I wish I could give Dog Camp LA 5,00000 stars - 5 just doesn't do justice for their one-of-a-kind company. When I started a new job earlier this year where I couldn't take my dog to work, I was panicking with how to handle it. After some research, my initial phone call with Brenda immediately calmed my nerves and she was able to accommodate us and meet the very next day. Since then, it has been nothing but smooth sailing - Dog Camp LA are my literal heroes lol. Each update from their trained, dedicated, professional and incredibly sweet walkers make my (and my dog's) day. They feel like family now and even when I have to book last minute or cancel with a shifting schedule, they are the most understanding and quick to support our needs: like just yesterday there was a small earthquake in LA and one of their amazing walkers came to check on my dog to make sure she was ok! I could go on and on, genuinely beyond grateful for Dog Camp LA.

Elliott at Dog Camp is super. He takes great care of our cat Mars and she loves all of the attention she gets from him. He sends us fun pics of her during their visits that show how happy she is. We and Mars are very comfortable with him. Thanks Elliott.

They house sat for us and we have a little terrier (a hyper dog!) and they were great! Trustworthy and clean. They even took our dog on hikes and wore her out. I would recommend them to anyone. WELL worth the peace of mind to have pros look after our baby.

My partner and I recently used a cat-sitting service, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the experience! The entire process was seamless and accommodating, from booking to completion. We had Griz as our sitter, and she exceeded all expectations. Before our trip, Griz visited our home to meet our two kitties. Both are usually quite skittish around strangers, but they immediately warmed up to her—letting her pet them and even rubbing against her legs. This gave us so much confidence that they’d be in great hands, so we booked a 4-day service. One of our kitties needs 3 medications daily so Griz visited twice a day to feed, medicate, and play with them, and we were so happy to receive regular updates with pictures and notes about how our fur babies were doing. These updates were such a comfort and allowed us to truly enjoy our trip, knowing our kitties were well cared for. We highly recommend this service, and Griz especially, to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and attentive sitter for their pets. Thank you for taking such good care of our little ones! Love the Comforted Kitty! Julia was amazing with Archie and Penelope….she even fed Penelope under the bed because my little scared kitty wouldn’t come out. Archie became a purr monster as soon as she came over. He loved her! Excellent, quality care. I never had to worry about them while I was away. Highly recommend!

I've worked with the Comforted Kitty a couple of times now and they are stellar every time! I never worry about my cat, Lewis, who has some medical issues and needs pills every 12 hours. The company and the sitters are incredibly responsive especially on their custom app, which makes it easy to update info about my cat's issues and needs. They are easily the most trustworthy cat sitters I've used! I highly recommend their services.

Jen K. did a wonderful job of looking after both my cats in April 2023. She addressed all their needs and took time to play with and entertain them. I especially appreciated her thoughtful and regular communication and all the many great photos she sent. The boys were very content when I got home. She really put my mind at ease while I was away and that means a lot. I found the Comforted Kitty pricing to be reasonable and their service excellent. I would happily recommend Jen and CK for your pet-sitting needs!

I have 3 cats and needed someone experienced and trustworthy to watch them while I was away for 4 days. The Comforted Kitty was exactly what I was looking for. I love that they want detailed information about each of your cats and that you can meet your sitter prior to the sitting. My sitter was Julia and she was fantastic! I could tell she loved cats and also had lots of experience. While I was away she sent me detailed updates with photos and videos. I felt at ease knowing my cats were in good hands. I will definitely be using The Comforted Kitty again!

I've been using TCK since I moved to LA and am so lucky to have found it! Jen is an excellent sitter who I trust implicitly to care for my 2 cats. She is extremely communicative, sends the funniest and most detailed updates, and the cutest photos. When one of my cats started off aloof toward Jen, she went out of her way to find ways to bond. I couldn't recommend Jen and TCK more!

