Natalie took great care of it dog and cats! She was clean, organized, conscientious, and communicative. Our dog had a small cut on his foot and Natalie took great care to help him heal. I would highly recommend Natalie as a house sitter and pet sitter!
Michele is a great pet sitter for my dog Charley! She keeps me informed and sends pictures. I came home to an immaculate home! I hope she will come back again.
Evan and Maria were fabulous. They are experienced sitters and it shows in their independence. They sent regular updates, but not too regular and were totally self sufficient. Most importantly both the house and dog were perfect when we returned home.
Our dog loved Angela, as did we! She was friendly, efficient, handled our large, happy bernadoodle effectively and with love...we could not have asked for a better dog sitter and would be happy to have her back.
Jo & David were absolutely amazing sitters for our house and dog Rosie while we were out of town for 2 1/2 weeks. They are the best! Jo was super communicative and responsive at all times. She and David bonded with our dog, who grew very attached to them. They left our house super clean (and there were even chocolate chip cookies for us on our return)! Most of all, they are just super nice people and very easy to work with. Anyone is lucky to have JoAnna & David housesit for them.
Hamsa was very quick to respond in all communication. She was prompt on her arrival and listened carefully to our detailed instructions about the house and dogs. While we were away the amount of communication between us was just right. When we arrived home the dogs were happy and the house was in order. A good sign that a dog sitter paid lots of attention to the pups is when we see a bit of depression set in after a dog sitter departs - this did occur after Hamsa left our home She is a very caring and nurturing individual.
Truly The Best House sitters Ever!!! Shannon, Travis and their son were absolutely terrific. I’m so lucky to have had the genuine pleasure of meeting them. Very warm, generous, open and loving people. My dog Wolfie usually barks at men who come in the house and I was a little worried about how he would be with Travis, but I had nothing to fear because within seriously 1 minute from Travis walking in the door, Wolfie was giving him kisses on the lips! I was so happy to receive their updates and photos and videos of my pets while I was away. They really went above and beyond taking terrific care of my many, many furry and feathered friends. When I got home, the place was sparkling clean, all linens laundered and beds made and they even left me sweet little surprises. I would welcome The Exums back with open arms anytime and highly recommend them.
Piper was a wonderful sitter and I would definitely have her come again. My dog .Winston loved her and was very happy while I was gone. When I returned home everything was orderly and clean, she changed her bed and washed all the towels. I totallly recommend Piper to sit at your home.
Jim sat for my extremely shy rescue pup and new kitten for two weeks -- my pup struggles with new people, and is very fearful of men in particular. And yet, Jim was more successful with her than any sitter I've ever had: I can't recommend him highly enough. He has wonderful patience, a calm energy, and is a great communicator. He consistently updated me with photos and videos of my sweet girls enjoying the world with him, taking my dog on hikes and adventures to her favorite streams. He went above and beyond both for her (in meeting her needs and taking the time to get to know her personality), and also in caring for my home. I returned to such a cozy environment, a repaired wood stove, an organized wood pile and an at-peace dog and cat. Choosing Jim as a sitter is ensuring that your pets and home are getting the best of care, and his actions exemplify his kindness, generosity and thought taken in consideration of others. I hope to have him return many times in the future; the experience was a privilege both for myself and my pets.
I could go on forever because Veronica was beyond incredible! We feel so fortunate that she was able to sit for us. Our fur babies were so spoiled with love and attention. Veronica followed their regular schedule, gave our dog her joint supplement, and helped clean her paws with medicated wipes from our vet. Our cat is very shy and sometimes doesn’t even come out for sitters and he loved Veronica! She brushed him and gave him so much love. They were both so happy when we came home. Veronica went above and beyond for us! She even made us masks, got us some disinfectant spray we haven’t been able to find and to top it off she made us bolognese sauce with sweet chicken sausage! She even left us a new box of pasta to make when we got home! We couldn’t believe we got to come home to an incredibly clean house, dinner and such happy pets! Veronica sent pictures and updates daily which made our time away even more relaxing. She took cleaning and sanitizing very seriously which we appreciated so much! We highly recommend her! She treated us, our home and pets just like family. We would love to have her sit for us again and are so grateful for everything she did for us! Also - dinner was delicious!!

