Absolutely amazing visit with Jeff at No Dogs Left Behind, a rescue mission bringing War dogs home to recover from the trauma of war time . The facility also took in a bunch of poor pooches that suffered through a terrible house fire. I was honored to be given the royal treatment by these fine specimens of both the canine + human variety with a tour of the facility where they are given a new lease on life , one full of love + peace where they can recover from the trauma of wartime battles. I salute y'all, at No Dogs Left Behind + hope + wish for the best for you all.

Have been bringing our dogs to Maple Ridge for years. The kennels are clean and the people are so friendly and caring of your pets and their needs. Styles has been involved with dogs and training for years and this experience shows in the way he and his wife continue to provide this kind of care for pets.

Wouldn't trust my dogs anywhere else, they are always excited to visit. We are always treated like family here, I never worry about my dogs when they stay at Maple Ridge. Clean, safe, attentive and kind, don't risk it anywhere else.

VERY DISAPPOINTED TO HEAR NO DOGS LEFT BEHIND has/will be taking over management and the owners have aligned with the organization. Future boarders BEWARE!! No Dogs Left Behind cannot even taken care of their own dogs, how will they take care of a stanges?

Great kennel! Very clean, and there is allot of peace of mind knowing the family and staff are right there on the premises all the time. Styles obviously has a passion for bird dogs and your dog gets the same treatment his personal dogs do on the property.

Maple Ridge Kennels are owned by to of the best dog people out there . They have raise and train English Settlers for many many years . Their staff keep the dogs safe and well treated as well maintaining the kennel by hard work . The kennel is cleaned and sanitized every day .

We have taken our dog Rascal here for overnights and they have gotten to know him. We have no qualms about leaving Rascal in their capable hands. He is always well taken care of and we will continue to use them when needed.

I've never used a kennel before but they are clean and treated my Teddy very well he actually was excited to go a second time.

Nice people, very clean, my dog was not stressed (he has some separation anxiety), reasonably-priced.

I adore the staff here. They genuinely love the animals. I feel confident and comfortable when I leave my pup for a spa day. They're always asking the right questions to get all the info they need for my pup. I like the fact that they don't use hot air for drying my pup's fur. They use cool. It takes a bit longer, but it reassures me that my pup won't get a heat burn from a hot hair dryer. And of course, my pup always leaves with an adorable bandana!

I have no idea how this place has such good reviews. This is the worst boarding and grooming place we’ve ever taken our dog to. Boarding: He’s starving. We left him there for two days while we went to Montreal. All of the treats I left him are still in his bag. He hasn’t stopped eating since he got home. Grooming: This is not what we asked for at all. We wanted him to have the same cut but shaved halfway. He’s completely shaved. His ears are filthy. And his face looks so shabby. He also doesn’t smell good at all. I’ve attached pictures below. He was there for two days and he got what looks like a rushed job. Pros: It was cheap. Clearly you get what you pay for. I wish I would’ve seen a review like this one I would’ve never left him there in the first place.

Went up for the weekend to go to a memorial. Unfortunately dogs weren't allowed. Bows and Bandanas let us drop her off when we got to the area and she had a blast with the other dogs and absolutely enjoyed herself. We were very pleased with how they were towards her. She loved everyone there. Wish they lived in our area. The price is great and they are amazing.

I work in the area but live out of town, and Bows and Bandanas allows me to bring my dog with me for my 7 day work rotations. I was nervous at first because my dog and I never separate, but my experience has been great. My dog is always excited when we pull in the parking lot, and he is always clean, happy and healthy when I pick him up. They also allow me to visit him and take him out during days I’m free. Boarding him there has greatly increased his social life as well, and he has gotten noticeably calmer around people and other dogs. The people there really care about him, and are always a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend!

I took my cocker spaniel there today for the first time, after some glowing recommendations from a friend, and I am in awe. Incredible customer service, a fantastic grooming (at an incredibly reasonable price point), and the CUTEST little bow in her hair. (At the recommendation of one of their staff). Athena can be a little bratty with new people, but she clearly felt very safe and pampered by all of the wonderful people that work there. They've absolutely earned a customer for life.

