my dog has been going with van Island for awhile now and I cannot say enough good things ! Ali and Chad have been so accommodating and flexible. They are super easy to get in touch with and are extremely reliable. I never worry about Ever and he is SO excited to go with them and comes back tired and mentally fulfilled. He is an extremely high energy dog, so knowing he will go out with them and be able to get rid of all that extra energy in a safe environment is such a relief for me. They do a great job catering to every dogs different needs. I cannot say enough good things about them and would recommend them to anyone who needs an extra hand getting their dogs out!

Words cannot explain how much my pup Alfie loves the Van Island Pups team. From the very beginning, Ali & Chad welcomed Alfie and cared for and loved him immensely. The love that they have for every pup is so clear that it radiates - so much that we cannot leave our place without Alfie looking around to check if it's a Van Island Pups hike day. I feel so lucky that we've found these incredible people. Truly the best!

Van Island Pup has saved my life. Working a full time job while having a puppy, is not an easy task. Chad and Ali have been very accommodating to my schedule. My Reesie LOVES his pack walks. He gets soo excited when its pack walk days. The entire process is always very seamless. It is not easy to find good people to take care of your pup these days, but I am very glad to come across Van Island Pups.

I am so grateful for Van Island Pups! I have a large 2 year old German shepherd who requires so much exercise and stimulation every day. Van Island Pups welcomed him into their pack like he’s one of their own! He gets the perfect balance of play and structure on his hike, while also getting to practice healthy socialization with other dogs! He is absolutely pooped when he gets home. Ali, Chad, and the Van Island Pups team have been incredible. From prompt, thoughtful and professional communication to the patience with our 1.5 yr collie x, Avalanche, I couldn't recommend them more! Ava isn't the most comfortable with new people, and VIP pack leaders have given her the space to grow her confidence within a couple short months. We're so grateful and Ava can't wait for her next adventure hike!

I couldn't say enough good things about Ali and Chad. I was referred to them by my pup's previous dog walker, and I'm so grateful to have their services. I have trialed a lot of different options from doggy daycare to individual dog walkers, and Van Island Pups has been the safest and most reliable option. I was a bit worried because my rescue pup is very timid/shy, but Ali and Chad were so patient and kind with him. They take him to a safe location for a good hike on days that I'm working, and he's relaxed when I get home. It's so nice to not have to worry about a single thing.

My dog Rufus started regular walks with Van Isle Pups earlier this year, and it’s been fantastic! I've really appreciated their reliability and professionalism. My pup spends his mornings at the window, tail wagging madly, waiting for his new best friends to arrive to whisk him away on the day’s adventure. He obviously has a great time with Ali, Chad, and the rest of the pack, because he always arrives home happy and exhausted.

My puppy Goose has been going hiking with the awesome dog pack with Van Island Pups since January 2021 and he absolutely loves it. When I first dropped him to Chad and Allison, he was only a small puppy and I was so worried to be away from him. But Allison sent me updates through the day and put my mind at ease for which I am so grateful. He comes back exhausted and happy and I know they take good care of him every time he hikes with them. They are professional, reliable, trustworthy, and overall just great people and I absolutely recommend them!

Van Island Pups is amazing! Ali and her team are so professional, great at what they do, and love our dog as if she were their own- our pup is so excited to see the team and the pack that she literally jumps into the van before we’ve got her leash off. Our pup comes home super tired after her day at Van Island Pups and with more skills! We’ve had many dog sitters and walkers and honestly Van Island Pups is the best we’ve ever had. The communication is excellent and they are so accommodating. If you want a dog walker team that’s patient, skilled at training dogs, takes their pack on exciting and stimulating hikes, and has safety as their number one priority then check them out- I highly recommend them.

I love Chad and Ali at Van Island Pups! I have one of the most challenging breeds around and they have figured out what works best for her and truly seem to love her as one of their own, despite her quirky ways😊. She is difficult to tire out but they seem to be able to do it! I work varying shifts and they can always accommodate my little girl even with short notice. We are so lucky to have found Ruffin' It! Recommended by both our vet and a close friend, my partner and I knew our puppy would be in good hands when we are at work or travelling. They are a one-stop shop with daycare, grooming and boarding. Our puppy is so excited when we drop him off and we love seeing pictures and videos of him on their social media. All of the staff are super friendly and are quick to answer any questions or concerns. 10/10 would recommend.

