Brian is absolutely amazing. This was his third time sitting for us and the dogs love him, he left the house immaculate, and is totally reliable and communicative. We can’t imagine a better sitter and hope he’ll come visit and stay in touch now that he has moved to the area.
Joe and Casey were very easy going and reliable. We organised the sit way in advance with a video chat and we had adequate communication leading up to the sit. We handed over the house and animals after a fairly swift explanation of everything. Being experienced sitters Joe and Casey didn't need us to over explain anything (hopefully they felt the same) and we could see very quickly that they were animal lovers. They asked us how much communication we needed whilst away and we said "no news is good news". So we received just the right amount of updates along with the most adorable photos and reassuring words about all the animals. It was clear that they quickly understood the character of each of the animals. We forgot to mention that Tipper likes to dig dirt beds around the garden which creates quite a mess and it was obvious that these were kept under control. The garden and pool were well cared for. We enjoyed a relaxing couple of weeks away knowing that the animals were being loved and the dogs definitely looked for Joe and Casey when we arrived home. Our pets, home and garden were well respected and cared for and we would not hesitate to invite Joe and Casey to sit for us again.
Jerry gets a five star in every area! We actually connected on the phone before he ever arrived but once he got here, it was like we known each other forever! He was very thorough and how he was going to take care of the dogs and the house!! very friendly with the dogs, and they immediately connected with him!! dogs know when they are💖💖 he arrived early so he could become familiar with Circus and tinker and the house and we had a meal together and quickly became best friends! He sent pictures while we were away and updates. Every day. He was gone by the time we came back, but it honestly looked like he had never been in the house. Everything was perfect just like we left it.❗️❗️❗️ so if you’re looking for a Pet Sitter that is reliable in every way, and you know for sure is going to take good care of your pets this man is the one you want to have come to your home❗️❗️ you won’t be disappointed and I can promise you that💖🎉
This is our second time with Jamie and she’s really a great sitter for our dogs . She’s a trusted person, smart. You can leave her your house and pets. Can’t wait to have Jaimie back next summer
Jo & David were absolutely amazing sitters for our house and dog Rosie while we were out of town for 2 1/2 weeks. They are the best! Jo was super communicative and responsive at all times. She and David bonded with our dog, who grew very attached to them. They left our house super clean (and there were even chocolate chip cookies for us on our return)! Most of all, they are just super nice people and very easy to work with. Anyone is lucky to have JoAnna & David housesit for them.
Great sitter and kept in contact regularly. Would gladly have her sit for my dog again.
Nicole and Gabriel were excellent house sitters and we would highly recommend them to anyone. Our dog absolutely loved them and she was spoilt rotten. The house, pool and yard were kept clean and well looked after. On a personal note we also found both of them interesting and great conversationists.
Hamsa was very quick to respond in all communication. She was prompt on her arrival and listened carefully to our detailed instructions about the house and dogs. While we were away the amount of communication between us was just right. When we arrived home the dogs were happy and the house was in order. A good sign that a dog sitter paid lots of attention to the pups is when we see a bit of depression set in after a dog sitter departs - this did occur after Hamsa left our home She is a very caring and nurturing individual.
I was fortunate to have Lisa as a sitter for my active, 7-year old lab mix (Ozzy) for a week in Bend. Lisa took the time to meet us via Facetime and in person before her stay. It was apparent she wanted to be well-prepared and aware of any special doggie needs he may have, or any help I needed with watering plants or bringing in mail. She took great care of Ozzy while I was away and sent me regular updates and photos of their outdoor adventures. I returned home to a very happy dog and a house exactly as I had left it. I'd welcome Lisa back anytime!
Ranji was a wonderful pet sitter for my dog Zoe and was very easy to communicate with and kept me informed. She took wonderful care of our condo and wouldn’t hesitate to have her in my new home in NJ if she wants to check out a new area.

Sophie and Pippa love spending their Thursdays at puppy camp! They are always so excited to get there and come home exhausted from a day of play ( Mom loves that!). Hali, my older dog is always well-loved and even the cats were happy ( as much as cats can be) when they spent the weekend. I really appreciate that doggy daycare is available 7 days a week, not just on weekdays. Everyone is friendly and loves on my pets. I know that Sophie, Pippa, and Hali are going to be well cared for and have a wonderful time.
I’ll start by saying that our two walkers we had were great. With that being said, the communication between the owners and us were lacking through our whole service relationship. The last straw for us was when we weren’t told our dog walker was no longer working for them, while our service was coming up in two days. We had to scramble to change our traveling plans. As we cut ties, we hope that ACPC will improve their email, text, and/or phone communication in the future to better build trust with their clients.
