Susan and Jim were exceptional pet sitters for our 2 pups and cat! From the start they were communicative and asked thoughtful clarifying questions that made us feel comfortable immediately. We spent time together the evening before we left for vacation and it was clear that they had read our welcome doc and instructions. They referenced animal behaviors that were noted and confirmed details. They arrived about an hour before we left and gave us all plenty of time to feel comfortable with being in our home. Throughout our vacation, Susan sent photos and updates of our critters and let us know how they were spending their time together. Susan was quick to respond to my messages via WhatsApp any time I reached out. Susan and Jim stayed at our house until we landed at the airport and let them know we were safely on the ground. They fed and walked the dogs and let us know they would be gone before we got home. It was great knowing that had our flight been delayed, they would have stayed at the house until we were safe driving distance away. We came home to a sparkling clean home, a thriving and happy garden, and well cared for animals! Susan and Jim left us detailed notes of their stay and even gave us lots of instructions on how to keep our garden happy! What a treat! All our linens were washed and replaced and the house was immaculate. Thank you Susan and Jim for choosing our home and furry family to spend your time with! You were the best first experience we could have asked for and would love to have you back again!
Alexandria was by far our best sitter yet (and we've had excellent zeewoi sitters)! She was responsible, self sufficient and very responsive. She took the time to come meet our dog ahead of time and to run through the routine before our trip. She was communicative and sent great pics of her adventures with Rupee while we were away. She was extremely clean and followed our household routine. And to top it al off, she left us with a homemade vegetable soup for our jet lagged return home from Europe! Alexandria is a wonderful, kind and caring person that I am grateful to have met. I cannot thank you enough Alexandria!
Wendy sat for us on three occasions this Summer and I can’t say enough good things about her. The dogs were well taken care of and she was, organized, tidy, and responsible. It’s great to find a house/pet sitter that you can rest easy knowing everything is taken care of. We are hoping she will want to spend more time in the PNW!
Great sitter and kept in contact regularly. Would gladly have her sit for my dog again.
Lisa and Matt were absolutely fantastic sitters for us and our dog, Moose. Not only were they flexible when our flight was changed last minute, they also were able to stay an extra day to accommodate the changes. They communicated with us promptly during the scheduling and planning process for the housesit. They arrived on time on the (re)scheduled day. They acclimated to our dog very quickly and gave us piece of mind as we left by taking him on a walk to avoid his separation anxiety. We chatted every day and exchanged photos of Moose playing at the beach and in the yard. He was so happy! No problems were encountered with the house. Even our neighbors commented on how friendly and kind Lisa and Matt both were and how they really cared for Moose. The house was spotless when we returned. Everything in proper order, better than we left it. We can't thank them enough for the excellent experience!
Katrina and her family were amazing house sitters who took wonderful care of our dog. Our dog is reluctant to go on walks with new people, but the entire family pitched in and found ways to take her to the park. Her daughter developed a particularly close bond with our dog. Katrina communicated us frequently and we always felt reassured by her messages. We returned from our long trip to a spotless home and a beautiful cake in the fridge. What more could you want!
First things first, Linda is awesome! If she applies for one of your sits, you have to accept! This was our first time using zeewoi and is also the first time we have left our dog since we got him. Obviously, we were nervous at the beginning, but Linda removed all aspects of that. She is honestly one of the nicest, kindest, most polite people you will meet. From our first initial meeting, we knew that she was the sitter for us, and for Archie. The day that we left, Archie let out a little cry as we said goodbye. This was the first time he had done this (it broke our heart), but we knew he was in great hands! Throughout the week, Linda was extremely communicative. She would send us daily updates, share videos of their walks together, and send pictures of the two of them having fun. She spoiled Archie with love, attention, and a couple of new toys! When we returned, the house was in the exact same condition as we had left it, and was very clean and tidy. When Linda left, Archie ran to the door, started to cry, and sat/laid there for some time - And we think that this alone is a great reflection of the kind of person that Linda is. Linda – It was an absolute pleasure to host you in our home, thank you for everything that you did for us and Archie, and for making our first experience a positive and memorable one. Archie misses you! We hope you get the chance to do it again for us in the future.
As ever, Charlie was the perfect dog/house sitter - took loving care of our dog and looked after the house and garden as if they were her own; all returned in immaculate conditon!
Alia is truly the most wonderful, loving and kind dog sitter I have used. My husky LOVES her. Not to mention whenever I travel and return home, my apartment is neat and orderly. She even baked a treat for me on my return! I highly recommend Alia. She has sat for me several times and I can't wait to use her again. Thanks Alia! Me and Grey love having you:)
Veronica House sat for us for a month. She cared for our two Dobermans and our cat. Veronica is so enthusiastic about animals. They immediately pick up on her joy and love for them. When some bold alligators made our dogs’ normal exercise routine unsafe, she was faced with the challenging situation of keeping two Dobermans with very different temperaments exercised and entertained in the height of Florida summer with its bugs, heat, and humidity. She met this challenge by taking the dogs for individual outings. She drove our young social dog to the dog park, finding the times when he would most likely have other large playmates and drove our socially anxious dog to the quiet areas of town for walks. This took a lot more time than our normal routine, but it kept our dogs safe and happy. A lasting benefit for us is that our younger dog, once a terror in the car, now rides much more calmly and our anxious dog, once fearful of what the car ride would bring, now happily hops in. Our cat was so content and well-groomed upon my return, it was obvious that she had been getting lots of daily attention, too. Veronica communicated with us on all the happenings with our pets and property every day. I came home to happy and healthy pets and a well cared for home. We feel so fortunate to have had Veronica as a house sitter and look forward to her sitting for us again.

