Highly recommend Nettie for dog sitting. Nettie recently looked after our 2 year old Labrador, for the 2nd time, the first time she was 8 months old. Nettie knows how to make a dog feel welcome and at home. She's incredibly attentive and sensitive to her needs, loves the pets in her care unconditionally and is very communicative in sending updates, videos and messages to us while we were on holiday. Highly recommend Nettie to look after your pet. We were anxious to leave our Romanian Rescue due to him still being fairly nervous with new people. He couldn't have been happier - Nettie quickly built up a bond with him and he was clearly at ease before we had even left. She kept us up to date with photos and videos of the lovely adventures they went on. Already booked in for October :)

Nettie cared for our dog in our home. She was on time and provided updates during the day. It was clear that our young dog was very comfortable with her and that she had a good day. She had walks, meals and play which was exactly what was needed.

I wouldn't hesitate to have Nettie looking after my dog again and I would highly recommend her services. Reliable, professional and stepped in (very) last minute to help me out when I was really stuck. I've got a blind romainian rescue dog with special needs who I have been very anxious about finding the right sitter for, I hate leaving him for a night or two... But then along came Nettie... She truly understands dog behaviour, very experienced with dogs and she is one of very very few people who knows how to walk him safely. She is such a lovely person to deal with. She is extremely kind and a true doggy person. Also, even though I tell her to not worry about cleaning up or anything, she still does bless her. She will treat your home with utmost respect and love your dogs.

Nettie is amazing with our dogs, a natural. She is relaxed but still very switched on with what they needed, from walks to cuddles and snacks!

We were recommended to use Cottage Kennels by a local kennels that was unfortunately ceasing trading. We contacted Doug who recently accommodated our two dogs for the first time for a ten day stay. From the outset, Doug was very engaging and obviously has the dogs interest at heart. He listened to our summary of their individual personalities and needs, and we left very reassured that our dogs were in good hands. When we collected the dogs from their first stay, Doug gave us helpful and informative feedback on their time with him. We left very impressed, and will certainly be using Cottage Kennels for all our boarding requirements in the future. Thank you Doug.

Recommended by our neighbour, Murphy, our Lab cross, has been staying under the care of Douglas at Cottage Kennels, when we holiday since 2017. Murphy happily wags his tail on arrival and we have had no worries or concerns, as we see the dogs are kept in clean and secure surroundings. Douglas has many years of experience and has given us good advice with Murphy as he is our first family dog.

This is the first time using cottage kennels and I was a tad apprehensive as we'd had a bad experience with a previous kennels but I need not have worried. I collected my 2 and they were so happy . I thoroughly recommend cottage kennels. The owner after a few days sussed my springer out . I will definitely be using them again. Thank you for taking care of them

First time stay for our 2 GSD’s and they left happy and clean (we have used other boarding facilities in the past and the dogs have left rather smelly)! Doug is a really knowledgable, friendly guy and I have absolutely found our new regular boarding kennels :-)

Great kennels. We dropped Maggie our Vizsla off for two weeks and she was very well looked after. She smelled fab when we picked her up, thought it was my husband’s aftershave, but after much sniffing realised it was the dog 🤣 Highly recommended …

I have two springers, aged 7 and 8 who had never been in kennels before. To say I was apprehensive was an understatement! There was no need. Doug was so good with the dogs, explaining all that would happen. he makes a point of getting to know each of the dogs in his care which was evident when we visited to look around. He texted me when I was on holiday with reassurance that they had settled well. when I collected them they were clearly comfortable in their surroundings. I will be going back. I cannot recommend him enough. I had viewed another kennels before there and the difference was obvious. Thank you for being a genuine animal lover !

We recently started with Kirsty. She comes round a few days a week whilst we are at work in the middle of the day to feed and play with our little puppy Peggy. This is the first time we have contacted Kirsty, she has been fantastic with our loves, attentive, professional and very loving with them. We are very happy to have met her and we are sure that Yuki and Sky can't wait to see her again.

