My Harley girl has been coming to this facility for a few months now and she is always so excited to go play with her friends. The staff there are always so happy to see her and sometimes give me a review of how she did and what friends she had made that day. The only thing I could maybe critique is the cameras to check on the pups aren't great quality but now that she's so happy to go every few days, I trust these beautiful humans to take care of my baby girl. Thank you! ❤️

We have been taking our border collie puppy Dexter here for a few months now for daycare. They always take great care of him! He gets so excited when we pull up, and is always tired coming home. The staff there are friendly- we especially love Izzy, they always gives us nice little updates on how his day went! It's really nice that they have cameras as well, where we can check on Dexter throughout the day. The last few months he has grown a lot, turning into a nice young adult dog and we have them to thank for helping with that!

Absolutely Love and Highly recommend The Furlough Dog Daycare. I have two large dogs a Husky and a German Shepard which are difficult to find overnight stays or grooming, not for The Furlough, they are amazing. I use them for a dog play day, to let them mingle with other dogs in an amazing and safe environment or more recently a few nights vacations for the family I was able to board my dogs. My dogs love this place. Grooming is great too!! Thank you Furlough!!!

After having a few bad experiences at another facility with Titan, a previous dog I owned, I decided to groom him myself. I currently have 2 Keeshond dogs, Maive and Maverick. There is NO way I could groom them! I have only ever gotten them groomed here, and don’t plan on going anywhere else! Why would I? They ask me what I want for them. They follow through with the directions I give. They do it with a smile on their face. The best part is they do a beautiful job!

I have gotten my dogs groomed there and I have bored them there. I love this place they live on my dogs and take great care of them. I won't go anywhere else!!

I read all the reviews and a family friend recommended this place to me. I needed a place for my dog to be boarded for Thanksgiving week. This place is so nice and friendly. The staff members really care for your fur baby while you are away. There are nice dogs everywhere. My little husky-mix, Plum made lots of friends both human and canine while she stayed there. Miss Plum was so happy so she and I will definitely return to the Furlough for sure.

Absolutely wonderful! If you love your dog as much as I love mine they will be in excellent hands at beyond The basics dog care! You can tell the difference when someone sincerely does it for the love of animals and this place is all that and then some! I'm a guy that's very attached to his dog as though he's my little boy and I felt hesitant to leave him overnight anywhere and because of unfortunate circumstances I had to have a place for him to stay the night and all of my worries were taken away by the genuine care he received! Only boarding we use. We drive an hour out of our way just to use Jenny. She is beyond experienced handling dogs and takes great care of each animal as it’s her own! She helped tame Wildman Tux. ❤️

As always nothing but the best treatment . We've been using them for a few years maybe once or twice a year and our great Danes seem to enjoy and have a wonderful time. Very clean , plenty of space for the doggies to play and I cant say enough great things about Jenny. Patience of a Saint, nicest personality, clearly actually does it for the love of the animals.

I will not take my dogs anywhere else for boarding. Jenny is a dog person through and through and it really shows. She's always excited to see our dogs like they are her own. She takes pictures and videos for you as well. Nothing bad to say at all. I wish every animal boarding facility was ran by her!

Wakin Paws is the best! Our Cooper loves it there!! He is in the best hands! We love knowing he gets ticked in at night with cartoons and they always make sure he gets his rest/ nap time! Our boy is a lover and they make sure to take time to give him his cuddles!! Love that I get updates and pics of him living his best life!! Here a just a few they have sent when he is there!! Such a happy boy!!

We just had our first experience with Walkin Paws at the beginning of March. We have three pups and one of them is nervous around strangers. Kelsie was very reassuring and everything went smooth. She sent pictures of them every day and kept us informed on their diet and activity. So happy to have found a "vacation home" for our dogs while we are away. Thank you Walkin Paws for a great experience.

We used WalkinPaws for the first time with our Sunny girl and Kelcie was so amazing. She sent daily updates with multiple pictures. Sunny loved all the friend pups and looked like she was having a blast in all the pics!! Will definitely send Sunny there again ❤️

We started using Walkin Paws at the beginning of the summer for drop in visits for our two dogs and we just love Kelsie. She is professional, flexible, and extremely reliable. Not to mention, our dogs love her! She always sends us pictures of our fur baby's on every visit as well, which I love. I would highly recommend !

Our boys just got home from their first stay at Walkin’ Paws. They are absolutely amazing and the dogs loved it there! Most importantly mom and dad loved it more! One of our boys ended up having an upset stomach during the stay and Kelsie was wonderful. She contacted me right away and let me know exactly what was going on and talked to me the entire time giving me updates and even went to the store to get him some special food so we could help calm his stomach down and he could feel better and enjoy his stay. I got constant updates and pictures letting me know they were having a good time and enjoying themselves. They really do go above and beyond for your pets. I highly recommend them if you’re going out of town. I never felt concerned while we were on vacation I knew the boys were in good hands.