We had our first visit to Wookie Dogs yesterday and I am wondering, how did I not know about this place sooner? I currently have 2 dogs, one of which is deaf, and a third dog I am fostering; neither the deaf dog nor the foster child has been off lead for safety reasons. They had the best time exploring the grounds, splashing in the water, plodding through the mud, running from one end of the paddock to the other, and chasing ducks (none were caught!). The venue is extremely well catered for and is perfectly fit for purpose with drinking water stations, poo pickup equipment, secure gates and fences, and even a first aid kit and wash down tub. Now that I know about this little hidden secret, I will be sure to take the dogs back again on a regular basis.
We had our first visit yesterday and my dog absolutely loved it. We got recommended to come here by our trainer as my dog loves to sniff and explore freely. We have since booked 3 more visits as we can’t wait to come back and play.
Another wonderful morning with my girls Fleur and Madikwe and little Archie joined us. They had a great adventure at private hire at Wookie Dogs playing with the ball, having lots of sniffs, paddling in the dam and seeing cows 🐄 and sheep 🐑 for the first time. Thanks to Beth for letting us use her beautiful and wonderful space 🐾❤️🐾 …
If you’re looking for a beautiful secure place (with no other dogs or people) to take your pup off lead then look no further than private hire at Wookie Dogs!! So much room to run around including a little creek for the dogs to swim in. We try come here at least once a month to give our dogs the freedom and fun to just be dogs, you can also bath them off afterwards before you leave. Making Wookie the perfect place for your dog to have fun! Cannot recommend enough, the owners are lovely too!
What an amazing place to take your dogs for some off lead exploring! A group of us took our four dogs to Wookie Dogs and they had the best time. Love the spaciousness of the area and you have the option to stay in the front area (no water areas) or you can go back further into an area with some water play options. Highly recommend.
A wonderful place for our dogs to run free. Came with two white retrievers, left with two very exhausted and very black retrievers. Such a great idea and use of land and the bonus was being able to wash most of the muck away on site. We will be back.
Amazing facilities for my boys that arent at a space where they can handle other dogs. So nice to be able to take them to a place and just chill and let them have an explore and splash
We had a fantastic time at Wookie Dogs, it was a great experience for our dogs. It was so great to be able to let them run free in a safe but stimulating environment. Our dogs suffer from anxiety and can become reactive in some circumstances, but here we didn’t have to worry about triggers or other dogs. A fun and positive time was had by all 😃
We took my sons reactive dog and our 4 5 month old puppy to Wookie Dogs on the weekend for some off leash play and training. The front paddocks are a bit dry ATM but they had an absolute ball in the back paddock as it has lots of shade and a creek (not running ATM but still some water to play and get muddy in). Fences are all secure and we felt very safe. Thanks, we will be back!
So helpful. We got the best muzzle for my dobermann girl (who eats everything that she shouldn’t). She can now have fun off lead without the worry. She was comfortable in it straight away and doesn’t mind having it on at all. Tried three others first that weren’t suitable at all. Very grateful.
Our pups Barry and Missy were looked after so well! They came home with smiles on their faces and looking healthier than ever! Loved receiving the photos and video updates of their fun walks and dog park plays. Highly recommend! And a great peace of mind knowing our fur babies are so well looked after when we are away!
Going on holidays has always been slightly stressful not knowing my mini schnauzer boys would be happy and get the same care and attention as they do at home. They can be a bit high maintenance 😆. Our boys have stayed with Jennifer twice now, and to see how much they enjoy their stay, the love she gave them, updates with photos and how now they get so excited to see her means that going away without them is no longer going to be stressful for any of us. Aunty Jennifer will be our trusted pet sitter going forward ❤️
Fast response, so caring and nurturing. Felt at ease leaving my boy Tux with her, he was so comfortable in her environment which is completely equipped with everything your dog will need. He had so much fun socializing, playing and going on walks. She updated me with photos and messages throughout his stay. So lovely to deal with will definitely be using her services again. Thank you so much, you were amazing!
