Heather is amazing! She had her business in NYC and moved it to Charlotte NC after the pandemic. She is truly the best of the best and highly professional. She is a true animal lover and takes exceptional care of my dog, Oliver. After every walk she provides a detailed update and lots of pictures. After dealing with inconsistency and lack of professionalism from multiple walkers with Rover, I went a different route. Heather has a legitimate business, is highly trained in her work with animals, keeps to a high level of respect and service and is ALWAYS consistent and communicative. You could not get a better walker for your pup.

I highly recommend Heather and Paws On Pine! Heather has taken care of my Frenchie multiple times when I am out of town and I have also used her services for dog walking. She is amazing! You can honestly tell that she truly loves animals and cares for them as if they are her own. In addition to the care, she has excellent communication providing updates and pictures through the day. I know my boy is safe and happy when he is with Heather. Thank you!

High paws for Heather at Paws on Pine!! Heather sent daily updates with photos of her playing with my cat who seemed very settled and happy when we returned. She made sure he had plenty of food and fresh water. Heather even asked what type of water to use. She made sure my plants were watered daily as directed. And she pulled in a heavy package that was delivered unexpected. Heather was professional in every way. I fully trust her to look after my pet and plants while I’m away.

We love paws on pine! Heather takes great care of our kitty. She always sends lots of photos (action shots, model shots). He also receives lots of love and scratches. Whenever we go away, I know our kitty is in good hands.

I use this service for dog walking and highly recommend it!! Heather is reliable, professional and quick to respond especially to last minute requests. You can tell she is in the business for the love of the dogs; not the $ which is everything. My dog always enjoys walks with her, and I love the photos she sends of him. Heather is amazing! We have a sweet but reactive larger dog that is also a puller. Heather took the time to get to know and understand her, and has so much experience with all types of dog breeds. My girl Kaylee loves walking with her, and behaves so well. Heather is a great professional that truly loves her clients and animals she works with, is reliable rain or shine, will be super accommodating even when I book last minute, and above all enjoys what she does. I've never had a dog walker I trust so much with my baby, and that's saying something!

The staff here is so wonderful! My dog had a great day today and I felt at ease leaving her to play! Very clean, no doggy smell in the facility! Definitely will bring my dog back!

I brought Kodak in for boarding while I went out of town for a concert last week and she had an absolute blast! So much so that when I had a sudden out of town trip that weekend I knew she would be in great hands. We just moved to the area so being able to find hounds town takes an incredible amount of stress off me for if I need to find somewhere for Kodak to go. The team is great and we’re always super big on communication. They post pictures on their Facebook everyday so I was always able to keep tabs on her. Since this was the first time Kodak has ever been in any sort of boarding/daycare environment I wasn’t sure how she was going to do but she went in and had an absolute blast. She’s still tired from her time there over this past weekend 😂

We just picked up our dog after an extended boarding and we feel more at ease leaving him at HT CLT than anywhere else! The staff was prompt with providing pictures and updates when we asked. They even washed his blanket, going above and beyond. He has such a great time at HT and everyone who works there is so helpful and welcoming! ❤️

We love Hounds Town NoDa! This is the BEST place to bring your pup. They care about and get to know each dog, have a beautiful facility, and have the friendliest staff. They go above and beyond for both dogs and their people!

My sweet pup just turned two and HoundsTown Noda is our third daycare that we’ve been part of. I truly think this facility is the absolute best in Charlotte and we absolutely love it here!!!!! After having not so great experiences with two other doggy daycares in Charlotte, we joined HoundsTown right when they opened this location. The staff is phenomenal and my pup and I have built such great relationships with the staff, they are like family to us! They are always so accommodating and I trust them wholeheartedly! This facility is always very clean, organized, and inviting! Marcos and his team do an amazing job!!! Please bring your pup here, you will not regret it!!!

Amazing staff.. Very knowledge. Very clean and well kept place. Nice big windows so you can peak on in to see your kiddos playing before you leave! Also amazing prices definitely coming back and recommending!