Amanda and her team really go above and beyond. We have three dogs and like most dogs, they each have their quirks. Everyone over communicates with us, they are all so great in our home and with our dogs. Aly is incredible as well. She was concerned that our vacuum was scratching the floor so she brought up new heads for our Dyson. They bring snacks if they think their stomachs hurt, they bring toys, I cannot say enough about the great experiences we have. Going out of town when we can’t bring our dogs is always stressful and I worry but they have really put me at ease.
Amanda is absolutely wonderful with dogs. I’ve had dogs as long as I can remember and it is obvious that Amanda knows dog behavior very well. One of my dogs is very high anxiety and aggressive and absolutely does not want to make friends with anyone. She took her time with him and literally had him eating out of her hand and doing tricks for her. I never thought I would find someone willing to work with him but she absolutely mastered my “advanced” dog. My other dog is elderly and needs medication and she has no problem taking care of him as well. She goes out of her way to make sure my pets are taken care of. I let her do her own thing as far as working with my dogs because she obviously knows dogs and knows what she is doing. She communicates with me and sends pictures every time she visits and booking dates and paying for services through her online portal is super convenient. So happy I found her! Cannot recommend her enough!
I cannot say enough about Amanda and her crew. My situation was unique because I called upon them to pet sit my father's dogs while he was in the hospital for months and all family was out of state. The love and kindness they showed to my father's dogs as well as the family during this difficult time went above and beyond. They stayed on top of the dog's care while also attending to needs around his house since we all were out of state. They all were an absolute blessing. When we realized my father would never be coming home they even helped us find a rescue organization for his dogs which was very emotional for all involved but their kindness will never be forgotten in my family. Thank you Amanda..Jen..and Amy for all you have done...God definitely put you all of you in our path❤️
I have known Amanda for years and once she started her Pet Services there was no question that I would prefer her taking care of our fur kids. She loves her job and the fur kids she cares for and goes above and beyond when she visits. I have referred several friends to her. When we are out of town she stays in touch with photos of our critters and I have so many photos that I cherish. If you need a pet sitter or a great pet photographer - call on Amanda!
I have 5 dogs, including a rescue with some issues for whom a second set of experienced "eyes" can be a tremendous help. Amanda has invaluable experience having worked in a vet's office, at various levels, and that was the most important factor in me choosing her above others I considered. Her ability to notice things I miss is very important, as well as her ability to connect quickly, and deeply, with all my dogs. I have a fearful one, who can be intimidating - Amanda had won him over in 30 minutes. Plus, she is an excellent photographer, something I consider a great sideperk. As long as I have dogs - forever - she will come by twice a week! Check out her website and Facebook to see some pics!
We have been using Premier Pet Sitting for a year and absolutely love it. We have a labradoodle, Gus, who is very energetic. He loves being there with Amanda and her dogs. Sometimes I am afraid he won’t want to come home. You can tell how much they really care about your pet.
Premier Pet Sitting considers all their clients “family”. The level of genuine care, concern and love they show on a daily basis is beyond exceptional. Whether it is a daily visit or in-house overnight care, they always go way above and beyond to make sure you know your pets are being lovingly cared for as if they were their own. It is hard to put into words how much I love this company-but having Premier Pet Sitting in our lives and taking care of our pet everyday is the greatest blessing!
I highly recommend Amanda and her team. She takes care of our pup just like he is her own. I have no worries when we aren’t home and he stays with her when we are out of town. We love Amanda.
Very very upset and disappointed...expected a visit from Amanda tomorrow. Had I not gotten a hold of her today, she would have just left me hanging. Right up front she was told I have a high strung hound. I left her commands he knows from training and treays to reward. Never used them and let him roam. He needs the discipline and is worse off now for her not using them. Good luck. The high reviews may be misleading
Cannot say enough amazing things about this pet sitting company! I have been working in veterinary medicine since 2001 so needless to say I am VERY particular about who watches my fur babies. These guys not only send you pictures at every visit, they do a little write up about how everyone is doing. Highly recommend Premier Pet Services!!!
Jenny and Drew are AWESOME!! Whole staff is absolutely amazing!!! Destination Pet is the go to pet vet, grooming, and boarding establishment. Being able to trust others with your beloved pets, is such a blessing. My dogs always are sad to leave their new friends that they have made. Thank you for being available and loving for every pet that comes into your establishment. Buddy and Lady say see you next time!!!!