I used to be a former employee and recently got a puppy, my pup goes there all the time now! He really love all the employees and other dogs there. I can see how much he is loved every time I drop him off! 10/10 would recommend!
The staff is always so attentive, even though we aren't there every day, they always remember our furry loved one like she was there yesterday! They make sure she has all the things she needs to be comfortable and a safe time here! Our girl is excited to go and that shows she is well taken care of! The grooming services are great and a pleasure to come home from a trip to a clean and well taken care of pup! Thanks for all you do!
I’m so sad to be writing this review because I got along so well with the workers at AoC. I brought my puppy in for daycare and he seemed to love it after his first day. However as I brought him in for his second and third day, he returned with deep cuts on his mouth and face. I wasn’t too alarmed , since he is a baby, and younger large breed dogs tend to rough house. But this should’ve been my first indication that the dogs are not supervised. In addition , his harness and hankie were extremely dirty & his white chest was covered in dirt and loose hair. A day after his 3rd visit at daycare, My puppy could not hold any food down; completely lost his appetite, began vomiting profusely & had severe diarrhea and fatigue. This gave us all a scare and we rushed him to the ER where they ruled out Parvo (thank god) but concluded he had contracted a parasite or virus from another dog. The only place he would have got this from was the daycare which goes hand in hand with the lack of supervision I suspected along with a poor, dirty environment that isn’t properly cleaned or disinfected. I’m only writing this review to save other pet parents the scare of their fur baby getting sick, and to prevent the hefty vet bill. It’s really unfortunate but just want to let others be aware.
Tuddy loves coming here for daycare and boarding! The staff are friendly and communicative and the prices are reasonable. Thank you for taking such great care of Tuddy!
Cooper comes here often and loves it! I can tell because he is eager to get through the door and see his friends! I tell everyone we meet about All of Creation, I wouldn't trust him with anyone else!
Pro: my small mammal pet is alive and healthy. Con: Provided bedding for the cage to be changed at least one time during the stay, and requested that the bedding be changed about half way through. Come to pick up my pet and the cage is a mess. It is obvious they didn’t change the cage and bedding that I provided was unused. Also, the place smells really bad. I guess the $25 a day is just for the space and making sure there is water and food. I will probably just ask a neighbor kid to look after my pet next time.
I went to all of creation pet care thinking my dog would be coming out the same way he came in, in safe condition. They poorly informed me that Sachi (my dog) got scratched from rough playing and did not report to me until conditions have worsened (blaming it on hotspots). After speaking with the owner, unapologetically James tried to change the story to originally what the staff had reported to me on text. They did not apologize to me once about the situation and continued to blame it on my dog, if u have any questions or need proof of my situation I am happy to send u screen shots onto why you should NOT take ur dog to this horrible place. Save ur money while u can
James and his team are excellent with our dog, Louie. They help us with walks regularly and boarding. They are punctual, reliable, friendly and truly care about the care of your pet. They have a terrific system of separating the dogs into groups and they let the dogs play and have a blast! Highly recommend! A++!!!
We have used Paw pals pet sitting on multiple occasions for our bunnies while we are away. Many pet sitters are not interested in small pets however; Mary and her team, are amazing and we trust her implicitly! We are very happy with the outstanding service we have received from her team including texts and photos of our pets when we are out of town. They always go the extra mile and we highly recommend them!
Highly recommend as pet sitters! Initially, a sitter from the company will visit the house to meet the pets and learn where everything is. Tatiana took careful notes and we got her some spare keys. While we are away, Paw Pals sends sitters to come and look after our boys. They feed them, scoop litter, bring in mail and packages, and they will even manage trash, recycling, blinds and lights so that everything is comfortable for our kitties. Each time they check in, we receive an email message with updates and pictures, which is so comforting when we are on the road. Also, if you don’t let Paw Pals know when you are home, they assume something has happened and will continue to care for your babies. If something were to happen, I know they would be okay. Five stars for Paw Pals!