Jennifer went above and beyond for the care of our dogs whilst we were out of the house for two weeks. She took them to the park/water a lot, made sure they were well fed and cared for. It was hasslefree even though we did give her some issues, but she dealt with them despite them being difficult! You can tell she really loves her dogs and all those that she looks after. Thanks so much Jennifer!
Jennifer has been taking care of our beautiful puppy Archie for a year and she is just amazing. Her love and care for Archie is second to none. He is absolutely spoilt by Jennifer and when he stays there it is exactly like home. I highly recommend happy paws for your beloved pooch! 5 stars 🌟 …
I am so glad to have found Jen! She is super accomodating as I need to drop my dogs off at 5:15am. She is easy to communicate with, keeps you updated and sends pictures/videos through out the day. It can be daunting to leave your dog with someone you haven’t met before but you can trust Jen to take great care of your dogs. One of my dogs (Gringo) is a handful and I appreciate how patient Jen is with him. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for daycare/sitting. Your dogs will be in a safe, loving and fun environment. My dogs were worn out when they got home after their first session and I could tell they had the best time. Thank you Jen ☺️
If you need to leave your special fur baby, Jennifer is the person. Every time I have left my fur baby Buddy I have felt so at ease. Jennifer is amazing, she sends photos, gives updates. I can enjoy my holiday knowing Buddy is safe. I highly recommended. Thank you Jennifer 😊 …
Jennifer is amazing! She has looked after our dachshund several times and absolutely spoiled him with attention every time- he loves her! Jennifer has been really helpful and flexible and easy to arrange stays with. She sends regular videos and photos which is great. Our boy can be nervous and has separation anxiety but Jennifer is like a dog whisperer and knows exactly how to manage him. I would definitely recommend her as a pet sitter!
Jennifer looked after ours two dogs Cleo and Goliath. They absolutely loved their stay and got to meet new doggie friends too. I would definitely recommend Jennifer to look after your pets as she is a true dog lover. She even sent us regular pics and videos as my daughter was missing them.
A big thanks to Jenn for looking after my dog Djinda she is a big dog and she was right at home with all the little dogs, I was sent regular updates and photo’s, Djinda is happy to be home. I will be using this service again 👌🏾🐶🫶🏾 …
Absolutely love this place. They feel like a second family to my dog. The genuine love and care they show our babies is amazing, they are clearly passionate about caring for dogs. My boy comes home happy and tired every time. Highly recommend!
These guys are amazing! My doggo loves going to see his friends (human and dog) every week. They’re so kind and sweet with my boy and all the other pups. And he’s always exhausted by the end of the day. 1000% recommend these guys for doggie day care and grooming services too! It’s so convenient having both in the same place.
Hi I’m Ellie. I’m a lovely little blue heeler girl and I just love my daycare days. I have been going to daycare once a week since I was 10 weeks old. I have learnt so much like how to calmly meet and interact with other dogs and that I can be safe even if my pawrents are not around but mostly I have learnt how to have the most fun possible. I love my mum and dad more then anybody but if I had to chose other hoomans to hang with it would be the wonderfull workers here at daycare. Here is my favourite photo from a time I got to go to daycare for the second time in one week and we also got to help wolf and waggle raise money for a breast cancer charity 🎀 best week ever!!! Also a photo of me showing you how happy I am to meet a new friend!
We love the team at Woof n Waggle. Our fur baby loves her time at DayCare each week, she pushes us to get out the door and comes home knackered. The team at Woof n Waggle are lovely, they ensure they take time out to talk to their Waggle family each and every time the dogs are dropped off - service with a smile every time! The premises are sectioned off and they socialize your dog, with similar natured dogs - which made me feel at ease. The biggest smile on our doggo’s face, every time she’s picked up. Couldn’t recommend enough!
If you’re looking for somewhere that will love and care for your dog then look no further! My little Iris gets the best care; attention and stimulation from the amazing team here at PawPals in Malaga. Since starting as a timid 10 month old in October 2022, it’s been fabulous to see how much more confident my dog is. Better still, being around other dogs regularly, has really helped develop her social skills. With their expertise in dog behaviour, the team are able to help me manage the cheeky pup attitude I sometimes encounter and help me with ways to keep less than ideal behaviour in check in between our weekly visits. Absolutely love this place! Don’t hesitate to join the PawPals family!
