Lakeside Paws does such a great job making sure my Haven is happy while pet sitting. Being away is so hard but it makes it easier knowing she is being cared for by them whether walking or pet sitting. Ann communicates if they have any questions or concerns. We've used Lakeside Pet Sitting a few times now and we could not be happier. We've used a few different sitters from different companies prior to Lakeside and believe me, there is a clear difference here. Their sitters are fantastic- professional, compassionate, and great at communicating- which is something we really appreciate. We just had Danielle sit for us this last week and she was great- lots of descriptive text updates and pictures each time she visited. After requesting services on short notice (2 weeks before Christmas vacation), Hope, got back to me very quickly and was able to accommodate pet sitting for our 3 cats for a whole week. Lakeside Pet Sitting uses a website that is polished and professional and connected to a companion mobile app to post updates, chats, and pictures of your pets directly to your phone while you are away. Nina, was the person who watched our cats while we were away, and she is absolutely fantastic. She contacted us upon arrival and departure, and gave a detailed update of how our cats were doing and what she did to keep them balanced and happy every single day. She also posted several pics of our cats upon each visit. We were extremely pleased with the attention to detail and the care given to our kitties. I highly recommend Lakeside Pet Sitting, and definitely plan on using them again.

We are SO happy to have found Lakeside Pet Sitting - and our two cats are thrilled that they get to stay in their own house instead of being cooped up and stressed out at the vet's office. Hope and her team are phenomenal. I never have to worry while we're out of town... and I am super anxious when it comes to my meows! Marci has cared for my older Golden boy (Gunner) several times by making home visits. She's very thorough with his every need and any special request we might have for him. We have left our puppy Golden boy (Oakley) in her in home care for four consecutive nights. She met with us beforehand and spent time making notes regarding everything about his care. She was awesome with helping with training and socializing him with her own 2 yr. old boy (Kodi). Marci kept me updated with text and so many heartwarming pics and videos with both of my boys. I truly feel like Marci loves them as her own, and I never worried for a second about their care. We have actually already scheduled some daycare stays for the puppy because he had such a great time playing with her 2 yr. old boy! Marci is the BEST and I highly recommend her!

Zen Petcare is amazing! We have three dogs and had a dog sitter prior that fed and spent the night with our dogs but didn't walk our dogs. So I thought I would give Zen a try. I have to admit that I was really nervous about this change. However, let me tell you that I loved everything about our experience. Marci is very professional and thorough. She gets to know your dogs prior to leaving with an in-home visit. On that first visit she listened asked questions and took notes of our needs for the dogs. (love that we had to provide paperwork too about our vet ect...) This visit made me feel so much better as I could see her interact with the dogs. While we were away Marci sent texts daily of our dogs walking with commentary. Loved this so much. We have one funky dog and she was amazing with her. I never thought she would ever let someone else walk her but Marci did it EVERY DAY while we were gone. Not only is Marci a dog walker she is also seems to know animal behavior. So she understands how to handle our one dog that is scared. I also liked that Marci gave a quote before we left so that we knew exactly how much we owed. Marci's communication is outstanding before, during and after her visits. To me that was very comforting as I was nervous about this new experience for our dogs. The last thing I loved about Zen is that I could choose what I wanted Marci to do. You can choose from her website a menu of exactly what you want or need for your dogs with the prices so there is no grey area. For example, I could have her spend the night a few nights while I was away and also walk the dogs. Change is always hard as we all know but this was an outstanding change and we will definitely use Zen Petcare again! Kudos Marci!

Marci is so friendly and goes above and beyond to make certain our fur-babies are safe and happy. She is so easy to work with and very professional. She adds those little touches (behavioral training, getting the mail, texts and check-ins, etc.) that keep us going back to her for our pet-sitting needs. She was also ready and willing with any advice for training our new puppy- just to be nice and share her gift with others. I cannot say enough good things about our experiences with Marci and Zen Petcare. It’s such a relief to know our fur-babies are well cared for when we’re out of town.

Marci did a great job pet sitting Kona for us while we were away for our Son's wedding. She took Kona on walks, played ball, had her do tricks, brought her dog over for play time, and even gave Kona some chill time to sit on the deck in the sun. I know this because she shared multiple photos and videos, and sent texts updating me throughout the weekend. Marci was also flexible in working with our schedule. I would not hesitate to recommend Marci's Zen Petcare to others.