Super affordable, my pup looked & smelled great. Definitely an experience for the dog as much as a haircut.

They took good care of my baby . She came home one happy camper I was very satisfied with the service. Very affordable as well. So nice to find some place that she can tell us at home.

I went in with an anxious dog which I expected would be common but apparently they didn't know how to handle anxious animals. The bath took maybe 20-30 minutes and they were done. They didn't try to dry him which also means they didn't brush out the loose fur. I went home with a wet dog. When I got home, he had so much lose hair that I had to brush him and 2 hours later his hair was all greasy again. I understand that my dog was anxious so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I went somewhere else yesterday (Russells Groom and Board) and not only did I get a full groom but they calmed my dog. When I came back 2 hours later, he was perfect and happy. He had no issues with the dryer. I explained to this place the same thing I explained to the other place and they handled it so much better. He was playing in their daycare playhouse when I came back. I was able to pay and talk and he was just laying at my feet as opposed to being anxious. In comparison, I am not at all pleased with the service I received at bows and bandanas and I will never go back. EDIT: My dogs name is Spartacus and we went on March 13, 2021.

I have gone here for past 14 yrs ,from pups to elderly stages, they always have spoiled them all. Now its Maggie's turn to add, she has gone from the time I got her till now, she super excited to go every single time, they are more than accommodating to her 10 mo old 75 lb of exuberance. I can't say enough about their wonderful care. Dogs actions are a good indication of how they are treated. It's good to see her come home and collapse to sleep after her fun filled days there.

Amazing my puppy loved it there it's a very friendly environment and the workers are very kind hearted. Everything is in well order and all the dogs seemed very happy. My puppy is one be wild and when he was there he behaved well and he was comfortable in the environment. This was overall the best place for boarding and haircuts for your pets

We love Bark Avenue! I take my two labs there once a month and Erica always does such a great job. One of my dogs is totally blind, so we don't let just anyone work with her. They are so sweet to her and handle her so well. On top of being friendly, it is always clean and smells surprisingly good in there. We will keep coming back for sure!

Erica does a fantastic job of bathing , trimming and dremmeling his nails for my my dog, Chance. He is part Jack Russell and part Beagle. His coat comes out so soft. Thanks Erica for fitting him in whenever I call. Marsha

Couldn’t be happier with my experience here. Because of the weather, I couldn’t make it for my original appointment and they were still able to get my dog in on the same day. They were very polite and professional, even had her done faster than estimated. She came home happy and beautifully groomed. Will definitely be back and refer my friends.

Habi (pronounced Hobby) is a shy old boy. He likes dogs, if they aren’t too barky and pushy! I loved the idea of him being able to perch his 18 lb 10 yr. old self in a comfy place where he could look out a window and stay out of the way of potentially raucous play amongst the youngsters of the pack. Glenn and Cedar made him feel very welcome. I’m so relieved that he could stay in a safe homey environment with the added bonus a walking trail and a grassy yard. Definitely a luxury canine vacation! Thanks Glenn! Habi will be back.

My young pup Fergus had a great time staying with Glenn! I was afraid he would have a difficult time adjusting to a new place but he seemed to settle in pretty quickly. Glenn sent me photos of Fergus walking alongside another dog, which warmed my heart and helped with my separation anxiety! Highly recommend!

Our dog had the best time at Adirondog Vacations with Glenn and the other dogs that live and board there. She was clearly well taken care of and we immediately could tell he loves dogs and is great with them. The next time our dog needs a little vacation we will be sure to send her here. Our Dog was happy and well cared for. Glenn was able to let us have her for a day to take into the Park as we were from out of town on Vaca. and our rental house did not allow for pets.

