If I could give 10 stars I would!! This was my first time using grooming service at Bay Paws… not only did they give my dog the exact cut I was looking for, but they also handled her with extreme kindness and care as it was her first time at the groomers. You will get both quality and a team that cares for your pet here! See the before and after below :D

Bay Paws was a huge find for us in the Tampa area while watching the Bucs play. From pulling into parking lot ( clean, well kept) to the front office staff, everything pointed to we made the right choice. They kept in constant contact with us and the web cams of his room and the play areas put our minds at ease. This will be our go to place when in Tampa. Thank you all!!!

The Bay Paws staff was friendly and helpful from start to finish. Super easy to schedule services and gladly answered any questions I had. Picked Mabel up and she was extremely happy, and they even sent photos throughout the day to check in. Will be my go-to spot for day care/boarding!

I was on vacation so my German Shepard was boarded up and did doggy daycare for an entire week! The staff was very responsible with my dog and took very good care of her! My dog was so happy to be there the entire time! Thank you Bay Paws staff for making Bert so happy! She will miss you so much!

I’ve been taking my dog Jac to Bay Paws for 2 years. The level of FUN he has at this place is impressive. He can’t wait to get inside and play when I drop him off. The staff is amazing and I feel like they really like to hang out with animals all day, which makes it a lot easier for me to drop my dog off for his doggy daycare visits a few days a week. In addition to doggy daycare, I’ve also used their boarding service and like that they have cameras, so you can checkup on your pet. The facility is always clean and I appreciate that they have policies in place to ensure that all pets have to have current vaccinations. I’ve never boarded a dog before and was nervous the whole time but they were understanding and explained everything perfectly, they have webcams and you can watch them when they’re put up they are very inexpensive too and my pups got to swim for the first time. Was honestly jealous how much they loved it there and they offer other things for very little extra they’ll bathe and groom the little fur babies. Overall great experience will be bringing them back again.

My husky stayed at Bay Paws Ybor for a week while I was traveling. They let me bring her crate, blanket and toys so she felt more comfortable. I was able to use their app and watch her through the camera in her suite. The personnel took care to arrange her blankets and walked her five times a day plus one on one play time. She got excellent care and I felt she was in the best place possible. I researched all the pet resorts in the Tampa Bay area and this one offered the most features and the staff really seem to love dogs. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

We were coming to Florida over Thanksgiving weekend and our regular boarding facility was booked up as were all local facilities. My daughter recommended Bay Paws so we called at the last-minute and they were able to take her. We did everything last-minute and they were most helpful. When we picked her up she seemed really happy to see us but a little reluctant to leave. They said she was very very good in daycare too. We will definitely use them again. The staff was fabulous.

We had a wonderful first experience with the staff at Bay Paws Pet Resort. We appreciated the excellent communication and professionalism while addressing a situation involving our dog. The facility is immaculate and their procedures and protocols are above any other we’ve experienced.

One of the worst boarding experiences I have ever experienced. After have to give my dog a toxic shot to meet their requirements I was forced to cancel my trip after a phone call stating they were closing the facility due to a storm. After racing across the country to retrieve my pet and incurring financial burden from who I entrusted them with, I walk into the facility to witness them checking in pets during the storm. Why wasn’t my dog allowed to stay. They also tried to give me my dog back completely wet and soaked. Must be greed or favors but definitely unacceptable and unprofessionalism and a breach of trust. Also my dog pooped out a 18” piece of rope from this facility, see pic. Do not trust these people.

Lauri was absolutely amazing! She watched our Holland Lop bunny for a week while we went on vacation for Christmas/New Years. She is very flexible with drop off and pick up times and made everything very easy. She would send updates and pictures throughout the day which I loved! We will definitely have Lauri watch our bunny again the next time time we need a pet sitter. Thank you so much Lauri!