If you need daycare or grooming go here. Don’t even think about anywhere else. They take such good care of your dogs like they are one of their own ( it’s not just an advertising gimmick) I get sent messages and pictures of my girl when she’s being ridiculous, Instagram stories of them throughout the day and really personable staff. Lobo land is the best thing ever! Off leash safe play with all the daycare friends. What more could you ask for when leaving your pup in the hands of someone else? We won a free groom for my bernadoodle and needless to say I will not be going anywhere else from now on. She’s normally scared of the dryer but was apparently an absolute star for the groomers at Ruffin’ it. I put it down to the loving environment and the care they truly have for these animals 1on1. We give them 5/5 woofs

We were out of town visitors. After a short temperament evaluation they accepted our two dogs into the day care. We also got grooming for one of them. Overall it was a very positive experience.

Our pup loves it here and the staff are always so kind and understanding. We always hear a new story about our dog every time we come to pick him up, and we always trust that our dog is comfortable in their care

We showed up with Jesse. A female white lab a beautifully tempered dog. We were barely ackniwlefed . Then the groomer came out a woman who said hello open the door crack and slid out and then open the door crack and slid back in. We couldn’t see anything.. She She said barely 2 words to us, took Jesse and was ready, and she was ready in an hour. Wish a comment about how Jesse likes to sit down. The old girl likes to sit down. Jesse is only six keep in mind.. And made a comment about her having bread which she was before she came to live with us. And cost $100 it was also uncomfortable and we got out to the car. Jesse shook. In Hair flew everywhere and she was still damp.. Not impressed save your money and go elsewhere

We've got a bit of an anxious pup, one who prefers the outdoors to a chaotic indoor daycare. His first day at loboland is today, but we have complete confidence in the staff keeping him safe given how attentive they've been to his needs. Their communication with us has been superb. The facility is great too, in that it provides multiple areas available to the dogs for when higher or lower energy pups can have their own space. Compared to another doggy daycare we used to go to downtown, the experience has been a very welcome contrast.

Minus 5 stars for me. I called to confirm my dog's appointment and I spoke with the person in charge. I don't like my dog to be crated when we go to the groomers. In the past, I've only taken my dog to groomers that groom my dog right away. I explained this to the owner and he said the groomer would take my dog right away, that it was an in-and-out situation with no crating. I told him that was what I wanted, no crating. When I arrived for my appointment, I met the groomer. I also explained to the groomer I didn't want my dog to be crated. She said she didn't have any other dogs and would groom my dog right away. When I asked when to come back, the groomer said in an hour. I went back in an hour, only to be told by a staff person, it would take another 2 to 3 hours and I found out my dog was crated against my specific instructions. The groomer came out to speak with me and explained, they work on dogs in stages and rotate the dogs depending on what stage they were at and this process takes 2 to 3 hours, and crating the dog between stages. This was not what we discussed when I dropped off my dog. The groomer said there was never an agreement to have my dog ready in an hour. I was shocked. If the person in charge, or the groomer, had told me from on onset, the process was going to take longer than an hour, and my dog would be crated, I never would have agreed to leave my dog. The person in charge, came to speak with me. I reminded this person of our morning telephone call and the person in charge admitted there was a mistake. The person in charge asked me if I would leave my dog so they could complete the grooming but was unwilling to ask the staff to complete the grooming right away, while I waited. I was still expected to wait another 2 to 3 hours and my dog was going to be crated again. When I made the decision to leave I was told I was a bad customer. I left with a half groomed dog.

Great daycare with a wonderful team! Ruffin it was such a support to our family when we first got our puppy Finnegan. We could tell the staff there really cared about him and that he was happy and well supported during his time at the day care. Finn was timid and unsure around other dogs when we first got him and the day care really helped Finn to build up his confidence with other dogs. The team at Ruffin it was always very friendly, responsive and flexible and would always greet us at the end of the day with an update on how Finn's day went. We are very happy with our experience with this organization and highly recommend them to others :)

My wife and I were in Victoria over the weekend and needed to drop off our dog for a few hours. The assessment was quick, and our dog was already playing with the other dog.

Where to start?! Our 2 year old pup has been going on walks with Amy for about 6 months now. Amy has been so professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. If we need a referral for anything dog-related she knows her stuff. Also, our pup had some anxiety issues and they were quickly resolved with these magical trips with Amy. He greets her with a smile all the time. Amy's walks have helped improve his quality of life which is priceless. He is just a happy pup. We are so thankful we found her!