Update: June 2024 - Rocket enjoyed his 4th stay with Adirondog Vacations. Glenn was very accommodating when scheduling Rocket's drop-off and pick-up times. I always appreciate the pictures he sends throughout Rocket's stay. It is comforting to know that he is safe and being well-cared for during his stay. We look forward to coming back again next year! Update: June 2023 - Rocket enjoyed his 3rd stay with Adirondog Vacations. Glenn continues to have great communication and flexibility with drop-off/pick-up times. I truly feel at ease leaving Rocket there for several days and know that he is getting excellent care. Rocket is already planning his next Adirondog Vacation! Update: June 2022 - We had another wonderful experience with Adirondog Vacations this summer. Glenn and Cedar are gracious hosts and Rocket had a great stay! June 2021 - Glenn was super responsive and very flexible when I was scheduling Rocket's drop off and pick up dates/times. He answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease about leaving Rocket for several days. It was so nice to receive pictures of Rocket during his stay! I would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone and will definitely be scheduling another Adirondog Vacation for Rocket when we visit next summer!

Glen is very very accommodating. I feel so relieved when I leave Remy with him, and Remy goes berserk w/joy when I mention Glen and Cedar (Glen’s dog), as we travel to their place for the drop off. Great asset in the Adirondacks.

Our dog, Rascal, had never been away from us overnight until we left him several days to attend a family funeral on the west coast. Glenn did an incredible job making Rascal feel comfortable. He sent us several photos to ease our minds about how things were going. Additionally, he was flexible with ever changing airline flight information. Definitely a great place for a dog to stay when his humans are out of town!

My two pups loved their time at Adirondog Vacations. They spent a lot of time outdoors taking in the fresh ADK mountain air. The resident pup, Cedar, was a welcoming host and I’m glad my dogs had more time to socialize. I received photos of my pups while I was away which made me feel good to see them so happy. Would definitely recommend booking with them!

Loving Paws was recommended by a family member and surpassed our expectations! Sophie took great care of my two cats while we were away. She kept in touch with me to let me know my cats were happy and doing well. What impressed us the most was when Sophie brought a slow feeder and let us keep it because the cats ended up loving it! Truly a great service that genuinely cares for the animals they take care of. The prices of Loving Paws services is much more affordable than the prices of pet hotels around the city which was big plus! Highly recommend!

We hired Loving Paws to look after our three cats during a short vacation in February. The intake was very detailed and included an option to leave two sets of keys in the possession of the sitter and back-up sitter, which we did. We were surprised to learn that our primary sitter was a vet tech, which was great because one of our cats is diabetic and needs insulin injections. Unfortunately, our experience was not ideal— our sitter was unable to ensure our admittedly stubborn cat ate his wet food in the time they were at our house, so he missed several doses of his insulin (ultimately this was the correct decision on our sitter’s part, but the fact that the sitter was not able to encourage the cat to eat a sufficient amount and that extra time for this kind of medical complexity was not built into the schedule was not great. It was clear that the sitter had a tight schedule and this just didn’t work for our situation). My husband spent an hour per day of our time away coaching the sitter via text on how to work with the cat to ensure he was fed and medicated. Ultimately he only received 3/6 of his insulin doses. The sitter did communicate extensively with us but we did not feel confident that the care our cats received was up to the standard we expected. We feel that in a situation where there were no medical needs, the care would’ve been quite good, but due to the complexity of our situation, we felt our sitter/this service was not a good match for our pets. We decided to take our keys back upon our return and though we were able to get our keys back the next day from our primary sitter, we spent two weeks trying to negotiate a meeting with the back-up sitter. This was incredibly frustrating. In the end, we had high hopes and wish things had gone differently. I think we learned from this experience that our expectations needed to be adjusted, but unfortunately, were disappointed overall.

Loving Paws is a great service and I highly recommend them. Helen in Ottawa has watched over my two cats and if you can request her services specifically, I suggest you do. She provides excellent care, always lets me know the cats are okay, doesn't hesitate to ask questions if needed, and my cats are very comfortable around her (including my one cat who is not too keen on strangers). It's a relief to be able to go away and know that my cats are in good hands.

I have benefited from Loving Paws services since 2012. It is so easy, as a returning customer, to book a cat sitter when I have travel plans. The cat sitters come and care for my cats, but they also play with them and look after the house. The regular visits ensure my house insurance stays valid and I come home to happy kitties. I have recommended Loving Paws to many friends and they have all had great experiences too. Thank goodness for a business like this!