We took our two dogs in for an evaluation today and were very impressed by the cleanliness, friendliness, and safety of this facility! We are very excited to bring our dogs in for boarding and daycare. It seems they put a lot of care into how they separate dogs by size and temperament. The person that helped us at the front desk was super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend so far.

for YEARS we have brought our dogs to Noda Bark and Board. The staff is so sweet, caring and genuine. They take good care of our dogs and we can tell because they are excited when they get there and excited when they see staff members. If you aren't going to NB+B get on it!

Love, love, LOVE NoDa Bark and Board!! They take amazing care of our pup for daycare and boarding. The drop off and pick up process is quick, which is great when I’m in a rush. The dogs have a ton of room to play, and they all clearly love being there. Our pup loves Bark and Board so much that he is in full tail-wagging mode as soon as he realizes that’s where we are headed in the morning. Pro tip: Occasionally, daycare gets full for the day, or is closed to accommodate boarding. Arrive early for daycare, and check social media for day daycare availability, on days that are likely to be popular boarding days like holidays and long weekends.

The NoDa B&B team are awesome! They are always excited to see their canine friends and my pup loves going! Nice, clean, convenient facility!

You will not find a better day care in Charlotte with staff that genuinely care for your dog. While they don’t have “puppachinos” or “pumpkin spice blow outs” for an additional cost…they do have people loving your dogs and watching them carefully. I’ll take that any day over the eye candy. Making sure they are safe and with the appropriate play group. I have never been concerned with my dog when he came home. He’s always in the same condition as I left him. Just extra tired 😉

My dog and I love it here. Get here early (before 7:30) though for daycare.

I’ve been using this place for years with two different dogs (first one passed). 5 stars because my dogs have always been obsessed with it — and we’ve gone to other places when they’ve been booked up. My current dog comes home from daycare exhausted and stays that way until the next day. They have also taken steps recently to make clients feel more connected, such as thank you emails after boarding overnight. They don’t have the bells and whistles of cameras to observe them during the day, but I don’t feel like I need those things and my dog shows me his preference where I wouldn’t seek anywhere else over something as small as that.

My dogs are treated with love and care, could not ask for better.

We were looking for a place to board our pup while visiting Charlotte. In calling for information, the person who answered the phone (I think her name was Jordan) was excessively curt and rude. They are not currently accepting new clients (which could easily be posted on their website), which is fine, but the rudeness was unnecessary.

We love it here and have been happy during our three+ years there. Our little pup loves playing with her friends and the staff is beyond caring and kind.

Our pup loves day care here! They are affordable, amazing with the dogs, provide consistent fun for our fur baby, and are extremely accommodating and flexible. And they post photos of your pup on their Instagram so you can stalk your furry child while you’re at work or out of town!

I love sending my dog to Heads or Tails! He’s always very shy and doesn’t warm up to people easily and within minutes he always is comfortable and happy to be there. Laura has the magic touch and makes me feel at ease leaving Douglas with her. She’s always sending updates and pictures. I can’t recommend her enough to anyone who needs someone to watch their dog!

Laura is seriously the best! Our doodle Coco loves going to her house! It’s so nice to have someone reliable and trustworthy to watch our fur baby. We have complete peace of mind when we travel internationally. Highly highly recommend - I wouldn’t want to leave our baby with anyone else! Laura and her dog family are amazing! She truly loves dogs and it shows through her care of not only her own dogs but also those she is around. Rugger (4 year old male doberman) LOVES his stay at Laura’s. He comes home tired and happy. He starts wagging his little tail as we round the corner to her place as he knows he’s about to have a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend Heads or Tails Pet Care to anyone looking for someone to love their pet like their own while they are away.

We absolutely love leaving our pup with Laura! We got Brooks last winter and had been so worried about leaving him when we traveled. But luckily we found Laura! She let us come by to meet her dogs and showed us where Brooks would be staying beforehand I felt totally comfortable leaving him in her care for our week vacation. She sent plenty of pics and videos everyday and let us know how he was doing. We leave Brooks with Laura whenever we travel and she has even offered to watch him for an extended stay for our upcoming wedding/honeymoon and we know he'll be in great hands!