We absolutely love Four Paws. Our four-legged family member is reactive to other dogs and some people. He absolutely loves the staff, and they take great care of him while we are away! The concierge service gives us peace of mind. I can't imagine taking him anywhere else!

Our pup has been boarded here three times and seems to do well. Typically, he stays about a week to week and a half.. In the past, we have also boarded our older dog but, he is more comfortable at home this point in his life. We request check-ins and receive updates with pictures, which are aways so cute. They also ensure that prior to boarding, the pets are up to date on their immunizations, which is very important to us for the protection of our dogs! Recommend!

We don't board our dogs often but loved the idea of the daycare. I have 2 pits and was worried about how they would be treated because of the stereotype that come with the breed. The four paws hotel was awesome ! They were taken care of and treated like they were their own pets. Both boys came home tired after a long day of play. Our dogs were each placed in a group right for them. We love that they had different class sizes so our boys could get the love and attention they needed. Now it looks like they will be going to daycare and not just boarded for our vacation. Thanks for being so great and treating our boys like the good boys they are. We found our place and will recommend to everyone.

I take my dog here to build confidence and get energy out. She is always excited to go. They make dog friendly meals you can get for your pup while they are at daycare. The staff are incredibly nice. Highly recommend, love this place!

Our girl came to The Four Paws 🐾 Hotel & Day Resort February 14, 2023. Her very first day she came home with Valentine’s from all her NEW FURiends. Our girl had gone to another daycare, but oh my gosh I am so glad we found Four Paws. In the almost year she has been there she has grown, flourished and is happier than ever. She is thriving in her development and that is in part to this amazing staff. These ladies and gentlemen are some of the kindest and most compassionate hoomans (as Sasha would say) we have met. My doggies love going here! They have a good selection of accommodations and extras for boarding. So many great options! They paid attention to my dogs needs and adjusted accordingly. And the staff is amazing.

I read all so many positive reviews, that’s what made me bring my fur baby here. I am upset I did not follow my mom instincts. She did not really want to go in, I thought this is her 1st time at this- just anxiety. Which I explained she had, due to her lack of attention and being caged most of her 1st year of life prior to her rescue. She always had to pee for so long as soon as we got her, she got kennel cough. Then the 1 time she actually was boarded for the night- 1st night we ever spent apart- they did not send the picture I begged and paid for till 30 min b4 we picked her up the next day. I was so worried about her. The new place I go, she has never once had to go pee after daycare, I can see on camera all day what she is doing and the staff playing with the dogs- She runs in, not tail between the legs. I think she was put in a cage most of the day here and that is her fear! Learned my lesson, follow mom instincts. Glad for the dogs that are happy, but parents would be happier if they could really see what’s going on! It’s not expensive!! All the best

We've been using the Four Paws for 10 years for daycare, boarding and grooming. The staff are awesome and Milo loves going there. Highly recommend!

My 12 year old Labrador Deefer boarded there for five days, first time he's ever been boarded and he is used to me working 5 days a week so sleeps all day. He came home and utterly crashed out. He was there for a couple of daycare visits prior and had a wonderful time. I appreciate the care, the bedtime "tuck ins" that are posted on fb, and think he got exceptional care. I also appreciate that they accept raw meals!

Our dog Luna has been going to Four Paws for about 6 months now. We love Four Paws, but more importantly, Luna loves Four Paws! She gets so excited every time we tell her she’s going there. She’s well looked after and we really appreciate all the extra services you can purchase when boarding your dog here. Their package daycare plans are also a great option for a little savings. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Four Paws to anyone looking for daycare or boarding services.

Maggie stayed here last year. What a wonderful fun time she had. She stayed for several days and got to know and be socialised with other dogs. Last day there she was beautifully groomed. Must have been a big job, Maggie isa Gt Pyr. Will go again for sure.

10/10 definitely recommend. I’ve been struggling for years to find a reliable, trustworthy groomer for my Aussie mix Jessie, but Becky and Brett are absolutely amazing! They took my baby in last minute and helped relieve her of her mats. They treated her like she was their own and answered every single question I had. they are very genuine people and now a days that’s hard to come by. I will definitely be coming back!!!!

I take my long haired golden doodle here for grooming quite often and won’t take him anywhere else! The owners are so friendly and accommodating. My dog is pretty hyper and jumps sometimes but they’re so patient with him. Fast, effective, and reliable. Lastly, they’re very very affordable for the quality of work they do.