We have been taking our Lab,Murphy, here since he was a pup. We use both the boarding and the doggie day care. Murphy loves it there. As soon as he realizes where we are he is so excited. The staff are so good w him and showering him w love. They take great care of him. You can definitely tell if a dog enjoys going or not and our Murphy can’t get enough of going to Barks and Rec. Wouldn’t take him anywhere else!

My dog, Boone, has been coming here regularly. They post pictures on social media regularly and the dogs are very friendly. My dog always comes home very tired after a long day of play. They are able to do accommodations for breakfast and dinner and let them have their own toys. Definitely would recommend.

Poorly ran. Dogs were in crate most of the days they were here. No discount for placing my two dogs into the same crate like most boarding establishments provide, 3 day holiday requirement. The long list goes on and on. Mixed up our prescription food with another dogs food. Do yourself a favor and take your fur-babies somewhere else that will treat them and you better.

My dog loves it there and they love her. She gets lots of time to run and play outside with all the dogs. They have been gentle with her to get her liking baths better. I have used their day care and boarding regularly since discovering this great place for my dog.

This is a wonderful place to board your dogs. We board our older Beagles here when we travel, and I highly recommend them! They are so easy to work with, and I believe they genuinely care for the animals. Also, the cost of care is great as well.

Highly recommend. They very sweet people who clearly care about the dogs. It's fun that they take pictures and videos of the dogs that you can see on Facebook when you're away. They really go the extra mile to help our dog with her separation anxiety issues. She normally is afraid to go places but she walks right in to Barks and rec.

We've brought our dog Rudy to Barks & Rec once a week since we've move to town 2 years ago as well as the occasional overnight boarding when we're out of town. The staff really treat him as one of the family. He wags his tail when we get out of the car to go in and he's as excited to get one more petting from the staff as he is to see me when I pick him up.

I am so very thankful for Barks and Rec boarding. Last minute unfortunate situation caused me to leave for the weekend. I was told the staff here were wonderful and not knowing what to do I made my phone call and from the minute they answered the phone My fears disappeared. I have only the best things to say about Andrew and his team! I hired Cornelius Pet Care to watch my cat when I went out of the country for 11 days. The service was truly so amazing. Andrew is so responsive before hand and you meet who will be watching you pet before. Every single person who stopped by was amazing, did everything I asked and I felt like they all went the extra mile (special shoutout to Abigail & Donna). My cat was in the best of hands and my anxiety of leaving my cat was kept at bay with the daily report cards and photos. This was such an easy and wonderful experience. I highly recommend Cornelius Pet Care for any of your pet sitting needs. Thank you so so much!!

I hired them to watch my pets while attending a family member’s funeral out of town. I gave them the dates twice. They claimed to have written them down. When I returned home I had found my animals starving and thirsty, and feces and pee everywhere. I had to throw away a $250 living room rug. My children and I cleaned for days. When I confronted them about the situation, they stated that I gave them the wrong dates. I assured them that I did not and that they made a mistake. They proceeded to tell me that because I am grieving the loss of a family member that I was hostile and upset and that they would take no responsibility for their actions. Thank goodness my pets survived. They also blocked me from messaging them about the incident after I asked for reimbursement. Safe yourself the trouble and hire someone else for your fur babies! I read your response to this btw. Everything you just stated is a lie. None of that is even close to true. The lengths you will go to avoid accountability is disturbing to say the least. I hope no one else ever has to experience something like this from your business ever again. I would like to let you know that while you blocked me to hide the messages between us, I did take screen shots of all of them. I will see you in small claims!

Absolutely recommend Andrew and Carol Ann. They are super reliable and wonderful with all three of my fur babies. I love the updates and pics they send, really puts me at ease whenever I go out of town. All three always have a great time when they come by to visit.

Cornelius Pet Care LLC is an awesome company. I used them several times while I was out of town. They took great care of my dog Jax. I received pictures everyday of Jax. They even brought him snacks.

A neighbor recommended this sitter so I called and he had me go to his site and fill out a lengthy questionnaire, add CC info and setup a meet and greet. THEN he reads my lengthy bio and sees I have Rottweiler, calls and cancels the meeting. He could have asked the breed on the call and not wasted my time. If you fear Rottweilers you seem to be in the wrong business.

We've used Cornelius Pet Care for a year and a half now for our four fur babies (2 dogs and 2 cats). Whether we are a couple hours down the road or on another continent, we've felt really comfortable leaving our pets under their care. We get updates after each visit and we laugh at the pictures they take while on our trip. Their booking services are easy and convenient to use and they are always super flexible with scheduling to accommodate travel changes. Definitely recommend to friends in the area!