Our pup Ralph loves going to stay with Laura and the other doggos! She always sends pictures and videos to keep me updated on how he is doing and treats Ralph as if he was her own. I love knowing that he is so well taken care of when he is with Laura. He is always exhausted when he comes home because of all the fun he has! So happy we found Laura!

Laura is so good with our pups! I never have to worry when they are with her! My pups love playing in her yard and always come home exhausted in the best way! She sends me updates multiple times a day, and is flexible for pick up and drop off!

My two pups Bandit and Dorian stayed with Laura for a few days this month, and I am so thankful I found her! She was wonderful and very communicative, sent photos daily and was available to answer any questions or concerns I had. Really glad to have someone I trust for the boys when I have to leave town :)

Our dog had a great time with Laura for her long weekend stay! Laura made the process so easy by offering pick up and drop off. She also sent so many cute pictures to keep us updated on what our dog was up to. Will definitely ask her again soon and recommend to friends!

Laura always treats our dog Drako as her own. It gives us so much comfort knowing he’s in her care and feels at home. Not to mention her knowledge and confidence with dogs and caring for them allowed us to enjoy our vacation with minimal stress or worry. Leaving your pet with Laura is leaving your pet with a friend. Something you can’t get at a regular boarding facility.

Laura has been a lifesaver when it comes to dog sitting. My boy would stay with her when I worked (long shifts) and she would always send pictures/ updates. Archie was always so excited to go over Laura's and always came home tired out. I'm sad to be moving and can only hope to find a sitter as wonderful as Laura.

I've used Happy Hounds twice a week for the last several months and had my Boomer stay with Holly for a week. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! Very dependable & very loving! Never worry about a no-show or that my baby wouldn't be well cared for plus Boomer loves them! Highly recommend!!

I just moved to the Charlotte area and had to go out of town for a wedding. I contacted Happy Hounds regarding a meet and greet. From the first message, Holly was amazing. She was very prompt in responding and took the time to meet with us to see if home-style boarding would work. The online portal made it very easy to schedule, communicate and pay for the services. When I picked up my dog, he was very happy and I could tell he had the best time :) Huge peace of mind knowing that my dog is in great hands! All around a wonderful, stress-free experience. Happy Hounds is the best boarding option for me in the Charlotte area! I have been in-home boarding with Holly for several years. I could not recommend Happy Hounds highly enough. Your dogs are treated like family, and the communication is wonderful; I always am reassured and reminded that my senior dog is having fun and being an angel. I will be using them for dog walks in the future, too!

We had a wonderful experience with this service! We left our dog with Holly during a week-long trip out of town. He normally has some anxiety issues so boarding him was not an option for us. For the same price we were able to leave him with a passionate, caring dog lover in a home-like environment who treated him like family. We got lots of reassuring photos and updates while we were gone and Brownie was very happy! We will definitely use Happy Hounds again and again!

Happy Hounds is amazing! Happy Hounds is the first pet sitting we’ve used and they completely exceeded our expectations. One of our dogs is blind and Holly was super comfortable with her. When we came to pick our dogs up, they were happy to see us but not happy to leave! Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this service! We got an 8 week old puppy which we were completely unprepared for in regards to potty training and needing multiple walks per day. Needless to say when Monday morning came around I panicked. Holly was so accommodating on such short notice. She came over to meet my baby free of charge and was able to give me multiple options for us to choose from in order to best meet our needs. Our little one requires 2 and sometimes 3 walks per day, our schedule may very week to week and this has been no problem at all for a very reasonable price. Our puppy is always calm (as a puppy can be) and happy when we get home. Holly pays such great attention to our baby and has been great in reinforcing all of her training needs. I get wonderful text messages and pictures that help reassure me that she is doing well and she always looks so excited to be out with Holly. Happy Hounds is a caring attentive service for your pets needs and is extremely reliable and affordable .

