit was exceptional. Brian and staff (Mary) noticed subtle changes in our elder Great Dane and took immediate action, transporting him to our Vet 20 miles away in Napa. He had flipped his stomach (common with Great Danes), he got immediate care and emergency surgery. Our Vet noted many times that Brian and staff saved his life. He is home with us and recovering. We are forever grateful for the care and attention "Hugo" received at Vintage Kennel Club!

Dogs love Vintage because Vintage loves dogs. Simple as that. We have left our dogs a "the spa" for many years, during extended trips to Europe, and when we get back we find them happy, healthy, and perhaps even better than when we left. Vintage makes an extra effort to make sure the dogs hang out with comparable dogs and makes sure everyone gets along -- not always easy with our feisty Jack Russells. We are so grateful that a friend recommended Vintage many years ago.

We have two dogs and one is a high needs. They both get all the attention and care needed so we can leave them confidence! We even had a scare with our high needs and she was brought to the vet and received full care. You can't beat Vintage for qualify care.

Couldn't be happier with Vintage Kennel Club! Our furbaby goes for both day care and, when needed, overnight stays. Great communication, extremely friendly staff, clean and safe facility, easy drop off and pick up, and overall great experiences. Our dog knows the minute we turn on to the street that she is going to doggie camp and she gets so excited and can't wait! They even give little progress reports on their daily activities and who they played with. We LOVE Vintage!

Love this place!! We have been using Vintage for both of my dogs we have owned over the last 10 years! It is truly a great place to have your pups taken care of when you are traveling. Alway great to know they are safe/sound and getting lots of love from the amazing staff! Our new boy especially loves the new play area so he can be a party boy and do his zoomies!! Love Vintage kennel!! Have been bringing my dogs here for 15+ years. Owners are amazing-even saved my dogs life once!! We drive 1.5 hours each was so our dog can stay here because we trust Brian and Mike so much. And our dogs get so excited to go!!

Bonny Doone is so amazing. Our dogs have stayed here several times and love it. One of our dogs unfortunately passed away while we were out of town and he was at the kennel which was not surprising with his age and health issues. The kennel staff knew him well and were aware of his health issues and always took great care of him. They called us immediately and took care of so much and gave us beautiful condolences. I can’t thank them enough for being there in my absence.

Bonny Doone is the only place I will board my pets. Rhonda's team is exceptional at creating a safe and comforting home-away-from-home. I recently boarded my dog Shelby for 9 days during the winter holidays. After returning home, I called Rhonda with a quick question. Shelby was asleep next to me when the call went to voicemail. Her tail started thumping loudly on the couch at the sound of Rhonda's voice on the outgoing voicemail message. Just another reminder of the peace of mind I have with Bonny Doone. They're the best!

Rhonda, the owner of Bonny Doone, is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She took excellent care of my Cockapoo, and her expertise and attention to detail is exceptional. The facility is immaculately maintained, and even displays Disneyland-like bushes in the shape of adorable dogs! So, great, clean atmosphere, and caring, expert staff! A great value, and overall fun place for your pup!

This kennel was recommended by our vet, Dr. Mary (ret.) of Napa Small Animal Hospital, at least 5 yrs ago. I have been taking my dogs here ever since. My experience with the owner and staff has been great. They provide updates when I call and are very understanding when I call multiple times a day to check on my dogs. The facility is always clean and I never have to worry about my dogs being placed in unsafe situations as they don’t allow pets from other households to interact with your own. This is for the safety of the pets and is the main reason why I have continued to choose this kennel over others. They also use my preferred vet, Napa Small Animal Hospital, so I feel confident leaving my dogs behind knowing that they’ll be cared for by great doctors should they need it. If you’re looking for a reputable, clean, and safe kennel with professional staff, then I highly recommend checking out Bonny Doone Kennel.

Our Abby, a 22 month old doodle has been going to daycare at Bonny Boone for just over a year and we love the team there. The excitement Abby has when we pull in the driveway is a great feeling. The facility is clean, the team is professional and and if they ever notice something I may have missed with Abby ... such as she’s been licking her paw a lot, they let me know so I can keep an eye on it. Abby occasionally gets to spend the night and to be able to leave her and know that she’s in good hands is such a great feeling and removes anxiety about leaving her behind. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you!

We used Bonny Doone one weekend when staying in the area. Our hotel was dog friendly, so we dropped them in the morning, went out for the day, and picked them up at the end of the day. Very friendly staff and our pups seemed to enjoy it.