I have taken my Layla twice now for grooming. This couple are so caring takes care of my baby. She smiles when she is done with her spa treatments. My baby is a little old lady so it takes a little effort and patience to groom her since she doesn't always wants to stand up but they take the time to make sure she is comfortable. I didn't know about this shop till one day when I had my girl at the vet (Heritage on N Genesee) and Becky and I started chatting while we waited out turn. When I got home of course I checked for reviews and nothing but good to say about this wonderful family owned business. Try them I'm sure you will be delighted

What a gem of a place! I'm a truck driver with a dog in the truck. She desperately needed her nails trimmed. I happened to be delivering just 1/2 mile down the road. I did a quick Google search for dog groomers nearby. I found this place and called because they were still open, but closed in only a few minutes. I was joyfully greeted and I made arrangements to possibly stop by in the morning on my way out of town. A couple minutes later I received a call back and was told the groomer would wait. If I wanted to walk down and get it done now. I said I would, and I took off on foot. My dog had other ideas, it was too hot for her to walk. 80% of the way. When I arrived, I was drenched! They took my dog, gave me a paper towel to wipe the sweat out of my eyes, and even offered an ice cold bottle of water! To top it off, I was offered a ride back to my truck. I gladly accepted. So anytime I'm back in this area, and in need of any nail trims, gland expression, or doggy bath, I will definitely stop in. And anybody who needs the same should do the same!. Thank you very much! And Finley's nails look wonderful. You did an amazing job.

Our 7 month old pup Ollie got his first haircut today at Borton’s! From the phone call to schedule, to the drop off, to the pickup they could not have been more friendly, accommodating, or kind. Becky was super sweet, Bret was very personable and Ollie looks and smells great! We are thankful to have found such a great place to take our little dude.

I can't say enough good things about Bortons. We've been brining Roman here for a year and the care and attention he receives is amazing. They do an excellent job of ensuring that the right dogs are paired together. Keep up the great work!

Oh my goodness! The groomer did so fabulously on our Bandit boy! I was so shocked with how amazing he looks now!! So grateful I found this place and he came back home with the cutest little scarf!!! Ugh in love! He looks sooo good!

We recently had all 3 of our dogs in for grooming. Everyone at dapper dog were very nice helpful and have a great love for dogs. Extremely satisfied with the grooming, our dogs look wonderful. Will recommend them to anyone looking for pet grooming, thanks Michelle and all your staff.

I’m so happy I found a place for my golden to go. Her nails were getting painfully long, and everywhere I went kept trimming just the tip and overly charging. I traumatized myself and my pup by clipping too short making her bleed, so I was beyond relieved when I found this place and they trimmed her nails as far as they could without harming her. They were so sweet to my pup too it warmed my heart. Thank you sooo much guys, I know my pup was in pain and stressed me out greatly.

The Dapper Dog is a wonderful groomer. The team takes great care of my Sheltie, Mopar, and are so knowledgeable about his breed. They are attentive, gentle, and just do great work. We have been to the groomer twice (he is a baby) and I can’t say enough positive things! From deshedding to brushing his teeth, it’s been a positive experience. Oh my goodness, where do I even begin?! From the moment you step in this place, it’s absolutely stunning, and so clean. You are then met with a wonderful reception staff, who make leaving your fur baby a little easier! I was BEYOND please with how Gunner turned out, he looks so handsome! We already can’t wait for our next visit❤️ not to mention she squeezed us in last minute because we were in the process of finding a new groomer, and he was in need of a groom. We will continue business with them for as long as possible☺️ thank you Dapper Dog for making Gunner look very dapper☺️

I brought Piper my Mini golden doodle in. I heard about the dapper dog from someone at my dog training club. Beautiful building and set up. And the staff were amazing! Piper is 1 year old, so is still a hyper puppy, but they did great with him. He had absolutely no stress, no anxiety. And I've already booked my next appointment. And we will be getting doggy day care one day a week starting in 2 weeks. I recommend them highly!

My babies have transitioned from a local groomer in the area to The dapper Dog pet parlor. I picked my Lucy and Teddy up yesterday and they looked BEAUTIFUL:) Not only did they look good, they smelled good their teeth were clean I was very satisfied with the services I received. The staff were very friendly amd wanted to make sure I was pleased. I can tell they were gentle with my babies as well. My only regret is that I didn’t leave enough of a tip as I was rushing out because a Great Dane was being picked up from daycare😂You will not be disappointed and we are here to stay I’m a very happy new customer 🐶

Ashely helped us with our pup on our wedding day. She was absolutely amazing. Ashley came and did a run through of how the day was going to go at our house. We showed her around and gave her the game plan. She arrived at the venue and was prepared and ready to go with treats. Our dog loved her. Ashley made everything so much easier with having our pup there. I would absolutely recommend. She even provided transportation for our dog.

Started taking my boy to Jackie & Joes and he absolutely loves going there! He knows exactly where we’re at when we pull in & goes crazy to see all of his friends and the staff. Ashley & her mom love him like he’s their own and as his dog mama that means so much to me. Ashley updates me daily with pictures of all the fun he had & the new friends he continues to make as their business grows bigger. I was very hesitant on taking my dog to people that weren’t me, simply out of the protection i have for him. I’ve looked into a few places and this is the one that i genuinely felt safe with leaving him at. I highly recommend!!