Happy Hounds is the BEST. Holly cares for my dog 4 times a week while I am at work. This has been so helpful for me because not only does Holly walk her and let her out, she is also super flexible and caring. She can give my dog treats and chew toys that I only want her to have for half the day, leave her in or out of her crate, etc. Holly sends me a status update and picture every day, which I love getting! She's also really been there for us in a pinch when I unexpectedly need a last-minute walk and has even cleaned up puppy accidents a couple of times... My dog also home boarded with Holly over a long weekend. She was so well-cared for and it was so easy for me because Holly picked her up and dropped her off for me. The prices are also the cheapest I have seen in Charlotte. I didn't think I would be able to afford a dog walker but Happy Hounds has been tremendously valuable to me (and cheap)!

I've used a few different pet-sitting services over the years and Happy Hounds is by far the best! Holly is amazing. Not only does she take excellent care of my dog, but she's respectful of my home as well. She brings in the mail and trash bins; knows how to work my alarm system; will turn lights on and off and will even spend the night when I have to go out of town for work. She is responsive to new sitting requests and always sends an update (and picture!) via text when she's at my house. Best of all, she loves what she does and it shows! Her human clients and her pet clients love her equally as well!

This place is horrible! Dogs out in heat it was 80 degrees and dogs outside with no air-conditioning. Lots of poeple around and pestering and bothering the dogs. All the dogs looked very sad and hot.

I boarded my dog Koda here over the weekend and she had a blast!!!! She made lots of friends and seeing her so happy in the pictures made me feel loads better knowing she wasn’t sad and alone. They even gave her an exit bath when I picked her up which was such a nice surprise!!! She smelled great and it was nice to not have to do it after a long day of traveling. They are also super fair in pricing and we will 100% be back for any boarding, day care, training or grooming needs!

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I have used Ashley and Abbie regularly for walking my dogs as well as check in on my kitties. They are wonderful to work with. Very dependable- they have never missed an appointment. I know they have a busy schedule but will do their best to fit you in for a last minute visit. Recently, I was home recovering from surgery and I got a chance to observe my pets when they Abbie or Ashley arrive to take them for a walk…. My dogs get so excited to see them. You can tell that they genuinely care about animals. Also, they take the best photos of my fur babies!!

This place WAS great and has been fantastic! I was going there for almost two years now. It's 45 min for me and has been well worth it! Both my dogs have come a long way and can't wait to see how much further they progress. 😊 However, the owner has abandoned this to move onto something else and it is under new management that has been a dissapoinment and changed what they have said so I will no longer be back there and will find something else. Therefore, I no longer suggest this facility.

Dog School Charlotte provides excellent training for pup and human! We are very pleased with our progress. We were having significant problems with our rescue. Dog School Charlotte folks are professional, courteous, extremely responsive and always on time! We are looking forward to continuing our advanced obedience & group training with them! Highly recommend!!

Ashley and Aaron offer a warm and welcoming home away from home for your fur babies. The facility is kept clean and well organized and the dogs have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to run and play. I love that they send pupdates to the owners to let them know how their fur baby is doing. I have complete confidence recommending them to anyone!

I can’t recommend this dog Hakuna Matata enough! When we first started, my dog (Mimi) was very shy and hesitant around both the trainers and other dogs. But thanks to their patience and expertise, my pup quickly started to come out of their shell. Michael, in particular, is absolutely wonderful. You can tell he truly loves his job and pours his heart into working with the dogs. His calm, caring demeanor made all the difference in helping my dog feel comfortable and confident. The progress we've made is incredible, and I’m so grateful to the entire team for their dedication. If you're looking for a training program that not only gets results but also prioritizes the well-being of your dog, this is the place to go!