During several trips, my two cats have been well taken care of by a visiting sitter. The best part is reading the daily diary of how things are going no matter where you are and little anecdotes along the way. Since then, ongoing medical appointments every 3-4 weeks have gotten us through, and most recently, a couple of boarding requirements were arranged on short notice. The service is quick to understand the need and timely in its responsiveness. I recommend Loving Paws to answer to your needs in many ways. Please give them a call if you're looking for a hand with any pet need.

We are very pleased with the homesitting services provided by Loving Paws. We don't have pets, but needed someone trustworthy and reliable to check in on our home to water our plants and check the mail while we were away. Caroline did an excellent job and even ran our taps, flushed the toilets and checked for any leaks. This gave us great peace of mind while on vacation. Now that we know this company exists, we might even consider getting another cat! Thanks again Caroline:)

We had a very positive first experience with Loving Paws. Our caregiver Audrey was just lovely! She kept us updated about our two cats and our mail. She is super friendly and loves animals so much. I have used Loving Paws for many years now and they are great. Better than others I tried before I found them. Their Pet Sitters really care and take great care of my cats. My current sitter is Nick and he goes above and beyond the call of duty. One of my cats passed this last November and over the Christmas holidays I am usually away and I was very worried about my other cat being alone. Nick was so good with her and me. He took the time to send me photos of Brianna to show me she was OK and he even did an extra visit just to make sure she was doing fine. You will not find that kind of understanding and caring somewhere else. Price is reasonable and service is great. Can't recommend them highly enough!!

I have utilized Loving Paws several times now for pet sitting services. Excellent customer service from the admin staff. They are very courteous, professional, understanding and responds promptly to inquires. My pet sitter Naomi is caring, efficient and does a wonderful job with my kitty Simon. She cleans up my home of tracked kitty litter so well it was like I never left. Her daily notes are wonderful to read when I return home. She is a true gem! I would recommend Loving Paws and Pet Sitting to anyone who requires pet or home sitting services. I can leave my Simon in their care and feel confident and have peace of mind that he will be safe and well taken care of. I am happy to have found them!

My experience with Loving Paws was excellent. For two and a half years Stephanie came to the house every 3 days to administer subQ fluid to my cat who suffered from Chronic Kidney Disease. On occasion when Stephanie wasn’t able to come she arranged for Caroline to do the treatment instead. Both Stephanie and Caroline were great. Their dedication meant my cat never missed a treatment and I believe that is a big part of why he lived comfortably and happily until the age of 20. After I put my sweet boy down Stephanie stopped by with flowers from both her and Caroline, which I found quite touching during such a difficult time.

Definitely the best kennel that I've ever taken my dogs to in Upper state New York. Pick-up and drop-off times are not fixed which is a good thing because people have multiple schedules. I just text an hour before and my dogs are ready or even 30 minutes. Never had an issue on odd times I'm picking up or dropping off my dogs what makes it convenient.

My gf and I were up for the weekend camping on Wellesley Island, we brought the dog with us however we did have 2 days planned we couldn't bring him along. Russ was able to take my Caesar man on a Saturday and Sunday without any prior reservation or contact. Very accommodating, he was well taken care of in a new facility that was being built by Russ himself. Id recommend anyone vacationing up north NY to bring your pup along and let Russ watch over him while you go have some fun, where the family pet can't go. We probably called 15 different animal boarding places within a 1-2hr radius of our campsite on the Island and Joneseys was the only place open for Saturday and Sunday, cheap, no notice or appointment and Russ seemed to just be alright with anything you throw at him. Was a great experience.

My experiences doing business over the last 10 years with Russ have all been positive. Have gotten three of my Dobermans from him and if need be will get a fourth. Visited the kennel and very happy with everything I saw, but especially happy with a healthy, well socialized, well bred pup. Russ goes above and beyond to accommodate, he has lifetime of experience and knows his dogs through and through. He is always there for years to come to give advice and just catch up. What a blessing.

