Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

Due to a family emergency, I had to leave the country earlier than I had planned, and needed a sitter to fill in the gap between my departure and another sitter. Michele responded within minutes of my posting the sit, and then we spoke and confirmed the sit within hours. Her husband, Israel, was coming from Mexico to France, while she and her kids were to come from Sweden. When Michele’s travel plans changed, and she wouldn’t be able to come with her children, she assured me that Israel would still come to look after the house and dogs. To do this, for a stay of only five days, he flew to Paris, and then to the south of France, where he rented a car and drove the rest of the way to my place. As I was already traveling, the previous sitters filled him in on the various things that needed to be tended to: caring for two dogs, tending to hens, watering 90 young olive trees daily, as well as other things. The place is big and it took me 3-4 weeks when I first moved in to figure out where things were and what to do. Israel mastered everything upon his arrival, sent me daily updates with photos of my two VERY happy dogs. In addition to all the upkeep, he managed to hike with the dogs daily. I arrived home to find everything perfectly maintained, two fit and and Israel’s guest house cleaner than it was when he arrived. Immaculate. I cannot even express my gratitude for to both Michele and Israel for such a sacrifice and commitment to do that for me. It was a very difficult time, as I was dealing with the loss of both my son and my mother. I did not worry for one second while my dogs and home were in Israel’s hands. Thank you both, so, so much. You’re welcome back anytime, with the entire family, even just for a visit, maybe just a well-deserved holiday, with no dog- or house- sitting!
Janet and Bob were great to our pups and our home! They were our first sitters so we weren’t really sure what we were getting into, but they made it an awesome experience! They are coming back to stay with our dogs again in August. Definitely trust them with your fur babies!! 🐾🐶
This is our second time with Jamie and she’s really a great sitter for our dogs . She’s a trusted person, smart. You can leave her your house and pets. Can’t wait to have Jaimie back next summer
If we could give 10 out of 5 stars for Candace, Brian, and Chris, we would! They were amazing house and dog sitters for Brown Dog and Scout. They were so accommodating with our timeline and had read our welcome guide to a tee! It was so reassuring being gone for 2 weeks and knowing our pups were in amazing hands. They sent us daily updates and pictures and it was clear the dogs were so well cared for! They left the house very clean and even had all of our bedding and towels washed for us when we arrived home. Would absolutely recommend them for a sit and would love to have them back again any time!
Cyndi was fabulous. I'd describe her as the no fuss no muss dog sitter. While some dog sitters need guidance on every little detail, Cyndi was completely self-sufficient. She left the home in perfect shape and totally adored my pup. I'd gladly welcome her back anytime!
Lori is the best of the best! I would recommend her 100 times over! Lori is great at communicating and our dogs were extremely happy. She was very attuned to our dog’s anxiety and did a great job making the dogs feel safe and loved. The house was spotless when we returned. Lori also had the job of taking care of my numerous plants. I have to say the plants look better when I got home than they did before I left😂 Lori has a green thumb. Lori is so kind and just a wonderful person. Rest assured if you choose her as your sitter your dog and home are in the best hands. Thank you again, Lori! Blessings!
Wendy sat for us on three occasions this Summer and I can’t say enough good things about her. The dogs were well taken care of and she was, organized, tidy, and responsible. It’s great to find a house/pet sitter that you can rest easy knowing everything is taken care of. We are hoping she will want to spend more time in the PNW!
Joe arrived some days before I left, so I could show him some nice places in Switzerland and he had enough of time to learn all about the dogs and how to handle them. He is an amazing nice and an animal/natur loving person who took care of my dog with incredible affection when I was in vacation. I could really enjoy it, because I knew, everything is ok at home. He sent me picutres and I could see, how much fun they have together. He cooked for the dogs, mad a lot of nice hikes with them and huged them, when they need it - so he even got the trust from Artu (as a man really not easy). And not only that, he made woodruff punch for me and sowed my tomatoes and spoiled them with melt water. And he helped also the women which looked after the horses and helped her to going walk with them. Generelly he is super friendly, so everyone in the village likes him. He is considerate of your belongings and has handed the house back neatly. He is just the best. I'm so gratuful he was here. So, if you have a chance to get him as a sitter, take it. Your animals will be grateful to you and have a good time while you are on vacation. Joe, you're not just a dog sitter for me. You were so familiar to me from the first moment. We had a lot of fun and we already miss you sooooo much. I'm really looking forward to see you again in some monthes.
