Can't say enough good things about this place just plain great. I have a 9 month old German Sheppard. He was there for a week. Home environment. He was happy when I picked them up and I could tell he did not want to leave. Highly recommended A-Plus.

Our dog loved it here! Rose was very informative by sending pictures, videos, and update messages throughout the boarding which was a HUGE help as we had never boarded our rescue pup previously and had a lot of anxiety going into it. Rose was a big help, and we will definitely consider boarding with her in the future!

We have boarded our dogs at this kennel twice now. Both visits were wonderful for our dogs and me, a nervous dog-mom. I received videos and pics every day we were gone. She was quick to respond to my questions and very friendly. She also took care of our diabetic dog. Something almost no other kennel will do. So thankful I found this place, will continue to board my dogs here in the future.

We were traveling through Tennessee on vacation and wanted to find someplace to take our dog while we went sightseeing. We were so lucky to find this place! They sent me pictures throughout the day of my dog and gave us updates as to how she was doing, and how she was getting along with the other dogs. She also gave me restaurant advice when we were looking for somewhere for dinner. She was fantastic. I really wish she were in Michigan and we could use her regularly. Thank you for a great experience!

I was looking for somewhere I could keep my elderly 14 yr old dog for the day while we went white water rafting in Hartford, Tennessee. I found Shawshank kennels nearby in Cosby. Felicia was very responsive in communication over text in prior days, and all the way up until drop off. I felt comfortable for the care my dog was going to receive during the day there. I was able to come inside and see where she could hang for the day, and was welcomed by her son. He even had their own dog separated, so he wouldn’t bother my old dog. He was very responsible and welcoming. I received a few pictures within the day, showing my elderly dog loose in their family room just laying on her blanket , which reassured me she was doing just fine. At pick up , I was greeted by her son again, letting me know that he even walked her too. The communication back-and-forth with Felicia was great, even though we didn’t meet face-to-face. She was busy at the times I was there. I took a chance, and I was really glad to have found Shawshank kennels …it really helped me during a long day since we were unable to have her with us ,and didn't want to leave her back at where we were staying. A great value and I feel she got quality care.

Excellent service. Received updates and photos of our three dogs through out the stay. My dogs appeared relaxed and well looked after. Rates were more reasonable for the care given. Highly recommend and would use again.

I couldn't ask for a better caretaker for our pup! She kept us updated with lots of pictures... I got an update that she was settled in shortly after drop off so I didn't spend the night worrying and could focus on our drive. We got daily updates and photos and she was clearly having a good time, received lots of one on one time, lots of play with other pups, was in a safe and loving environment! When we picked her up she showed no indication of being stressed or any other negative indicators. I am pretty dang sure she was even better behaved after she came home! Shes a young pup and we've been diligently working to potty train and it was clear they continued to work with her so she not only didn't regress but made progress! We left her while we made a brief visit to a diff state, but I would without a doubt not only consider them again if we went out of town, but also just for the day so she could play! 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing! I have never felt more comfortable leaving my dog in someone else’s care. We missed him dearly but we were so relieved he was having a blast. We were updated daily about his stay so we could be at peace during our day. We look forward to doing this again just to let our dog get in some play time.

Great place. We boarded our dog there when we were in Gatlinburg for a last minute forced vacation (evacuating from hurricane path). During our dog's stay, we received a lot of text messages with pictures of our dog, she looked happy and playful with other pups. Next time we're in town, we have no doubt who were leaving our pup with.

We brought our Great Dane while traveling in our Travel Trailer to visit from South Florida. We figured we could leave her in the trailer for a few hours while we went either Horseback riding or white water rafting. Quickly learned that while at home she would just lay down and sleep, she barked consistently due to not wanting to be left alone. In a bind I had no idea how we could go anywhere with our kids without my wife or I staying back. My wife scoured the internet and read previous reviews and we decided to give it a shot. She found Shaw Shank Kennels and OMG they are amazeballs! Our Abby tends to be shy at first but she quickly acclimated because it’s not a kennel, it’s a home! The dogs are screened ahead of time and you can tell Felisha loves animals. Her pricing is great and she stays open late. We absolutely loved bringing her there and you’re an idiot if you take your baby anywhere else. Darren

We have been using DCCC for over 2yrs and we will never trust anyone else to watch our fur babies. They do such a tremendous job of learning our pups, building a relationship with them and us as owners, communicate updates and truly treat each animal as their own! The property is beautiful, well taken care of and clean. I love the fact each dog gets one on one time outdoors, they post photos of your dog throughout their stay for you to check, they offer grooming options, and there is an option to keep dogs that live together staying together. Thank you for taking such great care of our fur babies!

I literally drive 90 min round trip to board my dog here. I have a terrified rescue who I only have to board occasionally. She always comes home happy as can be. I’ve tried a few other places including vets and it’s never worked out. The staff at Dumplin are amazing. I highly recommend.

The lady who works there is so friendly and really cares about all the animals. We dropped our dogs off for the afternoon and I had no worries. She lets them out individually( each kennal) periodically to run in the backyard which i know my pups appreciated. We will definitely be using this kennel in the future ❤

I have been using Dumplin Creek Critter Care for over a year and I believe this is one of the best groomers in Sevier County, TN. I have a wild goldendoodle and she is some how able to get her to relax while she grooms her. Fair prices and quality work with a smile. 100% recommended.

This is by far the best place to take your animals to. The owner is awesome and loves every animal like they are her own. She will post a ton of pics on social media of your pets playing and enjoying getting attention from her. I feel 100 percent better going out of town knowing that my furkids are in the best hands. They have fun while they are there and are always super excited about going on their own vacation when we drop them off.

I have been boarding and grooming my dogs here for years, and I will not take them anywhere else. I know they are loved and cared for here.

Excellent place to board animals. The owner is super friendly and works with you on short notice. Best prices around Knoxville!!! Easy to get to and worth the extra 15 minutes of driving for me.

I love Dumplin Creek Critter Care the owner has had many years of experience working in a Veterinary Hospital so I trust her fully to take care of all my furr babies the way they should be ! I have standard poodles and have been looking for a groomer every since the groomer they had closed her shop and with Deidra at Dumplin Creek Critter Care they are back to looking beautiful again !
