My dog had a medical emergency while in John’s care and I credit him with saving my pup’s life. You couldn’t ask for a better sitter in a pressure situation. He also communicated regularly during the stay, keeping me posted on how my pup was doing. Would recommend John to anyone who needs a sitter they can trust.
This is our second time with Jamie and she’s really a great sitter for our dogs . She’s a trusted person, smart. You can leave her your house and pets. Can’t wait to have Jaimie back next summer
Such a great family! George, Larissa and their crew were a fantastic bunch. Our large senior dog got an eye infection right before we left for our trip and so we had to ask them to do some extra eye care. When it was clear that it wasn’t getting better they were willing to load up Lorax and take him to a vet appointment and then apply the prescribed ointment for the next week and a half. Definitely above and beyond care that we really appreciated! Our house was left in great shape, our pets were super well cared for, and George and Larissa were great communicators. We have had many many sitters over the past 3 years but this was the first family. Nothing to worry about, they were terrific and we would happily have them back again. Thanks for taking such good care of our fury family and our home!
Emily and Chris were absolutely incredible house and pet sitters. They took care of our dog and two cats for 10 days and were some of the best sitters we've ever had. They took amazing care of all three animals -- giving medicine to our aging dog and managing to befriend our very shy cats on day one. We received adorable picture and video updates each day and it was clear that the pets loved spending time with them. Additionally they left the house in pristine shape and were incredibly diligent in all aspects -- bringing in packages, taking out the trash and recycling, etc. I can't recommend them highly enough!
We loved Misty!!!! She was absolutely the most perfect baby sitter for our dog and an amazing short term tenant at our house. Not only did she keep the house clean but she even washed everything she used before we got home. We even got a couple gifts from her. She is such a sweet human, kept in contact with us while we were gone and sent videos of the hikes and walks they went on. I would 100% ask her to stay at our house again
Jo & David were absolutely amazing sitters for our house and dog Rosie while we were out of town for 2 1/2 weeks. They are the best! Jo was super communicative and responsive at all times. She and David bonded with our dog, who grew very attached to them. They left our house super clean (and there were even chocolate chip cookies for us on our return)! Most of all, they are just super nice people and very easy to work with. Anyone is lucky to have JoAnna & David housesit for them.
Wendy sat for us on three occasions this Summer and I can’t say enough good things about her. The dogs were well taken care of and she was, organized, tidy, and responsible. It’s great to find a house/pet sitter that you can rest easy knowing everything is taken care of. We are hoping she will want to spend more time in the PNW!
Lynn and Ray were fabulous sitters, going above and beyond to take care of our home, yard, and rambunctious pup. Leaving him for three weeks was very difficult but we felt confident once we met them. They are great communicators, very professional, capable of handling any situation, and personable. Since they are fully self-contained in their van, they arrived a day early so we could show them the place, have our dog Bailey get comfortable with them (that was immediate ☺), and get to know them over dinner together. While on our trip, they sent us daily photos of Bailey, which we really appreciated, and updates on their activities. They took him hiking almost every day and kept him well exercised. Any issues that came up (e.g., our irrigation water ran dry a couple weeks in) they communicated to us and we were able to resolve them quickly. They also harvested ripe berries and squash for us and even harvested and dried tomatoes in our dryer. We spent our entire trip feeling assured that all things were being taken care of and feel ever so grateful that we found Lynn and Ray through TH. We returned from our trip to a house that was thoroughly cleaned (better than we left it ☺), with fresh sheets on the bed, and a happy dog. Five-star sitters for sure!
The two-leggeds and four-legged members of this household give Tess a 5-star rating! We think she's one of the best sitters you will find - highly communicative, friendly, competent, reliable, and great with pets. Tess was also flexible about start and end dates to accomodate possible winter weather complications. For this sit, Tess was able to bring along her mom, Cathy. Tess introduced me to Cathy during one of our Skype conversations prior to the sit. It was a bonus to have her here with Tess. Their travel to Marquette was complicated by weather. A fierce winter storm swept across Michigan just before the sit. It took Tess and Cathy two days to drive here but they arrived, as promised, in time for us to fly out early the next morning. We even had time for a lovely dinner together and to introduce them to the dogs and house. We left the next day and never had a moment's worry while Tess and Cathy were caring for our pets and home. Tess sent us regular updates and photos. The dogs immediately accepted them as great new additions to their pack of friends - even our cranky, old chihuahua, Nike! We returned to happy pets and a spotlessly clean home. We plan to invite Tess (and Cathy if available) to return for future sits. Thank you, Tess and Cathy!