The folks at Paw Pals pet sitting are fantastic to work with. This review includes a bit of a long story but goes to show how dedicated they are to their job and the care they have for the animals they watch over. I reached out to Paw Pals, even though I live outside their service area, in a bit of a panic because our scheduled dog sitter for our family vacation suddenly wasn't available. The local sitters we've used in the past seemed like they wouldn't be able to accommodate us on such late notice and so we were scouring the internet for other options. When I submitted a request to Paw Pals, I expected to get a polite no thank you - you're out of our service area. Instead I got a call from Jen, who was so kind, helpful and accommodating and essentially bent over backwards to help set up a sitter for us. We met the sitter at her home and it was more of the same. So friendly and welcoming to our dog and fully prepared to watch her for two weeks. We ultimately didn't end up booking with Paw Pals, only because our local sitter had an opening that allowed someone to stay in home with our dog (who is a very anxious senior shepherd-collie mix). But just based on the limited experience I had with them, I would highly recommend Paw Pals. These folks are fantastic and I only wish we lived closer so we could utilize their other services on a regular basis. Five stars all the way!
I have used Paw Pals for several trips over the last few months, and they have been phenomenal every time! Mary is extremely kind and responsive, and she makes sure that my cat and dog have the care that they need every time I am out of town. All of the pet sitters that I've had have been incredibly sweet to my pets, and they treat them like their own! Will gladly continue using Paw Pals every time I need a sitter.
We used Paw Pals for our two cats during the holidays (2 weeks). Our experience was absolutely amazing! From the amazing communication we had with the Paw Pals team and the cat sitters to the amazing job they did with our cats. One of our cats has always been reluctant to meet new people but after these two weeks she's now the first to greet anyone! I love the updates with pictures you get after each visit which is something I always looked forward to while missing our cats. Part of our holiday included being on a cruiseship which left us with very little internet connectivity but at no point did I feel the need to worry as we knew our cats were in great hands. If you need a cat sitter I'd look no further than Paw Pals. I highly recommend them.
We have been using Paw Pals for several years, and through a variety of pets that we have loved. Mary and her team have always been *exceptional* in every way. They are professional, courteous, and truly love our fur family! Mary herself is an organized and stellar administrator of her pet care business, keeping detailed records of our pet’s needs, scheduled pet visits, payments, and balance due easy to keep track of as the pet owner. The pet caretaking team is reliable and trustworthy. When our dogs see any of their Paw Pal friends, they get SO excited to see them! Follow up comments are left via text to keep the pet owner informed of the visit and how the pets are faring. Paw Pals has allowed our family the peace of mind to leave our pets at home, for work, weekend getaways and longer times away when necessary, where they are the most comfortable and familiar. We are grateful to Mary and her team for giving us the ability to enjoy pet ownership without feeling tied down. The responsibility of having pets comes with the need to keep them safe and comfortable at all times, and Mary and her team affords us this when our family has to be away.
Mary and her Paw Pals team are amazing!!! They have taken amazing care of my cats for several years and have always made me feel comfortable and confident that my kitties would be well cared for!!! And when my oldest cat needed special TLC which meant multiple visits a day, multiple medicines with special directions and sub-q fluids, Paw Pals took extra special care of her and always kept me informed of how she was doing with every visit!! I can’t say enough!! I also recommended Paw Pals to friends who are also now regular clients with Paw Pals!!!
I hired Paw Pals based on my sister’s referral. Meet & greet was very thorough and detailed. I was surprised that my finicky cat came to check the sitter out. Subsequently, a sitter watched my cat over several separate visits, and it was clear through the visit reports that my cat loved the sitter. All the visits were completed having followed my directions & with professionalism. I would highly recommend Paw Pals to anyone who’s looking for a dependable, personable, & professional sitter.
Very positive experience working with Paw Pals Pet Siting. Owner, Mary Telesz, came to our home to meet our pets and get accustomed to their daily routine. When we were away she sent updates and pictures to let us know they were doing well. She informed us when she was introducing a new pet sitter through the business for the following days of our vacation, and the sitter left us detailed remarks. Overall recommend and will use Paws Pals Pet Siting in the future.
We are so grateful we found Mary and her team at Paw Pals. They are exceptionally responsive, amazingly organized and detail-oriented. We have such peace of mind when we travel knowing our home and pets are so well cared for. Paw Pals is the best pet sitting service we’ve used, and we’re so happy we found them.
I would 100% recommend Dogtopia of Dulles. We went for 4+ years for our dog Bear. They were always so caring and loving towards Bear whenever we were there for boarding or weekly daycare. They understood her temperament as Bear got older and knew when she needed some time to self to rest.
