We recently bought a house in Florida after being on the road in our RV with our dog Hercules. Hercules was looking pretty ragged for a ShiPoo. Arlene took him on a Sunday and did a fantastic job on him. He is 16 years old and this was a change for him . He looks amazing and had been extremely happy ever since. I know he feels better! Arlene was fantastic!

I have 2 small dogs one is pretty hairy and they come out looking so cute like they were show dogs. I love taking them to the Handsome Hound .💥 …

I have to drove a lot for work. One day I passed by this Farm and stopped to try it out & mentioned it was my first time there. Bought some veggies. At the end, the young man adds a tomato (which was not among the veggies I chose) to my order. I said "thank you" and he nodded...I thought it was a gift. Later I looked at my receipt and he charged me for the tomato...and to top it all it was a rotten tomato. Very dishonest. I won't go back and don't recommend.

I have used Part of the Family kennels for 9 years. I board multiple pets and have had all of them groomed here as well. When traveling with our animals we've had to use many other kennels and I have to say this is the cleanest kennel I've ever been inside. The owners and staff here are experienced, caring and knowledgeable and always treat the animals well. They go above and beyond to ensure my pets are safe and well cared for anytime I leave them here. I am experienced with many types of animals and it's easy to tell when people take their business seriously and know what they're doing. This place is the best! If I could give more stars I would. Very good place to leave your dog. They actually take care of your dog nicely. It is the cheapest and best option of dog hotels in Tampa. My dog runs to the caretakers when we get there as if they are his owners. My dog loves that place very much. Please consider going there.

We have 3 senior dogs, 1 with cancer & one almost totally blind. After a 8 day stay they came home happy & healthy. This is our second group of pups that we have had stay here over the years, would most certainly recommend this business & will return when we go out of town again.

Part of the Family kennels always does a great job taking care of our dogs while we are away. We also use them for grooming. They do a fabulous job on our two shihtzus! Highly recommended!!

This is the second time our old man Marley has stayed here. He was happy when we picked him up. I didn't have to worry about him at all. This is by far the safest and best place to leave your dog. Great people and I really appreciate being able to go somewhere and not worry. He is my sweet old man and don't trust him with just anyone. Best kennel ever!!!!

In our entire lifetime, we have never kenneled any of our dogs, but after dad passed last year, mom and I don't have a backup to watch the dogs....WE DO NOW!!!! Ty & Steven were so fabulous, our 3 dogs acclimated instantly and they were all taken care of so well. We're selling our house and we'll be using their daycare for the days of the showings. We even have our first bathing/grooming appointment next Thursday! Love Part of the Family Kennels and the family. Lol

I highly recommend part of the family! Specifically: I have a very anxious and animal aggressive dog so I was nervous leaving her in the kennel for 4 nights/ 5 days. I let them know she was very skittish and aggressive and they told me it would not be a problem.. I was still nervous just for the fact that this would be her first time being boarded and she has never spent the night anywhere other than my other family’s home. When I first called, the owner at the front desk made me feel like they were going to take very good care of her and when I picked her up I felt the same way. I really felt like they handled her and cared for her well. I was told she was very scared the whole time just because of the other animals and a high energy foreign place for her which I expected. I felt very comfortable and confident that they actually cared for my dog. Again, I highly recommend and will take her back for all future boarding needs!

The staff is very friendly 😀I was very scared to leave Cuba at first because he doesent like people at first it takes him a while but his brother MAX goes toPart of the family often for boarding and he loves it. Now Cuba loves it and when it comes to gromming its horrriable he hates it he has to take a pill .But part of the family has grooming so i decided to try it and no pill was given and he did awsome and his haircut was the best he ever had and with out medicine i was so HAPPY .This will be my place for my fur babies and i tell all my friends and family as well.NOW i can go on vacation and not worry thank you to all of you at Part of the family for making us feel like PART OF THE FAMLY

My Puppy Batie has been going to Part of the Family Kennels for several months now, and I'd have to say that they definitely live up to their name! I never have to worry when Batie is there - I know that they are taking the best care of her. She is always excited to go there, and she always looks really good and is in fantastic spirits when I pick her up! I don't plan on ever bringing her anywhere else, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Part of the Family Kennels!