Mikayla was a superb house/dog sitter for us for one full week. She was an excellent communicator, very quiet and tidy (respectful of the space) and best of all she quickly bonded with our big dog Mouse. She cheerfully took her for long walks and shared photo updates regularly. I highly recommend Mikayla.
Oh my Goodness! Where to begin. Linda was the perfect house sitter for us and the perfect pet sitter for Olivia! She is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. When we returned from out two week vacation all our plants were alive, the garden was alive, the birds and fish had been fed regularly, and the dog was alive and happy! What more can you ask for, right? Well with Linda you get all that and more. Updates as you request - even videos of her morning walks with Olivia. The house as spotless as we left it, maybe even better! Even the porches were clean! Linda is a genuine treasure and our recommendation would be 10 stars if there were that many!!

This may be a bit long, but it needs to be said. I try to be respectful of business owners and their challenges in running their establishments when I post reviews. I am not a person that expects more than I am paying for and definitely try to give the benefit of the doubt when there is disagreement. But today,I have to give this location a 1 star review for the situation that occured this morning. We rescued our dog Finn from Mississippi 8 weeks ago. He is between 9 months and a year old. The day that we brought him home, he played for about 3 hours with our next door neighbor's dog nonstop. He did not bark a single time. We brought him to this daycare for the first time on June 2nd for a trial, the folks here told us when we picked him up that he was awesome and had such a good day playing with the other dogs. 2nd visit we were asked to pick him up because there were worms discovered in his poop. No problem. Finn was treated and today we went back for his third visit. Wife got a call to come pick him up because he wanted to play too much. Owner told her that Finn did not know "how to read the room". Finn wanted to play and when the other dogs did not want to play, Finn continued to try to get them to play. WHAT??. I thought that we sent our dogs to daycare to play. Finn is not an aggressive dog. He has a lot of energy but is not a problem dog. He wants to play with other dogs. When my wife went to pick him up, there was an issue getting a refund. What? He was there for less than an hour. While she was working with the staff to understand what was happening, she asked Finn to sit. He did immediately and sat there until she was done talking to the owner. Not sure what is going on here, but we will not be back.
Couldn't ask for a better place to drop our pup, Abby! Take a look at this picture - would you believe this passed out lump is a 4.5 month old lab? She is so excited to spend the day with her friends, and has so much fun - that when she comes home, she conks right out because she's so tired. The staff is incredibly friendly, and caring. Total gem to have right down the street!
I love coastal canine. The staff is very friendly and they genuinely care about the dogs. They do whatever they can to make sure the dogs are taken care of and comfortable. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of hours you get. Highly recommend.
Jake loves his daycare. He looks forward to going. We are so happy they are there for our pups! Definitely would recommend! The best doggie daycare!!❤️❤️💙💙🐾 …
We love, love, love Coastal Canine. They treat your dog like their own family members. I never have to worry about my fur baby when he is in their care. Kind, courteous, professional, and they truly love their dog clients. Thank you Coastal Canine!
My pup loves it here. They are open Monday through Friday and for an extra fee can pick up and drop off.
I feel very comfortable leaving my dogs there. Being a family owned daycare, they really take very good care of their furry clients. Love this place
My dog loves it here! Staff are friendly and helpful, you can tell they love these dogs. Ramona comes home happy and tired 😊 …
My boy Milos happy place coastal canine daycare 💗❤️ …
Chesty loves going here, and from what they tell me they love seeing him come in. He has a blast the whole time hes there and is usually the bulldog that is running like hes the energizer bunny.