If I could give Destination Pet of Woodstock more than 5 ⭐️’s.. I would! This was my first time boarding my German Shepherd and was a little nervous about doing so. About a week before boarding her, I brought her in for a “meet & greet” early in the morning and picked her just after lunch to get her comfortable with the surroundings before my wife and I went on vacation. She did great and after meeting & talking with the staff, I felt completely comfortable about leaving her with them for 12 days. When I got back in town and went to pick her up, most of the staff came up and was raving about her and how great she was and how much they love her and were expressing how sad they were to see her go. The staff made me feel so much better about boarding my girl. I received a “report card” about halfway through my vacation with pictures. I could tell that she was well taken care of and was loved while we were out of the country and that made me feel so much more at ease. The staff are excellent, the building was clean and I will definitely be bringing my girl back for future boarding. Thank you Destination Pet of Woodstock for taking great care of my girl!
We’ve been going to Destination Pet of Woodstock for Training, Vet, Boarding, Daycare, and grooming for 3 years. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The staff truly cares for each animal like they are their own and welcomes you in like family. We tried 3 other daycare facilities around Woodstock before my little girl fell in love with these folks on day 1. They even throw her a “Gotcha Day” party every year complete with dog friendly snacks. Super responsive, very accommodating to difficult schedules, competitive pricing and true love for animals make Destination Pet of Woodstock the overall best choice for my fur baby.
Memphis has been coming here since he was a baby and LOVES Destination Pet ! He is always trying to run to the door to get in and the staff take great care of him ~ I'm always the over anxious and worried one but he gets lots of love and attention here. Vet, boarding, day care and grooming service has always been great as well ~
If my dog has smile, she definitely has one there. The staff LOVE her. When we are near Destination Pet, she gets genuinely excited. Even when we aren't going there. I would like to thank Andie, Amy, and all the staff. When I say to her, "lets go see your friends", it's not just her pack buddies but all of the humans there too.
Took my cat here first the first time, which always has me on edge a little. You never know the vibe of a place until you get there. Everyone was super sweet, helpful and answered all 13,000 questions that I had. Britt made me and my cat feel right at home. I'm boarding my cat here soon also and now that I've seen the place and met the staff, I can enjoy my vacation without stressing.
Destination Pet of Woodstock is truly setting the gold standard in pet care! It all starts with Amy & Andie, who lead with passion and commitment every single day. I've been bringing my European Great Dane, Jury, here since she was just a pup, 3.5 years ago, and let me tell you – this place has never been better! The moment Jury hops out of the car, she trots straight to the door, eager to start her day. It’s both hilarious and heartwarming to watch her excitement. The love, attention, and care she's received from the amazing staff have truly shaped her into the wonderful dog she is today. Every team member is a rockstar. From Ginny, Dawson, Ashley, Hunter, Kendall, to Drew – you all make every visit special, and your smiles never go unnoticed. If I missed anyone, you're rocking it too! You guys are the best!
It's been almost 2 years that our pup has been coming here twice a week. I still can't recommend them more! Our dog comes here multiple days a week and LOVES it! And since it is also a veterinary office, they take great care of him and I know I can trust them to keep him safe. They even have fun activities you can add on, like the St Patty's Day party :) You can trust Destination Pet for veterinary services, boarding, or daycare! We've had a great experience with all of those!
TL;DR- Destination Pet is now our new provider for boarding & veterinary services! After relocating to Georgia we tried a different boarding center and tried our local vet. Unfortunately we left disappointed with both as they lacked the personal attention our dogs deserve as new to their businesses. I found Destination Pet online and it had great reviews and so I thought I’d give them a shot even though we have to drive around 20 minutes to their Woodstock location. Thank goodness we found them! While boarding our two dogs they got a checkup from the vet who was so personable and caring when calling to explain one dog’s treatment plan for an ear infection and go over our options. The staff did great with the pups report cards so we always knew how their day was going away from home. From booking to check out everything was great! We quickly booked a future stay and look forward to Destination Pet being our dogs home away from home and Dr. Dwight taking care of them for all of their vet appointments!
Absolutely five stars!! They took care of my kitties during an extended move and were so accommodating with me having to extend their boarding multiple times. I also got updates on my kitties and know they were in great hands while I was away! Andy and Amy went above and beyond with their customer service support and were so helpful during a stressful time. Great staff, great facility, highly recommended!!
We were in a pinch for Thanksgiving because our regular boarding location was booked, so we called their sister company PetSuites Woodstock and they were able to accommodate us! The stay was 5 days. The staff were amazing. My only disappointment was the quality of the video camera was terrible the first 2 days, and then the camera stopped functioning altogether! I knew with the holiday they wouldn’t have it fixed.I definitely would absolutely use them again for sure because they took good care of baby Boomer.