This is a great kennel. The owners are very knowledgeable and live right there on the property. The facilities are top of the line. The individual kennels are big enough to accommodate two large dogs comfortably and they have access to an outside portion of their kennel. I drive from an hour away to board my two Labrador Retrievers here and they love it. The owners are very accommodating for drop off/ pick up times, friendly, and respectful. This is the only place I board dogs and I’m confident anyone who chooses Jonessy Kennels will feel the same.

I needed boarding services unexpectedly and was so pleased with the responsiveness from Rusty and his willingness to take our dog for a few days with very short notice. Our dog had only been boarded one other time, and she did very well under Rusty's care. Highly recommend!

we've brought our girl there twice now and she was well taken care of! the building is new and beautiful. the kennel is a good size with an outside caged in portion for your doggie to go out in. Russ is very friendly and personable. he has alot of space there so availability hasnt been an issue for us and he is also very flexible with pick up and drop off times and price is decent. I loved that I was able to see where my dog would be living while I was away and the owner was close by. we already hate having to leave and board her but I'm happy that we can and be rest assured that she will be well taken care of! he updated us throughout the days and even sent us photos of her ! thanks again Russ!

Dropped off a perfectly healthy adult dog, and picked up a dying dog a few days later. Owner told me nothing was wrong every day when I called. After my dog lost 7lbs from severe sickness, I called to see if any other dogs were sick, and they wouldnt answer. The price is great, and now I know why.

Idk about joneseys, I've always heard it called monkey Hill. My dog is a big dumb sweetheart and when it's too peopley and chaotic we've always depended on the monkey hill kennel. Last time, I picked him up and he had been freshly washed. If he can't be with me it's the next best thing.

Great local place to bring your dog. I live a hr from here and wouldnt go anywhere else. Great people and take great care of my boxer! Honestly feels like she comes home behaving better then when I brought her. Love it

Customer service is out of this world! I was in a bind and needed to board DUCKS yes ducks and they went above and beyond to find a way for me even a pool for them to swim. The stress they relieved was insurmountable and I will always recommend them! Thank you so much!

My beloved dog Pretzel, is a frequent visitor to Russell’s. Kim, Eddie, and their staff, take such great care of her and all the pets entrusted to them. Pretzel can’t hold back her excitement when we arrive!!! Thankfully, she is also happy to see me when I arrive to pick her back up!

My happy, 2-year-old, black lab mix grand-dog loves this place! He plays and plays with other pups and is obviously very well taken care of while he is there. My son and daughter-in-law go 30-40 minutes out of their way to bring him here! I have heard nothing but good about Russell's Groom and Board!

I can not say enough amazing things about this place. Kim is amazing with the animals and her facility is clean, organized and exceptional. I am an extremely nervous and over protective "dog Mom". My baby is a fur child, and if we go on vacation I will not hesitate to board him with her.

We have been boarding our 11 year old lab with Hardscrabble Farm Pet Boarding for the past 6 years. The kennel is kept immaculately clean. Becky, who operates the kennel, has been totally awesome in her care of our lab Stanley, who has been suffering with arthritus for the last few years. Great safe place to board your pets! The owner keeps in touch daily during your pets stay with a summary of the day, including meal time, play time, and sends pictures. She is very fast to respond to any messages, questions, and check ins. If she is booked during times you have requested she will do anything she can to make it work for you. Provides notice well in advance when popular times are booking up. Highly recommended.

We boarded our standard poodle pup for a week while on vacation. The owners were very communicative & knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable leaving our four legged family member in their kind & capable hands. Would highly recommend!

First experience with our young and energetic dog was very positive. I was worried that our dog would get bored and be disruptive/destructive not having interactive dog play... but the personal attention and play experience was exceptional. I’m always 100% sure that when I leave my dog at Hardscrabble farm he’s getting the absolute best care. The kennels are very clean, Rebecca is on top of everything the dogs need, they have a great fenced in play area, and I know she treats my dog as if he’s one of her own…….You can’t ask for better than that!