The Staff is ok, not the friendliest (or the worst). 1) They charge a $20 fee for the eval which they only mentioned after my dog was taken for her evaluation (all the other daycares offer free eval and/or free first day). 2) I was surprised when they said they don't take the dogs out for walks (all the other daycares do), they simply clean up after the dogs when they go potty in the facility. 3.a) The person who took my dog for her evaluation was a little too serious, her energy was not as joyful and peppy as usual dog caretakers are. Unfortunately, her energy put off my dog's sense of security and made her tense during her evaluation, she was shy, didn't want to interact with the other dog, and lashed out at the 2nd dog that was let into the room. Needless to say, she failed her eval at Dogtopia, which is understandable given my dog's reaction. 3.b) However, I must point out that the following Monday she had another eval at Dog Tales Daycare (Chantilly), the staff there were so friendly towards my dog that she felt safe enough not to feel insecure. Contrary to Dogtopia (Chantilly), thanks to the DTD staff's genuine warm friendly demeanor, willingness to be patient, and allowing enough time for her to get comfortable to give her a real chance for a proper assessment, she was able to pass! (Ps: at DTD the Eval and first day are free, plus they walk the dogs) Back to Dogtopia, the evaluator made me feel like she didn't believe me when I said my dog went to other daycares because of her reaction during her evaluation. I was told my dog was anti-social and didn't seem to like any dogs at all. In the end I was told, "If she does fine at the other daycares its best she stay there". I can't believe I got charged $20 for a 15-minute failed assessment!! Dogtopia Zero stars if it were possible.
I had been taking my two dogs to Dogtopia Dulles for a number of years. However, last month, when I dropped my them off, it would be the last time that I saw one of them alive. Four days into his stay, I received a call that he was found to be "vomiting" blood. My emergency contact was more than an hour away and when I asked if they could take him to an emergency vet the response was "there are 60 dogs here and I am the only person here." My emergency contact took him to our vet who said that that coughing up blood should not have been the first symptom of bacterial pneumonia. Unfortunately, at that point he was too severely sick to recover and passed away later that afternoon. My other dog will not be returning.
Everything! They make me feel like family. I have zero worries when drop my Doberman Cairan off for daycare. The Friday date night hours are a nice touch. It shows they know their clients and work to make every accommodation possible. if you love your dogs like family, you can't do better than Dogtopia.
We had a great experience at Dogtopia Dulles. They were friendly and took their time to answer our questions without rushing us. It was a welcoming and reassuring first visit to that specific location.
I love this place and so does my dog. He can't wait to get in the door and play. All the staff is great to both humans and animals. They r accommodating of dog health issues and value the safety of the dogs. They also do cute special events with the dogs during holidays. Like a paw print for mothers day and a picture of the dog in a cute suit for fathers day. Highly recommend!
Can't say enough about Dogtopia of Dulles South! The location is so clean and my dog-- who is my constant shadow at home-- doesn't mind going into the spa at all! He's known on a "first name" basis-- as soon as we enter he's happily greeted by name. Whether it be for a quick spa treatment, a few hours of doggie daycare, or an extended stay, he's always happy and healthy when we pick him up. The staff is friendly and helpful; the ability to view your dog on the webcam is an added bonus-- especially when it's a long stay. Being able to see him playing with others and wagging his tail while away from home and family is comforting. Overall, extremely pleased with the service and care that I, and especially my dog Murphy, receive at Dogtopia Dulles South.
I feel so utterly let down by this staff. The lack of communication from them cannot be understated. When their nest cameras are working , I would regularly see my dog crated for excesses periods of times, even to the point where an employee mentioned “I’m not sure why they keep her in the crate so much” (!??!). Today I reached out to another employee to question why my dog was in a crate while other dogs were playing outside. the response was that my 30 lb puppy broke their outside play area gate a month ago!?! Are you kidding me?! 1st off, as a business why would you not contact me if my animal damaged your property? Secondly, why would you not tell me that my dog would lose its “privileges” of day care? Isn’t that something I should know? The lack of communication from dogtopia of Dulles, translates to me that they do NOT care. My wife and I have tried to communicate with this location, over the phone, In person and via email regarding our concerns, just requesting feedback and communication. The ONLY one time they reached out was when our puppy injured her self from being in the crate And for the record- if you all care to even respond to this review. I have pictures of her “cuts” from being in the crate for excessive periods. I have pictures of her being in a crate alone, while other dogs out out. And emails reaching out about our concerns , pleading for common ground. If that’s the place you want to leave your dog, that’s your choice . I just hope you dog doesn’t experience what ours did.
The staff at Dogtopia of Dulles is among the most professional I’ve encountered. There is an excellent culture of caring and I’ve really enjoyed sharing my dog with them during his daycare and boarding stays in their facility. Their commitment to cleanliness, health, and safety is very apparent to me. Keep up the great work!