Our fur babies absolutely love PetSuites. They love to go and play with all their pup friends. The staff is so friendly and patient with me. I ask a lot of questions. If our dogs are needing something, they are very quick to text when we are out of town to let us know what is going on. Communication is amazing, the facility is so clean and the groomer is absolutely wonderful! She does an amazing job grooming our golden doodles. 10/10 you or your fur babies won’t be disappointed. I found they’re reasonably priced for everything. Your fur baby will play until they drop. I love the feature where we can log in and watch them play. Our babies love the luxury suite as do we. We can check in on them anytime day or night. It makes traveling so much easier for us knowing they are safe and well loved! You also receive updated pictures of your fur baby on the app. Thank you, Townlake PetSuites for loving our fur babies ❤️
Our dog has been going to PetSuites since February 2024. She goes multiple times a week and loves it. The staff is friendly. Management has always been helpful. We’ve left Nova in boarding for 10 days in a luxury room as well and she loved it. She makes a lot of friends and the staff is always excited to see her.
Our dog is our family and I love how Pet Suites treats her that way too! She is a very perceptive and emotional dog, and she lets us know whether she loves a place or hates it - she is always so happy and excited to go to Pet Suites!
Our pups have been with PetSuites since they first opened here in Woodstock. We were so excited to finally have a doggie daycare that has such a big indoor and outdoor area for our pups to run around and play in. The staff is amazing and they communicate very well. You always feel in the loop with what’s going on, and they have so many fun activities for our pups to do each month! Also, we just tried their grooming services, and we will be fully switching to using PetSuites. My pup looked amazing and it was extremely well priced. Couldn’t recommend this location more!
We boarded our pup, Loki, for almost two weeks for our wedding and honeymoon. Loki doesn’t get along with other animals and jumps our very large privacy fence - needless to say we were at a loss on what we could do with him while we were gone. I toured PetSuites and they were so patient with all of my questions and it ended up being a perfect fit for Loki. It sounds like Loki did great and I loved that they sent photos and texted with options to give him extra special treats throughout his stay. We will definitely be back for the next time Loki needs to be boarded - very meaningful from a reactive dog mom!
Lola spent Thanksgiving with her many friends, human and dog. They take such good care of her. The welcoming employees upon entering till the time we leave are always friendly. Having worked in the veterinary side for 30 + years and known my share of boarding pets, PetSuites Woodstock does a tremendous job. It’s always nice to check the web cams and see your pet having fun and getting some well loved hugs. Thank you for all you do.
PetSuites is the BEST! They are reasonably priced and tons of pricing plans available. Our pup loves the staff and his pet friends! I also love the all the activities that are available! Ace’s favorite is the lure course enrichment. We also use them for grooming and have not been disappointed!
We love Pet Suites Woodstock. The staff is friendly and efficient. We love watching Orzo play with her friends in daycare. She literally jumps out of the car and never looks back when we arrive. We highly recommend this new facility in our town of Woodstock. Added perk, she sleeps like a baby at night on daycare days.
I've been taking my fur baby to PetSuites Woodstock since it opened. They are so very flexible and accomodating, especially when it comes to my pup's medication and snack schedule to control her reflux. I love that the staff knows her by name and how comfortable Gracie is when I drop her off. She always has such a good time and comes home exhausted form all the fun activities and play. I highly recommend PetSuites Woodstock!
I don't know where to even begin to describe how fantastic John is! We were gone for 2 weeks and he came to check on and take care our dog, cat,and bearded dragon 3 times a day. He sent a detailed report after each visit along with pictures to let us know everything they did while he was there. It's so comforting to know your pets are being cared for so well. We could see our dog doing what he loves best during the day, hanging out with someone outside and getting attention. Even our aloof cat warmed up to John and came out for ear scratches. He did a great job capturing photos of our bearded dragon and taking good care of her while we were away. The communication is excellent. His love and care for our pets was genuine. He came exactly when he said he would and stayed the entire length of the visit. He's very trustworthy and made one of the hardest parts of being away go well because we weren't worried about our babies. I highly recommend him if you're looking for the best pet sitter there is.
We had a wonderful training experience with John at Peanut's Pet Care. I was very unsure walking my dog in my neighborhood and around other dogs. John was so knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating. He let me pick the training locations and worked with my schedule. He explained every part of the training in detail and worked with me until I was skilled and confident. He thinks outside the box and genuinely wants you and your pet to succeed. He even helped picked out the proper equipment for my dog. I highly recommend him for any issues you might be concerned with - big or small.
My mom recently adopted an older doggie that is not used to walking on a leash and is nervous in general. She pulls like a sled dog, but puts on the brakes to come inside the house. This is truly her first home and she is learning her new environment. John came to the house and immediately focused all of his attention on her gaining trust with treats. We all went outside together for a walk so he could see first hand the challenges with walking and returning indoors. He studied her every move and promptly gave my mom suggestions on different harness and leash systems. He had the harness he was recommending with him, put it on her new friend, and showed her what a difference it would make. He showed my mom proper fit and explained where to hook the leash etc… Getting her to come in the house was a little more challenging but John was so calm, patient, and tried a variety of things (and snacks) before he found “the sweet spot” John came to the house prepared with his bag of gadgets, and he found the right combination to entice her back in. His approach was gentle, he never pulled on her, and gained her trust. It is so clear that he loves animals and wants to help. He spoke to my mom at length, was honest, and set her up for success. A good dog trainer teaches the owner correct technique and instills confidence, and that’s exactly what John did!! My mom and her new furry friend are more bonded every day, and thanks to John and his expertise advice they have made great progress together. We give Peanut’s Pet Care 10 stars!
