Mary has been there for us in the drop off a hat. My husband requires treatment in SF and we literally have given Mary just hours notice that we need her and she never hesitates to be there. It's nice not to have to worry about my fur babies with her. They're in excellent hands. And she sends me pics of them which cheers me up. She also goes above and beyond with specific things needing to be done at the house (specific lights on, checking mail, garbage can day, etc.) I highly recommend her services, she's been incredible.

Mary watched our 7 cats while we were on vacation, and she did an amazing job! I got pictures of all kitties each day so I could see that they were ok. I could tell that she was nice to them because in the pictures, they really liked her. They enjoyed her company very much. She also made a photo collage of each kitty for me as a nice gift. It gave us a piece of mind to enjoy our vacation. I would highly recommend and will definitely use her services again in the future!

We had Mary watch our cats and fish while we were gone on vacation. We are so thankful that we did. One of cat's became ill and Mary took her to vet for us, dealt with long phone calls and wait time. She kept us up to date on her condition through text messages and videos. She basically saved our cat's life and we owe her a debt of gratitude. She took special care of our ill cat and the others... Finding someone you trust to take care of a pet while you’re gone tends be stressful and difficult. I have a rescue cat who is a shy and nervous little guy. Because of his disposition, I didn’t want to board him and instead wanted to keep him home in a place he was comfortable and familiar with. Between his and my separation anxiety, I was really anxious about finding someone who would take care of him while my husband and I went on vacation. I am so beyond thankful I found Mary. Her initial house visit immediately put me at ease. We sat down and discussed everything, from the scheduled visits right down to every little detail. Her attention to detail and thoroughness of everything is really amazing. I wanted someone who would spend time with my cat instead of just “come to feed then leave,” so the fact there were options for the amount of time spend per visit was so appreciated. She also offered to take care of additional small tasks around the house while we were out, like watering plants and take out the trash, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful. I knew she was a perfect fit when she got a few pets in from my cat — without a single treat !! I knew he was in the best possible hands. Mary was so wonderful while we were gone. She sent pictures and video updates with each visit so I could see how he was doing (the photo uploaded is one she sent me). She was communicative, responsive, and professional, and I am thrilled to have a go-to sitter whom I truly trust. I cannot recommend Mary or her business highly enough. Thank you Mary !!

Our cat is very affectionate and likes attention and being around people at all times. She does not like being left alone. After moving to California 4 years ago, we were searching for a pet sitter. The Humane Society of Stanislaus County recommended Mary's Pet Project after hearing good things about her. She deals with all sorts of animals. My wife and I travel often, sometimes overseas, and need reliable visits to our cat. I was impressed that Mary maintains detailed files about every pet, including Vet and medication info if required. Mary texts updates, including videos of a kitty who is happy at receiving regular visits. She deals with all pet related cleaning, grabs the mail, and takes care of lights and other household adjustments. I would highly recommend her services.

Love this place! I started using them for doggie preschool for my newly adopted pup, and then began sending our 5 year old lab there for doggie daycare. I also use them for boarding! Susan and her staff are professional and put the needs of the dogs as their highest priority! My dogs both have separation anxiety, and even though they are scared to leave my sight, they flourish during boarding! I love how they provide updates and communicate with you about any concerns, if there is any. I feel great knowing the owners live across the street from the facility too, so they are aware of everything that goes on after-hours. Susan also runs a pet rescue: Pixie’s Dancing Paws and Pals, in which she has taken in dogs from varying circumstances and rescued them, and they are looking for their forever homes! I was worried about boarding my dog for the first time and Susan took time to listen to my concerns and even offered to take Chip for a few hours ahead of time for an evaluation. He did great and stayed 4 full days. Susan and her staff took great care of him and were very understanding and gave me an update every time I called I received his report card with a picture of what he loves to do, be in a pool 😊 I now have a fun and safe place to take him when needed. I highly recommend this facility!!

