Natalie took great care of it dog and cats! She was clean, organized, conscientious, and communicative. Our dog had a small cut on his foot and Natalie took great care to help him heal. I would highly recommend Natalie as a house sitter and pet sitter!
Denise was by far the best pet sitter we have ever had! She watched our two pups while we were gone for 3 weeks and took amazing care of our dogs and home. She took the time to ask questions and make sure she understood each dog’s needs as well as how to take the best care of our house before we left. She sent videos everyday updating us on how the pups were doing. We were so happy to see how much quality time she was spending with them and how much they loved her. Our dogs were so sad to see her leave and we can’t wait to have her back. Denise made sure that the house was in perfect condition when she left and treated our home as if it were her own. If you are looking for a pet sitter, look no further. Highly recommend Denise!
We had the pleasure of having Maggie (for the second time) to take care of our home and beloved dog Frida while we were away for 2 weeks. We couldn’t be happier! Neither could Frida! Our big dog is sometimes a bit stubborn and Maggie managed amazingly. We had daily photos and video, and Frida was clearly very happy, comfortable and very well looked after. We highly recommend Maggie to anyone in need of trustworthy and dedicated house sitter and animal lover
Wendy sat for us on three occasions this Summer and I can’t say enough good things about her. The dogs were well taken care of and she was, organized, tidy, and responsible. It’s great to find a house/pet sitter that you can rest easy knowing everything is taken care of. We are hoping she will want to spend more time in the PNW!
Susan and Jim were amazing sitters for my 2 boys whilst I went to Portugal to play golf. Communication we had prior to the sit was excellent, and we were able to discuss the dogs in detail. They arrived the day before I was due to leave so we were able to have a good handover. They really looked after the dogs well, and my house was immaculate when I returned. I can't recommend them highly enough, just wished they lived in the UK so I could use them on a regular basis. Thank you Susan and Jim xx
Care and compassion for my dogs was at the top of the list of John's attributes. He was the first sitter I have used through zeewoi that was close enough to come meet the dogs before the sit. John not only came for an initial meet and greet, but he made time to meet the pups a second time prior to my departure to better familiarize himself with both the dogs and my home. Having put the fear of God in him about Penny's reactivity (I might have been a bit over the top, but better more attentive than less!), he was cautious with her in the beginning. Later in the sit, they trooped off to the beach on multiple occasions - all good! My 10-yr-old was on some meds for a serious battle with arthritis, and John managed Cooper's needs beautifully. John even made a call and a trip to the vet to re-up Coop's prescription when it was clear he needed to continue the protocol. I received daily updates by text, including photos and video; communication is hugely important to me. I feel blessed to have had John care for my fur-babies.
Christina is the best house and pet sitter that we have ever had. She leaves the house immaculate. She is independent, reliable, and totally professional. Communication is excellent. In terms of pet care, Christina is special. I think that she is a dog whisperer. Bridie, our crazy Wheaten, adores her and is sad when she leaves.
The two-leggeds and four-legged members of this household give Tess a 5-star rating! We think she's one of the best sitters you will find - highly communicative, friendly, competent, reliable, and great with pets. Tess was also flexible about start and end dates to accomodate possible winter weather complications. For this sit, Tess was able to bring along her mom, Cathy. Tess introduced me to Cathy during one of our Skype conversations prior to the sit. It was a bonus to have her here with Tess. Their travel to Marquette was complicated by weather. A fierce winter storm swept across Michigan just before the sit. It took Tess and Cathy two days to drive here but they arrived, as promised, in time for us to fly out early the next morning. We even had time for a lovely dinner together and to introduce them to the dogs and house. We left the next day and never had a moment's worry while Tess and Cathy were caring for our pets and home. Tess sent us regular updates and photos. The dogs immediately accepted them as great new additions to their pack of friends - even our cranky, old chihuahua, Nike! We returned to happy pets and a spotlessly clean home. We plan to invite Tess (and Cathy if available) to return for future sits. Thank you, Tess and Cathy!
