Leah & Elias, were an absolute joy as housesitters. They arrived a day early so we could all meet and go over the pets routine. Our cat is relatively new and has a little separation anxiety but they managed his care really well. Our dog needed to be dropped off at a sitters and they took care of that as well. We also came home to a clean and neat house! Overall, they went above and beyond and I highly recommend them.

David was a great sitter for our dog! It was just him for this sit. He was very communicative before, during, and after the stay. He visited the apartment before we left to meet our dog and talk with us, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and confident that our dog was in good hands. He sent us updates throughout the stay, and left the apartment in great condition. While our dog is on the older side, he can still be a handful at times, but David didn’t seem to have any problems. Would definitely recommend David for any future sit!

This is our second time welcoming Michele and we were so happy to have her back! Our dogs Pedro and Samantha love her and it is clear she loves them! Our house was immaculate upon our return and Michele made her famous lemon chicken recipe which we gobbled up and then we asked for the recipe. We can't say enough great things about her and hope you are lucky enough to get her as a sitter for your pets.

Joe was an excellent sitter and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away, dealing with one of our pup’s surgery recovery, which was an unexpected circumstance just prior to our trip. We felt fully comfortable and were so grateful to know that all of our dogs and our home were in such good hands during his stay. Highly recommend!

Lori is the best of the best! I would recommend her 100 times over! Lori is great at communicating and our dogs were extremely happy. She was very attuned to our dog’s anxiety and did a great job making the dogs feel safe and loved. The house was spotless when we returned. Lori also had the job of taking care of my numerous plants. I have to say the plants look better when I got home than they did before I left😂 Lori has a green thumb. Lori is so kind and just a wonderful person. Alexandria was by far our best sitter yet (and we've had excellent zeewoi sitters)! She was responsible, self sufficient and very responsive. She took the time to come meet our dog ahead of time and to run through the routine before our trip. She was communicative and sent great pics of her adventures with Rupee while we were away. She was extremely clean and followed our household routine. And to top it al off, she left us with a homemade vegetable soup for our jet lagged return home from Europe! Alexandria is a wonderful, kind and caring person that I am grateful to have met. I cannot thank you enough Alexandria!

Truly The Best House sitters Ever!!! Shannon, Travis and their son were absolutely terrific. I’m so lucky to have had the genuine pleasure of meeting them. Very warm, generous, open and loving people. My dog Wolfie usually barks at men who come in the house and I was a little worried about how he would be with Travis, but I had nothing to fear because within seriously 1 minute from Travis walking in the door, Wolfie was giving him kisses on the lips! I was so happy to receive their updates and photos and videos of my pets while I was away. They really went above and beyond taking terrific care of my many, many furry and feathered friends. When I got home, the place was sparkling clean, all linens laundered and beds made and they even left me sweet little surprises. I would welcome The Exums back with open arms anytime and highly recommend them.

This was our first experience with TH and we are very pleased. From the moment Rose arrived we knew she was the right sitter for our “kids”. Communication while we were away was great with pics of the dogs as well as text messages. Rose cared for our home and our “kids” with great care, she is very conscientious of your space. Extremely pleased with the care she provided to our “kids” and our home. We have another trip planned in a couple of weeks and are happy Rose will be staying in our home again. I highly recommend Rose as a sitter!

Jim sat for my extremely shy rescue pup and new kitten for two weeks -- my pup struggles with new people, and is very fearful of men in particular. And yet, Jim was more successful with her than any sitter I've ever had: I can't recommend him highly enough. He has wonderful patience, a calm energy, and is a great communicator. He consistently updated me with photos and videos of my sweet girls enjoying the world with him, taking my dog on hikes and adventures to her favorite streams. He went above and beyond both for her (in meeting her needs and taking the time to get to know her personality), and also in caring for my home. I returned to such a cozy environment, a repaired wood stove, an organized wood pile and an at-peace dog and cat. Choosing Jim as a sitter is ensuring that your pets and home are getting the best of care, and his actions exemplify his kindness, generosity and thought taken in consideration of others. I hope to have him return many times in the future; the experience was a privilege both for myself and my pets.