I'm amazed at what a difference ONE lesson made with John! I highly recommend his dog training. Prior to walking our 60 lb "puppy" was not a very pleasant experience. After our first lesson and a few changes at John's suggestion, we just had our first "real" walk in 2 months. I look forward to more training so we're able to enjoy more time with Oakley!
If you need to be trained to train your dog, you would be in great hands with Peanut's Pet Care. I've only had two sessions with John so far, and already I feel more confident training my dog. John explained and demonstrated to me exactly where I've gone wrong in the past, he explained my dog's behavior to me, and he showed me the best tricks and tips to help me (and my dog). He comes to you or he arranges the perfect place to address your dog's needs, and he tirelessly educates and trains you and your dog. If you're undecided about hiring this company, don't be: your dog depends on your good choices, and this is one of the most important good choice to make.
John is the real deal. Didn't even flinch when our anxiety-in-overdrive, reactive, barking 200-lb. Mastiff decided to guard our living room. John has this incredible calm about him that dogs seem to pick up on. We did an deep-dive background review and John provided us with a thoughtful, in-depth report/plan we're excited to get started on. Also had some incredible insights. He taught us to read some of the more subtle signals and "tells" our wrinkly monster exhibited. John is extremely knowledgeable about animal behavior, and I love that he loves animals so much. We are looking forward to working with him!!!
I was very impressed with the professionalism and the extremely thorough work Peanuts Pet Care provides. Our family has learned so much about how to better the life of our little Fido!
We are having an outstanding experience with John with Peanuts pet care From th first session f dog training . I knew I made the right choice. John is not just a trainer but a true dog whisperer. His approach is personalized, understanding each dog's unique needs and personality traits. My dog, who used to struggle with basic commands, showed remarkable progress in one session. He gives you the knowledge to implement the guidlines to your dog to give them a true understanding of what you are seeking for them to do or act. The training sessions were well-structured, engaging, and filled with positive reinforcement techniques that helped our dog learn in an effective way. What impressed me the most is John's confidence and knowledge and how quickly our dog responded to his techinques and ways to train animals. Thanks to John giving us the tools for success. Our dog has become more obedient, sociable, and happy. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a professional and caring dog trainer.
John is amazing! Before enlisting his help, I dreaded having to walk my dog as he constantly pulled. After a couple of sessions with John’s help, it’s actually become enjoyable to take my dog on walks, not to mention the knowledge and help he has provided in getting my dog to be less reactive to other animals. I would highly recommend peanuts pet care for your training needs.
I LOVE Peanut's Pet Care! More importantly, my dog and cats love John Hay, the man behind Peanut's Pet Care! We have two 18 year old cats who are very comfortable with John, especially our diabetic cat. John has to administer insulin shots to our cat every twelve hours while we're gone and our cat loves John so much that he follows him around, before AND after his shot! Amazing photos are always provided of our pets each day. John also takes excellent care of our dog - taking him for walks, feeding him, making him feel cared for! If you need great, reliable, trustworthy pet care while you are away - I highly recommend Peanut's Pet Care.
We have been boarding our dogs here for almost 3 years. The staff has a great system down and everyone is friendly and caring. Shout out Canady! She always makes us feel loved and welcomed. Lindy is also wonderful! The vaccination requirements and safety protocols make me feel so safe leaving them there!
This place and all the staff are a gem! I am an anxious young woman and was worried to board my dog. After Ellie’s (my shy cockapoo) first initial trail day i was so happy to hear she had a wonderful time! Multiple staff members reported that Ellie had a blast during doggy group time. For the holidays she is having to stay longer due to family travel. I signed up for the puppy postcards and it makes me so happy to know and see shes having fun! One of five pictures added here. Some of the staff even sent selfies playing with her! Upon her return just a few days later she was wagging her tail excited to go be social with her puppy pals! Overall the prices are wonderful. I love the extra services provided as well! Exit bath had Ellie smelling like a fruit cup haha. Cant recommend this place more!
My baby is always happy to go to daycare, I have never had a single problem, all the employees are very sweet and take great care of my pup, I trust them to take care of him both for daycare and boarding, they have fun and cute dynamics, we’ve been customers for almost two years, I’m so glad I found them because I really don’t trust anyone to take care of my baby.
Excellent services pet & customer service. Took my dog in for the first time being in GA and I’m already planning my next visit. They took care of him so well. His full groom came out AMAZING!! And they even allowed for him to do a meet and greet at the daycare part free of charge. They are absolutely awesome and I am definitely coming back!!! Also, they have great communication with the pet owners. Pet groomer called me to be sure of the cut I wanted for Rocco. And it was better than what I could’ve imagined.