PLEASE READ!! My girlfriend and I decided to try out UpperCapeK9s for daycare for our 1.5 year old lab mix, as we recently moved to the area and saw great reviews. DO NOT be fooled by the reviews/pictures -- There is a very small, narrow fenced in dirt area that loops around the side of the house where the dogs are allowed, or otherwise, they are kept in their crates in a small room (which they were reluctant to show during our "tour"). While the owner, Bob, and his wife seem to do work around the yard and house, they lock the dogs up. There is no "crew" watching the dogs as mentioned. After the first time meeting Bob, we could sense that something was slightly off -- he was very brief when meeting/touring the location & came off as a rude. We couldn't tell if there were other dogs there & our otherwise friendly pup would not come/go near him. We decided to give him benefit of the doubt due to his "30 years of experience" as we needed a close place for our pup to relieve energy with other dogs. After showing up 5-10 minutes late for 8am drop off, Bob asked us to be more punctual as he "plans his day in 15-minute increments". I've never heard of that for drop off at a dog daycare, but I thought it was fair and respected his ask. Fast forward a week later, I show up on time for 4:45pm pickup and Bob, nor his wife, are there -- we were never under the impression that he would leave the dogs unsupervised at any point. After texting him, he lets me know that he's running late & will be home in 5 minutes. He then continued to scold me for having "no boundaries" for opening his unlocked gate to the usual pickup area. After a few other rude remarks, he then opened the gate to let my dog out and INTENTIONALLY didn't put his leash on so that he could run away. And this is only the second week of bringing our pup. Moral of the story, listen to your gut if you feel something is off about the people who care for your dogs. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!
😞😞😞😞😞😞😞I feel so bad for bringing my pup here for daycare. The information on the website is very misleading!!!? It is not a facility like you imagine, it is a home based day care with a small dirt area for the dogs. We were not shown inside the building where the dogs stay. Owner was dismissive when asking questions to better understand the area. Just very rude & aggravated by presence. Needs to find a better way to speak to people, especially for business purposes. Arrived to pick up my pup & he was not home, hmmm???😓
Bob and Linda are wonderful, caring people who love dogs. Highly recommended!
I went away to the Florida Keys and left Eli for boarding with upper cape k9 for 5 days. Price is GREAT! It’s the best feeling in the world going away and knowing your dogs are in great hands while you are away. Checked in with Eli and all was well while I was away. Eli came home exhausted but I just know he had a great time. He was also sent home with treats. Which I thought was a great little gift. Bob is great! Friendly, caring, responsive, knows his stuff and most importantly took such good care of my pup Eli. Highly recommend sending your pup here whether it’s for daycare, boarding or whatever your needs are!
Bob and the group at Upper Cape K9s took great care of our active German Shepherd hound mix. He made sure she settled in and didn't let her bark the whole time like she had at other kennels. Their spot in the woods is much nicer than some other places we have been. I'm sure we will be coming back!
We use UpperCapeK9 for training, boarding, and daycare! We have an active 10 month old puppy and couldn’t recommend UpperCape enough.
I highly recommend Bob , I am a dog trainer here in wareham and bring my dog here ,and recommend him to my clients and they all are very happy with him . Price is excellent for daycare and boarding. Bob's your guy ! Best Krissy Hunt
Bob does a great job with the dogs. Well run
Went to pick up my sister's dog and was really was happy to see the place. Very nice, serene area, and owner was extremely nice. I could tell really cared about the animals. Gave a complimentary dog treat as well. I definitely recommend 👌 …
I have had a fantastic experience while boarding my cat here for three separate trips. It’s always hard to leave a pet behind while away but I have complete peace of mind. Lisa is such a lovely person and takes beautiful care of both her boarding cats and entire business. The space is immaculate and perfectly maintained. I received updates twice a day with careful attention to my cat’s eating and litter habits to make sure he was happy and healthy. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to Lisa and her staff for their wonderful care. It means so much to know that my cat has such a great place to enjoy himself when I can’t be home with him 💕 If you are looking for somewhere to board your cat, I can highly and enthusiastically recommend Upper Cape Pet Services with zero hesitation
I have been with Upper Cape Pet for years and have always had nothing but amazing experiences. Most recently I have needed their service a great deal. I have been fortunate that I am able to meet my dog care specialist daily. Each and every person I have had the pleasure of meeting is kind, loving, timely, a great communicator and most importantly my dogs love when they pull up. They go over and above to ask if I, personally, need anything and make sure every little detail is taken care of before they depart. I am very fortunate to have Lisa and her crew in our lives to help out in times of need and also for the dogs pure enjoyment.!