I've been taking my dogs there for years, ever since the previous owners. Karen and her staff cleaned and refurbished the facility to meet much needed standards when she bought and took over and we've been very pleased. They're responsive and accomodating to requests and make sure our dogs are well-cared for in our absence and always keep open lines of communication.

Love this places. We have three good size dogs and are very spoiled. We used this place a couple times and they are wonderful, friendly responsive staff, called if anything was wrong and made sure our boys were taken care of. Our dogs went back to them for their good bye attention, which for our boys says so much.

This was the first time that I had to board Benjamin since I rescued him a few years ago. He doesn’t like other dogs and can get pretty stressed out when they are around. I didn’t know what to expect when I dropped him off this weekend, but I am so happy we found this place. They were so patient and kind with Ben and I. They truly cared about Ben and his needs. If I ever have to board him again, I will definitely come back here. I can’t recommend them enough!

Under new ownership. The new owners are great, I boarded my three dogs and my daughters dog. Their prices are very reasonable and affordable. We were given a tour of the facility when we arrived. All of the dogs were in shaded kennels, had water in their bowls, had plenty of space and seemed to be content. The kennels were all clean. Our dogs were definitely happy to see us when we picked them up but did not seem to be stressed or unhappy. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because it was our first time boarding our hairy babies there but I will definitely board them again and I also recommended them to anyone who is skeptical about boarding their beloved 4 legged family members.

I tried Rivers Edge Pet Resort after the boarding location that I usually use was not available for a last minute trip. These guys are awesome and will now be my preferred boarding location. They provided great customer service and my dog seemed happier and less stressed than when I picked her up at other locations. Highly recommended!

Just picked up Sophia, Sigma and Toby from Rivers Edge and I cannot say enough good things about Trish and the rest of the team! I'm so thankful for their patience and love this week and am so grateful that we found somewhere to care for the furbabies ❤️

Have boarded my dog twice and my cats once. They always come home in good moods and they dog got excited both times he got to go. Very responsive and keep in touch if they have a problem or question. They are our go to for pet boarding.

The care that our dogs are given here is amazing! Our 2 dogs get so excited when we turn down Hwy 301 because they know where they are going. They fight to get into the door. Thank you to everyone that takes care of our beloved 4-legged children.

My wife takes our dogs to be groomed on a monthly basis. We have 2 yorkies and a maltese mix. Typically they come home looking good but after coming home from Rivers Edge they looked GREAT! They were recommended to us and since they are so close to home, we thought it was worth a try. Well worth it. They will always go there from now on.

You can’t go wrong with Happy Tails. I’ve been taking my Luna there for a couple of years and she absolutely loves it. They have tons of room to run and they let the dogs have lots of play time. That was super important to me. And as a bonus, they usually send me pictures!!

Friendly and professional - my pup seemed to love his time at day play. If I have the need again in the future, I'd be thrilled to take him back. Very fair pricing and excellent care (plus they sent a few photos of him enjoying his day).

Was at first very nervous about getting the dog from some of the reviews I have read regarding the puppies health and some other issues. But from everything I’m honestly very grateful and happy we went this route I love my puppy and we are so thankful they were awesome and very professional! Recommend going to them if your planning on getting a puppy definitely worth it!!!

We've been a customer for 15 years and have always been very satisfied the the care my dogs receive. They get to play a lot outdoors while they are there. Even though there are many other places to board my dogs much closer, to us and and my dogs it is well worth driving 30 minutes to get there. They even offer a special Thanksgiving meal for a small cost and send photos of the dogs enjoying it.

Our Leyla never wants to leave when we pick her up! Well worth the price. You can tell the care providers actually enjoy being around and interacting with their guests. After finding this place we don’t even comparison shop anymore. Leyla has found her home away from home!