Hakuna Matata is amazing!!! We HIGHLY recommend their training for your pup! We have full trust with Mike, Joselyn and all the trainers at Hakuna Matata! They truly care about your pup and take amazing care of them as if they are their own. The amount of time, effort and care they put into the training is comforting and it is shown through the results. Additionally, they offer boarding and daycare as well which is equally as amazing as the training! We love taking our pup to boarding and daycare at Hakuna Matata because we know our pup will get full attention, love, care and also reinforcement training. They also send tons of photos and videos of your pup at boarding/daycare, which is an added bonus! Hakuna Matata is truly one of a kind and we can’t recommend them enough to any dog owner!

I love this company! We brought our 7 year old Goldendoodle and our fresh 4 month old Bernedoodle to Hakuna Matata for board and train 2 weeks and the customer service and kindness exceeded our expectations! The whole staff are SO loving towards the animals and each of them really do an awesome hands on job! Not to mention the amount of content I got of my pups showing me what they were working on and their improvements was reassuring and heartwarming. I appreciate that they come to you after training and very patiently walk you through how to keep it up at home! 10/10 will recommend to anyone who asks me!🩷

We had an amazing experience with Hakuna Matata Dog Training! We worked with Mike, who was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with our dog, Brew. He made sure to work at Brew's pace, which really helped build trust and confidence throughout the process. Mike communicated with us every step of the way, keeping us informed and involved in Brew's progress. We're excited to send Brew back for boarding and daycare in the future, knowing he's in safe hands with Mike and the rest of the team. Highly recommend to anyone looking to strengthen their bond with their dog!

From the get-go, Hakuna Matata’s dog training customer service has been amazing. Their knowledge and passion for working with dogs is evident from the start. Our dog, Milo, is a high-energy pup who was struggling with leash pulling and had began to “herd” and lunge towards cars on our walks. After training with Mike, we noticed a huge improvement. We appreciate their personalized approach to understand Milo’s training needs and temperaments. Not only did trainer Mike work with Milo, but also he equipped us with the right tools and knowledge to continue Milo’s training at home. Our pup is still too smart for his own good sometimes, but we now have a better understanding of his behavior and how to approach it in an effective way. We might be biased, but Mike and Joselyn and their team at Hakuna Matata dog training are the best of the best!

Hakuna Matata is AMAZING! We have a four year old doodle that had picked up some bad manners and the leash pulling (she was walking us) and leash aggression were two of our biggest concerns. After a great intro call, we sent her there for two weeks of training. During those two weeks, both Mike and Joselyn were fantastic about sending us updates and we couldn’t believe the progress our girl was making. Upon completion, Mike came and spent five hours working with us on everything Luna had learned and how we could continue working with her. I could have cried when we went out and were able to pass other dogs without Luna barking and pulling. We continue to send Luna weekly for doggie day care and she gets SO excited when we turn onto their street. We also just boarded with them for the first time and it is so nice to know Luna is at a place she loves so much and is well taken care of. We would and do recommend Hakuna Matata to anyone who is thinking about training. It has made our lives, and lunas, so much better especially since we have been able to take her more places :)

There are not enough incredible things I can say…we LOVE everyone at Hakuna Matata! Our now 1 year old male golden retriever, Harvey, did the 2 week board and train program back in March when he was about 9 months old. Harvey is so strong and easily distracted…this made simple walks and off leash opportunities very stressful for us. He would pull us down the road and was regularly distracted by anything and everything outside. As with all puppies, his energy was very hard to manage sometimes and he was constantly overstimulated. We did basic commands with him at home, but were out of our scope when it came to all of his other behaviors. We heard about Hakuna Matata from a work friend and began our research. Harvey is like our son and we love him so much, so there was no chance we were going to just trust anyone with him. We were so impressed with Joselyn and Mike during our phone consultation - their knowledge and passion for what they do is so evident and after just one call, I knew they would care for him well. During his board and train program, we got numerous updates throughout the day along with photos and videos to show his progress. Joselyn and Mike were both so responsive and answered all of our questions and concerns. When Mike brought him back to our house at the end of the program, he spent very intentional time with us walking through what Harvey had learned and how we, as his people, can best support and reinforce his training. Harvey was a completely different dog, in the best way. It has completely changed our relationship with him, but he absolutely still kept his silly and goofy side. (I was always a little weary that he would become a robot dog, but that was not AT ALL the case.) Mike and Joselyn are open to texts when we’ve had questions on how to redirect a specific behavior. Harvey now boards there when we go out of town and gets lots of love, play time, and reinforcement! Harvey is our whole world and there is no one we trust more than Hakuna Matata. We truly cannot recommend them more.