First time customer likely turned permanent! Heather was fantastic with my doodle. We came in 10-15 minutes before his appointment so he could get accustomed to the area. Heather came right out in a couple minutes and greeted us. My dog was very excited/hyper (also anxious) - she met his energy with calm but playfulness and he warmed right up. NO grabbing by his collar to get him to settle, no yanking him or dragging him to the back. She was very receptive to his behavior and needs. I let Heather know what I’d like and she estimated 1.5 hours. He was done in a couple minutes past 1.5 hours; excellent estimation! My dog came out looking like my teddy bear. She said he did great & removed the dematting service I originally added because he was fine (I wasn’t sure if he’d need. Usually doesn’t but in case so they have the time.) The salon is open and quite clean; not overcrowded with numerous dogs at once. They have a sort of gated area like mini stalls for pups - I did not see any kennels/cages. It was $90 (without tip) for his mini groom, which was exactly what he needed. I live about 45 minutes away but am definitely coming back to see Heather!! I ended up booking his next 2 grooms before I left. Thank you for a great experience.
Upper Cape did a great job on my Chow Chow, one of the most difficult breeds. My Buddy is a senior. They were most careful about his aging issues - warts and hip problems. I was very pleased, I’ve already booked his next appointment. I also felt the pricing was quite reasonable and good smelling cologne! I would highly recommend. And look who went back to Upper Cape Pet Services and even handsomer than ever!
I brought my beagle mix in for a bath and nail clipping. I dropped my dog off at the 12:00 appointment time. I returned an hour and a half later and they hadn’t started and would text me when done. I said okay, no problem. 35 minutes later I received a text that she was finished. I arrived to pick up my dog and Crystal handed me the dog’s leash now in 3 separate pieces. She said “Your leash broke,” and handed it back to me. It’s a thick cloth leash that was in perfect condition. Apparently she was crated for the hour and a half they were running behind. No one mentioned a crate as I would have told them she is extremely crate phobic. She suffered for an hour and a half having a panic attack and chewing through the heavy leash. I keep reading about how deeply my dog’s well being is your first priority. Unfortunately that was not my dog’s experience. Crystal didn’t apologize for the 90 minute delay, or the crate, or the leash. Our dog did smell good at least. I’m hoping my review will be taken as a learning experience for the future. Perhaps let the client know if you’re running late and take some responsibility for excessive crate time and destroyed leash. It would have made all the difference and I would even have brought my pup back for another try.
I highly recommend Upper Cape Pet Sitting! Lisa and her team are so wonderful I feel like they love my dog as much as I do! It has taken me about 1.5 years to find a good pet sitter on cape cod and I am so glad I found them! They send a report after every visit with details and lots of pictures. When they are watching my dog I know I can totally relax. I also recently starting using their grooming services and they are superb. I have received soooo many compliments on the way he looked after. I have not had much luck with groomers in the past and I am thrilled to have one that makes my dog look just the way I want him to! I can’t say enough good things about this business. Even the app they use to schedule/pay/communicate is very user friendly. :)
Amazing amazing amazing! I have a 100lb dog with so much hair and these ladies always do such an amazing job with her. Macie had some anxiety after getting spayed and UCPS took such great care of her, she’s totally comfortable now! I have seen Vanessa, Amirah and Crystal and they are all so talented. I highly recommend to anyone especially if they have a large breed.
we absolutely love Vanessa. She is incredible with the dogs and the dogs. Love her.❤️
Great place! Took my cat here for a grooming - he’s pretty feisty and refuses to get brushed. Booking was super easy, convenient text follow ups. They did a great job making my cat comfortable and he looks fabulous now! Clean, newly remodeled space, very friendly and caring staff. Their cat hotel looks luxurious. Thank you!!!
We have used UCPS several times and couldn't be happier with them. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats, some of whom need medication. Care has been flawless. And the reports and pictures are very reassuring. Highly recommend!!
My Sophie has been going since she was a puppy. She is now 12 years old and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dog! Christine’s Pet Care is the best.