Veronica House sat for us for a month. She cared for our two Dobermans and our cat. Veronica is so enthusiastic about animals. They immediately pick up on her joy and love for them. When some bold alligators made our dogs’ normal exercise routine unsafe, she was faced with the challenging situation of keeping two Dobermans with very different temperaments exercised and entertained in the height of Florida summer with its bugs, heat, and humidity. She met this challenge by taking the dogs for individual outings. She drove our young social dog to the dog park, finding the times when he would most likely have other large playmates and drove our socially anxious dog to the quiet areas of town for walks. This took a lot more time than our normal routine, but it kept our dogs safe and happy. A lasting benefit for us is that our younger dog, once a terror in the car, now rides much more calmly and our anxious dog, once fearful of what the car ride would bring, now happily hops in. Our cat was so content and well-groomed upon my return, it was obvious that she had been getting lots of daily attention, too. Veronica communicated with us on all the happenings with our pets and property every day. I came home to happy and healthy pets and a well cared for home. We feel so fortunate to have had Veronica as a house sitter and look forward to her sitting for us again.

I've had our dog back a few months now and have had zero issues with her behavior. Recently I was at the end of a marathon waiting for my party. It was a very busy, loud and confusing place for a dog. I ended up in the med tent and later the local ER all with my dog in tow. She responded to my commands correctly the first time every time despite the noise, distractions and my inattention to her. It was a very difficult day but was so much better than it could have been because I didn't need to worry about the dog. She was perfect the entire time. Thank you! Can not recommend Country Pet Inn's Training services enough.
If I could give another 5 stars I would. Country Pet inn exceed our expectations in every way. We brought our 7 month old Golden Retriever in for basic obedience. He is our first big dog, and we were a little overwhelmed when he entered his “teen” phase. Handing him off for three weeks was hard, however we put our trust in Tarrin and Shan and they made it well worth it. Tarrin was our puppies main handler, and we could not be more impressed. She put so much care into training our dog and he loved her. During the demonstration we were blown away by how well he was trained. How quick he was to react to such simple queues was so amazing to see. You can tell how much a dogs success means to this business and Shans lesson he did with us gave us so much insight to understanding our dog. We greatly appreciate the time Shan took to make sure we learned every command, and he made it so easy by being judgement free. Being comfortable with our trainers helps so much in our part of our dogs obedience. We cannot recommend Country Pet Inn enough. The price of this training was very reasonable considering how much time and effort was put in. Our dog loved the Kennels and being around other pups to play with. In the future we will absolutely use them for boarding as well. We can’t thank Shan and Tarrin enough!
We recently had our Vizsla dogs at the Country Pet Inn. They were there for 26 days for training. I was under the impression the owner/trainer would call or contact us with updates on the dog’s status… he did not; yet he got very confrontational when we called to check on their status. I was informed yesterday that his facility had an issue with Kennel Cough. When I called him to see if our dogs, which were vaccinated, got Kennel Cough he stated, I told you last week they showed symptoms. In fact, he never told us anything about the dogs were sick. When I asked if they should be on antibiotics. He said no, it’s just a cold and he said to quit calling. We went to his establishment an immediately retrieved our dogs. When we got home, one of our dogs is coughing and producing a liquid. We will call the vet in the AM to get appropriate medication. As a responsible establishment, he should have called us the second he was aware out dogs were infected. We would have asked to start antibiotics at that time. It’s also worth noting the temperatures were below 10 degrees. We would never recommend utilizing this place again. I will state the two female employees were kind when we called. Maybe the owner/trainer should take some lessons on dealing with clients from his employees Gary Roberts.
Beautiful setup all the way around! Owner and staff are friendly, welcoming, and competent! Whatever services you're seeking, they'll be met at the highest standard by people happy to help! I highly recommend Country Pet Inn and you will too after you experience the service you receive!
My girls had the best time ever! They came home absolutely exhausted and happy pups! I misunderstood the drop off times and Shem offered to wait for us to bring Sonny and Cher between drop off times. Thank you for doing that for us! We will definitely be using Country Pet Inn again!
We’ve been very pleased with the boarding service at Country Pet Inn. Recently we enrolled our dog in their three-week basic dog training, and the results were miraculous. Although our dog has been through other training programs, this one actually worked. He is calm, obedient and happy!