I’ve been looking for a good boarding place for my dog for a really long time, and all the time i’ve always felt uncomfortable, scared, & worried to leave him because my dog never likes it…. now THIS place, is absolutely amazing. I felt so comfortable the second I dropped him off and didn’t even think twice, they were so kind and reassuring that my dog will be okay and they’ll keep us updated if things happen. My dog never usually eats at other boarding places and always comes back skinny, not this time!! My dog ate all his food and came back looking so happy and healthy. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I really would. It’s so reassuring knowing the owners live right in front of the boarding building just to keep a safe eye. I 100% recommend this place and cannot wait to keep bring my dog here anytime I go on vacation. My boys just got home from their weekend long stay at K9s on the move. And they seem to have loved it! The service is wonderful. My favorite thing is they allow the boys to stay together , just like at home.This is the longest we've been apart from them and we believe they were in good hands. On our way home from Vacation we drove by and seen them outside playing together, which gives us comfort! My frenchie did not want to leave. Thank you to the team for taking care of our boys! Bonnie cared for our 2 dogs while we visited Yosemite. They were both super happy to be there even though they are very different personalities. Our older dog needed to be kept calm due to an injured hip and Bonnie did a great job. You can hardly tell she is injured. And our younger dog got to play to her hearts content! Thank you Bonnie for being here and providing a safe and fun environment for our dogs!

We boarded our Pitty with Bonnie just before Christmas for two nights while we explored Yosemite NP and it was a great experience. We were a little worried going in, as a few days prior to our trip stay our pup suffered a pretty bad leg sprain and we were concerned she might injure herself further during puppy play. Bonnie was awesome, and even sent us a couple of email messages during our trip to let us know that our dog was doing well, which we really appreciated.

Bonnie is amazing! She took excellent care of our pup! Great price and close to Yosemite. Our pup left happy! We will use her again! She even worked with out pick up times too!

So glad to have found this place. Left my pup, Milo here for 4 days while exploring Yosemite and he had the best time in the large yard and in Bonnie's care. Bonnie made me feel so at peace with trusting my pup in her hands. Great communicator, she had everything confirmed a month out and already has our booked for the next time we are returning. We did a last moment daycare when we were visiting this area for our doggo. The owner was extremely kind & loving. She took care of our doggo Milo very well & accommodated changes in our schedule very gracefully too. We felt happy & safe leaving our doggo. We 100% recommend this place

Bonnie took great care of our Josie. About 5 or 6 dogs getting along. When it gets hot, Bonnie brings them in. Both days when we picked up the dogs were inside, not kenneled just hanging out. If you want to do something and doggie can't go, this is worth the extra time and $$.

Bonnie is a very nice, trustworthy person and you can tell she loves dogs a lot. Your pup will be in good hands with Bonnie. We would highly recommend her!

I have been taking my dog there for six years. I currently have two dogs. They stay in separate kennels and this time when I came back both of my dogs testicles were raw like they were burnt. I asked the staff if they knew anything that happened to my dogs and she said no we clean the pins out daily. It may be urine, so my poor dogs been in pain for over a week trying to put Neosporin and I feel so bad because it’s gone up so much I pay hundreds each time they stay and will never take my dogs there again :(

I was very very pleased with the care my Momo received at the UPR 😍 It was my first time leaving him alone for a week and I was relieved to know I could call any ask about him 😊 he had a lot of fun and I was told he made lots of friends with the other cats! I will definitely be taking Momo back when needed. He was so excited to see me when I picked him up.

Our buddle of joy loves going here. He's made a best friend here. They always work well with us on boarding or day care, or accidents that happen at day care. The staff are great, Jason's really is helpful. I would give it 5 stars but their prices are getting a bit pricey for us. So we only do boarding with day care when we're out of town. You have options to bring your own dog food or you can buy lunch from your fur baby at the resort. When we need updates with pictures, they send it to us.

This is the only place I take my Bolt. He gets his own room, and I we I'll bring my other two when they are ready.

Took on all four of my Great Pyrenees for the same day as a favor. That is a lot of dog! Very reasonable rates.

Love taking our two German Shepard’s here when we go on trips. They get to run and are fed well. Only problem we’ve had is losing toys. They (dogs) take them into the common area and other dogs play with them and when your dogs go back in their kennel the toy is forgotten. Just make sure everything you brought is also brought out with the dogs when you pick them up. Fair prices for the area, and appreciate a free bath if dogs are there more than a week. Also like that there is a vet office right next door for emergencies. Good peace of mind.

This place is great! When we need to board our dog, we always take her here. The inside/outside kennel is great, they always make sure she is safe and the dogs around her, and never want to give her back. We can tell she is well taken care of.

I took my kitten there for a 3 day stay. The staff is caring and friendly. I left reassured my kitten would be well taken care of.