Absolutely amazing service and best decision me and my wife made for our wedding was hiring Jackie & Joes Pet Care! They absolutely did an amazing job taking care of our dogs and serving his pet wedding attendance while at the rehearsal, first look and reception. At no time during during the weekend did we have any concerns about the well-being of our dogs as they kept us Notified dogs were doing at all times and took some extraordinary pictures of the dogs enjoying their weekend with two of their new best friends. Absolutely would recommend hiring pet care for any pet service or pet care needs!

Just started taking angel And she loves it good for big dogs with big energy she loves meeting all of her new friends and I only started bringing her to help her with her separation anxiety I get lots of pictures of all the fun she had after every visit DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

I couldn’t recommend Jackie and Joe’s enough! The sign up process is super simple and their questionnaire is very thorough. Jackie and Joe’s really cares for the well being of your pet and it shows! Ashley came over to do a meet and greet with us and Walter. Walter instantly fell in love with Ashley! Walter can be pretty bossy and stubborn but Ashley knew exactly how to handle him due to her experience. The biggest thing I look for when we use a pet sitter is if my dog is paid attention to, well cared for and is happy. I’m happy to report that Ashley checked all of these boxes for us. Ashley sent us updates as well as photos. We definitely will be using Jackie and Joe’s again! Walter can’t wait!

Emmy Sue LOVES going to Jackie Joe's Pet Care! I started taking her for some socialization, Ashley was so good about introducing her properly to pack. In no time, Emmy was having a ball with her friends, though she does have 1 Bestie there, Charlie!!! I love getting pictures each day of all her shenanigans. Shes definitely tired when she gets home! Highly recommend taking your furbaby here!

For the the first time we needed to find a warm and safe retreat for our two year old. Kim's was fantastic. She sent videos of how our Oliver was doing and she was so good to him. Anyone needing to temporarily find a warm stay for your family member it is Kim's.

Kim’s Retreat is a wonderfully calming place. My dog suffers from PTSD from another boarding place and it was difficult for us to leave him. Kim made him feel calm and welcome from his initial meeting with Kim. We were finally able to take a real vacation and not worry! Thank you Kim for all you do for our pets. The Dehnbostels.

This was Aces first stay with Kim and we couldn’t be happier!! The initial meet and greet quickly settled our minds that this would be a great fit, and it was!!!! We love EVERYTHING about Kim’s Retreat; from Kim’s obvious & genuine love for animals to the pristine facility (retreat😊), and the constant and open communication (pictures/videos) with us throughout the stay! The animals get one-on-one play time so we didn’t have to worry about possible negative interactions. Most boarders charge $55 per day. Kim charges $60 per day for individual (tailored to your pet) care!!! Sooooo glad my daughter found Kim’s Retreat!! 10 stars out of 5😁!!!

Kim took special care of our two dogs over the holiday weekend. We were able to relax while in her care. She is organized, clean, filtered water for pups and special treats! Recommend her for a small focused stay for your dogs.

Kim is absolutely AMAZING. She goes above and beyond. My pups absolutely love to go there when we vacation. We used to take them to a local dog daycare, which was not as intimate as Kim's is. Anytime we are getting ready to go on vacation, I look at my dog's and ask them if they are ready to go to Mrs. Kim's, and they absolutely go stir crazy and jet right to the car. I highly recommend her.

Kim's retreat is exactly what we needed. Not only did we need to board our 5 year old dog we also had a 5 month old puppy and we were nervous about leaving him so early and for so long (8 days). Everything worked out great. Kim is fantastic with dogs. Both my dogs had a great time and our pup came home learning a new command that Kim taught him. We will definitely use this service again!

Kim's Retreat is a unique boarding experience - so much nicer than typical kennel/boarding places. We adopted a young Weimeraner, and wanted a more personal and attentive experience for her first time boarding - and Kim provided the perfect solution. The individual rooms are great, and the outdoor fenced area is good for pups that need to run. Maybe the best part is how much Kim cares for each dog that she hosts at the Retreat. It's obvious that she wants them to feel safe and loved, and she gives an excellent personal touch.

Kim does a great job taking care of my dogs when we are out of town. The ReTreat is clean and is beautiful inside. The outdoor play area is big enough for my two labs to get plenty of exercise. And if I need them to be let out during the day, the drop in option is very convenient, helpful, and a great idea! Her communication when we return is exceptional and she truly loves taking care of our dogs. I highly recommend her if you are in need to boarding your dog!

Kim treated our dogs as if they were her own. Her retreat was amazing. My girls had green space to run and plenty of trails to take walks on. We will definitely be coming back for our needs in the future! Than you Kim!