I cannot thank Jenny and Geoff enough for stepping in at the last minute after the original sitter cancelled. They are a great couple, friendly , organised and extremely capable. Also they LOVE animals. My dog and cat have clearly been given a great deal of care and attention in my absence. Jenny kept in touch with notes and lovely photos, Geoff cut my grass and I came home to a spotlessly sparkling house ! Thank you so much! Jenny and Geoff are welcome back anytime and I would not hesitate to recommend them as excellent sitters.

Read reviews and asked locally if others have used this facility. With affirmation I brought our new pack member there for an overnight stay. She entered like she knew them, to her she entered an amusement park. The people there treated her like their own. When I picked her up the next day, she had the look she enjoyed her time there, not cowering or looking scared but playful and happy. We will happily use Briar Cove Kennels in the future and highly recommend them.
My boys, Zeus and Sebastian love Doug and the crew here. They are so happy when they realize where we are going and they smell so good when they come home. Very reasonable prices!!
My little dog "Punkin" loves this kennel, she comes for a play day and over night stays. She loves this place and they love her. When I get her things back they are always nice and no nasty odors. If you want someone to take car of your fur baby this kennel is awesome, I give it a 6 star rating
We couldn’t be happier with the service we receive from here. Our dogs are well taken care of and enjoy their time at this kennel. They accommodate us well given we feed raw (diff diet than other dogs). They work well with our dog Louis who no one else can cut his nails. Thank you. Highly recommend for your loved ones (doggies).
They took exceptional care of our cane Corso. Highly recommend. When a 140 lb beast goes right up to someone without hesitation or aggression that's something. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our "children"
Love Briar Cove Kennels. Scarlett loves it too! They take really good care of her, and she always comes home smelling good. I've got Scarlett on a three meal regimen, and they actually take the time to keep her on schedule. Which I know has to be time consuming since they have other dogs to take care of. And they don't mind if I call or email to check on her multiple times. I'm really appreciative of them taking care of my little girl. The ONLY suggestion I have is that they take pictures of the dogs while at play or just hanging out and post them on social media. Would love to see Scarlett having fun because she has such a goofy personality.
This place is awsome! We couldn't find a pet friendly room for Labor Day weekend so we contacted Briar Cove to keep our dog at night. They were great and our dog loved it.
Dogs have been going there for their whole lives! Doug and crew are awesome as always.
Great people with a great attitude. They were very helpful when I needed to get vaccination records from my vet. The dogs seemed normal when I picked them up. No issues. It does smell like dogs in there but that's not a surprise.

Not only is the location on the facility's top drawer immaculate, but the staff is so loving and caring, and they take such individual care. I have two completely different dogs, and they love both of them, and they treat them like their family. I highly recommend the HAPPY DOG retreat. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and wouldn’t leave my dogs anywhere else
It is a ‘happy cat retreat’ too! I brought my baby, Teeter, here for two nights while attending a wedding and couldn’t be happier. They had comfortable, separate accommodations for cats which were extremely reasonably priced. Each cat gets a private cat “condo” with multiple levels and food/litter boxes are provided. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The entire process was hassle-free and my baby seemed to have a nice time too. Thank you!
I love my dog like she’s my child and I am SO picky about who I leave her with. The first time I dropped Josie off I cried (worried mom x10), but the team was clearly awesome and put my worries at ease with their positivity and obvious love for dogs and what they do. When I picked her up, she was clearly beyond happy and so well cared for! They are my only go to for boarding now. I travel frequently for work and can travel with peace of mind knowing she’s well taken care of while I’m gone ❤️
I cannot speak highly enough about this place. We were in a bind having to leave town for a beach vacation and the other place we were going to board our dog fell through the day we had to leave. I called Laura at the last minute and she moved mountains to get us in for the week. Our goldendoodle Hunter had never been boarded before and she made us feel at peace with leaving him. I called to check on him every day and they posted pictures of him playing on Facebook, which eased our minds. This place is VERY clean and the staff were all incredible. They loved Hunter like family and we will definitely bring him back. We live almost an hour away from Happy Dog but it’s worth the drive to know he’s safe, loved, and cared for!
My dog just started day.Care at this place and it's awesome. The people that run it are great, very friendly, very helpful.And they love all of their animals. He's very happy there and he can't wait to go every day.
I was worried about boarding my 14-year-old dog.. as he had never been boarded before. I couldn't be happier with the service they provided and the care they took of my dog. I would recommend them highly to anyone who wants good care for their animal