So happy they take both my dog and my bird! They did a little socialization test to see if my dog did well with other dogs and he passed. Makes me feel like he’s super safe there. Plus my dog absolutely loves going.

Not only do we love doggy day care, our dog Sharkie is always well taken care of and plays his little heart out with all the other dogs. Staff is always extremely helpful, professional and kind. Emily is a true animal lover. She understands that our dogs are our children and is happy to send updates throughout the day. My dog Josie loves to spend time with Emily and I just know she is well taken care of when she goes there. Comfy Paws has been taking care of our Sadie for several months. Sadie loves to go to Comfy Paws. We know this because of how excited Sadie gets everytime we drop her off. She gets walked several times a day and she comes home tired. Picture of tired Sadie included.

Emily is a great dog minder. She’s cared for our big dog many times. We never feel guilty dropping him off with her as he LOVES going there. She’s also super responsive and great at sending pic/video updates.

Emily is a God send for nervous fur mommas (and dads’) I’ve never left my little Ike with anyone but family, so I was very apprehensive leaving him when our entire family went on vacation together. We did a meet and greet with Emily and her fur family and I was put at ease. Throughout our vacation she sent me daily updates and pictures of Ike which made me feel so much better knowing that he was being taken well care of and loved. Her rates are more than reasonable for what she provides and I plan on using Comfy Paws for future drop offs and extended vacations. You can be rest assured that your pup will be absolutely well taken care of when they are in her care.

This was our first time having to board our American bulldog Stormy. I was very excited but nervous as well. Alexis and Dawson were so welcoming and took great care of my baby girl! The facility is welcoming and I was given the option to bring things for my dog to be comfortable or nothing at all as they had it taken care of. I will absolutely be using them again in the future! We left our dog Walter here whilst we went for a long weekend away. It was the first time we had left him since getting him and we were worried as he is blind and deaf. The lady we spoke to however was really understanding and reassured us that he would be well cared for whilst we were away. When we picked him up, he was really happy (and tired!) and she even gave us a summary of how he'd eaten and friends he made. Overall, a great experience, especially for nervous owners! We'll definitely be using them again next time we're away.

This was our first time bringing our pup to Darby's Pet Paradise and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our Shepherd/Husky mix is 7 months old so we haven't had her too long but we were going on a trip for 2 weeks and wanted her to be able to play and socialize while we were gone. They were very communicative and helpful from the beginning. And PJ was so amazing with our sweet girl. It took her a couple of days to settle in but after that, she had the best time and was cared for beyond what we could've ever hoped for. We will definitely be bringing her back for any future travel and hopefully they will be doing daycare in the future as she loved playing with the other dogs there. Great place to kennel my dog. Due to overbooking in my own area and a four day convention in the Modesto area I contacted Darby`s and booked. I was not disappointed. The 1st thing noticed was a mistake made by my vet of missing a rabies vaccine. I'd been in for shots the week before. Corrections made I arrived to a very clean facility. The conclusion was a early pick-up on Sunday with the bribery of two chocolate chip cookies from the hotel I was allowed to pick-up three hours early. Great facilities highly recommend .

I left my dog there this weekend and the facility was clean and organized. The staff was friendly and you could clearly see their love for animals from the way they treated our dog. I would definitely use them again. Our dig returned home happy and healthy.

Our dog Koda seemed really happy when we picked him up! It was obvious that he was well taken care of and not just locked up in a kennel. Everything was professionally done from check in to pick up! We know our pet who is part of our family was safe and well taken care of while we were away!

Boarded my 2 dogs at Darby's and one has never been boarded before. I was so worried about him but once he got here he was running around so happy. Picked them and they looked like they had a great time. Owners were amazing and took great care of my babies.

I tried using this boarding service . Let’s just say 1st of all they don’t seem to answer their phone during the hours they are open. I had to call a couple days in a row. Second of all I knew my cat needed to get shots but I almost noticed that on pet paradise site it says the shots needed to be done and after 48 hours so I asked on of the sisters if they could wave that? I explained my cat is a 100% indoor cat. She said don’t worry I totally understand we can wave it. The day I was going to bring cat I was at vet when I had called to make sure I could bring cat . The other sister answered and rudely said I cannot accept the cat. It has to be over 48 hours of getting shots. I explained once again the Vet even piped in why? If your cat is 100% indoor cat never been near another cat I don’t see issue. But to no avail. I’m sure they might be great with pets but when one tells you one thing and then supposedly questions her sister and her sister doesn’t cop to it makes you think. They are seemed to be the perfect place but everything is not what it seems! I understand the rules of what’s posted on website that’s exactly why I asked one of the sisters about waving that. I was told I must of miss understood what she said. I’ve been in business for over 40 years believe me no reason to miss understand. Thanks

This place is amazing and our four dogs feel safe and secure! Our last boarding place left our dogs scared, smelling like urine and traumatized! Other boarding places do not compare to Top Notch Kennels. If you want the best for your fur baby/babies please take them to Top Notch Kennels.