Kirsty looked after our beagle, Fudge at our house for 8 days this year whilst we were on holiday. He was so much more comfortable at home than in kennels. It was such a hot week in the uk but Kirsty made sure Fudge was cool and cared for, even using her own cooling collar to try and keep his body temperature down as he’s prone to seizures, and sleeping downstairs with him as it was cooler. We got regular updates and photos during the week too. She was absolutely fantastic with him and we will definitely get in touch when we next go away.

Fantastic! Couldnt want for more from a pet sitter. Kirsty looked after our cats at very short notice as we were going away and had just moved. They were very well looked after and played with. Also daily updates were perfect as we were nervous about leaving our fur babies alone in our new place for the first time. Will definitely be using kirstys services again and would highly recommend! Edit: kirsty has continued to look after our cats for the last year since we moved and she does a great job keeping them happy and healthy while we are away. I can’t thank Kirsty enough for the service she offers. I used to be able to take my dogs to work but with a change of job I had to find alternative plans. It was something that was holding me back from taking a job opportunity. When I first made contact with Kirsty she was friendly and approachable from the first message! I was worried about my dogs as they can be ‘too hyper’ for some people but when Kirsty came for a meet and greet she understood them right away which really put my mind at ease. I get updates from Kirsty while she’s with my dogs and I can see how happy they are! She even gets my stubborn, old chihuahua to play with toys! I am absolutely over the moon with the service I receive and I know my dogs enjoy their visits from Kirsty! Thank you again!

Kirsty recently looked after our dog while we were away on holiday. Kirsty was wonderful with him. She sent us lots of pictures and videos of them out on their walks and playtime. Heard of Kirstys pet services through a neighbour and very pleased we went ahead and contacted her. She is great with our two cats, and we can be very assured that when we go away they will be looked after. We have regular photo updates and she really goes the extra mile to put our minds at ease. One of our cats is on medication and this was also no problem for her. Will always use Kirsty from now on!

Needed a cat sitter at very short notice, just to come round and feed our two every day. Was worried as obviously we didn't know Kirsty and let's be honest, your not only trusting them with your "family" but also your property. We quickly arranged a initial meeting and straight away you know she is a genuinely nice person who clearly loves animals. While we were away she kept us informed of our cats every day, really good communication, and went over and above. She put our minds at rest so we could enjoy our break. I’ve been using Kirsty for my two house cats for about eight months and she is brilliant. As a pet lover and cat owner she understands how precious my two are to me and takes excellent care of them. She is also very professional, reliable and trustworthy - I have no worries at all about leaving my keys with her. Kirsty uses a brilliant app to record her visits, including photos and notes so you know exactly what she’s done. Amazing service so I highly recommend her to any pet owner.

When I was let down a week before my holiday, I contacted Sit Stay! Animal Care with little hope but I had a helpful reply straight away. Chris is accommodating and caring and I can't praise her highly enough. We met up a couple of days later and my dog took to her straight away. I was so relieved to leave Lucy with such a kind and competent person and the almost daily texts and emails meant I didn't have to worry at all during my holiday. Nothing was too much trouble and I would thoroughly recommend her.

I was injured recently and so was unable to look after my mare properly. I was passed Chris' details by another livery on my yard who had used her when she went on holiday and recommended her to me. Chris was absolutely amazing and, due to the unexpected circumstances and urgency for help, she came out to visit me and my mare the very same day that I contacted her. I was reassured by her calm nature and easy going personality. My mare, who can be a bit of a handful, also took to her and was relaxed throughout the week or so that Chris helped me. Chris is punctual, tidy, confident with horses and very reasonably priced. I would have no hesitation in recommending Chris and would definitely use her again in the future.

I have 5 dogs as well as chickens to care for, and have used Mrs Day's pet/house sitting service on many occasions both to live in and for short daily visits. I have complete confidence in her and know I simply 'leave her to get on with' whatever needs doing. Her animal care is exemplary, she is reliable, confident and caring, putting the needs of her charges first. She is always ready to help and has a 'can do' approach stepping in at very short when asked. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Chris is a genuine lovely lady and done fantastic job not just looking after our 3 cats but also our home while we was on holiday, she even sent us emails just saying how it was going which gave us such peace of mind. She even had no quibbles over having to administer medication to one of my cats. I would highly recommend her and will definitely use again.