I have five young cats who are all new to me, so I was very nervous about leaving them for an international vacation. As soon as I discovered The Comforted Kitty, all of my fears were abated. The process of setting up an account took a fair amount of time, which demonstrated to me how seriously The Comforted Kitty takes their responsibilities. Prices are a bit higher than other cat-sitters in the area, but this company is worth every penny. Our caregiver Shauna was INCREDIBLE. She sent me updates with every visit that demonstrated both how well she was getting to know my cats and how much she cared for them. I could see their happiness and health in every photo. Not only will I use The Comforted Kitty for every future trip, I will plan the timing of vacations based on Shauna's availability. I simply couldn't be happier with my experience.

Jen took wonderful care of my cat while I was away for a week. She did everything I asked and more. I was able to enjoy my time away and returned to a very contented kitty. Highly recommended.

I had never used a professional pet sitting service prior to this experience, but I was not disappointed. I hate leaving my pets, it makes me anxious and I always worry about them spending so much time without people around. Ericka did a great job making me feel comfortable prior to me leaving my two kittens for the first time for a week over Thanksgiving. Then while I was gone she did a great job following my directions and keeping the kitties happy, healthy, and engaged while I was gone. I got photos directly after each visit, plus I have cameras in my apartment so I could see in real time that she was doing exactly what I asked on each visit. Additionally, there were no hidden fees or surprises where the bill was concerned. I said exactly what I wanted, then got a written invoice that very clearly explained what services I would receive and for what price. While it is expensive, that was expected because of the upfront, clear pricing, which I greatly appreciated. Overall I was very happy with the experience and will not hesitate to use it again in the future.

Jen Kiddo went above and beyond in taking care of my 2 cats while I was away. She provided updates and pictures, and did a great job attending to the medical needs of one cat. Next time I need a sitter I will definitely contact Jen again!

Wagville is the best! We found ourselves in need of daycare and boarding for our little guy, and Wagville was an answer to our prayers. It’s been 2 years now and I am still impressed with how consistently amazing they are. Jill at the front desk is super on top of it and I always rest easy knowing that my dog is in the best of hands with the caring staff. They genuinely love dogs and go above and beyond to make your pups feel safe and comfortable. My guy was turned away from the first daycare we tried because he was too nervous. Wagville was so helpful in his transition that now he wags his tail when we arrive!

Couldn't even get an appointment for an evaluation.. there are soooo many hoops and obstacles to negotiate that its nearly impossible.. but even after i did everything they required, also more than any other boarding facility and without leniency on the Influenza vaccine shortage they refused to give me a review date until after the week after I needed boarding. Why make it impossible for potential customers to use your service?? especially when there are many other boarding options available in LA. I went to K9loft and had an evaluation the next day and a reservation for the time I needed.. sure it was more expensive but it was also hassle free. Wagville's list of requirements are a barrier and the woman I was trying to work only added to the the difficulty with to get this appointment. I made intentions clear of when i needed boarding.. and they literally gave me NO options but to go elsewhere. I don't understand how they stay in business, being so difficult.. good luck.

We take our dog here to board because he is a little too big to fly. They have a video feed that allows you to watch your dog during normal business hours. There are both indoor and outdoor areas. Our dog has spent up to two weeks there at a time without ill effects and he seems happy to check in. They have requirements for overnight stays, you need a valid dog license and up to date medical stuff to book a spot. They also have day care which we've never tried.

my favorite place to take my dog that i never get to take my dog to because they don’t let you drop off or pickup on weekends unless its for the whole weekend. cant pickup on sunday. cant drop off on saturday. also gotta call ahead for daycare which is sometimes difficult. that said, i love the indoor/outdoor openness, and that the dogs sleep out in the same area they play.

Wagville is amazing!! The staff are so caring and kind and I love that I can watch my pup on the web cams. My dog absolutely loves it and gets so excited when we pull up to the building :) so happy we found such an awesome place for doggy day camp!

WagVille is run by an excellent team. Everyone is professional and skillful and create a warm and playful atmosphere for our dog, Luna. We love the level of attention the dogs get and the nice routines set by WagVille. Your dog can play indoors with fellow pooches or outdoors in the wading pools. The webcams are such a nice touch and are well positioned. Any time we need a sitter, we rely on WagVille. Long term stays are no problem. Just be sure to call ahead because they are in high demand as they should be. Raving reviews only.