My husband and I are so happy to have found Cornelius Pet Care. We have 4 pups and they need to be walked daily/ let out while we are working. We trust Andrew and Carol Ann to come into our home and take care of our furbabies. They give our pups fresh water, change out potty pads and give our pups lots of attention/ treats. When I drop my pup at Holly's, it feels like he is spending the day with his aunt. The process of signing up, dropping off, and picking up is seamless. She provides the cutest report card at the end of each day and shares so many pictures throughout the day. I LOVE how calm she is and how all the pups wander around, sleep, and play as if they truly all lived together. This is incredible knowing his days are so fun and treated as though I was with him!

Holly is the best! Our pup loves going to Holly’s and always has the best time. Holly’s is one of the best places in the area to keep your dog. Leo has been going since he was a puppy and he always comes home tired and fulfilled. We've been leaving our dog in Holly's Care since 2021! He loves going to her house, knowing he's going to be playing with all his best friends while we travel for work. Holly's communication is second to none with consistent photo updates, pick up/drop off confirmations, and she's always been super flexible with us when our travel plans get changed due to weather and delays. I’ve been using Holly’s dog sitting service for daycare and boarding for my 2-year-old lab, and recently started boarding my 5-month-old lab too. Both dogs absolutely love going there and always come home happy and tired. Unlike traditional kennels where dogs are crated most of the time or placed in large groups, Holly's place feels like a second home for them. It’s far less disruptive to their routine, and they get the perfect mix of play, rest, and attention. Even though it’s a bit of a drive out of metro Charlotte, it’s 100% worth it. Holly’s rates are super reasonable, and her communication and flexibility are fantastic. She’s always accommodating, and I’ve rarely run into any issues with availability. I also really appreciate the frequent updates and pictures of my pups, which always put me at ease. I can’t recommend her enough—this is the best dog care service I’ve found!

Trigger is very happy going to Holly’s and playing with her dog and other pups visiting. She takes great care of him and he’s quite at home on her sofa. Nice backyard with a play pool. Holly is excellent with previously abused pups like Trigger.

Holly was excellent and very caring with our puppy! We are nervous new puppy parents and needed care for a few hours which would have been the longest we would have gone since getting her. After much research on our options, Holly handled all our concerns with her thoroughness and vaccination records of all the dogs she cares for. Her home was a great place for our dog and Holly was very communicative before and during the stay. Not only is she very knowledgeable, but just as importantly, she is kind and clearly loves the pets she has in her charge!

We feel so fortunate that we found Holly! We had just lost our two older fur babies and got a puppy. They were extremely patient with him and provided excellent feedback so that we could continue to train him. Holly stays in constant contact, sending lots of pictures all day long. Henry comes home happy and healthy. He’s excited when we drop him off and he’s excited when we pick him up. What more can you ask for! Holly loves these dogs like they are her own. Thiis was my first time away from my cat, Bear. I was extremely nervous because he had just been diagnosed with diabetes and needed insulin shots twice a day. I brought Bear in for his evaluation and he did just fine. His stay was for a week. I texted Pampered Pets a few times to check on him and they promptly returned with a text telling me that he was doing great. When I picked him up, everyone said that they enjoyed his stay there and that he was very talkative to the staff. I'll be bringing him back the next time I have to go out of town.

I’ve been taking my Morkie Delilah to PAMPERED PETS twice a week for daycare! She runs to the door with excitement when we get there! She loves the staff and the other dogs! Always making a new friend!

This was my first time ever boarding my two dogs. I was extremely nervous but the staff was so accommodating to my feelings. I opted for report cards on my pets while away for the weekend and I was given that information promptly. They informed me on their behavior, eating habits and how well they did with other dogs. I cannot express how much they eased my mind while my pets were away. I will recommend them to everyone!

I don’t normally leave reviews but I was very happy with my young dog Tuckers 2 night stay. It was my first time boarding him and I had to on short notice and they were able to accommodate. He is a shy lab but absolutely loves other dogs and outdoors but is very skiddish. He was nervous and scared in a bigger room so the staff called to let me know that they were patient and very thorough about moving him to a smaller quieter room, and detailing all about new friends he made. They reassured me they took it slow with him and although I know he was nervous I’m extremely confident that they made his stay as comfortable as possible and will be even better in the future. The cute pictures daily really help! <3

Kobe has been going to pampered pets inn for almost 2 years now, the staff is so welcoming and professional, they care about your pet and give the highest quality of customer service, Kobe does not like to be away from my husband and I for long periods of time but he always gets super excited when he knows its time for a spa day! Pampered Pets took such great care of my kitty boy while I was out of town. Although he was very timid since he had never been boarded, they took the time to help him come out of his shell. They loved on him, sent report cards, and photos letting me know how he was doing. I highly recommend Pampered Pets! We will be back to see their amazing, friendly, and caring staff.