I left my pet bunny with Lauri during thanksgiving for a couple of days because my usual pet sitters were not available. Not sure what happened but i’m not so sure Lauri took good care of him. When we picked him up, he smelled so badly of urine. It’s visible that he didn’t use his litter box. Lauri did not let us know any of this (not even sure if she noticed). After picking my bunny up, he was a little down and wasn’t as active but he still ate a little. The day after that, my bunny became very lethargic and didn’t eat at all so we took him to the vet today. Unfortunately he had SEVERE gas in his intestines and passed away within a couple of hours at the vet. I don’t know what caused the gas but from the X-rays it was visible there was no food in his system so i’m not sure if he was eating properly while lauri was watching him (she didn’t tell me anything). My rabbit was completely 100% fine before dropping him off with lauri and now he’s gone. Idk what she did and I don’t want to point fingers but it seems a little too coincidental. Especially the fact that he smelled really badly of urine after picking him up which has never happened before. It’s as if he was rolling around in his own pee. I tried calling her to get answers but she has not been picking up. I would not recommend anyone to trust Lauri to watch your pet. After watching mine, he passed away.

Lauri took great care of my babies. I have an Umbrella Cockatoo that demands attention and an Old English Sheepdog/German Shepard mix that is an escape artist. We will be back for sure! Thank you so much Lauri ❤️

My mom and I left my childhood dog, Pompeii, who is now 18-years-old with Lauri while we went out of town. Since she is a senior dog we worry about leaving her at a standard kennel as it can be overwhelming for an older, smaller dog. After seeing fabulous reviews about Lauri online we set up an introductory meet-up and booked a sleepover stay. Lauri makes sure to keep all of the animals separated, which is very appreciated. Lauri let Pompeii have the entire entryway room for her overnight visit, and she also sent us adorable update pictures (without us even asking). You can tell Lauri truly loves and cares about the dogs that she watches. We would definitely recommend Lauri's Pet Sitting Services to anyone who wants a friendly and comfortable space for their pets to enjoy their time away. Laurie is an absolute Gem. She cared for Felix like he was her own. She agreed to watch him even though I did not have a pre arranged time scheduled. Her cuty yorkie accepted Felix as part of the pack immediately. I highly recommend her services to those who only want the best care for their doggies👍🏾 I will definitely use her services again. Our little Frenchie Stu loves going to Lauri's! He gets to play with the other dogs all day, and Lauri throws the ball for him and gives him treats. He has a blast! We feel comfortable leaving our dog with Lauri. She knows how to interact with dogs and all kinds of animals, and Stu felt comfortable around her from the start. We leave him with Lauri every Saturday and whenever we go out of town.

Lauri is great! She really cares about the pets and pays attention to them. She took the time to get to know him beforehand and made me feel at ease, especially since he is an older guy. He loved being there! Thanks, Lauri and Bella Rosa!

I called this business to get a quote and ask a few questions about the services provided and she was extremely rude. I usually never write reviews, but this was straight up wrong, I asked how many dogs she thinks she may have and she responded by saying “well that’s a stupid question, I won’t know how many I’ll have way out in the future” then she proceeded to rush me off the phone. As a service provider and a human and general you don’t talk to anyone like that let alone a customer…I was just getting information and everything sounded nice until then. Just rude. She called back and apologized however, I advise as a business owner you must be able to control your emotions.

We've had great experiences working with Lauri of Lauri's Pet Sitting Service, using her to board our dog when we travel. She provides a safe and comfortable environment for the fur babies and cares for them as if they are her own. She even sends pictures of our baby while we are away so we can see how he's doing! We trust Lauri to care for our fur baby and highly recommend her services!

Love Pilar, her husband, and family! They are so caring and I trust them fully with my babies. The dogs are not separated by size but they vet all the animals before accepting them. So I feel comfortable with my smaller dogs being mixed with the group. All dogs require vaccine records. Prices are reasonable for the care, quality, and last minute drop-off requests! Would recommend.