We heard about this amazing training team from friends and we’re not disappointed! They took our Corgi for two weeks and sent us updates on how he was doing daily. Once he was ready to come home, they brought him back to us and talked us through the methods, how to use the e-collar and even helped us perform our first walk with him. Words cannot express how happy we are with our big boy’s training and growth at Hakuna Matata Dog Care & Training, LLC! From the time we dropped him off we felt at peace, even though our hearts broke for leaving him for a two week overnight training. Michael and his entire training staff posted and sent daily videos/pictures of Lee’s progress. He also welcomed any questions we had and was quick with responses, suggestions, etc. On Lee’s graduation day, Michael spent several hours at our home going over EVERYTHING in detail and example and even worked with our other 2 dogs to help with transition. This is a lifetime commitment and consistency is a must but we are so grateful to Hakuna Matata for establishing the foundation for Lee’s success!! FIVE STARS don’t seem enough🥰🐶🐾❤️

We were so lucky to have been recommended to Mike, Joslyn and their wonderful team by the foster mom of one of our little rescues. We are fairly new to Charlotte and this is our first time as parents to canine fur-babies. We were super nervous about leaving them for the first time but Mike and Joslyns love for dogs was so evident from the first meeting. They advised we stagger the dogs over the 2 week program with one going in a week before the other so we would not be overwhelmed when they returned and we needed to continue to reinforce the 1:1 training. Mike came over this morning with fur monster 1 and spent 5 hours with us going over all the training. Our rescues are very young and one is particularly excitable and was very overwhelming handling her particularly on a leash. The progress after a mere 2 weeks is amazing. Hakuna is giving us the skills and confidence to continue with her (their) progress and we feel so lucky to have them as a local resource as we continue our training journey. Can't recommend enough.

Hands down the BEST pet sitters in Charlotte. Affordable, very communicative, and send updates/pictures every morning when they check on the kitties. It’s so nice to have a reliable company to trust so I don’t have to worry when I’m traveling. Rebecca is the greatest and has built such an amazing place!!!! 10/10 recommend!!!

We trusted Midwood Pet Sitting with the care of our two cats over the Christmas holiday. Rebecca and her team were phenomenal from the moment of first contact. She took the time to learn our house and the unique personalities of both our kitties several weeks before our reservation began. While they were sitting we got detailed daily updates, adorable photos, and even some celebratory videos when our shy cat finally emerged and began to play. The Midwood Pet Sitting team was very consistent in the time of day they visited (good for animals on a routine), loving and enthusiastic in their play and care with our furry guys, and incredibly responsive to us as clients whenever we had questions or updates. Rebecca has been taking care of our 3 fur pups for 4 years now! They range in age from 2 to 15 and she knows just what each one needs. We trust her to stay over with them when we are out of town and she has become part of our family! She can do quick lunchtime visits or longer stays....she loves the animals and has an amazing work ethic!