Amy has helped us immensely over the last couple of years, whenever we have not been able to provide daily adventures our border collie ourselves. He absolutely loves her and gets so excited when he hears her name. She has gone above and beyond to make sure he has a great time and make our lives easy. She has amazing and stable rates, communicates well, and most importantly always ensures our pup is safe and cared for, and he comes home tired and surprisingly clean for a dog frolicking around the forest/beach/fields 😂 I recommend Amy and her team to anyone in the westshore who is looking for a trustworthy, friendly, caring person to take your dog on off leash adventures or for overnight dog boarding.

Pacific Dogwood Dog walking is amazing! My pup Winnie has been a part of the pack for four months and I honestly can’t say enough good things about Amy and her staff. Winnie loves going on adventure walks with her new dog friends, and I especially love how tired she is afterwards. The amazing photos that Amy and her awesome staff take on the walks are a testament of just how much fun the dogs are having and also demonstrates how much control she has of the pack, it’s truly incredible. She treats every dog with love and kindness as if they were her own. I am completely worry free about leaving my dog in Amy’s care and highly recommend this service.

Amy and her crew are fantastic. Our puppy is high energy and his pack hikes are really helping us with his energy levels! He loves Amy so much he leaps into her arms when she arrives to get him. We've left him while we are away as well with both Amy & Chantelle and have been so pleased. Our minds are at ease knowing he is happy and safe and having so much fun with all the other dogs.

Any is brilliant. We are so happy to have found her after a very scary incident happened with another dog walker. She approached our situation with great patience and understanding - knowing that our dog Leroy might be scared of the whole pack walk experience. Amy has made Leroy fearless again after having many positive experiences with her. She’s not only great with the dogs but her communication, work ethic and positivity make her such a great fit for us. Leroy LOVES her. We are so grateful we have someone we trust with our dog. We couldn’t recommend her company enough.

We have been using pacficdogwood for a year now. Amy and her team are wonderful, caring, loving, professional and attentive. Our dog Penny started going out for hikes with Amy at 1 years old it’s been a blessing in her overall training. Our dog is now a well socialized dog with excellent dog manners. Which I think Amy and her team helped make her a well rounded dog. I always receive a text msg when penny is going to be picked up and when she’s coming back home. Also at the end of the day we get photos of her out with her dog friend's having the best time ever. Happy. Happy. Happy. Dogs love it here and we love leaving Koko with Amy and her crew for a day, a week or a month. Koko has such a fun, healthy, learning experience with "the pack" I feel guilty when her time is up and she has to come home. Amy is the best, she is a great communicator and pays attention to details. Daily photos and videos keep us in the loop when we're away. Do yourself and your dog a favour.

Amy is absolutely amazing! She has taken my pup Frankie on many adventures and sends me photos and updates when I'm missing her. She's one of the only people I trust to look after her when I'm gone. As soon as Frankie sees Amy she lights up with overwhelming happiness. I always know she's in good hands. Very, very highly recommended!

Carlos just got home from a weekend at Pawsh. The first couple of times he was nervous he can be a shy dog. We knew he was in good hands as our beloved Presley loved Pawsh. This weekend Carlos went right up to the door and wanted in. We could go away and feel relaxed. Carlos has been sleeping since he got home. All the activity and social time has tired him out. I literally could not pick a better place to bring your dog in the Victoria area. I moved here from Ontario in 2021 and since an introduction they have loved Alina as one of their own. They have taken her last minute through family emergencies and adore her during her weekly daycare other than that. I could not speak more highly of this place. They treat your dog like family.

Lisa and her team of animal caregivers are incredible. A Pawsh Oasis is the only other place our wacky cat, Cheetah, feels safe and happy. It’s truly an oasis for the animals and our family knows he will be cared for like he’s their own. Highly recommend this place and business.

Rufus just spent 3 weeks at Pawsh. He had a great time! He loves to go there for daycare/boarding and it’s easy to leave him knowing that he’s excited to go. Thanks so much to all of you for your kind and loving care of our boy:)

I’ve been taking my dogs to Pawsh for daycare for the last two years and I love it! The hours are very accommodating and my dogs always come home exhausted from a good days play. The staff are very attentive to my dogs needs; my younger pup is shy around people but sure loves the staff there, especially the walk lady 😉 Pawsh has been great for getting her comfortable around new people and dogs. Our older dog doesn’t need to go to daycare anymore but we send him as a treat. We’ll be lifelong customers ❤️ Here’s a photo of Quinn on one of her daily pack walks at Pawsh.