Just moved to Ybor City 4 days ago. I was super excited to have a pet resort that is only a 2 minute walk from my new home. I walked over to check out pricing and to make sure I had all required documents to bring my pets in the future. I drive trucks so this would have been perfect. Never even got to step foot inside the building. An old guy standing in the doorway with his arms crossed blocked the door and would not let me enter. He asked me, "what do you want?". I said, "huh?" He said, "yeah, what do you want?" I responded, "it's ok, I'll never do business here."

We can rest easy on our trips when the dogs are at Pilar's. Our corgis and dachshund love Pilar and her family.

If you are looking for a great place to bring your pup, look no further! Pilar's is a no kennel boarder/day care so your dog is free to roam and play all day or just find a comfortable spot to sleep. Pilar's is wonderful and the staff is amazing. My doggo is a shy girl but had a great time here! She is very scared of thunder and fireworks but the staff played music and had fans going over the 4th and she didn't even notice! I will be using Pilar's for any other boarding or daycare we might need. Thank you for such an great place where I know my sweet girl is well taken care of while we are out of town.

Pilar is amazing with all dogs! I trust very few people to take care of my dog, but when Nala is here I don't worry for a minute. She always has so much fun and I feel so comfortable leaving her. Thank you for taking such great care of Nala and all the other pups!

Our babies go here at least twice a week. They run straight to the steps from the car and don't look back!!! Lots of love, socialization, and exercise! The owners and staff are very knowledgeable and intuitive. Kennel free! The dogs can go in and out as they please. Very home like environment. Great set up for play outside. Good pricing, but only accept cash or check.

There are not enough words to say how wonderful Pilar's Resort is! She is wonderful and she is awesome..........We miss Tampa and the resort. Her customer service is incredible and her love for her pets shows. Tinkerbell was there for four years and would recommend this Resort to anyone without any hesitation............

Our Great Danes love going there for daycare and boarding. Herman and Pilar do a wonderful job caring for the dogs. For those giving 1 star because they don't accept pit mixes, I'd give them 10 stars for that very reason, and I don't care how "unacceptable" that may be to some!

Layla stayed at Pilars Pet Resort for two nights while we were visiting Tampa from out of town. She had such a great time and made many new friends! The facility is very spacious and clean, and she was very well taken care of. When we come back to Tampa our pup will definitely be staying here again!

This is my fur baby's happy place! He loves going to play, for the day or occasional boarding. I honestly believe that Pilar and family MIGHT love me pup as much as I do ❤️ I never worry about him when he's with them. I'd give them 100 stars if I could...

Fairy Tail Pet Care made our wedding day so special! It would not have been the same without them and having our sweet babies there. You could tell instantly the love and passion they have for animals! They took the time to meet and learn all 5 of our babies unique personalities and rescue stories. This meant the world to us! Within 10 minutes they were our pets new best friends almost as if they knew our babies forever. I never once had to worry about their well being. Even with 5 rambunctious beagles it went so smoothly. They were so well taken care of and listened to all my concerns. They were on time and came prepared for everything including having the squeaky toys ready for pictures, fancy water bottles that our puppies loved drinking from, and extra leashes and lots of cookies. Ilana one of the founders is such a special person. She was always in contact with me and took the time to understand our pets unique situation and provided love and compassion on our special day. The whole team was absolutely amazing!! Fairy Tail Pet Care were the biggest blessing at our wedding and deserve so much more love and appreciation than I can express through words.

