Milo went for his first ever kennel experience for a two night stay! We just want to say a huge thank you for having Milo and for keeping us updated with pictures and other updates! Remy had his first stay at Belham Wood Kennels he had an amazing time. We were kept up to date with photographs of his activities and he was well looked after by the wonderful staff. Would definately recommend and will be using them again.

Mr Darcy our mini labradoodle loves it here and always has a wonderful time. They post photos on their facebook page of the dogs being exercised so you can see your dog enjoying it's self putting your mind at rest if you don't like leaving them whilst you are on holiday. I would certainly recomend them.

My girls went for their first night stay and we was greeted by Zoe, I felt at ease straight away, Zoe was lovely, professional and amazing with my girls. The kennels are clean, with plenty of exercise space to run and enjoy, I would never take my dogs anywhere else Belham Wood Kennels are the best and I know I can relax that my girls are being loved and taken good care of. A well run business that has genuine care for the dogs they have in. With regular updates whilst you're away and pictures sent over, there is real peace of mind that all is well with our dog when she stays. It is very popular, so it's always worth ringing well ahead of time to book in

I dont normally write reviews but belham wood kennels is fantastic as being first time dog owners they made us feel at ease and comfortable with leaving him with them. We also got sent pictures and i rang them to see how he was and it was like he has been there for years Would highly recommend them Thank you again

Great kennels great service. Loki loves going there so much so he doesn't even look back now once he's arrived. Loves the attention he gets there. Dogs are returned in a happy and healthy state. Whole process of booking in and picking up is well managed. You know your 4 legged family member is well looked after. Well done and thank you.

Before retirement I was a Licensing Officer and have carried out many visits to numerous kennels so I know what I should and shouldn't be seeing. I visited Belham Wood before taking our new puppy there and I immediately knew what a gem of a place it was. It is better here than any other kennels I have visited. There was a quietness about the place, no deafening barking and howling and there was no background smell of dog mess and Jayes Fluid. The sleeping areas are fully tiled, with raised beds. All the metalwork was in good order with no signs of rusting. I was also impressed with the attitude of the staff, Zoe in particular. The excercise areas are well fenced and secure with plenty of enrichment activities. We had an easy handover and pick up by appointment and both were relaxed affairs giving less stress to the dog and owners. We have booked 2 more visits this year and I would recommend Belham Wood to anybody looking for a caring establishment.

My dog has stayed at Belham Wood a few times now. He can be a challenging dog and they manage him really well. Its individual household turnout so I don't have to worry he will be reactive to other dogs and I know they understand his needs. Its a smaller, personal Kennels, quieter than larger kennels which is less stressful for the dogs and with the owners living on site I know the dogs are secure at all times. The facilities are great with large roomy kennels with an outside run, huge paddock for walks, lots of activities to keep the dogs brains active during their stay and really lovely staff. I can go away worry free when my dog is at Belham Wood.

If you are looking for Dog boarding and soon in the New Year Cats as well, look no further, run very professionaly by husband and wife Jonathan and Kathy, these are just the best pair to leave your beloved pet with, along with the above they offer Grooming by Kathy and Training with Jonathan from pet obedience to a fully trained Shooting or Competition Gundog. I cannot recommend them enough.

The kennels are run by husband and wife team Jonathan and Kathy. Jon is a dog trainer too and Kathy also grooms cats and dogs. The kennels are twice the size of any other kennels and when your pups stay, they are treated like royalty. I have 4 dogs and one of them is an anxious soul (he was 5 months old when we went into lockdown so we weren't able to socialise him like we have with our other puppers) and remarkably he is comfortable with Jon and Kathy because they really understand dog behaviour and treat each dog as an individual. Kathy also grooms all of our dogs, she is incredible with them. We recently adopted and 11 year old Jack Russell who had been severely mistreated. She was so nervous with her nails (the rescue place had only been able to cut her nails under sedation) bit by taking her every 4 weeks, Kathy has patiently got to the point where she can cut her nails with the minimum of fuss. Jonathan and Kathy are fantastic carers who have masses of experience and natural patience and empathy. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Amazing, when we dropped of our dog (Ralph) he was extremely nervous!! But Kay knew exactly what to do and what would work with him and she assured us that he would fine ? We texted her many times while we were on our break, she kept us up to date both with text and pictures, when it came time to pick him and bring him home we could not believe how happy and settled he was there . We cannot recommend them enough. Thank you 🙏 so very much.