I’ve taking my oldest dog to APR for 5 years and can’t say enough about the company. The friendliness of the staff, their attention to detail and the cleanliness of the facility are the reasons I remain a loyal customer. I want to give special recognition to Canady who goes above and beyond to call of duty for me and my dogs. She is the epitome of someone who understands what great customer service entails.
I only went to this place because everywhere else was booked up for weeks but after my first visit I won't be going back. The place was 45 minutes from my house and when I arrived I was told I needed paperwork for proof of my cats vaccinations. This is something they could've said in the confirmation email or on the website where you book. I had to drive 45 min home and back again to get the paperwork. Not only did I have to drive for 2 and a half hours but I pick up my cat and it doesn't even look like he was groomed. He smelled good and his nails were clipped good that's why I gave the 2 stars but I can tell he wasn't brushed because I pet him in the car and my hand was covered in fur. So I brushed him myself when I got home and so much excess fur came off with only 4-5 strokes. And they didn't even dry him before putting him back in his carrier. It looks like they got him wet sprayed perfume on him and cut his nails for $75.
Today, I brought my dog, Gus to Atlanta Pet Resort for half day “dog dayplay”. After 5 hours I went to pick up my Gus, I asked the lady at the front desk how Gus’s day was- she nonchalantly answered, “he mostly slept today since the dogs were separated due to a Bordatella outbreak”. Alarmed, I frantically asked how they managed to keep all the dogs for playdate separated and she brought me to the back and to my horror led me down a dark hallway (see pictures) my dog isolated in a kennel. My dog, Gus, is my child, I have had him since he was 8 weeks old. I don’t even own a kennel- as there is no need. Gus is 3 years old and well behaved. I work from home and bring Gus to dayplay for socialization and stimulation, as I am aware he can grow weary of just my company after a few days. Dismayed, I asked if he had been in the kennel all day. She responded, ’“we took him out by himself once!” Maternal instincts trickled down my spine, as I bolted out of there. All they had to do was tell me, “no day play today” or “we can board your dog and he will be kept by himself today, would you still like that service.” Furthermore, I was never told about the current Bordatella outbreak. Gus is vaccinated, but nonetheless, I have a right to know of any active infectious diseases running rampant at a facility I am entrusting my dog’s care to. Unfortunately, they did not divulge any of this and I blindly dropped my dog off thinking he was going to have a fun afternoon. My dog, along with everyone else’s dog that was there today was mistreated; they had no access to water in their kennels and the staff admittedly only took my dog out one time in 5 hours. Disappointed is an understatement, I thought my dog was playing with other dogs, socializing, having fun. It pains me to think about what else they have done without me knowing and at the expense of my dog. Not surprisingly, without my consent they charged my card $22, for my dog to stare at a wall for 5 hours. Sounds like they are hurting for cash and choosing to exploit peoples beloved dogs to make ends meet. Not the type of place I want caring for my furbaby or your furbaby. Please do NOT send your pet here, if they won’t show you the back dog play area—- there is a reason. Sad 😔
Horrible Horrible experience. Will NEVER use them again. We were quoted a price, then when I dropped off my dog I was told no it will be an additional $5 a night because she they didn't have the chance to "evaluate" her. Ok, no big deal...but then got the invoice and we were charge an extra $10 a day.....then I was told when I called, pack up any of her favorite toys, bones, blankets etc but when I dropped Stella off I was told no she can't have the bones or toys I left but she would be given her favorite blanket, yet the blanket was still in the bag and not with her. I was also told to portion out her prescription dog food. I provided 7 individual bags (1 per day) as Stella is a grazer...I bag lasts her all day at home. But 3 days into her being there I get a message that she only had 2 bags left could they fees house food...ABSOLUTELY NOT, she has bad allergies and giving anything but the food provided would be really bad. But when I picked her up I was told she was out of food (1 gave very detailed instructions of how and what she should be fed, which we ignored by 4 different people). All in all Horrible experience and as stated I will NEVER USE THIS PLACE AGAIN! If you love your pet and want them cared for, use a different boarding place!
UPDATE***************I LEFT THE REVIEW BEFORE THE INVOICE VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! So my son picked up my babies on 6/29. They charged my card on file for the services. I was expecting to pay what I've been paying less the discount for nail trimming . My total bill was RIDICULOUS!!!!! I left a message addressing my concerns. I received a call back, but missed the call. However, someone left a message stating someone would call. I waited until after the 4th of July no call. I called back left another message addressing my concerns. Still no call back. I also use this location for boarding with no complaints, but this lack of communication is very unprofessional. So now I have to take my business elsewhere. you don't treat your consumers this way. I've also heard other customers complaints about this particular groomer with prices. I would never bring them back for grooming services, but now I'm concerned with boarding, and daycare. I must note my babies weren't at their worst . Let just say I had different prices each visit and I never said a word, but the MARKUP is unacceptable. I MUST speak up. I will dispute the charges. I’ve been bringing my fur babies to Atlanta Pet Resort for boarding and grooming services for sometime now. I must say the staff is very friendly and understanding of your pet needs . My visit for today was grooming for my boys Coach and Kobe. I have to say each time they look great. However this time they looked like “show” dogs. My Aussiedoodle is a bit to handle. I truly appreciate the time and patience the the groomer and staff have with him. This is the BEST job by far . Thank you so much!