We boarded our very nervous rescue with Angie and the experience was wonderful! We did a once a week daycare to prepare our little one. She was tail wagging the day we dropped her off for boarding. She loved it there and Angie is very kind, patient, loving. Five stars all the way! Highly recommend Angie's Pet Care! So happy we found her!
Dogs love it!!! Nice set up & location. Angie is so nice & easy to work with. Very helpful!!
Angie puts the care in pet care. The animals love her and she and her staff love the animals.
Angie is great She really has a way with pets and is so concientous.
Great place! It's clean and well run. My dog likes it there.
JAC has been amazing for us. Their app makes it super easy to schedule visits. I get pictures and notes each time they take our dog out. I feel comfortable and relaxed when we’re away from home, knowing that our fur baby is being taken care of!
Ellen and team are awesome!!! Always available on last minute requests and team are very good with our two young dogs. They are a lot of work but her team do a great job taking care of them and the dogs love when they come to visit them each week.
I’ve been using JAC for weekly walks for almost two years! The pups look forward to their visits on my long work days & I have peace of mind that my dogs are getting outside to do their business & get some exercise. This team truly goes above and beyond and I can see the care and love through the messages and pictures they send through the app. If they have any issues (such as a possible tick etc) they call me right away. I know my dogs are in good hands with JAC! Photos from the JAC team 🤍
My boy Wilson takes an adventure walk with Wayne every Friday morning. I swear he knows when it is Friday and waits near the door for him. Wayne takes him to all different trails I and around Plymouth. Always sends a report card and always sends pictures. These folks are really fabulous. It has been great for Wilson since he is still a pup, with energy! Give them a try!!!
JAC is a wonderful organization, everyone thoughtful and friendly. They provide the flexibility I need as my schedule can change and sometimes unexpectedly. My dog loves all the pet sitters/walkers and enjoys her outings with them and they seem to truly enjoy what they do. I didn't think getting pictures was anything special, until I started getting them from the dog walkers. The pics that make me laugh or smile on a tough day are the best!!
I had a fantastic experience with Just Around the Corner! As a nervous pet owner leaving my pets at home for the first time during a three-day vacation, I was initially skeptical about how they would handle strangers in the house. However, the constant updates through the app quickly put my mind at ease! The consistent photo updates amused me and kept me laughing the entire time! My animals were well cared for, and my home was maintained impeccably. Their routines remained consistent, and it was as if nothing had changed. I will absolutely use their services again!
We have been clients of Pam and JAC since the very beginning, I clearly remember when she came to our house for the Meet and Greet with us and our Sharpei Ace , many years ago and we have been with her ever since. She has steadily grown her business, employing the most friendly and compassionate professionals to care for our dog, take him on daily hikes, and any other services that are needed. All of the staff at JAC are so friendly and treat our dog as their own. I trust each and every member of the JAC team with my pup, they are the very best in the business! I honestly don’t know what I would do without them! Thank you so much to everyone at JAC!
We have been using just around the corner well over 5 years. They are simply are the best in the area. Our dogs love them. The walkers always go the extra mile!!!! Five stars. .
JAC and their employees do a great job of taking care of my little Yorkie! They pay good attention to her and her needs, they check my home for accidents and issues, and are responsive to my communication. JAC treats my dog like their own and she loves her visits from them!
I used Just Around the Corner Petting Sitting when I went away for 5 days and 4 nights this past week for my two cats Nora and Quinn. While I was away, I received detailed day to day updates on my cats and a ton of great pictures. It definitely put my mind at ease to see that they were comfortable and having fun! The sitters also followed my instructions to a T. I will definitely be using JAC on my next trip out of town. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Plymouth area looking for great pet care!
I’ve been bringing my dog jasper for grooming to Kathy for a while now. I was hesitant trying to find a groomer as this is our first dog and wasn’t sure where to bring him. But I have to say thank you Kathy you always do an excellent job! Today jasper went for a cool looking Mohawk I was nervous but Kathy was confident and knew exactly what to do, jasper looked adorable!!!! Thank you again Kathy for taking care of our very energetic puppy 🐶😄!!!