Our dog has been going to Pawsh for over a year now. She loves to be outdoors and they have the perfect setup for that. She’s always excited to go and loves her cuddles at drop off. She comes home tired, but peaceful. All staff care for our girl like she’s their own and I know she’s safe/having fun when she visits for daycare/boarding.

I boarded my cat Charlie with them for 3 weeks and it was a good experience for him and I. Charlie is a large breed cat and, since they accommodate the cats in furnished 'suites' and don't use kennels or cat condos, he had room to move and a comfy window perch to watch the birds from. I received quick replies when I checked in on him during my travels AND they sent me multiple photos each time. I picked up a slightly grumpy (LoL) but well cared for cat who settled back into his home routine extremely quickly. Thanks to the team - I would trust you with Charlie anytime!

My Pup loves Pawsh Oasis! She runs into the building and doesn’t look back. Makes me feel good when I leave her there. It’s so warm and cozy inside and dogs are allowed to roam like home. I know Molly will be well looked after ❤️

After a building fire in our home PawshOasis stepped right up making room for our cat Tuna. We had no where for her to live til we sorted out what to do. Not only did they step up for us but PAWSH is a palace made with love. It’s an Amazing place for your pet to stay while you are out of town etc. Not a worry in the world.

I'm so happy to have found Lil Homies! Stacey was very skillful in the way she introduced my dog to her space and other dogs in her care. Excellent communication with humans as well :) also, Lil Homies has a terrific space with a lovely, green enclosed backyard that is big enough for dogs to explore and run, and indoors there are baskets of dog toys to share. My dog was obviously delighted to be a part of the Lil Homies pack.

With many years of experience and a natural skill for animal care, you won't need to worry about a thing when dropping off your pet for any length of time.

Woofability is the best dog daycare/boarding facility we have ever come across and our dog has been to many! Our dog Leo has stayed for longer boards, short ones, and regular daycare visits. He always comes back happy and well cared for. Woofability has a unique approach to daycare that really has what’s most beneficial for the dogs in mind. We love hearing about all the agility, training, and fun games that our dog has been up to. We continue to send our dog to Woofability and can relax knowing he is receiving the best care. When he goes for boarding I joke that he is going on an all inclusive vacation.

My dogs Roo and Meara absolutely love Woofability! In fact, I think it’s their favorite place in the world. Every time they send me pictures, my dogs are smiling and loving life! Roo is a very sensitive and shy dog but seems to love everyone there. I appreciate how patient they are with the dogs’ little quirks. The enrichment academy truly keeps their minds active and that’s the best way to tire them out. The nature hikes look so fun, a muddy dog is a happy dog! I appreciate April & Tim and their team so much, I am confident my girls are being well loved and taken care of at Woofability!

Gigi has been going to Woofability for several years now and she is always happy to go. I feel completely relaxed knowing she is in good hands and will be safe and happy. She loves the dog and human friends she has made there.

Fantastic daycare, hike and boarding services. The enrichment activities are wonderful and our boys love them. They are more excited to get picked up for a hike than they are to come home and they love a boarding stay with cuddles in the house with April and Tim. Highly recommend.

I am so happy we found Woofability! Both our boys absolutely love going there. The enrichment approach is amazing and my dogs thrive on it! They love the hikes too and I feel so much safer with them on the private property for this. My younger pup needed some extra attention for over-excitability and jumping. We did the board and train and it was the absolute best thing we could have done. The reinforcement at weekly daycare of that training is going a very long way. We have also boarded there and honestly its the best, we can leave them in total comfort knowing they are being extremely well taken care of, stimulated and loved the whole time. April and Tim clearly have a passion for what they do and they have hired and retained the most incredible staff. Its so awesome when they are as excited to see my dogs as I am when I pick them up <3

I seriously couldn't be happier with the care, attention, and expertise that Woofability has brought to training my dear doggo to be my service dog. Carolyn, our trainer, is beyond friendly and knowledgeable. She adjusts on the fly and always has my doggo's best interests in mind. I highly, highly recommend Woofability for any dog training/behavioral needs, whether service dog related or not!