Bethany and the FairyTail Pet Care team were absolutely wonderful in helping us include our dog, Sunshine, in our wedding. They cared for her so well, and it was clear she was comfortable with them from the start. They were prompt and were accommodating to her needs! I can't recommend FairyTail Pet Care enough! They were incredible to work with and were phenomenal with our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Bentley. They made him feel comfortable in a very scary and stressful new situation. They answered all of my questions and were very thorough asking questions about what we needed and what would happen on our wedding day. Communication was excellent and very fast! Our two handlers went above and beyond from picking him up and taking him to the venue, getting him acclimated to the space, having him mingle with guests, have him ready for photos and two handoffs (he walked down the aisle with the groom and was our ring bearer) and also took him home, fed him, made sure he went potty and had plenty of cuddles! I was very worried about how Bentley would do in the wedding as it wasn't something I could easily train him for, but they made sure he did great! On the big day they arrived right on time to pick him up, had him ready in his wedding attire, and kept an eye on the time and what he needed to be doing. They brought treats and squeaky toys to help with photos, and we got some great photos because of them going the extra mile! Their care is above and beyond and very professional, and they made sure to cover everything he and we needed! They also texted us pictures and an update as well which was so appreciated! I could see how passionate they were and how much they cared about Bentley and making our day special and go smoothly. I highly recommend FairyTail Pet Care for your wedding. The extra cost is worth it for piece of mind and to have your beloved pet have the care he or she deserves on your wedding day. I truly feel like things would not have gone well if we did not hire them! Do yourself the favor- your wedding day is stressful enough. :) We could not have asked for a better plus one then Ilana and were glad she was apart of our special day.

The best date we could have asked for for our pup! Kelly did the best job following all the instructions we provided and he had such a fun time. He got lots of walks, lots of great photos, and lots of socializing time. We had complete trust in Kelly and Fairy Tail pet care taking care of our dog, Stanley. Our fur babies Sid and Sugar were in such great care during our wedding thanks to FairyTail Pet Care! We got to enjoy our special day knowing our babies were in great hands. Sid and Sugar got to meet one of the handlers prior to the event which was great. The handler got to see them in their element which eased some of our nervousness leading up to the wedding. During the wedding day, the handlers walked, feed, and cared for Sid and Sugar. We did pay for overnight care which we highly recommend. The best part of the whole day was having Sid and Sugar involved in photos and cocktail hour. All of our guests got to mingle with them thanks to FairyTail Pet Care! The handlers took so many videos and photos for us to cherish forever. My husband and I would highly recommend booking with them! Your fur babies will have the best time during your wedding day!

I honestly do not think I can say enough good things about FairyTail Pet Care!!!! They were hands down the best purchase I made for my wedding day!! Worth every single penny! As soon as Ilana came in the door to my bridal suite, she immediately went to Diesel & got on the floor with him and introduced herself and it was like love at first sight with those two!! Diesel took to Ilana so well, I was just in awe! He was so relaxed & comfortable with her from the get go and that put me at ease as well! We booked Ilana for 6 hours and she did the most phenomenal job taking care of Diesel and assisting him down the aisle, assisted during photos & made sure he was included in every step of our wedding - all with the biggest smile on her face! Ilana truly loves what she does & it showed!! Diesel was so well behaved for her and I truly did not have to worry one bit because I knew he was in such good hands!! FairyTail Pet Care was incredible to work with. Our three handlers were the perfect match to take care of our three animals. Not only did they assist with handling our very energetic Jack Russell mix, our very anxious Australian Cattle Dog- they kept our sweet tabby cat entertained and loved on all day! Everything was such a breeze to book. This is a service that is beyond amazing to have for your special day but really just takes away the stress of our animals on the wedding day and allowed them to be a part of the festivities!

We just LOVE Paws 'n' Rec; but more importantly, our beautiful Havanese Tanner LOVES it too. In the past when we would board our wonderful dogs, they would take days-upon-days to "recover". Clingy, moody, just not "normal"! That is not the case with Paws 'n' Rec! He loves visiting, loves playing, is a photo-hog and comes home perfectly normal. We can't say enough about how great they folks are and the care they give to our wonderful Tanner. Nothing but a FIVE-Star recommendation!

I will be dropping my 2 dogs off tomorrow for 6 days of boarding (for the 1st time) and for once I don’t feel crippled by anxiety about leaving them. The staff made me feel so comfortable during their consultation and have been very accommodating and communicative with the experience the pups will be having. I know my dogs will be well taken care of and I’ll enjoy hearing updates!