To this list of attributes I would add flexible, capable, sensitive, extremely good with the dogs even if one of mine is sometimes a little ornery, and just a wonderful person all around. Because of constantly changing circumstances due to a move and coronavirus, my dogs ended up spending not two weeks but a whole month with John and they were so comfortable and happy. John helped them in so many ways and coordinated shipping them overseas, he went above and beyond the wildest stretches of what a house sitter entails and did it with a smile and a laugh and reassurances that all would be well. And indeed he was absolutely right - the dogs arrived so well cared for that all my fears of them being traumatized went out the window. John’s flexibility, and his kindness as well as his impeccable maintenance of my house in my absence all make me recommend him an absolute 10 out of 10. Thank you John for all your help this summer!! Lisa
Veronica House sat for us for a month. She cared for our two Dobermans and our cat. Veronica is so enthusiastic about animals. They immediately pick up on her joy and love for them. When some bold alligators made our dogs’ normal exercise routine unsafe, she was faced with the challenging situation of keeping two Dobermans with very different temperaments exercised and entertained in the height of Florida summer with its bugs, heat, and humidity. She met this challenge by taking the dogs for individual outings. She drove our young social dog to the dog park, finding the times when he would most likely have other large playmates and drove our socially anxious dog to the quiet areas of town for walks. This took a lot more time than our normal routine, but it kept our dogs safe and happy. A lasting benefit for us is that our younger dog, once a terror in the car, now rides much more calmly and our anxious dog, once fearful of what the car ride would bring, now happily hops in. Our cat was so content and well-groomed upon my return, it was obvious that she had been getting lots of daily attention, too. Veronica communicated with us on all the happenings with our pets and property every day. I came home to happy and healthy pets and a well cared for home. We feel so fortunate to have had Veronica as a house sitter and look forward to her sitting for us again.

My dogs and I love it here! I've used this boarding service a few times and every time I am very pleased. My two dogs are calm and happy. They are reasonably priced. The accommodations are perfect, and I have 2 large size dogs. All the staff are really nice and flexible if changes are needed to your reservation for whatever reason. I plan to use again for the coming holidays. Thank you 😊
The only place we bring our Yorkie, Ms. Sophie. Truly wonderful people, always accommodating, and should there be an issue, whatever it takes to make it right, is quickly offered. Very reasonable priced. Plus if you need to board your lives one they do that as well. We recommend to all our friends and those compliments ours.
Not only did I enjoy this place for my little man, but on the day I got him back, he had been bathed and smelled soooo good. They even gave him a bandana, which was super cute. This was my first time using a pet boarding place, so my daughter and I were very nervous to leave him, but the people and the atmosphere were just nice. I will definitely use again. Thank you!!! 😊
They were great! I called to schedule an appointment for dog grooming last week and was given an appointment straight away. They asked for dog drop pff between 7:30 - 9:00 and I was able to pick up my beautifully groomed pet at 2:00 pm. Their service was quick, professional, and we'll done.
They do such an amazing job! My pups look as cute as ever, smell great, and don't make the click-clack sounds when they walk on the floors! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. I don't think there is anywhere else I would take them in the state of Louisiana. Thank you, team!
I don’t normally write poor reviews, but our experience was so frustrating—I’d hate for someone else to have the same. We got our dog back and less than two days later, discovered he had been infested with fleas. We were told by a petco employee that the groomer should be responsible for giving us a free flea bath if our dog got them there, so we called and nicely told them about the fleas (assuming they would offer the free flea bath) the owner was shouting over a blow dryer in the background, saying “we don’t have fleas here. They must have gotten them from a stray neighborhood cat or something.” They went on to say that we signed a waiver saying that they weren’t responsible for any fleas or anything like that. First of all, our dog is 8 pounds and lives inside. If he goes out to use the restroom, he’s in a small gated yard. There are not stray cats in our yard, we didnt have fleas until letting our dog stay at their shop all day. So it seems that they should at least offer a free flea bath to have good customer service. I’m sad because we were hoping they would be our new permanent groomer, but we won’t be able to use them again.
The place was very clean and the staff was so friendly. When we picked up our little Sky he wasn't upset or nervous at all. They took great care of my and my daughters dog.A friend had recommended them and we will defiantly be using them again.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!! These people need to shut down and put in jail for animal neglect. Absolutely unacceptable to let this happen. They don’t deserve one Star.