Extremely caring & knowledgeable staff. Our dog comes home tired from learning & playing all day. It is nice to drop your dog off for the day or boarding and not worry at all while you’re away. It is like a second home & he loves it! The daily update with photos is also HUGE, I love seeing how much fun he is having:)

We've been taking our poodle there once a week since she was a puppy. Their combination of enrichment training and fun play is exactly what our high energy dog needs. April and Tim are wonderful owners and their staff are always great. We've also done multiple training classes with April and learned useful training trips over the years. Our poodle has boarded there as well and we always know she's in good hands.

Shanti has been playing & Boarding with Woofability for 7 years. Serious work began for Shanti & I . ..We started Service Dog Training. Shanti choose to stay over for 2 weeks for board and train. He came home to me with more obedience and clarity for Me what I needed to continue our fantastic journey together. This was overwhelming with a lot of questions I had. I choose Woofability for Service dog training, they offered a whole range of training options and a variety of methods for Shanti and I to learn. I knew that Shanti was being Trained. I Trusted April and Team to be training Shanti on a consistent basis while he was on his 2 week train & board process. April & Tim had been personally thru the BC Service Dog Training for themselves they have 2 service dogs. They knew the process and were able to answer the many questions I had. The educated and practised training we received was outstanding!!!!**** the staff rock and love my little Shanti. The extra class for training ( going into busy public places, grocery stores , elevator etc training ) to integrate Shanti & I into the community with extra learning practices is worth the cost and practice. This gave US more peace of mind and an emotionally peacefully place. Woofability offers to go to the test with you and your dog. They will go the extra special mile to support the client and dog. I’ve been taking my Black Lab to Woofability for over 2 years for Enrichment daycare and boarding. This is the kind of business when they haven’t seen her in a while will notice she got a new collar when they see her. If she has any issues, they keep an eye on her and update me when I come to pick her up. I was initially worried to leave my dog anywhere! But the outdoor secure facility sold me. They are also prompt at returning emails and I’ve had nothing but professional service and communication from them. The dog loves her “me” days and perks right up as soon as we turn onto Prospect Lake Road. Their classes are great too.

I recently had the pleasure of using Your Human Pet Services for my cat, and I couldn’t be happier! From the initial meet-and-greet, it was clear that Cam genuinely cares about animals and made me feel at ease leaving. During my time away, Cam provided regular updates and photos, which reassured me that my cat was well cared for. Cam has been a friend of my former partner for 20 years so there was immediate trust when it came time to take care of our high needs MinPin and at-times "anxious of strangers" Chihuahua. He won both dogs over in no time, paid close attention to their habits and needs and built a routine that kept everybody happy! Both are rescue dogs, Jack is vision impaired and elderly at 16, Dude sometimes struggles to trust dark-haired men and is inconsistent with who passes as safe! Cameron created a structure for the boys that really worked, got them socialized along with other pups in pack walks and when we came home at night Jack was tuckered out from good exercise and was not nearly so needy! Cam also made sure our cat Bean's needs were taken care of too! He has a great scheduling system, offers a wide variety of services, is very reasonably priced and he's trustworthy - not just with my pets, but also with coming to our home when we're not there. I highly recommend his services especially if you have a special needs pup, he's really got a gift with them!

I can't express how highly I rate Cam and his amazing service! He treated my senior blind dog like a king and was always the high point of Jack's day! Cam never had an issue with my 'troubled chihuahua ' and always managed to get him out for exercise, something Im not always successful at! His after walk texts and pictures of my pups always made my afternoon, seeing them so happy. I have also used Cam for overnight sitting, lasting four days and I have never felt so secure leaving my home and loves in his capable hands! You will not regret hiring Cam for any of the services he offers. His professional attitude and attention to detail are refreshing and valuable in today's market and your pets will love you for it!

I met Cam awhile back as I to do pet sitting. We combine, share and refer each other for the best pet services possible. Cam has a calm way about him that keeps pets, and owners, comfortable with his care. It can be difficult to give someone trust with your pet friend, especially first time. But you can with Cam. I recommend Cam fully and I enjoy having him not only as a good friend, but valuable pet business owner/co worker. I trust him fully 🌻

Cam is so incredible with my girl Peaches who is a 9 month golden Labrador. He took her in at 5 months and she wiggles so hard when he comes to get her that I can tell her love for him is genuine. Peaches has separation anxiety and through his gentle guidance she has improved so much. He not only takes her for great walks and swims but also helps her get used to new places and things, the car and of course scary men with beards. Thanks to Cams help she is becoming a happy well socialized pup. Her on leash walking is improving as well thanks to Cam. Many people charge so much more for so much less. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Cam and I know Peaches feels the same.