Paula did such an amazing job with our mini dachshund, Liesl! We had an initial meet and greet, and then we booked Paula weeks in advance as we needed reliable in-home care for Liesl during our wedding weekend. When it came time to drop Liesl off, we felt so at ease with her in Paula’s care! We knew she’d have fun and be spoiled at Paula’s! Liesl’s only 1.5 years, so she’s very energetic and requires extra precautions due to dachshunds’ susceptibility to back issues. Paula treated Liesl like her very own, asking for details on her every need, like, dislike, and routine. We also got picture updates throughout the weekend. It sounded like Liesl had as fun a weekend as we did during our wedding! We highly recommend Paula to anyone looking for their pet to be spoiled in a comfy home while they’re away!

Harbour Island Pet sitting is a great option if your furry friends are extremely precious. Paula is highly attentive, has great oversight and awareness and goes the extra mile in terms of reassurance and trust. You can’t ask for better care for your pets. Paula provided services for our dogs at our home. Prior to our departure, Paula came to meet our dogs and to go over our desired schedule. While we were gone, Paula sent photos and updates. Upon our return we found our dogs happy and all well. We couldn’t be happier with the care Paula provided and will continue to use Harbour Island Pets for future boarding arrangements.

What a wonderful gift of relaxation Jenny and the team with Rover Heights gave me by providing such wonderful care for my Luna. Jenny responded quickly to my last minute holiday need for overnight pet sitting and WOW did the team ever come through. While I was away, I received beautiful pictures of my sweet girl in different settings during her walks. Luna looked so happy and that allowed me to enjoy myself and completely relax for the first time in many months. I cannot recommend Jenny and Rover Heights enough!! I recently used Rover Heights for the first time to take care of my dog while I was out of town—including staying in our home and pet taxi services. My dog is routine-driven and can get sad when we are away. What truly stood out was Jeanne’s care and attention to his routine and putting him at ease. A few years ago I needed to travel out of town and my dog (a German Shepherd) was not responding well to being left at home alone even when I had to go in to the office post-pandemic. Jenny (and the most amazing dog walker, Danielle) were so patient in working with me, getting to know me and Alexis. Since then, they've been my go-to and Alexis loves them! I love the way I know I can count on them to stop in, even when it's short notice. I also appreciate the pictures they send during the visit so I can see for myself that she really is just fine. :)

From weekday walks with our 2 active dogs to weekend checks on our cat when we are out of town, we can count on them to provide excellent care for our pets! We were in a pinch and needed someone to take care of our pup over the holiday weekend. Rover Heights came to the rescue! Jenny not only provided food/water service, but also spent quality time with our pup and gave her plenty of TLC. Jenny also sent us pictures with updates to let us know how our pup was doing, which made my family very happy. We will definitely use Rover Heights services again! I needed someone to check in on my dogs, let them out, feed them, etc during a week in November, and this company surpassed all my expectations. Jenny, the owner, is on top of all communication, she uses an app that makes all communication (and payment) very easy. My dog sitter was Danielle, and she was fantastic, sent me pictures, and was very good with my large dog as well as my smaller ones. She also took in the mail, and any packages outside the door. She was very easy to communicate with, and the app this company uses allowed Danielle to check in and out, which let me know when she was there for a visit and when she left. Overall, I gave this company 5 stars because they cleared all my concerns while I was away, they did exactly what they said they were going to do, they were organized, reasonable, excellent with the timing and methods for communicating with me, and their prices are excellent. I am very happy, would recommend this company to my friends and family (and have) and will use this company again! Edited to include that it’s now 2023, and I’m still using this company, I’m still very happy, and I greatly appreciate the consistency as far as their service!🙌🏼

PJ is terrific! She walked/watched my dog Barkley from 2015 - 2021. He just adored her and loved staying over night when I traveled. PJ is very flexible and helped pick him up or drop him off if needed. She also gave him a good bath in between grooming appointments, which was a huge bonus! Now PJ watches / walks my new girl, Casey Brown. She helps with the training and sets up play dates for her to socialize and play with other dogs while I am at work. She has so much fun and it gives me such joy to see her so happy. I couldn’t do it without her! I have had to travel and have no worries when I have to board her @ Yanni’s. I have such peace of mind knowing she is in such good hands when I am away. A true treasure for your pet!