Took our Dexter to stay here for a couple days while we attended a wedding in Napa. Although Dexter is a little difficult to accept being at a kennel, Rhonda and her team made it all work out well. Thanks to you all.

Fetch has become my go-to dog walking service over the past couple of years. It’s easy to schedule dog sitters and I’ve been able to use the same two wonderful walkers, giving me great peace of mind. Robyn, the owner, is wonderful to communicate with, and I’m also able to communicate directly with my dog walkers. The status reports with pictures and updates for each visit are so thoughtful and appreciated. Fetch is the best. I’ll keep coming back! 🎾

We had the most wonderful pet sitter through Fetch! She was so attentive and her updates were charming and detailed and so much fun for us to read - and the photos were fantastic! We were able to relax on our trip knowing our kitties were in very capable and conscientious hands. Cannot recommend Fetch more highly.

Fetch! were a huge help when we were staying at Cavallo Lodge with our dog and needed someone to come to the hotel and stay with her on New Year's Eve. They found a perfect match for our pup. We have used Fetch Pet Care for our 17 year old poodle. Because of her age she needs a little extra TLC. Fetch has proven very dependable and kind with out dog. They kept us posted while we were out of town how she was doing and contacted us with any questions. Our house was left in perfect condition and we came home to a very well cared for dog.

We moved to Sonoma 2 years ago and feel so lucky to have found our petsitter Lois, through Fetch. She's reliable, caring and easy to work with. Our two older cats now require medication and Lois has been very accommodating with their changing needs. Most importantly, the kitties are completely comfortable around her and we feel good knowing we've left them, and our home, in capable hands.

We have been using Fetch for many year to care for our cats while we travel. It has always been a great comfort to know that the pets we loved were being so well cared for. The daily journals and pictures we received showed are cats as active and happy. The litter is always clean when we return. In addition, our plants had been watered and mail taken in. Once, part of a tree fell in our yard, and the pet sitter texted us pictures, which allowed us to schedule tree service as soon as we got home. Our current pet sitter is a delight to work with. We sometimes think our cat is disappointed when we return. In short you could not do better than using Fetch for your petcare needs.

We loved Ruff ! My Spinone, Zeppe went several times a week for daycare and he would start making happy noises miles away knowing that he was going to hang with friends. He went thru those doors and never looked back at me. (sigh) He came home tired and happy every day. Everyone so nice, all so clean, a great facility. HIGHLY recommend.

Dolce has a great time at her meet and greet and first overnight. She’ll be calling Ruff her home away from home when she can’t travel with me.

We’ve gone to Taylor Mountain for 2 years now and can’t express enough how this place is the absolute best. It’s our dog’s favorite place to go. He’s a dogs dog and hasn’t always trusted people. These folks work so well with him despite that being challenging sometimes. They limit the number of dogs they have so each dog gets real attention - your dog isn’t 1 in 100 like most other places. They also let dogs be dogs - they’re allowed to chill or play all day as they like and that was a must for us. I can’t recommend Melissa, Tracy, and the crew at Taylor Mountain enough for dog boarding. Trust me, this is where you want to go if your dog is your kid like ours is to us.

Taylor Mountain Canine Retreat is absolutely the best! From day one they have been incredibly professional and I never worry about Riley being in their care. They go above and beyond to make sure your pup is comfortable, happy, and loved. The camp notes for longer stays with the dog treat is such an amazing touch. I have never felt better about living my fur child with a boarding facility; highly recommend!

Our dog LOVES Taylor Mountain and they are so kind to her. It’s clear she is cared for while we’re out of town and they pay attention to all the details for each dog — which dogs they get along with, any behavioral challenges, etc. It’s easy to leave for weeks at a time when you know your dog is stoked to be going to Taylor Mountain. Love this place and I know our pup loves it even more than we do.

Five stars is just not enough! Your search is over- you’ve found the best boarding facility in Sonoma County. My boyfriend and I have been clients at TMCR since 2020. At the time we had just gotten a new puppy, Cooper, who was a little fluff ball of energy. With us both working full time, it was very important that we found a facility that could help support us in providing the best life for our boy. From daycare to overnights, we wanted to find a place for him that felt like a second home. When we first toured the property and facility, we were treated with the utmost respect and care. Melissa asked us numerous questions about our boy Cooper to ensure she truly got to know him and his needs. From day one, Cooper was in love. He was a regular Daycare guest 2-3 days a week and probably would live with Melissa and Tracy if they’d let him! Cooper ended up being a little bit of a sensitive boy when it came to his diet, his soft paws, and hot summer days. The team at TMCR made sure to go above and beyond when it came to accommodating these needs. They ensured he ate his special lunch we packed him for his diet, made sure to swap him from different play yards when his paws needed a break, and spoiled our boy with unlimited pool days, cold floor naps with huge fans ( this is a big plus for Cooper), and all the snuggles in between. We later bred Cooper, and kept his first born son, Murphy. Cooper and Murphy are now both TMCR clients. We cannot express our gratitude enough for the support, love, and care TMCR gives to us and our boys. Cooper and Murphy are our babies, and knowing that they are not only in wonderful hands, but having the time of their life while at TMCR, brings us peace and comfort that is truly priceless. I look forward to the life long relationship our boys have with TMCR and all of the staff members. While we are unbelievably sad to see the daycare side of the facility close, we find comfort knowing we still have TMCR for all our boarding needs. THANK YOU!!