We had some repairs to home so really wanted our beloved dog to go to daycare while workers here. Too full so had to board for few days. He was nervous and had trouble eating. They got my permission to add a choice of 3 additives to help him eat. One of them worked once but then they helped him more when still being weird , so they hand fed him! Worked! Dealt with my detailed meal combo instructions as gets dry food/ fresh pet/ n veggie n fruit had cut up. Thanks for the attention and allowing our particular diet he is used to👍❗️ ( Even put some calming scent on blanket to try to calm him when he was missing us! ) Thanks again The Haslett’s

My neighbor referred us to Pampered Pets Inn & both of our pups love it so much there I wonder if they actually want to come home when we go to pick them up, lol! They have multiple turf yards, play equipment & a pool. The dogs get plenty of play & outdoor time & are matched with specific groups based on personality & play type (ours are high-energy). We have 2 littermates which are allowed to stay together, but they play in different play groups which is actually a good thing! They keep a lot of records, including weight, & will call you if they have a concern about anything at all. Their grooming is amazing & their nail trims are the absolute best I’ve found! My Boston Terriers always smell great & have shiny coats when they have a bath there. It’s totally worth the cost for your piece-of-mind when you have to be away from your furbaby (they take care of both dogs & cats). They post a lot of pics & videos on their Instagram & Facebook pages every day. Our two even graduated from their training program! We all love Pampered Pets Inn!

I love this facility and the staff is incredible! I just wish corporate would one day get the message that their phone system is the most awful experience in the world and that first impressions are everything. Most of us don't like being transferred to a call center when we actually need to speak with someone at the facility. A.I. "Faith" should be fired. I have spoken to Grace, (who is very nice) in call center three times this morning while trying a make a simple request to a staff member and even she cannot get me to the local facility. Now I have to drive to the facility to request a bath for my dog before picking him up today...You can do better.

I have been going to Mooresville Pet Paradise for several years now. It is an awesome experience and my English Bulldog Beamer gets so excited when he realizes where we are headed. The communication experience is excellent. I have tried several other daycamps In Mooresville and nothing comes even close to Pet Paradise. Thank you to everyone there.

Boarded my dogs here for the first time ever and it was so nerve wracking to leave them in someone else’s care! There was a heat wave coming through while we were gone so that was scary, but my boys got some good rest and lots of play time with some water! The Furever Connected package was great and put my mind at ease while I was away! The first day was missed because of a miscommunication so the manager made it right 😇 There were a few bags of food left on days they should have gotten them, but my boys can sometimes skip meals so I chalked it up to that! Highly recommend to bring your fur babies here, they are in good hands! *EDIT: Forgot to mention that they called me since my dogs weren’t eating and offered to put some wet food or pumpkin on it free of charge to help entice them to eat. It was really touching that they went the extra mile instead of just accepting that they weren’t going to eat!

My pet loves going here for day camp! There is no looking back when I drop him off in the morning. He is ready to go. He always comes home exhausted from playing. The employees are professional and courteous, always willing to answer questions and assist. I highly recommend you give them a try.

We love Pet Paradise Mooresville location. Our Dogs are always happy to get dropped off and are happy when we return. I never worry whether it's for daycamp or boarding. (Picture is them tonight after playing in Paradise LOL)