I was very pleased with the staff and the attentiveness they gave me and my animals . They did a very great job. Last week my family and I were on vacation, so our dog was staying with Leigh and her staff at Happy Tails. While away 1000's of miles away, our dog developed some post op issues from surgery 8 weeks ago, and I thought our vacation was over and had to return to take care of our dog with doctor visits, etc. The owner Leigh said she would assist us while away and would take our dog to the emergency animal clinic and she did !! and as well went another day to our dog's surgeon. WOW!! her service to us went WAY ABOVE OUR EXPECTATIONS !!, we have a pet lodge for our dog for life. Thank you Leigh, you have an awesome place and you are a perfect fit for taking care of animals. We've been boarding our dog here since 2011. We have left her here for weekend trips and long trips; never felt that we had to worry. We usually do an exit bath because she plays so hard. She normally sleeps for an entire day after returning home because they allow the dogs to play multiple times throughout the day. An added bonus to this place is that the dogs have their own private dog run that goes outside from their inside kennel. Upon pick up we get a report on how she did. Their pricing is reasonable, staff friendly and accommodating for special requests.

Ale' enjoyed his stay here. Once I picked him up, he was non-stop praising the staff and telling me what a great time he had the week we left him there. That is saying a lot about the place when your dog wants us to book a room for him the next time we decide to leave him behind to enjoy another vacation.

Marsha has taken care of our Mini Schnauzer Sebastian many times when we need to leave home for an extended period of time. Sebastian is always well taken care of. She makes notes as to when she takes him out and how often he uses the potty. I am very particular as to who I would leave my pets care to and I NEVER worry knowing Marsha will be there for Sebastian

We could not be more DISSAPOINTED in the services we received from Marcia Berger (South Paws In-Home Pet Sitter.) She did not follow the schedule we have and agreed upon for our dogs, she was only there at our home for the overnight hours and left my 80 year old mother-in-law to deal with the dogs all day. She told us of two times she would not be there, once when she would go out with her friends Friday night at Cigar Life Lounge for a couple hours which turned into her leaving at 6pm and coming back to the house after 11pm. The other time was church on Sunday, That day she was gone from 7:30am to 3:50pm, again leaving my mother-in-law to do the job she was being paid to do. Saturday she was gone from 9:45am till after 5pm. Her website talks about how she spends quality time with our pets. When questioned on it she said she was there all night and that was the quality time. The dogs also get calming medicine given once at night with their food, they received it for breakfast and dinner on Saturday. Everything was written in black and white and ignored. Additionally she chose to smoke a cigar on our enclosed Lanai without even the common courtesy to ask us if was ok, and we were left to pick up the ashes and tobacco pieces she left behind. (oh and yes tobacco is toxic to dogs.) We also cleaned up tobacco pieces from our master bathroom toilet area, which yes smells like she smoked in there too. Her response to this was I never smoked in the house only outside with the door closed. Again without respecting us enough to ask first. I guess she forgot or didn't realize we have outside cameras (yes they are out in the open.) We hired her to take care of our dogs, which are our children. She did not. she did as she wanted and ignored everything else. She left it to the 80 year old woman in poor health to do it.

Marcia was able to help us with walking our dog and checking in on granny twice a day. Luna loved her from the time she met her. She was prompt, arrived on time and was in contact with me while I was away. I would not hesitate to leave Luna with her or use her services again.

Marcia has taken care of my 2 dogs who are like my family, like they are her family! From the time we initially met to interview up until the time we got back from vacation, Marcia was professional and very good at keeping us informed about our pets. I have used her more than once, and she continues to provide loving care! I come home and my home is just the way I left it. I’m happy and so are my dogs.. Thank you for becoming a trusted caregiver and now a good friend.