My dog (and I) are huge fans of Atlanta Pet Resorts! We are there most days for daycare, where they will play fetch with her for hours. She's super high energy and she has a great time running around all day. We also use APR for boarding and I never have to worry about her care. Quinn and the team take great care of my pup, I can't recommend them enough.
Pawsitive Doggie Daycare is paws down the very best doggie sitter for all of my furry kids! Nancy is so dedicated to the care and love for all her clients and their furry kids, it's such a piece of mind knowing what amazing care is and will be given each and every time I drop off my dog!
We have been taking our 4 year old lab mix to Nance since she was a puppy. Nance has extensive experience with animals and truly loves them. We drop our dog off at her house, and she cares for her while we're out of town. Our dog is anxious when left alone, so this is a perfect solution for us. Nance is an invaluable resource for us. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for premium care for their pet.
My Yorkie absolutely loves her and so do I . Nancy is a true dog lover and I am blessed to have found her!
When it comes to dog boarding and daycare they are the absolute best. My Razz loves going to camp. And they are a one stop shop. They offer grooming, playtime and other options. They’re also relatively affordable.
The staff is untrained and unable to handle dogs properly. They frequently spray the dogs with an unknown fluid for no apparent reason. Additionally, the staff does not engage with the dogs, which is something I expect from a daycare. Whenever I pick up my dogs, they have a strong chemical odor. This place might be suitable for urgent daycare or boarding situations, but it is definitely not a long-term solution.
My Corgi boy has a great time at Camp Bow Wow, and this location is very convenient and is always clean, with the cameras on (I had a bad experience at another place that was not being transparent). It is fun to watch your pup enjoying themselves through the cameras. I usually bring him for Sunday Funday, and I do really appreciate that there are half days and full day options. I just had him boarded too, so I am very happy to know he is having fun playing all day in daycare and not being locked up or unsupervised. The staff is always friendly and remembers your fur baby. Picking up my boy after a fresh bath after vacation is a great time, and having a happy and tired pup is a wonderful thing indeed. I also love some of the special picture days they offer.
I love the security and the cams allowing me to see Jessi while being boarded. I love that she can have her own bed and blanket from home . The drop off and pick up times are great. Very professional staff.
Love this place and so does my fur baby. Dropping her off for day care, the staff is friendly and courteous. Location is near the house. Check-in / check-out is quick and easy.
Camp bow wow is always easy to drop off and pick up. Love the web cameras too. Our puppy always comes home tired!
This business is convenient when needing to drop your pup off at the last minute. Appointments are not required. My husband and I have used Camp Bow Wow multiple times. A few times, our pup had developed a kennel cough after spending time at CBW. We thought maybe "it was a fluke." Our pup was recently at CBW, and now our pup has a bad case of kennel cough. By far, the worst case she's had. CBW requires vaccine paperwork before your dog can stay. Our dog is fully vaccinated, but somehow, she is always sick after spending time here. I do know kennel cough can occur when multiple dogs are put together. A lot of times, our pup has been roomed with several dogs at a time. She has NEVER gotten a kennel cough anywhere else except when she spends time here. My husband and I will not be using CBW anymore. It's too risky. I hope the owner will investigate what is causing sicknesses and perhaps be stricter in vaccine requirements and dogs. Also, please do not make excuses for our dog getting sick or "facts," etc. I am telling the truth. I am in no way trying to come off as mean, but other fur baby parents need to be aware of the risks.
We’ve been going to CBW for almost 3 years and still love coming here! They are so accommodating and really care for my fur baby as if it were their own! Kelly, the owner is fantastic - she’s very alert, tentative to all our needs, loves in all the dogs equally and truly has a passion for providing excellent customer service to the hoomans and doggos! We love CBW of Woodstock!
Top quality day care & boarding. The staff clearly love their jobs & take the time to get to know each dog individually. Appreciate the reasonably priced professional grooming services on site.
Kind of disappointing, I dropped my dogs off here for the first time. Staff was very friendly and the place was clean. When my sister picked my dog up, he was very choppy and looks like he is half finished. They didnt even clean out his ears. Very disappointed. Got a call from the owner and was asked to bring my dog back to fix his groom. The owner and the groomer was super apologetic, refunded me the groom, and offered me a free groom for the next visit.
I highly recommend this place for dog training, doggy daycare, and over oven stays. Ray is absolutely amazing. With her help we were able to train our dog to be the best version of himself. She helped us understand how to work with our dog and how to help him understand us. We would have been lost without her! The entire Happy Trails staff is professional and so knowledgeable. My boy absolutely loves going to doggy daycare here and I feel comfortable while he is under their care. Thank you Ray and the rest of the staff at Happy Trails! I could not recommend this place enough!