Amazing!! Rebecca and her husband do such a wonderful job caring for my 55lb lab mix. They fill his water, give him approved treats, take him on nice long walks, play with him, plus attention and love all for a minimum charge. It was such a relief to know my fur baby was in good hands and getting extra love during the long work days. They were flexible when I needed days switched and even accommodated my request for time of day which made all the difference. They offer additional services like mail pick-up or snagging packages to put them inside, watering plants, etc. to ensure you are happy and satisfied with service. Pit Stop is the only service we trust leaving our dogs with. Jules and Beckett are incredible with our dogs, who are not always easy. Heather is incredible! We have a dog and two cats and she takes such good care of them every time we are out of town! She sends us sweet photos of our babies when she visits and she makes sure they have everything they need. She even puts on music for the dog when there are fireworks or thunder. We have 3 crazy animals and they love Heather and her crew. Pit Stop Pet Services is the best service for pets. We have used them regularly for a couple years now for in home sitting, pet boarding, dog walks and cat visits. Heather is always reliable and we never hesitate to use them. We know we can fully trust the health and care of our babies with their care. You book visits on a convenient app and get gps updates and always the cutest photos to brighten my day when I am not home. Excellent service!

Heather and the PIt Stop team have been trusted caretakers of our Beagle/Basset mix for the last 5 plus years. Heather is extremely responsive, professional, and the dogs she takes care of are all well tended to and given the love they need when their owners are at work or on vacation. It gives us a lot of comfort that she takes such close personal care of the pets she is watching over and we greatly prefer using her on longer trips vs. putting our dog into a kennel. Would recommend Pit Stop to anyone who wants their pets to have intimate care while they are away. She treats our dog like she was one of her own!

Pit Stop Pet is the best! My Pomeranian is a shy, skittish little guy who does not take well to new people. Heather took the time to get him to warm up to her and now she sends me videos of how excited he is when she comes in the door! She is the only person I trust to leave him with overnight too. She is great about giving updates and sending pictures so I always feel at ease knowing he’s with her. Heather and her team are great for quick walks, daily visits, and overnight sitting. If you have the chance to use Heather and her crew at Pit Stop Pet Services, do it!! I am a travel nurse who's been on assignment in the Charlotte area for the past 6 months. Heather and Jules have faithfully accommodated my schedule and NEVER missed a walk! They are extremely reliable and they even came out during a hurricaine while I worked my 12 hour shift! My dog always looks so happy in the picture updates they send. You can tell they really care about their clientele! They communicate any concerns and have even medicated my guy for me when I needed them to. I can't thank these guys enough and I definitely can't recommend them enough!!

I was very grateful to find Queen City Pet Sitting. This was the first extended vacation I took with my parents, and usually we are each other's sitters when we travel. I rely heavily on reviews and stumbled upon QC Pet Sitting and I could not be happier! Stacey the owner immediately responded to my query and provided me with a quote. Their prices are fair and reasonable compared to their competitors and the services did not disappoint. Sarah stayed with our 3 pups in my home while we were on a 7-night cruise. I was very nervous since this is the longest any of has have left our furbabies with someone who wasn’t family. However, Sarah was extremely professional and gave us a huge sense of security and relief knowing they were safe in my home taken care of and treated like family. She sent timely updates and photos (and snuggled in bed) with every visit and kept me in the loop the entire vacation! I cannot thank Sarah and Queen City PS for their services. It is so wonderful to have this option in the future. We are already planning our next trip!

We’ve used Queen City Pet Sitting 2-3 times now and would highly recommend them for anyone in the area. Our pet sitters came to meet us, get the layout of the house, introduce themselves to the pets (5 cats, some more skittish than others), and set up the schedule with us. Each pet sitter was diligent in letting us know when they stopped by the house and sent pictures of the pets (have added some of those to this review). We’ve had great experiences with them and will continue to use them when we have trips out of town! Stacey, the owner, and the staff are very communicative, friendly, and quick to answer questions whenever asked!

We were really happy with the care that Dennis took over our two cats while we were away. He visited us beforehand to learn the routine and meet them, and then communicated really thoroughly with us about each visit, including photos. That really set our minds at ease that the cats were being well looked after. We'd highly recommend him and Queen City Pet Sitting.