Cam is a gem 💎 ! Sadie sits at the front window waiting for her Cam time, it’s really sweet how much she adores him. On top of the love Cam is incredibly knowledgeable and knows how to connect with your dog on the level they are comfortable on. You’re fur baby will come home we’ll walked and ready for a nap!! Oh and bonus is Cam in an incredible photographer~ He’s taken my favourite photos of Sadie ❤️

My doggie walker uncle cam is the bomb! He always makes sure little yumby is well looked after,very exercised and all the dogs are grooving together! The walkies app is brilliant! I can see where they're walking and how many jobies she's done! I am very,very happy with unca cam,he loves my little pupper like she s his own! I can't say enough great things!

The Saturday pack walks are a time of both pet and human companionship; it is wonderful to be a part of a group of like minded people who support each other and benefit from one another's experiences. Kudos to Cam for arrasnging this for us all!!

We hired Your Human Pet Services to check on our cat while we were away for 3 weeks and are really happy with how it went. We will definitely use the service when we travel in the future. When we initially reached out we found the communication timely and professional. The meet and greet was easy to arrange and he made a good first impression. When we were away he came over to check on the cat, change the litter etc, and also picked up the mail and took out the trash. Our cat is typically shy and skittish but not in this case. She went to him for affection and played with him too. He sent updates with pictures that put our minds at ease. He went above and beyond when there was a power outage and our home alarm was going off, we contacted him and he went over first thing to take care of it. We were really impressed with the service and how our cat bonded with him. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for pet services and are telling everyone we know how well it went.

Alexandra was fabulous with my cats! I often hesitate to leave them for longer periods of time as they are quite standoffish around new people, but I was instantly put at ease as they seemed comfortable with Alexandra. I absolutely loved that she sent me pictures everyday because I knew they were being well cared for and were enjoying their days playing and lounging around. I will definitely be going back to Sage Pet Care next time I have to be away from them!

My job requires for me to travel and most often than not I have to leave my two pups at home, one of them being high maintenance due to past trauma. Sage Pet Care did outstanding seeing to her needs and attention while I was away, had great communication which put my mind at ease. The caretaker also put food out for my cat when her food dispenser was empty. Would recommend to anyone that needs boarding or sitting, the process was seamless with very easy scheduling. 4.5/5

I always try to write a nice review when i feel like the company really reciprocates the care and thats exactly how i felt here. I had to go for an emergency procedure and had no where to leave my little Zorro but thankfully was able to check him In with the team. From the photos i received to when i picked him up and he didnt even want to leave that told me i will definitely be coming back (Zorro being fussy is an understatement) Amazingly kind staff i had the pleasure of speaking with Brandon and Alexandria they seem like very nice people and i will definitely return

I can't recommend Silvia and Andrea enough! They took such amazing care of my cat Topaz. I got the cutest photos and videos everyday, and felt so confident leaving my girl with them. My cat can be quite shy with new people, but I could see that they took the time to build trust and a connection with her, which I really appreciated. Amazing pet sitters! We are so thankful we found Silvia and Andrea!!! I am incredibly picky about whoever watches our Honey Bear. She is quite anxious around other dogs after being used for breeding and also has a complicated food and walking schedule and many allergies. I've had anxieties in the past around people not taking our instructions seriously, but Silvia and Andrea have gone above and beyond they really care and listen to all your needs!!!! I have zero fears or anxieties with them watching Honey at all!! They are so caring and loving, and Honey just adores them which is the best part! They love my dog just as much as I do and send so many pictures and updates, which is beyond important to us! I recommend them very highly, and if I could give 10+ stars, I would! We finally found our dog's perfect pet sitters! Grateful for you both! 🙌🙌