I have been a long term client of Pet Recess and was sad to read the 1 star review. I can tell you that Julia Dixon is the most hardest working Doggy Day Care owner I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She cares so much for all the dogs under her care. She equally is passionate about her staff. They work long hours, they are truly a happy family and it shows with every staff interaction. She runs a wonderful business as well as being involved in rescuing dogs in Antigua. She deserves 10 stars for how she runs Pet Recess.
They are the BEST! we have 2 difficult rescue dogs and Alice and Jasper actually get excited when we bring them. They love the staff and everyone there is so good at working with them. We're able to keep them together and they get private play because they're not great around other dogs and it's never a problem. We know we can leave the country and our dogs are safe, happy and having a blast.
I just moved to Lakeville and wanted to find a groomer closer to us and I couldn’t be happier choosing Pet Recess! All the women i spoke and interacted with were so nice and accommodating! My three dog came out so good and were in great moods! I couldn’t recommend them enough!
My dog Sunny goes 2 days a week. She seems to love it.. She sleeps very well when she gets home. The staff is always very friendly.
They are beyond amazing with my pup Oscar. He loves everyone there and gets beyond excited as soon as we pull in.
I'd like to just preface this review with, my husband and I have been taking our three dogs to Pet Recess for 4+ years and have utilized all services. Daycare, boarding and Grooming. Typically our dogs would attend daycare during the week and on very rare occasions would attend daycare on a Saturday. If our dogs were attending daycare on a Saturday, they were usually boarded for the weekend. In our time at Pet Recess all interactions were positive and cordial that is unless Julia Dixon, the owner was working. Any time Julia is working you can expect a crass, overall unfriendly attitude. But I never minded because you never know what people are going through. My dealings were mostly with Melissa who is fantastic. But fast forward to this past weekend my husband and I were hosting our son's first birthday party and opted to send our three dogs to Pet Recess for the day. We mistakenly believed pick-up was at 7pm but were quick to realize it was actually 5pm after receiving several borderline threatening voicemails and texts from Julia Dixon. My husband spoke with Julia on the phone who was audibly huffing and puffing but had agreed to stay open for us to pick up our dogs. Again, we were in the wrong and understood that we were, and my husband apologized again. Upon arrival at 5:30pm to Pet Recess my husband walked in and the first words out of Julia Dixon's mouth was "Five-o-clock means Five-o-clock". Now my very even keel husband had to endure a barrage of insulting, argumentative and just plain nastiness. All the while having planned on going in and apologizing for our oversight. Now were we wrong in mixing up the time? Certainly. But just the demeanor of this women, and how she speaks to customers is disgusting. We were charged an excessive late fee, that I’m sure was created on the spot, as everything is more expensive when Julia is working. But it was mutually agreed we would never take our dogs back to Pet Recess again. It is baffling how years patronage can just be thrown away without a second thought. Especially as we had never been late before. I just wanted to pass along my experience. If being treated like garbage doesn’t bother you, then by all means go. But if like me, a reasonable person, you value good customer service and just kindness and understanding. Go elsewhere, you won’t find that with Julia Dixon and Pet Recess. Also, if you’ve made it this far, take a look some of the other negative reviews. You can see for yourselves, the responses are from Julia and even her responses are nasty and argumentative. So to Julia Dixon, good luck with that business model and I hope you have the day you deserve. To the staff of Pet Recess thank you for 4+ years of kindness and true love of animals. My dogs loved and were genuinely excited to go. I also apologize to those working on Saturday, February 24th, it was my oversight and I truly apologize making you stay past 5.
Pet Recess is the best of the best! Hands down a great facility where you can trust your pet to be in great and caring hands. They are clean, responsive and very friendly. Most important, they take care of my dog with love and respect. We’ve utilised the daycare and grooming services and both exceeded expectations. The groomer (Kathy) is very loving and gentle with our dog who is always very timid. Somehow we drop her off as a timid, shy dog and pick her up as an energetic and happy pup who got to play with friends. It’s been the best experience. Our dog also has some special needs when it comes to skincare and her ears. The Groomers are well equipped to handle these needs and the products they use are top notch. I also really appreciate that they focus certain days of the year on staff training, it’s another example of why Pet Recess is the best! We used to live right down the street from but have since moved about 25 mins away. However, there is no other groomer I’d trust my dog to, It’s worth the drive every time! Thank you Pet Recess for treating our dog like family!