On the day of November 23, I picked Hannah up from daycare around 4:10 PM. She seemed fine, but the guy at the front desk told me she did not get a bathe! I was slightly confused and irritated because I was expecting her to be clean. I asked him why he didn’t call me and he sarcastically said, “why would we call you for that?” And then he told the lady I was upset when all I was doing was asking questions as to why she was not clean! I guess that was him trying to make me seem like the angry black woman in that moment! The gag is, if I was angry… I would’ve said that and it would have been known by my actions! Either way, they claimed she didn’t want to take a bath, but that has never happened before! She has had at least five baths and has done fine every time. That’s not what I’m tripping about. She has had three bouts of diarrhea since she got home! The diarrhea that squirts out like water! At 10:30 PM, 11:30 PM last night and 6:30 AM which is why I’m making this at 6:54 AM! I’m not sure what happened or what they fed her, but I will get to the bottom of it! I don’t appreciate it one bit And I don’t appreciate his sarcasm either! This is not cool and she will not be coming back! They didn’t even seem concerned and I’m sure they talked about me when I left yesterday! I don’t care anything about that though, my concern is my fur baby! And then she tried to use what I told her in confidence against me by saying that I’ve been going through things and her not wanting to take a bath may have to do with that! I GAVE UP my apartment October 21 and we have been just fine ever since in a hotel living life as normal, so why would you try to throw that back in my face? That’s something that a narcissist would do! Either way, I don’t appreciate it and like I said she will not be going back!
Happy trails was a life save! Rachel was very knowledgeable & very transparent about how they run things. My pup passed all the tests and now has play dates that he looks forward too. He runs to door with his leash if I even say play date now 😆. Thank goodness for this place!😊 …
My pup and I love Happy Trails! We use them for boarding several times per year, grooming every few months and have always had a good experience. They know my dog’s name and seem to really care about all of the animals that they care for. I have never had any doubt in the care that they provide. We are so blessed to have a place to care for my boy that enables me to not have to worry about him when I’m gone.
Absolutely love this place! the owners, Rachel and Ray are incredibly knowledgeable and really put a lot of effort into making sure my pups have the best time possible here! I highly recommend bringing your dogs here, you can trust that they will be well taken care of and have a great time.
They have been a wonderful place for my 3 dogs to get socialized and play with other pups. Ranging in age from 1 year to 9, they have been accommodating to their every need. We also choose to board with them and they always go the extra mile to ensure they are eating well and comfortable through personalized care. They even added cooked turkey to their food to encourage their appetite and give them breaks from play when needed. Highly recommend.
Could not recommend this place enough! My family is no stranger to happy trails, in 2018 my mother started bringing our family dog, Chloe, here and she enjoyed and loved daycare until she reached her last senior years and ultimately passed away. Shortly after I started bring my own dog to day care and boarding services, Murphie, and she loves happy trails so much she gets excited as soon as we turn onto the road! Today I dropped off my new puppy, tater tot, to his first day of day care and I can already tell by watching the cameras (the cameras are amazing to watch them play btw!) he is loving it! The employees here are so compassionate about animals and as a ER vet tech I am extra careful with whom I leave my babies with. I have no worries leaving my fur-babies here!!
Took my dog there for an evaluation and playday. During the introduction/tour owner showed a long flexible pole with loose strips on end of it and said they will carry it and use by swinging it in front of them to keep the dogs from rushing the gates and to keep them in line if necessary; may touch dog on hind with it to get them to move or listen. Also said they may use a spray bottle with vinegar and something else in it or hose to squirt dogs to stop an interaction. Watched the cameras ALL the time and saw some disturbing things. One dog was literally kicked/pushed with a worker's foot on the hind end to get it up and moving out of the kennel. Another dog was struck what appeared to be hard on the hind end with that pole end; appearing as if he went the wrong way. The pole was swung very quickly in front of a worker to move dogs back like she said it would be; some of them cowered at it…have seen that reaction prior in dogs that have been struck. Too many dogs in play areas at same time for my liking. AND all they seemed to do was meander about and follow the worker around the yard; once in a great while the worker would pet a dog and then push others away that also wanted petting/attention. Pretty sad. Owner talks a good line about dog psychology and treatment when you inquire. These are observations by an owner, and if it had been my dog that had the interactions above with staff, I would have been there immediately. And by the way, you have no idea what my background/knowledge/training is… You are right, you don’t send dogs home injured or needing vet care due to problems or interactions with other dogs. You keep the dogs safe. Your tactics are just not agreeable with me.
The best place for my doggo! The team there has always been friendly, professional, answers all my questions (even some weird ones), and does a phenomenal job of taking good care of my elderly dog. - Paws down, the best!
Love this place. My puppy Beau loves it too. His first day at Happy Trails left him totally exhausted and this was a very good thing! He made new friends both human and non human. And the pictures show how tired he was. He actually ate his food lying down.
