I’m sure most folks say the nicest things about their sitter, but honestly, if there were a “super star” status available then Denise would win the prize as sitter of the year!

From the start, Denise was an excellent communicator.  While we were still in the decision phase, Denise was always available to chat either by FaceTime, telephone or text.  It was so easy to choose Denise; as you can see from her countless 5 star reviews, she truly is the only pet sitter you’d ever need and the one everyone hopes to have.  

Denise came to our house eager to meet us, our pets and the quirks of our house.  Denise has an excellent sense of humor and immediately put us all at ease.  Our pets took to her as if she was a long lost friend (even our finicky Siamese cat was loving on her from the start).  

While we were gone, our dog had a non-emergency health issue come up and just like that Denise was taking her to our vet, and administered the dog’s meds like a champion (Denise is also a nurse BTW).  Additionally, Denise brought our pup to her scheduled groom appointments and even made future appointments for us to make our return home as seamless as possible.

Denise was even above and beyond helpful to our neighbors and they appreciated her giving them access to our refrigerator when theirs broke down on Thanksgiving Eve!  

When we got home we were super impressed by how perfectly immaculate our house was!  Most sitters leave the house clean, but Denise met and may have even exceeded our military standards of clean and orderly.  Seriously, our house felt like we never left it.  Everything was spotless, shinny and clean.  She didn’t miss a beat!!  Our pets were so happy to see us but honestly, I felt like our pup and kitty were disappointed when we walked in the door (I believe they were expecting to see Denise!).  Haha.  

If you are ever fortunate enough to have Denise apply for any of your sits then I can’t recommend her enough.  Seriously, you can stop reviewing applicants and just go with Denise.  She was awesome in every sense of the word and I hope she’ll come back and stay with our pets again.

Such a great family! George, Larissa and their crew were a fantastic bunch. Our large senior dog got an eye infection right before we left for our trip and so we had to ask them to do some extra eye care. When it was clear that it wasn’t getting better they were willing to load up Lorax and take him to a vet appointment and then apply the prescribed ointment for the next week and a half. Definitely above and beyond care that we really appreciated!
Our house was left in great shape, our pets were super well cared for, and George and Larissa were great communicators. We have had many many sitters over the past 3 years but this was the first family. Nothing to worry about, they were terrific and we would happily have them back again.

We initially accepted Deirdre and Jason for a long stay to look after our dogs.  We were very happy they accepted.  A few weeks later we realized we needed another sitter for another trip we had planned.  So, we posted more dates on zeewoi.  To our happy surprise,  Deirdre and Jason reached out to us saying they could also look after our dogs and home with the new dates we posted.   This made our life much easier and we were very confident to have Deirdre and Jason stay longer with us and care for our dogs.

We were definitely right!! D&J have countless experiences on zeewoi with very good reviews from all of their previous sits.  They are very experienced with all aspects of a house/pet sitting.  D&J are very self-sufficient, have the background knowledge and education of pet care, and most importantly a genuine love for all animals.  This is most important for my wife and I.  We knew from the first meeting with our pups they loved animals.  

Communication was excellent.  The process before and during our sit was stress-free for us.  We were given daily updates on our dogs including photos and videos.  Any concerns D&J had were vocalized to us.  D&J are also problem solvers and know how to react many challenging situations.  Our routine for our pets was followed immaculately and all dogs were very happy and connected with them.  Even our female dog Kinki grew close so quickly with D&J which is very rare.  We had ZERO issues while we were gone and we were able to really enjoy our trip while we were away.  The dogs definitely love being around D&J.


Homecare:  We are very pleased with the condition of our home when we returned.  It was clean, free of clutter, and exactly how we had left it for them, if not even better!  D&J even mowed our grass and took care of our yard! Our yard is not a small garden.  It is very big and takes hours to mow.  So we were very surprised and excited to know they did that for us even though it's not expected of our sitters!! They definitely went above and beyond what is expected. 

Our dogs are so very important to us.  When we know we can trust our sitters it's the best feeling in the world.  We definitely trust Deirdre and Jason with our most prized possessions and we look forward to the next sit with them in a few days!!! We can't thank them enough for giving our dogs the love and attention they deserve.

Susan and Jim were amazing sitters for my 2 boys whilst I went to Portugal to play golf. Communication we had prior to the sit was excellent, and we were able to discuss the dogs in detail. They arrived the day before I was due to leave so we were able to have a good handover.

They really looked after the dogs well, and my house was immaculate when I returned. I can't recommend them highly enough, just wished they lived in the UK so I could use them on a regular basis. Thank you Susan and Jim xx

Amara was a WONDERFUL sitter for our home and our dogs for the weekend. We were so comfortable with her being in our home, and she provided regular updates and photos of our babies. The house was clean upon arrival home - we would have no hesitation recommending her to others and hope she would consider coming back to spend more time with our dogs!

Shannon and Travis stepped up at the last minute when an earlier sitter canceled. Shannon and Travis took care our our large brood of animals for two weeks while we were out of the country over the Christmas holiday. They kept us informed about what was happening with the animals and our home. Our dog Pepper doesn’t like most people, but loved Travis and Shannon immediately. I would not hesitate to welcome Shannon and Travis back for another sit. They are very honest and friendly people. Their dog Dime is also awesome.

Alia is truly the most wonderful, loving and kind dog sitter I have used.  My husky LOVES her.  Not to mention whenever I travel and return home, my apartment is neat and orderly. Lori and Joe took great care of our two dogs and tow cats while we were gone. Our plans changed and we actually asked if they could come a day before we had originally planned to leave and they said no problem!   They even stayed over on the night we got home so that we could meet them which was very nice!

Lori was very good with communication before the house sit and also during the time they were here.  She  let us they had arrived safely and then sent us a short text or pictures every day of the  animals. 

The house looked cleaner than when we left it when we got home!  Lori and Joe were great house sitters and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!