Very informative, Jonathan has educated me and helped me massively, I didnt realise I had been doing so much wrong but Jonathan has soon put me right and we have a much better behaved dog within the first week of seeing him! Highly recommend

I would highly recommend as I could not fault the high service provided, especially when my booking was last minute. 5*'s is well deserved as Spiriteddawn Kennels provided 121 daily attention with you pet roughly 7 times a day. On top of that they also get 2 walks a day! There are only 15 kennels so this 121 attention can be managed. The charges are affordable and I would rather my money went to SpiritedDawn Kennels as they show passion rather than making profit. There are also grooming services along with 121 training available. I will certainly be using them again.

5* Excellent kennels. Small family run business. Not overcrowded, quiet & calming environment. Have used them a couple of times now & will continue using them. Great service and good communication with photos of your pets whilst you're away. Very reasurring.

We picked up our puppy after her first boarding experience and she was as happy as we could hope for. Jonathan and Kay were very helpful, we will definitely board her here again.

1st time dogs were in kennels so felt a little guilty leaving them but they were well looked after and didn't seem bothered to see me when I collected them lol .Will definitely use again when required.

Heidi has been amazing with my nervouse dog, she spent time getting to know him. Now she has built his confidence and he goes out weekly with her other dogs. Highly recommend!

Excellent service as always, Heidi is so professional and cares for the dogs in her care fantastically. Would highly recommend, I won't be taking my spaniel anywhere else and will rearrange my holiday to fit round her availability to keep him with her ! X

Our German Shepherd Susie is a rescue and very nervous of people, in particular men. We were nervous about how she would get on in kennels, but felt she was ready to try. We called Coombe Farm as they are known to the rescue we adopted Susie from, Lawrence has his own GSD and so we knew he would understand the breed too. After a chat with Lawrence over the phone he invited us to visit him at Coombe Farm with Susie so we could all look round. Lawrence's confidence really helped with Susie's nervousness and ours to be honest. We tried a 1 night stay and since that she has just been for the week. Safe to say she was well looked after and we will certainly use Coombe Farm again in the future.

We recently moved to the area and were looking for a kennels to use for short breaks or longer holidays. We contacted several in the area and Lawrence impressed us by calling us and having a good chat about what he could offer. Pebbles had a 24 hr try out this week and Lawrence sent us a short video so we could see she was having a fun time there out playing with a ball. We have no hesitation now in using Coombe Farm to look after Pebbles while we are having the builders in and hopefully for a holiday in the near future.

Lawrence who runs the kennel is fantastic, our Doberman is very sensitive and Lawrence knew how to manage him and immediately settled him. Owning German Shepherds himself, he understands dogs and we were so relieved to have him look a after our boy. The kennels are simple and clean, but it’s the people who are looking after your beloved dogs that are so important. Lawrence is a true dog lover and we are very happy that we found a kennel that can manage large breeds in the right way. Don’t worry, they also cater for the smaller ones too! Just dropped our boy off, he went straight to Lawrence wagging his tail, and was so Happy! Now stress or worry for us, he’s in safe, experienced, loving hands!

Very satisfying. Lawrence was very friendly and easy to get on with, and very knowledgeable concerning his dogs. Look forward to taking our cockapoo there when we go away.

After loosing my usual kennels, Coombe farm was recommended to me. Lawrence was very helpful when I first contacted them. I have just picked up my dogs after their first stay there and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I would recommend Lawrence, he was fantastic with jet My dog isn’t a people person, but he felt so comfortable in a secure environment We went away for 4 nights, jet got walked twice a day and he loved being in Lawrence’s company ! Would highly recommend !!