NIGHTMARE - please find somewhere else to board your pets. Negligent, cruel, and uncaring is how I would describe this place who allowed two dogs to wait in what must have been excruciating pain for DAYS following a dog fight. These dogs were not taken to a vet who would have been able to treat and care for the dogs in a timely manner instead of allowing them to sit, become infected and make things worse. I urge you to keep looking if you are even considering this place as an option. Truly disgusting.
Fast, friendly service and they care about your fur babies!! They're reasonable to!
Great service from wonderful dog and cat loving people. Our puppies always come home looking sharp and wagging their tails. They give A Little Bit of Heaven 4 paws up!
I've had a poodle and Pomeranian that I brought to this place for over ten years. Last year, I had an employee of this establishment sit my two Poms while I was in the process of moving. She had them for three days, and on the fourth day, I called to tell her I was going to come by the shop to see them. She informed me they got out of her fenced back yard three days earlier and she could not find them (along with one of her dogs). They went into the neighbors yard most probably she said, which was also fenced, and somehow got out of that yard too. She told me not to call her again because she's done everything to find them and couldn't, and if I called her, she would have me arrested for harassment. Okay, doesn't take a genius to figure this out. After much investigating, on my own I might add because the Ball Police Department hasn't done squat to help me and will not return any of my phone calls, I found out that she sold my dogs to two separate families who live up North, and contacted them somehow through A Little Bit of Heaven. I still haven't found them and it's will be a year this Thanksgiving. I wish to God someone would come forward and tell the truth about where my babies are!!! If she still works there, do not trust her with your pets.
A little bit of Heaven is a wonderful place to bring your pet! They are extremely kind and courteous and not only do they take excellent care of your animals, after they groom them, they play with them to make your pet feel safe and happy as possible. They have great prices and I will highly recommend them to everyone!
Great groomers! Nice friendly service. Happy barking puppies in there all the time! Reasonably priced. My dogs love going there and getting their treat afterwards. Always a good experience.
Friendly staff. Our Maltese absolutely LOVES going here. We've brought him here about every other month for six years with no issues. I see mostly smaller dogs here when I bring him.
We LOVE LOVE LOVE the girls that work there! We've used them for over 10 years with my 13 yo miniature schnauzer and they treat my boy like their own 💕 …
I'm not sure if this place just doesn't need my business or just doesn't want it. I've called on two seperate occasions to see about scheduling an appointment and both times the person was rude and seemed to not want to assist me. Might I suggest a course in customer service.
I love them very much! They always do a fantastic job and treat my dogs like they’re own.
They cut my dog up when they shaved him now they want to be rude like it's my fault. Look like they didn't bath him before they shaved him.
Theyve always done a great job with mine and my sisters' dogs
They took such amazing care of our Booker!! Their location is lovely in a quiet street surrounded by trees, and inside is so quaintly decorated making you feel like your pup is at home the minute you walk through the door. Which totally helps to ease that separation anxiety for both of you! Our pup was curious so they literally gave him a tour of the place, allowing him to sniff it out and get a feel for it, again helping to ease everyone's mind. Wonderful staff, affordable pricing and quality care for your fur babies whenever you need! Only place me and my extended family members will ever trust to keep our pups!
Brought my duck dog in “goldendoodle”for a trim around the face, butt, and feet. They shaved my hunting dog to then skin completely ruining the duck season for him it takes him around 3 months to grow his hair back in time for duck season. He has no winter coat at allll nothing to keep him warm and he will have to sit out the entire duck season because of this. My dog was there for 10 hours and the rushed and cut him after the business hours and completely ruined it!!!!! I can’t even breathe I’m so dang upset!!!! Never ever ever bring your dog here for any reason!!!!!! They said he had a few ticks on him, he has meds I give him that kill ticks when they latch on. End of story they did not follow simple instructions taking it upon themselves. This wouldn’t be a big deal if it was after the season/winter time, but this was done completely brainless. Please I repeat do not bring your dog here. They charged me fiancé 90 dollars for something my 5 year old could have done!!! They left little patches of hair all over him it looks horrible!!!!! He is 9 months old and has been in training since 8 weeks and is a badass retriever with great potential who will now this will set the my hunting pups progress back, because it would be unethical for me to bring him hunting with no way to keep warm! They are lucky my fiancé is non Confrontational she called me crying when she picked him up!!!!