My dog loves coming here. We recently got a second dog and will be sending him there as well.
I cannot talk about how amazing Kathy in grooming is enough. She's the absolute best with my old girl Pebbles and I am so incredibly grateful that I've found someone who is so patient and understanding to work with her. I will never go anywhere else for grooming, even if I move out of town. No where has ever been so good to my girl before this place. Thank you so much Kathy ❤️
We love sending our dogs to little paws. We have two chihuahuas and they have spent many weekends there. They are old and needing daily medication and we feel so confident in the care that little Paws gives them during their stay. They are tailored to small dogs under 40lbs. There are separate comfortable 'cubicles' for each dog and an indoor playroom with a TV and various furniture items for the dogs to play/lounge on. There is also a closed in space outside for the dogs to play in good weather. The staff cares about your dog having a great stay, and they give them lots of attention and playtime. They are very friendly and professional. The home is onsite for 24 hour monitoring. They even have cameras on your dog 24/7 so you can see your dog, if you are having those moments of worry. They also offer flexible pick up/drop off times to make it convenient for you to get them in and out. We have been bringing our pups there for about 5 years and we are never dissatisfied. If you are looking for a caring, knowledgeable place to take care of your small dogs, Little Paws is hands down the place you should send them! You will not be dissatisfied!!.
Michelle was absolutely incredible. My bichon went a bit longer than necessary for a haircut and Michelle had her washed and cut within half the time I normally spent at a chain grooming salon. My puppy looks fabulous!! I am so so impressed and would highly recommend!!!
This place is great for grooming small dogs. My little babies are very anxious and nervous and Michelle is very patient with them and does a great job. I am able to trust them here as they are attentive to the dogs.
Little Paws Bed And Bath is THE place to go with your small dog. Geoff and Erin are the nicest people and take such good care of each dog that stays with them. Each dog has his or her own individual room and plenty of attention. There is also a large indoor and outdoor play area for your dog to exercise. The place is AMAZING! Erin is an excellent groomer and has years of experience working with small breeds. Stop in for a visit and you'll agree this is the best place for your dog to stay.
We have been boarding our two dogs at Little Paws since 2017. We have a senior Pug and younger King Charles Cavalier. We have boarded from one to fourteen nights. Owner Erin allows to customer to see their suites which are clean and bright. She has provided the option for the customer to view their loved ones on camera while away. Erin provides flexibility for your boarding needs and is always easy to get in touch. Little Paws caters exclusively to smaller dogs and I believe the size limit is around 30 pounds. Our boys weigh around 20 pounds each. Thank you for providing for our pet boarding needs which allow us to rest easy while away.
Best place ever. Boarding for dogs 40 lbs and under. Erin and Geoff are super nice. My 5 lb Chihuahua Bella was cozy, taken care of and socialized with other small dogs in a safe and loving environment. They have an app that allows you to check in on your pet at any time. These still pics are from the live video. Love it. Will be back.
Excellent boarding and grooming facility. Wont take my little pup anywhere else. Michelle the groomer has over 20 years of experience and it shows. Erin the owner is very nice and even has a huge playroom for the dogs in boarding.
From the very moment I walked my dog through the door, I knew it was going to be a wonderful experience. Not only was the place warm and inviting but the 2 owners ,Geoff and Erin, created a phenomenal home away from home for the dogs staying in their care. * Clean as a whistle ( my dog came home smelling fresh) * live video 24/7: ( it was so great to have an app on the phone to check in on my dog whenever I wanted- peace of mind) * flexible/accommodating: ( pickup/drop off, never been easier) AMAZING! 100% recommended
Erin is a gem! Ever since we've found her, our cavaliers are always boarded with her. She notices every little thing about your dog and does whatever she can to resolve the problem. She is reliable, responsible, and professional. All around great place for your puppies!!!
Awesome, Erin is the best! Would not take my dog anywhere else, just a beautiful place.