My fur baby Storm has been going to PawPals for about a year now and LOVES it! As soon as I turn down the road she’s jumping to get out the car. The staff at PawPals are so loving - I feel so safe leaving Storm with them, they keep me updated throughout the day and she gets so excited to see them. I highly recommend PawPals.
Since puppyhood, Obi has been thrilled at Woof n' Waggle! The team has been with him from the start, providing personalized support through regular daycare and the Brain Busters program. Their guidance has helped him navigate adolescent behaviours and learn essential social skills, making a significant positive impact on his everyday life. We are incredibly grateful for their genuine care and have enjoyed watching Obi grow and thrive at daycare. We couldn’t recommend this place enough!
Woof n Waggle is run by a dynamic team of canine experts who have improved my dog’s wellbeing in so many ways; she can’t wait to get in the door, play, learn and socialise. We get photos and videos of our dogs’ experiences throughout the day and every dog is always so happy and glad to be there. The birthday parties are fun, as are the dress up days. We get the pics! Highly recommended.
I have been sending my dog here since he was 3 months old, he just absolutely loves it. When he realises where we are he gets so excited and practically tries to jump out of the car himself. The staff really are excellent and genuinely care for all the dogs in their care.
Our dog, Zara, has been attending Pawpals Malaga for over a year now and I’ve noticed such an incredible change in her! Pawpals is a fantastic place that continues to provide Zara a safe environment to socialise and learn. She attends their specialised “Brain Busters” class on Mondays which is tailored to working dog breeds. This class has really helped keep her stimulated and has taught her so much. She always comes home very calm, tired and most importantly, happy! The ladies at daycare are some of the loveliest people and I feel at ease knowing I’ve left Zara with such warm and caring people. I can’t recommend this doggy daycare enough 😊
Our Syrah a Chocolate Labrador seemed happy, content and excited when we picked her up after her 2 week holiday camp. Albeit a little bit of weight. We included cognitive training and play days with others. Her report card from teainer/handler Steph gave us some tips for further development. May not be the cheapest kennel but quality is what we wanted, both for Syeah and our own comfort . Highly recommended...
Amazing! My very anxious greyhound comes home happy and clean and it's obvious he loves all the team and they love him. Wouldn't take him anywhere else. I drive past many other kennels much closer to home but it's well worth it as I have complete peace of mind when I am away. Patch had his 7th birthday when i was away recently and the lovely team gave him a birthday treat and sent me some gorgeous photos of him in a birthday hat. So thoughtful. Highly recommend
Thank-you Hanrob for looking after our gorgeous boy Archie for three weeks this July 2023. We were a little worried about him as he is very active and three weeks is a long time away. We needn’t have as the staff took great care of him and judging by the Facebook posts he had lots of fun. He came back smelling nice and they even cut his nails! On leaving he kissed the trainer goodbye. He will be back 🐕
Our big black, naughty, clever cat, Ollie, is always very well looked after and entertained when he stays at Hanrob Perth. He's been there twice now and is always healthy and happy when we pick him up. I recommend this pet accommodation.
Maddi has been staying at Hanrob Perth kennels since she was a pup. She is 10yo now and after her recent stay she settled in at home again immediately. Hanrob take really good care of your pet and ensure they are happy. What more could you ask for
Took me ages looking around and finding the right doggie hotel for Akira and my other 2 dogs. I'm very fussy and wanted a place that treats our dogs with 100% love and care. I found the staff and the professionalism at Hanrob great. Akira aka KIKI as the staff has named my sons rotti haha loves coming here and she acts like she owns the place. The staff has showed her love and attended to her always. When akira has come home she is balanced and happy. Looking forward to when the more luxury accommodation for pets arrives. Also good that they offer FIFO rates. Because of Akiras breed she is not allowed to play at play time with other dogs, but she seems still happy to meet new friends through the fence. Her nature and beautiful loyal nature I'm sure is seen when she stays at Hanrob. My other two dogs loved it at Hanrob as well the socializing is so good for them .