I boarded my cats and dogs here for a week long vacation. The staff was great and stayed in contact with me bc my dog was nervous and wouldn't eat. I don't think they could have done anything better.
They are all so wonderful! I have had my two dogs boarded there for a few years now and recently adopted a Bernedoodle that needs constant grooming and they did a BEAUTIFUL job! 10/10 recommend checking it out!
September 11, 2022 Since the righting of this review, I have adopted a female Labrahoula puppy. It has been many years since I have used their grooming services. They always groomed my precious Lucky, a Welsh Springer spaniel and they always did an absolute, superb job! They were great! He died in 2017, at the ripe old age of 18! Some months before he passed, I placed an ad there, for a large, female dog, that needed a fantastic home. I knew my Lucky was fading and I couldn't stand the thought of being without a companion and guardian as well. Eight months after doing so, I got a call one morning from them, saying, a lady just called about re-homing a female Rottweiler. Well, that wasn't exactly what I had in mind but thank God, I didn't turn her down!! Her name was Sabbath and she had wandered into a church in north Louisiana on a Sunday and the congregation named her Sabbath! She was the most wonderful dog that God ever breathed the breadth of life into!💜 She loved my kids and would have given her life to save ours! She had one eye and was about 2 years old, maybe 3 and had, had puppies once. That very first night, I had a prowler and with that typical Rottweiler bark/howl, she ran them off! She knew she was home! I wrote a story about her and entitled it ' The Holy Rottweiler '! She was my baby girl! Last year, after having eyelid surgery to remove two tumors, a month later, she contracted Addison's disease. That's a disease of the adrenal gland. Plus, she developed that Rottweiler hip disease and could no longer stand. She died 8 months later, of a massive coronary, she was 8 years old. I once again called Bark Avenue, to place another ad. They found my wonderful Sabbie and I truly hope, this wonderful place, can find me another baby girl! 😒💙
Love this place. Very nice staff. My dogs always look and smell nice when they leave there. Clean facility.
My first time taking my German Shepherd Sasha here and it won't be the last!! They did a great job bathing & brushing her!! She looked and smelled so pretty 😍 …
My Tyreon LOVES this place! The best staff ever. He is my service dog and I trust only this place to watch him. Its very hard to leave him there but I know he is loved and very well cared for. Thank you to all the staff! You are AMAZING!
My sister's little Lexi got groomed at this place. They did a phenomenal job. I was so impressed with how well she was groomed. ABSOLUTELY a great experience. Our family will use this groomer again. Good job.
We had issues getting into a groomer in NC but made one for as soon as we drove in to Alex for the holidays.. they took our grill in promptly and oh my when we got her back she was looking like a million bucks.. she had a winter coat was blowing it out for a warm weather coat. Sandy worked hard to get all that fur out and I'm almost sure she lost 5lb in hair! We will be coming back every year we come home.
She is an awesome lady, she is awesome at Grooming and very patient. My babies love her. She's always very happy and welcoming when you go to see her. She always tries to fit you in if you need emergency Grooming if sorts or something comes up of short notice she's really good about getting you in if she can.
I got there expecting to see my dogs cut smelling good like I was told and my dogs looked like i had just dropped them off long hair in there ears long nail on the side on my beagle hair still long don’t even look like he been cut I love my dogs I am so hurt I feel like cry so I am about to take them to dirty dogs in lecompte where I should have went from the beginning I just gave this place $50 for nothing a waste of my time and my dogs. Don’t even smell like they got a bath -
I brought my 4 month old puppy there for a first cut because she was the quickest to get in but after her cut she peed on me while trying to pour her collar on. She must've been scared to death. No telling what goes on behind those doors. Not going back. My poor baby! No Stars
Followed a great groomer there from another business. Very friendly staff. My shihtzu looked beautiful afterwards. The cost was reasonable. I felt very comfortable leaving my furbaby there. Close to home. Easy to get in & out. Will Def go back.
My dog is very scared my dog came back wasn’t acting the same she was shaking a lot. and then she cut all my dog hair off my dog had no hair you can see straight skin and than when I call to complain she hung up in my face. Don’t recommend for anybody dog.