I wholeheartedly echo my husband's review of Dogtopia of Dulles. The lack of communication from the staff has been appalling, and it's heartbreaking to see our energetic puppy, Sky, confined to a crate for excessive periods. Despite our repeated attempts to communicate via phone, in-person, and email, the answers were always unclear. We've since discovered that she's been denied outdoor playtime privileges due to a gate incident a month ago, which was never communicated to us. As a puppy parent, it's devastating to see Sky jumping and barking at the other dogs playing while she's confined to a crate, resulting in bruises and injuries. I understand that managing high energy dogs can be challenging, but I believe exploring alternative solutions like additional training would be more effective and humane. I'd be more than willing to work together to find a solution for Sky, but the current situation is unacceptable. I implore Dogtopia of Dulles to prioritize open communication with pet owners and ensure the well-being of the dogs in their care. I hope our experience can lead to positive changes at Dogtopia."
I cannot say enough about Pender and their assistance importing a dog from a high risk rabies country (Ghana). Due to all of the new CDC rules, the process took 6 months but I could not have navigated it without them. Special shout out to Mike who answered so many questions throughout (even before I had an actual reservation secured). They made the process possible and we are forever grateful. They took great care of Apricot for the two days she spent there while we waited for CDC release (she had some significant skin issues that needed attention). We also saw lots of happy playing dogs in the doggy daycare/boarding area. Highly recommend. I’d give 100 stars if I could
Travelled from India to DC & was really worried how my pet Luna who is a pug would make it through the quarantine as she is only mouth fed but I would say she did fairly well & am sure the team really took care of her & the vet had given some antibiotics as she had some skin infection due to the hot weather in India which now her skin is improving and hope it goes away completely once her 10 day course is complete. I would really want to Thank the Vet & the Pender Pet Team for taking care of my girl & would surely recommend them and you can trust your pet 100% with them. Great work Team.
I cannot say enough good things about Pender Pet retreat and Mike who helped us every step of the way. Their pricing was fair and transparent and they communicated regularly with me about my pup's status and connected me with transport from DC to Wisconsin. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone importing a dog from another country.
"I can't say enough wonderful things about Pet Pender. Ruth and Connor were nothing but nice and helpful over the phone. My cat stayed with them for six days, and I was beyond impressed with the care and attention Wilbur received. The staff was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, making sure my cat felt at home. When I picked Wilbur up, he was happy, well-fed, and relaxed, which speaks volumes about the quality of their service. I highly recommend Pet Pender to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring place for their pets!"
Smart, friendly staff -- great for single-day daycare or long boarding. Love their "enrichment" options to add some additional activity to our dog's day! Attached pic is our dog, Pajamas, out on a nature hike with one of the caretakers. He always seems to enjoy his time there, and Pender is always quick to provide updates about his stay.
Hudson loves doggy daycare and comes home a happy and exhausted pup. It's nice to be able to watch him play with his friends on camera. Having a high energy dog, Pender is a lifesaver and a nice break from us at home having to provide the 5 hours of exercise a day he needs.
This was my first time ever boarding all 3 of my dogs, and I was definitely nervous to be away from them for my wedding weekend. First off the facility is beautiful and spacious! The staff is also super friendly. When we came to pick up our pups they were all in great shape and our anti social cattle dog seemed extremely happy and comfortable (which is saying a lot-he’s a really shy guy). Thank you Pender!
Mike was brilliant from start to finish. He was always friendly and helpful. He kept me up to date with what was happening. He flagged the paperwork that needed amending to avoid any problems. My dog needed to be collected by a ground handler and he kept her up to date with when my dog would be ready for colelction. I would highly recommend using Pender Pet Retreat. A huge thanks again to Mike and the team for all their support.
Took exactly care of our pup Harley Quinn , her and I both have anxiety. Caretakers stayed in constant communication with me , and didn't make me feel like I was bugging them even though I called three times within the first 24 hours, lol(its her first time boarding).I will be using the services again. Knowing Harley was an excellent care. I picked her up and she is very happy in a good mood .Which says a lot about the caretakers at Penderpets.