Love this place. My dog has Diabetes and eye problems and needs a lot of care. I couldn’t fault them, they took exceptional care with her. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
Great staff, any dramas, and they give you a call. I don't worry about leaving the dog there, and to be fair, the dog doesn't seem to mind either.
Just started my Kelpie cross hunterway rescue dog, Doug at Hanrob Perth for daycare and getting him used to the hotel rooms for a future stay. The team at Hanrob have been on point with their communication and information and really clear on expectations and inclusions. First day check in was super smooth and easy. Being a rescue, Doug is pretty timid at first but the team were really professional in handling him and he looked pretty happy when we picked him up at the end of the day. I was super impressed how well they get the dogs personalities and their care and understanding. Thanks Hanrob Perth Team.
Excellent boarding, like staying with friends for your fur babies.Lovely environment, spotless kennels great large play area. And a team that really cares for your pet. I always feel relaxed knowing my boy is well cared for. Thank you Hanrob.
Very happy with the service at Julies Boarding Kennels, staff are really friendly, happy, helpful and very caring, our dog was well cared for and was happy and healthy when we picked her up. Thank you for the amazing service you provide and for taking great care of our furbaby. I highly recommend this kennel. Thank you
Julie's kennels provided excellent care for my Dog's recent stay. She entered the kennels with a previous injury which required 4 different medications to be administered during her stay. She had a bandaged foot which had to remain dry, she had to wear a cone, and she also required a prearranged vet visit to change the bandage. All of this was accomplished without hesitation. I would highly recommend Julie's kennels.
My dog has stayed twice now for a week each time. He has been happy and very relaxed away from home. Staff are passionate about caring for each of their guests. They were able to give me a detailed handover on my dog’s experience. What he did, what he ate, if he got on well with other dogs etc. I would definitely recommend this boarding kennel. Staff deserve 5 stars as well. Thank you 🤩
We had the worst experience at this kennel, staff lying and making offensive false comments about our dog just to prove she is correct. We previously had great service and accommodation for our dog when Shannon was in charge, but since she left, the service has gotten extremely bad! the owner, Julie, doesn't understand anything about customer service, rather than diffusing a tense situation, she further escalated it, she is absolutely irresponsible and very unreliable, don't trust your beloved family pet to these people.
First time leaving our doggy, the care seemed fine, I liked how they let the dogs have a play with the ones that get on.
We sent our fur baby in for a week.we have sent him to another boarding kennel before and he was happy and relaxed when he came back. We chose this place as it was nearer to our home. However, when we dropped him off he was happy. When we picked up, its been 2 days and he seems withdrawn and quiet with tail tucked under. He is always a happy and active boy, its sad for us to see him this way. Makes us wonder what might have happened. The lady at the teception seemed flustered and generally staff there did not seem friendly. We are definetely not sending our fur kid back there again. 👎
I can highly recommend Julies Boarding Kennels to anyone looking at boarding kennels for theirs dogs! Shannon was absolutely amazing with Amy and we are so grateful for the time Shannon spent with us leading up to Amy’s first stay. After a not so nice experience with another boarding kennel it was a huge relief to find Julies boarding kennels. We were so impressed with Shannon and Lexy’s experience with challenging rescue dogs like Amy, I felt extremely comfortable with leaving Amy in their capable hands for the weekend. Amy came home happy, content, soft and clean! Thank you both for taking such good care of Amy and bathing her! We look forward to using Julie’s Boarding Kennels again when we are away next.
Terrible experience. My male dog has been left with a female dog and the kennel owner found them "stuck" and it resulted in an unplanned pregnancy for the female dog. They didn't even contact us but were told when we picked up our dog. Very unprofessional and shocking from a long established boarding kennel.
Loki and I love coming here… Loki has his friends and his favourites… the staff are friendly and I adore Brittany and Lexi who have such loving personalities. When I leave my Loki Bear. I know he is safe and has a great time because he basically walks himself to the back door and barely says goodbye. Little jerk.