We have two huge babies at 125lbs each, and we need very capable loving folks to help take care of them, we are so grateful for Sylivia and Andrea… the pups love them! And they send us so many photos, which helps, because we miss them! Its wonderful to see them back home having a good time, playing and enjoying themselves. Silvia and Andrea stayed at our apartment with our two cats while we were away for ten days. I cannot express enough how happy we were with their care and love for our animals! We received multiple updates a day with lots of photos of our cats, who were clearly in bliss with their new friends! Both of our cats have separation anxiety and one of our guys needs to be given medications in both pill and liquid form, which was no problem at all with Andrea and Silvia. We could see that they spent an incredible amount of time with our cats every day. When we returned home, our cats were the happiest and calmest they have ever been after being away from us! I will also say that we returned to an apartment that was immaculately clean too! it is nice to come home to a clean place, but we did not expect it to look like professional cleaners came in! It was such a relief to have had such wonderful, caring, loving people take care of our fur babies! They mean the world to us and Silvia and Andrea gave them the best care in the world! Thank you so much! We and the boys look forward to having Silvia and Andrea take care of them again the next time we are away!

Silvia & Andrea are warm, caring, reliable animal lovers who have always accommodated my changing schedule. When they show up to walk Hudson, they take time to give my cats some attention & affection too. Every day I get some new happy animal photos to add to my collection!

We are so grateful to have found Sylvia and Andrea. We have 3 large high energy dogs, and Sylvia is an absolute star with them. They listen to her, snuggle with her, and absolutely adore her. The updates while we’re away are amazing, and not once do we have to worry. I think the boys were a little disappointed that we came home! Couldn’t ask for better 💕

I had been looking for a day care for my 4 legged so I have been watching this place for quite some time I noticed when they walk the dogs how rough they are with the dogs . I know there's some dogs that are smaller and cannot keep up and they walk a little bit slower and I saw many times the walkers yank these dogs off their feet pretty much just to get them to move faster so they could get to the end of their day it's very disturbing . Really glad I took the extra effort to watch them for a couple of months. Also if I wanted them to just be inside with a bunch of dogs I would just get a bunch of dogs and have them all in my living room.Dogs need spaces outside to play and enjoy the sun ,watch the birds ,see life . This is not that place .There is no quality there.

Whiskers has been my go-to for pet boarding since 2021. They have been nothing short of incredible. I've seen them grow in their resources for small animals: a separate room (away from the noisy dogs), a space for them to run around & lounge safely in... They have gone above and beyond, learning with me on how to care for these pets and make Whiskers boarding a home away from home. All the staff are friendly, kind, and do their best to care for my bunnies. I especially was touched by their holiday gift to my rabbits: a chew toy! They really went above and beyond to care for my animals, and for that, I'm grateful. I pray all the best for the Whiskers team. Again, my pets have stayed there 3-4 times a year for up to 2 weeks at a time. The Whiskers team has given me discounts for extended stays and accommodated me in too many ways for me to take for granted. Thank you so much for your incredible service.

Would not recommend. Whiskers seems like such a convenient doggy day care to take your dog, however we had several issues with Whiskers. Our dog started going when she was a puppy. She initially loved going and was so excited to attend, but eventually after a few months started cowering and went to hide when we told her it was “time to go to doggy day care”. We started noticing aggression towards other dogs which she never was before. She ALWAYS smelled strongly of urine after attending. Whiskers always seems to be absolutely crowded with dogs with a small area to roam around. We dropped her off a few times where the staff explained that they were short staffed which made me and my partner question whether or not there was enough staff to care for the dozens and dozens of dogs. On one occasion, one staff member to us that she was the “only one on today”. One day we were told that our dog had bit a dog one day and the owner or manager asked my partner inappropriately “is there anything going on at home?”. We definitely felt that she had overstepped professional boundaries when asking such a personal question. Our dog is very well behaved and very well taken care of. Another claim that whiskers made was that they’d take the dogs out to the bathroom multiple times a day, but our dog always seemed to need to pee badly after we picked her up. Overall, having our dog attend doggy day care there was a very negative experience and regret that our dog had attended there.