We boarded our dog at Pender over a weekend for a total of four nights. The interior is new and clean, and the staff were all very welcoming and kind. We selected the “presidential suite” accommodation for our dog: this accommodation includes several outings a day, a fluffy bed, and a 24/7 camera, among other things. Despite the wonderful employees, my partner and I were fairly disappointed with the “24/7 camera,” as this was a big selling point for us. The camera was at an odd angle and extremely blurry, ultimately providing a very limited and unclear view of our dog. Half the room was out of shot, we have no idea if she was provided a bed as all we could see was a raised cot. One night we checked the camera and it was totally black, presumably because the lights were off in the facility, but it is a stretch to claim your camera is 24/7 if you can’t see anything all night. (Screen shots attached). None of the other camera views available to us of the outdoors ever showed our dog on a walk or playing when we checked them. We also didn’t receive any updates or any progress report, so we don’t know how she faired while there. Even so, importantly, at pick up our dog was very happy and appears healthy. Overall I think this is a safe place to board your pet with nice people, albeit there could be some very simple changes to improve pet owner comfort and peace of mind (better camera maintenance, progress report at pick up or daily update). I’d round up and give 3.5 stars if I could.
Wonderful place for your furry family member! Ours is an Australian Cattle Dog rescue that entered our busy and noisy suburban neighborhood with many noise anxieties! We go for daycare and boarding. Spending time outside with doggy friends in the safe environment at Sugar Maple Farms has reduced his anxieties - and we are very thankful!
Our dog Zoe spent three weeks overnight at Sugar Maple Farm. We could not be happier with the love and support that Jennifer and her family provided for our pup while we were out of town. She was treated like part of the family and was never alone at any time. They treated her like she was part of the family and we never once had any concerns about her care. We received frequent update and pictures of Zoe playing with new friends and having so much fun. We feel like we found a great place to leave our dog when we embark on future trips. Sugar Maple Farm is the best and I highly recommend anyone thinking about outstanding care for the pets to consider this awesome place for their furry loved ones.
We have boarded our beagle-mix dog at Sugar Maple K9 Boarding twice now (the first time for a long weekend and the second for a 10 day trip) and both times have been great! Jennifer and her family do an amazing job looking after the dogs that are staying with them. The dogs have lots of room to play and run around in their back garden area and in their house. Jennifer was very responsive and the booking process was easy. We enjoyed getting updates with pictures throughout our dog's stay and it always looked like the dogs were having a great time together. It was also really nice to do the meet and greet before our dog's first stay to make sure it was a good fit for everyone. We had great peace of mind leaving our dog at Sugar Maple. If we could rate it 10 out of 5 stars we would! Thank you, Jennifer!
Sugar Maple K9 is the best! Our dog, Sam, was no longer a good fit for big box daycare and does better in a smaller, less busy atmosphere. We stumbled across Sugar Maple K9 online and are so glad we did! Jennifer and her family have taken such good care of Sam during his stays, and we always have peace of mind that he is comfortable and well cared for in their home. Jennifer sends great updates and pictures throughout his boarding stays and he always looks happy. We make the hour-long drive from DC, and it’s totally worth it knowing the quality of care he gets at Sugar Maple K9.
My husband and I boarded our two German Shepherds with Jennifer at Sugar Maple Farm for a week while we went on vacation. Our dogs are super sweet but can be a bit of a handful at times, so we are very conscientious about where we board them. I can't say enough great things about Jennifer, Dan, and their family. After our meet and greet with Jennifer and her dog Aurora, we felt the home-like atmosphere would be a great fit for our dogs. During the week of boarding, Jennifer provided us with plenty of updates on how our dogs were doing and sent lots of pictures and videos of all the dogs playing and enjoying their time. I'm so happy we decided to give Sugar Maple a try and will definitely be going back! Our dogs got tons of love and I even think they miss being there! Thanks so much for a great experience!
Jennifer and her family are great with our dogs. We use Sugar Maple for overnight stays and the dogs get to see horses and sheep and play outdoors and then are well cared for in their crate. The Sugar Maple interview involves interaction with their female German Shepherd, who is a good judge of temperament and she interacted with our two English Pointers well. Mostly they said hello to each other and went about what each dog wants to do. If you have an untrained, spoiled or aggressive dog, this is not the place for you. Sugar Maple has a number of day care guests, and they all get along, which is important. The best review is from the dogs themselves. On the second stay, they got excited when they realized where they were going, and Jennifer asked them to come inside her outdoor pen, and they marched right in off the leash. No whining or missing us. We call Sugar Maple their “camp.” They love their camp and they love returning home.
Sugar Maple Farm K9 Boarding and Day Care was recommended to me from a conversation I had at a Petco in Falls Church. I was hesitant about bringing my puppy to a boarding kennel for 5 days that would have him sleeping in a crate and not getting much exercise. Driving out to Aldie was a breath of fresh air for what I was looking for. The farm is beautiful and has 12 acres with fenced in pastures the dogs can run around in. Jennifer, the owner, allows in a handful of dogs to stay at a time and they are allowed to sleep in the house on their dog beds. Meeting Jennifer and her family left me with no hesitations and I was 100% confident my dog was would be safe and have an enjoyable time while I was gone. Getting sent daily pictures were also which were a nice touch. I will definitely be using them again and I have been recommending Sugar Maple Farm to anyone looking for something other than the conventional kennel boarding facilities. The drive out from DC is worth it knowing your dog is in great hands when you are away.