I can't reccomend these guys enough! Working FIFO sure has it's Downfalls around leaving my furbabies behind, however, knowing my pets are in great/safe hands makes it that little easier being away. Julies Boarding Kennels and Cattery go above and beyond as well as empathetic towards other people's lifestyles working FIFO. I also want to say thank you the Team and especially Tania (Reception/Admin) for all your efforts and always being in positive spirits! Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed, so thank you!😁
We had a sitter booked for Christmas and they pulled out last minute. The local vet recommended ASK and we made an enquiry. They squeezed us in last minute with no additional costs. Our dog needed a bit of extra attention and they were fantastic. Updated me as required. I saw some negative comments on here but I think they were just high maintenance individuals. When we picked out boy up he was healthy and very happy. Will certainly be sending him back again on our next trip.
This is a great place to keep doggies while away. Out nervous boy Max goes there often and settles well. Cost is fair and he always looks well at pick up. Definitely worth a try
Pup is always so happy to go on holiday here! The girls are lovely, and always so accommodating. Pup is definitely well looked after - happy to drive the hour from Freo each way to take him here for a well deserved break (for both of us!). Pool, plenty of space, fed well, lots of attention. He always comes home happy and exhausted from too much fun.
My Dog seemed to love it here, that's what matters A.S.K were very helpful and caring. We had a wedding in the Swan Valley and the took the stress away by listening to us and having everything organised for our dog so we didn't have to think about anything Thanks you
I have sent my dogs here for boarding several times previously. A number of years ago it seemed to be okay, but more recently I've had less favourable experiences. Making a booking can be challenging, as they rarely reply to emails these days, which is generally the best way to communicate specifically how many nights the dogs will be in for. We ultimately gave up and booked over the phone. At drop of, staff tell you to keep an eye on social media for pictures of the dogs, (and it's true that they post plenty,) but they all seem to be the daycare dogs - Not the boarders. After sending multiple emails and messages on social media, enquiring about the dogs' welfare, they eventually send a message saying the dogs are going well, and sometimes even post the dogs to their page. Yay! Still, it's not easy to attract a response from these guys, and why should we have to ask when they've already told us to keep an eye out, of their own volition *shrugs*. Last time I left a dog with them (Nov-2021), he returned home with kennel cough and an injured eye, (almost as if he'd been poked in the eye with a stick). The vet prescribed conjunctivitis medication and he soon came good, but it was a little distressing as he's an older dog. I'm not sure why we used them again, but this time (May-2023), we sent two dogs. We had the same poor communication trying to book and then checking in for an update a couple of days into their stay. With just a couple of days left, we finally attracted a response, stating that they were loving it there and eating well... I found the "eating well" comment a little peculiar, since I wasn't concerned about that at all... until they asked. We then observed that they posted a couple of pictures of the dogs and immediately noticed that they looked skinny. They also charged us 19 nights instead of the intended 13, but have since reimbursed the balance. We collected them, and both, whose ribs are normally concealed by a healthy amount of meat, were grossly underweight and ribs were prominent. Both dogs have been exhausted since returning home and sleeping all day and night, indicating that they probably didn't sleep well at the kennel either. Probably freezing all night in their concrete kennel. I am so disappointed and will never send them here again. Please choose your dog's kennel wisely.
Always confident leaving our beloved dog here as he starts trying to clamber out of the car to meet the staff and new friends while we're still driving up the driveway! So we know he's happy to be there. Great facilities and great care taken - our dog requires medication every day and the staff are very precise and contentious.
We have been bringing our dog Denver to Apple Street Kennels for a couple of months now. He attends daycare a couple of times a week and it's been such a great thing for him. Being quite an anxious dog, he gets a bit overwhelmed in certain situations. However the staff have been excellent, very accommodating and understanding. It's been great to see how much he has progressed and we are very thankful.
Fantastic Place - staff where amazing at helping us settle our Rottie (and me) back into daycare after not attending a daycare for awhile due to moving countries! Our boy is so happy here!
We were very happy with the care provided by Apple Street Kennels. The team looked after Alfie well and he enjoyed his holiday. He came home smelling gorgeous and looked happy.