Do NOT bring your dog here......we showed up for the assessment appointment with our 12 year old yellow lab and there were workers jackhammering the concrete across the street (which i know is not anyones fault it was just very loud and stressful) we walked into the building and it smelled very strongly of urine....it was a little hectic as someone was coming in with 4 dogs from a walk and another staff member was rushing out to make sure the guy around the corner who was obviously on something didnt "get attacked by the dogs" (her words). Then she immediately asked us for our dogs vaccination records (which we had forgotten but as this was just the assessment we figured we had time) and then she informed us we would not be able to get any services without them. I said ok we can get them over the next few days to which she again replied we "would not get any services without them" at this point i wasnt sure if that meant we couldnt do the assessment or not so i asked if we should rebook or something and she said we could do the assessment but we couldnt even book anything for him until they received them. i said "ok thats fine, will it get completely booked up for August within the next couple days?" she replied "yes that is very possible" So i was feeling a little irritated at this point and my daughter and I decided to continue with the assessment. The staff member came over with a clip board and looked at us and and said "who is the owner?" which we both are but i said "well I guess I am" Right after she handed me the sheet to fill out she asked if there was anything they needed to know about our dog. I had talked to someone on the phone about our dog having an extreme fear of German Shepards after having been attacked on 2 separate occasions by two different German Shepards and she had assured us it would be no problem as they didnt get many German Shepards but that they could also keep them apart if they did. When i mentioned it to this staff member she replied "oh thats going to be a problem....we get tons of German Shepards....." so i mentioned talking to the other staff member and asked if they did get a German Shepard would they be able to keep them apart from eachother? and she said "well....i mean probably...." I looked at her and handed her the clipboard back and turned to my daughter and said "lets go....this is ridiculous....he is not staying here" In addition to the fact that I have no idea where these dogs would all be sleeping in the small back part of this building. I also had sat down on the bench in the front and sat in something wet that smelled of urine.....there is absolutely no way i would let any dog stay in this place.....EVER!!

This place smells so strongly of a hamster cage, and your pet will come home stinking of it too. I read other reviews where their pets had ended up at the vet with an issue, and although I had a bad feeling about it, it was the only daycare open late enough for my work schedule. I called them one time to ask to book in my dog, and her response was “mmm it should be okay I guess?” I said what do you mean it *should* be okay you “guess?” She said they already had too many dogs booked in but that they will try and make it work. I said no thank you. Because that is exactly when issues start to happen: too many dogs to too little staff members. Fast forward the next week, I pick my dog up and he has a huge red swollen ball in the corner of his eye. None of the workers noticed. The worker said nothing happened that day, and he probably has cherry eye. I said cherry eye does not sprout up in a span of 6 hours but she argued with me that it couldn’t be anything else. I took him to the vet, who said it was trauma (unsurprisingly) NOT cherry eye. After being slapped with a 300 dollar bill and a worker there who argued with me about my dogs eye on top of him smelling absolutely disgusting, my dog will never be going back. Clearly allowing way too many dogs to keep an eye on, and not all all concerned for the pets safety or comfort.

Do not take your beloved pets here. The staff are mostly teenagers who do love dogs but treat them poorly, shoving dogs in a small room and spraying them with water in their faces to stop them from barking. These teens clearly don't care about other people dogs. I took my dog here for a year, but after experiencing that, its abuse and smells like dog pee when you walk in. Also my dog picked up ear infections and kennel cough. There are better places to take your dog.

Would not recommend. I brought my cats here to be looked after while there was some work being done on our house. This placed smells so terrible. I called them on the phone to book and they were incredibly disorganized and it took forever just to get answers. It was so unprofessional. When I walked in to drop the cats off I was immediately overwhelmed by the smell of piss, dirt, and wet animal. It's so musty and not well taken care of. Not to mention when I picked my cats up I was told that one of them had refused to eat for most of his stay, and he is noticeably skinnier. Both cats also smell strongly of urine and whatever other gross smells are lingering in there. I will not be bringing any of my pets here again. Edit: My cat who refused to eat during his stay, came back home and his throat was nearly closed up due to swelling. He was dry heaving and his meows were raspy and he refused to eat and drink water at home. It has cost me $3000 to hospitalize him due to his condition.

It was eerie watching the many dogs crowd in a tiny room, all of them just looking lost. The smell of urine hits you as soon as you walk in. We also noticed a worker shove a dog inside a room with their foot. We went for an orientation and never went back.

Our dog LOVES it here. We left him for the first time since moving to the city, and we ended up having to extend his stay so he was there for well over a week. They were so incredibly sweet to him, gave him lots of cuddles, and when we picked him up he was so calm and happy. I feel so confident that they treated him with so much love and he had a blast. Every time you see a dog being dropped off they are SO excited to go inside. We asked a ton of people what their recommendations were in the city, and this place is highly recommended. We will absolutely be sending him back.

The staff here are always so thoughtful about the best way to service my animal. Focus is more on animal comfort and well-being than a one-size-fits-all process. Thank you, WUR!!! :)