After landing in Tampa on 9/24/23 at 11:45 p.m., we received a text message from Marcia saying that her employee had let our indoor cat out of the door and it was too dark for the employee (Marcia Simonds) to try to find her. According to the video clips from home, the employee had left our property at 5:16 p.m. in the bright sunlight. The employee has not contacted us to explain what happened and when we called Marcia, she blew us off with a story that her lost cat had returned after a night missing. She promised to call us the next day to see if our cat had returned. We are still awaiting that call. In our opinion, the lack of responsibility and accountability displayed by this company, the owner, and the employees is deplorable and unacceptable. We can't, in good faith, recommend this company to care for your pets adequately.

We have used South Paws twice now, both times for about one week a piece. We have 4 cats two dogs and a fish! She was amazing! All of my animals loved her, she came twice a day and also brought in our mail for us. I love how much she truly does care about the animals and their well being while you’re away. She sent me daily photos of everyone which made me feel so happy and when we returned everything and everyone was happy and perfect. I will forever use South Paws when having to leave my fur babies 🤍

Marcia is fabulous with my kitties! She is reliable and takes such good care of my fur babies! From feeding to doing the litter boxes, I know she is taking care of it! She even leaves me a message each day! I Highly recommend her! She is trustworthy and has my key!!! Love her and so do my kitties!!! ❤️😻 …

I'm so very happy with Marcia as my cat sitter. She's very professional, on time, good with instructions. Most importantly, I trust her with my cats and in my home. Not only was Dr. Marcia very communicative when I was away, but she also assured me that my pet was safe, as she made sure to send pictures of my dog each day that she visited. Sasha has been taking care of my puppy frenchie since I got him. You can tell that he loves her and is comfortable with her. My work schedule is very busy and Sasha is always there to help, whether it be walks or overnights at her house. She even took him to the vet for me for an emergency allergy visit! I was so nervous at first to have someone else watch him, but she sends me photos and videos to make me feel more comfortable. Now I don't worry at all! She treats Tank as her own and I'm so grateful to have someone so loving and sweet watching my baby when I can't. :)

I am one of those crazy dog moms that leaves behind 4 pages of notes and instructions for anyone watching my pups while we are gone. When we met Sasha, we knew instantly that she would be an excellent caregiver for our furbabies. She asked a lot of really good questions and had us fill out a little info sheet for each dog. The first time she watched them, we got lots of real time pictures and videos- which we loved! Our dogs are always super excited when she walks in the door and we know they are in excellent hands when she is around. Cannot recommend her enough!

Sasha is amazing! She really understands dogs and has a passion for them. I have two pups she watches and one is an older dog who is very sensitive and has anxiety. Sasha does so great with her and my senior dog adores her. You can trust and rely on her with your pups!

Fantastic service. We will be using Luxury Walks for all of our pet sitting needs. Sasha is a delight and very professional. Whenever we leave town, Luxury Walks watches our french bulldog (Lola). The reason we continue to go back to Sasha is the personal nature of Lola's stay with her. She constantly updates you with photos and videos, but most of all it shows that our dog is being taken care of and not just "watched". Sasha is very attentive to any health issue, and will keep you apprised of everything that's going on. If you want your dog to be in a room or crate while you are out of town, Sasha/Luxury Walks is not the place for you. If you want piece of mind that your pet is being taken care of (and most times playing with other dogs as well) then you won't find better service.

Sasha has been incredible. I started using her when my mini goldendoodle was about 6 months old and she has been nothing but amazing for the past several months. She is incredibly responsive and loves all the dogs she cares for. My dog Kona adores her as well and gets so excited to see her every time she gets a walk. This is a true testament to her dedication and love for her job and the pups! Would highly recommend her services!!

Sasha is great with our dogs. She’s always available, always visits on time, and she sends great photos showing that the dogs are ok. We love having her watch our dogs because we know they’ll be cared for very well. I highly recommend her.