I can't rate the service Chris provides highly enough. Our animals love her! She is extremely reliable and takes the trouble to get to know your pets and individual requirements before her first stay. Our two dogs have very different needs: one a good long walk and the other, due to old age, a quick game of ball on the field opposite our house. This can be time consuming but Chris, anxious to maintain the dogs' regular routines, is happy to oblige. She's a considerate house guest too. (Mindful of how much washing holidays generate, she offered to bring a sleeping bag for a short stay.) Pet care when away used to be a real worry for us - often meaning we couldn't make family functions - but, happily, this is no longer the case.

Totally reliable and absolutely brilliant with all our assorted animals we cannot recommend Chris highly enough. It is such a relief to know that we are able to go away and we do not need to worry about them or indeed the house and garden...her service is invaluable... We are quite new with Adam and recently he jumped in to care for our four kitties last minute. Adam is kind, intuitive as to our girls’ needs, and our requirements as client, so along with videos daily to see the kitties, we know how they are and the settling in time. We have two of our four that are previously abused kitties, and one still very nervous - hiding behind the bed most of the time even though Adam is so kind. She’ll come round over time. We would highly recommend Moggy Daycare and so lucky to have found Adam💐🥰

Just got back from a four day trip, first time leaving four out of my six cats and first time using Moggy day care. I couldn't recommend them highly enough! Adam has been great and clearly cares for the kitties like their his own! Daily updates with pics/videos really put my mind at ease and even the nervy cats of the crew are calm and happy and not set back at all! Adam looked after our two cats for 4 days in our home so we could get away for a break. We knew we could trust him from the initial meeting and he did a fantastic job. He stayed in touch and posted regular photo updates so we knew everything was ok. I'd highly recommend Moggy Daycare and will definitely be using again.

We would highly recommend these lovely cat sitters! Very professional, trust worthy and clearly cat lovers! Emily and Adam looked after Alfie & Pumpkin while we went on holiday for a few days. We were updated twice a day every day with pictures, videos and messages to make us feel at ease! They successfully gave Alfie his asthma pump everyday and followed very specific feeding instructions. They made an effort to make the kitties feel as comfortable and happy as can be. We arrived home last night to two very happy and content kitties! Thank you so much Emily and Adam! :) xx

Adam is an excellent cat sitter and has repeatedly gone out of his way to help us out on numerous occasions. You can tell he loves cats, and our cats (even the nervy ones) adore him too. He sends updates on each visit to give peace of mind. I'm so happy to be using his service and it makes me confident whenever we are away the cats are well looked after. Highly recommended 😸

We are really pleased with how well Adam looked after our cats. He visited them twice a day for five days and we had regular updates with photos and videos. One of our cats has extra medical needs and Adam and Emily were really thorough with making sure she took all of her medications and going above and beyond to make sure she got her liquid medication that needs to be syringed directly into her mouth (not an easy task!) Whilst we still really missed our cats whilst away, knowing they were being well looked after meant we didn't worry about them at all! Our cats are quite shy and can be slow to warm up to new people, but they both warmed up to Adam over the course of the days we were away, and we got plenty of videos of them enjoying a good fuss. We will definitely be asking Adam to look after them next time we are away!

We turned to Moggy Daycare when we realised that our rescue cat Billy would be completely traumatised by being sent to a cattery. He is terrified of cat cages and change, he is also wary of people he doesn’t know. Our holiday was for 3 weeks and we didn’t want to put him through the stress of a strange environment and honestly having Adam look after our 2 cats is the absolute best thing we could have done. The boys were able to stay at home with familiar surroundings and despite Billy being wary Adam soon won him round. We had regular updates with pictures and videos and you can just tell straight away how much love Adam genuinely has for cats. It was lovely to wake up each morning not having to worry if they were ok and receiving the updates to confirm this. I’m sure if Bear and Billy could talk they would be extremely grateful too! Thank you for a top class service!