Melissa & Tracy and the rest of the TMC staff are amazing!! I wouldn't bring my dog Maggie anywhere else! They are attentive, compassionate and treat all of the dogs there like their own! We utilize both their boarding and daycare services and Maggie always comes home happy and well cared for! Maggie is somewhat of a higher maintenance dog and the staff is always very attentive to her needs providing her medication when she is due and ensuring that her meals are prepared as she needs! Melissa has gone out of her way to prepare her special meals when Maggie has had an upset tummy or communicate with me any issues that may come up during her stay! Their facilities are clean, well kept, and the grounds are fantastic! It truly is a retreat for your furry friend! I will be a life long client of Taylor Mountain Canine.

This is HEAVEN for dogs!!! We had never boarded an animal before, and we dutifully checked out four or five other boarding places before being recommended to Taylor Mountain Canine Retreat. We are so glad we found them! They are in a whole other (higher, better) class from any of the other folks we interviewed, for the same or better prices. We traveled for fun, but I think our dog had a better vacation than we did! Tracy and Melissa LAVISHED our pup with heaping amounts of care, attention and affection. And, practically, when we arrived to pick up our darling dog, Melissa asked briefly for our presence, and she proceeded to clip the dog's toenails while we held our dog's leash and petted her. Two different vets had previously recommended sedation as the only way to accomplish a nail trim... The relationship these folks built with our dog in a short amount of time had our dog trusting and loving them enough to allow even the scariest task to become quick and effortless. No muss, no fuss, no worry, our dog came home shiny, happy and healthy. We LOVE Taylor Mountain Canine Retreat, they are absolutely our "go to" boarding place, pretty much forever. Additionally, we'll definitely be taking our dog to hang out and have fun even when we are around- she clearly adores Tracy and Melissa and being at TMCR. Thank you for taking such great care of our precious doggy!

Incredible place! The staff and ownership are extremely kind and knowledgeable. They are detailed in every dog's care and are very responsive via phone and email. My dog has boarded over single nights as well as for two weeks straight. She is always so excited to go into the building when we arrive. She comes back healthy and happy each time. I highly recommend TMCR!

Taylor Mountain Canine is the best spot to take your furry friend! Louise has a blast whenever she gets to go. Melissa, Tracy, and the rest of the staff go the extra mile. They get to run around and play all day, get their nails clipped, get bathed, and they get a report card at the end of their stay which I love so you can see how your dog did. I love knowing Louise is in such good hands!

Our dog Annie loves it here. Great people, lots of things to do at doggie camp. There are lots of dog pals for here for play and conversation or just relaxing. We have used many other dog care facilities in Sonoma County over the years, and Taylor Mountain Dog Retreat so far has been the best. One more time, the owners and staff are great, the play areas and relaxation areas are clean wonderful and with very clean & heated indoor/outdoor sleeping facilities. No better place for our Princess to play, socialize and relax, then Taylor Mountain. Blake B

Our dog Gatsby has had a couple of amazing stays here so far, and we recommend this retreat 1000 times over!! Melissa and Tracy and their entire staff run a very professional yet loving operation here. Our dog was a bit nervous for her first 4 night stay, but when we brought her back for a 12 night stay she was going absolutely bonkers and was so excited to see the staff again, and that's when we truly new that Gatsby is in great hands. The staff is very responsive and we loved getting pictures texted to us as well as seeing Gatsby on the Instagram stories. We hardly worried about Gatsby at all during our trip even though this was the longest we had left her. The price is very reasonable and competitive with the area, and a bath and nail trim at the end was very much appreciated! The very flexible pick up and drop off hours are awesome. No ridiculous upcharges to have your dog play unlike some other places in the area. Again, cannot recommend this business enough for your dog boarding needs!