I love Sasha's services she has out done herself multiple times, I work a very spuratic scedule and she is always accommodating. She has house sat for my Doberman many times and wouldn't trust any other pet service company with him. She always gives him attention and sends me updates via text and face time of how he's doing. Pretty good facility. Little noisy and kennels are set up like the animal shelter with no solid wall between kennels. But, my dog seemed to be well taken care of with the exception of not being given his chew bone. The guy that does the bathing does a great job!!!!! It's definitely worth the $20 add-on to get a clean-smelling pooch to come home to. Prices are fair, and they give you your 7th boarding day free, which is nice.

My two English Setters were scheduled for a grooming appointment today 7/22/2023 at Uncle G’s bed and biscuit at 1821 Stephens Ln, Dover, FL. 33527. I was originally told to bring them between 8 -9 AM. Then I received a call a couple days prior to the appointment and was told to drop them off between 8:30 and 9 AM. I received a call from them at 8:30 this morning the day of their appointment and was told since they were not there at 8:30 they could not groom my fur babies today. They said I was supposed to have them there by 8:30 AM which WAS NOT the information that was told to me! I explained I was on my way and would be there in 5 minutes. I mentioned that they haven’t even started grooming any of the dogs yet today and me arriving at 8:35 wouldn’t be hurting anything or their scheduled. I was told that they have a busy schedule and a lot of dogs to groom today. So basically they over booked and this was an excuse not to see my two dogs today. I am very upset about this, and was looking forward to finding a new groomer for my girls. This would have been my first time taking my dogs there and after this experience I would NEVER take them there now nor would I recommend them.

Uncle G's is easily the best boarding facility my pups have ever stayed at. They're super friendly, very understanding, and are great with animals! On top of that their pricing and rewards program is very good and affordable. I will always board my dogs here.

Great place for your dog. They care about the dogs. Dogs go to the yard by themselves. I like this. My dogs are my love. They have cameras all over the place. Their private kennel has access to both the air conditioner and the outside as well. Price is very good. Also have a groomer. And a cat kennels. They are totally seperated from the dogs. And pits are welcomed there. I strongly recommend them for boarding your fur baby.

After reading more positive reviews than I can recall, this was a no-brainer. Nice place ! GREAT PEOPLE ! Our pup was there for 3 nights. She was well taken care of .. . she came home clean, happy, smelling fresh, no fleas !! Won't hesitate to use Uncle G's again. ! Smart, safe choice for sure !

Uncle G's Bed & Biscuit saved the vacation! We found out about them last minute & were able to board our dogs there. We have a husky & black mouth curr/lab mix that have NEVER been boarded & our black mouth curr was too anxious to pass the initial test period at another place, but since the dogs at Uncle G's are all in their private kennels w/ a private path to run, this wasn't an issue. We were already pretty happy, but the icing on the cake was when the young lady at the front told us they removed the charge for the nail trimming because they missed a few nails (the husky is difficult to groom, even for me).THAT'S INTEGRITY. We would definitely recommend & will be boarding our dogs there again in the future.

Hands DOWN the best place around Plant City to bring our dogs when we leave town. They are always happy to go in and clean and have had bathes and nails done coming home. They have even laundered our blankets before coming home.

We’ve boarded our dog here many times and it’s always a great experience. They take great care of our beagle and we even get pictures of him almost daily from the staff while we’re away. We wouldn’t bring him anywhere else!

I was very impressed with how well Dogs R Us staff took care of my pup while we went on vacation for a week! Lynne was so knowledgeable and kind and made me feel at ease. She sent pictures every day. When my pup got sick the first couple days, she immediately let me know and adjusted his diet to help with tummy issues. There's plenty of space for the dogs to run around and play! The price is reasonable and well worth it. All the staff was kind and helpful. We will definitely bring him back! Thank you!!

I just moved to the area, and had an out of state emergency. I posted a desperate plea online, and Sam responded immediately. She took excellent care of my kitty... for 3weeks. I ran out of food, and she went shopping for me!! I got daily photos and updates. I couldn’t have asked for BETTER service and care!!!