It was a lifesaver! Had to have knee surgery and needed somewhere to watch my dog for a few days and my normal person was not available. They squeezed is in and were amazing. The place is spotless and my dog came home very happy. Well worth the price!
There is no better place to board your dogs in Sheridan than the Country Pet Inn!! Family run, but has a really good team to make sure all the pets are good to go. :) We have used them twice now, and our dogs always come back still smelling great (they have come back smelling awful from some kennels - not a good sign), very happy and not nervous at all, and they sleep like normal when they get home rather than for 2 days straight, which means they're so happy while they're at the CPI! Shan is a dog trainer and really understands all of the dogs and their needs. We truly are so blessed to have found these guys and feel completely comfortable leaving our pups with them anytime we leave. Thank you so much, Country Pet Inn!!!
Disappointing experience. Partner initially booked online, but called twice leaving 2 voicemails to confirm booking and double check required vet records, received no communication back. On day of drop off they did not ask for vet records and his kennel had feces and pee they assured they were going to be picking up. When asked about the large dog run they advertised was told they only do it about once a week and could see it on FB. Never saw any videos posted to FB and upon return was told they do not take Nordic dogs on the run. So I am concerned our dog was not taken to any yards but left in his kennel. Our dog is also very constipated? There was some confusion about payment (thought we were able to pay over the phone though we also emailed them about this prior to pickup) and so our pickup person was told to go back up a hill to get cell phone service to call us. We immediately called 3x before anyone would pick up. They seem to only communicate via email and do not pick up phones well. I understand they are likely busy with multiple clients during pickup/dropoffs but overall very disappointed with their demeanor and will not be returning.
My pup GSD Dundee was trained by the owner and staff. Thank you so much for all the work you did with her. I will be coming back for guard training.
We were thrilled with the gals at Big Horn, they took great care of our 3 boys. I will be bringing them back for sure. They have put themselves to bed already!
We used Big Horn Kennels to care for our two dogs when we went to Yellowstone Park. Caroline and the rest of the staff took great care of them while we were gone. They are very careful to check health certifications to ensure the health of all their client's animals. Special instructions are documented in great detail to provide for the specific needs of each dog. Further, the staff are very personable and our interactions with them were very enjoyable. They made us feel very at ease since this was the first time we had ever boarded our pups. When we came back to pick them up, they (almost) didn't want to leave! I will definitely use them again.
Best Kennel we have ever taken our dogs to. It's clean and well taken care of. I wish we had something like this closer to home. I highly recommend!!
My Husband and I boarded our dog with Big Horn Kennels for several weeks and couldn't be happier with the exceptional level of care and professionalism. Will definitely be back. Thank you Kean!
These guys are great, they made our vacation possible. My pooches were supposed to be there 8 nights, but with delay after delay it ended up being 12 nights. Thank you Big Horn Kennels, you guys are awesome!
Great boarding with Keen.! Our dog loves to go to puppy camp. We always feel comfortable leaving her knowing she will be well cared for.
We have kenneled our dog here twice and will be doing it again when needed. The staff is fantastic and our dog always comes back to us happy and well taken care of!
Today was Elsie's first day and she had a good time I can tell cause she is exhausted. The lady's running this place are super cool to talk to and the place is clean and affordable per day for sure.
Big Horn kennels is the best place (next to home of course) for my hound dogs to stay. Owner/operator is friendly and knows dogs well.
They took great care of my dogs. It's quite an impressive facility. Very clean & wonderful xervice.
I spent four days trying to contact the owner to see if we can arrange my dog attending. I never received a response, although I emailed, texted and left a voicemail. My husband did receive one where the owner seemed dismissive about our dog all in the name of being selective. Although that may be the case, I found the lack of communication most unprofessional. And, it does hurt to see the snobbery against your pet...hope this changes! The business idea seemed so fun!
We have used the doggie daycare and boarding services. Superb!! So nice not having to worry about your fur baby.
We were visiting the area for three days and wanted an environment for Cooper that was outside play and homey atmosphere... We found it luckily ....at Lucky Dog Adventures.. It is disconcerting at times to leave your family member with someone you don’t know...however this was a great experience for Cooper and us..Jim likes taking care of our furry friends and is a good communicator with us... We received pictures of daily activities and feedback on Coopers stay...highly recommend this facility..𝒮𝓌
We were in Sheridan for a family emergency and needed one day of doggy daycare to attend a funeral. MGP was wonderful. I was able to easily and quickly register, submit health documentation, get approved, and schedule daycare online. The registration process was very thorough though. Their email replies to my questions came quickly which was so nice in the midst of all we were dealing with. I am confident that they put the health and safety of their clients above all else. Russet had so much fun at daycare he actually seemed to pout as we drove away. He slept so well that night from having such a good time playing. The report card we were sent midday was such a fun touch, and let us know he was in great hands. I wish we had a place like this in my hometown in Indiana that we could take him a couple days a week. I highly recommend taking advantage of this service if you are in Sheridan WY.