Left my dogs there for a weekend getaway. They have a camera/webcam where you can see them. Discount given for multiple dogs. A bit pricey than some other doggy camps but you get what you pay for. Service is awesome. Staff are very helpful and attentive. Will use their service again.

My dog, Emmie, has been going to OHD for daycare for about 9 months now. I have enrolled her in the day school training program for probably the last 3 months. I have seen a huge improvement in Emmie since she has started at OHD (and especially since starting day school) and know that she'll only continue to get better manners over time. She is always excited to get inside and I know she's in the best care in their hands. Thanks OHD!

We love this place! I can barely get my rescue to leave the house (she sees the lease and crates herself) but when I manage to coax her out, after a not so fun car ride, she freaks out when she sees where she's going. Their day school program is perfect for her as she needs both mental and physical stimulation. Thank you OHD!

The Team at OHD is absolutely the best!! They create the cutest videos and have a variety of services that we utilize every time we leave town. Our 13 yr old Rottie loves his interactions with all the dogs, his open play time and cuddles with the OHD Team. The love, attention and care they show our Atticus is why he 'bids me a fond and fast farewell' whenever he is lucky enough to spend time with this exceptional crew. There are tons of locations in So Cal that offer 'dog boarding and day care' but they simply pale in comparison. We commute over an hour to get to OHD and wouldn't go anywhere else!

I took my shy dog to OHD in 2022 bc they were known to be good with timid dogs. However, he didn't pass the initial test because "he didn't sit," which I found perplexing. He does know the command, but it's understandable he wouldn’t obey a stranger in a new place. It felt like they didn’t give him time to warm up, instead labeling him as needing extra training. They suggested a different program for him that didn’t start until later in the year, and I was advised to work on his training in the meantime. I chose another daycare instead, explaining his initial nervousness before our first meeting. They reassured me it was normal, and he's done great there since. The OHD facility seemed nice, and I believe they genuinely care about the dogs, but they may not be ideal for those needing extra time to adjust. I understand wanting the right fit to ensure safety, but in my case, their approach felt a bit too stringent. Feels a bit weird to review them since he never attended, but wanted to post this in case it’s helpful to others whose dogs have a similar temperament. 4 stars bc they seemed nice and I don’t want to mess with their rating.

I am beyond grateful to have came across OHD! My 2 year old pug is very anxious and nervous around other dogs off leash and reactive on leash. When I took her to OHD during her evaluation I was recommended a transition program for Nala and I had never heard of that at any other daycare. She did 8 sessions and on her own felt more confident with other doggies around her. Didn't think she would come around as I had tried many things. I would receive a report card after every session of her progress and pictures once a week. OHD has been a blessing and now when I drop her off for regular daycare I feel at ease she is in great hands. She recently had an overnight and the next morning I received an update on how she did and I was so glad she did great. I highly recommend giving OHD family a try

Been a customer since it opened with my first pup and OHD always went above and beyond in her care, especially in her senior years. We now bring our new pups here for boarding and daycare. There's nowhere or noone else in LA I'd trust their care and safety with. Just the best!

My shy girl Nala is starting to gain confidence and my wild puppy Max helps her out in day school. I love this place so much for my fur babies. They have the best time!!

My cattle dog mix, Marcus LaBarcus, loves spending time here. Seeing him get excited as I drop him off makes me feel so much better whenever I have to travel for work. He comes back happy and tired, proving once and for all that it is in fact possible to wear out an ACD. Cannot recco this spot enough.

Oh hello dog provides exceptional service. During the time they care for and love our dog, they have always been professional and responsible. The staff show great interest in engaging and playing with the dogs, always ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable time. OHD provides a clean and comfortable environment, offering all the attention and love that dogs need. Additionally, the staff regularly provide us with updates on our dog's well-being and activities, allowing us to work with peace of mind. I highly recommend this daycare and consider it a trustworthy place to leave fur baby.