This business is Top Notch when it comes to training, boarding, accessories, and grooming for large or small dogs. Beautiful facility with excellent, quality boarding suites. I do and will always bring my best friends here. Absolutely I recommend this place. Locations in Modesto and Turlock.

I have been using Top Notch Kennels for about 1 1/2 years now for my two Malinois. One loves going there and literally bolts for the door to be taken back to the kennels. The other one is very attached to me and while she doesn't like being separated (there is never anyplace better than home) from me, they take excellent care of her and I feel at ease knowing that they are well taken care of while away from home.

My max stayed there for 3 days and when I picked him up he was so happy and looked like he enjoyed his stay. He usually boarded at another facility and when I picked him up he would be shaking although happy to see me. The staff here are so kind and you can see they truly care about the guests. I highly recommend and this will now be Max's new home away from home.

Love love this place. We drove out from Texas and had our dog Tango there for a week. Very clean and organized place. Very friendly and excellent service. Katie was the absolute best to explain everything to us. I will absolutey take my Tango there again. despite taking care of the dog, they do not respect the employees. They simply refused to pay for my girlfriend's workdays. They keep hiring people, send them away after a few days and forbid them from entering the establishment after that so they don't have to argue about their salary.

Pet Vacations has been THE BEST EXPERIENCE for our puppy Tucker since he was 6-mos-old (he's now 8-mos-old). He gets so much playtime outside with others that he would play well with (not all dogs are the same demeanor!) and gets so much attention from Owner Lindsay Stark and her staff. We are so, so happy we found a good place for Tucker to have fun with his friends and other humans besides us. Lindsay gave me daily updates for Tucker's first time and these wonderful pics. I went camping 4th of July week and while I was out of town, there was an issue with where my dogs were staying and I needed immediate help. I called and explained my situation with Pet Vacations and she was amazing with helping me out last minute and during a busy week. My two dogs were in a stressful situation and I was worried about the change of location stressing them out more but I was put at ease by the text and picture updates of both my dogs playing and having a great time. They go out several times a day to play and run and even got to make new doggy friends to play with. I will never use a different boarding facility again!

We recently had Lindsey at Pet Vacations take charge of our previously never left without us 3 1/2 y/o labradoodle. She’s our baby and of course we were very cautious with who we’d trusted with her. We met Lindsey at her location and she showed us around. Mollie, our pup felt very comfortable so we had Mollie do a 24 hr complete day at the board and care. Mollie came back in great shape. My dogs love going to Pet Vacations and the staff is always professional and caring. Over the years on the rare occasion when we’ve had to take our dogs to another facility, they are apprehensive, and show stress, especially if we have to take them to a place a second time. However, they are always happy to arrive at Pet Vacations and run right in the door!

We had a trip to Yosemite planned and found out we could take him on the trail we planned. Called up a day prior and they were more than accommodating for the 2 nights. Brodie seemed to have enjoyed himself. You cannot beat the price and convenience in respect to going to Yosemite from Sacramento.

This is such a fabulous place, so much room to run and play and when I’m taking Wilson here for his vacation and when we turn onto the road Wilson gets so excited cause he knows he’ll meet a friend or some friends for the time he is there. First time we used Pet Vacations. We have a finicky dog and hate leaving him. The person there when we dropped him off was really good with him and made us feel good about leaving him. They let him out to play on his own instead of group play. Our dog seemed fine when we picked him up when usually he comes out wining and crying like they tortured him.

We've been boarding out pets here for at least 15 years. We know that they're well taken care of and get plenty of exercise in the doggie play yard. Lindsey has been our fairy dog-mother through a couple of adoptions. Highly recommended.