Our dog stayed for five nights. For a couple of weeks we were messaging and calling trying to confirm his booking, but no reply. We eventually managed to confirm, so he went in on Sunday afternoon. Despite assurances that we would be able to get updates and photos during his stay, it took four days from the first request for any photos to be sent, and the first photo sent through was the wrong dog. In general, the communication/customer service side of the business seems to be severely lacking. The worst was yet to come. We had been assured when he went in that if his health declined or he required any vet treatment, we would be informed as a matter of urgency. When I picked him up, he had diarrhea, was vomiting bile, had discharge from both eyes, had lost over a kilo in bodyweight and looked skinny, subdued, lethargic and depressed. Staff attributed the vomiting to kennel cough infection (they had posted on social media about an outbreak), but so far he exhibits no symptoms, and has recently been re-vaccinated against it. Vomiting bile is a sign of hunger in dogs, so considering the weight loss and lethargy, I question if he was receiving adequate food for his size. Even if he was starving himself as dogs sometimes do, we should have been informed. Later that afternoon at home, his diarrhea became streaked with blood, and then a red/brown liquid began leaking in volume from his bum, even when he was not straining to poop. I immediately suspected GI bleed and rushed him to the vet. Luckily, he is not dying, but was quite unwell. It was a sleepless night, waking literally every hour to help him outside to strain to relieve himself, despite there being nothing left to evacuate. He was miserable and looked to me with nothing but sadness and pain in his eyes. Thankfully, with some bed rest, medication, a probiotic and some quiet days at home, he should hopefully be fine. When you put your dog into boarding, you don’t expect much. Communication, adequate nourishment and advice of health conditions are among the things I would consider the bare minimum. I harbour genuine concern that if I had picked him up even a day later, his health might have been much worse. A much longer stay and it seems quite possible to me he could have returned to us in a significantly worse condition, or not at all. And we would probably not have been informed of any of it. Above all, the most unacceptable aspect of this scenario was the complete radio silence at almost every stage. I had to endure the trauma of feeling for a while that I might lose my best mate in the whole world after a boarding stay that should have been a non-event, and that is not something I will easily forgive or forget.
I have been a pet sitter through Pawshake for over 10 years. Great service and easy to use website. 90% of my clients come through finding my profile page on Pawshake. Everything is transparent and as advertised.
Finding Pawshake has led me to the most amazing pet sitter for my pet. Pawshake is a relatively easy site to use, where you select the sitter based on reviews and their information. Your experience will be determined by the relationship with your individual sitter. A meet & greet arranged before you book. I was so lucky to pick Rosie. I go away and rest assured my fur baby is in good hands every time. Rosie is amazing! My cat thinks so too!
We had a great experience with Pawshake. Nicola our sitter was so reliable and trustworthy. Her communication was great and she met twice with us to meet our dog Benny and cat Harmony. The system is user friendly and payment is automatic. Highly recommended. Will use again
I could not have been happier with my sitter. Came home to a very neat clean house and a very happy dog! Will definitely be using pawshake again. App was so easy to use.
We used Lauren from Forrestfield. She was fabulous. Visited every day and fed and played with our cat. She sent us updates, photos and videos. We trusted her with our cat and our home. She was so reliable and trustworthy. We have more trips planned this year and we will definitely use her again. So much better than a cattery.
Highly recommend Pawshake - we quickly found the perfect sitter in Hannah - first time our pup had been away from home and she was well taken care - we received regular photos and updates which was fantastic! Will definately be a regular customer.
I can highly recommend Pawshake app as it’s easy to use and helped us find a house sitter. It was our first time using the app and we successfully found a young lady who took great care of our home and our pets. Will definitely be rebooking in the future.
Pawshake App was a good find to locate the perfect dog boarding home for our Labradoodle Charlie. Everything from the booking, the meet n greet, Charlie boarding with Tina, to collection on return home from our short break away went smoothly. Very happy and will use Pawshake again for sure!
Pawshake is easy to use and great if you need a decent sitter at short notice. As a first time user of this service I was very impressed. Miles ahead of other services in terms of quality and efficient processes.
So happy to have found Pawshake and a terrific pet sitter that was prepared to look after our little dog in our home for 4 full days. We have already re-booked