Sugar Maple Farm is such a gem, especially for those fur parents who are nervous about boarding their pet like we were. The family treats your dog like their own, sends you updates during their stay, and is so responsive and reliable. The first meet-and-greet put us at such ease and we knew that our dog would be in good hands with plenty of play time outside and in. I highly recommend Sugar Maple Farm!
I absolutely love taking my little fur baby to Sugar Maple Farm. Jennifer and family have truly been a blessing for us with our shepherd mix puppy. They treat him like one of their own. It gives him the social time, exercise and supervision that he needs as a puppy. Something I cannot do working a full-time job. Plus I found it more cost effective for him to go to SMF all day versus having a dog walker, for 30 minutes a day during the week. Less time cooped up and more energy expelled with other dogs/humans....happy you’re owner and dog!
Loved the fact the our dogs were not put in cages while staying at Sugar Maple overnight. I'm sure it helped to not traumatize our dogs for a week long stay away from us for the 1st time ever. My dogs loved it so much, and you could tell they wanted to say good by to the people at SM before they hopped into the car. Totally recommend this place if your dogs like to be social!
Our first experience with Woofie’s was beyond wonderful! Ashley did a fantastic job on our 5 month old mini golden-doodle and we’ve already booked our next appointment. Appreciate Ashley’s care and professionalism with our pet, her ability to answer our questions, her promptness and the ease of scheduling appointments. A high recommendation!
Great service! Neither of our pups love traveling so having Woofie's come to the house was amazing. The tech did a great job with both dogs; we couldn't be happier.
I switched over to Woofie’s this year and I have been very happy with their services. My pup comes back smelling great and showing off an awesome cut. I hated dropping her off at her previous groomer because she would become so anxious around the other dogs. Now she happily hops into the van and receives undivided attention!
Woofie’s of South Riding has been great! I have a new puppy and the groomer, Hallie, has done such a nice job with him. She’s very friendly and Finn just loves her. The staff in the office is great too- very responsive and pleasant.
Woofies has the best grooming available! I have my bernadoodle on a regular schedule. They treat my dogs as if they were their own. Michelle is so patient and caring with my wiggle worm!
I’ve had difficulty finding a good groomer who listens to what I want for my dog while making it a positive experience for her. After reading Woofie’s reviews and being recommended by my dog training company, I was willing to try a mobile grooming service. Hallie was excellent from start to finish. She introduced herself, and we sat down and discussed the service before taking my pup into the van. While my dog was initially nervous, she explained that she later warmed up to her and, in the end, made a new friend. We look forward to getting regular visits from Hallie in the future.
Woofies is amazing ! My golden retriever loves groomer Jazz ! She is awesome ,takes very good care of my baby girl ! Thank you Woofies for your service!
Woofies is wonderful! Our golden retriever always looks and smells so good after his grooming. He used to get so anxious going to the groomer but now when Michelle shows up in our driveway he gets so excited and hops right in the van! Can’t recommend enough!
We love Woofie's South Riding! My first use of them was for our wedding in 2021! We had our pup a part of the wedding, but that also meant time away from a special day - so Woofie's worked with us soo sooo well and our venue/wedding planner to make sure our pup was so well cared for during our special weekend! Since then, we trusted them to groom our newest pup and the older one! Ashley is our fav groomer and does such an amazing job with the boys! She is cognizant of every nuance each of the boys has and just make them look amazing and great! We have no issues with Woofie's South Riding. My one point of feedback is their scheduling system; it should all be done through one mode (the application). Right now, if you put in the request for a service through the app, they respond to you in a email. The whole point of an app is to create an easy/smoother system. I think an app update/scheduling system would be a great 2024 resolution!
They have been easy to work with and schedule appointments. Had a different groomer the two times we have used them but both did a good job. Happy with the service so far!
Bark and Roll is the BEST daycare ever! Roger and Lisa care for the dogs like their own. Great service, great baths, nail trimming, and boarding! Cashel loves the days she gets to play with her friends!!
Its the go to business that treats your dogs well. I have no problem with the service here and I think the staff are super friendly. More importantly, the doggies loved it.