I absolutely 100% recommend! I brought my dog there for a day camp from 9-5pm, and they loved Bentley like I do! They played with him a lot, tons of friendly dogs for him to play with, and he even took well to the comfy and cozy suites for a bit of a chill time. When I picked him up they gave me a report card and couldn’t say enough good things about my boy. And I had my doubts he’d be too rambunctious for them, but in return HE WAS AMAZING. My dog, Emma, is a 3-year-old Lab. We dropped her off at 4 p.m. I asked if i can see her actual room but the girl said she can’t its a company policy but she shown me a different room. The following day around 11 a.m., less than 24 hours upon Emma’s arrival, I received a call telling me that Emma, who is generally a loving dog, was aggressive, growling and doesn't want to be touched or go outside; then she stated that they will charge $20.00 extra for one-on-one care next time. I was worried the whole time while we were on vacation.. I had to call the facility everyday and I got offered to charge $10 a day for 3-5 pictures and a summary about my dog that day.. which I declined the offer.. The day I picked up Emma up, i checked my account and the total bill was $600 plus for 7 days. I called them and found out they tried to charge me for one-on-one service! And also, I purchased ice cream on her 2nd day she never got it because they ran out and they still tried to charged me! The first 2 pictures of my dog's teeth when we picked her up after a 7 day stay in this location. The last 3 pictures are after she came home and brushed 7 times. I never brushed my dogs teeth so often until now. I called to ask if they gave her anything different than the food we supplied and they said “yes”. When the dog is a picky eater they give chicken broth mixed with her food. I wish they have cameras inside dog’s room. This is not a good place to leave your pets. It is about $$$ not care & compassion.

Our experience was exceptional with boarding our German Shepard Sandy! The staff to wonderful care of her, she recently had surgery and needed a little extra attention and care and they did not disappoint! Huge shout out to Allison, she really went above and beyond for us!

Not happy about calling the facility to talk to a staff member and I get connected to someone over seas. I live 2 miles down the road and I’m talking to someone in India about my upcoming stay. Not comforting. Then when I went to Pick my dog up from the facility, I asked if they used a play tool that I left with them during her one to one time and there response was “I don’t know” Followed up with a generic report card.

We had the best experience at K9 Cabins! Our 4 month old puppy came back better behaved, smelling amazing with nicely cleaned bedding. K9 Cabins was happy to accommodate all our puppy’s needs with supplements and continued kennel training inside her cabin. We will definitely be returning in the future!! **With our previous dog who had been boarded in other places, we saw distinct changes in her personality and development of anxiety afterwards. With K9 Cabins, our puppy came back happy and actually seemed more calm and obedient. So pleased and thankful that we found K9 Cabins.

I have 4 dogs and they are all so happy to stay at the K9 cabins. their cabins are so spacious and they have a patio and the staff is absolutely amazing! Highly recommend.

Love this place. It's the only place my fur baby goes. She gets excited as soon as I turn into the driveway. The staff is awesome. They love their job and their clients. They are so busy you need to get your reservations in asap. Could go on and on about this place.

By far the best kennel we have ever had for our dogs in 25 years of being dog owners. The facility is amazing. The people truly show love and compassion for your dog and their needs. They meet the needs of each dog big and small. We have a dutch shepherd who most places do not take because of his energy level and he is right at home here. Absolutely exceptionally clean and well maintained building. Very homey feel. The very best in the business.

Took our dogs here as we had a great experience with our previous dogs. For us, it's a 45 minute drive to get here but it's well worth it. Our boys get their own little cabin. The whole setup is great. The staff love on their dogs like we do. Looking forward to returning.

K9 Cabins is the only place we board our dogs! The staff is knowledgeable, passionate and energetic. The facility is clean, diverse and entertaining. Whether it was boarding our old men (10/11 yr olds) or our rambunctious puppy, they fit their needs. Our dogs LOVE when we pull into the driveway! Not to mention they always come home with the cutest pictures and smelling o so good!

We are boarding our dogs for the first ever . They allowed us to come check out the facility and bring our dogs last Friday. Then we did a daycare stay for 4 hrs on Tuesday so they could get comfortable before we left them for several days. The cabins are very clean and the staff are super Friendly and caring.

We've been using K9 Cabins for the past five years or so with our two dogs. It's so nice to have a mom & pop run operation in these days of corporate run boarding houses. The staff is always so friendly and wanting to do their best for their clients. It's always a great experience to come here.

What a fantastic group of people. You can tell the owners and staff love what they do. My newest fur baby was a guest here. I could tell he was well cared for and treated with love. They offer a new service partnering with Lake Norman Pet Services for transportation. I used them to bring my little guy home due to scheduling conflicts. Karen was very kind and brought him home safe and sound. I highly recommend both companies.

We have used K9 cabins for 13 years. The staff is exceptional and they offer an "at home feeling" accommodation to your pets. We always know that our pets will be well cared for and loved while we are away on vacation. They are very attentive to our pets and spend lots of time playing with them. On one occasion one of our weimies had developed a medical issue after we dropped her off, they took her to our vet for treatment. That is the type of care and attention your pets will receive at K9 cabins. They are the best! Give them a try, take a tour. You will be happy that you did. We consider them a part of our family and will always choose them to care for our pets.