I have been using QCPS for about 2 months now and they have been there for me during 3 separate trips over that time period. I cannot say enough good things about this service. Stacey (owner) is absolutely fantastic and goes above and beyond for her clients. My dog, Whiskey (pictured), is a bit of a "special needs" case as he does not get along well with other pups. Additionally, I happen to live in a high-rise filled with other pups. So, getting him in and out safely can be a challenge. I have now had three visits without incident. The team (Casey and James) that have looked after Whiskey have taken the time to get to know him, understand his routine and ensure that my travel has not come at the expense of my best friend, Mr. Whiskers. In my most recent business trip, we were almost unable to find anyone to watch him and I was facing the possibility of driving 9.5 hours each way to and from Florida for a video shoot. Stacey came through in the last minute, offering up her office manager as a solution. Her words, "I put myself in your shoes and I just couldn't do that to you." These people are incredible, reasonably priced, care about you & your fuzzy buddies personally and I am just so very thankful I found them!

My family had a long trip planned, at the last minute I realized I needed pet care, my usual sitter wasn’t available. One of my neighbors uses someone from Queen City and loves them. So I reached out, the owner Stacey immediately called me, she hooked me up with the best pet sitter ever! Sharon took such good care of my babies, went above and beyond doing things that needed done like bringing in packages. I was nervous at first because I didn’t know her, but Stacey reassured me she’d been thoroughly background checked with lots of glowing references. She lived up to all the praise!! It’s so nice to have someone like that to trust your fur babies and your home with when you leave town. I’m so grateful to Stacey and Sharon…they took care of me and my babies when I was in need!

Great doggy daycare and boarding place! My dog absolutely loves coming here and it makes me feel much more at ease when they always recognize him and say they love him, even though I know he can be a bit of a stubborn old man at times. Will not take my pup anywhere else when I need to board him!

Best doggie daycare. They take care of my Chiweenie so well. He always sleeps so well on the way home. They nicknamed him Chiwee-wee and now the whole family calls him that.

I gave this place a couple days before I decided to rate it to be sure I loved it as much as I thought I did - and boy do I! I found Midwood Barkery on google when I had to go out of town last minute for the weekend. They accommodated my two German Shephard’s and took great care of them. Neither of my dogs have been to day care before let alone a boarding facility, I’ve always gone the Rover route so I was a bit nervous. It went so well, the next day I enrolled my youngest dog in unlimited day care! The employees at this place know what they’re doing. I have tried to get Koda into day care at other facilities and he was turned away twice at his initial meet and greet because he was barking a lot. Koda has a TON of energy and gets overly excited, but the staff here knew just how to handle him! He has been playing so great and looks forward to going everyday. He sits by the front door every morning and waits! I have included a picture of him at the begging of the day, and the end of the day. He is exhausted, and that makes me a VERY happy doggy mom! My only comment is I wish I could see more pictures/ videos of Koda playing during the day. They are good about sending pictures when asked, but I hate asking! But that’s a minimal complaint compared to how well taken care of my dog is and how much fun he has during the day! I never thought I’d see the day where Koda was able to go to day care. We are on day 5 now, and the staff already knows me, my car, and my dog by name! They’re great I cannot recommend it enough

Boarded my husky puppy here for the first time. She loved getting to play with all the other dogs there and came home exhausted. The workers send updates and take photo shoots so you can see your pup when you’re out of town. I got her groomed before I picked her up and they did such a good job. I will definitely use them again in the future when I have to board my pup!! Definitely recommend(:

The folks that work at Midwood are really great with dogs. We've boarded our dog here several times over the past two years, and she's always happy (and tired from playing the whole time she's there). They also have a great deal on bulk daycare passes. Highly recommend.

Derrick and company are the kindest and most likeable people you will ever meet! Our dog Sr. Cappuccino absolutely loves going to doggy daycare with them, he runs right out of our car to see them!

Never did I ever think I would turn into “crazy dog Dad” but hey, I love my dog and want the best for him and to be well taken care of while I’m away. I’ve used these guys for boarding and for doggy daycare and they do a great job. I always feel comfortable, leaving my dog here knowing he will be in good shape from the time I drop him off to the time I pick him up. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and give you the full report on how they were while gone. Highly recommend this place!