We took our Sadie dog for the first time to McGraw's for a two night stay. We are SO lucky to have this service! I felt at ease leaving her there, and got an update fairly quickly with a picture of her. Everyone is so caring and you can tell they know dogs VERY well. I will definitely use McGraw's Paws again! Thanks for everything!!
We love McGraw’s Paws 🐾😍🐾!! Absolutely everything was handled with genuine care, love, attention, and professionalism. Our three fur babies came home after a long weekend with McGraws happier than when we left 🤣🙌🏻! We have a needy Basset that required quite a few meds, and it was handled with zero issues. We will not only recommend McGraw’s Paws to everyone we know with fur babies, but we will return again and again to board. They’ve even got us considering Daycare for our pup, just for the amazing socialization 😆🙌🏻. Don’t hesitate checking them out and boarding with this business - absolutely incredible, affordable, and worth every penny!
McGraw's does such a wonderful job with my kitty. They send a report card upon first visit and will send updates on request. Very nice people work there, I'm not worried at all when I go on vacation.
Such a wonderful facility! The staff was amazing and they did such a good job with our needy dogs. They took the time to make sure they understood what our dogs needed for their stay and made us feel comfortable about leaving our dogs there. I would highly recommend them and would definitely take my dogs back again!
Had a great visit with Todd and got my dog ready to be checked in! You can certainly tell that they care about the pets that they are boarding! Wonderful experience!
My dogs are always taken in with great care. Easy online portal and extra grooming options. My dogs have been there twice now and I know they are in great hands.
My pup Oliver was having hard time adjusting to being in town, new apartment and being alone most of the day. Too many strange new sounds, people and having to wear a leash. A lot of people around town suggested McGraw's and when I brought him I immediately felt better and could focus on my new job, knowing he was safe and well taken care of. They have been super helpful and friendly and it has been a huge relief to know he's in good hands, and paws, for most of the day.
We have been using McGraw's Paws weekly for almost a year now. The staff have been nothing but amazing for our high energy, but very skittish, pup. With their patience and knowledge of safe socialization, my dog has come out of her shell and is easy to take in public now!
Can't say enough positive things about McGraws!! They watched our 3 miniature aussies, which are a handful alone, for a week. Took very good care of them & didn't just stick them in a cage, they sent "updates" with pictures everyday. They were very well taken care of!! & reasonably prices as well!!!
I took our two fur babies there in July for the first time. The owners were friendly and professional. From the moment I met them I could tell my dogs would be in good hands. When I returned to pick up my dogs, they were well cared for and they seemed very happy. I will definitely be returning for future trips.
I haven’t had a chance to board my dog Bodhi at the Home Away Dog Ranch yet, but hope to in the future! After contacting several boarders in Montana and Wyoming Carrie was the only one to take the time to call me back—even though she was completely booked for my days requested. I appreciate that she followed up with me and look forward to meeting her and seeing the ranch one day soon! With this type of customer service and care I will make sure to call well in advance! Thank you. 😊
We had such a great experience with Carrie and Home Away Dog Ranch! They took our husky Dakota at short notice and treated him like a rockstar. Facilities are spotless and lots of friendly dogs to play with. Dakota loved it and can't wait to go again!
HADR must be doing something wonderful with their guests. When we pick up our pups they are not stressed after a stay at the hotel. Stress was evident after stays at other local area kennels. Maybe it's the efforts of the family running HADR or the home made treats offered or the quality of the lodgings or the ability to roam. Likely it's all of these reasons. We recommend HADR for your canine family members.
Wonderful facility! Clean and very well kept. The accomodations met every expectation, the owners more than facilitate any needs your companions may need.
Dogs were so well taken care of and happy for almost two weeks. Meds and loves were capably and compassionately given!
I will never even consider any other place to leave my sweet boy. He was treated like part of the family, and I think he believed he was! Love it!!❤
Our hounds love it. Owners do a great job with their facility and their customers.
Wonderful location to board a dog!
The BEST!