DONT LET THE HIGH RATING TRICK YOU. i took my dog here while i went on a 10 day vacation after seeing the “raving” reviews. they neglected my dog after he sustained an injury while in their care, and didn’t contact us about it until he couldn’t stand anymore, hadn’t eaten in almost four days, and all they said was he wasn’t really hungry and his leg was “oozing puss” their words verbatim. they tried to downplay it over the phone and asked if we wanted him to take him to the hospital. to which we said yes go immediately. the vets said my dog couldn’t even pick his head up upon arrival and couldn’t even swallow his own spit and it wasn’t looking good, he was septic and in stage four renal failure at this point because of how bad the infection had gotten. my dog died four hours after getting to the hospital despite the aggressive life saving treatment and two rounds of cpr. they refused to take any blame trying to claim he had to have “come in already hurt” despite the vet saying the injury would have happened two/three days before and he was in their care for six days at that point. he even had a vet appointment check up prior to going to the facility (they do a full body assessment and would have noticed) and the facility did an assessment for him prior to admission and both saying he was completely healthy. i tried to peruse it legally but they said they have so many dogs it’s “hard to notice something like that”. all i can do is try to stop other people from making the same mistake i did.

CHECK THEIR YELP BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. THE REVIEWS ARE WAY DIFFERENT THAN THEY ARE HERE. This place did not notify us that our 6 year old Catahoula/Lab mix wasn’t eating or drinking water for two days (after eating and drinking fine for the first three) and waited until he was extremely lethargic and covered in his own drool and urine to call us and ask if we wanted them to “maybe take him to the vet.” The day before taking him to this kennel, he had a full physical and the vet reported good health. Five days later the kennel told us that our dog wasn’t looking good, and the vet that saw him told us he had an abscess from his paw to his shoulder (with necrotic tissue and in septic shock and kidney failure) and the also said there were injuries on the leg that occurred while we had him boarded (of which weren’t reported to us) which caused the abscess. He later died the same day- five hours after they took him in. We had to give the okay to euthanize him after being told they were attempting CPR, and we were told he only had a 10% chance of living. All of this happened while we were away, and from being initially notified, he died within hours. This place was straight up neglectful and killed our dog. Our sweet Remi is gone forever because of their negligence. We trusted the reviews and Country View let us down and devastated our family. Don’t risk your dog’s life, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! **I edited to add pictures, also to add that this is my sister’s dog and her story will be more accurate than mine since she got the information directly.

I am pretty upset and feel I need to leave this review. My dogs were there for 6 days. They all came home with kennel cough costing me money at the vet. My other dog was not given her medications because she gets temporarily blind when its not given to her. She had a ton of crusty green discharge in her eyes. Crashing into things. I had to put double doses at home and took her to the vet because she can potentially go blind. When we asked for pics they just said they were fine but only sent pics of one of the 3 dogs. Im just disappointed because I thought we had found a place they can be at when we need it but I am just not happy at this point.

I just wanted to take a minute to leave a Review on Country View. I have used this kennel on three different occasions last week when I dropped off my dog Sadie🐾 she knew exactly where we were going and got so excited when we got to the front door! From the moment I booked my first appointment the staff was efficient, polite, and patient with my hundred questions! Of course I was prepared and brought in all of Sadie🐾’s documentations. I would highly recommend using Country View kennels. It’s such a relief that when I’m dropping off Sadie and there is such excitement and confidence in her surroundings. When I see her happy not timid and she eagerly goes in! I don’t know about other dog owners, I always felt a little guilty that I’m leaving Sadie in a kennel not anymore! I honestly feel so secure that they’re taking care of my baby.

Such a lovely, nice place! They always make sure to communicate with me if my dog has any problems while they have him.

Such a wonderful kennel! Cory and his team are friendly, kind and helpful. I will definitely be leaving him dog here again.

I took my dogs here and i was very pleased with stacey. Her and her husband are nice people and you can tell they love animals. I will be sending my dogs to her again when needed, my dogs seemed happy to be around her and her husband. Thank you!

They are very sweet people and are great to my dog. Lots of space to run and play and well taken care of. I won't take my dog anywhere else.

We've taken our dogs to Kelly's exclusively for the past 12 years. Pat Kelly is a caring owner who really knows her dogs! The large outside runs are covered and shaded. They are always very clean.

We were impressed with the way she handled our two dogs and a cat. Very caring and they went for walks everyday. She doesn’t just ignore them all day, she keeps them motivated. We will definitely use her whenever we need to go away.