Very nice people who care about dogs. I fret all the time he is away but he never seems bothered by his time in kennels. My dog likes all the carers at Coombe and you can't ask for more than that.

Brilliant kennels. Friendly staff, great service. They took such great care of my German Shepherd. You can not ask for any more, above and beyond they do go. Prices are very reasonable. But book in advance as they can get busy, and that is understandable with the class of service. Treat your pet with a home away from home. 5 Stars

Being the first time of using Kennels I was worried about leaving my baby, however I did not need to worry at all leaving him in the care of Amblewood Kennels. The staff were really friendly, showed me round first, answering all my questions. The play area is lovely, and my Barney probably got walked more there than he does at home ❤. They asked of any dietary requirements and had an alternative food available as hes allergic to chicken. Barney is always happy to go back, I always tell him hes going on his holidays and I dont have any guilt leaving him there!

My Cockapoo Frank came back very happy after staying one week in Amblewood kennel! He definitely ate well and came back heavier than he was before)))) Stuff was very responsive and sent me photos of my boy while he was in the kennel. Before I picked him up he was brushed and washed as wether was rainy and I suppose he run in the muddy puddles) I am very satisfied with Amblewood and I trust this place!

my daughters dog came back so anxious after his stay here. it has been two weeks and he is still so skittish 😡 god knows whats going on here!!!!!! staff are SO rude as told by my friends, i warned my daughter not to take her dog here!!! i would give 0 stars if u could!!! …

Sent our boy here for 10 days for the first time and what a lovely experience from start to finish. Very helpful and informative staff. Our Greyhound certainly looks like he has enjoyed himself. The establishment is well run and all staff are very polite. Would highly recommend to anyone. Will certainly be going back.

My dog was boarded at these kennels for several weeks. She was so well looked after and I could tell by her photos on Facebook that she looked happy and content. Prior to going home she had a wash and groom and I have never seen her looking so good. I'm grateful to the wonderful, caring team at Amblewood

My dog has been to Amblewood many times in the last 5 years and I wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff who has been there! There has been unforeseen circumstances that they have handled very professionally, with flexibility and kindness. I highly recommend Amblewood! Also, a big thank you to Hilary and Elliott for going the extra mile making sure the dogs are well.

Sarah offers a reliable service and is extremely flexible to every need. Due to work commitments I would change my days regularly and this was never a problem for Sarah. Plus our dog went through a difficult humping stage and Sarah was nothing but understandable and offered her help at all times. Our dog is now back to his normal self and this through the help of Sarah and her other colleague Leia. She regularly updates me through pictures and a quick message to keep any worries at bay. I met Sarah in the village and when she first did a home visit knew she was right for Trigger, very experienced with dogs and highly recommended.

Our little man "Eric" gets excited if we even mention Sarah's name! Sarah is reliable, trustworthy, professional and fun, we would recommend her pet care services to anyone.

Fabulous service from Sarah, always looks after my girls so well. Takes them on great walks, they go to different places on a regular basis and they get to interact with other dogs so great for socialisation. Sarah is always there when I need her, even when I need to add a date at the last minute or make a change. I would highly recommend Sarah for one off or regular walks.

Sarah offers a reliable, professional and trustworthy service. She has never let me down and has become more than just my dog walker. Sarah is one of the few people I trust completely with my boy, and Reggie absolutely adores her. In fact he can’t get in that van quick enough! Reggie has benefitted from joining the group walks, his socialisation and behaviour has improved, all thanks to Sarah.

We have used Sarah's Pet care service for the past year to look after and feed our cat when we have been away. She offers a very reliable and professional service which we happily recommend. She provides regular updates while we are away.

Sarah does a fabulous job pet sitting our dog and cats whilst we are on our holidays. Regular updates with cute piccies make it a stress free time, knowing they are being loved and cared for. The dog unfortunately urinated on the furniture so refused to board it. It was also not neutered, we do not accept for board animals not neutered for obvious reasons.