I have used Yanni’s pet sitting service for over 10 years. I never worry about my pup when she is with this sitter. She does private boarding and when my pup sees the sitter come to the door, my pup goes crazy with excitement. She also watches over my cat when I’m out of town too. I would recommend this sitter 100 times over. Nothing better than knowing your fur family/babies is in good hands and that the fur babies are happy. She is trustworthy safe :) call this sitter immediately :)

PJ is absolutely wonderful with our dogs when we were out of town for 2 weeks. She sent us periodic updates, including pictures that really put our minds at ease. We are confident that our dogs would be looked after and loved while we were away, and they absolutely were. PJ is extremely professional and friendly. Couldn’t recommend her more!

I am thrilled about PJ's awesome services as a dog sitter! Now that I know of her, I will be sending my beloved dog to her every time I go out of town. She kept in touch with me while my dog was with her which I really appreciated. Also, she took the time to take pictures and videos so that I could see for myself that my dog was adjusting well. It was my dog's first experience being away from me and I felt so secure and safe knowing that she was in EXCELLENT hands! She gave me much needed advice on certain topics pertaining to dog care when I came to pick her up. Her place is perfectly designed for taking care of dogs. The beds and crates are appropriately placed against walls. There is a wonderful outdoor area for dogs to be in, along with umbrellas to shade them. One of the pluses in having her is that she genuinely loves taking care of dogs. It is not just a job, but a job that she LOVES and CARES about. Even though I reside in Pinellas County where there are many dog sitting facilities, I prefer driving to her home in Tampa, a trip well worth it. I strongly recommend her, without any reservation, in using her services.

I was incredibly happy with the pet sitting service here! My 9 month old corgi had a pleasant experience and I felt very relieved to have put her in such good hands. Prior to the pet sitting, my puppy had been struggling with obedience and after staying with PJ, she came home better trained and way more obedient! Look no further!!! PJ and her pet-sitting services are the BEST around! I have been using her as a dog walker since March 2018 and couldn't be happier. First of all, she is 100% trustworthy, professional, and reliable. I receive a daily text message with pictures, an update on the walk, if my dog peed/pooped, and if she drank water. She will also feed my dog during the visit if I am working late. Each visit includes cuddles and plenty of love, too! :) Also, she is so flexible and accommodating! My work schedule is always changing and sometimes I work evenings and weekends. PJ has never missed a day that we didn't plan for way in advance!! And on the rare occasion she wasn't available, she went out of her way to make accommodations so that my dog would be taken care of. I recently needed some last-minute help on a Saturday and texted her with little warning. She had special plans that day but still went out of her way in the late morning to make a visit to my house! You will not regret your decision to use this dog walking service! Her passion and professionalism are hard to beat! :)

Best pet-sitting service in Tampa! Had a death in the family and needed to leave town abruptly. We googled local sitters and found Yanni’s about 4 hours before our flight departed out of Tampa. PJ actually drove out to the airport to meet us and pick up our 2 dogs (50 lb. Vizslas) for the 1st time. She sent us pictures daily, took them into the pool and did just a terrific job making our rambunctious pets feel very at home and comfortable. She even washed their blankets so they would be clean when we picked them up! PJ is wonderful. Great care. Safe. Very well cared for. And very accommodating. Highly recommend!

PJ is the best! Her rates are very reasonable and I always feel comfortable being out of town knowing she’s looking after my cats. She goes above and beyond for me - checking my mail, watering some plants, taking out the garbage - all without me needing to ask. I love that she sends daily updates and multiple photos. The longest she watched my cats was for 6 weeks while I was out of the country. As a pet owner, it’s always hard to leave your pets but I trust her 100% to give the absolute best care possible. She even feeds the TNR cats I care for while I’m out of town. Could not recommend her more!!!