* THE REVIEWS ARE REAL* About a month ago I decided to bring my pup to Oh Hello! She’s been home being spoiled for the last year so she wasn’t the most socialized puppy! The staff here took time to help her become more social and now she wants to play with every dog she encounters. I recently need to go out of town for business and needing boarding (they called it a sleepover 😂😂) not only did they keep me updated with everything going on the even catered to her diva eating habits (she’s very spoiled and won’t eat if it’s not what she wants). I know she loves Oh Hello because once we turn on the street to get there she jumps up and starts doing that cute dog wiggle the dogs do when they are happy! P.S. Most of the staff here drive Subarus and we all know Subaru owners love dogs!

Renata and Rebeca are amazing!! We left on a 10 day trip and we were anxious about leaving our dogs. With Marge (our new rescue), the thought of boarding her was depressing since she was fresh out of the shelter and just getting used to being in a home again. Rio Pet Hostel provided a comfy, more personable alternative to boarding. First, we did a meet-and-greet where we met Rebeca, Renata, and their pup Mandy outside their apartment. We then went into their place so Kevin and Marge could explore the environment. Kevin and their dog Mandy immediately started playing (Kevin usually doesn't play) so we knew it would be a good fit. The apartment is extremely dog friendly, complete with a dog teepee, pet-safe balcony and lots of toys. We asked lots of questions- the dogs are never left home alone, and Rio Pet Hostel is comfortable administering medication (Marge was fresh out of surgery when we had to leave so that was key). They also love bringing the dogs outside to the dog park or beach, so they aren't just sitting around with zero stimulation. When we picked them up, they gave us 2 printed photos of our dogs from their stay and a little gift bag of dog treats! It was so nice and adorable!! They are extremely flexible with pick up/drop off times, and the ability to pay via venmo makes things super easy. While on our trip, we received daily updates consisting of amazing photos and videos. It was reassuring to see that we left our dogs in great hands. I've attached some of the amazing photos we received from Rio Pet Hostel while we were away. They are seriously stunning- I don't think we will ever do regular boarding again. Rio Pet Hostel also provides daycare, dog walking, and home visit services. Check them out- you will not regret it!

Rio Pet Hostel Hollywood is a GEM! I can't believe I am so lucky as to have found them. My dog Daisy loves them - she gets excited every day/time she comes over! And she is one tired pup when she comes home from all the fun she has! I always get adorable pictures and videos so I know what Daisy is up to, since I miss her when I'm away! The girls always work with my schedule to help me out, and I appreciate them so much. I hope I never have to find another dogsitter ever! Rio Pet Hostel is NUMBER 1!!!!

I love my pup Anya so much and would only leave her with people I really trust. I’m so glad I found Rio Pet Hostel. Renata and Rebeca are so sweet with her and are great about sending pictures, videos, and text updates. Anya is a bit timid around other dogs and I’m glad we have Rio Pet Hostel to look after her when I’m away and also give her a chance to socialize with other dogs in a safe environment.

This place is AMAZING! I’ve had my little pup stay with them overnight for one day all the way up to 9 days when I went out of town. The ladies that own this business are nothing short of living miracles! They have accommodated me on short notices and when travel plans changed. They keep in direct contact with you through your pet’s stay with photos, videos, and text updates. They even gift you a little bag of treats when you come to get your little one. My pupper loves it so much there that she doesn’t seem to want to leave when I come to pick her up! 15/10 will use this place again! No need to look any further than Rio!

Renata, Rebeca, and Mandy took fantastic care of our dog, Dipper, with all their hearts, bringing him in like one of the family, if only for just the weekend! Everyday was filled with photos and videos of Dipper popping up on our phones for our own peace of mind. Dipper had a great time and came back to us as his happiest self. They even gave us a professional photo of him and a treat to go! 5 stars is not enough!

These girls are literally my lifeline. My dog (Maus the grey Whippet) is my most precious thing in my life and as I go away for long stints for work (most recently over a month) I need to have piece of mind that she is being beautifully cared for. Maus can't wait to go back because it's way more fun with them than with me!!! They take her in as part of their wonderful family and for that I am eternally grateful. Their prices are so reasonable and what you get is literally beyond measure. Maus always comes home looking happy, healthy and content. I couldn't recommend the Rio pet hotel highly enough. I wouldn't trust my pup with anyone else! John has taken excellent care of our dog both on walks and for extending sitting stays. It's obvious how much he cares for animals and the level of care is unparalleled. I tried a lot of other dog walking/sitting services, but it was only until we found Rawhide/Catnip that we could finally relax knowing our dog was in good hands!