Adam is amazing and our cats absolutely love him. We love the security that Adam knows our cats and they are in safe hands. He looks after them so well and we adore the special touch of photos/videos of our fur babies while we are away. From our first meeting, where he came to get to know the cats/us, to the updates and kitty photos, he has been professional and we couldn't ask for more.

We weren't sure how well our rescue cat would take to a cat sitter coming around, but Moggy Daycare came highly recommended, and now I can see why! Adam is very caring and professional, taking time to visit you and your cat before you go away. While you're away, you get lots of updates (videos and pics) from Adam. He clearly loves cats and does an amazing job with each one he visits. Definitely recommended - a true safe pair of hands and very reasonable prices.

We have been really impressed by the care and professionalism of Adam at Moggy Daycare who stepped in last minute when our regular sitter was suddenly unavailable. He went above and beyond to help in a difficult situation and was able to put our minds at rest with his daily updates and videos which we enjoyed each morning. We cannot recommend highly enough. Two of our dogs are with Hal and Isaac everyday and love going. It’s great to know they’re being so well looked after - and having fun- whilst we’re at work. We even get photos everyday of them playing with their doggy pals. Absolutely first class.

Tilly’s tails is absolutely wonderful! My dog loves his adventures - Tilly is always so professional and I always feel Rune is safe and looked after. Tilly also takes the extra time to tell me about runes adventures as well as the fabulous emails and photos from each walk. I cannot recommend Tilly’s tails enough for any dog walking or dog training needs. It’s 10 stars from Rune too!

Tilly is absolutely fabulous with my boy! He gets so excited to see her van pulling up and comes back happy every time. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a dog walker and trainer!

My Dog Rex absolutely loves his walks with Tilly, he jumps straight in the van without a backwards glance! I do worry about people walking him usually as he has a tendency to wander being a beagle cross but I’d trust Tilly with him any day! He always comes home happy and really enjoys the group walks

Fenton has been going out with Tilly for awhile and I wouldn’t even consider using anyone else. She has been so patient and understanding with him and he is 100x better for going out on his social runs. Monday and Thursdays are his favourite days of the week! 10/10 would recommend.

They looked after our 'new to kennels' very scared little dog with sensitivity, flexibility and kindness. We are grateful for his first experience to be a very positive one, and we can highly recommend the kennels and staff. Lovely kennels but not such a marvellous experience as last year when a gentleman cared for our difficult dog wonderfully. This years staff not as knowledgeable, so she missed out on a lot. Will use again though very definitely.

WORST EXPERIENCE- I called and asked how much it would be for our dog too stay Saturday morning til Tuesday- they quoted me £90 over the phone and said I had too book in for a taster day-which I did! I explained she was a female rotti but no bigger than labador size( very petite), but when I dropped her off for her taster day the owner changed her mind and said I need to pay £35 a day( classed her as a giant dog) So we dropped Millie off Saturday 30th March ( Easter weekend) the girl at the desk said I need to pay extra £35 due to bank holiday- this was never mentioned on the phone or on the taster day, apparently they didn’t realise it was Easter weekend when I booked ( not my problem) . They never respond to emails… awful customer service-wrong prices quoted! Overall terrible experience- looking at previous reviews someone else was over charged a year ago so this isn’t the first time they have done this….. BE CAREFUL!!’ ALSO PAID CASH AND NEVER HAD A RECEIPT …….

We booked Bella in for a taster day prior to us leaving her at the kennels at the end if the month. I had a tour of the facilities and was reassured by talking to the owners that Bella would be well looked after and walked at least four times a day. When we collected her she was relaxed and happy.

Recently put 2 x cats and 2 x dogs into Strawbyn cattery/kennels for 2 weeks. Dogs seem very 'chilled out' when I collect them after 2 weeks.... Dogs have lead walks and there are a couple of secure fields at the kennels where dogs can run free during their exercise times. Kennel sizes vary depending whether you bring 1, 2 or a family of dogs .....