I have used the services of Bark and Roll several times already. I have a reactive dog that has not acted up while staying at Bark and Roll. I can enjoy my vacations knowing that my dog is safe and is looked after very well. I never received unexpected calls while I am on vacation. Whenever I pick up my dog, he has been bathed before I pick him up. The staff is competent at what they do. I highly recommended Bark 'n' Roll! They have a wonderful staff watching after our dogs.
We boarded our dogs at Bark and Roll last summer for graduation and had a great experience! My dogs are pretty anxious around strangers but they had a good time with the other dogs and were in good spirits when I picked them up! The staff was friendly and there was always someone inside the room with all the dogs. The facility itself is large, bright, open, and clean! There's also a fenced in area on the side of the building where the dogs are let out to use the bathroom. Can't recommend Bark & Roll enough!
We just had our dog board here and asked to get her bathed as well. When we picked her up, she had just gotten a bath, but was still dripping water. The owner did tell us she won’t be completely dry by the time we picked her up, but I expected her to be at least somewhat dry, which was not the case. When we showed up, they pulled her out of her kennel and was soaking wet. So if we had showed up later, she would’ve sat in her kennel all wet until she dries up naturally. We’ve used this place several times in the past 1.5yr and this has not happened before. I don’t know if they have a new management, but today’s experience was very disappointing and we will not be taking our dog here again.
I have been bringing my dog here for about 2 years now. The staff is very friendly and caring with my anxious dog and she always comes out happy and tired! Out of all the dog daycare places I've tried, this place is the best value with longer pickup/dropoff hours, cheaper rates, a great grooming service, and someone always at the front desk when I arrive.
We loved Central Barks and our dog did too! Honestly it was like a second home to her and we always had peace of mind when we left her there. The staff is super helpful and friendly and you can see they love all the pets that come there. They remember each and every one, and welcome them with big smiles every time. Lisa and Roger are doing a great job and I can't recommend Central Barks enough!
Best prices and service of the daycares in the area. My dogs always come back stinky but I know they had a good time
I used Bark & Roll for bathing my 80 lb Basset Hound. The site was well setup with room, clean sink, responsive water with hot and cold, shampoo choices and dryer/towels. The Bark & Roll attendees were friendly and conscientious to my requirements while attending to their boarded and grooming dogs. Simple, in and out in 20 minutes.
I just wanted to write about my experience with central barks, we've been taking our dog here for almost a month now. The staff has been so kind and understanding. They continue to go above and beyond with great service and even some special accommodations for my pup and us. Its been a great help. Thanks central barks!
Andrea ( from Woofies ) has taken care of and loved my kitty, Jack, for about two years. I thought he would hide when she arrived each day. I was wrong. After each visit I receive a text with many photos of Jack and a description of how he is doing. This is so helpful and comforting. Jack absolutely loves Andrea. Woofies has been great to work with. It's easy to schedule visits online and I really like that you can schedule different services each day. I believe these folks do everything they can to make your life easier. That's how I feel.
I love Woofies, such an excellent service. We all need help sometimes and it’s too much to burden neighbors. Woofies is super responsive and has some great people to help with my baby dogs. They walk , feed, and stay-over with my 3 dogs when needed.
Woofies is an excellent service. My dog always looks and smells great after each groom. And they let you know of any health issues yet found during grooming so you can have the vet check them out. The only issue is price. But everything has gone up lately. But it's not cheap.
This is the most wonderful company for pet sitting and dog walking! They are flexible and extremely reliable. I have been a customer since 2017 and can recommend it wholeheartedly! Maximus agrees with me!
Extremely friendly and talented staff that provides great service every time. Our pups love their visits to Woofies!
In our opinion, Woofies continues to be the best pet salon in Ashburn. Our little Shih Tzu/Maltese Toby couldn’t be happier with his groomer Sim, who does a terrific job every time. So glad we found Woofies!
Woofie's is an amazing service! The mobile pet spa service is first rate bringing service right to your doorstep. Our dog loves her stylist and looks fantastic every time. It's important to reserve a "Woof Pack" well in advance as the service is always fully booked. The support team is excellent. Highly recommend!
Sim at Woofies has been my groomer for years. He is in the trainee program altho I don’t know why. Scarlett always looks wonderful, Sim does exactly what I want, and loves on her a lot.
Misty always gets pampered every time the groomer comes. With her being 11 years old; he makes sure she's comfortable
My husband and I absolutely love Woofies! They have helped us out in a crunch and are always reliable. The sitters take such good care of our pup and we are always comfortable with the people they employ! Cannot recommend them enough!