I have a reactive (insecure) puppy that had been in 1:1 training for a few months. He was still very fearful of other dogs, and I reached out to Whitaker to try to get him more socialized. The evaluation was super quick, and he started day care the next week. Britt is great with scheduling and communication. I got updates about how he was settling in, and the pick-up drop-off service is fantastic. I decided to board him over the Thanksgiving holiday and he looked so happy in all of the photos they shared. To be honest, I feel like he was a little disappointed to come home. While he was there, Aimee groomed him for the first time and took so much care in getting Gus Gus to be comfortable. I can’t rave about the staff enough. I’ve seen a complete 180 in how he greets and plays with other dogs. If you’re considering Whitaker for a shy dog, I highly recommend!!

Whitaker dog day camp is the absolute best! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Our boy always comes home happy from his time there - we cannot overstate how much we appreciate Ethan and his team for taking care of our dog. Everyone is so nice and responsive, and one particular moment that stuck with me from one of his boarding stays is when the drop-off team member said "I played with him myself!" Having come from a daycare that leaves the dogs in a room to play with each other, this meant the world to me, as the folks at Whitaker take care to spend time with the pups and get to know them as well. They are also very responsive, and reply to any message I'll send them as soon as possible, as well as being accommodating. We greatly appreciate everyone at Whitaker, and look forward to more fun stays for Bonsai! :)

We’ve loved Whitaker while living in Echo Park. Our dog can be territorial but was always so so excited whenever he saw the Whitaker van roll up for pickup. The staff are very attentive and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend more!

Everyone has been so caring and helpful in helping to socialize my dog. She hadn't really been around other dogs and she's been having the time of her life at daycare and when she stays overnight with Whitaker Dog Day Camp. The best doggy day care in L.A!! Our dog, Bodhi has been going to Whitaker Dog Care for over a year and we love Ethan's services including dog boarding. The pick-up and drop-off is the most convenient! We now have a second dog and started sending him with Ethan as well about two months ago. They both come home happy and exhausted! Ethan is an amazing dude with a passion for dogs. He and his team have been taking care of our Border Collie since he was a puppy and they have a great bond. After some bad experiences with other boarding facilities, we always look forward to having Ziggy go with Ethan because we can trust him to take personalized care of our little guy. The pickup and drop-off is a huge bonus and takes a lot of stress out of leaving town. Highly recommend Whitaker if you live in the Frogtown / Silverlake area!

epi and his team are the very best. i love that they don't have just a big dog and small dog area like most doggy daycare facilities. they separate dogs into different packs every day based on temperament and rotate them between quiet, dark rooms for them to rest and the outdoor play area. my pup comes home tired and happy, but not completely exhausted at the end of the day.

We’ve been with Glendale Pet Resort for over 11 years. Our Champ loves coming here for play days and boarding. Epi and the staff are professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

The only place I trust with my dog. They separate dogs by energy level and rotate them around as needed instead of just small and big dogs. The owner Epi is very knowledgeable and a nice guy. They also offer overnight boarding.

The place is great! My dog approximately has been going to the resort for about 5 years or more. The staff are awesome the owner Epi and his wife are great! The owner also trains dogs. Highly recommended. 😁

I'm really at a loss for how this place has this many good reviews. Everyone I talked to seemed high and could barely hold a conversation, let alone communicate with each other, and then they would act as if I was the one who was unprepared. My s/o picked my dog up the next day and had the same experience. They handed over my dog on a leash and he asked if there was anything else, they said no despite me bringing in half a bag of dog food. When I went to pick up the food the next day, (besides taking forever because nobody could figure out that simple task), they handed me back a bag with 10ish kibbles left. I don't know the experience my dog had since they don't have the dogs visible at the door, but he was sick for the following week. I'm not sure if they just share all the brand's of food among the dogs staying, or if they seriously gave my dog that much food in one night.

I love the owner Epi, he really knows dogs and he is reasonable and respectful. We're feel so blessed to know our dogs are being cared for just as we would.