Jane and John are excellent and experienced doggie hosts. We are holidaying in the area and they took our dog on trust for a couple of doggie day care days without a taster day, which we really appreciated. . They have been brilliant with Benson and he certainly enjoyed his experience at Strawbyn. Highly recommended

rude and unhelpful woman answered the phone and wanted to charge me for two days for a 24 hour stay.needless to say i went elsewhere

We recently used the services of Strawbyn to kennel our two dogs Archie and Tilly for two weeks in the summer. What a fantastic place so clean and professionally run by John and his team. Both Archie and Tilly were well looked after by the team and are looking forward to there Holiday next year. I highly recommend Strawbyn to look after your little treasures.

I use Strawbyn Boarding Kennels a lot over the annual period, These guys are amazing with what they have achieved and they are such a professional outfit. I have a beagle called Vinnie and every time i drop him off here he is excited beyond belief, I actually think he suffers from withdrawal symptoms as his holiday was such a great experience. Rachel is just the best! Our pup has been going to her since day dot and she has been amazing in growing her confidence around other dogs. Service is above and beyond and our spaniel basically climbs over us to get into daycare now and doesn’t look back she loves it so much!

Every dog owner needs Di & Mark in their lives !! Both are super knowledgeable and ensure that your dog is well looked after in their care, treating all of them like one of their own. My dog Juno goes there three times a week for day care whilst I am at work and boards a couple of times a year too - I am able to drop her off at 7:30am, which is a huge advantage. Juno gets excited when I drive up the road and when I pick her up at the end of the day, she is so tired I have to almost drag her to the car ! All of the dogs in their care get to mix with their own age groups/energy levels in large separate areas throughout the house and garden and even get to go out on long daily walks over the local fields. Nothing is ever too much for Di & Mark and I personally wouldn't trust anyone else to look after our dog now. Thank you for such a fantastic service (Bonnie, Simon & Juno)

Our dog Bella has been going to Padi day care since she was a puppy- almost 5 years ago! Bella loves her time playing and chilling with the other dogs. Di and Mark are always there for practical advice when needed and their home is a doggy haven. Their job is not an easy one, but they all work very hard to make sure the dogs needs come first and we trust them with a very precious member of our family completely.

My dog goes to Paddy day care 3 times a week and loves spending time with the other dogs. I've noticed an improvement in him since going too, he is happier and more chilled. He is nervous of people he doesn't know but settled in really quickly and adores Di and Mark. It's lovely how Di posts photos of the dogs during the day on Facebook, makes yummy home made dog treats and gets the paddling pool out for the dogs. I'd definitely recommend this reliable, friendly and professional service.

I have been using Padi day care for my Dog for just over 2 years. Di and Mark cannot do enough for your Pets. My dog loves going there. Di and Mark will also do their best to accommodate last minute changes of plan. Short notice overnight stays etc. I now have two dogs and they both go to padi. I have no hesitation in recommending padi. Keep up the good work.

We have used Padi dog day care frequently over the last 6 months to look after our rescued Galgo for us during the day or overning when we are working or cannot take her away with us. We have always been very happy with their knowledgeable, friendly and flexible service, and our dog always returns to us in a happy and unstressed state. I can not recommend Di and Mark highly enough. My Beagle Rudy has been going to daycare here, 3 days a week, for a little over a year and he loves it. I have been taking my dog Bella to Padi Home Boarding for Day care for nearly 4 years now and Boarding when we go away and she absolutely loves it! It gives me comfort knowing she’s being looked after in the best possible hands. Di And Mark are lovely, polite and professional and real Dog Lovers, they treat Bella as one of there own. I couldn't recommend Padi Home Boarding enough!

Took my little Yorkie to Diane & Mark for holiday boarding for the very first time and I'm really impressed with how well she was looked after. Saw pics on social media while we were away and Di was happy for us to call to see how she was doing. My yorkie has had a fantastic time staying there and I've already booked for our next holiday. I have no hesitation in recommending them - absolutely brilliant!

Diane and Mark have been looking after my Labrador Max for over 3 years and Max loves it! We trust them so much with our Max and would recommend them to anyone!