Very nice lady but she did not do a good job shaving my dog. There were visible clipper lines and she missed hair underneath him and a very uneven fade line into the top of his head.
The best groomer in the area and I've tried all of them. So nice and friendly and can usually get your pup in the next day. I won't take mine anywhere else!
We used this groomer bc our regular groomer was closed during the major outbreak of COVID. Now my puppy is terrified of haircuts. Apparently they were mean to my puppy. 2 thumbs down & 0 stars.
Miss Sharon is the very best! She has a lifelong history of loving and caring for all animals.
Very kind and caring owner, always willing to accommodate customers. A true animal lover. Very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend this groomer!
The most professional and friendly staff. The only place I know both of my fur babies are getting the best treatment and care!
My Gracey was taken care of very well. I will always be grateful for Haas Animal Hospital and staff for their kindness during this hard time.
I LOVE Dr. Haas and her staff! I bring all my fur babies there. I have a cat with Cerebral Hypoplasia (Wobbly Cat Syndrome) and Dr. Haas diagnosed her and has been providing excellent care to my special needs baby. I would DEFINITELY recommend the clinic. Also, as I was leaving my appointment, the staff were waiting at the front door for someone to arrive. All I heard them say was “dog fight”. When the family came in, the techs immediately grabbed the bitten baby and rushed it back while carefully holding it, applying pressure to the wound. I hope the baby is okay, but I know it was in good hands!!
Lucy and I love Dr Haas! And her staff! You can tell they all love animals. They’ve always be kind and considerate. Dr Haas goes out of her way to explain anything and everything to a pet parent! I have a five yr old standard Australian shepherd.. female red Tri.. Dr Haas has been our vet for 5 yrs..
Gus, Duchess and the momma and daddy enjoy our visits with Dr Haas and her staff. She exudes caring for the health and wellbeing of our children. Every time I mention to the pooches that it's vet time, they get so excited they can hardly contain themselves.
Dr. Haas is the owner of this fur baby hospital, our baby Tator had 30 bladder stones in him and his urethra was stopped up. She said she recommended we take him to baton rouge but I insisted she do the surgery. Does a damn good Dr. Below you will find some of the stones she took out of him. We are thankful unlike other veterinarians she did not say let's try this food let's try this medicine she said let's get him into surgery now. Her price was very affordable. Sugar Land patient doctor and we'll explain every detail to you I highly recommend her. We Have finally found out fur baby family Dr. Her staff is very kind and does relay any message and the Dr. Herself will contact you. I don't know how she does it because she's always in surgery or seems. We are so grateful to Jesus and Dr. Haas, and her staff. We love y'all.
Dr. Haas was very caring and informative of our sweet puppy’s diagnosis. The staff also were friendly and helpful.
Dr. Haas was amazing!! She was so good with our Booker dog and so was everyone on her staff! She was thorough, gentle, attentive, has a fantastic bedside manner and its quite obvious she has the knowledge, experience, and skills. You can tell that she truly cares about our fur babies and its clear she's got a real passion and love for her profession. And most importantly Book LOVED her!! Which is what its all about , right?! If you're looking for a lifetime kind of vet, look no further! Dr. Haas is for sure the veterinarian you're looking for!! I know we have! Also, pricing was very reasonable and wait time was minimum! In case you were wondering! 😉
Haas Animal Hospital is by far the most hands-on and friendliest vet hospital I’ve been to. Myself and my extended family have been taking our dogs here for over a decade. Thank you to the staff for the incredible care they provide!
I am glad I stuck with Dr. Haas for my kitty Trumpet. She has been having a very long haul with diarrhea . Dr. Haas showed empathy and concern as well as extensive knowledge on what could be the possible causes and spent an hour with us. If Trumpet takes to the new diet and shows improvement we will be thrilled. The cost, which was one of my concerns, was the same as it would have been if Trumpet had been euthanized. Dr. Bari Haas is not greedy. She is genuinely interested. I was and am very thankful for for that. Here is the new set up for feeding times twice a day. I want to keep the healthy cats’ food separate from Trumpet’s. Trumpet is released when the feeding times are up.
They are good to my dog!
